did you guys know i'm a writer? yeah i had no idea either.
anyway, AMAPOLAS IN THE DESERT is a new short story (3.4k words) that just went up for free on patreon if anyone's feeling zesty and wants to read about a displaced latino roaming the american southwest, coming across a questionable watering hole, getting flirted with by trickster gods, and getting torn asunder by a trans woman who may or may not be a primordial deity.
but also, for like a whole $1, you can get access to a T4T sci-fi romance short (8k words) inspired by H.G. Wells' The Time Machine.
but also also, i've got a couple of nonfiction essays dropping next year where i set out to piss people off by arguing that their favorite pieces of media are grossly mis-categorized (in a fun and non-judgy way; and who knows, it might make it onto podcast or even video format if i can afford to outsource editing). among other things.

@just-prime @rowanraven08 sry for tagging you guys so much but i have been struck with a deep need to do stuff related to dante exclusively so here is some random Dante trivia lol
He likes to pretend like he hates everything and is completely put together but if you are careful and quiet you can catch him dancing to queen and singing along in his pyjamas and socks (especially Invisible Man)
He kinda hates the Lukas' cuz he thinks they are super pretentious and clique-ish (which is fair but also he is SO pretentious so it kinda makes him a hypocrite)
Super judgy but doesn't even realise how mean he is cuz, ya know, autism (this is still a tmasona after all)
Mostly uses he/him pronouns cuz those are the pronouns everyone assumes he uses but he is agender so he doesn't really care what pronouns are used to address him
Works at a library and loves to shelve books and people watch
SUPER nosy actually but doesn't like to talk to people so he just kinda lurks and eavesdrops
Semi-verbal autism so his favourite thing is when he is chilling with Brett and Silas and he can just listen to them with out being expected to contribute to the conversation beyond the occasional nod
He also loves listening to podcasts because, again, he can listen to ppl talk without being expected to reply
A super random music taste but he really likes Matt Maeson, Queen, and oldies like Bobby Darin and Frank Sinatra
EDIT I FORGOT HIS FAVOURITE BOOK IS HOUSE OF LEAVES WHAT A WEIRDO

