I love hearing ideas on how the Pevensies need to readjust to Earth when they get back from Narnia the first time, but what about them having to get used to living in Narnia when they become kings and queens?
The children having to discover how to lead an entire country.
The Pevensies having to learn how to ride horses because they grew up in the city.
Peter and Lucy taking to it pretty easily but Edmund and Susan having a bit more difficulty at first.
The talking horses trying to give pointers but Edmund ending up falling off multiple times anyways.
On a cold winter's day, Lucy coming into Cair Paravel chilled and wet after having a snowball fight and wishing nothing more than for a hot bath only to discover the amount of time and labour needed to warm a tub of water without electricity.
No toilets. Just, no toilets.
Susan trying to write a letter to Mr. and Mrs. Beaver and getting frustrated because her quill pen keeps tearing the paper and blotting.
Peter accidentally knocking down a candle while looking through papers and nearly setting the whole table ablaze.
The Pevensies slipping occasionally when it comes to mentioning things about Earth to the facination of the Narnians.
Edmund trying to explain Earth being round to a group of curious yet politely confused creatures and eventually giving up when a young faun asks if everything is upside-down on the other side of the world.

Ninjago 13th Anniversary!
Tumblr media
I know I'm a LITTLE late to the party but here are the beloved RGB siblings (I think that's what they're called), I originally was gonna do the og 4 ninja meeting their current selves but ended up realizing I didn't have the energy so instead you get the Smiths + Lloyd!
BTW these are designs for roughly around season 5 and a little after season 6 back when they're still teens, Nya has a more tech wear style now along with some tattoos cause of getting turned into the ocean, Lloyd is less dorky and more professional/older due to taking his uncles role and Kai is kinda the same but has some tattoos and doesn't wear skinny jeans anymore lol!
Also I don't think I've ever mentioned it here before but I honestly love how out of all the characters I think Kai and Nya reflect their past and their childhoods really well. Kai is really protective and feels a need to be the best and be there for people due to having to pretty much raise Nya. Nya feels the need to be self sufficient and good at everything immediately probably because she didn't want to put more stress on Kai. I have way more to say about them but that's for another post.
Anyway happy anniversary Ninjago you've lasted longer than the Great Depression!

“Oh my god, honestly. ” Beta’s voice drifts down from above their heads, nasal, stuffy, and dripping irritation. “You three have all the collective emotional intelligence of a turnip.”

One day Richas is gonna be the death of our dearly beloved immortal BadBoyHalo.
I think the way Richas has been behaving lately is very interesting. Like Richas has always been a menace. But its been so much worse and with so little regards to his own life. Sometimes it almost feels like he wants to push Bad to the point where he absolutely snaps and takes one of his lifes (not that Bad ever would).
Richas has really been struggeling so much and him lashing out is his way of dealing with everything going on. But at the same time he doesnt realize how much hes hurting his siblings who are also hurting a lot.
For example with the mines at spawn and Pommes severe fear of explosions. Same today with the chickens in the place thats supposed to be THE safe place. Or even just him constantly messing with the pearls in the egg basket. This is supposed to be the place to protect the eggs and even if there is a slight chance the chickens mess with something its a risk. And not every egg cares as little about if they live or die as Richas. Empanada is terrified after what happened. For good reasons! She cant risk something going wrong if shes in danger. This place existing and keeping her safe is her only comfort rn and he just carelessly messes with it.
And i love all of it. Its so interesting to see these children deal differently with all the hurt and trauma. And Richas pain does seem to get overlooked a lot cause hes just "silly and messing around". But hes also the egg making deals with federation workers to find a way to safe his dad all on his own if he has to. Because what does it matter if he has two lifes if his loved ones just keep disappearing?

How the BucciGang COPES 🌦️
Bruno Bucciarati
Coping?
What’s that?
He just puts all of his focus on everyone else.
If he can’t make himself happy, he can definitely make others happy.
A good jazz song and cooking helps.
Even though everyone seems to want to eat out whenever he cooks…
Or going for a fast drive.
Wind through his hair.
And the sea breeze on his face.
Distractions are a must for Bruno.
