Hey artists coming to tumblr, I have one small piece of advice for you:
Have an art blog that's separate from your reblogging things blog.
It doesn't have to be anything fancy, and it doesn't even have to be your main blog. Mine is literally just a side blog that I reblog all my art to after I post it on this one.
There are two big reasons for this:
1. It gives people a quick and easy way to see your art in once place. Having an art tag is good too! But with the way tumblr has been mucking up tags and searches, it's just more reliable to have a standalone location on the internet for your work.
2. If someone likes your work but not your reblogs, it gives them another avenue to follow you for your artwork.
I dunno about you, but if someone's blog posts a ton of content that I'm not interested with one or two art posts a month, I probably won't follow them there. But if they have a separate blog that only has their own art on it, I am ABSOLUTELY giving them a follow.
Tumblr is the Posting Fandom Bullshit website but it is also the Curating Your Dashboard Experience website. If you want eyeballs on your artwork, you gotta give someone a reason why they should put you on their dashboard!!

Omg a new writing blog for the fandoms I'm currently obsessed with who writes sub!characters content??? Already in love with your blog! I really like your work, especially the sub!Jace stuff and the daemyra poly hcs
(spoilers for 2x07 if you haven't seen it)
Could write some poly hc for Baela and Jace with a lowborn reader who became a dragonrider for team black because of Rhaenyra and Mysaria's plan? Maybe one who claimed Vermithor since the personnality of riders he seems to like would make for a fun dom!reader.
I feel like there would be a fun dynamic between reader and Jace since he isn't too thrilled about the new dragonriders, so quite different from the other things you wrote for him where he was into reader from the get go.
Also this fandom needs more Baela x reader content (I love her so much)
Thank you anon!! That's so nice to hear and yes you are very right we do need more Baela content!! This is such a cool concept! I'm gonna be tagging this with poly!Jace/baela so that if I write more about this, there's an easy way to search for it.
I'm gonna do headcannons about the relationship and how it started and while there definitely will be sub!Jace undertones and also implied sexual content, there's nothing explicit so no need to venture out past the cut this time! Though, if anyone wants NSFW headcannons for this or has some of their own, please let me know I'd love to hear it!!
-- so firstly, I think this works best of Jace and Baela were already married and also if Jace and Baela weren't properly in love yet?
-- sure they definitely like each other and are more than happy that their parents chose to wed them together, their dynamic is still closer to friends than husband and wife.
-- When you're able to get a dragon and join team black, Jace is not exactly thrilled. At first you really don't understand why he seems to detest you so much, but you just arrived and you know you have a lot to prove so you don't query it right away.
-- Baela, on the other hand, absolutely loves you from the get go. She takes one look at you and immediately knows that at the very least the two of you will become great friends.
-- And she's absolutely right of course.
-- you find yourself spending more time with Baela than with anyone else. You two train together, ride dragons together, sit with each other at meal times, etc.
-- of course at first this only serves to make Jace even more unhappy about you, because now it's like you've taken his wife on top of everything else.
-- Baela is the one who tries to get Jace to come around to the idea of you having a dragon and to be kinder towards you. Jace brushes her off, but she's determined and she won't give that easily.
-- Beala knew both you and Jace very well, and so she knew with 100% certainty that if Jace could get off the soapbox for one minute, he'd realise how great you are and you'd become fast friends.
-- While Baela is trying to get to stop being so stubborn, she's also confiding in you about her marriage. She likes Jace, and she could definitely see herself enjoying being with him, but she just feels so bland about it. She's not excited to spend the night with him, which isnt ideal since she's supposed to be making heirs.
-- You offer her advice and listen to her venting. More than once she has to stand up and leave before she stops being able to resist the temptation of kissing you, because you just seem to get her at a level that no one else does, and she wants you so bad, just as much as she wants Jace.
-- something big has to happen for Jace to finally wake up, and my immediate thought is that you save Baela? Baela is out on a scouting mission when Aemond manages to ambush her and if you hasn't shown up when you did, it's almost guaranteed that Baela and her dragon would have been no more.
-- Baela tells Jace this, and damnit as much as he doesn't like you, he has to go personally thank you because you did literally save his wife's life.
-- Jace is equal parts annoyed and relieved that when he spoke to you, you took his thanks graciously and then actually started a conversation that made him realise you're not so bad after all.
-- it becomes the three of you for a while after that.
-- I think you'd end up kissing Baela first, by that point you knew you had feelings for both of them, but there was no way you were going to pass up the opportunity when Baela initiates
-- you don't even have to go through trying to workout how to Jace because he actually walks in on it.
-- You're so certain you've just ruined Baela's marriage, but then Jace smiles and says, "Do I have to go... or can I stay? Because I want to stay, please?"

Hi, your posts always come up when I’m searching for fanfiction for this one specific character I like. When I’m browsing the search of this character, the majority of your work that pops up are the “darker” themed stories, and I’m not sure if that’s exclusively what you write or if that’s just what’s popping up, but I was hoping to ask you a question. It comes from a place of genuine curiosity, so I hope it doesn’t come across as rude, although it might, and that’s definitely not my intention. I’m genuinely curious as to why you write explicit sexual assault fanfiction? You tag your stories with “noncon,” referring to nonconsensual sex which is obviously rape. I’ve also seen stories tagged with “drugging” and I’m genuinely so confused about the psychology of “dark” writing. I’ve seen some people say it’s a coping mechanism so maybe that’s it? I’m 20 years old, but I cannot imagine being a 13 old girl (which tumblr is FULL of) and seeing stories which have the premises of “hot guy character” and “sex,” and it’s just literal rape or drugging or manipulation (or as you tag, “gaslighting”). I really don’t mean to be harsh, it’s just astounding how you feel comfortable writing that stuff, because it’s not like these “dark” topics are being condemned, it’s very clear that’s it written on the premise of being “forbiddingly sexy”. Because all of these posts are full of supportive comments, it’s so obvious that this normalizes sexual assault and why? All because the guy character doing it is “hot”? My opinion is that it’s so dangerous and I cannot imagine how I would have felt if I had seen these stories and the reactions to them when I was younger as a sexual assault victim myself. I’d really like to hear the perspective of an author of these type of works. This message does not come from a place of judgement.
Hi.
cw: talks of sexual assault, rape and violence.
As a CSA and SA victim, it's mainly used as a way to cope. It doesn't normalize sexual assault in the slightest, it's simply a kink many victims develop after being abused— everyone has their own ways to cope. NONE of my content including the fluff is ever written for minors, and it is not my responsibility if a minor reads it despite having a huge MDNI in my profile and actively encouraging any minors to get off of my blog.
I believe the time you spent writing something that very clearly comes from a place of judgement could have easily been spent googling your questions, but I'll gladly answer.
Sometimes people develop certain kinks out of fear and trauma— coming from someone living in a very small country where women get raped, kidnapped, and brutally murdered daily and spent years being a shut-in to avoid these things, it definitely comes from the factor of being able to have a controlled environment to write the things I'm scared of. I obviously don't want to be raped or be SAd again in real life, so this is all very clearly a fetish.
