Steve and Eddie meet through their local buy-nothing-sell-nothing group when Steve’s getting ready to move in with Robin and he realizes he can't keep everything he owns while trying to merge households with her.
The first time they meet, Steve hadn't even been meaning to actually meet the person picking up the free toaster oven he’s giving away.
He’s setting his toaster oven outside his house on the porch when Eddie hops out of his van to pick it up and it would be rude to duck back inside without saying anything since he obviously sees him coming up, so they make small talk for a minute and Steve has to keep his eyeballs in check because they keep wanting to rake all the way down this guy’s body.
He’s covered in tattoos and so extremely Steve's type, but he knows better than to hit on someone who lives in his neighborhood and is not here for that reason.
He laments to Robin about it the next day, about the hot guy who’s probably using Steve's toaster oven as they speak, who he’ll probably never see again.
Robin rolls her eyes fondly at him and tells him that maybe if he puts more stuff up for grabs on the facebook group, he might see him again, but Steve suspects she just wants him to get rid of more of his stuff so it doesn't overcrowd their new apartment.
The set of items he puts up in the group next is an old blender and a butcher block that has three of the knives missing—seriously where did those knives go? He has yet to find them.
He tries to pretend he isn't secretly hoping Eddie will comment under his post that he wants the items, but he isn't fooling himself when his heart literally skips a beat when the first comment is from Eddie. He messages him and tells him to stop by later that day.
When Eddie shows up, they talk for longer than last time, Eddie asking why Steve needs to get rid of so much stuff and Steve asking why Eddie needs all this stuff—especially considering Steve snooped through the group and saw that Eddie joined over a year ago and hadn't once commented before now (he doesn't mention that thought, but he is thinking it real hard).
Eddie laughs and says he was in the market for a toaster oven when Steve posted one and wouldn't you know it? He also needs a blender—the knife set is just a bonus, he says.
Steve tries not to read too much into it, but his brain is spinning the interaction around in his head for the next week.
He puts up a space heater in the group and within minutes, Eddie has claimed it.
“I should just get your number and text you directly when I find something I want to get rid of next time,” Steve says flippantly when Eddie comes by to grab it that night. “Instead of clogging up the facebook group.”
Eddie smirks at him and steps a little closer. He says, “Maybe you should.”
His neighbor’s car alarm decides to go off right at that moment, ruining the flirty atmosphere with its incessant shrill. They can barely hear each other over the drone of it, so Eddie leaves without giving Steve his number and Steve is left feeling like he keeps having these missed connection moments with Eddie.
In a fit of desperation to see Eddie again, Steve puts up a bunch of random stuff in the group the next day—a shoe rack that’s missing a piece, a step stool, a cheap side table he got from Ikea—and Eddie is still the first person to comment like he’s been refreshing the page, just waiting for Steve to post.
“I left without giving you my number last time and I didn't want to be creepy and message you unprompted,” Eddie says as they load the side table into his van. “I think I was overthinking things and then got kind of spooked.”
“It doesn't look like anything could spook you,” Steve says.
When they get the side table inside the back of the van, Eddie turns to him and admits, “A very pretty boy could.”
Steve can feel his face getting hot. “You think I’m pretty?” he asks.
Eddie nods. “Why do you think I keep coming here? There's no way a person who’s lived here for as long as I have would need all this stuff.”
“Did you need any of it?” Steve asks in a teasing voice. “Or were you just so blown away by how cute my profile picture is that you just had to meet me?”
“Oh, I needed the toaster oven, but everything after that was just to see you again,” Eddie says before biting his lip.
There’s an entire swarm of butterflies in his stomach when Eddie's hand brushes his, when Steve takes Eddie's hand in his and leads him inside his box-filled house.
Later, when they’re making out on Steve's couch—when Steve really should still be packing since he has to move in less than a week—he pulls back to ask, “Wait, so are you gonna put the rest of the stuff you don't need back up for grabs in the group? I feel like that would start so much neighborhood gossip.”
Eddie grins wide and Steve wants to kiss him again, wants to feel his smile against his mouth.
“Oh, we’ll be the talk of the town, baby,” Eddie says, pulling him back in.

You Drew Stars Around My Scars
Pairing: Azriel x Reader
Summary: Azriel and Reader meet one day and the connection is instantaneous. Azriel becomes worried though, when Reader starts showing up late to their dates more consistently. When the truth comes out, they need to figure out how to keep moving forward.
Based on this request! Thank you for sending it in, I hope you like it! 🩷
Word Count: 3.8k
The market was bustling today and Azriel cringed slightly, pulling his wings in even tighter behind him. He had no idea why Amren had insisted that he be the one to pick up the items she needed for her new project. Perhaps because she knew that he would be the least likely to complain.
He was approaching the stall that carried what Amren needed when his gaze snagged on someone at a neighboring one and he stopped dead in his tracks, causing the people around him to curse and move around him, irritated.
Azriel barely heard it though, his attention fully on you. You had a simple dress on, but it accentuated your curves beautifully, your hair was loose, falling down your back in ringlets. The way you moved was graceful as you picked up an item to inspect.
But your smile as you talked to the owner of the stall, the way it lit up your face with such kindness… that is what made Azriel’s knees feel like they were about to give out.
He longed to approach you, but by the time that he had come to his senses enough to start moving, you too had moved, working your way through the market. It was so crowded that he lost track of you.
Crestfallen, he went back to the stall and got the supplies for Amren.
---
Days later, Azriel still could not get you out of his mind. That damn smile haunted his dreams and his every waking moment.
So much so, that at the earliest opportunity, he went back to the market, his eyes raking the crowd for any sign of you. He seriously contemplated flying up to a rooftop for a better angle, but that would probably be frowned upon.
He perused the market, feeling a bit foolish. The Night Court’s spymaster, reduced to wandering around the market on his day off like a lost puppy in hopes of finding a woman he didn’t even know.
His spirits lifted dramatically though, when he saw you. You were perusing a stall, inspecting a jar with a shiny liquid inside.
Azriel didn’t let himself hesitate this time, dodging people milling about as he strode for you. Eventually, he appeared at your side, and you looked up at him, so surprised to suddenly see a large, looming male next to you, that you dropped the jar that you were holding.
Smoothly, he caught it before it hit the ground and offered it to you. Your eyes sparked with recognition as you studied him: the wings, the Illyrian clothing, the shadows twirling around his biceps.
Your fingers brushed his as you took the jar back from him and you murmured, “Thank you.”
He nodded, offering you a faint smile, not sure what to say. He hadn’t thought this far ahead.
“You’re the High Lord’s shadowsinger,” you said, looking up at him, sounding a little breathless.
“I am. But most people just call me Azriel,” he said, a note of humor edging his voice.
That smile you had offered the others before was now turned on him, and he felt as if the ground was swaying underneath him. You offered him your name, before saying, “I feel a bit like I’m meeting a celebrity.”
Azriel could feel slight heat in his cheeks, and tried to maintain the neutral expression he nearly always wore. He waved his hand dismissively, “Trust me, I’m not. Cassian is more of the celebrity. I mostly blend into the shadows.”
You tilted your head, looking up at him from beneath your lashes, studying the hard line of his jaw, his hazel eyes, the curve of his mouth. “That’s a shame,” you said, a little wistfully.
Azriel’s heart was thundering now. “Do you want to get dinner?”
Your smile widened. “I think I can make that happen. Tomorrow?”
“Tomorrow,” he agreed.
You picked the restaurant and the time, and just like that, Azriel had a date.
---
The date was, in his opinion, nothing short of amazing.
He had arrived a bit early to dinner, and you waltzed up to the restaurant exactly on time, looking like a vision. Part of your hair was braided around your head like a crown, but part was still flowing down over your shoulders, curled. Your dress hugged the curve of your waist, the hem landing midway down your shin, perfect for the summer.
You beamed as you approached him, and Azriel had to concentrate to keep his breathing steady. The two of you were seated outside, watching the sun set over the river.
The conversation was easy. You kept it light and playful, grazing your hand against his bicep every once in a while when you laughed, the sound bright and beautiful.
Flirting, he realized. You were flirting with him. Laughing with him. Making him laugh.
Mother, when was the last time he had felt like this?
Had he ever felt like this?
After dinner ended, you stood up and gently took his hand in yours, tugging lightly so he stood up too, towering over you. “Do you want to take a walk?” you asked, your eyes sparkling under the stars that were out by then.
“Lead the way,” he said, one side of his mouth turning up into a smile.
You led him to the artists’ quarter, the lights vibrant against the night. He watched as your eyes lit up at the site, marveling at all the artwork, the people milling about.
“Oh, look!” you exclaimed, excitedly pulling him to a painting of the mountains surrounding Velaris. “It’s beautiful,” you told the painter, who nodded in thanks, smiling.
Azriel couldn’t help but stare as you took in the painting, your eyes alight.
“Are you a painter?” he asked.
“I try to be,” you grinned at him. “I’m not very good.”
Before he could respond, another painting caught your eye and you gasped, tugging on his hand, leading him through the crowd. Azriel laughed, and you turned back to smile at him, your whole face lighting up. His heart swelled.
On and on you went, his lifeboat pulling him through the sea of artists. He could have gone on like that forever, he thought.
You were about to pull him to another painting when you suddenly turned to him, flushed. “I’m sorry,” you said. “I’ve gotten carried away, haven’t I?”
Azriel shook his head, smiling. “Not at all.”
You smiled, seeming shy all of a sudden. “It’s late,” you said. “I should probably head back.”
“Can I walk you home?”
Your smile grew and you nodded your head for him to follow. Your arms brushed as you walked, taking in the night air.
It was a short walk to your house, and you stopped before the door and smiled up at him. “Thank you, Azriel. Tonight was… amazing.”
Azriel couldn’t help but smile back at you. “It was.”
You stood on your tiptoes and kissed his cheek lightly before turning to the door, and Azriel said your name, stopping you before you could open it. “Can I see you again?”
You beamed. “Meet me by the Rainbow in two days?”
Smirking, Azriel said, “Absolutely.”
---
Azriel could hardly focus on anything else while he waited to see you again. His friends absolutely knew something was up with him, but did not pester him about it. Yet.
Two days after the initial date, Azriel was waiting in the Rainbow, where you had told him you wanted to meet.
He waited. And waited.
Trying to stomp down his growing anxiety that you wouldn’t show, he gazed at the art around him. You had been right on time to your first date. Had you changed your mind about him?
He was about to walk through the artists’ quarter, wondering if he had not remembered correctly where you wanted to meet, when you finally arrived, your cheeks flushed, but you looked beautiful as ever.
“I’m so sorry,” you said, a little breathless. “Something came up -- it’s hard to explain. I swear I tried to be on time.”
Azriel was just glad that you had come. “It’s alright,” he smiled reassuringly.
Your eyes twinkled under the stars, relieved. “Thank you.”
His smile widened and he lightly squeezed your upper arm, trying to soothe you.
You smiled slowly and arched an eyebrow, mischief written all over your face. “So, I had an idea.”
“I’d love to hear it.”
Laughing, you said, “Let’s go dancing.”
Azriel’s smile dropped. You laughed even more. “Dancing,” he repeated.
“Dancing,” you grinned.
“I can’t dance.”
“Oh, please. Everyone can dance.”
“Not me,” Azriel said, smiling despite himself.
“Please,” she murmured, taking a step closer to him and looking up at him from under her lashes. “For me?”
Azriel sighed, raking a hand through his hair. You knew you already had him wrapped around his little finger. “Fine.”
You squealed with delight, taking his hand in yours and walking in the direction of the Velaris night clubs. Azriel tried to focus on the positives: your soft hand in his, how happy you were, how your hair bounced as you walked.
By the time you got to the nightclub, Azriel’s felt like his heart was in his throat. He really did not dance.
But you strode right in, glancing back at him with the biggest smile on your face. You led him right into the middle of the crowd of people pulsing with the music.
He stood still and watched as you moved your hips, your arms up above your head, twirling around like you didn’t have a care in the world. I could easily fall in love with this woman, he thought. Easily.
You turned back to him and laughed brightly, placing your hands on his hips, trying to make them move. He didn’t budge, which made you laugh even more. “Come on, shadowsinger. Live a little!”
He wanted to, if only to make you happy, but he couldn’t focus on anything but your hands on him and that smile that knocked the breath out of his lungs.
Studying him for a moment, you said over the music, “Okay, I see we need to try a different tactic,” you said, taking his hand in yours and leading him to the edge of the dance floor, where it was less crowded.
You stepped right up to him then, so your bodies were barely an inch away. You took both of his hands and settled them on your hips, then placed your hands on his shoulders.
“Don’t think so much, just move,” you said, your voice light and teasing.
He towered over you, watching as you moved your hips, lightly pushing and pulling on his shoulders so he would move with you. It took nearly a full song, but eventually his body relaxed, letting himself be guided by you.
“There you go,” you grinned.
Suddenly, the song slowed significantly, and you looked up at him, becoming slightly shy again.
He gazed down at you, smiling faintly as he pulled you in closer to him, keeping one hand at your waist and taking one of your hands in his.
Azriel swore he saw your breath catch as you studied his face, eyes slightly wide. Azriel tightened his grip on you slightly when your eyes dipped to his mouth and lingered there.
Holding his breath, he leaned in slowly, stopping a breath away from your lips, giving you a moment to back up if you wanted to. But, you surged forward, connecting your mouth with his.
He smiled into the kiss, bringing a scarred hand up to gently cup your cheek.
You wrapped your arms around his neck, deepening the kiss, and as the music swelled to a crescendo, he wrapped his arms tightly around your waist, lifting you off the ground. You gasped into his mouth, bending your knees as he held you in the air.
Gently, he set you down a few moments later, and when he pulled back, you were smiling, your cheeks dusted red.
“That might have been the most romantic thing that’s ever happened to me,” you said, your tone teasing, but your eyes alight.
“Me too,” Azriel murmured, unable to tear his gaze away from your beautiful face.
The two of you spent hours together, and Azriel found himself unable to keep his hands off you. You seemed the same way, always placing a hand on his arm, on his shoulder, while he rested his hand on your hips, the small of your back, or held your hand in his.
For hours, he watched you dance, and willed his body to move with you, only because your eyes shined, your smile bright, when he did so.
At the end of the night, he walked you home once again, this time pulling you in by the waist and kissing you until you were breathless, twining his hand into your soft hair, your hands on his face.
---
Weeks passed, and the two of you kept meeting as often as your schedules would allow.
Azriel would have been on cloud nine… except that he was starting to have his doubts. When the two of you were together, it was amazing, a connection and energy that he had never felt with anybody before. In the privacy of his own mind, he was even willing to concede that he had absolutely fallen for you.
But he couldn’t pretend that everything was perfect. You had been late to nearly every date. He would always be unnerved waiting for you, thinking that this would be the time that you would leave him hanging, never to be heard from again. But then, you would come, always breathless, like you had rushed to get there, and would apologize profusely, but never giving an explanation. Azriel couldn’t help but wonder if you were not as interested in him as he was in you.
He considered talking to Cassian or Rhys about it, but had a suspicion that they would not be very helpful.
So eventually, he decided just to talk to you about it. He didn’t want you to feel like you had to keep seeing him if you didn’t want to.
There was clearly movement in your house as he approached. He took a deep breath before knocking.
Your eyes were wide in surprise, but not unhappy, when you opened the door. “Azriel,” you smiled. “What are you doing here?”
“I wanted to talk to you,” he said, quietly.
You opened your mouth to respond, but before anything could come out, a little boy, a toddler came running to the door, stopping dead in his tracks when he saw Azriel hulking in the doorway.
The boy gaped at Azriel, his mouth hanging open in shock, before turning to you, “Mom! That’s the shadowsinger!” he squealed, running up to said shadowsinger and wrapping his tiny arms around Azriel’s legs, his head not even meeting Azriel’s knees. The boy looked up at Azriel in awe, “you are so cool.”
Azriel’s head spun, trying to process the information in front of him, but he couldn’t focus over the feeling of his heart absolutely melting as he gazed at this boy, full of such joy. He patted the boy’s back, smiling. “You think so?”
He nodded vigorously, his curly hair that matched his mother’s flicking over his eyes. “I wish I could be a spy.”
Azriel grinned. “I can teach you, if your mom says it’s okay.”
The boy gasped, and Azriel looked at you for the first time since your son had made himself known. You looked like you were about to cry, your hands clasped in front of you. He couldn’t tell if that was a good thing or not.
“Honey, why don’t you go play for a little bit?” you said, your voice slightly shaky, steering your son into the other room. “Mom has to talk to Mr. Shadowsinger about grownup stuff for a little bit.”
He pouted a bit, but did as he was told, reluctantly untangling himself from Azriel and toddling into the next room.
You sighed when you were alone with Azriel, searching his face.
“This is why you’ve been late,” Azriel said, his voice thick with emotion.
You nodded. “I’m sorry.”
Azriel took your hand in his, trying to ground himself. “Why didn’t you just tell me?”
Your eyes filled with tears, and Azriel’s heart cracked. “Most males aren’t interested in raising someone else’s kid. And I liked you… I was too scared to lose you.”
There was no breath in Azriel’s lungs. He ached for you, for what you had no doubt been through with other males who you tried to date. He wanted to rip them to shreds. Slowly, he leaned down, gently kissing each tear away.
“I’m not going anywhere,” he said softly, leaning his forehead against yours. “Not unless you want me to.”
You sniffed, looking up at him through damp lashes. “I don’t want you to.”
Azriel smiled softly. “Good,” he murmured, pulling you into his chest, resting his chin on the top of your head.
You stayed like that for a while, holding each other, before he asked, “What’s his name?”
“Jax.”
“Do you think Jax has it in him to be a spymaster?”
You laughed against his chest, and Azriel smiled into your hair. “I think he can be whatever he wants to be.”
He pulled back to look at you, tilting his face down to meet your eye. “Do you want me in his life? If it’s too soon, that’s okay. But I would love to get to know him, eventually.”
That beautiful smile shone on your face as you said, “I would love that.”
For the rest of the afternoon, Azriel taught Jax how to be a spy. They ran around the house, ducking behind furniture, following invisible enemies.
Azriel glanced at you periodically, reveling in the bright smile on your face, your eyes shining.
---
Jax became an important fixture in Azriel’s life, often accompanying your dates around Velaris. One day, Azriel had recruited Feyre to help get you all into a painting class for all ages.
You grinned as Azriel led you and Jax into the studio set up with paints and easels. There were a few other families there, setting up their work stations.
“Azriel, will you make a painting with me?” Jax asked, his green eyes wide as he looked up at Az.
“Are you sure you don’t want to make your own?” Azriel asked.
Jaz nodded. “I’m sure,” he said, taking Azriel’s hand and leading him to the paint station to pick out colors. Jax chose color after color, handing them all to Azriel, who was grinning, trying to keep hold of all the paints.
You beamed, your heart full as you watched your son and Azriel together, laughing as they painted together. The easel was set up for Jax to reach it, so Az was sitting on the floor in order to reach it whenever Jax demanded that he contribute to their painting.
Azriel was smiling and laughing with the boy, adding in elementary looking trees and bushes wherever Jax instructed him.
By the end, they had a painting that looked very much like a toddler made it. It was nearly impossible to tell who had painted what: Jax or Azriel.
You laughed as Azriel showed it off to you with a flourish, Jax excitedly bouncing on his toes. “Mom, can we hang this up at home?”
“Of course we can,” you grinned, your heart swelling at Azriel’s soft, loving smile.
Azriel came up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin on your shoulder to look at your painting while Jaz was busy admiring his own painting.
“I thought you said you weren’t very good,” Azriel murmured, his heart swelling as he took in the painting that you had created.
It was of that day, of Azriel and Jax painting together. Jax happily paints while Azriel sits on the floor, grinning at him, holding the palette of paint up for Jax to use.
“Do you like it?” you said quietly.
“I love it,” he said, nuzzling your neck. “I love you.”
He felt you stiffen beneath his fingers and froze. He had just realized that was the first time he had told you.
You twisted in his arms, turning to face him, your eyes shining. “I love you too, Az.”
Azriel’s knees nearly buckled with relief. He gave you a quick, sweet kiss, wishing he wasn’t in public.
---
By Starfall, the three of you were really starting to feel like a family, and Azriel had never been happier. Cassian and Rhys teased him about it relentlessly, but he knew it was because they were happy for their brother who had finally found happiness like they had.
Azriel kept by your side, his hand on the small of your back as you navigated the crowded balcony on the House of Wind, Jax holding onto your hand.
The three of you had spent the beginning of the celebration with the rest of Azriel’s family, and even though they had met before, Jax remained completely enamored with Feyre, Rhysand and Cassian, asking them a million questions about being the High Lady, High Lord, and the commander of armies, respectfully. The three just laughed, going along with it until Azriel deemed it was time to give his brothers and his High Lady a break.
The three of you stood together, holding hands, looking to the sky as the music started and the spirits started to move across the sky, slowly at first, and then thousands of them, shooting across the world like shooting stars.
Jax watched awestruck for a few minutes before he noticed that there were children playing a game on the far side of the balcony, and he looked to you excitedly, running over to them after you had nodded.
“Stay where we can see you!” Azriel called after him.
You turned to Azriel, hugging his waist, gazing up into his eyes lovingly.
“What?” Azriel smiled, sliding his hand down your back, making you shiver.
“I’ve just never been this happy,” you murmured.
“I haven’t either,” Azriel said softly, leaning down to kiss you.
Azriel pulled your body into his then, leading you into a slow, romantic dance underneath the falling stars.
“Happy Starfall,” he said, gazing down at you with all the love in the world.
“Happy Starfall, Az,” you said.