Disc World Book Club Thoughts- Monstrous Regiment
Pages 33-62
Hey @anna-neko, and uh anyone who's still following this... haaaa remember this....
Tumblr media
Anyways, ha! Me when I lie!!!! Look, the end of the semester started kicking full gear and then holidays but I'M BACK(what I always say, but I swear I mean it this time!) Ugh, as I keep reiterating in this series, reading hard for me, not because of the act of reading in itself, but the motivation it requires for me to stay focused long enough on a book to actually finish it. In the past I was using the the audio book for quick 5-20 minutes stints, but I was mostly doing the combo of audio+book because I want to process everything. Anyway, I made the executive decision to treat this book like a podcast which means I am missing more little details BUT it has made getting through the book easier. That sounds like the book is a slug to get through, and that's not true, I'm really enjoying this book. It's just, getting my brain to actually start reading is a hassle and a half. I've gotten through an hour of book in a week though, so that's pretty exciting!
Anyway, onto scatter book thoughts as I was having them!
YOOOOO SOMEONE'S PREGOOO
Yah you spoiled that to but I finally got that point! Also, I forgotten WHO it was but was SHUFTI
Actually we have a small problem where I just can't remember half of the casts names so ESPECIALLY their last names, but me as of 1/8/2024 has written their full names down so hopefull I'll remember now. Also I read Blouse's fanwiki cause I forgot who he was and spoiled myself a little but nothing too serious I don't think. Oopsies! Anyways, I have their names written down so no more confusion!
EYOOO STRAPPI'S A COWARD AND THEY'RE GONNA FIGHT IN THE FRONT LINES
The way I was thinking "Polly's crossdressing!" like no, she's literally just being her normal gender!!!!! We love a girl crossdressing as a guy crossdressing as a girl.
In all seriousness, I really enjoyed that whole sequnce of her beating up guys crossdressing as a girl, and the Maldict joining her and the whole Jackrum taking the as prisoners and talking to them. Just a fun section of the book I really enjoyed. I love Polly and Maladict's friendship! It's so fun, and they got great chemistry
Also, interesting how the whole thing is that men go to war cause they're strong and stuff, but the first enemies Polly fights, she does as a girl. Idk just neat!
Also I've already mentioned this, but I'm obbssed with Polly as a character, she's so interesting because she's so judgy of the others. And she's the epitome of the "I can tell crowd."(looks at her being surprised that Tonker's a girl) Obviously, she's not doing it for transphobia reasons, but it's facinating to me how her stress of getting caught and stuff leads to her being overly critical of how the other girls are trying to pass. Like, Lofti got caught for saying "sugar" but Polly caught herself not cursing either, also I think she starts making the active effort to curse more after that. Just interesting how she adds on her act of being a guy with everyone else's mistakes.
American moment: Me learning bugger is vulgar?????
YOO THEY'RE REVALING THEMSELVES!!! I thought Maladict was included in that, but I guess not cause she was interrupted.
Also I think???? Jackrum is openinly showing he knows???(lets be real he knows they're girls). He refered to them as ladies but then used he/him for Polly, so I'm kinda confused on that front, but I'll just wait for a scene will clarify that for me
Also learning they’re reasons for joing are all pretty interesting!
Anyways this quote was cool (quote bellow)
It was for the other one, the little lesson that life sometimes rams home with a stick: you are not the only one watching the world, other people are also people, while you watch them they watch you, and they think about you while you think about them. The world isn't just about you.
OH DEATH MENTION!!!! This is a war book so he'll probably appear in this book. Obviously I don't want any of the characters to die, but I've heard GREAT things about Death, so I'm excited to meet him!(hopefully is a near-death moment and not a real death moment, but lets face it, someone's gonna have to die)
They're cutting to Vimes and stuff, and they're defineitly some "wink wink" "nudge nudge" moements that I'm missing, not to say that I'm not understanding anything, but I can just tell I'm in the know, you know. That being said, the sections with Vimes are pretty intresting and Angua seems pretty cool.
Also idk why but "bitch" caught me off gaurd??? Apparently they've been cursing and shit thorughout the book but bitch is the first curse word that actually means something to me. I'm sure they've said some other curse words that I recognize but I stopped reading the books for a couple a months. Also I have the mouth of a sailor, so it's not like a care, I guess I'm just confused that it surprised me. Also, Polly herself said she doesn't curse much so that probably means that the curse was light in the book since it's in her POV(also, curse words like "damn, bastard, etc. mean nothing to me")
Also I don't know how elaborate on this besides, "Wow, this is totally not a commentary on how British people view Christianity and the royal family!"
[insert pic]
Yah yah, jokes aside, I grew up agnostic and in the US, so not much to say beside monarchy bad(hot take am I right) Tho, tbh even the obvious connection is the royal family, man sometimes to does seems like certain groups worship politicians on a religious level. Also, there is smoothing to be said about a lot of manipulation tactics of authoritarian governments is the whole 'make them have problems' and then say, "I am the solutions to all your problems." And so with all the abominations being things that are so bad that it leads to the citizens not being able to eat well, it makes it easier to get the population to manipulate say that "X" is the bad guy.
Interesting seeing Polly have disphoria. I don't know if that's the terminology they would've used when the book came out, but Polly being like "damn, do I really that convincing as a boy" and feeling akward that everyone was 100% sure she was a guy. Like that is the goal, cause she's trying to be undercover, but also it's weird knowing people percive you the wrong gender, you know.
Also side note but I recently watched Blue Eyed Samurai, so spoilers for the first ep, but Mizu is also an undercover girl, and it's like damn, it like, in alot of these stories, these women are able to pass as guys cause they're natrual frame helps them alot in that regard. Like I have pretty boxy frame, so maybe when I was younger I could've passed as a guy if I tried, but me now, that would be way harder cause of my chest. And idk like, man it'd be cool if I could try to pass as another gender pretty easily you know?? I'd just have to work on my voice cause it's super high. Tho, I have been gendered as a guy cause of my hair + buttondown combo, so who knows, maybe I could. Anyway, back to the story
Not me reading a really dark scene of Polly and Maladict finding bruttally murdered bodies and laughing at the, "they would not grow older" line. SOLL GET IT TOGETHER!!! Anyway, despite what that sentence may imply, that whole scene was like, wow that's dark. Like the scene in Mulan right after girl worth fighting for.
Watching Polly gasp for air was like AAAAAAAH
Also Maladict having to contain herself cause of the blood, just an intresting scene!
I'm surprised Polly was saying " I thought we were the good guys" cause she seemed to have pretty good media literacy(for being a Boragravian) like, she was mention how the newspapers would proabbly not be trustworthy(cause she only knows her current governement), and she knew that the whole "Boragravia is winning" stance that everyone was saying is wrong. Also way back earlier in the book she talks about there always being a war, but I guess she wasn't being satrical??? (here's the quote)
There was always a war. Usually they were border disputes, the national equivalent of complaining that the neighbor was letting their hedge grow too long. Sometimes they were bigger. Borogravia was a peace-loving country in the midst of treacherous, devious, warlike enemies. They had to be treacherous, devious, and warlike, otherwise we wouldn't be fighting them, eh? There was always a war.
Guess Polly wasn't immune to propaganda (insert Garfield pic). I guess it makes sense tho, cause it's hard to process that your homecountry does horrible shit.
Also intresting how Jackrum dismissed it, like, I guess I thought he'd be more in the know that the government aint the best. Idk, he's pretty intresting, cause Idk his full stance on things. He telling Blouse that the news is coming from the enemy, but like, it's hard to deny that Boragravia's doing well. Guess that now that he's fully encharge we get to see him more than him just him being a nice relif from Strappi. Anyway, WOW Jackrum is a nuanced charcter???!!! Sarcasm aside, I think I need to read a bit more get my full thoughts on him.
Also something something, they're getting deprogrammed(for example, shufti and wazzer realizing they're losing) through experiencing war.
Anyway TONESHIFT Polly trying not to kill Blouse while shaving him is hilarious
K where I left off!!! Strappi(or so Polly thinks, and I'm inclined to believe her) has stolen a bunch of shit from the girls, so shit's about to go down. Poor Maladict doesn't have her cofee, and POLLY'S HAIR IS MISSING.AAAAAAH! Tbh, I thought her letter from Paul would be missing, so at least she still has that.
It's like 2:00 rn, so I'm pretty tired but I'm pretty hooked on the book rn, and maybe this semester I'll read more! Well, Feburary's gonna be busy cause I'll be auditioning to schools, but I'll try to make space to read. Also apperantly the hoopla has sections they've marked as chapters???? Tbh, it's proably whenever the audiobook plays the little military music. Anyways, I think another issue with the discworld books is that Terry Prachett doesn't do chapters, so I don't have that dopamine hit of "chapter completed!" But yah, maybe I'll try to keep track of the "chapters," to see if that motivates me more. Anyway, uh, I'll proabbly quee this for like 3:00 cause it's 8:00 in England and the book series is more popular over there. Okay, think that's it I'll talk next week.
Ps: idk how I indedent in the bullets, did it by accident on laptop and then copypasted it, I don’t know how I did that

