You drifted your attention to the churros stand nearby, wanting a sweet treat. You didn't hear Jake's evil, spiteful intentions. The tempting, lying snake hissed:

'𝑰'𝒍𝒍 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓'𝒔 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞.'

He successfully did that with ease, which horrified you. And boy, the venom could've killed your happy marriage, almost. Luckily it was your faithful best friend that had it, or you would've been silently tortured with regret for not knowing the truth in his hell. Fucking hell, Jake, no wonder why people say you should run from a scorpio man.

But, let's forget about the shattered past, and focus on the thriving present, you and Hoon crying in each other's embrace, saying words filled with the upmost affection and actions that displayed their yearning for each other.

'Hoon...next time, please, tell me your thoughts, hm? I want to be with you, 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓.' You desperately plead, not wanting things to go haywire again.

'Mhmm, m'sorry...' He chokes out, clearly affected by Jake's mental abuse.

It was finally back to normal, back to a loving family. You guys could finally sleep in peace, Hoon's toned body moving so elegantly. It was so fast, making up. You even questioned if it was a silly dream. Either way, you wouldn't want to go back. And you weren't EVER going to see Jake enter your life.

'Shh,' whispers Sunghoon cutely, 'let's wake up momma.'

The two loved doing that, waking you up with kisses and cuddles, before playing with each other for a short bit of time. The weather was bright and hopeful, which gave you the impression that, after a hard-fought battle, with determination, you can succeed. What a perfect day to wake up in, you could even cry.

Jin Ae crawls to you, giggling quietly and looking at her father with such amusment. She was like a piece of him, their smooth-riding relationship so wholesome. They both lean in, count themselves to three before launching their weapons of tender kisses.

'Hehe, hello my baby!!' You sleepily smiled, before welcoming the morning with your husband,

'Hello, daddy...' You smirked, knowing damn well how it gives him a dopamine and ego boost.

'Hello my pretty, beautiful, stunning baby wife...' He complimented, laying down and hugging you and Jin Ae, each on both sides of his chest.

'Ahh, my two girls, how lucky I am to have you all.' He kissed the top of your heads, 'Mine, mine, mine, mine, 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞.' He said the last word like a hungry beast, but immdiately became a cute penguin, baby baekgyu. Jin Ae couldn't contol her laughter at this point, soothing sounds echoing in this haven.

'Baby,' Sunghoon started, pecking the two of you now and then, 'should we go to the park?'

Your jokes were as cringey as his, which is probably why many people were astonished by your humor.

'Which Park, your Mum, your Dad? Jay? Yeji?'

He chuckles whilst dies at your jokes,

'Babe, that was so...wow'

'You can't say much,' You said with a smug smile, 'imagine saying, "𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 '𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒐' 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚".' You came back, knowing he will be overwhelmingly embarrased.

'BABE!! Stoppp, that was one of my worst moments in life, frick Jay.' He whined, but made sure to keep the language child-friendly, knowing Jin Ae can learn quickly.

'Haha, but yeah, we should go to the park, and let's bring Jay and Yeji!'

'Mhmm, they deserve it, AND HEESEUNG. SHOOT, I FORGOT ABOUT HIM! He was like my lifesaver.. We should probably make them gifts...' He agrees.

'I know just the thing...' You said confidently, making Sunghoon look at you, wanting for you to continue,

'FOOD!' You happily shouted, and Jin Ae copied too,

'Food!' She chortled, clapping her hands. Her and Sunghoon's cuteness broke the scales, damn...

'Heyy!! Thanks for tagging us along!' Says the three friends, excited for the payment of their therupatic actions.

'Where are we going?' Yeji asks, trying to contain the urge to just take Sunghoon's card and run off.

'Haha, we'll go to a kbbq place, Heeseung's favourite, especially.' You said, 'Oh yeah, it was Sunghoon's idea.' You grinned, because Sunghoon didn't want others to know how soft he was.

'Awww, thanks bro, come to my place anytime-' He stops, seeing your angry glare, 'OR stay with lovely Y/n right here...' He mumbles, rubbing his nape.

You guys ate like you were famished, finishing the bowl within a few minutes, but the food was definitely worth the hype.

'You know what, I feel like this is a bribe, BUT I'M ALL FOR IT.' Yeji proclaimed, earning a laugh from everyone.

