💗 was either of you flirty during the pining stage?

Geto is not particularly flirty but he’s definitely a smooth talker. It’s a part of his charm that he can make people flustered with a few carefully chosen words. He likes getting smart with people and after some time he certainly knows how to get under their skin. And he knows that he’s hot shit and people are attracted to him even when he’s basically doing nothing. I’m absolutely not an exception, I can be swooned easily but I rather remain deflecting and snarky (bc I can’t take a fucking compliment).

Yupp, I’m kind of a tsundere, basically I spent a good chunk of the pining stage with playing hard to get (bc I was in denial lmao). He liked that a bit too much 😔

Me being flirty? Umm… it depends. With women and fem presenting people I do get flirty and I can be very initiative. With men and anyone masc presenting? Not really. Flirting is basically just having a good banter, having zero respect for personal space and a few lingering touch here and there. I don’t know why but I like being argumentative and competitive with men when I start nursing a lil crush for them.

😖 what moment flustered you the most?

Probably when he complimented my voice (let me tell you, I love out of pocket compliments, I'm so used to people telling me that my eye color/hair texture/my first name is nice it barely has an effect on me now), specifically that tone I use in professional settings.

If you work in a field that has something to do with education, a lot can depend on the way you talk to kids. This is especially true to kids with special needs. So after spending 3 terms with being mentored out on the field I developed a specific tone that I only use during one-on-one sessions and luckily the kiddos love that. Anxious kids like it because it's low and soothing. Autistic kids like it because it's monotone and devoid of symbolic elements. If I keep the tone but the pace of my speech is faster it's good for kids with ADHD. I occassionally break it with kids with challenging behavior, a little bit of humor and a brief back-and-forth is much more effective on them because they're used to professionals "babytalking" (as I like to call it, if you ever had a therapist you might know what I'm talking about) them and they can get fed up with it easily because it makes them feel that they're not treated as an equal.

So, I heard that Mimiko and Nanako struggle a bit in school and I offered my help. I always keep some spare worksheets and other useful work stuff (y'all have no idea how many card games and board grames are beneficial for cognitive, motor and executive functions I swear to god) around the house so it takes no effort to have a brief 40 minutes session with them once or twice a week and we'll see if there's any improvement.

Funny thing is, MimiNana are not very cooperative with strangers. And the only way to resolve this problem was to integrate the man himself into the session so the girls can be comfortable (even tho we're usually advised to keep any relative out of sessions or diagnostic processes). Somehow it worked, somehow I could keep everything under control, somehow we decided to keep it up until the girls are used to my presence.

And after the ordeal I got hit by that compliment. The fact is, I talk a lot, I talk fast and I can get really loud and theatrical when I'm carried away. That's basically the norm for me but not in a professional setting so it's understandable that it was unusual for him. And then, we circle back to the fact that I can't take a compliment. For the life of me I can't. And Geto is that type who continues to pester me until I have no choice but to accept it.

😳 what moment flustered them the most?

I have a soft spot for men who are good with kids, and good girldads have a very special place in my heart. It’s always comforting to a degree to see little girls being loved by their father figure if not even straight up healing my very own wound that I received from my father.

It slowly became a ritual of some sort that after every session with MimiNana I get a cup of coffee and a bit of time to recharge. And during that few minutes, out of the blue I told him that the girls are very lucky to have him as their caretaker. Obviously he was like that’s the least he can do but I said that I was telling nothing less than the truth, I know the difference between the good ones and the bad ones. That was probably the first time when I got a bit vulnerable around him, that's why it is so important to the both of us.

And then the whole thing just turned into an hour long trauma dumping session but that's just me being me. Geto is still very much appreaciative when I open up a little or... as we like to call it "crawl out of my tight little shell".

On a happier note, I am enjoying having to research baby milestones for the Midwifery Charge AU (fic and nostalgia rambles below the cut)

(which at this point, thanks to the help of a good friend, I've realised is best done as a collection of lil one shots from moments in it. I just. don't have the mental anything nor the organisation to do a multichap full fic rn. Y'all know I lose steam too easily on those and just don't do them as well as I do simple oneshots. I wrote a full original trilogy at age 10 and again at like age 21; I used all my 'full multichap project' juice too early in life AND both trilogies kind of sucked ass. RIP to them may their memory never find me again let alone be a blessing but I digress)

Bc it means I get to remember all the cute shit the cousins did when I was helping raise them and like. certain bits can be used for baby in the fic even!

Like how the oldest one learned to roll over from one direction, but then couldn't replicate it going the other way, and she would just. lose her shit wailing until someone rolled her over that way. Then she was good until oh fuck oh no, she rolled over right to left again and to her lil brain it was too different from rolling left to right, she's stuck forever oh g-oh hey someone rolled her back to her tummy. neat.

We never let her sit for more than a second or two stuck (mostly to try and encourage her to. ya know. Realise that she could in fact roll herself both ways and it would be fine. Took her time but she got there lol) and I'm just

Dying at the image of the crew so carefully taking turns watching Baby (who I'm gonna reveal bc I don't think I have yet? if i have ignore me lol, is named Basilica after Izzy's deadname (he gave her the name, there's an entire Thing abt it and little moments abt his journey as a trans man tucked into this au), going by Baz for short (thank u to the aforementioned good friend for this as a nickname for the full name, bc I was struggling to figure out how to shorten it and Baz is !!! perfect!!!) )

And she's been with them longer than expected. 4-6 months is the average that I've found for when babies learn to roll over, so maybe she's abt 5 months old at this point.