Focusing on things beyond his control are pointless so he focuses on what he can control.
Even if it feels like what he can control is extremely limited.
Leone Abbacchio
A bottle of wine.
Not that he should indulge in drinking when upset.
Music and gardening helps, though.
He will join Bruno on his chaotic car drives.
Solitude is what Leone thinks helps.
But that’s not actually what helps him.
Being around others makes his days a bit more bearable.
Also completing tasks.
Something about that smile Bruno gives when he completes a task given by him…
He also just enjoys hearing the rest of the gang laughing and joking around.
He needs to be around positive people because he gets too caught up in his own thoughts when he’s alone.
Pannacotta Fugo
Books.
Getting lost in the pages helps when he’s feeling like he’s ready to burst with anger.
Nature walks help, too.
Also likes to focus on what he can control.
But gets upset when things don’t always work out how he meticulously planned it.
Rage rooms do not help.
They just make him angrier.
He leaves them feeling like he needs to do more than just break something.
Hot tea also helps him calm down.
And he recently has started meditating.
Just don’t bother him when he’s trying to wind down.
Narancia Ghirga
Warm and fuzzy anything.
Socks?
Blankets?
You name it.
Of course, his impulse control is pretty bad.
Can justify buying anything, even if it’s useless, by saying it brings him joy.
Also likes to get his adrenaline pumping.
What he really needs is stability and a reminder that he has a support system now.
Gardens with Abbacchio.
It’s one of the few times he will either have serious conversations to process his childhood or simply sit in a comfortable silence.
Often works out because he struggles staying still.
Specifically enjoys cardio.
It gives him a sense of strength and control over his life.
And also gets rid of some pent up anger of his own.
Guido Mista
Skipping the dreaded number.
Also an avid exerciser.
But prefers lifting weights over cardio.
Cooking also helps relax him.
And unlike Bruno, his food is edible.
Romance movies and music also put him in a good mood after something stressful.
And being around his friends.
Needs to work on not letting intrusive thoughts take over and should focus on ignoring them.
Rather than focusing on his rituals to avoid the dreaded number.
Also calms down by caring for the Pistols.
In a way, that’s self care, right?
Since they’re a physical manifestation of his soul?
Right?
Giorno Giovanna
After a particularly rough day, all Giorno needs are three things.
First, a beautiful scenery.
It could be a park, the ocean, or anything like that.
Second, he requires limited or no company.
Only those he’s close with should interact at these times.
Third, a puzzle book.
He likes to problem solve when he’s bothered by something.
Puzzle books and the right atmosphere and (sometimes) company give his brain that itch it needs to calm down.
Being able to solve any problem helps to improve his mood.
Trish Una
Retail therapy.
That dose of dopamine she gets when she buys something she likes increases her mood.
Though it isn’t exactly the most helpful tool.
But being around Mista and Narancia also lifts her mood.
They’re both just goofballs and she can’t stay angry at the world long enough when they’re both acting like fools.
Also venting.
Just verbalizing her frustrations instead of bottling them up generally helps.
It also lets her make sense of what the real issues she’s concerned over are.
And talking it over with a trusted friend gives good insights.

What happened, is that they switched teams and it had consequences.
Steve teamed up with Dustin to distract the demobats and Eddie went with Robin and Nancy to fry Vecna for good.
My inspiration : Don't go by BMTH ft. Lights
Steve asked to switch position last minute with Eddie because of a strange feeling in his guts. It wasn't fear. He knew what fear felt like. It's something he got to come across a lot in the last four years of fighting monsters and babysitting so many problem magnets. It was more of an intuition than anything, something that told him Eddie shouldn't be here. Over those years Steve learned to trust his guts to keep them alive, alongside swinging nailed baseball bats and throwing (mostly taking) punches. So, since this almost stranger that made him feel all sorts of confusing things was one of his people now, he got him to go elsewhere. Steve would do anything to protect his own. And awkwardly squeezed between Robin and Nancy, armed to the teeth, was the safest place he could think of for Eddie. He felt immediately more at ease. Yes, it was the right thing to do, undoubtedly.
“Don't try to be cute- be a hero or something.”