The reason why it's not written as condemned is because it's very obviously a kink? I'm not really sure what you expect when you see the warnings and continue reading. Since you mention the "gaslighting" thing I'm going to assume the character you're initially talking about is Simon Riley— and it would have taken you exactly 2 seconds to go to my profile and look at the masterlist with over 20 works to realize that's not all I write in the slightest— actually, I haven't put any of my works of the past 2 weeks in the masterlist because I've gotten lazy, so you'd only see 1 darkfic compared to everything else.
You mention multiple times how you'd feel if you saw my works as a child and that's the thing love, not a single one of my fanfics is ever meant for children or teenagers to read. These are grown men I'm writing about, I don't even want minors reading my fluffy things or even interacting with me at all— but if it helps, as a teenager I used to read works like these and it helped me process A LOT of my trauma later on in life lmfao.
I've been molested as early as I was 6 years old, and this went on most of my life growing up until I was in my late teens, so it's pretty fucking weird to say my fics normalize sexual assault because that's far from what it is, it's simply a FANTASY with FICTIONAL characters, none of it is real and I don't want it to be real, I don't want any of my readers to go through any of these things in real life, so I'm not really sure what the point of even accusing me of that was.

Heyy
So I guess your blog is one of the blogs I can come to for this.
I loooove your rpfs that you post with Eric and Assad, but theres a part of me that feels kinda.... guilty? For reading rpf in the first place? And the cast is wonderful i just worry about what their reactions would be if they knew lol.
Idk. Maybe its just me!
🤷‍♀️
oh sure, you can always come to me for this tbh!!
so it's definitely not just you, this has been an rpf debate as old as time!! the way you gotta think of it is like... for the most part, we're seeing a public persona from the people involved. they present themselves a certain way on screen or in articles, interviews etc. and we as members of the public have no way of knowing what they're actually like in their home lives etc.
ofc there are people who do tinhatting to the extreme (think for example the spn rpfers who really were absolutely convinced that Jared and Jensen were together and there was a whole media coverup about it with their wives as beards and so on), but for the most part what we're engaging with is those specific public personas, you know? we're sort of spinning a "what if" story, and many people into rpf may prefer not to include the person's rl family, partners, friends because that tips it over that line in the sand, if that makes sense?
obviously that line is different for everyone, and that's up to you to decide where your comfort level starts and ends. like, we're all engaging in the shared fiction that the actors are gay or bi and seeing each other - some people take that a little further into personal traits or neurodiversity headcanons, which is where my own personal rpf line is crossed (like 'headcanoning' that the person is autistic or has adhd) and i don't engage with that sort of work.
but as for your final question about what they would think if they saw it, well, we just soldier on under the desperate hope that they will not see it!! this includes different methods for different people: some people archive lock their fic, some people don't tag with actor names on socmed, some don't even talk about the ship on socmed at all or prefer to be on anon when posting fic or online. again, that's up to your own personal comfort levels - for me, i'm not really bothered or expecting that the actors will see my work or my tumblr, ao3 etc. i mostly don't post them on twitter and if i did, i definitely would not use the hashtags or actor names because those can come up in searches very easily! (ofc my twitter dn atm is literally "hot girl old man rpf summer" but you know 😂)
i personally take comfort in the fact that Assad is fairly offline on socmed, and Eric seems to only post on insta! my only request would be that people don't share or mention my work on insta at all, or anyone else's tbh! that way lies panic and terror (believe me, i've had some scares in britcom rpf way back in 2010!! but Charlie Brooker was always a LOT more online savvy than either Eric or Assad, so)
so all that to say, don't feel guilty about it, anon! you're not physically reaching through the screen and forcing them to kiss, nor are you sending them people's fic or edits or deranged textposts. they'll never know!! and if they do, well we just lock our fics down, move to a discord server or something, or talk in dms only.

This should go without saying (but apparently it doesn’t): this list is STRICTLY 18+
I’ve decided to make a fic recommendation post, based on the stuff I’ve been reading over the past couple years. Be aware, some of this stuff is DARK. The dove is very much dead, and occasionally so is the violated child’s corpse. Obviously none of the dark shit is condoned, and for me, reading and writing it helps me come to terms with my twisted and fucked up childhood/life (the way Grimm grips to Hornet, and everything about Amy even down to her name are wayyyy too real). TW for rape, child abuse, grooming… read the tags, guys. Please. Not all of these are so fucked up, but enough are that you should be warned.
First up is a series by @doceopercepto & @best0utthere:
In particular
And
READ THE TAGS! The above series heavily focuses on grooming, csa, and other very dark topics. Read at your own risk, every story is an incredible read.
Next up is
Which is also very Dead Dove, be aware that the story entirely focuses on a very fucked up relationship initiated by attempted murder and rape. This one along with the previous series was very important in helping me realize I’d been assaulted as a child. Take that as you will
Up next is probably one of my absolute favorite stories of all time
I had never heard of Worm before reading this, and still haven’t read it. This one dives heavily into rape recovery and how such a betrayal can affect your relationships. Almost a year ago I went through sexual assault committed by someone literally named Amelia (what Amy is short for) who I was so close with we could’ve been siblings, and I was saved from her by someone many would consider a villain. Needless to say, this fic really connected with me
This one
Is the story that got me shipping Enid x Wednesday (I’ll only ever accept Enid domme lol)
By virtue of it being an HP fic I’m worried about recommending it but @thistlecatfics’
Is a phenomenal (yet horribly fucked up) story that I all but consider canon (and consider a massive improvement to the actual books). Mind the tags, this one’s all about grooming. (Based on a quick search their blog the author is supportive of trans people)
Next is a close friend of mine @myqueenmarceline
Whose every work is so good I literally couldn’t pick a singular one to recommend
Finally, we’ve got @inquestorm’s
And
Which not only are phenomenal stories, but also resources I use alongside the games as research for my rewrite. I feel she frequently has a better grasp on the characters than the devs do, so I take her interpretations as canon
Feel free to rb with your own recs/comments on the ones I’ve posted

I reblogged this post, and @butts-bouncing-on-the-beltway responded. I think it's an interesting topic worth discussing, but butts has asked that we not fill up the OP's notes with giant discourse posts. I agree.
Here is a link to butt's response. Below the "read more" is my reply, because it is long and I am not going to ruin your dashboards.
Under what other fundraising circumstances have you asked people to perform their vetting in public for your approval (as opposed to the more traditionally accepted practice in community organizing of providing outlines that describe some but not all of your vetting procedures outside of the context of any specific call for funds)?
I generally work off the assumption that a fundraising post on Tumblr is a scam. Tumblr's search feature is not the best and I am even worse at tagging posts, so I don't have an easy way to search my blog.
But, on July 9th, I reblogged this post, about someone asking for help with a gofundme. I was, full dislcosure, in a sentimental mood and real sad. And the story got to me. So I reblogged it uncritically.
But here are the tags I made:
Tumblr media
Maybe not the clearest indicator of "buyer beware" but the intent was for me to say "I believe these people, but you should do your own homework and be warned my belief is because I'm a sucker for a mom post."
Even with that context though, and with fully believing the post, I thought the responsible thing to do was warn anyone who saw the post that my reblog was unverified.