“I have a date tomorrow guys.”
Everyone’s head instantly lifts up from their phones at this sudden announcement, collectively drawing their attention at you. You weren’t expecting all of them to gasp and swap such looks of genuine confusion. It’s starting to make you think maybe this situation was a lot more serious than you’ve bargained it out to be.
You couldn’t fathom it either honestly, the realization of you going out with someone probably won’t settle in until you’re physically on the date. Based on their initial responses though, you might regret everything you’re about to say, but it’s far too late to retract any of your statements now.
“No way.. with who??” Danielle is the first out of everyone to ask.
Taehyung chimes in as well, “Yeah, who’s the lucky person? They’ve gotta be something seriously special to be talking to you.”
Well, you suppose you could put it that way.
You already have a preconceived notion of what they’re going to think of this “idea”. Mentally preparing yourself to receive a flood of questions and critique from your close friends.
“Actually… I rented him. For the week.”
Now they’re all looking at you like you’ve officially lost it. The room got scarily quiet, no one wanted to be the first to speak. You should’ve anticipated on their reactions being like this, it isn’t everyday someone just openly admits to buying a partner online. Nowadays there’s a lucrative market for just about anything, when you stumbled upon an ad for this service called ‘RentABoyfriend.com’ you didn’t think much of it. You laughed the concept off at first, thinking how lonely people must be to buy someone else’s time.
But the ads kept popping up, they wouldn’t stop showing in almost every YouTube video you were watching— even one of your favorite YouTubers promoted them before! So one day you finally decided to check this website out, you wanted to see what the hype’s all about so you signed up just for shits and giggles. You weren’t expecting to actually be somewhat interested in trying this thing out, but after going through a couple different profiles and reading hundreds of positive reviews you were practically sold.
“You rented out a boyfriend..? Seriously ___? I mean, I’m not judging but you’re a gorgeous girl you can easily get a boyfriend without paying for someone’s companionship, I don’t see why you need to rent one.” Mark bluntly expressed his opinion, he was probably the most outspoken out of all of you guys.
Taehyung and Danielle both agreed in unison, it’s practically 3 against 1 at this point. You knew you should’ve waited to tell them but you weren’t anticipating on them being this judgmental about it. You were hoping for a little more support, as they’re all way more experienced than you in the dating scene and could lend some helpful advice about your first date, ever.
See, the thing is you’ve never tried dating before so you wouldn’t know the first thing about it or what to expect from your future partner. You’ve never had a boyfriend, let alone held hands or kissed someone of the opposite sex. Being in your twenties it’s kind of embarrassing to say you’ve never done those things, but you thought what better way to try it out than renting a full-on experience that can give you just that? Well minus the kissing part, but you can make it work.
You were skeptical of doing this whole ‘rent-a-boyfriend’ thing at first because you didn’t think there’d be anyone you’d find suitable enough. A big part of the reason that you’re still single is because you’re extremely picky, you want to date a guy who’s so perfect that he must’ve came straight out of an indie romance film. Your friends would tease you for having such unrealistic standards when it came to dating but you were the all-or-nothing type, you’ll be single with fifty cats before you settle for less. Renting a boyfriend is definitely an unconventional idea of easing into dating but you thought it might be worth a try anyway.
What’s the worse that could happen?
Tumblr media
( 1 day earlier )
Hovering your cursor over the bold red text of the website, you read over the main rules before going on to select the person you want for your date.
‘The rules are simple:
You are allowed to see only ONE person at a time, if you want to switch boyfriends you’ll have to pay a $50 fee.
MUST be over 18 to rent a boyfriend, we have implemented an age verification system before the date as we do not tolerate anyone under this age to use our services.
NO kissing, or sexual intimacy allowed. If this is found out later on by our agency we will terminate your contract and ban you from using our services in the future.
Remember to have fun !! ^_^ Our services are great for people who are new to dating or have never been in a relationship. We provide the ~ultimate~ boyfriend experience to all our clients. Customer satisfaction is 100% guaranteed ! (NO REFUNDS)’
Well jeez… they seemed a bit strict but you can deal with those rules and restrictions for the most part.
After hours of skimming through hundreds of profiles, you have a hard time choosing which you like most. Did you want an artsy, shy kind of guy? The tattooed, bad boy aesthetic type? You really couldn’t pick one until you stumble upon a particular profile that catches your eye almost immediately.

I hope we can get to know each other and make great memories in the future :)
Going through his pictures you couldn’t believe someone was capable of being this humanely attractive. Don’t even get started on those impeccable muscles either… He really had to sport them in every other one of his photos, wearing the tightest shirts to show the outline of his insanely sculpted frame. You might have just been mesmerized from his godlike visuals alone. They even had a Valentine’s Day deluxe package that comes with seven dates in total for half the price, which they specified was for a limited time only.
$600 later you’ve got a full week of dates lined up with the hottest guy you’ve ever seen in all your years of living. You should’ve definitely went shopping before considering all this because now you actually have a reason to get dolled up for someone.
Tumblr media
You were so nervous about going on this date you almost cancelled last minute out of fear. Typing out several different elaborate paragraphs to Changbin on why you couldn’t make it. You didn’t have his real phone number, it was all through an app facilitated by the rental company that was included in the package. Even though you were feeling overwhelmed and practically shaking with anxiety about meeting up with a guy, you still forced yourself to go anyway. You didn’t just dish out all that money just to not show up and waste his time on top of all that.
Your rental boyfriend texted you the location to meet at, it was near a train station so you both could see each other out in a public open space. The outfit you wore was fairly simple, a black mini skirt with warm tights underneath and a cropped turtleneck sweater. You accessorized the look with some dainty jewelry, a thin scarf, and knee high boots to pull everything together. It wasn’t something you usually wore but you had certain clothes you saved for a special occasion like this.
Upon your arrival, you notice him standing near a vending machine and waves over at you with the biggest smile plastered on his face. You awkwardly wave back, giving a soft smile as you slowly walk up to him. He looks even better in person, you don’t even feel adequate enough to be in such a gorgeous man’s presence. No wonder he’s so popular on the site, he’s practically unreal.
“Hi, you must be ___. It’s so nice to finally meet you, might I add you look really beautiful today, I think you’re making my heart race just by looking at you. Happy Valentine’s Day!” Changbin introduces himself, buttering you up with some sweet compliments before handing you the most insane bouquet of roses you’ve ever seen.
You take the flowers and almost stumble backwards from how heavy they were, “Wow, thank you!” Changbin prevents you from falling, quickly coming up behind you to get your balance back.
“Careful honey, can’t have you injured on our first date!” He voices with concern, “I hope you love the idea I came up with, I’ve only been to this place once before but I’m sure it’s still as fun as I remember it, let’s go!” Eagerly grabbing your hand to begin the journey, he turns around again to examine your body language.
“You seem a little tense babe? Do you need a massage?” He asks in a concerned tone again, this is all really beginning to freak you out. You know this is what you signed up for but this was all starting to feel a bit too personal, all the nicknames and sweet talk he’s giving is just something you aren’t used to.
“Uh, no! It’s o-okay.” You shook your head, denying anything suspicious going on. Truth be told you were barely able to contain your composure right now.
Changbin keeps on insisting, “The massage is included in the package so you don’t have to worry about getting charged extra.”
“N-no it’s okay, really. I’m just nervous that’s all, sorry I just don’t meet up with guys…” you shyly admit, finding it hard to look him in the eye.
He nods in understanding, “No need to be nervous with me sweetheart. I’m here to make you feel as comfortable as possible.” The smile he flashes at you instantly makes you warm on the inside, he seems like a genuine, caring person. You think things might go well for you after all.
The rest of the night was full of only good vibes and laughter by the end of it all. Changbin took you to an adult arcade that had old video games like Pac-Man, Super Mario, and Space Invaders, the other side was a bar where people could sit, drink, and socialize. He bought all your drinks that night, let you use up most of his tokens and overall had the most fun you could’ve ever had with someone. He was so easygoing but also knew when to act super caring and would be all lovey dovey with you. He was gentle, nurturing, and could have conversations about anything. You loved that he’d randomly drop some interesting fact you never knew about, or talked about a certain niche topic that he’d go on multiple rants over. It didn’t feel like you were renting someone out to date you, it felt natural— like you’ve known him for longer than a couple hours. Changbin walked you home and held your hand the entire time, along with the flowers he provided a teddy bear and a heart shaped box of chocolates. If that didn’t scream boyfriend goals then you don’t know what does.
Tumblr media
The next day you wake up to Changbin blowing your phone up this morning. You had over 26 messages from him, which was pretty excessive in your humble opinion. The first thing he said was good morning then he goes on to express how fun yesterday was and he can’t wait to do it again. He even sent a couple mirror selfies of him at the gym, ‘conceited much?’ You thought. But then again, if you were Seo Changbin you’d probably be full of yourself too.
For today’s date you wore a pretty red sundress that made your skin glow in the sunlight. It’ll definitely get him to compliment you even more— which you secretly love when he does. Changbin calls you before he heads out to the date, letting you know how excited he is to see you again. You couldn’t stop smiling like an idiot on the train as you made your way to the destination, thinking about what he’s planned for you two next. This time you’ll be meeting up at a park but you still have no clue what you’re doing.
Changbin texts you where exactly he is in the park, it was pretty huge so it took you a while to get to him. As you get closer you see him sitting on a large blanket by the lake, on top of it were a bunch of different foods and snacks scattered all around that came out of a huge picnic basket. You were speed walking at this point trying to get to him. His arms opened out for a hug and you lean right into him, what you didn’t expect was for him to suddenly stand up and lift you in his arms to swing around you like a doll.
“Put me down I’m scared of heights!” You squeal out in fear of being too high up in the air. Maybe you really should’ve taken the bio on his profile more seriously when he mentioned certain things.
Finally putting you down after minutes go by of you protesting, Changbin sits you back onto the blanket. He brought an assortment of breads, cheese, fruits, lemonade that he made himself and a couple seltzers. You’ve never seen anyone put such time and effort into a date before, even being here with him is like living in a daydream. He was definitely succeeding in making you feel comfortable, which is something you never thought was possible with men. He actually took his time getting to know you and didn’t sound arrogant whenever he talked about himself, Changbin was so different than other guys who’ve tried hitting on you in the past. He was actually respectful, intelligent, and could easily carry a conversation without long, awkward pauses.
He was literally everything you’re looking for in a guy. But you’ll be seeing him for this week only then it’s bye bye forever. That revelation makes you a little upset, but you try pushing those thoughts in the back of your mind. It’s irrelevant and unnecessary to think about. Yet you can’t help but wonder about certain things though, wanting to know more about his job and what it’s like on a daily basis for him.
“Can I ask you something? I need you to answer it honestly.” You say out of nowhere, hoping that didn’t come out as weird as you thought.
Changbin nods, “of course, shoot.”
“How many clients do you usually get?”
This question definitely catches him off guard, he’s never really been asked this before and he’s debating on if he should as it might be a breach of privacy.
“I don’t think I can answer that, sorry.” He responds in the nicest way possible, but deep down he wants to know why you’d want to know how many other people he sees a day.
You were going to push him a bit more to try and get an answer but you decide to let it go and just enjoy the rest of the picnic. You didn’t want to bring the mood down with your odd questions and/or end up making him feel so uncomfortable that he won’t want to see you anymore. It was definitely something you shouldn’t have asked but you were curious to know anyway. Overall besides that small incident, you had another wonderful time with Changbin and couldn’t wait for tomorrow to come any faster.
Tumblr media
Changbin had a foolproof way of getting you to blush like a giddy high school teen whenever he texted you. He’d always refer to you as ‘pretty girl’ or ‘princess’ which gave you insane amount of butterflies. You loved how clingy he could get and would double text when you don’t reply fast enough, always needing constant attention from you which you never minded giving.
He texted you at around three in the afternoon, proposing his next plan for today’s date.
‘Let’s go out for drinks tonight, it’s all on me ;)’
You liked his message, replying that you’ll be there and put a series of hearts at the end. Speaking of hearts, yours is fluttering at high altitudes from the way you can’t stop thinking about your “boyfriend” Changbin. This has been better than anything you could’ve expected, you never want this week to come to an end. It’s only been three days but you’ve begun to grow feelings for him, they weren’t too strong just yet but they were most definitely there. You couldn’t let that halt you from having a good time tonight, you’ll have to accept it soon enough he’s not your actual boyfriend. He’s doing this because you paid him to, if it wasn’t for your money he wouldn’t be here right now.
‘This relationship is purely transactional’ you unfortunately keep reminding yourself of the reality you’re in. Psyching yourself out of this sudden somber mood that’s consuming you, distracting your pessimism by raiding your closet for some cute clothes to wear tonight’s date. After what seemed like hours of tearing your entire room apart, you decide to settle on this sparkly black mini tube dress, pairing it with a leather jacket and more platform shoes because you’re obsessed with feeling tall. Once it’s 7 PM you head out to the bar you’re seeing Changbin at, he was already waiting for you inside the place. Eyes instantly lighting up when he sees you coming towards him, just like he always does he motions for a hug, pulling you in tightly like he hasn’t seen you in years.
His hugs felt so cozy, like sitting in front of the fireplace on a crisp, snowy winter’s evening. You never wanted to escape the warmth of his arms, it was one of those forms of physical touch that felt so overly personal to you. The thought of him hugging someone the same way he hugs you slightly enrages something in your spirit but again, it isn’t your place to get genuinely upset over him doing his job. You’re not entitled to him exclusively, but you feel like if you keep this up feelings will only continue to develop. This wasn’t something you considered when going into this and now you feel like you’ve just made a huge mistake.
“You okay babe?” Changbin notices you acting a bit strange, choosing not to pursue it after telling him you’re fine. He knows something’s wrong but doesn’t want to mess up the flow of the date, instead he orders a drink for the both of you and switches on to a lighter subject. “Let’s go shopping tomorrow at that new centre that just opened last week. I need to buy some new AirPods, I accidentally lost one of them in a taxi..”
“Sure,” you nod at his suggestion, in desperate need of some new clothes anyway. “Sorry about your AirPods, that sucks!”
He takes a sip of his bubbly drink that’s now on the table, “Eh, it’s okay this is probably the fourth time this has happened so far.” This has pretty much become a regular occurrence for him by now.
As the date progresses, things continue getting better. You’re both laughing, engaging in much deeper conversation than ever before. You definitely had more than enough alcohol in your system by now, feeling congested and claustrophobic as more people came into the bar. Changbin takes note of your discomfort and asks if you want to get some fresh air outside, you wasted absolutely no time to agree.
While you two were outside continuing your chat about some wild conspiracy he read about online, Changbin’s attention was soon drawn to a different building nearby. Gazing up in confusion at his sudden outburst of excitement, you wonder where he could be leading you next.
“Noraebang!” He shouts loud enough anyone miles away could’ve heard that, he’s now grabbing your hand to frantically drag you along with him.
You were never one to carry a tune but Changbin was actually very good at karaoke and singing in general, he had such a lovely voice. You could seriously listen to him sing all night— which you basically did since you kept begging for an encore until it hit 4 am. That’s when you both decided to finally call it a night, you wanted to pay for the Uber since he’s paid for all the drinks and every other expenses for today. You felt bad because you were the one renting him to be your boyfriend yet he’s constantly shelling out money left and right. He still insisted on paying and ultimately won the whole debacle, making you swallow your pride and get into the Uber with him. Changbin’s definitely not just someone you’re going to forget about after this week is over. You dread the day this all comes to an end, wishing there was a way to relive these moments again and again.
Tumblr media
“I’m a little under the weather today, sorry I can’t make it Binnie.” Your voice is hoarse from coughing and unbearable throat pain. You’ve already consumed half a bag of cough drops, throat lozenges, and random cold medicine you’ve found in your cabinets.
He sounds mildly disappointed, but springs back up with a new proposal, “I can come over and bring some soup if you’d like!”
You appreciate his gesture but still refuse, you know he’s only saying all this because he has to, not because he wants to. “N-no you don’t have to, I’m sure you can go see other clients today. One less person to worry about right?”
The call went silent for a minute, he wasn’t quite sure how to respond to such a deprecating comment.
“I don’t want to see other clients, I want to see you ___.” He sighs, unwilling to give up so easily, “I’ll be at your place soon, m’kay?” He hangs up before you could even respond or say no again.
You had no choice but to wait for Changbin to show up now. Before you got sick, the last two dates you went on were debatably the best so far. You had gone out shopping together, accidentally wearing almost the same kind of outfit. Changbin was wearing a white graphic tee with blue baggy jeans and you wore something practically identical. The two of you looked like a real, official couple and people would stare as you walked hand in hand, it really did seem like the perfect relationship on the outside.
You got even closer when he came over the following day, resulting in you two cuddling while watching movies and baking cookies. He’s expressed that he’s never been to another client’s home before but it wasn’t “technically” against any rules. The more you kept hanging out together, the harder it was coming to terms with the fact you’re actually falling for Changbin. He made every experience with you more exciting than the last, which he did exactly that night. When the cookies were done you fed a piece to him, making little airplane sounds as you do it, he eagerly takes a bite of the chewy treat and compliments both your efforts.
“These taste way better than I thought, oh my god they literally melt in your mouth. Try it!” He takes another cookie from the tray and feeds it to you this time.
There was something so overly domestic about that moment you couldn’t shake the feelings of wanting to kiss him right then and there. But you can’t. If you did such a thing you’d never be allowed to see him again, plus you don’t want to be known as that one creepy client who just couldn’t keep their hands to themselves. As you were cuddling on the couch though, things may have taken a turn for the better… or worse?
Changbin would “yawn” at the movie and subtly wrap his arm around you, he’d subconsciously pull you in closer and it didn’t make it any better that you were under the same blanket. You weren’t complaining at any of this though, you were pretty much in heaven. It took everything in you not to look up and stare, gluing your eyes to the movie that was displayed on the TV. But as the night progressed you were practically snuggling up with him like he was your real boyfriend. The way he’d run his fingers gently down your back, soothing you in a way that could lull you asleep. His touch was the most relaxing thing ever, you were so calm with him and loved how he brought a side of you that’s never been shown. After this encounter you can no longer deny the way you feel— you are officially falling deeply in love your rental boyfriend, Seo Changbin.
The sound of your doorbell ringing alarms you of a new visitor, who was none other than your “boyfriend” waiting patiently outside the door for you. You feel and look like death itself, coming downstairs to answer the door still in your PJ’s and hair a disheveled mess. Every five seconds was interrupted with you coughing your lungs out, barely able to speak above a whisper. Changbin looks thrilled as ever to see you, even when you clearly don’t look your best he’s still coming up to hug you tightly. His hugs are always blocking off your airways from the way his muscles squeeze you, it’s even worse when you’re sick— practically gasping for air.
“Sorry babyy, I just missed you so much. I couldn’t stop thinking about you all day and soon as you said you’re sick I dropped everything to go make you this soup. It’s a specialty I make whenever my friends are sick, the perfect remedy to cure my princess.” He goes into your kitchen to heat up the soup in your microwave, making you wait patiently on the couch as you’re wrapped up in multiple blankets.
Your body feels like it’s -2 degrees, you were freezing. The crazy thing is your thermostat was set to 80 degrees, it was definitely you that was the problem. He propped your feet up on the table, rested a tray in your lap and set the bowl of soup on top. Brushing a couple strands of hair out your face he looks at you intently, examining your symptoms as if he’s a doctor.
“It’ll be okay soon love, I’m here to nurse you back to health again. Can’t see my pretty baby sick like this, makes me all sad.” He pouts, giving you a soft head pat like you’re a delicate kitten.
He takes a spoonful of the hot soup, slightly blowing on it before telling you to open up so you can eat. You don’t know what’s gotten into you but you feel like he’s gone too far with all this. It’s not fair for you to continue on if it’s just become torture now. He’s practically dangling in your face that you’ll never have a partner as perfect as him in your life.
“I- I can’t do this anymore Changbin..” you say lowly, refusing to eat the soup he made.
“What do you mean? I’m just feeding you soup, it’s my duty as your boyfriend to-”
“This isn’t real… none of it is. I’m stupid for even doing this but I was lonely.. I’m sorry but I’d prefer something that isn’t temporary.” You cut him off to express your pent up frustrations, ready to be let down and rejected by him as gently as possible.
“Then let’s make it real,” he proposes without any hesitation, “honestly I stopped faking it around our third date, it was all me after that. I never said anything because well… this is my job and I’ve never fallen for a client before so this is still all very new to me..”
You’d be screaming right now if you weren’t sick, instead you’re internally freaking out at this confession, it feels like your hearts doing cartwheels and somersaults.
“Seriously?” Eyes widening as you look at him, suddenly your body heat rises and you know it’s not because of the soup or the layers of blankets that’s covering you.
He nods, “I thought it was kinda obvious when we kissed yesterday..”
Oh yeah… you forgot that did happen. You thought it was another fever dream you might’ve just made up in your head. You shared your first kiss with someone you deemed so special and important to you, someone you never would’ve guessed could come into your life and shift the entirety of your world like magic. There was no one else in existence you wanted more than Changbin.
“Doesn’t that mean you’ll have to quit your job? I don’t want to be the reason you stop making such good income.. I’ll feel so bad.” You knew deep down you didn’t feel that badly about him quitting to date you instead. It was just the thought of him leaving something he’s been doing for years behind all for some girl he’s known for simply a week.
He shrugs at your comment, “I’ll be just fine, I was planning on finding a new job soon anyway. It gets kinda old after a while, I felt like I was on autopilot most of the time. You were able to get me to open up and show my true self, I could never thank you enough for that ___.” Changbin couldn’t resist the urge to plant a kiss to your forehead.
After everything that’s been said and done. What you’ve come to understand is that love is learned, a development that takes time to grow and blossom into something extraordinary. Just like learning a new language or a musical instrument, we learn love from society and cultures we’re raised in, it’s a beautiful thing once we know how to cherish it. Your newfound romance with Changbin is something you’ll learn to cherish forever and ever.
[End <3].