Doing tummy time with Fang and she does it! Right to left rolling over, absolutely perfect, stunning, no notes, they're gonna make her a medal but-

Oh no. She's gotta roll left to right now, and instead of rolling the other way she just panics and weeps and everyone on this ship is a big fuckin softy (i get it lol, I was with the cousins) so they keep rolling her over the other way to calm her.

Until they have a crew meeting and Jim mentions Nana telling them that sometimes, babies have to just. cry for a minute or two and learn how to do the thing. You can help, but first you have to let them try and encourage them to do it on their own. (they gloss over the fact that Jim also makes clear with this anecdote that Nana absolutely would have taught a baby how to throw a knife. And honestly, is she wrong for this? who can say, not me, but I like knives and think a baby with a knife is hilarious, so I'm biased. I'm never gonna have kids, don't worry lmao.)

Cut to everyone having tummy time while the ship is docked/anchored somewhere safeish (let's be real, for the Kraken crew, nowhere is really fully safe with all the raiding they've been doing. But Ed and Izzy and Fang all know the quieter spots other ppl have forgotten that they can rotate going to for moments like this)

In a circle, around Basilica on the blanket Frenchie designed and knit for her, while she whines and cries bc goddamn it, why is rolling the other direction so hard? So scary?

And they're all lowkey trying not to cry (Ed and Izzy the most out of all of them, for varying personal reasons that all ultimately culminate in a want for Basilica to have a better childhood than they did, including the little moments/early achievements like this) while babytalking like mad, trying to encourage her to roll the other way

It's just not happening, but juuuust as Izzy is abt to break and gently roll her over, a cannon booms in the distance

And if that adorable little shit doesn't roll left to right, then again, trying to lift her head up to see where the big noise came from. She's not even crying anymore, she's just curious!

Unfortunately, said cannon is a sign they need to head out, so they have to pick her up and get her settled in Ed's room(really Ed and Izzy's room, by this point. Are they back together in a healthy way? Not really, but they're Aware of their mutual issues and are just barely talking some of them through. or starting that process, at least) for her own safety and now she's crying bc she's so mad! She wanted to keep rolling over! She was literally on a roll, how fucking dare they pluck her off the floor so easily!!

Despite the potential incoming danger of another ship, everyone is giggling as they get the ship moving. I'm envisioning it like. U know when a baby is So Mad So Incensed, they're making those angry babbles that are loud enough to hear a room away? That sound is all they can hear aside from the waves and the far off cannon fire, and it's a mood lightener. Yeah, they might be about to fight for their lives, but listen to her! She's swearing! (I do absolutely have an idea for her first word being 'fuck' thanks to Izzy lmaooo)

And they're all as excited to escape not just for their lives, but so they can lay the blanket out again and have her show off her new skill. A little soft moment in between having to fight to save themselves or raiding for more loot (and baby gear/supplies, my god not a one of them ever thought they'd be threatening ppl for additional cloth diapers but. here they are lol.)

Anyway. Eventually I'm gonna get all the snippets posted up in an ao3 collection, including the few I've already posted here. When I get that started I'll drop a link, in the meantime I'm gonna see if I can get my brain to actually finish another oneshot for this au today lmao

What was your first ever story idea? What happened to it?

Oh man, let's get into this bb. My first story idea actually started off as Doctor Who fanfiction (the relic of which y'all can find reuploaded here if you really want to. I didn't get far bc I was a Child(tm) XD).

From there I decided to take the characters and make them into something more Original(tm) which turned into a disaster of a first attempt at a novel when I was a teenager

These days it's more of a passion project that lives on in my brain, after a long long time of developing my writing skills, but I still worldbuild for it and hope to make it an actual Thing one day.

What's your writing routine?

I actually made a tiktok about that a long time ago!

lmao no but I don't really have one? I'm a mood writer which is just writer for "I have unmedicated ADHD"

Are you a plotter, a pantser, or something in between?

Bit of a plantser. The writing process itself starts with pantsing-on-a-vague-outline, then I edit and structure an outline more firmly around the draft.

Leaning a lil more on planning rn though just because I've got such a complex web of plots and characters I have to get right in my head

Do you try to tell moral stories throughout your work, or any other life lessons? What are they?

"Fuck the system you were born into, do crimes and start a commune with your queer found family" is the long and short of it lmao.

Mostly I just want to spread a little hope through my queer superpowered idiots. Any lessons in my work are interpersonal, radical shit like "don't be a dick to people for stuff out of their control" and "hey, maybe the person who's angry all the time has a reason to be upset" and "traumatised people deserve support and love"

What do you prefer, character development or worldbuilding? Why?

Character development!! It's where basically everything I do begins, I love people and learning about people and different kinds of people and weaving them into their own little worlds ^w^

Do you have any tips for budding writers?

Research everything, write and rewrite, edit and re-edit. If you're struggling and you haven't before, try taking a break. If you've always struggled, try a different approach or three! Join writers' groups online to get support and advice! Don't be afraid to break rules but stay humble.

