As sweet as Dean’s and Cas’ terms of endearment for each other would be, I think they’d be more inclined to just say the other’s name to show affection. But now every “Cas” and every “Dean” is a little softer and deeper than before. The simple fact they get to love each other would give their names more meaning than a cutesy pet name ever could. All the years they spent together before, they put all that desperation in their names because there was no place for their love. Together they put love in their names because they finally can.