#PRETENDING TO BE YOUR BF!
SYNOPSIS: you're in a sticky situation and need somebody to help you get a creepy guy away from you. are they up to the challenge? OP CHARACTERS: ZORO & SANJI WARNINGS: nicknames?
Tumblr media
a creep had been following you around the town the strawhat crew had been visting, and nothing you said would keep him away. going into stores and diving into crowds, you hoped maybe you'd lose him, but he proved to be extremely stubborn. "like i said sir, i have a boyfriend!" you had told him for the hundreth time, but he didn't believe you. "c'mon, we both know you're lying, sweet thing. just give me a chance, yeah? i'll show you a nice time," he said, and you were just about to start yelling until you spotted--
Tumblr media
ZORO. he had no idea you were around, as he had gone into an antique shop not too long ago to find new sword sheaths. even with his back turned towards you, you decided he was your best shot. you made a bee-line for the shop and the guy followed closely behind.
"like i said, sir, i have a boyfriend," you said, gesturing towards zoro in hopes his stature would scare the creep off. however, the pirate didn't turn around, engrossed by the sheaths and other looms in the shop.
the stranger frowned at you, clearly not believing your lie. it hurt you to have to rely on zoro, as he wasn't the brightest in times like these, but it was all or nothing.
"zoro!" you exclaimed, and he turned immediately at your voice, taking in your desperate look. "you said you would catch up with me, i've been waiting for you."
he was unsure how to respond, gulping as you latched onto his arm, and he almost expressed his concerns, but he was beat to it by the stranger.
"this is your boyfriend?" the guy asked, still a bit skeptical but intimidated nonetheless.
the pirate looked the villager up and down, trying to figure out how to react appropriately to this. no matter how much he racked his brain, he couldn't find an answer. however, if you had been as bold as to claim zoro as yours, he trusted you had a reason to do so.
"and who are you?" your --pretend-- boyfriend asked, guarding you with an arm as you stepped behind him, away from the stranger's much-too-curious eyes.
before the creep could answer, you decided to torment him just a bit, "i dunno, he's been following me for hours now. i was scared."
zoro's gaze hardened at that, the grip he held on his swords tightening, "is that so?"
"no! no, i'm sorry, man. i didn't know- listen, i'll leave, alright?" and as soon as the words came out of the villager's mouth, he was gone.
"sorry, zoro. he scared the shit out of me, i thought maybe i'd find sanji in the crowds somewhere to help me, but there's so many blonde people here, you have no idea."
he nodded slowly, very aware of your arms wrapped around his and your slightly trembling fingers. he took a deep breath before turning back around to sort through all the trinkets he'd found.
"it's not your fault. but, maybe we should travel in pairs from now on. i don't want another idiot bothering you until you're practically shaking."
"i am not shaking," you said, to which he sighed, gathering his items and leaving a few coins on the counter. you continued, "but you're pretty scary, y'know?"
"i would hope so, in situations like these," he gave you a lopsided grin, "but seriously, we should just travel together. i don't mind playing pretend for you."
Tumblr media
SANJI. he was busying himself at a food market, bargaining with the poor vendor for a discount. he turned around before you even called him, having a sixth sense for your presence. he smiled widely at you, calling your name loudly.
"sanji, my darling," you cringed at your own voice, the sickly sweet nickname dropping hesitantly from your tongue, "i missed you."
the cook didn't miss a beat, "i missed you much more! what do you think, gorgeous? broccoli or cauliflower?"
"uh, both?" you said, still spotting the man now on the opposite side of the street, watching intently.
your blonde "boyfriend" nodded, turning his attention to the vendor he had previously been arguing with, "perfect, i'll get both, ma'am!"
you saw the stranger slowly come closer towards you, and you decided to take action by hugging sanji tightly.
he complimented you instantly on the perfume you were wearing, and he kept talking but your attention was fully on getting away from the stranger.
"sanji?" you whispered, suddenly interrupting what was probably a declaration of love, but it wasn't like that was a rare ocassion anyway.
"yes? i hate to ruin the moment but you're not usually this affectionate, not that i mind, i mean--"
keeping your position in his arms, you reached up to whisper in his ear, lips brushing his cheek from the proximity, "there's a guy that's been following me and i need your help."
he ignored the brush of your lips, an action he surely would've fainted for in any other circumstance. his energy shifted from a playful one to something much more urgent, "are you alright?"
you smiled at him, an assurance that you were fine, just freaked out. you moved away from him, opting to stand at his side and hold his arm.
"can you see him?" sanji asked, paying the lady for the vegetables he purchased and grabbing a hold of the bags you carried.
"yes, behind us, the guy in the blue shirt," you discretely pointed him out, sanji followed your gaze and he let out a laugh.
"him? he thinks he has a chance... with you? how sad. want me to go talk to him?"
you held sanji's gaze, considering his offer, but ultimately deciding against it. if it broke out into a street fight, you'd bring attention to the strawhats, and then you'd probably be reported to the marines.
"no, could you just..." you hesitated, focusing on the cigarette in between sanji's lips to distract yourself from the creep's stare, "pretend you're madly in love with me, or something?"
the cook took the cigarette from his mouth and dropped it to the ground, putting it out so you wouldn't be bothered by the smell of smoke, "you're making it too easy for me. guess my acting skills won't be needed this time, hm?"

Buy Some Flowers for You
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
harry styles x female reader
summary: harry’s always looking for an excuse to buy some flowers for his girl
warnings: none very fluffy
a/n: here’s a little shorty, i’m working on a short charles fic too don’t worry but i’ve been missing writing for harry<3
Harry was always thoughtful no matter what he did, whether it was for your birthday or an anniversary, even just a normal day like today. The sun was out for once in London, it was a warmer day thankfully after a cold and miserable winter.
One thing that often came with spring was Tulips and flower markets, which leads us to right now as Harry had stopped to gather a beautiful bouquet for you. No reason other than he wanted too and because he loved you so much.
You’d always loved flowers, and had a fresh bouquet every week courtesy of your ever so loving boyfriend or if you managed to sneak some past him, which was very rare.
He took his flower picking job seriously.
“Lovie?” he called out through the flat when he got home, the smell of dinner wafting through the front hallway
“In the kitchen!”
He smiled hearing you call back, kicking his shoes off by the door he then made his way towards you. As soon as you came into view he could feel his heart swell, an apron tied around you as you worked on yet another new recipe.
“Hi baby-oh! H you got me flowers…?”
Your eyes softened as you walked toward him, wiping your hands off on the apron before taking the bouquet from him and leaning forward to kiss his lips.
“Thank you so much baby..”
“You’re welcome”
Admiring them with a smile still on your face you quickly placed them in a vase with fresh water, placing them on the centre of the island.
“Perfect!”
“Just like you..” Harry said softly, which earned him another kiss and a hug, enjoying every moment of getting to be cozied up with you.
Harry always had a way with words, but he definitely had a way with flowers too.

Tumblr media
Request: could you write a sanji x reader fic of them alone in reader's room? they always end up getting interrupted by someone just as they get close to kissing, and its torture for sanji because they just cant find a moment alone with each other, so he finally finds a way to be with her late one night where he can kiss her senseless uninterrupted. thank you!
First I just wanted to say, thank you so much everyone for your support as I recovered from my operation! I'm so happy to be here and writing again!
Okay but this is both super sweet and hilarious, I hope you don't mind I spread this out over the deck a bit, and changed it around a little bit for more fun ;)
Warning: slightly spicy, so 18+ please!