If Steve hadn't insisted they switched teams, if he could have listened to his own damned words... Eddie should have stayed strong against his worried puppy eyes and sweet tone, “look after the girls for me. Eds, Please.” He should have said “no Big Boy, we stick to the plan.” It was as simple as that. Eddie would have run. He would have. He knew he would have because that's what he did best. But no. “I'll make him pay” is what he boldly said in response before following the girls in the woods.
And then, Steve died in Dustin's arms.
Dustin refused to leave his body, asking him to wake up between strangled sobs.
Robin froze in place, silent, her eyes locked on the blood slowly soaking the ground.
Eddie chocked on a scream, his shaky legs giving out under the crushing weight of guilt.
And Nancy did what she knew Steve would have done. She swallowed down her own tears and screams to drag them out of there, to keep everyone alive.
Unfortunately, Vecna was a roach. Almost impossible to kill and disgusting. He survived. And they had to fight him again.
They erased him from the surface of every dimension eventually. Doesn't matter how. They made sure he paid double for what he did. However, it didn't bring back Steve. This, this is what mattered in the end.
Max woke up a few days after the final battle, blind and filled with so much rage after losing a second brother. A rage they all shared and fiercely kept close to their hearts even after Vecna's death.
The grey of the Upside Down still bled from wounds that may never fully close.
At least, they finally had the time and space to grieve and to attempt to heal those wounds. Mourning this death wasn't like anything they had suffered together until now, but they did their best.
Steve was their protector, a big brother, a hell of a babysitter, a bestfriend, a platonic soulmate, a first love, a something that will never have the chance to grow.
Loss and grief may drive people away from each other. Not them, or at least not forever.
The party split up for a while. Now that the world didn't end and they had a future to look forward to, everyone tried to get their life back. They all did great things and tried to not let the past slow them down too much. Steve would have been proud of his kids, his family.
He would have also understood their struggles.
Eddie and Robin were the ones that had the most troubles dealing with his death. Years have passed, yet, a part of them, and they couldn't really grasp how big it was, was still locked on slow spreading red and kneeling in grey dust.
They couldn't bear to be separated from one another since that day. They clung to each other with everything they had left of strength and love, trying to fight together the storm they were trapped in. Eddie was like the other half of her missing soulmate. And for Eddie, living with Robin was sometimes like experiencing a distorted echo of what could have been. They were platonic with a capital P, but they did everything together. Their bond was beautiful and thrived naturally outside their shared sorrow.
As for Nancy, she did what she knew Steve would have done. She stuck around the ones that needed her the most. She gave Eddie and Robin food when they forgot to eat. She reminded them to take their medications when they were being stubborn. She took everyone to his empty grave as much as they wanted. She tried her best to be there for them because they were her people. And if Steve taught her anything, it's that we take care of our own, no question asked.
Time passed again, Eddie and Robin craved to speak, to be heard. So they poured their fears, their pain, their happiness, and everything in between, in songs that seemed to resonate loudly around them. And when making music together started to become too serious for the duo to handle, Nancy became their manager.
The three of them had really fun days, as much as they had really bad days.
It was life. And it was more than Steve had.
So they made the most of it.
The kids and grown-ups always tried to show up at their shows as often as they could. Slowly, the band grew bigger and bigger, reaching more and more people everyday. People heard them. They listened. They cared. And it helped them heal, gave them a purpose.
Tonight, Eddie stands in front of a black sea of screams and hands thrown in the air. Older, longer hair, more piercings, even more tattoos. He didn't change that much. He lets himself take in this moment, his favorite, when they are blinded by spotlights, covered in sweat and quietly smiling at each other. Robin next to him is older too, hair buzzed, blue, bold make-up, a few piercings, tattoos Eddie himself put under her skin. She changed a lot more compared to him. She had always been beautiful, but she only glowed like that on stage.
The entire family is somewhere in the audience. It has been a year since they were all in the same place together. Even if it was hard to achieve, they always tried to meet once a year for this special day. It meant a lot for them.
It was extra special for Eddie because he was the only one that never got to celebrate Steve's birthday with him.
He is shaking from nervousness about the last song of the night, while Robin is crushing his hand in hers.