Who inspires you to write the most?

Two things:

"These answers that come into my mind unbidden // these stories delivered to me fully written" - I just,,,, Have Ideas. All the time and I have to write them down :D

I want to share those ideas! I get the most joy out of sharing joy. Part of it is of course my desperate and constant need for attention, but also I just,,, feel Big Feelings with my characters and I have the autistic need to share those Big Feelings all the time

I love how many systems have alters from Tokyo Ghoul lmao (at least in our circles). We have Hinami Fueguchi, Sen Takatsuki (Eto's pen name), and Rei (Juuzou's birthname). We also know a system who has a Haise Sasaki, and some form of Kaneki.

And then there's y'all!

Speaking of, may i ask how the Kens differ? Like are they different forms of Kaneki? How do they differ from source in appearance or personality or whatever y'all would like to share?

We also have Tooru! He's my bestiepop!! I am saying hello to all of your TG fictives!!! I havent met many others, so it's been a pleasant surprise to get a couple in my inbox!

They are! All different forms of Kaneki I mean!

This is how they look in our Simply Plural! Each one represents a time in his arc, so to speak. They do all have freckles, but otherwise they look very similar to their canonical counterparts. Of course, you can see Haise's "real" name here. He's a fictive of Kazuma from Noragami, but as I previously described, Haise is a huge ID for him!

I went into it a little in that longass post, but Kazuma/Haise is the Sensible one. The one that makes me eat or drink and nags me to take care of myself. The one that fusses and does our taxes and makes phone calls. You may be shocked to find he's dry humored and kinda serious! He has "tonal issues" he says, which is both true and a bit of an in-joke. While playful at times, he has a bad habit of talking politics and Me. We're both fictives from the same source - I won't get into it but his devotion is unwavering. He's often teased for having "one subject: Vana." He's also a huge perv :/ and believe it or not he's our biggest binge eater! He likes YA novels, dark romance, and nonfiction political books.

Kaneki is a lil brat, and is noticeably younger in how he acts. He's got that teenage disconnect to the things around him. He's also anxious and selectively mute though, and if he's not with me or in good company, the bratty melts away to shy, quiet, softspokenness. He likes thrillers, romance, and gore-horror manga like Junji Ito. He also has poor depth perception! And! Braces!

Ken is a mediator. He's very down to business and serious. It doesn't mean he's not lighthearted or cheerful, his brain is just Workin! He paces around a lot while he talks. He does not have his favorite books listed.

King is kind of goofy. He's relieved he's "not like the others" 💀 He's an ANP while most of the others are EPs and he takes that win for what it is. I've caught him in his pajamas before and they were these boujee silk, matching white pjs with a K on the breast?? I was like??? Ok goober HAHA! He likes action, mystery, and nonfiction books.

Kuu is extremely anxious and stressed. He often has nausea and cries when he fronts. He has a tendency to think towards self harm, but restrains himself because it's "my" body, not his, and he would hate to hurt "me." He struggles to eat. He likes fairytales and "how to" books. Biographies, books describing places and history, things like that.

Reaper is the stern and aloof one. Kind of mean. Blunt, dry, but with a sense of humor. Very monotone. Is Bossy but Bigger. His patience is short and he has no problems telling you. He was voted "most likely to fuck" in the Kenference and has worn that badge with pride. His blog is Wild. He likes horror/mystery books. Oh he's also built like a barn and for WHAT

Shiro is quiet, cold, and a bit snappy. He's least likely to interact, unless it's to complain (💀) he also struggles the most with craving flesh. We get him red meat and cook it some so he's safe and can kind of curb the hunger Sorta. He likes extreme gore and horror books.

EDIT : We also have The Kids. They stick together most times even if they get snappy with each other. They fight for attention but I can't have one without the other. They're a package deal, if only because neither wants the other to get more than him.

What are your thoughts on serious moments between the bayverse guys and their s/o’s? Everyone talks about the romantic aspects but I wanna know what goes down in an argument, how each one of them handles those typical spousal fights but of course How in the end they make up and come around to one another.

A common source of conflict with Leonardo is his overbearing attitude, stemming from a lifetime of leadership.  He’s always been responsible for making sure his brothers are working towards their full potential and steering them towards their best selves--or what he thinks is their best selves, anyways.  This will absolutely bleed into his relationships.

An S/O familiar with Leonardo’s modus operandi knows he acts the way he does out of love; he only wants to make their life better, which they could definitely have if they just did things his way!  He can get frustrated when he doesn’t understand why they’re not on the same page, and he can sound downright insulting when he’s too worked up to think about how to phrase his argument delicately, but he’s always ready with an apology when he sticks his foot in his mouth.

Leonardo knows he can get caught up in the heat of a debate and come across as harsh, so his apologies are usually neatly written out and delivered with a peace offering.  He’s still trying to adjust to a new, lateral type of relationship, but most arguments can be resolved with a boatload of patience and the gentle reminder that he doesn’t need to completely understand his partner’s feelings to acknowledge their validity.

Raphael’s main conflict is his bad habit of making wildly inaccurate assumptions based on nothing but his own insecurity.  Hanging out with friends?  They must be tired of him.  Needs to reschedule a date?  They’re going to break up with him.  Raphael can get so wrapped up in his own head that he’ll start putting words in his partner’s mouth, and end up starting an argument over nothing.  

