While you were thinking about ways to murder her, you were unaware that someone just arrived home.

Now you worry how you're going to sleep at night without his warmth radiating beside you on your bed.

2. You feel guilty for being a total bitch last night.

3. You are worried of where he might have gone. Did he go to his friend's place? Where did he sleep?

It was lunchtime, you said to your friend that you can eat alone. You placed your food tray with a heavy heart.

"Gosh, this day can't get any worse." You mumble, feeling no apetite to eat your food.

While you were busy playing with your food, you didn't know that someone sat infront of you.

Can I ask why you hate OdyDio? I’m not super familiar with Greek mythology yet, and I’ve seen OdyDio as fairly popular so I’m curious about the other side lol (I personally don’t ship it just because I can’t imagine Odysseus with anyone other than Penelope tbh).

Because people are literally mischaracterizing both Odysseus and Diomedes to make it work and it spits in the face of what Homophrosyne means 🙃

I was just neutral about the ship existing because it's like one of those absurd crackships to me but with how popular, fanonized, and just...With HOW people have behaved about it to me ;~;

They also have a fairly large agegap, Odysseus being one of the older kings while Diomedes is one of the youngest. confession sunday (I promise this isn’t hate I’ve just been thinking this for a long while): definitely wish tom and z were in agreement on how private they’d like to keep their relationship. with these last few months, tom was basically a zendaya fan page promoting her for dune and challengers (even though she didn’t need it). If I have to see one more post going "men are so amazing, it's totally valid and revolutionary to love and prioritise the men in your life!! women (especially lesbians) are so mean and prejudiced about men and need to be nicer and check their biases", I'm going to..... well, I'm not going to do much but I'll be super annoyed and unfollow whoever puts it on my dash 🤣

I have many male acquaintances/casual friends IRL, through school. I tend to get along with people regardless of gender. And yet, YET, no matter how polite, friendly, funny, educated and smart they are, with most people (exceptions exist, but this is MOST people), there are inherent problems that come from existing in or alongside Guy Social Spaces as a woman. And Guy Social Spaces wouldn't exist without the guys that uphold them......

In my guy-dominated environment I actually manage to avoid most forms of (non-benevolent; benevolent sexism still sucks and makes me uncomfortable though, and I don't actively befriend guys irl because of how commonplace it is) sexism because I'm openly gay. Not being seen as an object of sexual interest and being able to fit into a bit of a "not like other girls" social role means that I don't actually have to deal with the baggage that comes with heterosexism and the heterosexual sphere (I use heterosexual to refer to all non-platonic relationships between men and women here, btw - for these purposes it doesnt matter what the sexualities of the people involved are). But like.......

I recently went to dinner with some girls and found out that the guys at my school - people that I've found all-around decent and extremely friendly and respectful to me - treat the women they date as objects. Like it's a conquest thing when they """bag""" a good-looking girl, and everyone (literally everyone) shakes hands and congratulates the guy for "getting" an attractive girlfriend. As if she's not right there (she was, she's the one who told me about what happened) and as if she didn't have 50% control of the decision to begin a relationship. And the way they talked about her body and appearance too... It's really gross and objectifying and I didn't know about this because I get to exist outside of it!! But that's really only one thing. Even outside of that, the way that people who don't have to worry about sexism or discrimination treat women and talk about them behind their backs manifests in a million small ways. And the thing is, these guys are ostensibly among "the good ones"!!! These people have intelligent conversations about social justice and equality in class and treat me with respect as a peer because I've proven both my academic and professional cred, that I can take a joke, that I'm funny, that I know enough nerd culture stuff to not be a boring ditzy fake. (The fact that these things are necessary for me to be seen as a peer is, by the way, fucked up.) But their progressive views just don't seem to apply to day-to-day social interactions and relationships....

So idk i dont think this is super eloquently put but yeah. Fuck you if you think being wary or bitching about people in places where they can't see it (ie tumblr rant posting) is a form of hatred lol. Especially when the patriarchy still exists....... you can't "guy positivity<333" yourself out of that one. I don't hate men but the people who say they do must have a reason to. If somebody (with thousands of followers) who isn’t a part of a specific marginalised group habitually seeks out bad takes regarding them to dunk on, isn’t that a little weird? I’m not talking about defending your friends when they’re facing discrimination or dunking on the main bigot character of the day, but regularly seeking out bad takes from small accounts that’d otherwise never seen the light of day.

It’s nobody on here I’m referencing. I feel a little crazy because this person gets heralded as a huge ally and has a lot of people in this marginalised group who’re really devoted to and defensive of them but it just really rubs me the wrong way because they seem really discourse-brained more than anything else.

Being a trans person DOES NOT excuse you for being a thief and a liar. And the fact they're focusing on it instead of admitting their mistakes, shows enough of the poor character to face consequences, inmaturity and insincerity on their behalf. I heavily dislike people that put their gender as an excuse to do awful things, in hopes it gains some sort of sympathy or minimizes the damages done to others.

