I realise I haven't actually got around to posting the fic in question yet (writing takes a lot out of me atm), but I have been frittering away at a piece based on the ask you sent me forever ago, and I really wanted to thank you for taking the time to send that ask in the first place. Not only did it make me feel like I really was a part of the community here, but you actually sent me that ask right before a meeting with my oncologist where I was due to find out whether I had been responding to chemotherapy or not. I like to think I have good wit and flow. and maybe attention to detail… always thinking what more I can add to a scene to make it more palpable

I think just…. really terrible self criticism. a lot of the time I’m writing and I’m like… what if this sucks what if everyone hates this what if blah blah blah….. WHO CARES!!!!!! I wish I could be less worried about that

I will write a few words if I feel confident enough about them but not whole passages. I always have nando saying little bits in spanish

Nanco has made a couple of Littlest Pet Shop Plush/Stuffed toys for carnival prizes and claw machines from 2007 to around 2010. Unfortnatly there is ZERO photos of them in carnival stalls and its not sure how many exist. So far from what I've seen is this beautiful fuck from 2008. based on LPS #641

This lil long guy from.. unknown date :,) but is most definetly from Nanco due to the odd orange loop on the back of their nape which all Nanco LPS have. Typically I can find the date on the tag but out of the two photos I have found of them, the tag is blurry. It's maybe based off of LPS #111?

just look at the GRIP this dude is grabbin this butterfly with. . . From 2007 and based off of LPS. maaaayyybe based off of LPS #202 but there is quite a few differences

Lastly, this guy, which I dont actually think is Nanco but it was listed as one. Any image reverse search and search terms bring up nothing. This is the only photo I could find, if there was a back view I could verify but unfortunately there isnt :( what makes me severely doubt its nanco it it's embroidery eyes- though, the octopus from 2009 did... So, who knows! It gives me 2017 LPS vibes.

MEWMEW - (Either Normal/Steel or Fairy/Steel, but the Steel has to be there. I like to think m was an elite 5 trainer until mew decided to retire and settle down.)

- Blissey/Clefable [Most obvious picks imo, but these thangs are TANKS while still being very sweet, much like Mewmew :] Aggressive healing and Metronome just sounds like a strategy m would use tbh.]

- Klefki [Listen. M is a cat. This is the key jingle Pokémon. M can and should have one of these bad boys]

- Togekiss [Vibes-wise I think Togekiss is THE Mewmew Pokémon. Its round, its smiley and its AWESOME ok. Trust me I am Pokémon expert, Mewmew would love this guy]

- Tinkaton [Listen.......its THE big hammer cute little wee face Pokémon. It's Mewmew coded]

- Snorlax [Same reasoning as togekiss, but with the added bonus of being on the tankier side so it balances it out more. Very beautiful very powerful. Also the little ears it has just makes me think of ms own lil' ears :]]

- Magearna [I know its a little op to give m a mythical Pokémon....but have you considered that Mewmew is the world's specialest kitty. Also these two give me the similar vibes tbh, especially with the Moon description being "Its mechanized body is merely a vessel. Its true self is its Soul-Heart, an artificial soul".]

NAN - (Flying, because she's the silly birt :] also, I think she's a gym leader of some kind)

- Pidgeot [Nan strikes me as the kind of person who'd catch her own Pokémon without the help of professors tbh, so I think her starter being a pidgey makes sense ! They're easy to catch, are everywhere and are still pretty dang solid as Pokémon. I like to think she and this pidgeot grew up alongside each other, and although its not much of a battler anymore, they used to have glory days together :] ]

- Unfezant [Same reasoning for pidgeot, but also, it just has SO much sass. I think Nan would love Pokémon with attitudes, so she would deliberately catch hard Pokémon to train just for the challenge]

- Swablu [It's a little bird.......its blue.... I think she deserves a little guy Pokémon that looks exactly like her /silly]

SIRU - (Dark, cuz you just know she's seein' the horrors <3 maybe Ice too. Probably a regular trainer, long past wanting to be an elite 5 gal, but still has a theme bc she has STANDARDS)

- Sneasel -> Weaville [Probably her starter tbh, I can see it. Its her Permanently Smug Emotional Support Guy !! It loves fighting, but Siru is So So Sleepy and Tired she just gets dragged around by her Pokémon <3]

- Froslass [I just think it fits her really nicely !! Also, the singing thing.......I think Siru would find comfort in it, in a fucked up way. I too sing songs of death lil guy, do you wanna be my travel buddy*]

LASSI - (Water/Grass, I just couldn't pick one, he gives both vibes !! He's the Haru (Pokémon sun and moon rival) to Siru in my humble opinion)

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

One time as a dare/joke, Sam decided to sign herself up for cheerleading not too dissimilar from when she signed up for that pageant in "Beauty Marked". Little did she know that she'd actually end up passing the try-outs with her agility/athletic skill... so cue her grumpy disposition for the next few football games she's stuck waving around pom-poms with Paulina & Star lol.