'Y/niee,' starts Heeseung, doing something very unusual with his body...

'Lee Heeseung...' You said slowly with a deep tone, looking as dead as Jay is, who ends up averting his attention to Jin Ae, Yeji and Sunghoon getting stitches from laughing too hard, 'what on earth are you doing' You fake cried.

'I WAS TRYING TO DO AGEYOOOO' Wanting to be six-feet-under.

'But anyways, where we going for dessert?'

The group pondered about the various options, Jin Ae just scribbling on the piece of drawing given by the staff.

'Oh, I know, why not we go and pop over to dollywon's bakery and order from there!' You implied, knowing everyone loves going there.

'YEAH, THAT'S A GREAT IDEA! I love her bakeries' Says Yeji, scrolling on her phone to look for the menu.

'Oh yeah, Y/n, can we go to a library?' Asks Jay, 'I've been wanting to read a few poets and authors'

'Of course! Hoon, you can go to the park with Heeseung and Yeji when that happens, yeah?'

Sunghoon looks offended, 'OBVIOUSLY, I'M NOT LIKE THAT GRANDPA.'

Jay swears in korean, knowing Jin Ae isn't that knowledgeable.

'Right, let's go!!'

'Hi Reesa!!' Greets Y/n, who's happy to see her coquette friend. Y/n orders from her bakery when she's in need of something sweet, sometimes, she wants to take Reesa too.

'Hi Y/n! It's been awhile, I see we have a few costumers!' She notions to the group.

'Yep, all wanting a bite!' You chuckle, Jin Ae's motioning that she wants the chocolate muffin.

'Yup, all done! Thanks Y/n!' Says Reesa. 'Oh, and one more thing...' She takes out the chocolate muffin, 'I see mini hoon has been wanting this.' She smiles. She's so kind, no wonder why Jungwon took her as his girlfriend.

'Mmm,' hums Heeseung in delight, 'this is soooo yummy!'

The three manage to feed themselves, unlike your family. You're feeding Sunghoon like the baby he is right now, and Sunghoon's feeding the real baby. Jay takes a photo, knowing you'll want it in the picture book.

'Right,' burps Heeseung, 'let's go to the park, yeahhh?' He coos to Jin Ae.

'We'll be heading to the library, see you.'

'Y/n, what authors do you recommend? I've been quite busy lately, so I wanted to take reading just to let my imagination run wild.' Jay asks calmly, passing each shelf of books.

'I've got to say, authors like Haze, Rin, Aria, Reina, Nessa, Juila, Aeri, Rae have been taking my time, and it was worth it!' You advised, knowing how good these people are. They're like the rulers of literature, and they certaintly produce the highest-quality works.

'Ah, I have heard of them, and they're works are quite...interesting.' You realise what he meant, and squirmed in embarrassment.

'That's why there are restrictions, dummy!' You hit him, earning a sharp gasp and hiss.

'Ha, imagine if Sunghoon found out-'

'Let's just find a story to read, yeah!?' You whisper shouted, annoyed by his teasing. The Park brothers sure have something in common.

'AHH, JIN AE-AH!! GO, GO!!' cheers Heeseung.

While Jay and Y/n were purchasing books, Yeji and Jin Ae were playing tag, Jin Ae being the tagger. Sunghoon's taken many videos of the moment, wanting to keep this memory.

'We're back!!' Exclaims Y/n, hugging Sunghoon who had his arms out open for you to come.

'Haha, you missed out on some beautiful moments' chuckles Sunghoon, knowing you'll be devastated.

'What!? When..' You whine, but Sunghoon's such a romantic. He back hugs you, places his head on top of yours, intertwinned you fingers with his and says,

'Don't worry, darling. We'll make more beautiful moments, forever.'

I recently came across one of your wonderfully written story called "symptoms and causes" and tbh I read all the chapters in just a day. After completing all of them I am so sorry but I just couldn't control myself and had to write that I really love and admired your writing style and way of describing things aswell as setting themes, I truly enjoyed each and every second I was spending reading that story and it was quite frankly the best one I've read so far!! The way you wrote about medical things as well as how you made the storyline progress, I am just a big fan🛐🤍 you know the whole story felt like a fresh breeze and your writing style gave it a home like feeling, I seriously can't get over the way you've marvelously written everything and precisely layed out each and every detail about everything and even the emotions. The depections were so on point and mixed with such perfect way of discription they came to life!! It was Sunday morning which you knew was Ted’s absolute favorite time of day. You’d only been living together for a few weeks but you’d already grown accustomed to the sunlight streaming in through the windows and the sound of Ted’s “Easy Like Sunday Morning” playlist drifting in from the kitchen as he made pancakes or french toast or any other complicated breakfast recipe he’d saved during the week. 