i was 100% joking about Bobby losing his bestie in Michael and roping Athena into his Old Man Shenanigans just because the episode about Tanya and Joanna was an “Athena battles her demons” episode and not a “Bobby & Michael are nosy bitches” episode or one of the “the whole family is chaotic while running around the streets of LA” episodes where Athena usually plays the straight man but THEN we get another curse episode which combined the “the 118 is stupid & Eddie is a judgy old man” parts of firefam episodes and the “Bobby gleefully sticks his nose where it does Not belong” part of the Old Man Hang Outs except he did this with Athena instead of her disapproving!!!
this man really DID lose his bestie and then turn to Athena and went “so me and michael used to get weekly pedicures and then see which one of us could solve the crime in the latest true crime podcast first and since you’re my wife, legally you have to do that now” and instead of begging bobby to get a normal hobby, she just sighed and said “fine but only if i can bring diaz so we can be haters together” and I think that’s beautiful

It’s March 13th, so here!
I’m looking for a normal romantic Epithet Erased matchup:
I am a 5’2 plus-sized afab person (he/they) and I am strongly confused about my orientation, so feel free to pair me with whatever gender. I have thick, long dark brown hair that I just wear straight. I only ever wear hoodies and jeans, and I hate to show off my body. I have glasses, the kind you’d see on a dad in a movie that takes place in the 50s. I am an incredibly anxious person and I have autism, depression and ADHD. I am a kind and honestly rather shy person, but I find myself being rather judgy and quick to anger at the same time. I have a hard time making new friends and I prefer to stick to people I already know. I love to play DnD, listen to podcasts, draw, ramble nonsensically, watch video essays and cry over tiny problems that don’t even bother me. I’ll be happy to see your result!! ^_^
I match you with Giovanni Potage.

