I know this is sudden, but I've made the decision to close audio commissions.

I'm sorry if there was anyone who'd been waiting for a chance to commission me. I haven't made the decision lightly, but it's a mix of getting more commissions lately and having to turn more and more down for them making me uncomfortable and people not reading my rules before trying to commission or request things from me. But even if that hadn't been happening, the process of making the commissions has just been getting more and more stressful for me due to personal life stuff (for those who don't watch my Twitch streams I'm working hard on trying to move out and get my own place by July as fast as possible as I'm not in a good living situation at the moment), how busy I am with other things, and just recording in general has been feeling a more stressful and harder to get done lately. The best thing for me to do for my mental health at the moment is to close commissions. I don't plan to keep them closed for forever. In the future whenever I re-open them there'll probably be a limited amount of slots per month and Patreon members will likely get first dibs on any commission slots. I have no idea when the re-open will be, perhaps it won't be until after I move and I don't know when that will be. Everyone's still free to request things, and requests from Patrons still have a higher chance at getting picked. Sorry this is sudden but it's a decision I need to make, I hope you guys understand.

fundamentally a slayer is a human sacrifice. and a great deal of the conflict in the early seasons stems from buffy's rebellion against that reality. she doesn't just want to live, she wants to live like a person who has a future, who isn't fated to die before her brain finishes developing. and then the monks create dawn, this version of buffy who isn't the slayer, who actually has a life ahead of her. she is the living embodiment of everything buffy has ever fought for. the idea that dawn could also become a human sacrifice is unthinkable, so buffy chooses to finally accept her own death, the very thing she's been fighting against this whole time, in order to let this version of herself that has something to look forward to live. except it doesn't work! and she has to actually figure out how to live anyway, and how to coexist with the version of herself that she wishes she could be. insane shit. storyline of all time.

My partner @julia-b00 suddenly has a very expensive dental bill that needs paying and in order to afford it her and myself are hosting a joint donothon across our streams with our own individual different goal rewards. The full dental bill is $3500 and I will make further push goals if we get past what I’ve listed so far.

After hitting $3500 any extra money raised will go towards my moving out fund to help me move out of my current bad living situation. Due to the timing of this donothon and it’s importance, my moving out donothon has been cancelled as it feels unfair to do two big donothons right after each other. So if you would like to contribute to help me move out, please help us hit Julia’s $3500 goal first, and then anything extra will go to me.

I will stream for a minimum of 6 hours per day and a maximum of 10 hours per day. If we hit 10 hours in one day I will continue the stream on later days until the timer hits zero.

How this works: Julia and I are sharing the same $3500 goal, which you will be able to see on her Ko-Fi page. Donating money to her Ko-Fi while Julia is live unlocks rewards on her list, donating while I am live unlocks rewards on my list. These are group goals meaning if two people donate $25 each that unlocks all goals up to and including the $50, they're not individual goals. For example: if Julia raises $500 during her first stream that does not unlock the $500 reward on my stream, we're reaching the rewards individually. If there's $500 in Ko-Fi after Julia's first stream, donating $50 on my stream only unlocks up to and including the $50 goal, we wouldn't be starting from the $500 reward. I hope that all makes sense, if not it'll probably make more sense as you see us reach goals on stream.