But this Sunday morning wasn’t just any Sunday morning, as Ted had been reminding you all week. This Sunday, Ted had planned a full day of fun for the two of you. It had been in the works since the day you moved in. 

“I don’t want us shackin’ up to mean we stop lovin’ on each other,” Ted had explained when he laid out his plans over dinner at the Crown & Anchor. “I’ll block out the day and we’ll do some stuff we always planned on ‘round London-town!” 

You smiled at his enthusiasm, “We’ll never stop loving on each other just because we live together. In fact, I think we might be insufferable.” Ted laughed and brought the back of your hand up to his lips for a gentle kiss. 

And now that your jam-packed Sunday had been planned, tickets had been purchased, and dinner reservations made, you sat up in the warm, morning light of you and Ted’s shared bedroom…and you felt like garbage. 

You felt like more than garbage, actually. You were shivery, your eyes burned, and your head felt like someone was driving nails into it.

“Fuck,” you whispered, trying foolishly to rub sleep and sickness from your eyes. There was no way you were missing out on the day Ted had planned so thoughtfully. You’d just have to fake it. 

Ted must have heard you rustling because no sooner had you decided you’d just power through, Ted was tapping on the door and bringing you a cup of coffee. 

“Mornin’ sunshine!” Ted was still in his pajamas, hadn’t yet combed through his bed head and he looked soft and rumpled and perfect. You smiled and accepted the coffee, sipping quickly to hide the fact that you felt terrible. Ted sat near your feet, one hand resting lightly on your knee as he looked at you.

“So, I made cranberry orange muffins so we have some breakfast we can take with us on the road. I’m thinkin’ we can hop in the shower, and then…” Ted paused mid sentence and tilted his head at you, his gaze analytical. You went to take another sip of your coffee and realized at the same moment that he did that your hand was shaking. “Orrrr we could tuck you back into bed and have Sunday Funday another time.” 

“What?! No, why would we do that,” you sat the coffee aside and made to get out of bed, but Ted quickly put a hand over yours to keep you under the blanket. 

“Honey, are you going to look me in my eyes and tell me that you’re not sick? Because I can see it all over you.” 

You sighed, dropping your face in your hands. “I’m not THAT sick. I…don’t feel great. But you went through all that work for Sunday Funday, I can rally.” 

Ted smiled at you before standing up and walking around to his side of the bed, sliding under the covers. “Baby, I’d plan a million Sunday Fundays and lose money on it a million times before I let you do anythin’ but rest when you don’t feel well.”  Ted wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you back down into the bed and against his chest. “Now, tell me what’s hurtin’?”

You groaned and shut your eyes, relishing in your boyfriend’s warmth. “What doesn’t? I’m cold and hot at the same time, my head aches, my eyes burn. I just feel like shit.” 

Ted chuckled, not unkindly. “And you thought you were gonna rally? I love you so much that you thought ya should, but jeez baby.” Ted kissed the back of your neck. “You get some rest and I’ll go get you some para-whos-a-whatsit—”

“Paracetamol,” you laughed.

“Right, that. And some water and crackers, and we’ll hole up here and maybe watch some movies if you’re feelin’ up to it later.” 

Ted moved to get up, but you grabbed him quickly by the wrist. “Wait! Wait, don’t… don’t go just yet. I’m sorry to be clingy—”

“Hey, hey, look at me.” You rolled over, and looked at Ted who brushed his knuckles gently over your cheekbone. “You don’t owe me a single sorry for wantin’ me around when you’re not feelin’ well. I’ll take care of sick-you every day of the week as long as it means ya ain’t sick o’ me.” 

You smiled, tucking your face into his neck. “Never. I’ll never be sick of you, Ted.” 