Ashley Wagner and Adam Rippon's podcast is good - i laughed out loud more than once each episode-- they don't go into much detail with analysis in an event recap, but they tell stories from their careers, their perspective is inside, plus throwaway judginess like they think wearing gloves on ice is a sign of weakness, as if someone's afraid to fall or get their hands wet-- like would never have thought of that as a possible take. and hating character bows - that once the music's over, you want to see real emotion from the person, and that as a competitor she hated how long they took because she just wanted to get out on the ice and warm up

Malevolent screamalong, part 7! Eps 20-22
Let's head into the creepy city that's probably full of cultists for the guy we're trying to avoid, that sounds like a plan, right?
All right with an episode title like the King and heading straight into the City, I am waiting for John 1.0 to show up. The Hive Mother. Senor Amarillo.
Side-note: I have no idea if King in Yellow is an existing Lovecraftian reference or something new because I am not quite *that* far down the uh. I was about to say tentacle rabbit hole but that is SOMETHING ELSE entirely. I am not that well steeped in the Cthulhu mythos.
"Subtlety is not our strength." No shit!
Arthur do you remember that John is le fucked if you are le fucked?
I hope you guys are talking in your head because otherwise you're SUPER conspicuous.
LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR~~~~
and John all "I am taking psychic damage, this is gnarly"
OH that can't possibly be a ~blatant trap~ could it?
Yeah, safe to say, that this guy is *not all there*
I was almost betting this guy would be also Arthur, doppelganger
"The heart of Hastur" *side-eyes John*
*eyes emoji*
"Through trial and tribulations (though not my own)" XD XD XD
I kind of love this asshole
"Lilith you bitch" *snerk*
I could 100% imagine Taliesin voicing this guy
Cain, okay, Cain, that's my new Asshat, I look forward to his sudden but inevitable betrayal
"All right, time to dick around and do all the side quests"
. . . Does the Dog Die Dot Com
*dirty glares at podcast author* NOT KOSHER
So Arthur had a sibling???
I imagine this would be a pretty bitching movie game pre-battle sequence
"Unscathed?!" I would have pointed at the crippling guilt and depression first
King, buddy, are you *jealous*?
And now, fun times!
. . . I'm not surprised things went that way
Yeah I'm kinda okay with not having THAT narrated. And now it's time for Cain to do his thing!
"We were in an accident" No, actually nothing about that was an accident
Arthur, dude, why did you even try that
I guess that was a . . . human stress reaction, but still, you know the deal you made, Arthur, why would you think there's any wiggle room
It is fun having this rerun with the balance of power reversed, I'm more invested in this dynamic
"What did you do?!"
"You weren't this difficult the first time"
It is fun having John being all "What the actual fuck happened to you"
"Than you could ever be" - Arthur, you're being judgy
And then the changeover to calling him Yellow~
Hmm
"Run" That is quite possibly the worst move you can make
Arthur you do kinda owe Yellow that apology
"The Red Right Hand" oh that's not ominous
And suddenly terrible second-hand embarrassment
*Cringing*
Goddamnit you disasters definitely shouldn't be out in public
Okay I'm not sure if this is point for or against them being a cult
*CRINGE INTENSIFIES*
Ohhhh my god okay the "people are WATCHING" is more anxiety inducing than anything else
and Yellow has a thing for dancing???
If you think animals don't have hope you have never had a dog deeply intensely yearning for your dinner
Ah and there's the name drop
(Fun fact: my high school made us recite that poem our senior year so I recognized it)
And oh ho, I see that that little hat-tip (Is there hope? Who knows!)
Next ep! I guess this is a flashback?
Yellow, deadpan, reciting the damages of the night before
"YES OKAY please stop"
Arthur, you could stop bullshitting unnecessarily
. . . . Deeeeeep sighs and we're back to the see-saw
OH actual progress, good job, Arthur!
Yellow all "You wanted a relationship?"
"Because I didn't want to be an asshole"
Cleanliness is next to godliness and dear god did you need that
Oh hey we found the cults!
Yellow "Uh shit that's BIG I don't want to fuck with that should have picked a bigger body to occupy"
I was wondering about the snowshoes
Yellow all "I DON"T KNOW ABOUT THESE HUMAN THINGS"
I'm with Arthur in the "Knowledge is power!"
So they delved too deeply here
Whomever lived here is dead because you need their loot and are terrible at interacting with living creatures, see: negative charisma score
Ohhhh that was exactly the wrong direction wasn't it
Monch and cronch time
And there we go again~~~
I am going to be smart-ish and stop here for the time being because I bet the next lot are going to run together, so we'll leave Arthur being nommed on. He's had worst resting spots. He'll be fiiiiine.