Like Leonardo, Raphael needs a significant other willing to be patient with him during a conflict.  Ideally, this would be someone who can keep a calm tone without sounding condescending, who understands when he’s thought himself into a panic and freaked himself out over nothing.  He might even try to verbally--never physically--push his partner away in the hopes that they drop him before he gets too attached.

(He’s already far too attached.)

Making up would likely occur after an argument, far enough out that Raphael has had time to calm down and remind himself to trust his S/O.  Their life doesn’t revolve around him, and if he’s scared of losing them, maybe he should just do something about it instead of sabotaging himself.  He’s typically pretty considerate of his partner’s needs, but he cranks it into overdrive post-argument.  Raphael apologizes with little gifts and acts of service while still giving them space: notes, treats, stuff around their home mysteriously fixed or replaced entirely, the works.

Arguing with Donatello is typically a short-lived experience, because he’d really rather just agree to disagree and call it a day.  Anything that causes a legitimate conflict would have to be something he’s unwilling to compromise on, or a complete misunderstanding.  His poor sense of time might lead to friction--sure, he’s been working on the truck for a few days, but it feels like he just talked to his S/O yesterday!  It’s not that he doesn’t miss them when they’re gone, it’s just that he compartmentalizes to the point of returning to the exact mental state he was in before he fell into a week-long hyperfixation.

Unlike some of his brothers, there’s typically no time between an argument and an apology unless his partner needs time alone to cool down.  Donatello’s main strategy is to immediately identify/brainstorm/solve problems, but this isn’t to say he won’t back off and let his S/O sort themselves out before initiating a conversation.

Donatello’s apologies are by-the-book.  Acknowledgment of the issue, clarification of intent, meaningful “I’m sorry,” and how he proposes avoiding the problem in the future, in that order.  It’s not that he’s trying to be emotionally distant or say what he thinks they want to hear to get it over with, he just wants his S/O to know that he’s taking this seriously.

Michelangelo wants serious arguments to be over before they even begin.  Sure, he’ll fake a divorce over a particularly vicious round of Cards Against Humanity, but that’s pretend beef.  He’s much more likely to just roll over in an actual conflict than risk losing his significant other, even at the expense of his own comfort; not that it comes up particularly often.  He’s never trying to purposely hurt them, and he has absolute faith that they’re not trying to hurt him either--he wouldn’t be dating them if they were!

Sometimes he can be a little too hasty in trying to solve a problem, and he can come across as overbearing if his S/O needs a little time alone to process what’s bothering them.  Michelangelo is fairly good at knowing if something is wrong, but sometimes it’s difficult for him to know exactly what that is without flat-out asking.  He’s been living in an enclosed space with the same few people, same few problems, so it’ll take a little time for him to adjust to a new person with new problems.

Most situations can be resolved by calmly talking it out, because yeah they do love having him over, but leaving his shit all over their room really, really stresses them out.  Michelangelo’s apologies are typically short, sweet, and followed by an earnest effort to avoid a repeat and get back to their usual shenanigans.

Oh my gods there is literally no limit on how many Alcina fanfics I literally adore! (I read too much, at this point I'm starting to think it's an issue lol). But I can recommend a few :))

For one, my all time favourite is Safety by DemonOfPuns, you can find it at this link below! It's a classic for me, and is sooooo well written. For one, I really love how they author wrote Alcina, because they bring out both the softer sides of Alcina (that we love!) while also not forgetting that she is indeed a vampiric countess who can be harsh and cruel. I think they find the perfect balance between canon and fanon Lady D, which makes reading this fic that much more enjoyable :))

Oh! And the author doesn't forget the daughters either. The OC Sasha has a sort of parental bond with them that just makes my heart warmmmm 🥺🥺

Lastly, I really adore the fact that the author includes a lot of issues that are present in society today. The main character, Sasha, is nonbinary, and the author writes into the story the struggles of being enby, or even queer regardless of whether it is in a village stuck in time or in modern cities that exist today. It's a story of struggles and acceptance, hurt and comfort, love (and smut!) and everything perfect all enclosed in one fic :)) Find it here!

Another one of my favourites is I'll Make You Sing by tabtab317, also on AO3. This is a modern AU where Alcina is a choir professor at University and with one thing leading to another, you end up becoming one of her students (and more!) along the way :))

This again is a fic that is really well written. I think as a general, AO3 has really well-written things lol. It gives everything that we love about our lovely Lady Dimitrescu, while also placing it in a timeline a tad bit more realistic (as unrealistic as it still is. Please don't get with your professors y'all LMAO). It's spicy, soft, funny, domestic, it's just UGH. So perfect 😆 You can find it here

Alternatively, if you're not the type to like longer fics (like me for a while if I'm being honest, I have the attention span of a literal child sometimes which sucks cause I love reading), a fic with a similar premise as I'll Make You Sing called Retablo by DemonOfPuns is also really good! OH, OH MY GOSH. I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THIS ONE FIC I JUST STARTED READING HHHHH. It's called Prove Your Kindness to Me by AaviNova on AO3, and holy GODS is it spectacular.

I know I've said this a few times, but the writing for this fic is phenomenallll. It has such a flow, and is quite literally a piece of art with the way the author uses words to tell the story.