Try One: Nami
At try one, Sanji was four seconds away from ripping his hair out.
Poor, Sanji: the sweet cook had spent all of dinner service with his hands clenched tightly in his fringe, fistfuls of hair nearly tugged out and scattered among the Matcha Tiramisu he had spent a lonely, and tired morning dragging himself away from your warm embrace to make specially for you. Toiling, rolling, dusting cream and cocoa that he had spent the last handful of his berries trading for from the speciality trader in the markets of the Canopi Islands; he had squinted underneath the honey melt of the sun as it fell from its crest over the horizon as he whisked and whizzed and splattered dessert up to his elbows in his desperation to make sure the sweet treat would be ready before Luffy caught the scent of it.
Finding it too tempting not to toy with the cook, you tried to stifle your smirk as you nonchalantly placed a fist under your chin and feigned interest in whatever Nami was animatedly trying to chew over with you. Flitting your irises over until you made direct eye contact, you dragged the flat edge of your tongue up the back of the spoon, making sure to wet the edge of your thumb along the way.
At any other time, Sanji may have been beside himself with embarrassment. It wasn't the first time a member of the crew had teased him... or snarled at him... or chided him for his obvious endearment, but the sound of Nami's voice was drowned out by the pulsing rush of blood that flooded through your boyfriend's ears. His full concentration was centred solely on the way your teeth scraped over your fork: the content hum as you licked over your fingers like a serpent and nearly sent Sanji clambering onto the floor to beg for the ecstasy of your sin.
You had tried not to chortle, you really had: hiding your face behind the ledger Nami was leaning over the table to shove into your face, her accusing pointer finger jabbing at a new entry she had triple underlined in her familiarly baleful black strokes. She hadn't even noticed that Sanji was nearly crumpled on the floor, bowl lying abandoned by the sink as his love-struck eyes struggled to stay within his skull.
'3000 berries?! Seriously?', she shot a growingly outraged frown in your direction, clattering her fork onto the table so she could use her free hand to point accusingly towards a recovering Sanji, whose fingernails were almost shedding wood shards off the cabinet drawer as he tried to pull himself back up to a presentable looking stand. 'You let curly brows over there spend three thousand of our berries on a pair of new pyjamas for you?'
You shrugged hesitantly, crossing your legs under the table. Your skirt began to rise up, bunching towards your hip as you crossed your ankles. You shot a lingering glance out of the corner of your eye towards Sanji, hoping with all your might that he'd be too bashful to meet your eye. Instead, as Nami cried out in outrage, Sanji's gleeful eyes locked onto yours, and the poor man was forced to grab the wooden edge of his spoon out of the sink and bite into it with his teeth to stop himself from squealing right there and then in the kitchen.
Nami incredulously trailed her eyes between the two of you, a long-simmering jaded scowl tempering over her face. Finally noticing how Sanji was loosening his shirt collar and using a freshly washed baking tray to fan the heat rolling in volcanic waves off his body.
The cat burglar pushed her tongue against her cheek and inhaled sharply as she turned her attention back to you. 'How is that even possible?! Luffy's meat budget for the month costs less than that!'
'They're special, my dear Nami!', Sanji finally managed to pipe in, his voice sounding strangled as he plopped the tray back down next to his damp tea towel. He turned towards the two of you with a pained smile plastered on his sickly looking face.
'They're made of Agar-Agar flakes, and of course, only the finest dehydrated avocados in all of the East Blue for the finest gem in all of the seas.' Sanji cocked his head and winked at you mischievously. 'It was worth every berry for my delectable little sweet pea.'
Nami made a gagging noise into her orange juice, but Sanji just bit his bottom lip and came sauntering over to stand by your side.
Sanji's breath drew in sharply as you absentmindedly began to brush your pointer finger up and up: first tickling over the arm that came winding around your shoulder, before leaning back to trace the edge of his jaw line, your eyes drawn away from Nami's waving hands to gawk up at the unbuttoned gap between his shirt where his Adam's apple lay tautly.
Nami was about to throw her muffin at your head when she suddenly started, bolting straight upright. Leaning forward on her elbows, she squinted her eyes suspiciously at the way you were nearly falling off the dining table's bench to lean back and caress your boyfriend's face.
'Hold on... what do you mean Agar Agar? How can they be made of food...'
'Well', you snorted, trying to hide your face by pulling one of Sanji's heavy arms up and draping his heavy bicep in front of your crinkling eyes. 'They are edible-'.
'Melt in the mouth, in fact', Sanji chimed in audaciously, bending his spine over so he could press a few butterfly kisses over the top of your scalp.
Nami nearly shoved the table straight into your stomach in her desperation to clamber up and escape the two of you. 'Nope. Nope! Absolutely not. The two of you get out of here now, before I start pitching water over your heads.'
Try Two: Usopp
At try two, Sanji was three seconds away from kicking the door of its hinges in annoyance.
It had taken nearly all night for the two of you to get even these few seconds of isolation together, and yet Sanji still felt so woefully unprepared. His fingers stumbled as he clumsily tried his best to ignore how his pounding heart was almost playing leap-frog with his ribs; the tautening of his abdomen as he tried to pull his under-shirt over his head left exultant lacerations against his muscles. He had to work up the courage to turn and kiss you now, or he was going to keel over and pass out on the floor from his heart's anguish: brought to his knees by the one thing he could never escape: his soul’s serendipity.
Thankfully, you did the hard part for him.
He flushed at the sound of your feet pattering off your bed to echo through the shimmering walls towards him; he throat bobbed at the feel of your hand delicately winding round to finger at the Windsor knot choking his neck. He nearly cried out when you pressed your body flush against his back.
'My buttercup, if you keep pulling at that tie like that you'll have conked out before I've even got you to the bed.'
You could feel the desperation radiate off Sanji as he tilted his head back to try and watch you. Despite how tired he seemed, his dipping eyelashes roved almost hungrily over every aspect of you he could see, his hand coming up to slide over yours until you were bowered and anchored together in the storm.
'Well my honeyed heart', he almost made your breath hitch as he walked the two of you backwards, stopping only once the heavy weight of your bed swung against your knee pit. 'I suppose I'll just have to bring the bed to us.'
With a grunt that sounded suspiciously close to a puppy's whine, Sanji snapped you up within his arms and lifts you up to sit on the chained platform. Once you had regained your balance, you beckoned your pointer finger towards Sanji, and he nearly tripped over his own feet as he came stumbling towards you, dragged forwards as if yanked by an invisible leash tied around his ankles.
'God, I missed you today', your boyfriend muttered, grabbing onto your shirt and nearly crawling into your skin like a man possessed. As your head hit the linen lining of the swing, the man did his best not to collapse his full weight onto you when he came crushing down on top of your abdomen: the only thing holding him up being the point of his elbows that pin your arms in place, and the jut of his knees as they 'accidentally' fall between yours and slide them further... and further open. 'If Luffy has me make cook up one more medium-rare steak for him I'm going to throw myself headfirst into the ocean.'
You snorted, burrowing your nose into the soft mound of flesh underneath his earlobe. He shivered when you teasingly pursed your lips and blew against the shell, before latching on with your teeth and nipping at the squishy skin. 'If you do, don't worry. I'll make sure to fish you out with a frog net.'
'Frog net? Frog net!' Sanji slowly lowered his body to rest his forehead against the curve of skin just above your breasts, trying to stifle his smile. 'Oh, my wounded heart! I hope you're only saying that because you're going to give me a kiss.'
'Actually, it's because you're so slimy', you teased, poking your finger into his hip. His groan echoed into your bone as he pulled your waist tighter against him.
The starved man exhaled, his arms tightening around your waist; he was hiding himself away in your safety, trying to burrow himself underneath your skin like an ensnared goldcrest flying fruitlessly, dangerously, with harrowing hope for the propitious freedom wrought only by the sun.
Sanji made an incomprehensible gargle that sounded something vaguely along the lines of: 'Eye wansh kisch ewe so mphly.'
'What was that, buttercup?'
'I want to kiss you so badly', Sanji whimpered, his warm tears soaking through to your shoulders.
He was so soft. God always so soft, and as he lay before you now, you could almost imagine how sweet he must have been before his father cruelly tried to stifle it with cruel mockery and torturous punishments. So soft, so calm, so comforting, as he peered up at you with those wonderous eyes; his attention was always drawn back to you: so trusting, no matter what you said or did. Always. Just looking at you with this almost timeless intensity. As if it’s the most natural thing in the world, to want to spend his whole life caught in the light of the most translunary being he’s ever met.
You stroked your palm through the tangling strands of hair by the nape of his neck, letting your voice fall to a whisper in order not to startle Sanji any further. 'Well, you are my sweet prince after all. You can kiss me whenever you want.'
The cook's reply was muffled by a swift knock against the doorframe.
'Hey, is everything okay? I'm hearing some weird noises coming from in here... are you guys in trouble? I know those Marines on Karushi Island were pretty annoyed when Y/n tossed them backwards over their butts-'
His perturbed question was met only by a deafening groan, followed by the pillow Sanji picked up and flung hitting the porthole window with a crashing PLASH.
Usopp flinched back, instinctively reaching towards his belt to run his fingers over the solid oak of his slingshot. 'Okay, be brave. Be brave, Captain Usopp. Your friends may be in danger! They may-'. Usopp's words quickly died on his tongue when he cautiously tip-toed open the door to the boy's quarters. In fact, his tongue nearly rolled out of his jaw as his lips slackened, blubbering like a pufferfish at the sight of Sanji almost draped across you. A half-naked Sanji.
He clapped his hands over his eyes, and nearly tossed himself over the edge of the ship with how rapidly his legs were wheeling themselves backwards. 'I'm so sorry you guys! I didn't know you were- well you were, you know- boinking in ther-.'
SLAM.
The swift silence that settled over the room should have been reassuring. Should have been. If only it hadn't been followed by the confused wails from the sharpshooter as he lolled out flat against the floor: the tip of his bandana scraping underneath the toe of Sanji's shoe where it was splayed out over the edge of the bed.
Sanji just sighed like a weary father, taking one hand off your cheek to slap it over his eyes with a curt shake.
'You snuggle up here and stay warm, sweetheart. I'll go get Chopper.'
Try Three: Luffy
At try three, Sanji was busy spending his spare two seconds trying to work up the nerve to just... leap across the room to where you were standing and kiss you silly.
'Okay', Sanji folded himself against the door and started counting distractedly on his fingers. 'I've given the Captain three plates of meat, so that should distract him for a little while: I've also hidden cookies along the deck, and stuffed a few mint infused lamb shanks in the Crow's Nest. Hopefully he'll go and bother moss head for a bit instead of annoying-'
A ringing crash made the two of you wince as your poor bedroom door got another battering; this time, the handle nearly cleft a hole clean in the wall as Luffy's leg came barging sandal first into the room.
He couldn't sleep... so your Captain had the fortuitous idea of seeking out the next best thing: hugs from you.
'Y/n, there you are! I ran out of meat, I need you to rub my tummy so I can nap! I tried asking Zoro, but he kicked me off the Crow's Nest!'
Before you could even open your mouth to protest, Luffy's stretchy arms have latched onto the edges of the door and he's flung himself into the room like a Hawaiian clad cannonball. Sadly, one that had been directly configured to launch into you: headfirst, nonetheless.
'Damn it Luffy - nO!'
A look of pure terror widened your eyes as you were skidded butt-first across the floor by a mop of curly black hair and a Cheshire grinning face. A crushing weight piled onto the side of your face, and despite how much Sanji curses and tries to detach Luffy's arm from your waist, your Captain's smushed face doesn't even lift an inch off your cheek.
'Oh, Sanji! You're here too! Even better!'
Then koala mode is activated, and Luffy's legs and arms come wrapping around you... and poor Sanji's like a cocoon. The helpless cook goes flying through the air like a contorted puppet blasted out of a wonky cannon.
Oblivious as always, your Captain settled down between the two of you for his pre-sleep nap, effectively trapping pining you and a love-struck Sanji a foot away from each other. Within a blink of an eye Luffy's head lolled onto your shoulder, and you frowned as you tried to shuffle away from the thin lines of drool that dripped out of his snoring mouth. As if he could sense you moving, Luffy's arms tightened like a vice around your waist, winding another few extra times around for good measure.
After a few minutes of wriggling, some muted swearing, and a lot of shoving the toe of his boot into the side of an unaware Luffy's shin, Sanji finally managed to wrangle his hand to snake around the rubber man's bellybutton so he could link his pinkie finger with yours.
Trying your best not to to block your nostril, you shuffled your cheek to the side until you could meet your boyfriend's sorrowful eye.
Despite your circumstance, all you did was smile.
God- that smile: bright enough to alight the dusk. As piercing and ruinous as pure golden sunlight. As devastating as the fresh warmth of a salt wind borne onto the stifling heat of a forgotten crag. And it makes everything in his life up to this moment worth something. Worth it all.
All the tortures in the world would be worth it to just link pinkies with you.
Try Four: Zoro
At try four, Sanji was one second away from hoisting his crewmates over his shoulder and flinging them overboard one by one.
There was something incredibly unsexy about banging your head against a pair of Zoro's sweaty hand weights, but as Sanji pounded you to the ground, neither of you seemed to be able to muster the nerve to care.
'Sanji', you moaned almost lewdly, tugging his back and silently willing him down to cage your body against the coarse, sweaty mat. 'More. Please. More.'
His cheeks burned an almost violent carmine, but he refused to break contact; only for one sole second did his skin leave yours, when he couldn't contain the gut-wrenching want within himself anymore and dared to brush the plush top of his lip against the side of your nose.
'I- I want-'
You pressed your cheeks firmly against his, willing Sanji to believe every sweet word that you couldn't stop from gushing out of your mouth.
You stopped, panting for breath. 'Tell me sweetie - tell me what you want. Let me hear you say it.'
His body squeezed around yours, the so usually syrupy sweet cook clenching his fingers into the meat of your spine like a savage animal shaken loose from its wrought iron chains: like an unbottled tempest with nowhere left to rage except over the bearing flames.
'Please! Please - hngg, I can't, I can't. I need you. I can't hold myself back any longer.' His words sounded so painful it sent a jolt of worry through your heart.
And yet when he pressed his nose flatly against your own, so forcefully crushing his own skin against your own it nearly left you gasping for breath, there was still such a sweetness in it. Despite it all, despite how strenuously Sanji was trying to hold back that final band of constraint from snapping, his first and foremost priority would always be your wellbeing.
'I'm sorry- I'm sorry my chérie, but I need to feel you more than I need air.'
The gasping, open mouth kiss he gave you was only repeated: crashing down again and again against your own, tongue slashing with ravenous hunger over your bottom lip and clumsily leaving wet stripes of warm saliva against your cheek as Sanji devoured you. The meek, almost pitiful whimpers as he ducked his head into the curve of your shoulder blade as he grinded himself against you, effectively trapping you between the ground and the clench of his quivering thighs marked the interludes of his feast. His lips trembled as he sighed blissfully, holding the tide back as his free hand sweetly ran its knuckles up the side of your leg, stopping only when his thumb was pressed closely enough to your inseam that he could run miniature circles underneath the growing wetness of your pants.
At the sound of your shaking moan, his front teeth dug in so tightly to his bottom lip that he drew blood.
It scared you. You wanted him to do it again.
'Sanji, I said more.'
The claw of his hand as he swiped at your shirt, not caring that he almost sent a tower of Zoro's sweaty old shirts flying in his own desperation to tug yours off was his only reply. The almost achingly gentle restrain as he placed his right hand against your hip and tried to hold you in place: tried to warn you that if he started, he wasn't sure if all his pent-up yearning would allow him to stop. The sweat nearly dripped across his furrowed eyes, caking the wispy strands of his fringe against his bucking forehead as he willed himself to calm down. His eyes stung, but despite your desperate clawing up towards his shoulders, he forced his breathing to settle.
But by all the seas... as he peeked one eyelid open and saw the line of tantalising skin grow wider down your rising breast, all semblance of self-restraint fled from the near drooling cook's brain.
The feel of Sanji's lips dragging down your neck to nip at your pulse point was interrupted by the sound of a quiet c-r-a-c-k.
You peeked your head, too far gone to swim fully out of your daze. With your arms still wrapped firmly around the wide expanse of Sanji's contracting back, you jutted your chin into the constellation line of freckles by his left shoulder blade. 'Did you hear something?'
'Just the sound of this', he smiled, smoothing his hand off your hip and sliding it underneath your buttocks. He gave you a firm squeeze that left your mouth dropping open in a shocked pant as he lifted you further up against his abdomen and pressed your breasts firmly against his pecs: he was effectively cupping you up against him like a clingy, very drenched, koala bear.
This time though, the sound of something splintering was far too egregious to ignore.
The force of the door handle slamming into the wall of the Crow's Nest nearly made the whole ship shake in revulsion; the cool air against your skin was nearly too much to bear, but the raging heat that sparked out from the looming shadow enveloping the door was enough to make your whole body break out in goose bumps.
'Can you two stop making out around the ship for two seconds.'
Sanji growled, whipping his head round to sulk at the ship's swordsman.
'Can you mind your own business for even one, Marimo?'
The former bounty hunter ostentatiously held a finger up by slowly raising it into air, and it took you a second to realise he’s pointedly showing Sanji his middle finger.
'Zoro, did you- did you just break the lock?'
'What's your problem? I left my gym towel in here.'

Your partner as of late called it quits with you. Kate was concerned, insisting to check up on you. With the warmth she always had provided, you can't help but think of other ways she can comfort you.