You didn’t know how long you slept but when you woke up again, Ted was sitting next to you, reading a book and stroking a hand through your hair, and there was paracetamol and water on your nightstand. An extra blanket was thrown over your shoulders, and a cool towel was on your forehead. 

You sat up slowly and took your medicine, and Ted immediately sat his book down, tugging you gently into his lap and kissing your temple. 

“How ya feelin’ darlin’? Anything I can do for you?” 

“Oh, you’ve done plenty, my love. I’m definitely feeling better. Not good enough to make it to any of our plans, but maybe good enough to shower and move this sick day to the couch for a movie?”

Ted grinned. “Well alright! That’s definitely an improvement. I’ll go get it set up while you hop in the shower. I’m thinking popcorn and maybe a little soup for you? Get somethin’ on your stomach?” 

You were already heading into the bathroom but you turned quickly, a mischievous look in your eye. “I see your soup and raise you one of those cranberry orange muffins you made this morning.” 

“Are you trying to bargain out of your sick food?!” Ted laughed with faux offense and you grinned. 

“Are you going to tell me no?”

Ted shook his head with a smirk and kissed you briefly on the lips, “Never.”

10. Describe their first date.

This is the most fun question to me because I think it really depends on who is hanging out with who. If it's all three, they probably stay in, attempt a complicated recipe they have no right to attempt - Eugene and Mary both read the instructions but only Eugene follows them and Sid has been relegated to prep work only since the Great Oven Fire - and have drinks, listen to music, maybe play a game. This would be Mary-directed, largely; like so many aspects of their coming together, she would think it was important to have a formal 'date', so to speak, that isn't just 'we happened to hang out because we were all home at the same time'.

Sid and Mary's first date was definitely him showing up early to pick her up - the first and last time Sid was early for anything - and nervously but steadfastly pulling out all the stops. They had a picnic. Maybe they rented a rowboat.

Eugene and Mary's first date was after they all lived together. He did the asking, she was delighted, they went to a book store and for coffee on the other side of town where no one knows them.

Eugene and Sid went fishing together and nearly tipped the boat giving each other hickeys because they're such Boys when it's just them.

11. Do either try to hide their emotions if upset? Can the other still tell?

Eugene would love to hide his feelings but tragically it's not one of his gifts. He gets withdrawn and Mary is great at gently trying to redirect that energy without drawing attention to it. Sid is a golden retriever who can't leave him alone but it's always so well-meaning and they know each other so well that resulting spats are very minor.

Mary would love to hide her feelings too, but she's a fixer; if she's upset, they can tell because she's immediately trying to do something about it. Sid is an 'I'll help you fix it unless you ask me not to' and Eugene is an 'I'll leave you alone unless you ask me not to'. She doesn't know what to do about how awful of a war they both had and how they still carry it around so none of them talk about that.

Sid doesn't hide his feelings on purpose, necessarily; he's the king of sincerity but he keeps ending up in situations where there isn't much room for his shit. See: he and Eugene after Eugene arrives in the Pacific. The three of them after he invites Eugene into their house. Eugene and Mary have to figure out how to make that space for him.

12. Do they have many heated arguments? How do they smooth things over?

Once they're past the initial figuring things out, no - Eugene and Sid bicker but they have each other's little hangups mostly figured out. Their spats don't last long. Sid is an 'I brought you flowers' apologizer, Mary is a 'come here, let me touch your face and say I'm sorry' type, and Eugene is a 'I was holding a grudge for a few hours but now I've come to stand with you in the kitchen and help you with this thing you're doing until you forgive me'.

13. Who’s the bigger tease?

Mary. It's not that hard, either - those two idiots are helplessly into her. They'll all be grey and she'll still whisper something in their ears or touch their backs when they're out and it'll turn their heads.

14. How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash?

Mary and Eugene are alike in many ways and Sid is their opposite, but there is something about being three, in an era and situation where it's really them against the world, where they're never out of balance for long.