They never released it nor played it live until now. It's the song they wrote in spite of every progress they made against their torments and their intent to stay strong for their family. Their music is always deeply personal, but this one is different. This one is an unsung secret. It's something dark, disgraceful, raw and hungry that kept trashing relentlessly inside them.
Eddie was always shameful of the things he felt for a man he would only get to know through the memories of someone else, for a man that wasn't there to witness his love for him blossomed, for a man he would never be able to confess to. Those selfish feelings that he knew he didn't deserve to hoard were not something he was willing to let anyone hear about. Not even Nancy. Only Robin knew about the true colors of his shame and his guilt. But, well, Robin doesn't really count. She's not anyone. She is him. She is him.
Eddie takes a deep breath. They talked about it. He could be selfish and ugly and messy tonight, for the sake of both of them. Robin deserved as much as him to be truly heard.
All of them bare on the strings of his guitar and her violin. All of them bare for those who cared to listen.
“Hi again, we are Sacrificial Hero and we'll close the night with a special song. It's called Don't Go.
Sometimes we can't let go of things we never had.
Can you hear us?”
They hope their love can still reach him.
Until next time, until a second chance in another life.

The Bittersweetness of Sonic Prime
You know when I go back and rewatch the episodes of this show because of how it ended, and because of its interesting story, I realize how horribly bittersweet it is.
Usually, Sonic stories have epic adventure stories or happy positive feelings but Prime is just...bittersweet. It gets even worse when you remember the ending of the first batch, which leaves SOO many interpretations.
Sure, there's some action here and there, but the main focus is the characters and their feelings. It's not about the fights or good vs evil, it's just about getting home, and trying to find light in a pitch-black room.
Hope.
Tumblr media
Which makes the ending of the first batch worse. Home doesn't exist anymore, Sonic broke it. The way they handle Sonic's character is actually well done in my opinion. He's bubbly, positive, and cocky, but ultimately well-meaning, and unconditionally kind. There are some things he says that are annoying, but nothing too bad. Nothing too unwatchable.
I absolutely enjoy it when they put flaws instead of making Sonic a perfect hero like they usually do. He's more real, and easier to get attached to. He's immature, but he is still a teen, still growing and learning about the world.
Tumblr media
The other characters are really good too. And one thing Prime does is show deep empathy for its characters. Each character has more depth to them, and when they express distressed feelings, you can understand and feel it. At times, you can even relate to their pain.
Tumblr media
(The way he poses XD, he knows he's a bad bitch)
And I couldn't use this pic without this one.
Tumblr media
(Period. End of discussion)
Shadow is another really well-done character, not an overly edgy asshole, but a cold person with a hidden heart of gold. He's standoffish to Sonic, and most likely his friends, but his and Sonic's fighting probably is nothing but competitive sport. Not to mention their fighting ACTUALLY MADE SENSE. Shadow saw Sonic was going to do some stupid shit again, except this time he would break the WORLD, so naturally, he tried to stop it.
Tumblr media
Of course, he was going to fight Sonic, the blue bitch doesn't even listen to his friends. Of course, he's going to literally knock some sense into him the first chance he sees him, he broke THEIR HOME.
I agree Shadow could've tried to talk to Sonic, but again would Sonic have listened? Not to mention, Shadow is...a complicated person when it comes to communication.
The variants of the main characters are really good as well. Each of them has goals, ideals, and sides. Of course, there's one that stands out to me, and if you've seen my posts you know who it is.
Tumblr media
I can't NOT talk about Nine! He's just so interesting and well-written. The show emphasizes a LOT of mystery around him. Like we KNOW this is another version of Tails, but what happened after he took the shard? How did he see Sonic? What did he discover about Prism's power and how to harness that power? What is going on in his head?!
We'll have to wait for these questions to be answered in the second batch, but he's still very fun to watch. In my opinion, he's not only the best character in Prime, but he's also the most bittersweet in the Sonic Franchise. when Sega tries to write a bittersweet character, it's either too sad or too happy, too edgy or too go-lucky, but Nine is a perfect in-between.