“I think it’s for the best if we break up.”
Was what your partner said while hesitant to meet your eyes. It snapped you back into consciousness that your gaze on them fluttered rapidly in wonder. Yes, undeniably, there was a hint of sadness that hit you. After all, you dated them for half a year, it was… stable. No, rather it was stagnant, so you supposed this was bound to happen.
However, with your silence and clenched fist, your now ex-partner mistook it as deep despair.
They carefully placed their hand atop yours across the table. “I’m sorry–”
“You don’t have to be,” You cut them off, sighing in resignation. The acceptance somewhat came in quickly to your surprise. “I do not want to weigh you down at all, especially when it comes to your happiness. I-I… truly understand where you’re coming from.”
A faint smile appears on their face. You return the expression, wanting to ease the tension. You wanted a civil conversation where they could easily say the thoughts that they might have been withholding. You had your own as well. From there, the two of you discuss what went wrong – you simply drifted away from each other, inevitably with the long distance as another obstacle. The infatuation stage didn’t last – your relationship was too casual for someone who should be lovers.
As the conversation ran, the air felt lighter. You didn’t realize how much you missed them but this further confirmed that you and now current ex, worked better as friends. The notion of breakup was mutual and amicable between you two and turned out better than you both hoped for.
What caught you off-guard as you parted ways, was how your ex mentioned a certain friend of yours.
“Say hi to Kate for me! That girl is always on your rescue.” They gleefully say with a pat on your back and a knowing smile.
You froze for a moment at the sudden mention of the Avenger but managed to form a cohesive reply. “Sure. I’ll make sure she doesn’t send pitchforks or arrows on your way.”
“That’s very much appreciated!”
The two of you ended up giggling as you waved goodbye and a part of you remained stunned. Your heart was pounding, as though a dormant thought had come back to life.
It has been a week since you were available on the market again and you received mixed responses. You wanted to laugh, at how some disapproved and agreed that you and your ex were simply different. When you rebutted that technically, opposites attract, your close ones were quick to say: totally inapplicable to this case!
Your family knew how you’ve grown close to Kate; and seriously, they kept mentioning the woman! You lost count of how many times you’ve become flustered each time they lumped you and shrugged the thought that maybe you two had a great chemistry together. But in all seriousness, things were easy with Kate – the archer somewhat managed to juggle you in her time, between Avenging and college, your dynamic was far from you and your ex. All it took was the fateful encounter you guys had at a hardware store you part-timed in, attending to her questions, and Kate charming you with her clumsy rambling self.
Why do you keep comparing her now with your ex? Screw these insinuations, now you cannot stop thinking about the other possibilities.
And speaking of the devil, the archer finally had her well-deserved free time. Said through the phone that the aliens and gods can handle the potential storm for a while, to which you were surprised to hear, knowing that she took Avenging duties seriously close to her heart. Unbeknownst to you, all it took from Kate was your break-up news and it immediately filled her with concern. She was far too occupied even if it was only a few days, setting aside her feelings for you, Kate wondered how you were holding up.
“Get in sweetcakes.” Kate hollered from her rolled-up car window as you waited in front of the hardware store. Your shift just ended. You shook your head at how corny it was, although it was endearing enough to make your insides fuzzy.
“Not if you call me that one more time.”
It only occurred to you that it was a bad idea as soon as you saw the glint of mischief in Kate’s eyes, hands on the side of her mouth, ready to scream.
“Sweetcakes! Sweetcakes, Sweet–”
“Stop embarrassing me, Jesus.” You get inside her car, rubbing your palms together to warm you down. Kate chuckled at your feigned display of annoyance. It was certainly her favorite pastime.
The drizzle had stopped. The familiar afternoon glow wasn’t there, instead replaced with grey skies, giving a gloomy ambiance in the chilly weather. Yet, it barely affected the natural state of Kate’s aura – her bright disposition and smile giving you warmth.
Blood rushed on your cheeks and ears as you realize you’ve been taking quick peeks to your friend’s side profile.
Kate cleared her throat, “Actually, I prefer to be called Kate.” You give her another displeased look. “Fine, I relent. So are we going to talk about it now?” Kate shook her head sideways, urging you to elaborate. She leaned comfortably on the driver’s seat, prepared for a long story time before you guys hit off the parking lot. You were casual – too casual – as though this was another Monday for you.
Break-ups aren’t normally this way, right?
“What was what? Can’t I get a hi first?”
“Hi.” Kate says unamused. “Now, I was worried the whole time. I know we’ve talked on the phone but I’m not fully convinced ‘til I hear from you.”
“Aw, so you were thinking of me?” You tease Kate who’s cheeks flamed up yet you did not notice as she pushed you off playfully.
She groaned. “Come on. I’m sure break-ups are commonly followed by crying and drinking afterward. Not… this!” Kate gestures at you, hands flailing at your almost poker face. “Or have you recovered already? Because that’s either an impressive world record or a bunch of bullshit to me.”
You chuckle at the unending questions being thrown at each other. Now you figured out how you sounded odd.
For the sake of her inner peace, you decide to let it out. “Look, Kate, it was meant to end at some point for us. I mean, when was the last time I hung out with them? I don’t see them a lot, we don’t feel the spark anymore. I’m almost always hanging out with you. There isn’t any bad blood. I guess we just fell out – not compatible anymore.”
“Seriously?”
“Seriously.” You look at her straight to her ocean eyes that you love. Wait, what? “I don’t… I don’t think I’m missing out on the relationship department because, in the first place, I haven’t been getting any action.”
Kate awkwardly chuckled at your words, tugging on the collar of her shirt.
“Uh, that I cannot fix. I’m sorry?”
You laugh at the archer’s response. Taking a good look over Kate’s outfit, you see that she’s particularly dressed up today – indicating that she had business to attend over her family’s company. She wore a black suit patterned with an embroidered burnt orange design. She was a treat in your eyes.
Were you shamelessly checking her out?
Yes, very much so.
Kate, however, wasn’t as clueless as you thought. She lets you and plans on teasing you about it. Even if it was out of curiosity or an innocent admiration, the archer wouldn’t tell you – at least for a couple more hundred years – how she loved being the subject of your attention. It didn’t help that your being single again had spurred her mind on the gutters and honestly made you more desirable at the moment. However, Kate refused to delve into them right now – out of respect as your friend first.
"Would you be interested in hooking up with me?” You sultry uttered.
The air within the car felt thick and a pin drop could almost be heard. You shook your head in disappointment to yourself – God, of course, this wasn’t very proper of you to ambush Kate like that. Her silence was very telling. You caught the archer real good, flabbergasted, and can barely formulate a proper word out of her pretty mouth. Nodding at this, you understood that it was too much – forward and probably disrespectful.
You start buckling your seatbelt.
“No, no I get it. Don’t worry, Kate. Let’s just get out of here and–”
Kate was quick to shake her head in disagreement, "No baby, you don’t understand,” The archer’s voice sounded desperate. She did not even realize how the endearment smoothly left her lips. “You're all I wanted! But that doesn't matter right now, you just got out of a relationship–"
“–I told you it wasn’t built to last. I guess it’s a talent of mine, I can’t keep things to stay.” You say out of attempted humor, although your mind had flipped into a different perspective now, the thought was very unsettling.
Can’t you?
"It’s normal! Nothing goes perfect on the first few tries,” Kate sputtered out, desperate to provide an ounce of solace. “Just like with cooking, we burn stuff, end up ordering takeout. Or- or me with my things. You know how many times my messy self can misplace a lot of things.” Especially my hoodies. I swear they keep disappearing on me, the thought suddenly coming into light to Kate. Whatever, she hoped that in a way, she managed to lighten up the conversation.
One thing about Kate is that her rambling and playful nature combined somewhat grows into this charismatic mess. A giggle almost erupts out of you but clearly, there is another time and place for that.
“Well, you do keep losing your keys.”
“Exactly.”
“And you’re notorious for parading around while wearing The Ronin’s suit and coming back to your apartment.”
“Ouch. Not my brightest moment I’ll admit. But at least you’re getting my point!”
Finally registering her words, you rolled your eyes now good-heartedly to Kate’s relief. "And if you’re wondering about your hoodies, no they are not lost. I may or may not have some of them.” You admit your crime and Kate comically jutted her head closer to you in shock. It’s like you read her mind. “Not bad for a pep talk, Bishop. But I guess we’re not fucking, are we?”
Now the last sentence had Kate gripping her seat, not expecting your unfiltered spew of words. Would it be bad if she were to admit that her cock twitched at the thought of having you?
But your comfort comes first. She worried that a speck of insecurity could have been plaguing you, wanting to ease that more than ever. While you peered at the window seat, the archer exhaled, scooting to your side – at least the most she could, anyway.
"Give me your hand." Kate's elbow rested in the middle of the car compartment, where her jug is confined, her palm extended for an invitation for you to hold. "Come on, you big baby.”
You take the chance, petulantly placing yours atop hers.
"What now, gonna take the rejection easy on me?" You raise an eyebrow, looking away from her. "Or is it another one of your pranks? Kate, I'm telling you I can take rejections like a big girl despite your disagreement. It was a dumb proposition. Just forget it." You try to act unphased but the grumble gives you out. The feeling slowly sinks you further into humiliation.
Why would you ask your good friend for a good time?
Kate feels the laughter begging to erupt out of her chest. Still, she doesn't, knowing that you might take it the wrong way. God, you were so adorable. "You're not getting it, always so stubborn."
You feel her squeezing your hand.
"Yada, yada. Just drive, Kate."
Kate's hands remained interlaced with yours even with your curt reply. Eyes curious over you. Even with your mind far away, they have always been so expressive and raw which makes it tenfold difficult to look directly – all tender and equally needy as you, only if you took the chance and looked.
She admits timidly, "I want to. You have no idea how long I've waited for this moment just to kiss you. But I cannot afford to be your second choice, just because it is convenient. I don't want it to be a casual thing!" Her voice bounced off a pitch-higher.
You bit your lip in contemplation. Kate doesn't take her eyes on you nor disrupt the short comfortable silence that lingered. Her hands come to thread through your tresses, admiring you out in the open now.
How could you not have seen it earlier?
It would have saved you a lot more time. One that couldn't have gone to waste. Kate has always been worth your while. Meanwhile, the said woman was stunned. Kate's throat was almost caught in a lump, in disbelief that she got to pour an ounce of her confession. She can't help but rub your sides soothingly – in hopes of calming your turbulent mind.
You unexpectedly move away from your seat, determined to plop yourself on Kate's lap. You swung your legs atop her and a tremendous surprise struck the archer; she could not grasp the uncharted territory being crossed.
Having you so intimately? Kate was going to combust.
"Huh. It's a good thing that I specifically don't intend it to be a one-time thing." You place your forefinger on Kate's plush lips. "No, I don't expect this to be a casual thing either. I'm sorry if I didn't see the signs earlier..."
Her ocean eyes had a glint of hope, her heart thrumming madly at the next words that would leave your lips. "So you're saying...?"
"Take what's yours, Bishop." You moved closer, arms dangled between her headrest. You comb through her jet black hair, her attention hopelessly hooked onto you. Inching further to her ear, you husk out, "Do me like you mean it."
She sharply inhaled.
“I’ll make it worth your time.”
You answer her with a tease, wiggling your hips forward so slightly, her ocean eyes melting at the motion.
She takes one last look to find traces of an ounce of possible regret and retreats from your offer, only to see the unadulterated need in the swirls of your darkening eyes.
Kate's grasp over your hips tightened mouth agape over your affirmation. Her cock was no longer flaccid, instead, it started to strain through her jeans. You feel her and your cunt throbs madly. She was clutching over the layers of your clothing, now eager to take them all off. All she ever craved was to worship you, for you to finally notice her – to take you as she means it – just as your green light urged her to do so.
Both your lips clashed, tilting on the opposite side, excited to get a taste of what both of you were missing out on. It was no longer as hesitant and awkward as the chaste kiss that you initiated a few minutes ago. You taste the faint traces of her favorite coffee that caused you to smile. The cramped space was overwhelmingly filled with tension and adrenaline; Kate rode along as you did and happily explored your mouth – her tongue swiping sensually along your lower lip and catching you in another bruising kiss again, to which you enthusiastically let out a guttural moan at.
"I’m so drunk on you right now..." Kate muttered, her voice dropping a few octaves. You ground harder in response, moving languidly against her as the kiss continued.
Her scent was alluring more than ever. You claw at the back of her neck, fingers tangled in her silky tresses. “Then, consider this definitely worth the hangover.” You moan sultrily in Kate’s open mouth - both of your sounds crashing.
Lips bruising and breathless at this point, Kate reluctantly pulled away to adjust her car seat. It was hilarious and endearing for you how she kept smiling between your kisses and the archer kept on chasing for your lips. Even with her numbing lips, she scattered open mouthed kisses all over your jaw and neck, your whole body set ablaze.
“No backing out now.” Kate returns the equally seductive tone, her vulnerability poorly hidden underneath her assertive act.
“Wouldn’t dream of it,”
“Good.”
You feel Kate clawing the fabric of your shirt underneath the bunched up jacket of yours. the way her nails dug desperately had made you buckle over her lap, bodies pressed more than ever, making the two of you moan.
"You feel so good against me," Kate murmured breathlessly. "I can't get enough of this." she confesses with much candor, eyes gleaming at you that it sends shivers down your spine.
You were plopped down on her lap, swollen lips, and you wanted nothing but her. Kate cannot express enough how her heart feels like it was going to burst out of her ribcage.
"Is that so?" The husk and rawness in her voice made your stomach flip, breaking out a small smile out of you. "I bet you regret it..." your hands that no longer cradled her jaw found their way instead to graze downwards underneath her fancy suit, nails digging on Kate's fine abdomen. "Regret how you said no to me earlier."
The firm muscles grow tense under your touch, making you smirk. you had the Bishop woman successfully loss at words. She only hummed, seemingly lost and busied herself through littering your jaw and neck with more kisses, her teeth inevitably scraping at your skin.
And Kate? She's more than willing to be under your hypnotizing spell.
Kate soon broke the barriers and went her way to claw on your bare skin. The obvious choice for you was to discard the jacket that was nothing more than an obstacle. You wanted to feel her, craving for so much more. Although, you find yourself smiling a little with how the archer was hesitant to break the kiss as the inevitable parting in the process came - Kate chasing your lips - both of you having red and swollen ones from a thirst induced by a dance.
You're riled up and so is Kate. more so, she's afraid to break the momentum. Afraid that you would snap out of this haze anytime, so she savors each second – the shared warmth, the charged tension that drives her crazy, and your lips heavenly against hers – better than she ever dreamed of.
When your hands begin to tug and unbuckle her belt, Kate looks at you with her ocean eyes skeptically.
"You wanna go all the way?" Kate rasps out and fuck, you have never heard of something more attractive than this. "I know you're- you might be still processing the break up. I don't wanna..."
"Kate, listen to me." Your eyes pierce against hers, hands tangled on strands of her disheveled jet black waves, gently tugging and making the archer groan low at the sensation. "Among all the things I mourned and doubted for today, this - us - is not one of them. So yes, I want this. I need you."
Kate took a deep sigh. "As long as you're-"
"-long is what I want, it’s underneath your pants, and you're keeping it away from me. Unless you're backing out now on me, Bishop."
Her perfect teeth clutched against her bottom lip as you've managed to unzip and free her cock out of her boxers. Your mouth agape in shock, heavens, she was big as you expected. How would it fit? You witnessed her member grow erect under your needy gaze. Kate has no other choice but to moan pathetically as you hold her cock.
"S-shit! Baby, be careful!" Kate hissed low, although her touch continued to relay the want coursing through her.
"Sorry," you sheepishly say and regardless, it dawns a stupid smile over Kate's features.
It's rough and slightly painful on Kate's end, making her turn red sporadically. You take pity and spit on her cock to lubricate it, the stroke and twists slow at first. The action made her lower stomach and appendage twitch, with her foreskin being tugged in your grasp, Kate uttered a string of soft moans, all putty in your hands quite literally.
Sue her, she's over the moon right now.
You bite your lip. "I can't take this anymore, I need you inside of me."
Your spontaneity and darkening gaze continues to make Kate's head spin. She loved being the subject of your desire. Fuck, it was the hottest thing she has witnessed yet.
"Do you now?" Kate chimed, having a palmful of your breasts through the shirt you're wearing. your eyes rolled back. "Unzip your jeans for me."
When you moved your body up, you failed to measure the distance between the roof of Kate's car and your head, making you bump your head in the process. you muttered a soft ow - heat settling on your cheeks. Kate's gaze however, did not waver, and it brought a pearly smile on her face as she found you endearing.
"Do I have to do it for you baby?" Kate murmured, her hands gripping over your waist.
You shook your head timidly. "No no, I can do it,"
"That's my girl." The archer scratched her nails light on your stomach, a moan inevitably escapes your mouth. You feel her thumb teasing underneath your bra.
It was the push you needed, then on it was almost smooth sailing as you deftly unbuttoned your jeans. Gravitating to Kate's touch, your own body was attuned and glided for more. Her blue eyes never left yours nor her ministrations that descend over your breast and waist faltered. Your heart pounded madly at such intensity.
Your playful ways shifted back, maneuvering through the limited space - it was a miracle for your slightly trembling hands. You were glistening enough to make Kate's throat grow dry.
As your eyes peer down, Kate's cock felt intimidating, with a girth and length that none of your previous experiences could rival. Not to mention her precum looked tempting.
All that is left is for you to lower down and so you let your impulsive thoughts win; plunge in.
Your face curled in the unexpected stretch. Maybe you shouldn't have done that.
"Oh god, oh god, oh god—slow down!" Kate whisper-yelled, her mind flitting between panic and pleasure, not knowing where to succumb first. "You should've warned me first! I don't even have a condom rolled up yet," Her grip over your hips reprimanding you as it was almost bruised; the archer tried to carry some of your weight, in hopes to alleviate the burning sensation.
"Sue me, did you really have to be so–" You groaned, one of your palms against the car window for support, eyes shut in semi-frustration. Kate is fucking huge and it was vivid how your cunt swallows her in. "It looked nice and ready, can you blame me?"
The breathy heaving both of your breaths barely ceased. Fully settled in Kate's lap and your cunt insanely and sync pulsating with her cock inside of you, she gave you an unamused look. She gave your breasts a firm squeeze, kneading the supple flesh and tugging on your nipples particularly hard – enjoying how your head lolled, eyes droopy in the erotic sensation.
"If you're going to keep playing like that I'm gonna need to take over. You've been naughty enough for me." The archer sultry says, nipping at your clavicle.
"Kate, what—"
She hoists you an inch, only to thrust you back to her cock. "Always taking what you want, doing as you please. I'll have to teach you some manners next time baby. But right now… I will do as you said; buried deep in you.”
Kate slid her hand on the flesh of your bare ass cheek and gave it a light spank. Reveling and lost in how she fit inside of you, your head lolled in the stack of pleasure. Your body practically molded and moved along the archer languidly, feeling her front against yours.
Fuck, how can she fit in the depths you've never explored before? The squelching sounds of your wetness grew and filled the car, erotic to your ears. The vehicle no doubt rocking along the motion and build up that Kate has been brewing.
Your hands loosely enveloped between the driver seat's headrest, upper body slumped and now chest-to-chest against Kate. Even with her unwavering thrusts, you feel the heel of her palm firm around the side of your neck, along with her thumb applying pressure – inches away from your jugular notch – squeezing you.
No, Kate was choking you.
Eyes flutter shut, you respond with enthusiasm. "Yes, oh, yes!"
"You look so beautiful right now..." Kate dazedly confessed. Her hands moved to your lower back for support. Opening your eyes in curiosity, you see her half-lidded eyes – your favorite ones – softening. "No, you always do. I can't believe this,"
The peppered kisses on your shoulder and above your chest were spread out. Kate's breathing was gruff, you found it adorable as you were well-acquainted with her focused state. Her words dripped with much honesty that it pierced right into your heart, her name already indented there.
Meeting Kate halfway, your hips continued to gyrate along and your palm gently cradled her by the cheeks. You kissed her fervently, filled with a newfound passion. Kate was surprised but fully snapped out, returning the same energy. This was an enlightenment; another step that both of you are eager to explore together.
Your eyes welled up; both in joy and the fruition of her lustful hard work.
Her hips fluidly doing an upward thrusts to squeeze all the juices worth out of you, the archer makes sure that she's punctuating her punishment for you. There was barely a resistance anymore that your walls practically accommodated the entirety of Kate's cock. Although the stretch lingered, adding to the build you wanted.
"This sight? M-mm! Kate, you- you better make it count. Take all of me."
Your jaw went slack as your dirtiest fantasies are being overfilled with Kate's grip and her determined grunts. Your clit throbbed and you took it upon you to rub it. She whimpered upon witnessing the act. Kate swats your hand away, pad of her fingers applying more pressure against your nub.
You feel Kate's mouth and teeth nibbling on your pebbled nipples this time and being filled to the brim with her words, you don't know if she knew you already came.
Kate knew. Her eyes flicked between your face and saw your pretty tummy, how it twitched, the bulge of her member appearing at each pound. Her trousers were tale-telling too as it was ridiculously soaked.
A shrill was pulled out of your throat. Kate continued to thrust, "Gonna fill you up until your walls are painted white. You wanted this right? Then I'll give it to you, baby," You see her veins bulging out of her neck, the archer completely flustered as she releases thick ropes of her cum inside of you. You were still throbbing at the fill and the aftershocks. The warmth was overwhelming, from your walls and Kate's cum coating you, both of you felt slightly numbed. She kissed and marked you underneath your jaw and you hummed softly.
"Where did that come from?" You murmur while an inch away from Kate's plump lips.
"Guess you bring out the best in me."
You giggle at her silly self coming back and comb through her jet black strands, scratching at her nape. She lets out a soft moan. You're satisfied with how ruined her suit was almost unsalvageable with its creases and wetness.
“Well shit. I think we’re banned forever in this parking lot.” Kate jokes, breathless, causing you to softly chuckle. She’s never been more thankful for the invention of tinted car windows.

