Damn it Marvel! Why'd the Squadron Sinister have to be cooler than the Justice League members they're ripping off! Doctor Spectrum and Nighthawk especially (they seem way cooler than Batman and Hal Jordan to me). Apparently even your rip offs of DC are cooler than DC! Because seriously, Nighthawk is way cooler than Batman! I found him a bit dull when I tried to read the defenders years ago, but he's still way cooler than batman! (Avengers #69):

Spider-Verse Comics Culminate in "Spider Society"

The Spider-Verse is about to converge into one super spider-saga. Spider-Society hails from writer Alex Segura and artist Scott Godlewski. Preludes and teasers to Spider-Society were / are to be seen in Web of Spider-Man (March 20, 2024) and Edge of Spider-Verse #1 (February 21, 2024) and #4 (May 29, 2024).

Spider-Villains from the Multiverse are gathering to team up as the Sinister Squadron. "It’s a grouping of villains like you’ve never seen, and to defend the very fabric of the universe, Madame Web will recruit every Spider-Hero there ever was for an unprecedented war that will redefine the web of life!" (Marvel Comics) The series will feature both new and favorite Spider-Characters.

This author is highly talented in writing, made some incredibly detailed fics, has a wonderful grasp on prose writing, and fantastically showcases what healthy polyamory looks like. I highly recommend giving this a read (as well as the Explicit ones, if that’s your jam…like me ✨)

For the video game enjoyers, especially on the Ace Attorney side, this is a beautiful short read. Detailing hurt and comfort in a way that is relatable, the author is able to capture the fluffiness in just a few words.

Another banger by FlopEraFics, this Call of Duty fic features one of MY favorite characters (as well as others), Ghost. The fic follows Soap on an expedition to Alaska, where the author beautifully details the scene to the crashing of the helicopter, to the frigid white cold of the landscape, down to the playful bantering in Soap’s squadron. If you’re a Supernatural fan, you’re gonna love this one. Sam Winchester and Gabriel are caught in a time loop, and need to figure out how to get back to normal. Some wacky and fun hijinx in this tale, including a candy shop/bakery AU they go to. This fic puts the “fun” in “dysfunctional” (as told by the author’s sister). Give it a look!

An amazing dialogue writer, this author writes the quips between Dean and Cas so hilariously that my ribs hurt from laughing so much. Seriously, go see for yourself just how genius the dialogue is! It makes the characters so relatable, and the banter that much more believable.