Tumblr media
Nine is edgy done right, I am so sorry Shadow SEGA ruined you, and has moments where he's happy too. He's just a very complex and interesting character.
It's hilarious that "emo Tails" written by Netflix is better than any other edgy character SEGA made up. When he blows up or becomes cold, it's understandable.
Attacking Sonic the first moment he meets him? Sonic called him something he was abused for YEARS for, so naturally, he thought Sonic was another "bully". Taking the shard over helping the rebels? He watched the only person he ever bonded with get sucked into this shard, he never bonded with any of the rebels anyway. Doing it again when there was a battle? It wasn't his problem, it was the rebels' he was only working with them because he was helping Sonic anyway.
However, back to the topic, all of the variants Sonic bonds with reminds him of his friends back home, so yeah, he helped and bonded with them, but he doesn't belong in that world. Except his world is destroyed, his home where his REAL friends are, his friends that he mentioned are what make his home, home.
If he does manage to get all of the Paradox Prism together, those worlds and those variants will likely disappear. The variants would go through the equivalent of dying. They'll become one again, but they'll cease to be nothing more than mere traits, they won't be alive anymore, and they won't be their own person anymore. They'll cease to be, nothing more than the shards they are.
No matter what, how happy they are, or how satisfying the conclusion is, they will still have to "die", all just to become a shard of someone who will never know they existed. No matter how optimistic you look at it, it will have a pang of heartbreak.
Tumblr media
And I think the chance of them remembering is highly unlikely because it would take away from the main theme of Prime. This isn't about them learning something, it's SONIC, and probably Shadow. If they remember it would kinda ruin the main tone of this show.
If anything, they'll just think it was a simple dream and think nothing of it. Because that's all it was to them, not a deep journey, not a meaningful bonding, just a weird dream that they don't need to think about ever again.
What will the varients think of that? What will NINE think of his worth? Nine and every other variant are just copies, things that aren't as important as the real thing. They aren't worth much, they're just variants, just "shards". With how Nine suffered, with how much Nine WANTS, I don't think he's just going to overlook it and help.
Tumblr media
I also think that with his villain arc will come another solution. Another way the world can be restored is without simply converting him, mashing him up with the other meaningless shards, and becoming the real Tails. Another way where he won't be just some shard.
And to be honest, if there's another way that involves Nine going crazy but getting his way, getting to be HAPPY, while restoring the world and bringing everyone back without having to "die", I'm DOWN.
Some people hope there will be a redemption arc, and so do I, I'm hoping that the thing I mentioned just now will be it. Redemption is not always happy, it can be sad or bittersweet. When he does get that, it'll most likely be the harshest bittersweet ending of all.
I keep reading posts that Nine is a good boi or going to be a villain, but I want to say something that needs to be clarified, Nine isn't a good person, but he's not a bad one either, he's simply a kid, and we CANNOT forget that.
He's just a kid with NOTHING to lose, and when he finally finds something to be worth living for, he's never going to have it (unless he does things his own way).
There are some quotes from other Sonic games that I think fit well with what I'm trying to say that sum up ALL these characters, especially Sonic and Nine. All of these were said by Sonic btw.
"Don't be afraid to accomplish your dreams."
"When you want to do something, do it right away. Do it when you can. It's the only way to live life without regrets."
“Every world has its end. I know that’s kinda sad, but that’s why we gotta live life to the fullest in the time we have.”
“If the world chooses to become my enemy, I will fight like I always have!” -(Actually stated by Shadow, my b)
“I’ll never look back, I’ve got no regrets. Cause time doesn’t wait for me. I choose to go my own way.”

“It’s hard carrying all of this,” Uttered Anna. “It must’ve been hard for you too,”
Jun held her breath. A lump formed on her throat and she could feel the earth wallowing her from the ground just up until her shoulders, weighing her down as gravity forces held her grounded.
“It must’ve been hard when you lost Kazuya.”
Tumblr media
Hello hunnies! It's time for me to serve the food that I've been cooking for the past few days. Another Kazujun one-shot set in Tekken 8 timeline, and it explores how much Jun had mourned over Kazuya when she lost him (Anna Williams makes a cameo too).