Its almost fantastical in itself, with witches, vampires, and the lot haha. The buildup is quite similar to fantasy books with lots of world building, but its soooooo beautiful.

It's full of hurt and comfort (which is my favourite trope, I'm not even going to lie), but everything is sooo worth it. I'm not gonna give away too much because you guys need to check it out, but it is truly a wonderful piece of writing. Here's the link!

If you need a good laugh, I Saw Mama Kiss A Claus always makes me giggle. It's just fluffy domestic times with Alcina and her daughters. I know it's not Christmas but that's okay! Fic!

Finally, not to be that person but I'm gonna self-promote a bit lol. BROOO THE ANIMATION IS FREAKING FIRE I’M NOT EVEN KIDDING. ik it’s an action movie, but everytime a fighting scene comes on it just,, blows my mind. there’s so many things going on but somehow you know where and what to focus on and i think that’s really cool. also the colours?? the vibrancy and everything. i love love LOVE how the fire looks, or when there’s a sad scene and everything turns white and black and grey, or even the fact that everyone has colourful hair XD. even those scenes where the burnish are being used for fuel or when they’re dying/turning to ash/whatever you wanna call it, it all feels so magical. there’s a really special vibe in this movie which is amazing imo

as if this wasn’t obvious, but the storyline!! the plot!!! the characters!!!! everything is PERFECT. the part where galo realised that kray isn’t the hero he always thought he was, or when galo watches the lives of the burnish and realised through lio how terrible their fate is (ik lio said it’s a blessing but it’s kinda sad?? to just be burned up by the fire within yourself), or when aina learns about what heris is really working for.... gosh. this also brings me to my next point

okay i’m a SUCKER for interesting sibling relationships and promare DEFINITELY delivered. even though aina feels like she’s living in the shadow of her sister, she still loves her and it makes me 🥺. also, everything heris does, even if she knows it’s wrong, is all for protecting her sister. you can really see her conflict bc she knows what she’s doing is terrible but it gives aina a chance to be one of the 10,000 people to be on the spaceship, and she struggles between her morals and her sister’s safety. there’s also that badass scene where heris jumps off the building and reappears with aina in the helicopter like ???? okay queens??? go off LMAO. but yes their relationship was wonderfully shown and it’s fantastic

honestly, kray reminds me of lysandre from pokémon xyz lol. he has this mentality that if someone doesn’t do something, the earth is gonna explode or whatever and everyone will die and he takes it upon himself to do it. ig he kinda sees himself as the hero?? (which we al know is wrong but whatever). and when he was revealed to be a burnish and he tries getting lio to join him by saying how he understands the feeling of wanting to burn the world down? or that he only saved galo as an excuse to build up his reputation? and then sent galo to be a firefighter bc it had the highest mortality rate?? he’s a terrible guy BUT he makes for a perfect villain and i’m here for it

okay tbh i really wish we could’ve gotten more of the burning rescue team. esp lucia!! she’s probably one of my favourites out of the team, alongside varys. she’s got this crazy science kid vibe and vinny (the lil mouse that’s always with her) makes it twenty times better. but anyway, i love how each of the characters have their own quirks and personalities and i really wish we could’ve gotten more of them

as tragic as their lives were, i think it’s super cool how they all lent their power to make the core explode LOL that’s probably one of my favourite scenes in the movie. also lio’s generals? when they held back the ice just to send lio to the volcano in an attempt to protect him... 🥺 and the line ‘forget about us! the burnish's flame won't fade as long as you live!’ oh my GOD. RIGHT IN THE FEELS

| the humour

when lio captures galo and galo witnesses the life of the burnish and galo’s like ‘y’all eat???’ i have never laughed harder. lio’s FACE omg. or anytime someone jabs and insults the other,,, lio’s just like ‘you’re an idiot’ half the time and galo’s like ‘:((‘ LMAO. or the names of all the inventions and robots? it’s so silly but it really gives a breath of fresh air to the movie!! even if you don’t like romance/action, i’d 100% recommend it simply for the comedy

alright, saving the best for last XD. there’s just,, so much i love about them? pushing the romance aside first, the way they work together is FANTASTIC. they’re both kinda reckless, but their fighting styles complement each other so much!! and when galo stuck their names together LMAO he’s so silly and lio knows it. they’ve got the same beliefs despite being on opposite sides (at first) and oh my god even the fist bump at the end was so CUTE what a bunch of dorks. 

romance wise, you’re lying if you say you don’t ship these two even just a little bit. throughout the WHOLE movie, even their first interaction where they’re just heavily glaring at each other,, the TENSION these two have omfg. lio figures out that galo really doesn’t know anything about kray and so he’s just like ‘i’m about to ruin your life sorry bro’ and galo is SHOOK but straight after that he’s like ‘the burnish. aren’t bad people?’ he’s seen the tragedy of them, even when lio attempts the burnish cpr thing and it fails and he just watched while the ash... fades. AND THEN HE DOES IT TO LIO AHAHAHAHA. but also, the way they work together is fan-freaking-tastic i said it already but i’ll say it again they COMPLEMENT each other so WELL. 

there’s also the part where lio’s flames protected galo and MY HEART... i think i uwued on the spot. to put in simple terms:

galo: doesn’t die

galo: lol actually my boyfriend gave me his flames to protect me so i won’t scorch to death and he’s also being burned from the inside so brb while i eat the flame he gave me and give it back to him through cpr kissing. yeah bye

After that I blocked them and decided to cut them from my life. They like to guilt me over little things to make me feel like shit and I got sick of it. The grey/blue tones of this scene set the mood perfectly, paired by the expressions and amazing acting. Here we have a father and son that haven't spoken in decades. There's gonna be tension, there's gonna be a bite in their tones, especially given the circumstances. No smiles, unless you count Billy's halfway smirk and Andy's sarcastic laughing. I adore how it was portrayed because I imagine it was pretty realistic.