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

Way back in the day, little Sam actually used to get along pretty well with her mother Pamela (constantly spending time doing makeovers, hosing tea parties, taking part in ballet & beauty pageants, etc.). It was only when she became more independent-minded that Sam started to realize how... "controlling" her mother was, and how anything they bonded over was solely the things Pamela enjoyed, nothing Sam actually wanted to do...

Being the first time her daughter ever told her "no" to any of their activities caused a huge rift between Pamela and Sam from then on... only becoming more strained now that Sam's a goth (and thus Pam can't help trying to "recapture" old memories with pushing those girly dresses on her, oblivious to the fact that this was what drove Sam apart from her to begin with...).

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.

While she and Danny come to terms with their feelings much like the end of the canon series, the two of them don't actually start to "date"-date for real until a little later in highschool (once the dust settles from ghost-fighting for them to have more free time together). In college the two of them would have a brief break from eachother so they can focus on 'finding' themselves better (as any young adult would at that age). By their later 20s they’ll be back together for good though ❤️

OKAY SO, the first one that comes to mind is Handsome Devil. Would this essentially be emotional turmoil for Cap ? Absolutely yes but 1) I'd love to see him understand that times have changed and people are accepting of queerness and 2) it's a beautiful movie that I think all the ghosts could benefit from watching. Especially the Captain. It's about these two kids in an irish boarding school who form an unlikely friendship (Ned - outcast loner and Conor - rugby fiend loved by the school for his skills). PLEASE WATCH IT IF YOU HAVEN'T. Also the soundtrack for this movie is BEAUTIFUL and makes me go a lil insane every time I watch it. IT"S GOT ANDREW SCOTT AS A GAY ENGLISH TEACHER !!!

Otherwise, I'd also choose The Nice Guys. Fun detective buddy-cop movie and so far everyone I've showed it to has enjoyed it. I also think it'd start a really good discussion about sex work and the judicial system. Not necessarily in relation to each other but still. Fanny would definitely be shocked just at the opening scene but honestly, I think after some discussing she'd enjoy it too. Maybe. Julian definitely would. But it's fuckin hilarious and also heartwarming with the lil hint of found family.

My desk is right up against a window that usually gets good light in the morning, so that's where I take most of my pics (some of them I take on the floor right beside the desk). Keyword "usually" because the lighting is by no means consistent baha, and what usually ends up happening is I try to snap a bunch in between clouds moving and the light changing throughout the morning. Then I dress up the pics a lil by slapping a filter on em--usually one of the warm light filters that comes with the google pixel phones, which is also what I use to take photos.

And as for the background--yes, it's fabric! I'm always on the lookout for fabric in the clearance bins at craft stores to make bookcloth, so I have a bunch of scraps on hand that live in a bin in the corner of the room haha:

I basically choose what fabric I'll use for a photo based on what I have at the moment! But I really like the shiny ones so I'll probably keep using those. Using fabric as a background is actually a fairly new thing for me, so I'm still experimenting; most of my books are just chillin on my desk in their photos, which is still my go-to setup when I want to snap some pics. Can't go wrong with a nice warm wooden background imo!

(The red fabric I've used for the last few books is supposed to be for a dress I'll work on...one day. Maybe. Eventually. We'll see ajsldkjf)

Comforting. That’s not the word I’d use for most of my games I love.

(Why did this piece of shit crash this time, oh no a mesh is missing, I can’t possibly continue playing without looking up at which level this Pokemon learns this move, I’m gonna spend the next 5 hours in char gen, because I need to be absolutely sure what I’ll pick, I need to play with wiki open, so I know which quest way to go, oh god another patch, all my mods will stop working, oh god another patch, all my builds are ruined, oh fuck I missed an achievement.)

I think one of the cutest games (though moderately stressful at some bosses, because I suck lol) is Fantasy Life. I wanted this game for years and when I bought my 3ds it was more or less for Pokemon, but also for this game.

The world is super cute, I can harvest things, and stab things with my dagger and I have a lil kitty and... yeah it’s adorable ok. Running around with my lil witch hat and my black kitty and picking up flowers and mining ore and when you hit the vein just ~right~ with your pickaxe you get a bonus and then you return and play a silly little mini game to wave your dandelion fluff into fabric and sew some clothes with it.

I guess the progression can be a bit dull and/or stressful, depending on playstyle, and also a bit of a grind, but I occasionally boot it up just to run around a map and fill my pockets with bugs, flowers, apples, ore and wood.

This probably fails the assignment spectacularly - everything about this game is heartbreaking AND I haven’t actually played it in YEARS. And I never finished it because I got lost in side quest completing before the last dungeon dhakhsdgaks. But I just like... love it so much? The artstyle is 110% my thing, I love how grim it is, and I really like the world. I sometimes just listen to the soundtrack, and I love the companions (not you Durance). It surely has its flaws, but I sometimes look at its little icon in my library and think “I could install this” and it’s making me happy. I have issues I know.