Because what you’re describing as “vetting” is, in fact, what I learned in my organizing work as “modeling vetting procedure for educational reasons” and includes getting the explicit consent of all involved to perform (in part due to the violative and invasive nature of most vetting techniques and approaches) the process in full via case study. This, notably, is not something that can ethically be done for anonymized public consumption, because literally no one would consent to their entire case study being made publicly available forever on the internet, and therefore cannot be ethically performed. Which is WHY the other, traditionally accepted, practice exists. To offer broad spectrum reassurances to an anonymized audience about the fact that vetting of fund calls is being performed, without unethically dumping a person’s entire life online during one of the most traumatic moments of their life.
So, first off, my wording may have been a bit poor, here.
I wrote that vetting is:
"Vetting is reviewing their information and disclosing what was reviewed and how it was validated."
What I should have said, for precision, was
"Vetting is when someone reviews the post's information. That person then discloses what type of material was reviewed (e.g., they spoke to them in person, they met over video chat, they have only spoken by text) but not necessarily the specific details of said material, and how it was validated (e.g., I met in person, I demonstrated it was a live feed, they had one witness with them, the photo includes a newspaper of today's date)."
So that's totally my bad. I shouldn't post on my phone.
My example of vetting was just that, an example. I wasn't suggesting that needed to be done for every case. I also probably shouldn't have added the last line about "here is the video for you to see."
But it's important to remember the context of these fundraisers: These people are already sharing their names, family members health conditions, and photographs of themselves online. It is not any more onerous or invasive for them to post a ~5 second video saying "Hey, it's me." These are non anonymized sources.
They're also, again, asking for five-figure sums of money. Some level of skepticism should be allowed and encouraged.
So I will ask again, being extremely clear about what I am asking and why.
First off, this is a snakry comment on my part, but this is not a clear question. It is 173 words long (113 if you end it at the first question mark), contains a few parenthetical tangents, and so many double negatives that I genuinely got a little bit lost. So, I'm going to break it down and answer as much of it as I can, but if you think me breaking it up loses context, feel free to advise.
In what other circumstances have you demanded the unethical revelation of private (and in mamy cases protected) information in order for you to personally verify the vetting process done by the person performing it,
Couple of points here.
As set out above, I believe my clarified definition of what "vetting" constitutes does not require the revelation of private information. It requires an authority figure stating "I have vetted this post, here's how."
If someone is posting a Gofundme online, and it is being "vetted" by a random blogger, the academic standards of ethics and protected information don't apply. You don't get to play the game of "This example of 'vetting' only works in an academic setting as an example" and simultaneously expect regulations and ethical standards used in the context of academia to apply. There is no "protected information" in the context of these fundraisers. These are anonymous people publicly asking for money from strangers. People considering providing funds can ask whatever questions they want to satisfy their respective level of skepticism.
I haven't ever demanded this information - even in my post above (because I gave an example of one method that vetting could include that disclosure =/= that's the only way to vet something) - because I don't typically donate to gofundme pages. But generally speaking, I demand this information for anything I do donate to. I once got scolded by a fundraising person on the street because I asked what portion of my donation would go directly to the charity, and what portion was a commission their contracting company received.
vs accepting their public conversations about tactic and technique (whatever else may be debateable about 90-ghost, it is NOT debateable that he has openly and publicly discussed his vetting process, even if he declines to publicize specific case studies, per ethical aid guidelines) as confirmation of process that you are within your rights to trust or not trust, but NOT within your rights to claim aren’t actually being done just because they are not being done for public consumption?
I did start my post by writing:
The entirety of the rest of them are just reblogs from 90-ghost. Of those reblogs, I think only two have 90-ghost saying anything, and all they say is "this is legit".
I'm not suggesting 90-ghost needs to publicly disclose the information of each family they supposedly vet. I was suggesting they need to do something other than tacitly reblog it.
I don't know who 90-ghost is. If you go to their page, their pinned post is a request for help for their personal fundraiser.
Their sidebar has two links, one to their twitter, one to their instagram. His Instagram post has two photos on it, one from 11 weeks ago, and one from 2014. His twitter appears to be more personal - sharing and reposting news about the war. A lot of it is not in English, and I'm a loser monoglot, so I don't know what is or isn't being said there.
But to the point: You cannot figure out how 90-ghost vets their posts easily. Despite your claim that it's "not debatable he has openly and publicly discussed his vetting process." It's actually pretty difficult to find. In fact, I can't actually find any posts of his explaining it. It might be easy if you follow him or are actively engaged with this community, but I'm not commenting on this because I follow him, or even OP. I'm commenting because I saw it on my dash.
Here's what I was trying to suggest was needed instead of these blank reblogs.
"Hi, I am 90-ghost. I have vetted this fundraiser. To learn what my vetting process constitutes, see this post [link to a post.]"
The silent reblog and the assumption it's vetted is what I take issue with, here.
If thus is NOT an ask you have made in other circumstances, can you explain to me what *specifically* about this set of circumstances means that the traditionally accepted public-facing vetting procedure discussion is inadequate,
Because charity scams, specifically charity scams related to Gaza, have exploded since October 7th. This is true of every natural disaster, according to Forbes.
and how this has NOT been present in other times when you have interacted with or spoken on the process and procedure of redistributing funds?
Two points here.
I don't typically interact or speak with the process of redistributing funds. I interact with what comes up on my blog. And so I click a link, and see that it's suspicious, and then look into it.
It wasn't until I started seeing posts about the Gaza fundraisers that I became aware of this issue with scam fundraisers. Don't worry, next time a hurricane hits, I'll be just as skeptical about those posts.
Additionally, and this is anecdotal, but you're asking what's different here, so this is the answer.
I reblogged this post on August 2nd. Within one hour of posting it, I had four asks in my inbox from "gazan Gofundmes". Prior to that ask, I had received a grand total of 0 gofundme posts in my inbox. That means one of two things:
Multiple people are watching every single reblog of their posts like a hawk, and critical or not, if a reblog was made, they then go and manually send an ask.
It's a bot network sending asks based on reblogs, like every other bot network on this site.
I deletedthose asks and so they're gone from my inbox, and I can't compare them to the verified list, but I reblogged one post and got four asks for others almost instantly. I assume it's pretty similar for everyone else who reblogs these fundraisers.
Even if they were legitimate, using a botnet to garner attention is... scam-like behaviour, if nothing else.
You have given zero evidence that any of these fundraisers are raising flags of illigitmacy, and are so far merely offering the possibility of illegitimacy and the protection of recipient private info fully in keeping with standard aid procedure ethical guidelines as enough to assume fraudulance.
Again, I'm criticizing the "vetting" done here, and people's apparent willingness to just trust a reblog as an endorsement of vetting. It is exceptionally easy to make hyperlinks on Tumblr. It is easy for 90-ghost or the spreadsheet to simply add a hyperlink saying "Vetting process is here."
The spreadsheet just says "this was researched by us."
What does that mean?
I understand that in the world of mutual-aid communities, you might have shorthand. But you need to understand that if you are trying to send a message to people who don't live in that world (like me) you need to provide some basic definitions and explanations of process.
All I've said (or at least, all I meant to say) in my post is "these "vetting posts" do not clearly explain how the post was vetted. That needs to be done, and people should think critically about why it isn't being done."
If you can, with a straight face, say "hey, silently reblogging a post and having to dig through that person's blog for pages and pages to find the post discussing how they vet things is a good system" then you and I live in different worlds.