They told me they had closed the comment sections because they received hateful comments about being trans. (I never knew they were trans until they brought it up btw.) And the comment I left on the fanfic calling them out, was deleted. (Of course, cause God forbid other people find out you're a thief!)

I really thought they were brave for reaching out at first, unlike the two other thieves I got before. But, to my little to no surprise they've not only turned cynic (I mean, they STILL have the courage to deny the plagiarism in the comment they've left on the A03 evidence post)

Besides, they attacking the story but also shamelessly copying it, it's a joke in itself. So... Don't worry. Karma gets people eventually. I've got nothing to hide, the proofs are out. Too bad they can say the same and only make themselves look worst.

Also, kinda makes me think and fear as to what else they've copied from my story. Or other works.

Tbh my perception of the uquiz was that it mainly upset deancrit casgirls, though the deangirls who follow them certainly weren't happy with me either. Granted, I didn't take very much care not to offend people when I posted the uquiz, because I didn't expect it to spread (I intended it for a handful of mutuals and followers). But literally the questions were like, True or False?

Dean is not largely responsible for Sam and Cas's emotional issues.

Dean desires to control everyone in his life. It's a defining facet of his character.

People should have laughed at Dean's jokes more.

Dean is the better brother.

The finale is bad.

And multiple replies in the notes were like, "I just love nuance!" Ah yes... the extreme "nuance" to Dean being largely responsible for two other adults problems and choices... his adult baby children who need to suckle at his nursing tits. <<<< This sort of "mean" language from me developed... almost immediately after the uquiz drama cooled off because I kept seeing even more condescension being hurled at Deangirls on their blogs and at that point had a lot more first-hand experience with the underlying arrogance and mean-spirited desperation for control behind it. I simply had enough.

Literally I had a meme blog at the time I posted that uquiz (well—still do but don't use it much) with about 40 times the followers I had on this account when I posted that quiz in April, and I used my meme account for years to make fun of Sam, Dean, Cas, and a variety of other characters, and my jokes weren't always super nice. People got mad at me sometimes, but never more than two or three at a time. Never once over years of using that blog to post memes every single day (while the show was airing too—so more traffic) did I get a reaction even remotely like the reaction that uquiz got and it is endlessly funny.

I returned here in early 2023 (after being mostly absent in 2022) seeing a lot of very odd things. For one, people were freely interacting with each other more, which I thought was great (I remembered an spnblr characterized by extremely insular attitudes). However, within the notes of some of the posts that I and others were writing, I noticed a thinly-veiled message from certain camps responding: "I don't like this post. I don't like what you said, and neither do my friends, and you should watch what you say."

It was honestly pretty transparent in a few different cases despite, often enough, a friendly mask. I was told very quickly, for example, that discussing Emma as if she was actually Dean's daughter (she quite literally was) is considered old and tired and no one wanted to hear it (this was on a post Emma's parentage had... almost nothing to do with btw, and that more largely, was about hypocrisy in deancrit circles over Dean committing acts of violence against children—and that post had done well, so clearly other people were actually fine with it). Tbh, it felt like, covered by a "friendly", "joking" exterior—someone was putting an arm around my shoulder as I entered a new environment and telling me "the way things are" and how I ought to assimilate.

I was told that making memes pointing out the gigantic blinders people spewing deancrit were wearing was in bad taste, because Dean is "popular", therefore it makes sense that he receives the most criticism (Thor voice: does it really?) and saw other posts stating the same. I saw multiple posts where people said they were "tired" of people talking about Dean... not a specific take on Dean—but Dean as a whole—when absolutely no one was preventing them from controlling what they saw on their own dash, unfollowing accounts that largely discussed characters they didn't want to talk about, or filtering whatever names they wanted—no—that wasn't good enough—they needed to control what other people were posting, and make them stop talking about Dean on their own blogs. They were literally trying to control how other people had fun in their own spaces.

At the same time, I was seeing someone I'd just begun following for a string of posts (and subsequent brigading that occurred over it) getting hounded for nothing more than posting a poll featuring events that canonically occur in Supernatural around the season 14 finale—facts that deancrits apparently found inconvenient enough to spew hate mail over for literal months. I saw multiple accounts I was newly following receive deeply condescending notes and mail from people who engaged with them in blatant bad faith and acted superior for it. I saw even completely harmless "fun" posts get notes from little groups of fans huddled together openly mocking the OP in tags for not sharing their clearly "superior" taste.