No hate BUT I still feel like Laurie could have told Andy about her encounter with the reporter. Even if theres nothing that could have been done, it would have still been a good idea to brace him for the article's release. He shouldn't have had to find out about it via Joanna shoving the magazine towards him. I ain't saying her lie was as bad as his but...it still happened. And meeting a reporter, even if she was ambushed, is a big deal. Who knows what was said and done and what could be twisted?

Laurie is going down a dark path though, so who knows what else her mind is gonna do to her.

I spoke a little about the cutter p*rn here but real talk, Andy's response shouldn't have been to take Jacob fishing. Even if he deleted it from his search, he still found out and still investigated for himself. So why not confront him? Like I said, it may or may not be a big deal. 

I been through this before but...Andy Barber is a good fucking dad. To a fault, maybe, but he loves his kid so damn much and that's heart warming to see-in their more casual moments of course, not when hes making these dumbass moves lmao. I know damn near any parent would want to take their kid's place, and Andy said so. Even if he can't actually do that, hes still willing to put himself in danger if it means protecting his kid.

Andy's face when Laurie told him he has Billy's eyes said a lot. He doesn't wanna hear the similarities between him and that man. Not given their relationship (or lack thereof) or the way they last encounter went. Also, similarities between them could directly mean similarities between Billy and Jacob, which is exactly what they're trying to avoid. I made fun of the murder gene I know, but they could still be concerned with it.

Ok, here we go kiddos.

Evan is so sweet. and soft. and he believes that being with you makes him a better person in every way. You make him feel so happy and you make him feel beautiful and valued and you listen to him and he feels like he can trust you with everything. He does everything in his power to make you happy.

His favourite place to have date nights with you is on the beach?? or at the orchard or the park or something. He prefers to go to the beach at night time when it’s very quiet and the sun is setting and you can sit on the sand and not care about anybody seeing you because the place is so empty! He likes sitting in the sand with you and smooching you and maybe y'all go get ice cream (even tho it’s almost nighttime) and you take your shoes and socks off and go dip your feet into the water. it usually ends in splashing each other and laughing and giggling and evan is so so happy when he gets to spend time with u like this. Also, when u go to the beach - he loves to find nice shells and take them home because he wants to collect them!! idk why,,, he just thinks they’re very pretty.

Whenever u go to the orchard or the park or something like that,, you n him will walk for a while, holding hands and he’ll point out all the ‘coolest trees’ and tell you stuff about them !! and it’s the cutest thing ever !! he really will just rant about how good trees are and how their leaves are all different and stuff like that. You and him sit on the grass for a while and just lie next to eachother and maybe play that game where you say what the clouds are shaped like ?? idk what it’s called - but evan loves it.

He has an Instagram - but before you started dating him he only had two photos on it. One of him and his mom and another of him getting his cast put on. After you start dating, he uploads a lot more. Not just pictures of you etc but he uploads photos of trees, of his mom, of himself! He’ll also upload videos or boomerangs of him walking through forests or whatever,,, and of course there are lots of photos of him holding your hand, or of you kissing his cheek, or just pictures of you that he captions ‘😇❤️’ He starts uploading a lot more because he learns how to use it properly from you and he feels a lot happier and does a lot more things after u start dating so he is able to upload more pictures if that makes sense.

Heidi adores you. I mean adores you. She has your phone number !! And she’ll text to sometimes saying ’Just made spaghetti! Feel free to come over for dinner if you’d like!! :-) ’ oh my god she’s so cute. Also, there’s times where Evan will come back from Jared’s or something and you’ll be standing in his kitchen baking cookies with heidi before she goes to work and he’s like ??? ok ??

ok so,, i feel like evan has a little scrapbook or something. Heidi bought him a polaroid camera for his last birthday and he found an empty scrapbook under his bed from years ago and his goal is to fill it up by the end of the year with things that make him happy. (His therapist said that this can help ease his mind and distract him if he’s feeling down)! so !! He has photos of you, photos of you and heidi, photos of him and you, photos of jared and zoe and alana and connor, photos of trees, a random cat he saw all alone in the street, he has photos of heidi making dinner, he has pictures his hand holding yours and stuff like that stuck down in this scrapbook. He looks at it whenever he’s sad or scared or having a bad night. He will always smile when he looks at his little book!!

