hey everyone - i know there’s a lot going on in the world right now, a lot of causes that need support and visibility now more than ever.

i’d like to take an opportunity to highlight a cause that’s very literally close to home for me: i live very, very close to springfield, ohio. the haitian community there has always needed help and support but now, with white supremacist rhetoric and bold faced lies being circulated nationally, with threats of violence and heightened ignorance being more common than ever, they need it perhaps more than they ever have.

there has been a lot of hate since trump and his little bootlicker attack dog jd vance have started this shit, but there’s also been an outpouring of love and community outreach in the weeks since springfield was thrust into the worst kind of spotlight.

the hatian community support and help center has been invaluable in helping hatian refugees get what they need to start a new life here. they are headed by a team of haitian immigrants that are personally familiar with what their fellow immigrants need. they have been instrumental in keeping their community from falling through the cracks.

i’m humbly asking, if any of you can - please, please consider donating to the HCSHC. every bit helps. and if you can’t donate, please, please share this around. if you’ve ever reblogged one of my posts or found them funny, if you’ve ever scrolled through and liked and reblogged what i’ve put here, i implore you to share this too. this is a very personal cause for me; i want to see these people who are new here, who enrich our community but are met with too much derision and spite, receive the help, respect, and dignity they deserve.

Hey all! So, if you've been following me for any amount of time, you probably are already familiar with recent life events, and how badly American Airlines (fuck you) has screwed me over in making me have to leave my sweet little tabby cat, Bumper, home with my family in the states.

@territorial-utopia and I have been looking into pet travel services, because once I apply for a residency visa, I can't travel, and I can't really depend on my family to lend a hand in helping bring my cat here...

sorry if this is super passive aggressive sounding or ranty but As open as this community seems some of you are so misogynistic Like wlw and mlw selfships , if the self insert is a woman or fem presenting some of you people freak out , or if the f/o is a woman or fem presenting ! also I noticed that wlw selfshippers just dont get as much attention as mlm or mlw in general and I think we all know why lol . im not an wlw selfshipper but my closest friends are and I honestly hate seeing my selfship get more attention than theirs when their art , lore and writing has so much more effort put into it ? but its ignored because its a wlw selfship like way to go guys .

OC-tober Day 2: New OC

Tess isn't really a new OC, but, to be fair, (1) she got a significant redesign, (2) I've never posted art of her, and (3) she and Robert are kind of a package deal, and Robert is my most recent OC I think 🤔 so I wanted to post them together. "An update from Abdul, they are getting kicked out of the camp: Hello our dear Donors I'm so sad to inform you that today we have had a meeting with the unhcr officials and they have clearly told us that they don't want to see any lgbtqi member within refugee camp and as we all know that South Sudan doesn't support the lgbtqi practice so I am here to seek advocacy.

that you may be having some means or organizations that can really appeal to the European Union, or any other support avenues that can really help us out through this hard phase of our lives. as you all know that we moved from Kenya to South Sudan because the Kenyan government criminalized the lgbtq practice and as well now the South Sudan government has criminalized the lgbtqi practice. they have given us a maximum or minimum of 10 days to evacuate this place and we are really in danger.

we wish for you to intervene through advocacy and sharing this with your local organizations, so that you may help to save our lives. we are about 500 lgbtq refugees living in Grand refugee camp and we really have nowhere and no hope. we can't move out of this camp. the peace agreement that was signed in 2018 to stop the war that was going between the South Sudan government and the opposition leaders expired last month on the 25th of February, and right now the only way that we are to be supported is by advocacy.

in case you have any other means and you would wish to support us you can do so by donating to our GoFundMe fundraiser to help us get some money to continue helping us to buy food medicine and other basic needs like the sanitary part for the lesbians. without these items we are fully at risk as we don't have any other means as Donald Trump as clearly stated that he can't allow the lgbtqi refugees or any other refugees from South Sudan to cross onto his territory.
