Still really sick of this idea of pregnancy, especially male pregnancy, as something inherently comedic and demeaning. Sick of artists going "hehe I can just draw my enemies pregnant 😈" and jokingly labelling terrible people as "omegas" (which also plays into the idea of being a sub or bottom as inherently degrading). Like y'all. Carrying a baby is just a thing that some people's bodies can do. Treating it like "punishment" for bad behaviour, or as nothing but a silly joke, is just kinda fucked up???? I'm a man who can get pregnant. I don't plan on doing so, but I enjoy it as a concept in fiction (both in sexual contexts and non-sexual ones). Sometimes these concepts are framed positively and sometimes not, but it feels like EVERY TIME I see someone talking about a male character getting pregnant, it's for the laughs. I'm tired of feeling like a punchline, and I can't even imagine how men who've actually gotten pregnant and/or given birth feel about this. Cut it out.

hey fujii do you wanna hear about a silly little thing i thought of earlier. so you know how in red/blue rescue team, eevee used to be in the "naive" category, whereas in explorers of sky, it's in the "jolly" category? it made me think about ribbons, specifically because of how the rescue team personality test describes the naive trait.

in rescue team, the naive type is described to be someone whos highly curious, and someone who likes rare things. their cheerful and carefree make everything fun for the people around them, but they also have the flaw of being childish, never sitting still, and always being on the move. (it also says that they might be selfish but i dont see that applying to ribbons tbh..)

it seems so oddly fitting for ribbons because her personality does show those traits in particular. she's a silly little thing and her bright cheery personality, and she is childish to some extent. and of course, can't forget her curiosity. especially with how curious she got when it came to dusknoir. and of course, we can't forget about the *actual* definition of naive. naivety in the sense of choosing to believe that dusknoir, despite how his aura flared with malice, bared no ill intent. to think that someone who is so great, so wise, so kind and caring could ever be capable of shattering her world apart.. that was naive. because she believed he was what she thought he was, and because it was her naivety that nearly got her and aimilios killed. you'd think she'd have learned from the drowzee incident where two kids displaying trust in a spur-of-the-moment stranger who coincidentally showed them kindness in their misfortune was a mistake, but i suppose that's what being a naive little child does to you.

Okay I have something on my mind....!

Everyone always writes fics about Steve finding he enjoys dnd as long as he is playing with his boyfriend. That Eddie gave him that time to learn to do the things and didn't call him stupid like the kids would.

But now consider... Eddie learning about sport.

Not to play it, god no. His exercise is limited to carrying bandeqquipment and that's more than enough torture for him (absolute drama king). But Steve and Wayne will sometimes watch a sport of their choice. And well, Eddie knows Steve is not all that interested in dnd but still tries. And Eddie knows this is something important to Steve. So he wants in on the bonding time, of his own accord without anyone prompting him because he's a good boyfriend. Now, yes, Eddie did totally go to a few of their schools games, but did he learn any of the rules no of course not! He skipped gym all the time. Those events were for jock-in-shorts purposes only. And now he has his own jock sooo....

Basically, Eddie will try to engage, asking about rules, why Steve and Wayne just shouted, was that a good cheer or a kill the referee kind of cheer? And Steve will explain it all to Eddie, returning the favor of Eddie being so patient when Steve was learning dnd unintentionally. Steve is just so happy he now gets to talk sports with someone he loves, because he sure couldn't with his parents. He loves Eddie a little bit more every time he asks a "dumb" question (Steve knows better than anyone there aren't any dumb questions when first learning about something new, no matter what people say. Hence why he would be a great kindergarden teacher :D ) And Eddie will still get the rules wrong a lot of the time... on purpose!

He just loves hearing Steve talk about his passion, in his element. Finds it very sweet. And pretty hot. Because he is smitten.

Tell me they would not be this disgustingly sweet hah you can't I'm right!!!

I just finished Cassandra's quest (finally) and objectively the Seekers are 100% fucking worse than the Grey Wardens hands down

For an organization whose only purpose is to combat corruption among the templars and investigate templars/circle wrongdoings they are really bad at it.

At least the Wardens do what they are made for. Those BAMFs jump of towers, wade through darkspawn and even gained the undying respect of both Qunari and Dwarves. All that and they still beat the shit out of darkspawn and archdemons

Seekers are mage-lite and can't even detect a whole demon beneath their noses.

Wardens are tragic heroes while the seekers can't even tell another seeker "hey you were made tranquil and then a spirit touched your mind and broke it, welcome to the possesion club fam"

At least a warden can be honest with another warden "yeah we darkspawn light, you wanna grab another beer?"

me doing the marriage thing with noah is very funny because the only reason I got here is that I slowly crawled my way through the stages of feelings that I go through which is typically making fun of them -> saying I like them and playing around with the idea of shipping with them but doing so in a self-deprecating way e.g. I'm not worthy of being happy so I'll dance around the subject -> waiting a year or longer to finally feel comfortable with saying I like them and that my feelings are valid -> rearrange ship lore to be more self indulgent and sometimes the very last step is to marry them so congrats noah you've gone up in the world (become fake husband)