Once when you’re doing your homework- you got a facetime call from evan and when you answered it he looked so happy and his nose was crinkling and !! he was so happy!! and he asked you if he could come over and you were like !! ok!! and when he arrived he practically tackled you onto your bed and started cuddling you immediately and you were like ?? what’s going on !!!! Turns out he was just happy that you love him as much as he loves you and he just wanted you to hold him. lmao

!!!!! u and evan always go to zoe’s jazz band concerts!!! and ur sweet boy loves it !!! he loves the music and he bounces in his seat while watching it and his little leg starts to jiggle and he sways a lil without even realising it !!! and it’s so cute because he genuinely loves this music !! he sometimes records their performances on his phone and uploads them to instagram or just watches them whenever he feels like it !! oh my god !!!!! it makes me giddy just thinking about this

i can imagine evan dancing to the music like that video of ben platt dancing with his wine glass… u know the one…. he looks so so happy… kinda like that but a bit less because he’s evan and he’s shy™

Ok you’ve probably heard me talk about this before but i will not live this headcanon down. Evan sits on your lap. He loves to just straddle you (not in a sexy way at all) he just thinks that it’s really comfortable and it makes him feel really nice and happy and he just loves to sit there.

Sometimes you’ll be in his bedroom studying, and he stands up to go get something but then he just turns around and walks over to u and kinda gives you the eyes™ and u smile at him and then he knows it’s okay to sit on ur lap. He just kinda…..slides…into your lap and shoves his head into your neck and his arms wrap around your shoulders and you pull him real close and oh my god your boy loves it. He goes bright bright red when he does it and sometimes if he’s feeling a lil tiny bit confident… he kiss ur cheek or ur neck (like one tiny smooch) !!!!!! and hnNnNnNnNg this is my favourite headcanon for him tbh.

He’s a lot more calm around u. Like of course he’s still very nervous and quiet at times because anxiety isn’t something that just goes away - but he’s able to be more relaxed around you because you make him feel so safe ?? and you’re so kind to him and you don’t rush him when he’s struggling to get the words out you just listen and you snuggle with him when he needs it and he loves you so much.

the boy can sing. he has a pOWERhoUse VoIce i mean it’s ben platt were talking about here!! Once you caught him singing,,, and he was really going for it,,,, he was singing his little heart out and he was so In The Zone he didn’t know you were there and when he saw you he was like !! oh no !! and started rambling and turned beet red and he….he was actually nearly crying he was so embarrassed but you just grabbed him by the shoulders and told him it was ok,,,, no evan i didn’t record u singing,,,, no evan i won’t tell jared,,,, no evan i didn’t think u were awful,,, evan nO

he tells u that he really enjoys singing,,, but he obviously wouldn’t do it in front of anyone,,, so he learns how to play piano and if you’re lucky….. sometimes when u go to his house he’ll play piano and sing for you. (only if u promise to not look at him)

There’s not really many nicknames tbh… it’s not a bad thing y'all have just never discussed pet names or anything… u kinda just call eachother by your names or sometimes u call evan ‘ev’! but,,, on rare occasions evan will call u babe. (only sometimes) and once you called him ‘gorgeous’ and he was. silent. he froze. and was bright red and almost crying because he loved it so much. so sometimes u say stuff like “i’ll see you later, gorgeous” and he’s. a goner. he almost whimpers and he’s like omg i love when u call me that.

he texts u every night just making sure you’re okay. and if he can’t get to sleep because his moms not home and he’s a little uncomfortable in the house by himself - you’ll come over or else he’ll facetime you and he just talks to you for a few hours and he’s constantly apologising for keeping u awake on a school night but you don’t care. he needs u and you’ll b there

i think he enjoys baking,,, him and heidi used to do it a lot but then she started working a lot more and she just doesn’t have the time for it now so he just kinda forgot about it

the secret to calming him down after a bad panic attack: read to him. Read him a book, or an article from a magazine, or just something that see on ur phone while runnin your hand through his hair and letting him sit on your lap and hide his face in your shoulders. (ps if the whole ‘having evan sit in ur lap’ thing makes u uncomfortable,,, then tell him and he will back off) He likes to listen to ur soft voice and the way ur talking is really nice and calming and he needs u right now to distract him from all of his thoughts etc.

also,,, he likes to doodle on ur hands with lil colourful gel pens that he found in his bedroom,,, he draws smiley faces and stars and flowers and trees all over ur hand (if u let him !!) and he giggles while he does it because he feels a lot better than he did 10 mins ago and he’s sitting there giggling with big red puffy eyes from crying :-(( and he looks so cute :-’(

at school, u two don’t like to show too much affection bc jared and connor will tease u endlessly, so he holds ur hand underneath the lunch table,, and smooches u if ur alone in the library or smth,, and its actually quite sweet?? ur relationship is v cute and private and special and :)))) u love him.

when prom finally comes around,, despite what people might think,, evan is actually excited,, because zoe’s band is going to perform !! and his friends will be there and it will be a good night. so…. on the night….he’s wearing a dark navy suit, with a lil tiny yellow flower poking out of the pocket (heidi put that there) and his hair looks nice n curly,,, and he’s blushing because ?? he feels confident for once ?? he likes how he looks ?? and he can’t wait to see you ohmhykdosbaiab

u come to his house and when he sees u he like. has to stop and recollect himself because you look so unbelievably beautiful and ur here with him and ur dating him and he is so confused as to what he did to deserve it…. and he just takes a deep breath and walks towards u and gives u a big ol smooch and mumbles that he loves you against ur lips and !!! ughhhhh!!!

heidi took a picture of it happening and also took a whole load of pictures of u and evan in her driveway and posted them to facebook and wrote a nice paragraph about how happy she is that ur a part of her and evans lives and !!! eeekk !!!

the whole night was spent with ur friends and u did a little bit of dancing with your whole squad (after zoe’s band had finished performing) and after a few hours,,, u guys were like,,, hmmmm let’s go somewhere else. so you all went to a random field and sat there in your fancy prom outfits at like midnight just laughing and having a great time and it was the happiest you’d been in ages.

he loves you. so so so much. pls love him and treat him well.

