Another cute percabeth headcanon.

Their wedding is huge. Absolutely massive. It has to be, to accommodate three different pantheons (four, if you count the Romans as separate, three and a half if we want to average) because they're absolutely inviting Magnus and co and the Kanes, and of course all of the Olympians are invited to the wedding of the *Saviors of Olympus*. It takes a year to plan and Annabeth plans it to a t.

And then the day of, things start to go wrong. The flowers are wrong, the cake is late. Little things. Hera promised not to interfere, and she won't, not with the marriage itself, but she's petty.

Annabeth starts to freak out.

And then Percy, ignoring all the traditions of not seeing her in her dress before the wedding, takes her out to a secluded area. In true sitcom romantic comedy style, they have their own private vows. Grover and Thalia are there to act as witnesses.

They both go into the big ceremony fully relaxed and ready to weather whatever gets thrown at them.

In my family there are specific tones with two of my nicknames. The regular one and the "sweet" one, they want something 😒.

Like "Hope" is the regular one.

"DeeDee" seems to be the sweet one where they're talking to her kindly

Yes, that!! "Dee" or "DeeDee" is very sweet and something only her siblings, auntie and parents call her. Its said with love. Whereas Hope is used universally by all but you'll definitely hear it less frequently at the Drake Estate.

"Hope Diamond" means she done fucked up at some point lmfaoooo