15. Do they always say 'i love you' before leaving?

Not necessarily in so many words, but they always acknowledge each other. The boys will come around the house to tell Mary when they'll be back if she's outside gardening. Mary will ask if anyone needs anything while she's out. Sid will dole out cheek kisses even when he's late for his classes.

just finished reading part 13. pleaseeeeee😭😭 that was so emotional, my entire heart is just swollen in my chest rn. her finally accepting everything for what it is after the constant push & pull w herself, elvis calling her satnin, the way he handles her in general & how vulnerable he is w her. it’s too muuuchhhhh. i just KNOW he wanted to tell her he love her, i just knowwww that’s what he was holding back. the flashbacks is what really takes me out everytime tho! their connection has been so raw & real from the very beginning, they are really meant for each other.

the day you post the last part to this series is the day i’m hanging up this app🤣🤣🤣 im kidding but i really do love this. the way you capture elvis, it feels like you knew himmmm. i may just be a little too invested in this series but IDC😭

Kaeya’s heart clenches in his chest, old wounds torn again, though he can’t deny that it brings him a sort of peace to hear it. To know that he didn’t- that his ignorance was not his own fault. Though perhaps it is a blessing, in the end - had Diluc not shattered him in the way that he did, there is a chance that he’d never have taken his country’s reins so confidently, with such intent.

As though he might’ve learned how to turn back time by digging into each and every facet of his father’s operations, integrating with them so seamlessly that he would know of a bird taking flight at dawn on the other side of the country no later than noon.

they don't say much but they definitely are enamoured by their s/o. sure, they don't say "i love you" or anything but you can tell that their definition of their universe is their s/o from the way they look at them and treat them.

similar to claude, i can see tsukishima completely closing himself off from others once his s/o dies and would seal off his heart in fear of getting hurt again

Love Should Go On it’s kinda funky, lots of minkey rapping which is just *chef’s kiss* but also the added plus of baby Taemin rapping as well, plus jongyu’s beautiful vocals. Idk there’s just something about this song that I’ve always adored. Maybe because it features all five members’ voices in ways that worked for them, which wasn’t super typical in the earlier albums since Taemin’s voice was still developing. Adorable.

2009:

Ring Ding Dong (yes I’m picking it over Juliette it was a rough decision but I did it) it’s just such typical SHINee in the sense that it’s a timeless bop, everyone knows it, everyone remembers it. Everyone knows NEVER to listen to it before an exam (which I learned the hard way in college bc I thought it was fake as fuck but then haha middle of a history final mumbling ringadingdingding elastic fantastic in my gotdamn head it’s a miracle I passed that exam lmao)

Romeo+Juliette it’s not like a super popular song I don’t think? But again, there’s just something about it that’s so purely SHINee. The beat, the way they sing so well together, the way their voices just match & compliment each other’s so well? It’s a little slower paced, but you could definitely still dance along to it. Kinda sensual I guess? A good teeny bopper song by a teeny bopper band of teeny bopper boys. Was my absolute favorite song all through high school lmao the way jonnghyun’s voice is so soft yet powerful at the same time? Spectacular.

Lucifer I mean it’s just obvious again like Replay, it’s what dragged me into the pits of Kpop hell. Everyone knows Lucifer. It’s quintessential Kpop at this point. Taemin’s dang stripey shirt hypnotized me in that dance practice Istg.

A-Yo is sweet and funny and silly and still so so good all at the same time. Taemin essentially calls you a dumbass in the first like 45 seconds but manages to do it sounding sweet as could be. Really uplifting. Catchy. Easy to sing along to. Listen to it whenever you’re sad and I’m telling you it’s instant happiness. Minho actually gets to sing in it and his voice is just lovely I adore this song with my whole heart. It’s lighthearted and fun. SHINee to me had always just been a group that’s uplifting and comforting, and this song is, in my opinion, the greatest example of that.

The SHINee World (Doo-Bop) [2008] I mean I feel like this is self explanatory. Dibidibidiss my name is Minho.

Jo Jo [2009] again, SHINee’s just good at happy fun sweet songs. Jo Jo is always fun to sing along to.

Electric Heart [2010] is a bit darker in the way it feels. Very sensual. Breathy voices and all that. I was super obsessed with this song in high school as well idk. A nice look at SHINee transitioning into a bit more of a mature group, breaking away from the typical teeny bopper boyband vibe. Still funky fresh tho.