Picture this: You're at a dining table by the pool, feeling like VIPs under a warm little roof. You and your partner, brought together by one of life's rarest miracles - a shared breakfast! This morning it seems that all the planets are in line and all the stars are aligned just for you two. and your schedules finally decided to stop playing hard to get. But heyyyy?? Who knew dining together could feel like winning the lottery?
Tumblr media
“I’ve been starving my whole entire life,” Sunghoon sighed dramatically, eyeing the spread of delicious food like a kid in a candy store.
“Don’t you eat?” you teased, raising an eyebrow in mock concern.
“Well, my schedule doesn’t occupy any meals whatsoever,” Sunghoon replied with a hint of resignation, grabbing his utensils with a flourish. “Besides, the only thing my body digests is caffeine whenever I am in the office,” he added, raising his cup of coffee in a toast to his perpetual fuel source.
“Ah, the breakfast of champions,” you remarked with a grin. “But seriously, you should consider nourishing your body with something more substantial.” Sunghoon grinned back. “Perhaps I should.”
“Just don't let your ambitions eat you alive. Remember, even beasts need sustenance.”
"Wow, are you joking?" he countered, a playful glimmer dancing in his eyes as he curled an eyebrow in mock disbelief.
"Joke? Kill the thought,” you replied with a chuckle, shaking your head at the playful banter.
"You're toying with me, aren’t you?" he persisted, his tone shifting to one of mock seriousness as he mirrored your laughter.
“Well….”
“How’s  business going?” you asked, smoothly changing the subject as your fingers traced the rim of your glass, ready to delve into more serious conversation amidst the morning laughter.
“Um…” he squinted his eyes for a good two seconds.
“I've been meticulously examining our business strategies, and it's become apparent that we need to fine-tune our approach to stay ahead of the curve.”
You nod, taking a sip of your water,  “Especially with the new product launch coming up” he adds  “It's all about adaptability and seizing opportunities as they arise. Speaking of which….”
“Go on”
“Well you know, things like expanding product lines or exploring new markets. But also…..other personal milestones.”
“Personal milestones?”  you ask
There was a moment of silence between the two of you, the clinking of cutlery the only sound in the room. He raised his eyebrows as he was hesitant to speak.
“ I was thinking more along the lines of…..having someone to continue the legacy in the near future”  There was again silence that filled the atmosphere, a much intense one. “Don’t you think that's a bit too soon?” you chuckle at him.
“Yeah….yeah, let's take our time with this. No rush” he pats your shoulder, A small yet uneasy smile to kill off the moment of whatever was that.
“I was also thinking about grandma this morning” he says as the breakfast continued “Is everything alright with her?” you replied as he takes a sip of his coffee
“Well, she’s still in bed. I spoke with my mom yesterday, and she mentioned that grandma's feeling lonely”
“I thought maybe we could see her this afternoon, after I finish up some business papers.” he added as you smile at him
"Perhaps we could swing by the florist on our way and grab a lovely bouquet of her favorite roses" he suggested eagerly, catching your nod of agreement. The sense of excitement in his voice, enthusiasm shining through. While he tended to be talkative, it was when his adrenaline kicked in that his thoughts spilled out most freely.

Inside a charming flower shop filled with an array of vibrant blooms. You and Sunghoon, stand not so near the counter, eagerly awaiting the completion of a floral arrangement.
“Look at all these stunning arrangements..I can't decide which one your granny would like best.” You say as you took a picture of the flowers
“She always appreciates anything with roses.  They remind her of her garden back home.” Hoon smiles as he touches one of the rose petals.
Waiting in line took a very long time as the flower shop was filled with a lot of customers today. “What if I pop over and grab some cinnamon rolls for your granny?”
“Where?” he asks, raising an eyebrow.
You point at the bakery shop just in front of the flower shop. “Sure, go ahead, I’ll keep looking for flowers for the arrangement.”
You stepped into the cozy bakery, the aroma of freshly baked cinnamon rolls enveloping you in warmth. Your eyes were enough to dance over the array of treats on display, finally settling on a dozen of the irresistible pastries.
Making your way to the line was easy since it wasn’t occupied that much, though your attention was drawn to someone familiar—a figure in a black hoodie, blue jeans, and a beanie, with his face partially obscured.
"Heeseung? Hi there!" you called out, waving at him with a smile. It took a moment, but, well, recognition dawned on his face, and he returned your greeting with a grin.
"Y/N. “
“It's been ages. How have you been?" Heeseung exclaimed. You closed the distance between you and Heeseung. "I've been good, thank you. Just here to pick up some cinnamon rolls for Hoon’s grandma. How about you?"
Heeseung's smile widened. "I've been busy with work, but things are going well. Thanks for asking."
“We should definitely catch up sometime," you suggested.  As you chatted, it struck you how much Heeseung had transformed. Gone were the days of boyish charm; now, he exuded the confidence of a man who's survived one too many group projects. His eyes held a glint of wisdom, or perhaps it was just the reflection of his newfound love for Sudoku puzzles. But fear not, underneath that veneer of maturity, he was still the same old Heeseung, a buddy whose loyalty could rival that of a golden retriever—just with fewer tail wags and more inside jokes.
The bakery is eerily quiet now, with just you and Heeseung left amidst the faint scent of cinnamon. You glance at your watch, only to realize you've become a time traveler, lost in the tantalizing vortex of pastry-induced euphoria.
"Oh, I completely forgot about the flowers for Hoon's grandma" you exclaimed, a twinge of guilt creeping into your voice.
Heeseung chuckled softly, his warm eyes reflecting genuine understanding. "Don't worry about it," he reassured, his voice carrying a comforting tone. "I'm sure Hoon will understand. Besides, it was really nice catching up with you." He nudges the door open.
You shared one last smile outside the bakery before hastily grabbing a box of cinnamon rolls and rushing out of the bakery, mentally berating yourself for being so distracted. As you dashed across the street to the flower shop, you noticed Sunghoon standing by the window, his arms crossed and a bemused expression on his face.
Forget it, you were oblivious that Sunghoon was giving glares on the window of the flower shop.  "Running late, huh?" Sunghoon teased as you entered the flower shop, a playful grin on his lips.
You shot him an apologetic look while setting the box of cinnamon rolls down on the counter. "Sorry, Sunghoon. Time just got away from me. But I come bearing treats."
Sunghoon's eyes lit up at the sight of the cinnamon rolls. "Ah, you're forgiven then. But you owe me something for making me wait." You chuckled, knowing he was only half-serious. "Deal. So, what flowers are we getting for Grandma today?"
Sunghoon leaned in closer, lowering his voice conspiratorially. "Well, Grandma loves those white roses we got last time, but I was thinking we could add some baby breaths this time. Mix it up a bit, you know?"
"Sounds perfect”
Tumblr media
You and Sunghoon make your way to his grandmother's room, with you shouldering the box of cinnamon rolls, their sweet scent wafting through the hallway, while Sunghoon gracefully carries the flower bouquet.
Entering the room, his grandmother is in conversation with a bedside nurse, discussing her medications. Sunghoon sets his coat down on the couch before approaching her with a warm smile. "Halmeoni, How are you feeling today?" he asks, his concern evident in his tone.
You follow suit, offering a gentle hug as you greet her, "Hi, halmeoni! We've missed you."  eyes light up in your presence.
"And I've missed you two. It's been too long since you last visited."
"We brought you some flowers and a box of cinnamon rolls to lighten up the mood," you mention, presenting the treats with a flourish. "Oh, bless you, dear. You always think of everything,".  Turning the conversation to entertainment, Sunghoon suggests bringing her some DVDs, to which she declines, mentioning the hospital TV.
As the conversation flows, Sunghoon inquires about her health, “So, how have you been feeling overall? Any improvement?” he asks “Oh, you know, ups and downs. But I'm staying positive.”
His grandmother's gaze shifts to you, her expression curious yet caring. "You know, dear, you've been looking a bit different lately. Are you feeling alright?" she asks, her concern evident in her tone.
"Oh, well, Grandma, that's very kind of you to say. Maybe it's just the lighting in here," you respond, pointing at the windows that are no longer covered with curtains.
There's an awkward silence as his grandma continues to look at you, her expression unreadable. Sunghoon clears his throat, "Grandma, do you need anything else while we're here? Magazines, maybe some snacks?"
She shakes her head, "No, I'm fine for now. Just having you two here is enough to lift my spirits," she says, looking at both of you with warmth in her eyes.
_
"Hey, how about we grab a cup of coffee?" Sunghoon suggests a faint smile playing on his lips. "I could really use a breather after all that catching up," he adds, gently closing the door behind him. The conversation with his grandma was cut short since it was her time for sleep medications.
“I think I'll pass on the coffee. You seem like you've already had enough caffeine for the both of us." you chuckle lightly, gesturing to the slight jitteriness in Sunghoon's movements.
Sunghoon blinks,  "Yeah, you might be right," feeling the residual effects of his earlier espresso shot he took as he does his business papers. "Maybe we can just take a walk instead? Clear our heads a bit."
Tumblr media
“A stroll in the park with my favorite person.” Sunghoon  grins as he looks at you.  “Flattery will get you everywhere, you know.” you nudge him  “Hey, it's not flattery if it's true” he says as he avoids your nudging.
“The flowers we gave to my grandma reminds me of that bouquet I got you on our 4th anniversary.”   “Good thing you noticed” you smile fondly. “Though, you know you don't have to wait for special occasions to bring me flowers, right?” you teased him.
“Duly noted Babe. I'll keep that in mind for next time.” He grins sheepishly
It was a warm spring afternoon, and the park was alive with families and laughter. But for you and him, Well. Maybe it was a moment of reflection.
Since nothing lingered in the air between the two of you but subtle tensions.
Believe me, Sunghoon, normally pragmatic and level-headed, found himself swept away by the notion of parenthood ever since both of you got married, however he couldn’t really bring that up since he felt you despised it.
As both of you wandered through the park, the sight of families enjoying their time together stirred a longing within him. Watching couples with baby strollers pass by, he could feel a sense of yearning for what could be.
“Our future, huh? You're getting ahead of yourself, aren't you?” you said. “Imagining us with a little one of our own someday, it's a pretty nice thought.” he grins
“Alright, alright, let's not get carried away just yet. We have plenty of time for that.” you say as you playfully roll your eyes. “Fair enough,” he chuckles. “But admit it you’ve thought about it too, right?” he ask, looking into your eyes for any sort of approval;.
“Well, whenever the time comes, I know we'll make great parents.” he squeezes your hand. You smile at him as he lean your head to his shoulder.

You're quite committed when it comes to keeping promises, aren't you? So, about catching up with Heeseung yesterday... Wasn't exactly a meticulously planned rendezvous, but you figured out that  meeting over coffee would be rather effortless, especially since it's on your tab.
Settling into the cozy café chair, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air, and you glance at your watch once more. Heeseung was running a bit late, but you didn't mind. It gave you a chance to soak in the ambiance of the quaint café and anticipate catching up with an old friend.
Just as you start to wonder if he forgot about your meeting, the door swings open, and Heeseung strides in with his trademark smile. "Sorry I'm late," he says with a sheepish grin, sliding into the chair opposite you. "Traffic was insane."
You wave off his apology with a chuckle. "No worries. I was enjoying the people-watching anyway." Heeseung glances around the café, taking in the cozy atmosphere. "Nice choice of venue. It's been ages since I've been here."
"Yeah, I thought it'd be a good spot for a relaxed chat," you reply, flagging down a waiter to order some drinks. As you wait for your orders to arrive, Heeseung leans forward, a curious glint in his eyes. "So, what's been going on with you lately? Any exciting updates?"
Launching into a lively recount of recent events in your life. Heeseung listens attentively, interjecting with questions and anecdotes of his own. After a while, the conversation shifts to reminiscing about old times. You both share a laugh over embarrassing high school stories and nostalgic memories of your college days.
"You remember that road trip we took senior year?" Heeseung says, a nostalgic smile playing on his lips. "That was one for the books. ""Definitely," you reply with a grin. "Getting lost in the middle of nowhere and surviving on gas station snacks for hours. Good times." He sighs.
The waiter arrives with your drinks, and you both take a moment to savor the rich aroma of the freshly brewed coffee before diving back into conversation.
"Hey, I've been meaning to ask," he begins tentatively, "how's Sunghoon? Last I heard, he was doing pretty well." You pause for a moment, surprised by the sudden mention of your husband. Sunghoon and Heeseung had been classmates in high school, but they weren't particularly close. But Heeseung  was probably the reason why you both met since he invited you to a party, the rest was history.
"Oh, Sunghoon's doing great, thanks for asking," you reply with a warm smile. "He's been busy with work lately, but he's doing what he loves, so he doesn't mind the long hours." Heeseung nods, his. "That's good to hear.”
You chuckle softly “He's definitely driven, that's for sure. Sometimes I have to remind him to take a break and….” you trail off, and there was silence grown between the two of you
"Do you have a girlfriend?" You blurted out, instantly regretting it as if your mouth had been caffeinated with a shot of espresso and a splash of tequila.
Heeseung's eyes widened ever so slightly at the unexpected inquiry, but he couldn't help but chuckle. "Nope, no girlfriend on the horizon. Too busy juggling work and, well, trying not to burn down the kitchen every time I attempt to cook."
You both shared a laugh, the awkwardness of the moment dissipating like morning fog under the warm rays of a comedic sunrise.
You nod, relieved at his casual response. "Sorry for saying that out of the blue” you say  “But you never know when someone might come along and sweep you off your feet.” you add, as Heeseung grins, shaking his head. "Yeah, maybe someday. For now, I'm just enjoying the single life."  You chuckle at him.
Eventually, the café begins to empty out, and the waiter discreetly clears away the last of the dishes.  "Well, I guess we should probably head out," you say reluctantly, gathering your belongings.
Heeseung nods, a hint of reluctance in his expression. "Yeah, I suppose so. But hey, let's not leave it so long until the next time we catch up, okay?"
You smile, feeling a warmth spread through you at the thought of reconnecting with Heeseung more regularly. "Definitely. And who knows? Maybe next time, you'll have some exciting dating stories to share."
Heeseung chuckles, throwing an arm around your shoulder as you make your way out of the café. "Yeah, maybe. Thanks for the chat, though. It was really great catching up."

As you step into the grand foyer of the mansion, the tranquil air is gently stirred by the soft melody of a jazz tune, dim lights, with a scent of lavish lavender spreading throughout the whole place.
"Well, well, look who decided to grace us with her presence," a familiar voice calls out, drawing your attention.
It's Sunghoon, standing regally on the first-floor landing, clad in a luxurious robe with a book in hand. Won't deny, won't lie. You were weirdly checking him out. . His gaze meets yours as he descends the staircase which drives you terrifically insane. The robe was barely covering some parts of his chest, his collarbone exposed.
"Y/N, where did you disappear to? You didn't even leave a note," he chides with a playful smirk.
You offer a sheepish smile, shrugging slightly. "Oh, Sunghoon, don't be so dramatic," you retort, taking a few steps closer to him, your heels clicking lightly on the marble floor. "I just popped out for a caffeine fix with an old friend. Didn't want to disturb your intense battle with the stock market."
He chuckles softly, his eyes sparkle with amusement as he crosses his arms, you could see his veins.
"You know me too well, love," he concedes, beginning to descend the rest of the stairs. "But next time, a little heads-up wouldn't hurt. I was starting to think you flirted with the barista."
"Are you kidding me?" you scoff incredulously, a playful glint in your eye as you meet his gaze. you graze your hand on his chest. You slightly tilted your head as laughter bubbles up between you, filling the foyer with warmth and light. You give a peck on his lips.
Enough flirtatious session, wouldn't it be delightful to conclude the day by unwinding with a nightcap in the study room?
Picture it: the warm glow of the fireplace casting a cozy ambiance.
Sunghoon gestures for you to take a seat on the plush sofa, while he pours both of you  a glass of fine whiskey from the crystal decanter. “So, about our plans for the following weeks…”
You settle comfortably into the sofa, raising an eyebrow inquisitively as you take the glass from him. “What plans are those, dear? You're not plotting to whisk me away on another surprise adventure, are you?”
He chuckles, shaking his head as he takes a seat beside you,  moreover getting a perfect angle of his side view. “Not quite, my love. Actually, we've been invited to my cousin's wedding.”
“Remember Sakura? She's finally tying the knot”
The news was absolutely spontaneous and here's the kicker - he’s been asked to be the best man.  Their wedding preparation  had been announced a few months back, but if it wasn’t for his busy schedules alongside tons of business trips, he wouldn’t be so damned “oblivious” about it.
“Just slipped my mind amidst the chaos of work and other commitments. But don't worry, Y/N, we have a lot of time to get everything sorted.” he says, planting a light kiss on your lips “I'll have to work on my best man duties from now on." Sunghoon replied, taking a sip of his drink.  You chuckled softly, however  you knew deep inside without any doubts that he’ll not do it any splendidly.
But who knows? maybe a sense of anticipation swirled for him,  Perhaps tinged with excitement for the upcoming celebration.. Whatever that was,  He's acting like being the best man is some kind of reunion with his "loved ones." Like, please, spare yourself the sentimental crap.

First week of wedding preparation. Everything started to get more tense than usual, talk about the dress fittings first of all? Good thing you were close with one of the bridesmaids. Yeah, the one that Sunghoon specified as “the most angel-like” out of all of his cousins? Chaewon.
Sakura’s  attention was pulled in every direction, leaving Chaewon and you to your own devices. Leaning against the wall, both of you exchanged commiserating glances, silently plotting an escape from the dresses.
"I can't believe we have to wear these in front of everyone," Chaewon muttered under her breath. You  nodded sympathetically. "I know, but what choice do we have? It's for Sakura’s big day." Chaewon sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I just hope we don't trip over these ridiculous skirts."
A mischievous grin tugged at your lips. "Well, if we do, at least we'll go down together." We shared a laugh.
As the bridesmaid’s fittings came to an end, Sakura approached both of you  with a hopeful expression. "So, what do you think? Are you ready to rock those dresses?"
Chaewon and you exchanged a glance, a silent understanding passing between both of you . With a shared nod, you both turned to Sakura, plastering on your most convincing smiles.
"We can't wait to strut our stuff down the aisle." Sakura’s face lit up with delight, her excitement contagious. "That's what I like to hear! Thank you both so much for being a part of my special day."
Though the road ahead might be filled with questionable fashion choices and inevitable mishaps. And who knows? Maybe, just maybe, both of you would even learn to love those dreaded bridesmaid dresses along the way.