That is….a wild speculation on your part that, by your demands, you are ill-equipped to actually validate or support on your own, which tells me you have (heaven forbid) decided to TRUST people in your sphere who tell you that you have cause to doubt these fundraisers,
I clicked a post uncritically reblogging a fundraiser, and went "Oh, these are vetted." I then followed the link to the supposed vetting, that they include, to find that it is a silent reblog from one person.
This was me, following the links on the post, to see how they vetted the post. And I was lead to that every time.
The post said "vetted here." The link it takes me to is not a vetting. It's a silent reblog. Even if we accept your standards for vetting (which I don't think are actually that far off what I consider vetting, I just worded it poorly) these posts don't do that. As I said in my first reblog - literally only two say ANYTHING, and it just says "this is legit."
That's barely any information at all. These people are asking for upwards of $50,000. If 90-ghost is trying to advocate for them, the least he can do is put in the 30 seconds of work to make the posts not look like scams. It's bad advocacy, if nothing else.
even though you yourself visibly lack the understanding of how that doubt should or even WOULD in aid work be put to rest.
Just to be clear, I fully accept the premise that if someone trusts 90-ghost, and 90 ghost says "I have vetted this post." then that's enough to justify donating.
What I'm saying is that a wordless reblog or "it's legit" is not proof of any of that happening. And if people from inside the community think that's convincing to the outside community, they are either naive, intentionally hoping people don't click the links to check, or some third reason.
If 90 ghost had a link at the top of the blog saying "Hey! Here is how I vet a post. If I reblog a post, it is a direct endorsement of this vetting procedure." I would be satisfied.
It's that they're operating on, apparently, an unorganized chain of faith that makes the "vetted HERE" links completely misleading. To figure out how 90-ghost vets posts, you have to dig through hundreds of their posts. To consider a quick hyperlink to a wordless reblog a valid source of vetting is unreasonable, in my view.
So my follow up question, once you’ve answered the earlier ones, is how are the conspiratorial accusations you are leveling here any different from the blind trust you are accusing others of having in things they don’t understand enough themselves?
I'm not entirely sure what the "conspiratorial accusations" here are, but I'm assuming it's my two bullet points re: What 90-ghost could be doing - this part:
There's no reason to trust 90-ghost just because they reblogged the post. How do you know 90-ghost isn't
A) In on the scam;
B) So (rightly) upset that this is happening that they don't care if some of these are scams on the off chance that even 1 is legit, and so are using their goodwill to "vet" posts.
If 90-ghost is doing a thorough vetting, that should be shared
If this is wrong and you're referring to something else, let me know
Again, this may come to me being imprecise in my language, so I apologize.
How I perhaps should have phrased this, is:
"A reblog alone is not enough to confirm a post is vetted. How do I know, from a silent reblog alone, that this post was vetted? If 90-ghost is vetting the posts, he should be sharing that by stating he has done so, and providing information on how he vets posts (again, not the specifics of the vetting for each individual, just a "here are the steps I take" post that is immediately visible and linked in any post he claims to have "vetted").
I don't think that's conspiratorial or unreasonable. I do think that, without that, it is reasonable to make those two assumptions. I don't know 90-ghost, because I don't follow this world closely. These posts are meant to be a "signal boost", so they're meant to go outside the usual circle of followers, right? So you have to assume those people won't know who 90-ghost or anyone else is. So if you want them to trust the process, that process should be explained clearly, consistently, and on each post or fundraiser. An empty reblog does not do this. And the fact that an empty reblog is used as the "vetting" post for every single post except two shows a pattern which is unusual and justifies skepticism.
How is your decision to trust the people undermining the credibility of online fundraisers without understanding enough about EITHER side’s points to convey them yourself with any actual evidentiary support (have you perhaps never actually SEEN the evidentiary support your trusted people claim is responsible for their perspective?) in any way different from the choice of people (knowing the risks) to donate to fundraisers that are being circulated by the Palestinian community and their allies?
Again, you are jumping to assumptions about what made me reblog this, or who I'm trusting. I saw the post, from someone I follow and respect, and saw that it had a bunch of links saying "vetted here." I followed the links, and there was no vetting, and no confirmation of vetting. That frustrated me, because when I read "vetted here" and "please give me money" I expect to be able to... verify the vetting before I consider giving money.
Perhaps they have reasons you have not seen (looked for?) to trust and make their own judgements.
Sure, but words have meaning. And a link that says "vetted here" implies that if you follow that link, you will be given information confirming a post is vetted. To come to the conclusion that "90-ghost reblogging a post = vetted" requires significant time and investment into the mutual aid community that is absolutely not apparent from the link. And so when all you link to are wordless reblogs that, justifiably, raises questions about how skeptical people should or shouldn't be.
Perhaps your condescension goes beyond questioning the capability of Palestinians to know how to organize aid calls and ensure effective distribution, and even extends into believing your fellow non-Palestinians are just too easily duped? Would be just as skeptical of you if they realized how much trust they were putting in another person?
Again, you are making a lot of assumptions from what I think is a pretty simple ask: Provide a clear and easily accessible link to how the vetting process occurs, and specific confirmation that a post was, in fact vetted. A silent reblog does neither of these.
Weird how YOU haven’t seemed to question your trust in the people who started this uptick in shaming of donation posts even though you clearly reference seeing posts that call that trust’s validity into question.
I saw one post, it's been linked above.
I don't actually think I reference any posts that call that trust's validity into question, here. The only thing I do reference is people "blindly" reblogging."
But that was based on the personal observation of someone I follow blindly reblogging the post.
Maybe the problem isn’t that people don’t know they’re choosing to trust someone, but that they have intentionally chosen to trust someone that you have chosen not to, and you cannot tolerate that someone might do that while thinking it was the right choice, because what does that say about YOUR choice if they think that?
Nope! Trust is fine and good.
I take issue with the misrepresentation that the links that say "vetted here" do not, in fact, vet the post.
That's my issue.
I understand donating to any individual fundraiser requires a network of trust, and don't particularly care what degree of trust anyone chooses to use or not use.
But uncritically reblogging a post with a dozen "vetted here" links, of which none actually provide any information on the vetting, is bad and silly.
I suppose saying it's suspicious is probably unfair. I try to follow the "never assume malice when stupidity would suffice" rule. But like... it's either malicious or stupid to think that's an adequate "vetting" - ESPECIALLY when trying to convince outsiders to the community to donate.
Again, imagine you are me: Someone not involved in this community. You have sympathy for Palestinians wanting to flee the country. A post comes across your dash which says "these fundraisers have been verified." You click the "vetted here" button. You are taken to a silent reblog of a post. You go, "okay, maybe this 90-ghost person is some sort of authority." You click to get to their home page. It has no links discussing how, why, or what criteria they use to vet posts. It also doesn't make it clear if a reblog is a "vetting" or just an endorsement. There are two posts in the list where 90-ghost says "this is legit." Why didn't he say that on the other ones? Are the other ones not legit? Has he only vetted the ones he explicitly says "These are legit"? If so, why do only two of these meet the criteria? What does 90-ghost do to vet these posts?
Do you see why that's an issue?