Sherlock aside from being the only title track from 2012 lmao SHINee have often mentioned this was when they felt like they really started acting like a Team and relying on each other more heavily. This was also when the Cold War took place but I personally don’t remember seeing any of it, so to me, Sherlock was just a cool song with a cool dance and Taemin having a terrible weave (and I got in trouble during an after school religion class bc I showed my friend Taemin’s shirtless promo pic and the Youth Leader thought it was porn lmao)

Honesty was a song that really felt personal, idk why. Like the members singing directly to us. Soft and sweet and still so meaningful. Like I’m gonna cry just thinking abt it lmao

Everybody so 2013 is so hard bc so many good songs came out that year. Like I genuinely am having a hard time deciding, but I think Everybody is a good pick because it shows how SHINee has never been afraid to experiment with their sound. It sounds totally different than anything else they had ever put out, but it still was so SHINee. It’s powerful and it makes you pay attention and like lmao god I’m not quiet abt loving a man in uniform so the wardrobe rly did it for me. But also wow all of their vocals are so good in this song THE LONG HIGH NOTES love it love to see it.

Beautiful just seems like a good pick. Again, 2013 is jam packed with amazing songs, it’s difficult to narrow it down. But beautiful was a song that was always super comforting as well. Their high notes and the way they sing together. Idk. I adore this song.

View of course. Still the best summer bop in existence. We really see the members start to get more involved in this song specifically, from Taemin choosing the choreographer, Jonghyun writing lyrics as always, and Key picking the wardrobe. It’s a fun lighthearted song. I still listen to it when I drive by the beach because that’s just the vibe. Definitely a turning point for them, in my opinion, because this is when I think they really become more mature? Idk how to explain it. They don’t seem like a “boyband” anymore at this point to me, they’re just a band.

An Encore genuinely brings me to tears anytime I listen to it. It’s a SHINee ballad, and a really soul crushing one at that lmao. Idk why it’s soul crushing, necessarily, it just is.

2018:

Good Evening 2018 is really hard for me to pick tbh. But Good Evening is a song that’s so heartfelt and emotional and soul crushing while still being fun? Maybe I’m projecting my own feelings from the time it was released to the song itself, but whatever. Good Evening is a bop. Love it. Makes me cry literally every gotdamn time I listen to it love that love crying on the freeway blasting this song it’s great.

Undercover was a personal favorite. Tbh a lot of the songs released in 2018 were very hard for me to listen to, and I still haven’t listened to all of them. I just can’t do it yet. But Undercover was fun and funky and idk, that’s just what SHINee is all about.

2021:

Atlantis listen, this is also a hard decision. Don’t Call Me is quintessential SHINee in the way that it strays from the norm, it’s them trying something entirely new to them, but Atlantis feels like coming home after being away for a long time. It’s not that it’s the same kind of song they usually do, but there’s just something about that’s so familiar and comfortable.

Area is a song I cannot listen to without crying my eyes out. Doesn’t matter how many times I listen to it, doesn’t matter what time of day it is, doesn’t matter what I’m doing. It’s a beautiful song written by Minho and we all know it’s for Jonghyun. And that’s what SHINee is all about, too. It’s about the five of them being together, working together, being a team. The song makes me cry, sure, but it’s a good kind of cry. Also their voices are so beautiful as always.

Dislikes include bullies (I was bullied myself, so I hate it when other people do it) cheaters (been cheated on in a relationship, no way do I wanna go through it again), alcoholics and drug addicts (I would explain why but I don't wanna get into something that might trigger someone, so I won't get into the details, just know that my biological Dad was one and I've seen what alchohol and drugs can do to someone... It's not pretty)

Talents: I know for sure that singing is one of them (which is one of my hobbies XD) and I'm told I'm a talented writer (writing is also one of my hobbies :3), but given the fact that I have a brain that keeps switching focus on ideas for different fandoms I haven't finished anything yet 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

Fears: The list could go on forever.... I have a slight stage fright (I shake a bit until I start singing, but I don't freeze up, never ask me to public speak thou...). Hexxus is a sarcastic fuck as well and is the king of playing hard to get, but surprisingly very submissive to your voice and touch. I'm giffing modc rn and honestly I think it remains my favorite drama despite the cursed ending just because of how great the characters are and how much of an impact so many of them had on me. I just love them so much and especially Hao Ting's friend group just feels like they're all brothers and genuinely love and care for each other so much. Hao Ting and Yu Xi Gu's Love is so soft and they compliment each other so well. Like not even my fav character getting nerfed for no reason could take away the emotions and experiences I had for the 9 episodes before that.