two things that make me very aware of how much I'm used to constant internet access
watching my silly little reality shows and remembering they don't have any phones/devices for as long as they are on the show. maybe i'd also go unhinged in those circumstances and should be less judgy
getting my eyes dilated. I've cleaned my apartment and listened to the byzantine empire podcast for an hour, when I can read words on the internet again please

In the United States, the daily news accounts of Twitter’s decline and possible demise can give the impression that Elon Musk’s disastrous early days as the owner of the social media company is a largely American story.
One day, the headlines are dominated by Musk polling his Twitter followers to determine whether former U.S. President Donald Trump should be allowed to return to the platform. Unsurprisingly, given Musk’s politics, he was. Another day, the public learns that Marjorie Taylor Green, one of the most radical exponents in Congress of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” movement, has been granted renewed access to Twitter. And at virtually the same moment, Canadian psychologist and media personality Jordan Peterson, a long-standing provocateur in the United States’ culture wars and notable opponent of the protection of rights of transgender and nonbinary people, was welcomed back to Twitter.
Anticipating widespread criticism, Musk, who often comes across as a gleeful adolescent and exhibitionist, tweeted, “Hope all judgy hall monitors stay on other platforms – please, I’m begging u.”
Some prominent U.S. commentators have dismissed what is going on at Twitter. Marketing professor and podcast host Scott Galloway, speaking on CBS News’s Face the Nation on Sunday, said the platform is “not a national treasure.” But there are many reasons to mourn the ongoing spectacle. With all of its shortcomings, Twitter has been a powerful agent in the democratization of information over the past generation.
Depending on one’s age, it may be all too easy to ignore or forget what the human information ecosystem was like a mere generation ago. When I was starting out as a journalist in the early 1980s, the news in my country, the United States, was utterly dominated by a small number of companies, starting with the so-called national newspapers such as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post. Most Americans got their news from the three national television networks—CBS, NBC, and ABC—which mostly took their leads straight from the big papers, allowing their coverage decisions to be especially guided by the Times’s front page.
In that era, the United States had a far more vibrant local information scene, with strong competition among daily newspapers in even medium-sized cities. Most of these have disappeared or been gutted by the internet. But for news of the world, even financially strong local papers often relied heavily on the syndicated offerings of the three big national papers.
I have worked at one time or another of my career on every continent. And although it is difficult to make a blanket statement covering the news industry globally, for the people of many—and perhaps most—countries, the news diet at this time was far thinner than in the United States and often dominated by official government publications and broadcasters.
Social media in general, and perhaps Twitter in particular, have helped destroy the old information system. By serving as what economists would call a “multiplier,” they have vastly expanded the range of offerings that we are all exposed to, as well as the reach of both smaller players in the information economy and individuals. Like almost anything so consequential, this has not come without problems and drawbacks, which I will come to in a moment. First, though, more needs to be said about what Musk has been destroying.
Others have commented on the destruction of all sorts of human networks and communities as Twitter suffers a battering from within. If predictions of Twitter’s ultimate demise are not utterly premature, I, for one, will find it immeasurably harder to do what I do. As a journalist with far-flung interests, that means staying abreast of information in every corner of Africa, in northeastern Asia, in academic history circles in the United States, in the publishing industry, and in many other areas. In addition to its reach, Twitter has allowed people like me to curate their sources by following people who are reliably interesting—and relatively reliable in the quality of information they share.
In recent days, I have been experimenting with some of the new alternatives to Twitter, such as Post.News. But however promising some of them look, it will be hard—or, more likely, impossible—to reconstruct some of what years of careful Twitter use had built for me and millions of others.
If these strike readers as relatively mundane considerations, there is one other way to think about the damage being done to Twitter that is the opposite of parochial, American or otherwise. Galloway notwithstanding, the destruction of Twitter would be a geopolitical catastrophe not only for the United States but also for the democratic world in general. With his shallow understanding of freedom of speech, these stakes seem to escape Musk.
As the world’s leading authoritarian society, China’s response to Twitter and other Western social media was to allow only stringently policed conversations on authorized (or at least not forbidden) topics on platforms such as Weibo. Musk’s free speech absolutism might seem like the opposite, but, in fact, it represents an abdication of responsibility and good sense in the name of his personal ideology.
It is true that Twitter has long allowed some level of disinformation and fake news on its platform, and that in some circles there was always lots of shouting, falsity, and ugliness. But the company expended considerable energy to keep things within bounds and enforce standards. By allowing virtually anything to appear on Twitter—no matter how hurtful, untrue, irresponsible, or even hateful—through the gutting of the platform’s Trust and Safety unit, Musk is destroying free speech in the name of saving it.
If things continue down this path, we will end up in a situation where democratic countries will have proved themselves as incapable as authoritarian ones in providing for untrammeled communication and the sharing of information globally.
This, and not Musk’s shallow and sterile vision, would be the true defeat of free speech. And there is no one who would be happier than its most powerful sworn enemies, the authoritarians. Listen carefully, and you may already hear them clucking.

