Sooo… did Luz and King meet their adoptive grandparents?
They've definitely met Gwen, but Eda's explained to Luz why she doesn't want to be around her mother so Luz is kinda iffy about her and King just kinda thinks she's a bounty hunter who came out of retirement for the reward on Eda's head, since pretty much all of his interactions with Gwen until Keeping Up A-Fear-Ances have been Eda and Luz sneaking around or running away from her.
Their first run in with Gwen was a few weeks after finding Eda. They were in the Market, and they ran into her. She immediately squealed about grandbabies, and Eda just scoops Luz up and bolts, much to Luz's confusion.
She's a little upset by it too, since she'd been starting to feel really homesick at that point, so Eda tells her that she's cursed. She doesn't tell Luz that she transforms into the Owl Beast, she just kinda leaves it like a vague illness.
She explains to Luz that Gwen is doing what she thinks is best, but what Gwen thinks is best isn't what Eda thinks it's best, and she won't listen which hurts Eda a lot, so Eda doesn't want to be around her, at least not until she stops and listens. Luz understands this pretty well, so she's more sad that Gwen won't listen than anything.
And Luz met Dell once, when she was about nine. They were all at Eda's human junk stall, and it was a busy day in the market. Eda had been planning on taking a break and buying lunch for everyone at a food stall just across from their stand, a common occurence on market days, but there were so many customers she couldn't catch a break.
Luz offered to go get their usual order herself, and manages to convince Eda to let her take the money and get it. She makes it to the stand and buys the food alright, but when she's trying to get back there's a swell in the crowd and she gets shoved past Eda's stand.
Luckily for Luz, the old man she trips over when she gets out of the crowd seem's pretty nice he looks like Eda so when he asks her if she's alright and helps her back up, she asks him if he can help her get back to the Owl Lady's stand through the crowd. Dell agrees, walking Luz mort of the way to the stand, but hanging back when they get close enough she can get through the finally dying crowd.
Eda comments that she was starting to get worried about Luz with how long she was taking, and Luz mentions how she got caught in the crowd, but a nice old man helped her back. When she tries to point him out to Eda, he's already gone.

If Flapjack is named flapjack because of pancakes then Dells palismans name is Sunny for sunny side up eggs. No- I don't care about historical inaccuracies. No- I will not be taking criticism at this time, Thank you.

I reckon when Eda was a kid she'd position her bushy hair over her face and say, "Look Dad! I've grown a beard like you!" and Dell would be all 😭
That's so cute, Eda was definitely a Daddy's Girl!

[Image ID: A monochrome warm, green image of Hunter, Dell, and Caleb from the Owl House Brother's Keeper AU. They're sitting in a semicircle on stools, all holding whittling knives and unfinished wood carvings. Hunter is grown up and wearing his post series button up and apron. Caleb has short hair, overalls, and a peg leg. Hunter is gesturing, talking while Caleb laughs, and Dell listens with a smile. /End ID]
The boys having a good post series! :) I have conflicted feelings on the finale but at least it didn't mess up any of my plans for this au. In fact it canonized some of my end game ;)

Okay but the fact that Hunter got adopted by Dell and Gwendolyn is very poetic
Hunter never had a real parental figure before
Dell and Gwendolyn have Lilith and Eda but didn’t get a chance to see both of their daughters grow up due to the curse. In a way, having Hunter as their son feels like a second chance for them
Also, annoying little brother Hunter to Lilith and Eda
