Character Tgs NOTE: The following is a list of female character TGs i've done that no one else except for a few people have done, this is also a full-list of them to be exact despite the meme only having 10 characters on it.

May Day (A View To A Kill). Yeah, i'm definitely the first person to do TGs of someone into Grace Jones. I did one of someone turning into May-Day, Katrina and yes into Grace herself.

Selene (Underworld series)

Edna Turnblad (Hairspray). Considering Edna is played by a man in the musical and also in the movie as a nod to Divine who played her in the 1988 movie, i'm surprised nobody else has tackled doing Edna as a TG before. Especially since weight gain stories are quite popular on here.

Santanico Pandemonium (From Dusk Till Dawn). I've seen two Salma Hayek tgs by others mostly into Salma herself - I did a Salma Hayek tg as well, but not into Santanico which is a shame because she's one of the most iconic female characters in horror history and after quite a while of waiting to do one, I worked on one of my own.

Maleficent (Maleficent). I've seen a few Angelina Jolie tgs but one of them was a caption and the other was into Lara Croft, so I decided to change that with my little tg of someone into Maleficent from the Disney movie of the same name - I was influenced by the Snickers "You're Not You When You're Hungry" campaign and the commercials to do that since the commercials have had tgs of some kind in them - both female to male and male to female.

Carrie White (Carrie). I'm definitely the first to go a TG of someone into a Stephen King character. No one has done a Carrie related TG before? That's surprising. Because I figured that at least someone would have done one based on Carrie considering well…let's face it, a lot of us can relate to the character and all.

Annie Wilkes (Misery). It's kind of funny to me how most people when doing TGs usually go for the younger and more attractive actresses as subjects to tg into or into singers like Katy Perry or Lady Gaga and yet there is one actresses who should have at least a couple of TGs by now - and that actresses is Kathy Bates. Especially of someone into Annie Wilkes from Misery. Unlike most Stephen King novels or movies based on them, Misery has no supernatural elements and the main villain isn't a creature of the night but rather someone very real that could exist in real life as well, because there are people out there - there are lots of obsessed fanbases out there who are a little bit scrambled in the head when it comes to their sanity - take Team CoCo for instance, talk about holding a grudge - they still hate Jay Leno even to this day even though he did nothing wrong and still think of O'Brien as the poor victim, and also the Russell Brand fanbase and how they worship Russell like he's a demigod and call you out if you argue with them or disagree with anything he says. Annie Wilkes is no big bad monster from the depths of a dark hell-like dimension, she's pretty much someone who could exist in real life. I'm the first to do TGs of someone into Kathy Bates and characters she's played including ones into Annie - which is extremely surprising. It's surprising and shocking no one has done an Annie Wilkes tg before considering stalking and stalkers in general are both very real.

Lillith (Bordello Of Blood). Following the Lee tg I did, I decided to do a TG that had characters from the movie in it making an appearance at the end and that's what I did with my TG of someone into Lillith from Bordello Of Blood, in part 3 of my 'Hexed' story saga there is a tg of someone into Angie Everhart - I plan on doing a full Angie Everhart tg soon along with continuing the Angelina Jolie one I have been working on as well.

Julie Walker (Return Of The Living Dead III). I had been meaning to do a zombie related TG for a while to coincide with the 'zombie craze', so I did a tg of someone turning into Julie from the third Return Of The Living Dead movie. Of course I also intend on continuing on my 'Attack Of The Zombie Minionettes' TG which is going to be a tf/tg story combo paying homage to zombie movies and From Dusk Till Dawn as well as poking fun of the popularity of the Minions (yes, those Minions) and how some people really seem to hate them - the Minionettes are female anthro Minions. I plan on doing the Trash tg as well.

Irena (Cat People 1982)

Jun/Unknown (Tekken Tag and Tekken Tag 2).