Or maybe you really do just think your fellow non-palestinians are too stupid to know that vetting processes are literally always about deciding who it is worth it to you to trust and making the most of a situation that can literally never be made asshole-proof?
Again, I understand this about vetting processes. My gripe is that a wordless reblog provides ZERO information to suggest anything has been done.
Feel free to just say that next time. It’ll be faster, and you’ll irritate fewer people in the process.
I think I've said it a few times, but just for total clarity:
If someone says they are vetting a fundraiser, they should set out:
Their methodology for doing so (again, not revealing the actual information they received, just what type of information they do receive);
A quick statement that confirms that specific post has been vetted so you can tell which posts are vetted, and which are sympathetic; and
Make access to the vetting process easily discoverable (e.g., a pinned post, a link in the reblog, etc.)
Failure to do these warrants skepticism, especially when the call for aid is meant to be broadcast outside of the community that already knows this information.

inspired by some tags i just wrote on a poll reblog:
anyone else feel conflicted about the direction tech, software, and the internet are heading?
like, appreciating recent conveniences but not wanting the "old" ways to die in favor of them?
i use the tumblr mobile app for 99.5% of things on this site (only opening browser tumblr if i need to see more in-depth stats or attach a file from a proper computer), my blog doesn't have a custom theme, i use algorithmic dash, i prefer the mobile app for especially the quickness and snappiness of reblogging and downloading full-res images compared to browser, and i just in general prefer to do my mindless scrolling on a mobile device, leaving the proper computer setup for productivity/gaming/watching stuff/listening to stuff/etc
but at the same time i will wholeheartedly defend blog customization and the algorithm-less experience as core aspects of what makes this place what it is, even if i don't participate in them myself at least as of now, and i strongly disagree with everything nowadays being forced into a secluded app when it could've just been a website
do you feel this is hypocritical, an attempt to have a cake and eat it too? do you feel this is "i disagree with what you're saying but i'll fight for your right to say it"-core?
or, the analogy i used for this elsewhere last night: like being a (yes i know this metaphor has been disproven but) frog in slowly boiling water, noticing the warmness and enjoying aspects of it, but still having a way out if you just jump out
where in this analogy the slowly boiling water is the direction of the internet, the warmness is the conveniences like not needing to menudive and know what a folder is to download an image, and the jumping-out is just you switching habits from the "new" to the "old"
what i'm scared of here is three possible outcomes:
the water is allowed to reach the boiling point and you are, quite literally, cooked (this is the timeline where user freedom and common knowledge of tech skills take a huge hit in favor of corporate profit)
the frog jumps out of the boiling water and into a container of liquid nitrogen, i.e. the enshittification is stopped but the pendulum swings so far back that we lose what to many is core functionality for purely ideological reasons (i call this the cohost timeline)
a lid is put on the boiling pot prematurely, taking away the frog's ability to leave before outcome 1 is achieved, causing it to sense something is up, leading to the frog protesting against the situation it's been placed in, with unpredictable results (the reddit API changes timeline, a very possible near-future event for tumblr as well)
and that's before you get into the whole thing about how things look
i'm probably one of the least bothered people i know when it comes to the look of modern redesigns, i think a lot of them look quite cool actually, but that is HEAVILY contrasted by my preference for the displaying of accurate statistics and precise information, needing search functions to do EXACTLY what i tell them to, etc.
because 9 times out of 10 those redesigns always take a little slice of user agency and precision with them, and that's not what i want at all
so i'm basically left here with the only people who Get Me on this topic being those people who theme the shit out of their linux installs for aesthetics, because they get how this stuff is supposed to be: personalized. customizable. tailor-made by you for you.
people should be allowed to choose their level on this stuff freely
someone wants to build their own gaming PC from individual parts while another just wants to plug in a console that works out of the box
someone wants to get a specific type of car and mod it a specific way for a specific motorsport while another is content just getting from point A to point B with public transport
so please, defend this diversity of options and experiences on the software side as well, everything should NOT be an app

do you have any tips for starting a blog like yours? i love love love your vibe and what youve done with the place but idk how to go about it myself ! your account is just so nicely curated , i hope this makes sense !!
AJSKFKGJSJS YES I DO AND THANK YOU !!!! 🩷🫶🏻💗 OKAY SO. my blog has actually been super messy up until the past month or two since i only started in january and had NO idea what i was doing, so it took a little trial and error before i properly settled on something. what i'd suggest if you want to start a girly blog!:
🧁💬 bee's guide to girlblogging!
🎀𓂃 ࣪˖ go online and search for cute symbols first and foremost!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pick out all ur favs and dump them down somewhere. on ALL the cute girly blogs these are always a staple! some of my favs i use lots, on tumblr and outside of it:
♡ ──★ ˙ ̟🎀
♡ ୨𖹭୧
♡ 🎀 . ݁₊ ⊹
♡ ㅤ۫ ㅤ۪ㅤ۫ 🐰 🧁 🎀 ㅤ
♡ 🐧💬𓂃 ࣪˖
♡ 🎀🧁 ྀི𓂃 ࣪˖
♡ 𝒟♡⃝ll..𓈒ིུ❤︎
🧁𓂃 ࣪˖ make a pinterest board. obviously. for all the cute pretty images you wanna include in ur blog. dividers, gifs, pics, inspo, anything you'd like! ♡ this helps w curation and cohesiveness since you have your own personal aesthetic that runs throughout your blog!
🎀𓂃 ࣪˖ i recommend if ur gonna make girly / advice posts to use notion, notes app, a journal, any sort of media where u can plan (digital or otherwise) and track everything there. this is where i personally keep my symbols, tags, post ideas, posts stored for later, and so on ♡ this just helps to keep everything neat and tidy and in check so it doesnt get super messy and u dont get overwhelmed <3
🐧𓂃 ࣪˖ ok get ur notion page or notebook or whatever ur using to plan in and pick out ur fav things about all ur fav girly blogs. use theirs as inspiration and figure out which features of theirs you want in yours and make them ur own. use inspo from already existing girly blogs or blogs you like and use this to create ur own individual style / aes and get a better feel for how u want ur own blog to look! ♡
-> (🗒🎀𓂃 ࣪˖ note: please do not copy from other's blogs or use things they made without credits, or try and pass it off as ur own. inspiration not plagiarism people!!!!!!!! ♡)
🧁𓂃 ࣪˖ experiment!!!!!!!!!!!!! like i said earlier i have literally only just managed to create cohesiveness in my blog through countless amounts of trial and error. experiment and go through some trial and error and see what u like best, don't be afraid to change it often and see what ur favs end up being. that way you can get more of a feel for what you like and how you want your blog to look!
🎀 𓂃 ࣪˖ if ur gonna make girly / advice posts then i'd suggest to create a defining structure or layout for said posts. if you look at majority of my posts, they all have pretty similar layouts. this is gonna be kind of like ur signature and it helps people recognise ur specific style. you can note this structure down in whatever ur using to plan and manage ur blog, or just keep a mental note of it ♡
💬𓂃 ࣪˖ one of my fav things regarding post structures is make use of the symbols u picked out earlier and give them specific uses! this sounds kind of weird but i will give a demonstration of what i do w this tip:
♡ ──★ ˙ ̟🎀 : for headings or subheadings
♡ 🧁𓂃 ࣪˖ : main points and notes
♡ 🗒🎀𓂃 ࣪˖ : for any extra tips, edits or thoughts within one point!