Two Weird Dreams I had

So I was watching some zambie vids last night, before going to bed mind you, and when I finally went to sleep I started dreaming, I was in like a weird safe room and I could hear groans and gurgles coming from outside along with a few screams. Suddenly silence filled the air, well aside from some really quiet groans of course, I looked around noticing there was nowhere to run or hide so I stayed tucked away in a corner with a blanket over me. Finally, the door came crashing down, revealing... ....Oh, its just Robbie. Oh that makes everything so much better, mhm, wait-- he has blood on him and other gross things, nvm Imma just stay hidden lmao. He IS a zombie after all, sometimes instincts get the better of him I guess, so he began awkwardly shuffling around ...however he seemed calm now, he let out a few gurgles and groans as he drew closer to the corner. Yeah, hiding behind a blanket is a good option, oh wait is he coming closer? SHIT... He finally stopped when he was right in front of me, he just kinda stood there for a few moments before reaching out and poking the blanket curiously. Knowing my dream self, they were just like 'EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHH!' which of course made Robbo flinch cause loud noises. So, I of course had no choice now, I lowered the blanket a little bit just so I could see his face, he was just staring down at me ....rather confused while I just cowered in the corner, I mean I knew it was Robbie but he's a zombie that has blood on him and you just heard screams so hey, wouldn't you be frightened too? Anyways, Robbie knelt down the best he could and just stared into my eyes for a few moments.... no, this is not going where y'all think -.- but he then reached out a hand which I of course flinched at, gasping loudly when he touched my cheek. Just like uhh, Robbie- what'cha doing thereeee? How bout ya dont eat my flesh or anything, if your that bad hungry I can make food? Ahaa, *cough* He pretty much just kept his hand there for a few moments, some blood getting onto my cheek, he then leaned forwards-- why is this sounding like its going EXACTLY where y'all and I alike think its going...? Anyways, I was just like 'shit shit shit shit' over and over, but he kinda just... laid his head down on my stomach, and nuzzled into it. Must be reaalllll awkward having a zombie lay down on ya, at that point I didn't know much of what to do, I couldn't move cause everytime I tried he''d growl a little and just hold onto me tighter, I gave up after awhile and just petted his head, who knew zombies could be so cute? I've had a dream bout him actually doing something bad to me before but that's too gory for details, so not going there. I finally woke up around ...well I dunno honestly it was early enough that m mom wasn't up so then I drifted off back to sleep... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I should probably mention honestly... Okay so I was watching some clips of 'IT' as well but I guess the whole zombies thing decided to pop in first?? Now guess who popped up? Oh would'cha look at that? It's Mr. I love Attention aka Antisepticeye now this dream was weirder, like super fucking weird, at first it was well... as NORMAL as it COULD be but then suddenly, Anti started.... flirting? Now, being myself I was just sitting there with a red face, just kinda glaring at him with some stuff he said (not telling what he actually said) so finally I was just like 'Okay fuck this' and just casually began walking away, this is when the dream was about to take a horror-esque turn... Apparently, Anti did NOT like the fact I waltzed away from him like that so he followed me. We were both walking, Anti was walking rather close behind but not saying anything, when I noticed him basically stalking me I was nervous and began to speed up my walks just a little bit, happy I created distance between us, but when I glanced behind me I saw him pull out something from his pocket, that was when I knew... It was time to run. I began running and he did as well, calling out to me creepy things like 'I'm gonna get'cha' or just a lotta threats, so I began running down these dark corridors, when I came to three of them, they honestly looked like dark hallways, but I decided to pick the middle one but apparently that was the wrong choice, as it was a dead end. I should probably clarify this honestly, yes the corridors were dark and such but not COMPLETELY pitch black, I could still see a lil bit n such. Anti was slowly approaching, I could hear him scraping his knife against the wall, it sounded like nails on a chalkboard which made me fall to my knees and cover my ears, cause those types of noises drive me insane. Once he got close enough, I finally stood up, looking him directly in the eyes, which of course must've been a mistake, before I knew it he pinned me to the wall, cackling as I began to struggle, he just placed his knife against my throat finally. He then began muttering 'You'll Glitch Too' then he spoke it even louder, it finally turned into full on echoing yells of 'YOU'LL GLITCH TOO, YOU'LL GLITCH TOO, YOU'LL... GLITCH... T O O .' and when he had dragged the knife across my neck rather fastly that's when I woke up with a terrified look. So now kids, this is where you learn not to watch scary things that can affect ya dreams before bed, but now his words of 'You'll Glitch Too...' are stuck in my head, thanks Mr. Attention Whore-- *coughs* ok m done here, peace!