Akivasha (Kull The Conqueror). I'm definitely the first to do a Tia Carrere tg of some kind considering no one else has done one, I planned on doing a TG of someone into Cassandra but that never fell through, so I decided to do Akivasha from Kull The Conqueror instead and yes - in part 5 of the Hexed storyline there is a TG into Tia Carrere, and there is a full on Tia Carrere tg I've also written (I plan on doing the sequel involving my character becoming Christopher Walken).

Okay but although the episode had some MAJOR flaws can we please talk about Sunfyre and Aegon because his SMILE when he saw his dragon I can't

Don't mind me and my table flipping and my shattered hopes.

Look, I had one wishlist item: To start the season with a mirror of the Rhaenyra and Syrax flight with Aegon and Sunfyre. It would have been a fantastic re-introduction to the character, show their bond, show that out of everything that Aegon fucks up at/struggles with/deals with hating him, there is one unconditional love in his life, and that is the bond between him and his dragon.

Condal wants to go on about how the Sunfyre thing was TG propaganda and I ask: why? There is no reason for it. This is a family war that decimates the realm, and I appreciate the show doing the Rhaenys and Aegon both hugging and smiling and clinging to their dragons but god. WE DESERVED MORE.

Aegon was denied a cradle egg, he was denied the trappings of what is the role of a first born son in this society. He went and claimed Sunfyre, the literal sun in Aegon's life. The one who does not seek to make him a puppet, to put him in the crosshairs of his sister, how accepts Aegon, unconditionally, and shares a bond with him that the records say was unparalleled.

Yeah, sure, fine, call it propaganda, but why does it have to be made up? What's the harm? What's wrong with, if you're stripping everything else from Aegon's character per the record, that he can't, at least, have this one thing? Why can't we show that, much how Rhaenyra and Syrax have a bond, that Aegon and his dragon do too.

Rhaenyra doesn't address Aegon as her brother. It's Alicent's Son, but is it not more compelling, tragic, fraught, that they're both dragonriders with good bonds with their dragons? That it hints to the fact that one does not need to be purely Valyrian to have a bond with a dragon - because I'm pointing to Jace/Vermax and Luke/Arrax, who are both Half Valyrian themselves.

one of the first things I wrote in Oct of 2022 was Aegon and Sunfyre for my fic. That was the core in me discovering Aegon's character. This fuck up messy idjit and his bond, his love, his tie with Sunfyre the Golden. And so the thirty seconds we get where Sunfyre comes in and senses his rider's distress, and nuzzles him (I WROTE THAT I WROTE THAT EXACT EXCHANGE AAAH VINDICATION) and Aegon embraces him. The smile on his face.

Sunfyre loves me. Sunfyre chose me. Sunfyre found me worthy as his first rider. Sunfyre, nestled warm and safe in his chest. Better than anything else he seeks to fill the gaping holes inside him as his mother claws out everything in him.

Sunfyre doesn't find him a nuisance. Sunfyre doesn't find him an issue. Sunfyre doesn't seek to shove him in a dark corner to be forgotten about until they need him.

Sunfyre accepts him, loves him, for him.

Devlog #7 - Tokyos and Game Shows

Hello everyone! Welcome to this month’s devlog! If you just stumbled upon this, I am Adrienne, also known as insertdisc5! I’m the developer, writer, artist, main programmer, etc of the game. The game being In Stars and Time, which is the next and final game in the START AGAIN series, following START AGAIN: a prologue (available here!).  You can find out more about In Stars and Time here!!! 

LET’S GET TO IT

In case you didn’t know, this month we announced that In Stars and Time will be coming to Nintendo Switch, as well as showed off a brand new trailer!!! Did you see it? Did you see it. It’s such a good trailer. Watch it again.