♡ ──★ ˙ ̟🎀 !! notice !!: for any content warnings, announcements or things i may have to say that are important to the post!
♡ ୨𖹭୧: used at all the ends of my tags bcuz its pretty and cute! (plus i dont wanna change it)
♡ all my love 💬🎀🫶🏻💗: the little signature i use at all the ends of my posts!
♡ 🧁🎀💬🐧✨️💭🐰🎧🧸👛📌📎🗒: just a bunch of emojis i use often to make things prettier! ♡
🧁𓂃 ࣪˖ create a defining theme / aesthetic. please don't feel limited to just pink and girly, but if you want that then thats perfect too! i think i have a v specific genre of girlblog and after changing and tweaking and altering it for some time now i'm vv happy with it ♡ if you follow the rest of these tips you'll probably have attained some sort of individual blog aesthetic already, but this is just to remember ♡
-> (🗒🎀𓂃 ࣪˖ note: one thing i like to do for this is have a specific divider(s)! i'll add the one i use all the time at the end of this post ♡)
💬𓂃 ࣪˖ i think this basically just adds on from my previous point but try ur best to be original in ur posts. make ur own style, make ur own aesthetic, make ur own post ideas no matter how out there they might seem, do things out of the box and whenever you like! i have created a few things like this (i.e. bee's record player, a monthly music magazine basically, and the princess project which i used for the first 50 days of the summer!) and they're such a cute way to just add some flair and originality to ur blog! ♡ be spontaneous and random and silly and change things up. girly blogs should be fun! ♡
i don't think i can think of anything else for now, but thank you for coming to me 😭💗 i hope this helps u and tag me when you start!!!!! i'd love to see ♡ mutuals when??? 🫶🏻
all my love 💬🎀🫶🏻💗
also here's the divider
Tumblr media
i also use this for my announcement posts! pretty girls dont gatekeep so here u go
Tumblr media
andd i also use this on all my intro / blog navigation posts! ♡
Tumblr media
(none of these dividers are mine, i just use them bcuz they're super pretty and me! all credits go to original creators obviously ♡)

all my blogs are finally fully backed up so.
Matt is a fucking idiot. imagine being in charge of a website that advertises itself as the gayest place on the web when in reality all you do is sulk in your office being upset and whiny because people rightfully call you out on your hypocrisy, ignorance, neglect, and blatant bigotry.
there is a literal genocide happening that's been going on for years killing innocent people. a non-binary teen was beaten to death and the killers have basically gotten off free. and this fucking dumbass decides to worry about what people are saying about him online as if he isn't sitting in a pile of money like every other jackass CEO is dong. the fact Palestine isn't one of the listed trending tags on tumblr when i see news about it every 5 posts is ridiculous.
he's just like any other rich guy. he doesn't care about the wellbeing of others, thinks only for himself, puts others down when they feel threatened, and just wants more money.
tumblr stopped being a safe place for "outcasted" people years ago, even before the porn ban. in fact, maybe it never really was for outcated people. trans, black, and disabled users have been getting put down by this site for a very long time, and its fucking disgusting. this site literally houses the largest percentage of LGBT+ and disabled users i've ever seen if we're going by the polls where literally the option of cisgender and neurotypical is always under 1%. they literally are the reason this website still exist, because they've created their circles and safe spaces for them to feel comfortable sharing their life experiences and adventures through life.
most people on this site can't go a day in their real life without some form of harassment or hardship, they don't need that transferring to their digital life. every group of people deserves their own corner for them to have fun and get away from everything for a while. if that's taken away, you are left with people who are just throwing tantrums, and the actual users who made your site usable are now out there probably doing better than you and getting more respectable support than you will with your group of crying babies.
Matt is not a 13 year old kid running a GMod DarkRP server. Matt is not a 26 year old forum mod. he is a 40 year old CEO who is the founder of a well known blog creation site. he has an extremely important and powerful position, yet he is choosing to put his own immature feelings first before thinking about the safety of his own userbase that is literally used as this sites selling point.
the fucking audacity to do this shit to your own users that you literally use for a selling point when you won't even allow for certain tags to show up in the search because you claim for them to have sexual content meanwhile other tags are full of hatred, bigotry, and downright defamation of innocent people who just happen to live different lives is fucking gross. i absolutely cannot believe society and social norms have let the minds of people in power get this fucking bad. it's almost impressive, in a tortured lab monkeys way, not in an innovated and breakthrough way.
please protect all trans users, especially trans women/trans fems. please protect black users, disabled users, all people of color users, homeless/financially struggling users, harassed users, victims of assault users, Palestinian users, jewish users, any religious users-any user that you know for a fact could be thrown away by this bullshit system any day now, protect and take care of them, and make sure they know you'll always be there no matter what.
this post will be rebloggable because i want to pass these links.
palestine related links:
arab.org
gofundmes
esims
PCRF
funds for gaza
POC related links:
BHM mutual aid
american indian college fund
black family mutual aid
trans related links:
freedom oklahoma
transformationskc
trans liberation
suggestions for more plus any corrections are appreciated. reblogging and replying to add your own links for mutual aid and donations is extremely acceptable and encouraged. i apologize if anything in this is worded incorrectly.
if this is taken down despite me being a cis straight chick, you know why.

11, 12, and 16 for the violence asks!! I need to know
OG POST HERE!!!
11. number of fandom-related words you’ve filtered
actually all 36 terms i have filtered are fandom-related lmao. honestly i use the filtering system as a way to clean up my dash. i sometimes filter a tag if someone i follow gets into a new thing that i’m ambivalent about or unfamiliar with. it means i can keep following them without seeing stuff i’m just not all that interested in yet but also (and especially) to avoid having something spoiled for me if i want to check it out in future! it also means that i can click the “show” button if i’m in the mood for something specific or want to learn more about it — go to their blog and just look for anything filtered :) this is literally the only way i know of to search a tumblr account for specific shit because the actual search function is Actually Useless Shit
16. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them
man there’s so many picks here but i’d have to say annalise. she’s not unpopular as in actively disliked afaik, just more generally overlooked. i need to post more about her but like — she’s such a key piece of bloodborne’s themes around gender and motherhood and its a goddamn shame it doesn’t get talked about more!!! she feels like a foil to miss doll in many ways (editor’s note: i Went Off on this but it needs to be its own post, so rest assured i will elaborate lol). she’s such a goddamn tragic character. in so many ways it feels that she retreated into the role of the queen to cope with the loss of her people: there’s nothing left of her home besides that. she calls herself “we”, not “i”. she is the queen of cainhurst before she is a human being and it feels like a very visceral reaction to the bigotry of the church. she is trapped in the throne room in a nightgown — evidenced the fact that her portraits show her wearing period-typical gowns, and the attire she wears looks like historical sleepwear. it makes me fucking insane. she was wearing her nightgown when the executioners attacked. despite seeing everyone she ever knew and loved be butchered before her eyes, despite being reviled as a corrupted subhuman monstrosity, despite being imprisoned in complete solitude for god only knows how long, she still fucking demands your respect and i love her for it. she is canonically some flavor of queer on account of the fact she rejects your marriage proposal in an identical way regardless of gender. i am able to fulfill my fantasy of a beautiful vampire woman bossing me around thru her questline. what is not to fucking like!!!!
