I know Silver's birthday is a long way away. But. Consider for his lounge wear/Sleepwear card, something inspired by this:
The Groovy should also include him holding a can of what I assume is an energy drink. Just because.

I do think that the main "issue" ""with"" webp is that a lot of services don't recognize it, which makes it frustrating for the user.
Obviously we can rally against it and make extensions that force png or whatever, but wouldn't it be more beneficial in the long run to reach out to these platforms that don't accept webp and see if they can change that?

I need to vent here for a bit so pls excuse me but I have to say...it drives me nuts when I see posts like "Eddie keeps looking for women to replace Shannon/be a mother to Chris". What do you mean. What do you MEANNN. The man has dated TWICE in the FIVE years since Shannon died! Hell, SEVEN years, if you wanna count the period she was gone for two years and Eddie didn't think she was coming back! This is a man who we've seen actively reject women who hit on him. He gets annoyed when he thinks people are trying to set him up. He went to that blind date with Vanessa with every intention of rejecting her. We've seen him befriend tons of single women he's comfortable with and has chemistry with without ever trying to hit on them. The (2) times he's dated he had to be TALKED INTO IT by others. When he was with Ana, her getting too close to Chris and the idea of her stepping into Shannon's shoes literally gave him panic attacks. What are we SAYING!!
Okay, when I say Eddie is chasing Shannon in relationships, it is that because both his relationships ended up being centered on the idea of what Christopher needs and the expectation that was placed on Eddie aka a nice latina woman he can settle down with, so he can fill the space Shannon is supposed to have. Because even with Shannon, we see him making statements about the relationship using Christopher and hypothetical child #2, because Eddie clings to the expectation, you get a girl pregnant you marry her, divorce is not an opinion, a boy needs a mother, and Ana and Marisol end up being about Chris because Eddie ends up staying with Ana because Chris was attached to her and Marisol was a glorified babysitter. The idea that he's both chasing Shannon and scared of finding her can and do coexist, and while he was talked into dating Ana because he allegedly needed to move on because apparently there's a clock on how long Eddie Diaz is allowed grieve, the relationship with Ana is defined around Chris because after we see Eddie introduce her to Chris as his girlfriend, the only time we see them alone besides the breakup is in the hospital after the shooting where he's unconscious or the scene is actually about buddie. So she's in the role of woman who's taking care of Chris in a relationship Eddie is "sticking out with" because "she's the first woman I wanted to spend this much time with since Shannon" so the relationship is being defined based on what he knows from his relationship with Shannon. He only gets the panic attacks about it when he realizes they actually look the part and that makes stuff too real and he didn't want that. And with Marisol, every mention of her until he asked her to move in is centered around Chris, she's babysitting the date, she's with Chris while Eddie hangs out with Tommy, and after Eddie does something extreme that makes the relationship serious too fast, considering the way he entered it wanting to recreate what he had when Shannon, he literally says he just wants what he had when he met Shannon, he was also recreating shit because his relationship with Shannon got serious too fast because she got pregnant, so his baseline was if I jump in head first, maybe I can recreate that but he seems to have forgotten his relationship with Shannon didn't work, so he adds the seriousness before he's ready for, granted this time he backs out of it, but again, after that every scene Marisol is in involved Christopher, so she exists to fill the idea that he just needs to find a step mother for Chris he can tolerate. And Kim is literally Shannon, there's no question there.
But hell, if we wanna get technical about it, even Buck ends up tripping into Shannon's space at first, because Buck steps up to help with things about Chris just because he can, so he even ends up taking Buck to family outings he's denying Shannon of, the difference there is Buck doesn't come with a set of external expectations, so Buck is not being smashed into the idea of Shannon like a toddler trying to shove a square peg in a round role, he just slips in through the cracks until the space is his (I think the fact that Buck and Shannon overlap also help Eddie separate the two in his head). And while their relationship has a lot more dept because they built a friendship and partnership external to Chris, even with Buck, Eddie keeps making dramatic statements using Christopher, there's nobody in this world I trust with my son more than you, the will. Eddie's whole world is Chris and he doesn't know how to separate what he needs from what he's expected to provide to Chris when it comes to dating, so he ends up wanting to put someone in the place he thinks Shannon is supposed to be because Shannon is all he knows. He puts himself into bland relationships because he wants the fantasy of growing old with Shannon in the perfect little idealized version of the relationship he has in his head because Shannon died. That is a very real aspect of his love life. Yeah, he's not going around dating multiple women when he definitely can, but the women he does date end up serving a purpose to Christopher and it all circles back to Eddie talking to Buck about Shannon and not being sure if he's bringing Shannon back to their lives for himself or for Chris. He married Shannon because of Chris, Shannon demanded a statement about what they were using Chris, Eddie wanted to propose again because she might've been pregnant again, so he's repeating what he did with Shannon, because Shannon and him never figured out who they were together outside of being parents and Chris couldn't magically keep them together. He is very much chasing her ghost. The fact that he's terrified of actually catching it does not negate that. And considering the way he did find it and it blew up his life, dude has a point in being scared. It's not what he actually needs. It's what he's been taught to want.