Meanwhile, deangirls, as far as I saw, were not engaging in this behavior back. They were endeavoring to be polite when people came onto their blogs to debate with them in condescending tones (and even make ridiculous claims about their personal morals). They weren't going on these people's blogs and talking down to them (as they shouldn't). They were having fun, engaging with people whose company they enjoyed, and deancrits apparently couldn't stand this. It suggested to me and reminded me... well—that deanfans have long been expected to be made of heel skin in fandom circles, to shoulder and accept absolutely any and all criticism of Dean, while samgirls and casgirls consistently tend to be made of tissue paper and can't handle the barest shred of criticism of their fave without having meltdowns (that can and do, in fact, sometimes include mass bullying and hate mail and suicide bait and death threats). The fact that my uquiz was somehow interpreted as "seething hatred" for Sam and Cas was fucking laughable.

I still won't go onto other people's pages or bring disk horse to them. In fact, I'm very protective of my personal dash and curate my experience as much as I can. But I did decide not to be made of heel skin anymore from my personal blog just so other people can be made of tissue paper. If that's received by some as me being mean, well—I'll take a page out of the deancrit playbook and say my feelings are largely their responsibility.

wasn't really going to talk about the ls dunes fiasco since I don't really post about mcr that much anymore, but it kind of ties into something that's been bothering me for a while, which is how much social media plays a role in obsessive fan behaviour

the most obsessive fans always have a close knit circle urging them on and encourage behaviour that anyone outside that circle would see as unacceptable. when people base all their social interactions and relationships around any one singular thing--be it a support group, subculture, or fandom--these communities become more and more insular, and bad behaviour can easily go unchecked.

if any one person where to try and take a step back, either to take a break or object to obsessive or unhealthy behaviour, they risk losing their entire social network, and so the group self reinforces. this isn't helped by the fact that bad, shocking, or outrageous behaviour gets far more attention. fans feel the need to outdo each other in order to stay relevant and funny: "wow, he has such a nice smile. im really happy for them, they seem to be having a lot of fun this tour" gets a lot less attention than "i want to get him pregnant."

don't get me wrong, there's nothing really wrong with jokes like that. i've even made a few of them myself (hello, op of the post comparing frank's bald head to an eos lipbalm here. that still haunts me btw). the problem is that their success inspires some people to push the jokes even further. and over time, without taking time away from the fandom or engaging in other interests, stupid jokes turn into talking to the members inappropriately on social media or digging into their personal lives and childhoods to find new "content" to post in order to stay relevant. this is the exact kind of behaviour which can feed in to the feeling of entitlement that lead to someone camping out outside the ls dunes tour bus for hours

the only solution i can think of is to just. log off once and a while. get other interests, get into other artists, get friends that aren't into mcr. go for a walk once and a while, geez. i know it can be hard, but its so much more rewarding. speaking from personal experience, you dont have to get to the point of stalking famous people for online fandom to have become unhealthy for you.

unfollow people! follow other people who post about a different interest or hobby that you want to get into! make an effort to spend less time on social media! take up reading, knitting, painting etc! fandom will still be there when you get back, but you'll be able to engage with it in a lot more healthy way

I wish someone could explain to me the sheer amount of vitriol that gets directed at Richard Ma**** (don't want this in his tag). He's not nearly famous enough for it. Like, I get when very famous celebs (like Harry or Taylor or the big Marvel stars like the one who fans I incurred the wrath of one day lol) attract strange amounts of haters... but Richard? He is so quiet. He is barely present on social media and hasn't really been for like 4-5 years? He makes an effort to not get papped or go to events... he doesn't say anything. And yet, on any given day the last 5 years you could go to any number of admittedly awful places and see hate. Some of it is maybe me not having a sense of humor (see the hilarious twink collector jokes). But some of it is just... cruel. And right now it's apparently at its peak and all because his ex bf is now being public with an out guy. People have often said Richard is a coward for not coming out, or said he is somehow forcing his bfs to not be out (the other one was very much out already??).

And like, if you want to be happy for anyone who decides that what is good for them is to come out, absolutely? There's no question. So be as happy as you want for his ex. But why attack Richard? Isn't Richard allowed his own journey? Don't people always say people don't have to come out? And if everyone already believes Richard is gay/bi/not straight because he's essentially out except for announcing it... then why does he have to?

Anyway, I guess the laughing at, the tagging Richard in photos to mock him or rub it in his face, it upsets me. Cause he's a person? And a person who is maybe probably hurting cause he was left? By someone he seemed to love?

Yeah I was super uncomfortable about oh this other country must treat women horribly because it's not western insinuation and generalisation there so I explained no thats western media's problem.

I was like uhhh there's subgenres in media there too my guy. Though considering they seemed mad I was giffing turkish dramas but not regular dramas I pointed out why I give turkish ones more of a try. I just stick in my romcom bubble usually though, but none of my fave actresses are in romcoms at the minute and if you've seen me mention anything lately it's that I don't enjoy dramas or historical type shows, in any language, but if my favourite actors or actresses are in them I'll give them a go and usually I enjoy myself seeing them. Theres a ton of really good dramas and historicals and all other types I'm sure but they're not my genre.