Was going through my drafts (aka notes app) and came across a prompt/idea I wrote down a while ago and I think could be fun for a sterek fic
Here's the rough idea:
1 sentence summary= sleep depravation/avoidance and thriller show/podcast/audiobook make a crazy stiles
Stiles has been obsessively binge watching a thriller horror show or been obsessively listening to a thriller horror podcast/audiobook.
Either way, ever since finishing it yesterday, he's been a bit jumpy and paranoid (which he knows is irrational because the story was probably mostly not real but it sounds and feels like it could've happened to someone, you know?)
So, cut to the evening, where stiles and Derek are having an evening in to watch a movie together, snack, talk and make out without disturbance (wink wink).
But Stiles is feeling a bit uneasy, is twitchy. The room is dark ish (bc of movie night) and he's suddenly so aware of Derek sitting next to him. Then Derek decides to lean more onto/into Stiles and puts his arms around Stiles' shoulder. Stiles slightly jumps. Derek wants to ask him if he's ok but Stiles waves it off.
But Stiles starts to get these paranoid thoughts. That are irrational but he can't shake off. Like, is Derek trying to strangle him? His arm seems a bit tightly wrapped around Stiles, a bit close to the throat no? And now he's rubbing his finger up and down Stiles' neck? Stiles starts sweating. Has Derek been replaced by a shapeshifter? Or possessed?
Best play it safe, so he tries to act normal. (Derek will later tell him how very much he failed at that and was very obvious about his weird behavior. So. Much. Movement.)
To maybe help Stiles settle and help find rest, Derek heated up some milk and gives it to him. Stiles burns his tongue on the hot milk and accuses Derek of being an imposter. "my Derek would never try to burn off my tongue. He loves my talking too much." "Stiles you're being crazy. I told you to be careful and wait bc it's hot" "you didn't" "I did. But you probably didn't hear me with how crazy you've been acting all night"
Derek tries to get Stiles to talk about what's been going on. Stiles explains about how he's been feeling since finishing the show/podcast/audiobook. And that he may have not slept the past week so that he could listen/watch without breaks.
Derek's judgy eyebrows make an appreance. Some cuddles happen. Derek keeps the light in the bedroom on for the night. They decide that they will listen/watch to thriller stuff together in the future.
The sheriff/John laughs when Derek tells him about it during their father in law/son in law brunch the next day. It's not the first time Stiles has let sleep deprivation and a good thriller story get the better of him.

the great thing about listening to D&D podcasts like @jointhepartypod is that occasionally you get to think thoughts like "fuck me, that's a judgy fucking aubergine" in the middle of consolidating text on the crusades of the 14th and 15th centuries.

this is maybe ridiculous but whenever I reply on main to stuff in the other things I like (mostly ttrpg podcasts and ofmd) I worry that people are gonna be like judgy that my main is a wc blog or something
it happened naturally too - the original @ was pocketspores which was a reference to like. I guess king of the hill which I haven't actually watched I just know pocket sand, combined with spores for moonshine cybin. I was just staring at the screen knowing that I wanted to make a tumblr again but not what @ to make and I didn't want to use my old one even though it's still up, I wanted a clean start in terms of not having to weed out blogs that post about stuff I'm not interested in anymore
sidenote but my old starwars rp blog is still up! it was from the days when you could like use html to make your blog autoplay a song from the internet -- idk if the kids (lmao) are still doing that but that fucking ruled and it made me so happy like so so happy to hear it (it played "venus" from the holst planets suite and rey's theme from the sequels)
this is just infodumping on main hours I guess. I'm procrastinating doing some paperwork I said I'd do before bed so I'm gonna do that
