I had an intense experience with these cards this morning. I was experiencing some heavy anxiety and was on the verge of crying, but don't ask me why because I couldn't tell you. I turned to my cards for help with that moment, pulled Queen of Cups, and felt like she was telling me to sit in my feelings for a bit. I have trouble doing that so I followed up asking what could be done in that moment. I got Six of Cups and the short version of my interpretation is: be kind to yourself. I closed my eyes, and the memory of what I now know was a traumatic experience, flooded my mind. I started to cry and visualized my adult self comforting my younger self in that situation. I don't think that trauma is resolved by any means, but it was therapeutic and my moment of anxiety passed. Really didn't expect that something so deep would come up. I don't remember a trigger of any kind and will probably need to dig a little when I'm ready. A little tarot exercise to amplify your intuition! Let's see what's blocking our inner eye.

The High Priestess is all about tuning in to our intuition. For this exercise, set the following intention for this reading with the prompts below before shuffling. Then shuffle the tarot deck thoroughly and flip the deck over so that the card images are facing you. Find The High Priestess card. The card below it (before it) will reveal what’s blocking your intuition. The card on top (after it) will show you how to tune into your intuition on a deeper level. Or if you prefer, you can pull out The High Priestess card and pull a card for each of these prompts to make a 3 card spread with The High Priestess as the middle card.
