THE FIRST FANART OF ME<333

At times, I always wonder if I'm going anywhere with where I am now. But then things like this happen, and I'm reminded of a line from a speech at my graduation. "Malayo ka pa, pero malayo ka na" "You're still far from your destination, but look at how far you've come." And I look back at where I was one month ago. Writing poems hidden in my drawer, taking pictures no one will ever see, keeping sketches hidden in my sketchbook- But now, I've come so far. I'm eternally grateful for all you guys' support. You have all watched me grow as a person. Thank you for staying and for always being there. This is Steyrine Spieon. Thanking everyone for sticking with me.

Went to photograph a small car show today and was asked by two separate people including the event organizer for my insta so they could see my photos so that was cool

But man it was just one hour and now I can barely walk and my hands ache😭

hi!! i am trying to earnestly post here more; and it occurs to me that it's been a while since i've introduced myself! my name is jess and i am a trans artist backpacking in aotearoa with my partner.

i have been a photographer for 8 years now; focussing mostly on subjective documentary work (and mainly shooting on film). additionally, i am an illustrator focussing on tattoo designs as well as blackwork pieces! while backpacking i have started making zines out of the pamphlets and various paper trash i find. additionally, i am working on publishing a book of poems; and have a background in painting and fiber crafts.

this blog is mostly aesthetics and other art that influences my work or inspires me (posted from original creators accounts, and usually with the original artist in the tags so you can follow other great artists); but my art is often mixed in. if you like what you see, or if you feel like lending a hand to a little backpacker trying their best to make cool shit, give me a follow :) additionally, you can always find me at ko-fi.com/pocketsfullofstars for commissions, prints, etc.