Modern AU
Cassandra has a death wish with the drinks she makes. Bela is surprised her sister didn’t get a heart attack. But that is only Bela, what does she know when it comes to the things that her sister does. As long as she’s handling this madness just fine, Bela shouldn’t have any reason to complain.
But the eldest daughter feels obligated to mention what is mixed with the vodka. Because different people like different things right? Some prefer cranberry, others prefer cherry soda, and then there is Cassandra’s mix which is vodka and red bull. Of course, it isn’t for show, Cassandra does drink that monstrosity and thinks most people are okay with this thing.
It isn’t only vodka. On occasion, Bela saw her sister mix espresso with red bull when she needs the extra burst of energy after staying up very late. How her sister didn’t drop dead after drinking that is still something Bela wonders about to this day.
Cassandra never listens though. She thinks it’s okay and as long as her body isn’t rejecting this then why should she stop?
On a morning while the girls were staying over at their aunt Donna’s house, Cassandra did toss espresso in a glass full of the energy drink. It was then that the three sisters saw their very kind and very soft-spoken aunt snap.
Donna is very against energy drinks. To the Italian woman, if you need energy you get it from caffeine that’s either in tea or coffee, and that’s about it. Energy drinks are a huge no in her book and she often speaks about it. To see her niece nonchalantly mix two things that have no business mixing together, the woman was sent over the edge.
Donna might have over-dramatized it. She didn’t have to go as far as to mention how she would tell Alcina that she stood by while her daughter killed herself. Because the woman is convinced that the second Cassandra drinks the beverage, her soul will depart from her body.
Daniela, trying to help her aunt calm down, mentioned that she should relax because “Cass does this a lot you really don’t—“ But she was interrupted because what do you mean she does this frequently?
Donna wonders how Alcina allows this. To which the daughters gulped because their mother doesn’t really know and they figured that what Alcina didn’t know wasn’t going to hurt her. But of course, Cassandra is cocky and thought her aunt wouldn’t even know what red bull is which is apparently not true at all.

maaaaaaaaaaan. ridiculous to be calling DBD "pathetic" because it couldn't get licensing for various final girls. as if it hasn't always been because of some bullshit on the end of the copyright holders. fuck, we would have gotten more material from Hellraiser, had it not been for the copyright holders. we lost Stranger Things temporarily because of the copyright holders being out of touch with fans and greedy. Ghostface exists in the game because luckily, the character of Ghostface isn't actually owned by Big Bad Viacrap.
also like. DBD isn't Fork Knife. it's just not. and if I'm not mistaken-- it's not like Fork Knife has any horror character that DBD doesn't, apart from Eleven and Hopper. Eleven could never be in the game anyway, because any character added has to be over 18/a legal adult (for legal reasons). and we have Steve, Nancy, and Jonathan instead. It makes much more sense that they chose those characters for the game, as this followed S2, which made Steve one of the most popular characters from the show. so much so that he can even contend with Eleven in popularity.
and let's not downplay the fact that DBD does have other, very, very impressive licenses in it. such as Silent Hill. that was the first big thing Konami let happen with the ip in YEARS. Resident Evil was...HUGE. Wesker's chapter brought in an unprecedented number of players and anyone who played survivor at that time knows that for WEEKS, all you would get was Wesker after Wesker. We have Chucky and Tiffany, voiced by their original VAs. Sadako from the original Japanese Ringu, not the American version of the same concept! You can play as the Xenomorph, and the Xenomorph Queen! Vecna, from D&D is a killer, and he is voiced by Mr. Matt Mercer! We have Ash Williams, Alan Wake, Leon. S. Kennedy, Cheryl Mason, and very soon Lara Croft! and then After her-- we are getting Castlevania!! So there is no shortage of incredible of characters from horror that are in this game, and it's disrespectful to act like the people who work on this game don't care enough about it to try their fucking hardest to give fans the best possible licensed chapter dlcs they can. it's not their fault if the copyright holders want something different.
Besides, I think it's gross to suggest that DBD doesn't have a claim to the title of "Horror Hall of Fame" just because it doesn't have specific licensed characters in it. what about all the amazing original characters that the game has? do those suddenly not count, just because they do not include super well-known characters from popular old horror movies? A lot of these popular old horror movies don't include/don't give much of a spotlight to people of colour, so the original chapters often give the devs the room to add diversity to DBD's cast of characters, whereas a license might have otherwise not allowed it. and many of these original characters even have nods to existing horror media, like the End Transmission chapter drawing inspiration from both the horror-survival game SOMA, and the sci-fi horror movie/comic book Virus. Does the hard work that the many talented members of the DBD team put into making this original chapter, among many others, mean nothing, just because Sidney Prescott or Sally Hardesty aren't in the fucking game? I should hope the fuck not.