The plush surroundings of the fancy restaurant provided a luxurious backdrop as Sunghoon and you settled into our seats, the clinking of cutlery and murmur of conversation filling the air.
"So, how was your day, Sunghoon?" I asked, my voice warm with genuine interest. He sighed, running a hand through his hair with a weary expression.  "Busy, as always. Finalizing the details for the bachelor party and dealing with work stuff. You know how it is."
I nodded sympathetically, squeezing his hand in understanding. "Sounds like a handful. Well, hopefully, dinner will be a chance for us to unwind."
As both of you perused the menu, the conversation naturally turned to Sakura's upcoming wedding, a topic that had been on both of your minds lately. With Sunghoon being the best man and me a bridesmaid, the dress fittings were a common concern.
"So, about Sakura's wedding," Sunghoon began, his tone thoughtful. "Have you heard anything about the dress fittings?"
I sighed, setting down the menu with a slight frown. "Unfortunately, yes. It seems there's been a bit of a snag."
Sunghoon's eyebrows furrowed in concern. "What happened?" I leaned in closer, lowering my voice to a whisper. "Well, let's just say the bridesmaid dresses are a bit too much"
He groaned, running a hand through his hair.
"You're kidding. What's wrong with them?"
I grimaced, recalling the ill-fitting gown from earlier in the day. "They're... less than flattering. Chaewon and I practically had to wrestle ourselves into them."
Sunghoon shook his head in disbelief. "This wedding seems to be one hurdle after another. First, the venue mix-up, and now this."
I nodded in agreement, my frustration mounting. "Tell me about it. I just hope Sakura doesn't have a massive breakdown before the big day."
The evening ends with Sunghoon hoping that both of you would survive the wedding without any major disasters.
Time seemed to slip through your fingers like sand, and before you knew it, you were only a week away from the big day. The countdown to Sakura's wedding was on, and the days seemed to blend together in a whirlwind of excitement and anticipation. Amidst the flurry of last-minute preparations, there were countless festivities planned by both the bride and groom, each event adding to the mounting excitement leading up to the main event.
While some of these festivities were optional for you to go to, for Sunghoon, as the best man, attendance was practically mandatory. He found himself side-handling all the arrangements and logistics, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch. From coordinating transportation to managing guest lists, Sunghoon was the epitome of efficiency.
For Sunghoon, these moments often came in the form of late-night visits to home.  It became somewhat of a ritual – Sunghoon would arrive, weary and worn, the weight of his responsibilities etched into every line of his face.
Sunghoon stumbled through the doorway with a stumble and a hiccup, the unmistakable scent of alcohol trailing behind him like a mischievous shadow.
You stood in the kitchen, arms crossed and a disapproving frown etched upon your features. "Oh, look who decided to grace us with his presence. I see the festivities were a smashing success." you smile sarcastically.
"Ah, don't be like that, Y/N," he slurred, waving a hand dismissively. "I'm just embracing my duties as the best man."
You rolled her eyes, accustomed to your husband's antics after years of marriage. "Yes, because stumbling in at the crack of dawn smelling like a brewery is definitely the mark of a responsible best man," you retorted, your tone teasing.
Sunghoon grinned, reaching out to grab your hand as you  passed by. "Hey now, don't act like you're not impressed by my dedication," he quipped, his words slightly slurred. "Besides, you knew what you were getting into when you married me. I'm a wild card, babe."
You chuckled, swatting his hand away gently before returning to your phone. "Ah yes a wild card, who is out there making out with random girls instead of just celebrating with your friends." you tease him.
Sunghoon gasped dramatically, clutching his chest. "How could you accuse me of such a thing, my dear? I am a loyal and devoted husband!" You laughed, playfully swatting his arm. "Oh please, spare me the theatrics. I know you're just a big softie who can't handle his liquor."
Sunghoon grinned, pulling you into a hug. "Well, I may be a big softie, but I'm your big softie." You rolled her eyes, returning the hug. "Yes, and I wouldn't have it any other way."
He made a mental note to apologize to you  properly once he was sober enough to form those “coherent” sentences. But for now, he was content to bask in your warmth  knowing that no matter how wild the night before had been, he always had you by his side to keep him grounded. EAJKHDAJHDAKJDHA
It's like being caught in a whirlwind of confetti and chaos. On one hand, you have the bachelorette party, a guaranteed recipe for chaos and questionable decisions. It's like herding cats through a glitter factory—utterly entertaining, yet slightly concerning for your sanity.
And then, there's the Family Party, where drama flows as freely as the drinks. It's like a real-life soap opera, complete with long-lost relatives and enough gossip to power a small town. You're not sure whether to bring popcorn or a crash helmet, but either way, it's bound to be a rollercoaster ride of awkward conversations and embarrassing anecdotes.
You're not entirely sure if you've ever been to the family party before, or if it's just a folklore passed down through generations like the tale of your aunt’s missing dentures. It's like trying to remember the lyrics to a song you've only heard once in a dream—faintly familiar, but mostly a mystery.
But hey, who needs a memory when you have a survival kit packed with snacks and a fake smile sharp enough to slice through the tension? Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a first-time explorer of this familial jungle, one thing's for sure: you're in for a wild ride, complete with awkward encounters and enough passive-aggressive comments to fuel a small country's worth of therapists. Let the festivities commence... or is it… survive?
A few FEW YEARS back (flashback) !!! (feel free to skip lol)
This heightened attention was not solely a product of chance. In the bustling metropolis of New York, a chance encounter with Charlotte Kim, a figure of notable pedigree and social standing, had unwittingly propelled you into the realm of public scrutiny. Charlotte, once a companion of Sunghoon Park during their university days, captured a candid  between you and Sunghoon during a cozy café rendezvous, with the click of her camera.
As the photograph circulated among acquaintances and acquaintances of acquaintances, it served as fodder for speculation and gossip. "No ring?" ventured a curious girl , casting a subtle glance at your bare fingers. "No ring," she affirmed, her response echoing with a quiet confidence that belied the curiosity that surrounded her.
It wasn't long before whispers of Sunghoon's impending return to Korea with a mysterious girl began to permeate the social stratosphere.

In the opulent halls of his mother's ancestral mansion, the air carried the weight of tradition, mingled with the faint scent of aged oak and polished silver. As the evening sun cast long shadows through the antique lace curtains, the family gathered for an elegant dinner, each member donning their best "pretending to like each other" attire.
As the evening progressed, conversation flowed freely, punctuated by the clink of fine crystal and the soft rustle of silk. Sunghoon’s uncles pontificate about politics, waving their fork like a seasoned politician making empty promises, while his aunties critiqued the latest art trends with the fervor of a Renaissance art critic stuck in the wrong century.
Yet beneath the surface civility, tensions simmered, a silent undercurrent of rivalry and resentment that threatened to boil over at any moment. The family dog, “Sir Barkington III” whatever that name was , oblivious to the human drama unfolding, happily gnawed on a bone under the table, providing the only genuine display of contentment in the room. As the night wore on, it became increasingly clear that the only thing more polished than the silverware was the art of pretending everything was fine in this dysfunctional yet impeccably dressed family.
The soft glow of chandeliers, like celestial spotlights, illuminated the opulent hall, casting a glow on the perfectly coiffed heads of the guests. You found yourself standing beside Mrs. Minseo Park, your husband's mother, amidst a sea of relatives so rich they sneeze gold dust.
It felt like being a penguin at a peacock convention—out of place and desperately hoping no one notices your lack of feathers. And yet, there you were, about to play a game with higher stakes than a poker match in a diamond mine.
Cue the dramatic music~~~~
As the champagne bubbles in your glass, you couldn't shake off the feeling of being under Mrs. Minseo's microscope. "You know, Y/N, these family gatherings always make me feel like I'm auditioning for a role in a historical drama," Mrs. Minseo quipped, her tone dripping with sarcasm.
You mustered a strained smile. "Ah yes, the importance of lineage and all that jazz."Mrs. Minseo took a sip, her gaze sharpening. "Speaking of lineage, have you and my son had the 'talk' about expanding the family tree?"
The topic had been a persistent thorn in your side, poking at you from all angles. "Well, it's been a topic of discussion," you replied cautiously.
Mrs. Minseo raised an eyebrow. "And?"
"And... let's just say we're still in the brainstorming phase," you admitted, feeling like you were tiptoeing through a minefield. Mrs. Minseo’s  disapproval practically radiated off her. "Three years of marriage, dear. Time to start popping out those heirs."
You fought the urge to roll your eyes. "Easier said than done, Mrs. Minseo. Sunghoon and I have a few more items on our to-do list before we dive into parenthood." Mrs. Minseo’s perfectly painted lips formed a thin line. "Such as?"
"Such as not wanting to raise our kids in a cardboard box," you shot back, your patience wearing thin. Her expression hardened. "A woman's place is in the home, dear. Haven't you heard?"
You took a deep breath, summoning your inner calm. "Yes, but I also heard that women can do anything men can do, except maybe pee standing up. So forgive me if I want a career and a family."
Mrs. Minseo’s eyes narrowed. "If you focused more on being a wife, maybe Sunghoon  wouldn't have wandering eyes."
Your jaw practically hit the floor. "Excuse me?"
She leaned in, her voice dripping with disdain. "I've seen the way he looks at other women at these kinds of events. If you can't fulfill his needs as a wife, don't be surprised if he seeks companionship elsewhere."
Your stomach churned with a mixture of anger and disbelief. "Sunghoon loves me, and I trust him."   Mrs. Minseo’s  façade softened, but her disapproval lingered. "I hope you're right, dear. For your sake."
With a curt nod, she excused herself, leaving you feeling like you'd just been hit by a whirlwind of outdated opinions and passive-aggressive remarks. But you refused to let her rain on your parade. You and Sunghoon would figure out your family plans on your own terms, thank you very much. And if anyone dared to question your choices or your marriage, they'd better be ready for a battle.
The time that you turned around wine splattered across your dress, turning your elegant attire into a vibrant Rorschach test, you couldn't help but let out a startled yelp. "Oh, for the love of... who just painted me like one of those French girls?" you grumbled, turning to face the perpetrator, turning around to face the perpetrator, only to be met with the sheepish grin of none other than Heeseung, yeah,  your old high school buddy.
“Heeseung? What in the world are you doing here?" you exclaimed, trying to process the surreal moment. This was supposed to be a strictly family affair, and last time you checked, Heeseung wasn't on the guest list.
Heeseung scratched the back of his head, a guilty expression crossing his features.  Heeseung grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Always prepared, my friend. You never know when a good pratfall might come in handy. Right?”
As you both attempted to mop up the mess (both literal and figurative), you couldn't shake off the surrealness of the situation. Here you were, at a supposedly exclusive family party, and lo and behold, Heeseung, the long-lost friend, pops up like a pop-up ad on a website.
"So, spill the tea, Heeseung. What brings you to this neck of the woods?" you asked, genuinely curious about his unexpected appearance. Both of you guys walking onto the garden fields.
Heeseung scratched the back of his head, a mischievous twinkle in his eye. "Well, funny story. Turns out my mom is the long-lost cousin twice removed of your husband's aunt's neighbor's cat sitter."
You couldn't help but burst into laughter at his convoluted explanation. "Ah, the classic 'six degrees of separation' scenario. Who knew our family trees were intertwined in such bizarre ways?"
Heeseung grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Yeah, small world, huh? But hey, at least it led me to this moment of wine-spilling glory."
As you both share a laugh at the absurdity of it all. Sure, he may be a walking calamity, but he was your calamity, and you wouldn't have it any other way.
You ended the night with champagne problems, bidding farewell to the storm and hello to the calm, leaving your Sunghoon behind amidst the wreckage of the “what the fuck is this” party. You can't help but be simultaneously annoyed and amused by the man you call your own. Ah, marriage: where every day is a new adventure in forgiveness and eye-rolling.
As you lay in bed, the air crackling with unspoken tension, you couldn't help but feel like you were starring in your very own melodrama. The evening had been a rollercoaster of emotions, and now, as you lay there in the darkness, you couldn't shake off the feeling that you were trapped in a bad sitcom.
You had arrived home earlier than expected, your blood boiling after yet another run-in with your mother-in-law. Without so much as a warning text to Sunghoon, you had stormed into the bedroom, the door slamming shut behind you like the finale of a dramatic soap opera.
"So, you're just gonna pretend to be asleep, huh?" Sunghoon broke down the silence, the sound of him removing his blazer was briefly audible in the room.
You suppressed a snicker, knowing full well that your acting skills were about as convincing as a toddler's attempt at hiding behind a curtain.  Sunghoon's eyebrows shot up in disbelief. "Don't 'sleeping beauty' me. Why didn't you tell me you were coming home early?" he crosses his arm. His sleeves rolled up.
You rolled over to face him, a mischievous glint in your eye. "Well, I didn't want to spoil the surprise, obviously. Plus, I needed some alone time with my thoughts. You know, to contemplate the mysteries of the universe and all that jazz."
Sunghoon let out an exasperated sigh, his frustration palpable. "Right, because slamming doors and sulking in bed is the epitome of enlightenment."
You couldn't help but burst into laughter at his deadpan delivery. "Hey, you try dealing with your mother's unsolicited life advice and see how zen you feel."
Sunghoon shook his head in amusement, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips despite himself. "Fair point. But next time, could you at least give me a heads up before you go all drama queen on me?"
You grinned, feeling the tension between you dissipate like a popped balloon. "No promises. After all, where's the fun in predictability?"
And with that, the two of you settled back into bed, the laughter echoing off the walls like the soundtrack to your own private sitcom. Because when life throws you curveballs, sometimes all you can do is laugh and roll with the fucking punches.
CHAPTER 2
As the morning sun cast its cheerful glow over the amusement park, Sunghoon was knee-deep in best man duties, leaving you to spend the day with Heeseung. As you strolled through the park, Heeseung’s excitement was palpable, like a puppy on caffeine.
“So, Heeseung, what’s our first stop?” you asked, trying to keep up with his brisk pace.Heeseung pointed enthusiastically to the roller coaster towering above the trees. “That one! Let’s kick things off with a scream!”
You chuckled nervously, eyeing the coaster's loops. “Oh, joy. I hope my breakfast stays put.”
The line for the roller coaster was surprisingly short, and before you could say "safety harness," you found yourselves hurtling through the twists and turns. Heeseung's laughter echoed against the screams as you both clung on for dear life.
Once the ride ended, Heeseung looked positively thrilled. “That was awesome! What’s next?” You scanned the park map, trying to ignore the fact that your stomach was now on speaking terms with your throat. You grinned, feeling a bit like a daredevil by comparison. “Agreed. How about something less... vomit-inducing?”
Heeseung was nodding so vigorously, you thought his head might detach and roll into the nearest carnival game booth. And as you ventured into the land of rigged games and dubious prizes, Heeseung's competitive spirit burst forth like a lion who had chugged a case of energy drinks. It was less "friendly competition" and more "I must win at all costs or my pride will never let me hear the end of it."
“You think you can beat me at ring toss?” he taunted, tossing a ring with unexpected accuracy. You smirked, grabbing a ring of your own. “Oh, it’s on like Donkey Kong!”
The competition escalated, with stuffed animals hanging in the balance. After several rounds of near misses and wild throws, you both walked away with a small army of plush toys and aching arms. As the day came to a close, you collapsed onto a bench, exhausted but grinning from ear to ear.
“Well, Heeseung,” you said, wiping tears of laughter from your eyes, “this was definitely something  to remember.” Heeseung grinned back, rubbing his sore shoulder. “No kidding. Thanks for braving the rides and the games with me, Y/N.”
You nudged him playfully. “Anytime, Heeseung. Just maybe next time, we’ll invest in some motion sickness pills.”
As you traipsed through the chaotic carnival with Heeseung, the ridiculousness of the situation hit you like a giant plush hammer. "Who knew being the substitute spouse came with such sweet perks?" you quipped, elbowing Heeseung with a wink.
Heeseung chuckled, his eyes darting from one colorful attraction to another. "Well, I'm flattered to be your stand-in hubby for the day," he replied with a grin. "But let's be real, I'm probably enjoying this more than Sunghoon would."
You both shuffled over to the Ferris wheel, its towering presence promising a view that could make even a bird jealous. As you plopped into your seat, Heeseung leaned back with a satisfied sigh. "Ah, a brief escape from the circus of life," he remarked, lazily surveying the horizon.
You nodded, feeling the serene insanity of the amusement park wash over you. "Absolutely. Although I never pictured spending my day at a theme park with my husband's... what's-their-name-again cousin?" you teased, shooting Heeseung a playful side-eye.
But halfway up, Heeseung's excitement took a nosedive into full-blown panic territory. "Um, Y/N," he whimpered, his face draining faster than a slushie on a hot day, "I think I'm terrified of heights."
You couldn't stifle your laughter. "Really? Just now, when we're halfway to the clouds?" Heeseung clung to the safety bar like a sloth on caffeine until the ride finally ended.
"You're starting to remind me of my husband," you said through giggles. "Except he was scared of thunder..." Your voice trailed off as you extended your hand to Heeseung. "Need a hand, or maybe a parachute?"
You extended your hand to him, but he shot you a skeptical glance. "What the fuck is that suppose to accomplish?" he queried, raising an incredulous eyebrow.
"I dunno, maybe to prevent you from clinging to the safety bar like a koala on a eucalyptus tree?" you retorted with a shrug, nodding toward the towering Ferris wheel. He cocked his head slightly, eyeing you curiously.
"You're cool with this?" he asked, a hint of amusement in his voice. "I'm just trying to save you from turning green at the thought of heights," you quipped, rolling your eyes at him.
With a reluctant chuckle, Heeseung finally relented, tentatively taking your hand in his. As the Ferris wheel ascended, his grip tightened, but with each rotation, you felt his tension ease. "See? Not so bad, right?" you teased, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze.
Heeseung let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "Yeah, I guess you're not so bad at this” calming thing," he admitted.
As the ride reached its peak, you both marveled at the breathtaking view below. For a moment, all worries melted away, replaced by the simple joy of shared laughter and camaraderie.
When the ride finally descended, Heeseung stepped off with newfound confidence, a smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Thanks for the hand," he said, giving your fingers a final squeeze before releasing them.
"Anytime," you replied with a grin.
Heeseung, clad in his pajamas, stood in front of the bathroom sink of his sprawling house, , the opulent surroundings only adding to the absurdity of his situation.
"This is beyond ridiculous," he muttered to himself, his reflection in the mirror seeming to agree with a silent nod.
He splashed some water on his face, hoping the shock of the cold liquid would jolt him out of his swirling thoughts. But as he looked up again, his reflection remained unchanged, a constant reminder of the turmoil within.
With a frustrated sigh, Heeseung ran a hand through his  hair, his mind racing with questions he didn't have answers to.
Well, isn't that just Murphy's law in action? Of all the fish in the sea, you reel in a big, shiny, unavailable one. Classic! Now, what's next?
Well, Heeseung could always try your hand at convincing you to get a divorce with your  husband. No fucking way...That's a one-way ticket to Awkwardsville.
How about we start with a little self-reflection? Then maybe sign up for a dating app where all the profiles actually belong to single people.
You could practically hear the ominous music playing as you went out with Heeseung, fully aware that a note-less escapade would land you in the doghouse. So, you hastily wrapped up your amusement park adventure, not because you were done having fun, but because you were on a mission to beat Sunghoon home, avoiding the impending interrogation about your lack of communication! It’s like a high-stakes game of tag, except instead of being "it," you’re just "in trouble."
"Bloody hell," you muttered, juggling all your amusement park loot as you tiptoed back into the house. You couldn’t believe you’d danced so close to the flames of Sunghoon’s note wrath, but hey, victory was yours.
There you were, freshly scrubbed and draped in a silk nightie, the epitome of nighttime sensuality. Yeahhh perhaps too much sensuality for a regular evening at home. Fortunately, that was a night to remember later that evening.
Rousing from slumber to the sensation of a heavy weight on your stomach, just discovering Sunghoon nestled against you, shirtless, arms encircling you in a gentle embrace  and apparently mistaking you for a human-sized teddy bear in his sleep.
If only you went straight to bed yesterday, but no,  you made your way downstairs, night air enveloping you like a clingy ex, refusing to let go. The “silk nightie”, who was clinging for dear life, seemed to have its own agenda, plotting to reveal more than your freaking  thirst. The time you were quenching that thirst, the door creaked open, and in strutted your husband, looking like he’d just seen a ghost, a very seducing one.
You wouldn’t have seen all these love bites scattered all over your body just now in the bathroom mirror. All you knew that man was starved, in fact it was like a vampire attack, like you were some eternal blood source.
"Well, on the bright side, at least it's a clear sign that he's still absolutely obsessed with you!" Chaewon says through a phone call. You rolled your eyes as you switched your phone to the other side of your ear.
"But seriously, I might need to invest in some garlic or fucking turtle necks until these fades away” You were absolutely convinced these marks wasn't planning to vanish by the time the big day rolled around. Well, here's to hoping there's enough makeup foundation to camouflage it – or maybe just hope it passes off as avant-garde art.

