love it when a character that's hard to read intuitively for you has like a dedicated fandom interpreter who can just glance at their blank face in a panel and then give you a 3k word essay on their innermost thoughts & desires & fears and neatly tie it back into the themes & whatnot as if it's the most obvious thing in the world

something that is like the baseline of amys entire character to me is that shes lonely. shes clingy and physically affectionate in a way none of her friends really are, shes always getting pushed aside and left behind. yeah, she helps out people she doesnt know because shes a nice person, but also, she sees part of herself in them. she wont leave someone else behind because she knows the feeling —and more importantly, hates the feeling. if she doesnt have somebody to stand by her and be there for her, then shes going to be that person for everybody else. something something her obsession with sonic is really just like a manifestation of that desire for closeness with someone, and she thinks that romance is the only way to get that. idk... this hedgehog can have so many abandonment issues.

i personally like to think this has been a thing since before the islanders were brought together (sorry im a sucker for special guest theory) and that cucurucho genuinely just has a crush on him since forever that couldnt have been expressed till bad lost his memories like this sparked hardcore for me when the feds started implying their knowledge of his resets and afterwards is when cucurucho really started getting in there with the romantic advances 👀 like i just think it would be so cute if he's always had a crush on bad that he felt more confident expressing after the reset when bad had absolutely no one and nothing to his name (cue manipulation) jkhvbjnk

Also because i really like the crack hc that cucurucho was the one to personally order all those muffins for bad back in the day when we were first finding those emails/jjjjj

it's kinda weird that shadow is known as the guy that uses guns all the time when there's like. zero undeniably canon instances of him using a gun. as far as i can remember the only media where hes shown using guns is shadow the hedgehog (the game) and he has one on the boxart yeah but if i remember correctly he doesnt have one in any of the cutscenes except for the opening animation thing but i wouldnt consider that part of the story just a montage of things that Could happen depending on what choices you make. and within the actual levels there ARE weapons you can use but theyre not all guns and the one you use, if you even use one at all, is entirely up to you the player shadow doesn't just grab a gun and make you use it. and while using a gun definitely makes the game easier there are very few missions where it's actually a requirement. plus due to the nature of the choose your own path thing its unclear which missions actually happened so we dont even know if the parts where you have to use a gun happened for real. and after this one single game shadow never used a gun again as far as i know. this whole idea of shadow being obsessed with guns and using them all the time doesnt really have much canon basis if anything it makes more sense for tails to be known as the gun guy considering hes the one who actually uses weapons like all the time

I think about the idea that maybe, at some point mondo does actually cut his hair,, goofy thought would be that during the time he was in future foundation he got the teruki cut (mp100 reference in which in a fight teru gets his long hair cut by a sword) though it happens with his pomp or smth