I've been fixated on writing about Tekken 8 Kazujun interactions lately. I'm trying with all my might to write as much as I can before I go back to uni. So hopefully, I'd get to write 2 more Kazujun fics, but they would most likely be set in Tekken 2. Still need to have a bit of a feel of Tekken 8 Kazuya and Jun in order to interpret them in a way that would bring their characters justice (I take my writing seriously hihi).
Also included Anna Williams in the fic since I wanted to delve into Jun and Anna's experiences of having lost a lover, and I do like to believe they became friends some time in TK2.
As always, I hope everyone who reads it would have a nice time and a meaningful read >.<

The Fall of Roman
AU: Canon-ish
CW: Cussing, self-depreciation, minor fight scene
WC: 1631
Date: February 8th 2023
This should have been like any other day; Remus should have woken up, ready to cause chaos and sow the seeds of violence but as he stretched out his neck, something was wrong. He looked down at his usually black outfit, tilting his head to the side as he took in its now grey coloring. The realization hit him all at once as he scrambled out of bed, turning around like a dog chasing its tail as he looked for his emblem. Eventually, he was able to twist the lower half of his body and see that in fact, his emblem had changed. Its usual horror and exuberance were missing, replaced with a muted version, something he expected more from Roman.
"Roman," Remus breathed out, rolling his eyes as he made his way out of his room, waving his hand to change his outfit, but it was spiffy, completely not something he normally would like to wear. "Gross, I'm turning into some prissy hero or something." He said quietly, frowning down at his outfit. Was Roman just in one of his moods or was something else going on here? Remus frowned, making his way to his brother's room. Though his steps were hurried he didn't bother moving about the quick way. It couldn't be that big of a deal with the changes being as subtle as they were, then again, the fact that there were any changes at all was problematic.
"Remus, where are you going this early in the morning?" Janus asked, looking at him from the kitchen, but Remus didn't stop.
"Light side's."
"Try not to cause too much of a mess."
"No promises."
Remus burst into the common area and immediately knew he should have been more concerned. The room was completely shrouded in shadows, an eerie quiet echoing through the space. On any other day, this would please him, he would be overjoyed with the horror movie vibe, but there was a stirring in his soul, a change trying to force itself upon him. He felt the need to be the hero, to fix the problem to save the day. "Stupid fucking brother, making me be all noble or some shit, I'm going to make him regret this." Remus stalked towards his brother's room where the darkness was heaviest, he summoned his morning star, only to find it was a broadsword instead. "Oh for fucks sake." Remus rolled his eyes, making his way into the room anyway, shaving open the door. He wasn't sure where the other light sides were and honestly, he didn't really care, they weren't his problem. Even if he never wanted to play the hero, Remus also didn't think he was the villain. He didn't mind when he was thrust into that role but he had his own uses, his own purposes and his intentions were to make everyone question their normal. His purpose wasn't to destroy his brother. He also wasn't happy making sure his brother was okay, but he could play the good guy for once.
Stepping into what should have been a pleasant field filled with flowers. Remus had left in alone whenever he snuck in, mostly because it reminded him of the grass fields they would draw when they were kids, and didn't have much talent. He would never admit how much he loved that field with its stupid basic flowers, but now it was just ash. The green field was a mix of yellow and black, burned from above by something that breathed fire though there were no fires currently remained. How long had Roman been here destroying the things he had worked to build?
As he continued to walk forward, Remus saw houses destroyed, towers toppled and in the distance a castle that certainly belonged more on his side of the imagination than in Roman's. His brother didn't seem to even enjoy or revel in the idea of being a villain, everything was in disrepair. "You are so dramatic." Despite his words, he could feel the worry running through him as he powered through the decay, each step seeming to change his outfit into something more befitting a prince. No, he wasn't the prince, or the hero in this story, the best he was willing to be was the villain that saved the hero, the one who had always been supportive just from the shadows.
"What are you doing here Remus?" His voice was tired, and Roman was sitting on an obsidian throne, clad in black and red.
"Unfortunately if you are going to play the destitute villain I'm being forced to play the hero, and I'm not about that life."