17. you can’t understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc.)
hands down probably the defanging of the women characters: chiefly maria, miss doll, and adella/arianna. like, i know WHY it happens (misogyny) but it’s still baffling to me. why are you making them waifus. follow up question is your taste honest to god just that boring, and if so get better soon. they’re so much cooler than that. shut the fuck up. maria is such a complex character and if i see another clown reducing her to some soft maternal wifey because… what, she was compassionate to the research hall patients and felt bad about doing uhhh *checks notes* A Whole Ass Genocide???? i will staple myself to the ceiling. like some folks will do the most absurd mental gymnastics to call a woman in any media maternal for the most basic things 😭. in a similar vein are the people who shit themselves to death trying to claim that she TOTALLY COULD HAVE BEEN a femmey little uwu housewife even though she has a canonical and marked preference for masc presentation, and actually a woman conforming to victorian gender roles and being attracted to men is an EPIC FEMINIST WIN, actually. usually this comes from cis and/or hets who are convinced they are personally oppressed because like 3 queers on tumblr said maria is a butch lesbian. having said that there are so many amazing artists and theorycrafters that when i was trying to link specific posts/art the list was actually a million years long. some people are annoying but MORE people are so cool and thoughtful and creative!!!!! shoutout to nishihii saintadeline butchjolyne and pretty much all the lgbtqs in the mariadeline tag, all of your work is like oxygen to me 💕 yall are amazing :)
it’s the same with miss doll. either their complexity is painted over by making her the butt of those insufferable sex doll jokes or they’re made out to be this pure innocent mommy/housewife. usually this is hand in hand with just blatantly ignoring the misogyny inherent to the dynamic between her, maria, and gerhman and i just have to wonder how anyone manages to so spectacularly miss the point. i wrote a forty page paper on this. needless to say it makes me insane. i’m also a big fan of YOUR theories on the matter for a different yet equally neat perspective :) also i think marble did a post on it but i cannot for my LIFE find it
also i cannot stress enough how lame it is that adella gets reduced to a flat stereotype. they took a violently traumatized woman who was groomed into loathing herself by the catholic blood cult and who desperately clings onto the hunter for showing her justo the most basic decency of not Leaving Her To Die and decided instead of any of that it would be way cooler to water her down into a “yandere”. same can be said for arianna. like istg if they were men ther would be ESSAYS. but then again if they were men their themes would literally not even be half as cool AND they couldn’t be lesbians so i am writing the essays myself. tl;dr i am absolutely OBSESSED with both @/jurasicass and @/undefeatablesin’s portrayals of both these ladies. finally some good fucking adella/hunter/arianna dynamics‼️‼️‼️

been thinking about this for a while and the volume of posts I've seen decrying the act of liking art without reblogging it vs the literal 0 (zero) number of posts I've seen explaining how to find art by:
utilizing the individual characteristics of Tumblr's site wide search/tag systems
using tumblr's content filtering system to declutter search/tag results (to hide gifs, manga caps, edits, etc)
listing common shorthand terms used within fandoms for characters/ships/etc that can be used to target specific reaults
disabling endless scrolling and editing search/tag page urls to do deep dives into tags (if this still works? I haven't done it in a while)
using tumblr's tag following system along with the "your tags" tab to keep up with new posts
creating your own quick link reference (using a text editor, spreadsheet, or notepad doc formatted with html and saved as a .html file) to catalog various favorite search/tag pages so you can have them all a click away for regular checking
(above is nice for making favorite artist directories too)
creating an "artist dashboard" via the blog sub tab (follow the artist, enable notifications from them, then go to tumblr settings and disable push notifications. you'll get all the artist's posts in a tab but wont be annoyed by notifs)
looking up title/character names in other languages (using both english alphabet spellings and ones from non-english alphabets)
identifying an artist's unique art tag to see all their art (btw it should also be stressed by tye community that artists should use unique art tags if they're mixed OC/non-OC blogs so people can easily find their original art)
understanding the quirks between searching a term on an artist's blog and clicking a tag on one of their posts (the blog search is fucked and often extremely non-chronological, but if you search something on a blog, get a result that has the term tagged, then click that tag, you'll be directed to a chronological view using the tag)
also honorable mention for artists and not art enthusiasts: encouraging artists to use good tags and understand how tumblr's tag system works (AND THEN KEEP UP TO DATE ON THIS. it has changed so many times...)
makes me feel like this shit is purely registers as a personal numbers game to them. like, no thought is being put into how people operate or how to enable their potential audience. they just want reblog count go up. now.
also for real, helping people with the desire to find art and the initiative to go out of their way to get to your content seems like a better way to get reblogs than trying to shame disinterested people whose only regard for your work was a fleeting moment of attention as they just happened to pass it on their dashboard.
sure there is merit to people sharing a work but it is the most random, non-targeted method of reaching someone. Acting as if it's helpful (or even possible) to force a casual audience to change their desires and behavior is bizarre.

Hi 💖 I love your blog and I have a very silly question. I'm not through with the comics yet so I'm skipping a lot of posts for now (I already have had the Worst Spoiler from elsewhere though so) but yeah anyway I saw your tags about Dream only eating dream food and I'm just. Wondering. If the food is in the Dreaming, it's part of the Dreaming, correct? Except the Dreaming is also Dream, like, he's part of him he's part of it etc idk? So... If he eats Dreaming Food™... is that like the thing on the show with Gregory and he's in a way just. Reabsorbing bits of himself into his uhhh more concentrated Self. Is he eating a part of himself. Net zero food acquisition, that food was already him to begin with. What is he doing. (Possibly I am overthinking this and possibly you are the wrong person to ask this! Please do not feel any obligation to respond to this in any way, and have a good whatever time of day it is for you!)
overthinking is what we do here, i love this question!
and, it sort of is, in the sense that all dreams are Dream in some form, but in that sense the endless are all self perpetuating anyway (and they don't have mortal bodies, there's no reason why our food would be particularly good fuel, i think the ones who eat it just do so because they like it)
dream, meanwhile, can eat waking world food? he just hates it
(interestingly he seems to have less of a problem with drinks, he's turned down every bit of food he's ever been offered no matter how impolite it was to do so at the time, but he'll order drinks in his meetings with hob, and he drank coffee once with his brother)
but to your actual question - he doesn't have to eat food that just he created. we don't get this in the show but in the comic when he gets out of the cage the very first thing he does is search other people's dreams for the first one with food in, because he does still get hungry and he hasn't eaten since uh. 1915
so like. there's dream magic and then there's Dream's magic. gregory had to happen because he had none of his own magic left (Stuff Happened, before he got captured, which is spoilers for overture, but the only reason he got caught in burgess' trap at all is he'd used up most of his own magic and wasn't strong enough to resist what was actually a fairly weak summoning spell. death wasn't summoned bc she would have barely even noticed it being cast), so if he wanted to actually start using his magic to fix things, he would have either had to wait for it to recuperate naturally (would have taken a long time if it happened at all, given the state the dreaming was in), or he had to artificially boost it
but the dreams of mortals are still there - that's also what he does to summon the fates, he has nothing of his own to offer them so he takes from the collective dreaming
and in terms of just keeping his body going, that food works fine
(and like. dream is a being created out of the dreams of mortals anyway, so it makes sense that those dreams are his source of energy)
(normally he doesn't have to steal it though, that was a very desperate situation, he has palace cooks who are capable of dreaming literally any food on request)
(as shown when he has delirium over for dinner and he orders a fairly ordinary meal and she orders freshly squeezed mango juice and "some little chocolate people, about three inches high, filled with raspberry cream")

I'm asking this with the kindest intention possible, I really don't mind what you have to say about jikook, to each their own, I personally am just an observer who constantly tries to rationalize any interesting thoughts I may get about them. However, sometimes when I search the tag and see your posts one question keeps popping up in my head. I just don't understand the point of you having a blog for them when you technically won't (and do not?) entertain them as an item unless certain scenarios happened. So what's the point of debunking other (delusional or not) jikookers got to say since your own stance is pretty much clear and you're not looking for like minded opinions?
