Study Diary #8

Guys, I DID IT!!! I finally have a DISTINCTION - my score for the last essay assessment came and I got a score of 72🌟. It might not seem like much but in Literature courses at University level you are not awarded marks above 74-75 (University Policy in UK) as anything above 75 is considered to be worthy enough of being published in literary journals. I am literally so happy right now that I can't stop smiling 😁. The professor really liked my research and remarked that I interacted with the brief, research, and analysis materials very deeply. I guess part of the happiness comes from the fact that I focused on Multilingualism amongst students in India - as there are not many research materials that are focused on my country and this in a way validates my efforts in studying and researching about my country - that too in a foreign place.

Study Diary #6

When I saw that the scores for my 'Victorian Explorations' module was put up today - I panicked a bit before opening it because I was expecting the worst - but this is the highest score I have gotten till now and I am on cloud 9. Back in the Merit Zone BABY!!!The professor found a lot of my points and quotations interesting and that makes me feel happy about all the hard work that I put into this. I can now do my grocery shopping in peace now.

P.S. I know that I only end up putting my results here but soon I will start my dissertation research and will try to post more aesthetic study pictures❤️❤️❤️.

It hasn’t been a good ride for a while, so sadness resonates with me sooo much more than any other emotion, and not by choice. I was actually really optimistic as a child and teen, but things have been hard lately and I feel lost.