"No one asked you to play the hero," Roman sounded so defeated, and Remus hated that that sound would ever enter his brother's voice, so he began walking towards his twin, gesturing to his outfit before sitting on the arm rest of his brother's throne.
"Look, we both know that you were always sorted to be the hero and I was sorted to be the villain, and I'm content with that. So, why don't you tell me what has you so wrapped up in your own mind that you've destroyed everything you've built."
For a long time, Roman was silent, almost as if he was trying to stop Remus from being involved, but the more chaotic of the two twins was actually the better at playing the silent game, so he sat and waited until Roman finally broke.
"Remus, get out!" He shouted now, standing from his throne with a sword in his hand. "You have always been happy to play your part, happy to do whatever whims you pleased or fancied, I'm not like that, I didn't have that luxury. I have to fit into a mold!" He swung his sword at his brother but it was lackluster at best.
Remus was able to easily perry his brother's onslaught of attacks, not moving to reciprocate. Roman had so much frustration built up in him and he so rarely allowed himself to let it out. Sure Roman would insult his favorite movies or even people, and sure he would come up with nicknames but none of that was him really letting loose, really telling off everyone who had hurt him, or just screaming out his pains.
"You don't understand the pressure I'm under to constantly be perfect, to constantly live up to impossible standards of originality and cleverness. You can just exist and that's enough!" Through the anger Remus could see the tears, that was where he would make his move. Waiting for Roman to leave him an opening, Remus charged forward, dropping his weapon as he tackled Roman, clinging to him in a forceful hug. For a moment, Roman was stunned, then came the anger and the yelling.
"Let go of me! Get off!"
Then finally the resignation and the tears, and Remus began to gently rub Roman's back.
"I can't do this. I'm no good at being good, every decision I make is wrong and I don't know what to do anymore."
The brokenness in Roman's voice was awful, and Remus just held his brother, rocking back and forth on his feet. There was a wave that passed between them and he watched as both his sleeves and Roman's began to mute out to the color of ash, a soft grey. So many people thought ash meant death, but it could also mean growth and rebirth. Roman would rise above this, because that's what a hero did.
"You've just hit a stumbling block Ro, you are going through so much shit and don't know how to handle it all, and that's fine, because it's you, you're going to get through it."
"How can you be so certain?" Roman asked, voice shaking. "How can you be sure that I can rise above all of the quagmire and treachery?" He looked down at his own outfits. "How am I going to escape the shades of grey?"
Remus shrugged. "No idea, but I know you can figure it out because that's just who you are. You are Thomas' creativity, builder of the mindscape, creator of the imagination."
"More like destroyer."
Remus frown, gently leading Roman out of the throne room and towards a spire where they could see the kingdom better. It was hard to look at the scene, at the destruction wrought by his brother's hands.
"You aren't the first creator to go postal on your creations, and you won't be the last, hell I do it pretty regularly, but that doesn't matter."
Roman was sniffling, and Remus continued to hold him, continued to be a support, "Because you remember it, and you can rebuild."
"But... what if I can't? What if I can't take on that position anymore, king, prince, hero? What if they are all lost to me?"
Remus shrugged. "It doesn't matter, because no matter what, I'll be right here by your side. I'll stay with you until the title of "King", "Prince", "Hero", or whatever other bullshit you want to call yourself feels right. I don't care if not a single one of those other idiots stands by your side. I'm your brother, and I'm an asshole, but you will always have me. The world could turn boring and peaceful, all the problems could be solved leaving nothing entertaining to do, and I will still be by your side, because like it or not, that's what siblings do."
Roman wiped his tears away on his white sleeve, standing tall with his shoulders back as he stretched out his hands, ready to create again. "Your motivational speeches need some work." Roman laughed, and his voice still wavered. There were still tears in his eyes.
Nevertheless, with his brother by his side, he persisted.

Cassandra after meeting Halt in Skandia, as she had previously only heard about him from either Duncan or Crowley, well, and some gossip from others: Damn
Cassandra: You don't need a therapist, you need three. At least.
Halt:
Cassandra: You're on the list right after Will, holy fuck. I'll get my dad to assign one to the Corps after all, this is sick.