Yeah, for real now, they truly didn’t even bother with them, everything was rushed and bland, they didn’t bond, they had no bonding scene, as someone else said in a meta they didn’t eat nor drink together, as I said in another meta, they could’ve shown Dandelion gifting Jon a new cloak, a lighter one, since the one Sansa made for him, the one he kept wearing was clearly way too heavy, they could’ve shown him accept her gift, they could’ve shown him wearing it, but no, they could’ve had him compliment Dandelion’s dress, but again, they didn’t, he wasn’t shown reacting in any way when Euron approached Dandelion, compare that scene with the choke scene where Sansa wasn’t even bloody there with them, and the difference is striking (click here for the parallel gifset). 

There are so many ways in which they could’ve shown them bond, but they didn’t do it, they gave all those types of scenes to Jon and Sansa only, and that tells you all you need to know. 

Even chickensex was bland, rushed and boring, it had no intimacy, no sweetness, their first kiss happened offscreen, undressing happened offscreen, there was no dialogue, no nothing, and Jon looked on the verge of having a panic attack. I mean, compare it to the Grey Worm and Missandei love making scene, and chickensex was just quick and rushed sex, so yeah… Even Jon and Sansa’s forehead kiss had more intimacy, more emotion, more romance, sweetness, tension etc. than chickensex, the forehead kiss lasts for 16 seconds (the bits where they look at each other right before the forehead kiss and right after are included in those 16 seconds), while chickensex had 20s of sex and 10s of Jon having a panic attack.

Hi! I don't like to be annoying, but remember that thing you wrote about an ambassador coming from a place that you have to have a marriage or something like it and everyone on the Enterprise had to pair up with someone and spones kinda happened...? I wanted to know if you're going to continue writing it... it's actually only me being super curious about everything in this plot, but I'm not gonna be mad if you don't... I really like your work :)

I still think about that one occasionally. I’m about to finish my degree so until then I haven’t been putting any pressure on myself to do anything except homework, so all fandom stuff I do has become v casual. But this is one I’ll probs pick up again! However Discovery has side tracked me quite a bit. I’ll come back home to spones soon enough but rn I’m on the Culmets Hype Train.  

The fic was meant to be spones, and it will be, but I keep getting sidetracked with the Jim/Scotty broship I set up. Cos I think of Scotty as ace so he and Jim sit down and have a serious chat about what they’re limits are (I’ve written the dialog for that but not the filler) and agree that Jim will flirt aggressively with Scotty, but Scotty has to initiate all kisses cos Jim isn’t willing to force Scotty into a surprise kiss. 

This manifests a lot with Jim seriously flirting whenever Scotty is around. Telling him he looks nice, fixing his hair, little trailing touches on his hand. And Scotty doesn’t hate it cos he knows Jim isn’t going to go for a kiss so he just takes the compliments. And often enough Scotty will give Jim a quick peck on his cheek when he leaves the Bridge so they get away with it all very well. 

But for an idea of how Spock and Bones are likely to play out, they sit next to each other at dinner, as instructed, and don’t clearly dislike each other but aren’t cute. Jim gives them a dressing down that night and they agree to kiss the next day. They sort out a way to make it as public as possible so that they don’t have to kiss much more and so the next morning they arrive for breakfast separately, Bones is barely talking to Spock, and eventually Spock demands to know why and Bones is all “you left our bed this morning without kissing me.” 

Spock ends up chasing after him when he leaves and kissing him Dramatically in a hallway full of people and the alien guests (of which there are like two hundred total watching everyone, they’re very superstitious about the marriage thing). The kiss starts perfunctory but they both sort of forget that they’re meant to dislike each other and once it’s done Spock legs it cos he’s Feeling Feelings and Bones just stands there for a few longs seconds getting his mind back. 

Bones also spends a lot of time loudly complaining about the aliens on board and calling them Peeping Toms. 

In the meantime, Uhura and Chapel have agreed that, logically, the best way to pull this off is to pretend to be dating when they’re alone so that the emotions dont get so whiplash-y in public. They’re legit dating by the end of the week.

Chekov and Sulu are just being bros about it and Chekov keeps trying to cop a feel and Sulu is having a laugh evading him. They have a bet to see if Chekov can make Sulu actually blush. Sulu, of course, wins the bet and makes Chekov blush like eight times.