First, I’m only answering questions that I get. I don’t really go out of my way to create posts to debunk what other Jkkrs are saying. In fact, a lot of the time when I go out of my way to post something about Jikook, it’s because they did something weird (to me) or that I wanted to engage with content in a way I normally wouldn’t for fun. I understand the curiosity in how someone, who isn’t a part of the majority, ticks. This is, of course, done to their own detriment if they don’t like my answer, but again, I’m just responding.
I have over 200 asks and counting, and I don’t even answer everything that comes my way anymore when I used to at the start of this.
Second, a lot of people have actually asked me this question that I’ve answered numerous times. Delusions aside, I like Jikook and their interactions at its most raw presentation. I believe the common phrase I use is that I enjoy the way they “play with one another.” Toxic shippers have obnoxious gatekeeping behavior if your intent isn’t to ship them romantically (“you can’t be a Jkkr if you don’t think they’re dating!”), but as someone who enjoys their interactions specifically (in a different way from how the other members interact or how they interact with the others), I don’t think it’s apocalyptic if I consider myself a “Jkkr” as a result.
Third, this blog started when I was more open to the idea of shipping them romantically, provided there were moments worthwhile to consider it. The actual reason this blog started was because my Twitter at the time was threatened by Jkkrs who didn’t like that I didn’t think they were dating, which wouldn’t have been an issue, except I’d amassed a bunch of content I didn’t want to lose in case those shippers were insane enough to get my account suspended (because god forbid someone doesn’t think like them, the horror). So I came here because I don’t really care what happens to this account. I also didn’t care for the bullying, and I was very vocal and reactive over it from the start.
This blog has very obviously evolved to a point where I find the shipping community overall to be this toxic echo chamber, and it’s gotten worse as content for possible discourse has tapered off. But I also know there are some who think like me, who have thoughts that veer away from traditional Jkkr opinions, and they don’t know where to go or to whom they can share their own thoughts and feelings. I’m a lot more active in my DMs these days than I am on this blog.
To anyone who doesn’t get it or refuses to get it, just don’t engage with me. It’s really that simple. You can block me, you can scroll past my posts; autonomy is a beautiful thing. Use it to your advantage.
Anyone who chooses to ignore this and finds themselves making a big stink in my space—that is literally no one’s fault but your own.

hello I'm the tag anon, I wasn't being passive aggressive and it wasn't my intention to sound like that at all. I'm really sorry it came off that way it was never my intention to talk down on you, my suggestion was genuine.
that method has never failed me and from speaking to other people here I've always had the impression it's not well known? because it's really unintuitive.
I know I personally only discovered on accident, else I wouldn't have known about it still. and since you mentioned only search I thought it's another situation like that.
my comment about the method being annoying was also genuine, I find it ridiculous that tumblr makes us jump through this many hoops to find stuff on our own blogs. that's also what I meant by my last sentence, I called tumblr functional with carcasm because I've seen the joke a lot here and, it isn't and it has many issues. (hence my 🙃 emoji)
I thought that would be clear bc of my previous comment abt the method being annoying but I messed up so again, sorry for the message coming across as basically the opposite of what I intended.
NOOOOOOO OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY FOR BEING MEAN TO YOU 😭😭😭 not my silly neurodivergent ass literally not being able to read tone omg i'm so sorry anon......no please don't apologise that's genuinely fully on me i feel so bad for being mean when you were genuinely trying to help........
i honestly wasn't aware at all that that method isn't well known, i've been on here for a decade so after all that time it kinda became an obvious thing to me. i think that's why i read your genuine tutorial in a way of like "oh you walked into a door? maybe try opening the door before you walk next time lol dumbass" which is again, fully on me and now that you explained it, it's very obvious how you meant it and i'm so embarrassed 😭 i did honestly think it was very weird you were calling tumblr a functioning website because no one would ever say thatdjshdjs
again i'm genuinely sorry for being mean to you when you were being nice and thank you for trying to help me out <3

raxis has now decided to just name the person he has been harassing and block evading, fantasyinvader, and claims it's because you "Edelcritics" already mentioned him so he doesn't need to pretend anymore
Lmao, really? Of course he is. I know I said I was done with the guy until he went and harassed again and he's back at it literally not even two days later.
It is extremely telling that his takeaway from being told "hey, that person you've been screenshotting and reposting explicitly has you blocked, has had you blocked for months, you could not have possibly missed that you are blocked, and you are engaging in unwelcome and harassing behavior by continuing to do this. You're too old to not know what boundaries are so could you please respect some." was not "oh damn, maybe I went too far."
No his takeaway was "oh, good, someone else mentioned their name so now I can amp up my harassment further by explicitly name dropping him! I'm not responsible for anything because Vee is the one who revealed their identity, not me!" (Ignore the fact that he was encouraging people to go find FantasyInvader before he name dropped him, he was just being slightly less explicit about where to find him). He took me calling him out for his harassment as an invitation for further harassment. Like, honestly I don't even know what to say that could make the problems with his behavior any more clear.
Lemme spell this out clearly: MFer, I name dropped FantasyInvader so people would know how explicitly unwelcome your continued interaction with him was, not so you could gleefully abdicate your conscience and responsibilities for your own actions onto me. The difference between me saying his name and you saying his name is that I am attempting to act as an ally to someone you have been harassing relentlessly, and you are amping up harassment you already got the ball rolling on.
Also, inb4 raxy accuses me of harassing or being a hypocrite with this: I haven't even checked his blog since Saturday night, which I only did to see if he actually blocked me (and at that point I was still not blocked, by the way). Anyway, I'm very sorry that you're so horribly inconvenienced by me asking you for the fourth fucking time to respect other people's boundaries by not screencapping their posts and sending harassment their way just because you don't like their opinions about Edelgard von Fire Emblem. I would have stopped talking about you entirely if you'd just listened on the first attempt. I'm not sure why you think block evading to harass people over a video game character is the same as me explicitly calling out your actual behavior that actually constitutes harassment and is actually extremely harmful to actual real people.
Anyway, again, don't send harassment to his inbox. Keep all criticisms to his abhorrent behavior (or explaining how tag functions work, good lord I still can't believe he's trying to pass off a search function as a shadowy cabal of evil Edelhaters), please and thanks.