And in case you didn’t know (second edition), In Stars and Time had a booth at the Tokyo Game Show! And I got to be there, along with Gabrielle, the Release Manager from Armor Games Studio! AND I GOT TO SEE PEOPLE PLAY THE DEMO RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY VERY EYES!!!! It was such a surreal experience, and so validating too… Feedback has been very positive and I couldn’t be happier! (I also got a lot of compliments on the battle system, which has surprised me??? I’m glad people like the battle system…)

I’d never been to a video game convention before, or to Japan, so I had a lot of new experiences thrown at me very fast! Japan is such a beautiful country (so clean!!!), and I had a wonderful time exploring and looking at the other TGS booths and talking to people… Gabby was here to use her Japanese language mastery to show off the demo, but thankfully I also learned the key words to survive and be able to explain my game in Japanese: “time loop RPG” to explain the concept, and “Jankenpon” (Rock-Paper-Scissors) to describe the battle system! Sometimes that’s all you need!!!

Thank you to everyone that played the demo, and passed by the booth!!! The demo will be available for the whole month of October still, so you should play it while it’s still up!

As for development, it is going well! The game having reached alpha last month means it’s time for intense rounds of QA to catch all those nasty little bugs. And localization into Japanese is underway! And!!! Studio Thumpy Puppy finished the soundtrack, and oh my god!!! I cannot wait for everyone to play the game and hear all those amazing tracks!!! So exciting!!!

When I started shipping them:

Back when I first read the manga, when I reached chapters 111 to 113. Man, I was hooked. Their young selves did something irreversible to me lmao, and then Uta hit me with the old tattoo meaning and I was Gone.

It was in 2014, iirc. I started TG when it was over but before :re was published (by the time i was finished, :re was 7 chapters in, very precisely xD i remember bc it's the chapter Nishiki calls Haise Kaneki)

My thoughts:

I've talked about this extensively in the past but yeah their friendship is insanely important to me. The way they go on about "you're my friend" it makes me bonkers. They are the definition of what relationships should be, in my book. Friendship first and foremost and above all, for better or worse. They are The QPP™. Absolutely legendary. First ship to make me so gone. I often say Percabeth was my first OTP but nothing consumed me quite like Utaren did before they did. They're my OTQP? I guess? xD

What makes me happy about them:

Yeah, their friendship. How ride or die they are about each other. Able to rip each other to shreds but will also risk their lives to save the other. How accepting Renji is of Uta's clownship (before it threatens Touka lmao). The unconditional love. The brutality of it.

What makes me sad about them:

"Nec possum tecum uiuere nec sine te". doesn't make me sad per se but ouch anyway. The abandonment Uta felt when Renji left. The intricate knowledge Uta has that he can't be by his side but they can't be apart either - to the point of getting it tattooed. On his fucking neck.

Help.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me:

Making it sexual. I don't read much TG fanfics these days (or at least not new ones. i reread my favs instead) so idk what's the trend regarding them but back then I never liked them smut. Feels unnatural.

Also once I read a fic in which one said "ily" to the other (they were in a relationship already) and the other got up and left and they broke up??? What's up with that. I genuinely don't get why saying ily to your boyfriend would make him leave?? isn't that why you're dating?? Anyway.

Things I look for in fanfic:

4th ward era. "graphic depiction of violence" is always welcome.

How I feel about this character:

I feel too many things in too much quantity. I feel love, I feel grief, I feel protectiveness, I feel something sink in my stomach and something lift me in the sky. He is my most beloved, my husband, the light of my days. He makes me smile, he makes me oh so happy and he's one of the reasons I cry at night. He is everything to me.

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character:

Langa, of course. Kiriko, also and also of course. Both in the EDEN and Adakiri/LoveMantis way and in the EDENMantis way uwu

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character:

With Tadashi, kink dom/sub relationship, with deep deep devotion on Tadashi's side and slowly recovering trust and friendship.

My unpopular opinion about this character:

Depends on unpopular where. If it's in the entire western sk8 fandom, the unpopular opinion would be ADAM is absolutely amazing both character-wise and person-wise. He's the best and he deserves so much love.

If we're talking ADAM fandom, it would be that He Is Not A Slut. He is the very opposite of that.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

I wish Cherry would apologize to him. I wish he'd managed to kill Reki. I wish we would know more of his past, especially regarding Kiriko. That's three things. Who cares.

Favorite friendship for this character:

With Tadashi, as kids. With Joe and Cherry, as teens. With Langa (and with Kiriko in my dreams), as adults.

My crossover ship:

With Matsuri (TG). I don't exactly ship it and it wouldn't work anyway because they're both doms but it's fun thinking about them meeting and becoming friends.

When I started shipping them: I wanted them both to show up in an Icemav fic and I thought it'd be easier if they were romantic lol.

My thoughts: Literally I love them. The sexual tension (intentional or not) was fire. Their interactions were so juicy and if the writers had a shred of courage they would have kissed post-Dagger mission

What makes me happy about them: They get to be soft together!!

What makes me sad about them: They're probably going to have to deal with residual trauma from the dagger mission :(

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: I don't like slowburns so that annoys me lol, but that's not a dig at anyone. I guess if they're still acting like assholes to each other :P

Things I look for in fanfic: Literally just fluff...or angst with fluff at the end. Love that emotional hurt comfort <3

My wishlist: I mean if we get another movie (Top Gun: Rooster?) then I would love to see their relationship fleshed out more hehe.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I love Roosmav so that would be it. And I don't mind Macheresin or floydsin.

My happily ever after for them: Living in a nice house in San Diego teaching at Top Gun together <3

My unpopular opinion about this character: This is kind of not really about Iceman but I wish they at least mentioned Sarah Kazansky before Maverick meets her at the house because it kinda feels like she was just thrown in there to shut up the icemav girlies :|

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Honestly I wish we saw more of him, but I guess Val only wanted to be there for that long...I'm glad we got him anyway!

Since I came into the fandom late, after Rebirth, I actually don't know what TGS is. I keep hearing that FF-related news or announcements are made at TGS, like Rebirth's title was apparently announced at TGS in 2022, but... I don't know what TGS is 😓 Can you help explain? 🙏🏻

It's just a game showcase. There's tgs, goty and state of play. Tgs is the game show, gott is the game awards and state of play is playstation's showcase. They're different times of year and show trailers for games in development. The next one is the game awards unless there's a state of play in September. You can follow the accounts on YouTube. I usually get a couple wishlist games from them, so they're pretty good but you shouldn't expect anything for ff7r for at least a year. Even then it'll probably just be a short teaser to reveal the subtitle.

Candle Knight to bring platforming and puzzles to Linux

Candle Knight metroidvania adventure platformer game is due to get a Linux port after the Windows PC launch. Thanks to further details from developer Dracma Studios. Working to find its way onto Steam. The 2.5D action-adventure Candle Knight was due to release in January 2023. But does offer a playable demo via Proton. Where players have to wield a flame to overcome creatures lurking in the shadows of a ruined castle. You will also use the dynamic difficulty system to your advantage. Take on the challenging platforming sections and solve cryptic puzzles in surreal paintings. A 2.5D metroidvania adventure platformer game that will test you on Linux.

Yes, we plan to add Linux support after the game's launch, thanks for asking!

This is the reply from Dracma Studios on Steam. While this is good news for Candle Knight, which is developed in Unreal Engine 4. We still don't have a release date locked down yet, just sometime in Spring 2023. Still, it's a pleasure to see Linux in the plans.

Plus I'm curious to see if the gameplay will be on par with Hollow Knight. While we’re waiting for Candle Knight to be released, you can Wishlist the game on Steam. Due to make its way onto Windows PC, then a Linux port. But be sure to try the demo on Proton.

Job hunting update

I have officially been 100% unproductive at the library today. I think my brain just wants to check out. The whole out of sight out of mind concept. i bet it's a combo of mental avoidance and anxiety and EFD. Like, all of them mashed into one.I need to set up another date with a friend of mine so I can actually stay on track and be productive with job hunting.Like, I literally cannot be an adult because I still need a babysitter to get stuff done- vital stuff.