As the bachelorette party continued on the beach, the atmosphere grew livelier with each passing moment. Sakura, the bride-to-be, seemed to be in her element, regaling her friends with hilarious anecdotes from her past and leading them in impromptu beach games.
With her claddering in a makeshift veil fashioned from seaweed and shells, twirls around the makeshift dance floor, her laughter infectious as she attempts to teach you the latest dance craze she picked up from a YouTube tutorial.
Yujin dramatically fanned herself, her face flushed from a combination of excitement and the relentless sun. "I swear, if I get any hotter, I'll rival a popsicle on a July afternoon"
Karina, chuckled sympathetically. "Tell me about it. At this rate, I'll be auditioning for the role of tumbleweed in a beachside Western!" wrestling with her wind-mangled hair,
You couldn't help but burst into laughter at their exaggerated plight, feeling a sense of camaraderie amidst the absurdity. "Well, if we're destined to become tumbleweeds, let's at least be the most glamorous ones ever seen on this beach"
Chaewon nodded eagerly. "Absolutely! Move over, Baywatch, here comes the Tumble Squad!"
Despite the idyllic setting, chaos seemed to follow the bride wherever she went. From all of you,  bridesmaids frantically searching for her lost engagement ring (which you guys later found buried in the sand during an impromptu game of beach volleyball) to her future mother-in-law mistaking a seagull for the wedding planner, it was abundantly clear that this bachelorette party wasn’t even close to ordinary ones.
As the day goes  by, you find yourself nestled on the sandy shores, seeking solace amidst the cacophony of bachelorette shenanigans. Just when you were about to sink into a serene trance, a sight straight out of a tipsy fairy tale unfolded before you.
There she was, the blushing bride-to-be, stumbling towards you with the grace of a drunken seagull, her eyes sparkling with mischief like a mischievous sprite.
With all the finesse of a beached mermaid, she flopped down beside you, disrupting your beachside reverie.
"Heyyy," she slurred, her words riding on a wave of tequila. "Guess what?"
You braced yourself for whatever whimsical revelation was about to befall you.
"Your hubby?" she exclaimed, leaning in so close you could practically taste the margaritas wafting from her breath. "He's our wedding superhero. Save us from total meltdown"
Your laughter bubbled up faster than champagne on New Year's Eve, imagining your usually mild-mannered partner morphing into a wedding-wielding crusader, cape and all.
"He's a legend," she proclaimed, brandishing her cocktail like a triumphant warrior.
"You've hit the jackpot, my friend” she says weakly nudging you.

As the boat swayed gently like a cradle rocked by a tipsy sailor, the groom, Jay, and Sunghoon found themselves caught in a momentary lull in the storm of wedding madness.
"So, you knew about this whole thing and didn't confront her?" Jay leaned back in his chair, arms crossed, looking like a detective from a B-grade movie.
“I gotta play it cool until the 'I do's' are done, you know?" Sunghoon replied, taking a swig of his drink. "Can't be squabbling with my Mrs. while I'm supposed to be your best man. That'd be like serving cake with a side of divorce papers."
"THEE LEE Heeseung, right?”
“ONE OF MY GROOMSMEN?" Jay asked, putting the puzzle pieces together, as he widens his eyes
Sunghoon grimaced, "Yeah, that's the one."
 "Bro, that's twisted."
"Messed up, right?" Sunghoon chuckled, though there was a hint of pain in his voice.
"Well, ain't that a pickle," Jay muttered, trying to lighten the mood but failing spectacularly. "I'm just here for the drama, mate. Pass the popcorn." he threw his hands up in mock surrender.
"Thank the heavens you dragged me into this escapade of yours away from your OWN bachelor’s party," Sunghoon says as he trims his fingers through the wine glass.
"Hey, if you stayed longer there, you would have had to punch that guy in the face? Right?” Jay said, with a concerned look.
“Sorry Hoon, can't have you rotting in jail on my wedding day." Sunghoon rolled his eyes, thoroughly unamused by Jay's cavalier attitude, knowing he had a loyal friend, yeah even if that loyalty came with a side of over-the-top theatrics.
Sunghoon actually harbored suspicions well before your chance encounter at the bakery. His intrigue began when he noticed Heeseung's name on the groomsmen list enclosed within the wedding invitation.
Heeseung certainly masked his true nature with a devilish guise, yet you found yourself too preoccupied to realize it.
Yeah, to remember when Heeseung left Sunghoon with bruises after their playdate? It's hard to believe, but it all boiled down to Sunghoon having better toys than him. What's even more surprising is that nobody reprimanded Heeseung for his behavior, it was brushed off as “typical childhood antics."
Heeseung's behavior continued as they grew older, contributing to the growing chasm between them. He would frequently target Sunghoon, resorting to physical violence during vacant times at school. Sunghoon chose to suffer in silence, fearing the consequences if he dared to tell his parents, knowing he'd face even more trouble in school if he did.
"In case it wasn't clear before, let me make it crystal: one more conversation, one more glance, even a hint of your presence near Y/N, and you'll wish you'd never done that" he uttered in a low, ominous tone, his gaze piercing into Sunghoon's soul.
“I’m not afraid of killing you right here, right now”  he whispered at Sunghoon, his eyes ablaze with a chilling intensity, after catching you both in conversation at the party where your paths first crossed.
Heeseung's just doing his best protective bulldog impression because he's fucking smitten with you, but let's face it, he's about as intimidating as a fluffy bunny wearing a 'Beware of Rabbit' sign. And yet, despite his valiant efforts, the bond between you and Sunghoon is stronger than ever. I guess love wins all over damn bunny threats

As you sit in the church pew, trying to suppress the urge to fidget and accidentally knock over the flower arrangement, your attention is suddenly diverted by the sight of Ms. Youngseo in all her glory. There she sits, like a majestic peacock in the third row, her hat towering above the congregation like a beacon of eccentricity.
You debate internally whether it's worth risking your dignity to approach her. After all, she's the aunt of Sunghoon, your husband. Ah yes, it’s the lady who made divorce seem like an extreme sport, she’s crazy but at least she is kinder than Hoon’s mother.
Mustering up your courage, telling yourself it's for the sake of civility and maybe a good story to tell later. "Ms.Youngseo, lovely to see you here," you begin, trying to sound casual despite feeling like you're tiptoeing through a minefield.
"Oh, dear, isn't it just a splendid day for a wedding?" she chirps, her voice as cheerful as a Disney character on helium. You nod, trying not to get distracted by the miniature garden atop her head. "Yes, it's quite lovely."
She gives you a knowing smile, as if she's privy to some grand secret. "Ah, weddings. Such joyous occasions. Reminds me of my third one." You resist the urge to raise an eyebrow. "Oh?"
"Yes, lovely affair, that one. Shame about my ex though. Turns out he had a wandering eye. Literally. Had to get it surgically corrected," she confides, her tone oddly chipper. You're not sure whether to laugh or run for the hills. "Well, uh, glad you could make it to this one."
She pats your hand with a gloved finger. "Oh, my dear, I wouldn't miss it for the world.”
Meanwhile, at the entrance of the church, a silent showdown unfolded like a low-budget Western film. It was the kind of conflict where the only weapons were awkward glances and passive-aggressive sighs. .
Well, Sunghoon's eyes narrow as he spots Heeseung lingering there. Suddenly, it's as if a floodgate of childhood memories bursts open, unleashing a tidal wave of old grudges and playground battles, turning his chest into a pressure cooker of pent-up irritation and resentment.
Heeseung's gaze meets Sunghoon's, as they walk past each other,  neither speaks. After many years the tension still hangs thick between them, suffocating the air around them.
And even before Jay and Sakura could even think about saying "I do," you found yourself caught in a poignant stare-down with Sunghoon. Memories flooded in like a nosy neighbor barging into your life uninvited. As the church organ wheezed into life, signaling the start of the grand spectacle, Sunghoon shot you one last desperate glance. Both of you silently mouthed those three little words, "I love you,"
And there it was, causing even the sturdiest of souls to feel a tear or two meander down their cheeks as the bride floated down the aisle, a vision of love and hope in white.
It felt like just yesterday you were the one sauntering down that very same aisle.
Tumblr media
As you and Sunghoon settled at a table, basking in the post-nuptial glow, he leaned in with a soft smile, his eyes gleaming with a hint of mischief. "You know," Sunghoon began, his voice tinged with a hint of nostalgia, "seeing Sakura walk down the aisle reminded me so much of our own wedding day."
You chuckled softly, remembering the whirlwind of emotions that had accompanied your own journey down the aisle. "Really? I didn't know I had competition," you teased, nudging him playfully.
Sunghoon grinned, shaking his head. "No competition at all. But seeing her, in that moment, it was like déjà vu. I almost cried, you know."
"Almost?" you raised an eyebrow, feigning disbelief. "You're slipping, Mr. Park. I thought you were the king of sentimental tears."
He chuckled, his gaze lingering on you with affection. "Well, I had to hold it together. Didn't want to steal the spotlight from the happy couple."
You rolled your eyes, reaching for his hand under the table. "You're such a sap," you teased, squeezing his hand gently.
"Only for you," he replied, leaning in to press a kiss to your lips. "Always for you."
Just as the glasses clinked, the speeches began, with him leading the charge. As the toasts flowed like fine wine, you couldn't resist sharing knowing glances, silently acknowledging the uncanny resemblance between Sakura's procession and your own wedding extravaganza. It was indeed déjà vu with champagne.
Outside the elegant venue, away from the laughter and music of the wedding reception, Sunghoon sought a moment of solace, a cigarette hanging between his fingers. Champagne wasn’t enough to  relieve all this wedding stress.
He was startled to find Heeseung standing in the shadows, a cigarette of his own between his lips. The sight of his childhood tormentor sent a chill down Sunghoon's spine, but he squared his shoulders, refusing to show weakness.
Heeseung's smirk was as insidious as ever, his gaze lingering on Sunghoon with a predatory glint. "Well, if it isn't little Sunghoon. Enjoying your moment of freedom, away from your precious wife?"
Sunghoon's grip tightened on his cigarette, the ember glowing in the darkness. He forced a tight smile, his voice cold. "Just taking a breather, Heeseung. What about you?
Heeseung's eyes glinted with mischief as he took a drag. "Ah, that is overrated. I prefer the view inside.
“Speaking of views... your wife. She's quite the sight, isn't she?"
Sunghoon's blood chilled at the mention of his wife, his grip on the cigarette tightening involuntarily, his temper ready to burst despite his attempts to keep it in check. "Watch your words, Heeseung. You're skating on thin ice here."
Heeseung chuckled darkly, the sound sending a chill down Sunghoon's spine. "Oh, come on, Sunghoon. Let's be real. She's got curves in all the right places. I bet she keeps you on your toes in bed."
Sunghoon felt his vision blur with rage, it looks like the cigarette is now a forgotten accessory. He stepped forward,  "That's crossing the line bud. Don't you dare talk about her like that."
Heeseung's smirk widened, his gaze daring. "Or what? You'll finally grow a backbone? I highly doubt it. You've always been about as sturdy as a wet noodle, Sunghoon. And as for your wife... well, she deserves someone with a bit more backbone, don't you think?"
“Oh please it’s like you’re even better than me” Sunghoon rolls his eyes
“Just admit it”     “You’re jealous of me”
“That’s why I had to endure every bit of your endless torments”
With a sudden, sharp impact, everything blurred for a split second. The sensation of Heeseung's fist crashing into Sunghoon's face rips through him like a bolt of lightning.
Sunghoon's control snapped like a brittle twig, his hand lashing out to grab Heeseung by the collar. The air crackled with tension as they locked eyes, the weight of years of resentment hanging heavy between them.
Both of their eyes lock, a silent battlefield where years of bitterness and resentment converge. The air crackles with the tension of unspoken words, heavy with the weight of our tangled history.
But then, with a deep breath, Sunghoon released his hold, his voice steely. "Stay away from  her, Heeseung. Or you'll fucking regret it." Before the situation can escalate further, a hand grips his shoulder, pulling Sunghoon back from the brink of violence.
It's Jay,  his expression a mix of concern and admonishment.
"Sunghoon, what the hell are you doing?" Jay's voice cuts through the tension, grounding Sunghoon  in the reality of the present moment. Sunghoon takes a deep breath, as Jay turns his attention to Heeseung, his tone firm.
"Heeseung, I think it's best if you leave," Jay says, his words carrying a weight of finality while death glaring at Heeseung. With a final glance at Sunghoon, Heeseung nods curtly before disappearing, leaving behind a lingering sense of unease.
Tumblr media
As you enter the bedroom, you find Sunghoon sitting on the edge of the bed, his expression a mix of pain and frustration. His lips are swollen and bruised, evidence of the altercation with Heeseung at the wedding reception.
Approaching him with a mixture of concern and amusement, you suppress a smile at the sight of his injured pride. "Well, look at you," you tease gently, "getting into fights at weddings. I always knew you had a knack for drama."
Sunghoon manages a weak chuckle, though it's clear that the pain is still fresh in his mind. "It wasn't my fault," he protests, wincing as he touches his swollen lip gingerly. "Heeseung just sucker-punched me out of nowhere."
Once you've finished tending to his injury, you lean back and regard him with a playful glint in your eye. "You know, maybe you should take it easy on the whole rivalry thing," you suggest lightly. "I don't want to have to patch you up after every encounter with Heeseung."
Sunghoon rolls his eyes, but there's a hint of amusement in his gaze. "Yeah, yeah, I know," he concedes, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to your cheek. "But promise me one thing?"
you raise an eyebrow, curious. "What's that?"
Sunghoon's expression turns serious as he meets your gaze. "Promise me you'll stay away from Heeseung," he says softly. "I don't want you getting mixed up in our history."
You smile reassuringly, placing a hand on his cheek. "Don't worry," you assure him, "I have no intention of getting involved in your drama from now on.  Besides, I have enough trouble dealing with you."
Sunghoon grins, leaning in to press a kiss to your lips, his injury forgotten for the moment.

Hi, I love your writing, I recently read your James Drabble about reader and James being domestic and reader eating all the blackberries. It gave off such summer comfort vibes, I was wondering if you would be able to write something with either James or Remus (you choose I love them both) and reader going to a farmers market or just laying in the summer sun while reader reads and maybe tracing lines on her back. I know I gave you a few ideas, but if you’re comfortable writing something, anything thing would be good, your writing’s always good.
Hope you’re having a lovely day :)
Thanks for requesting, hope you're having a lovely day too <3
James Potter x fem!reader ♡ 794 words
The sun is warm on your back, beating off the white of your book’s pages so glaringly you’ve had to put on your sunglasses to read comfortably. The top you’re wearing is cut low in the back so you can soak in the rays, and you’ve laid a blanket down on the grass to do just that. James is meant to be running the trail around the park, but he’d announced his break twenty minutes ago to snack on the strawberries you’d bought at the farmers market and has somehow fallen into tracing shapes on your bare skin.
You’re pretending to still be immersed in your book, but it’s growing difficult.
“What are you doodling back there?” you ask him.
“Working on my cursive,” he says, drawing a loop next to your spine that makes you shiver despite the warm day. “My teachers were right, I lost the skill once I stopped practicing.”
“You’re writing? What are you saying?”
“Nonsense, really. But—hold on, I’ll try to write something and you tell me if you can understand what it says.”
You laugh. “Okay,” you say, but James presses a hand to your back to still you, shushing with mock seriousness.
“Shh, lovie, you’re shaking my canvas.”
You set your chin down on the blanket, giving up on reading and closing your eyes to decipher James’ messages.
His finger makes a couple of odd loops on your back, and you guess, “Do?”
“Yes!”
Another series of loops. They tickle as they get lower, and James tuts when you wriggle slightly.
“Wait,” you say, “I didn’t get that one.”
Your boyfriend sighs heavily. You think you can hear a smile in the sound. “Fine,” he says with great reluctance, “I’ll do it again, but please try to pay attention this time. I’m trying to ask you something urgent.”
You smile to yourself, but focus in as he traces the letters again.
“You?”
“There we go! Knew you could do it. Alright, stay with me…”
James makes it fairly easy on you. The majority of the words are short and simple, only a few letters. Do you want some…
You get stuck on the last one, making him repeat it a few times, slower and slower, until you guess, “Strawberries?”
“Finally.” James lets out a big breath, drooping forward so he’s laid across you with his chin digging into your back. “Angel, you know I love you, but I don’t think that was my cursive’s fault. I think you need to work on your reading comprehension skills.”
You roll your eyes. “How is asking me if I want strawberries urgent?”
“Because I’m about to finish them off.”
“Wait, actually?” James’ weight lifts off you as you push yourself up on your elbows, turning to see the container of strawberries you’d bought only an hour ago. It had been heaping then, but now there are only a handful left. “Jamie, really?”
He at least looks appropriately abashed. “You weren’t reaching for them,” he says, tanned shoulders creeping upwards, “and they’re really good! How much restraint am I expected to exercise here? I’ve left you five.”
“I haven’t been reaching for them because I don’t want to get my book sticky.” You pout, exaggerating your distress for what you know it’ll get you in return. “I didn’t expect them to all be gone by the time I was ready.”
“Aw, sweetheart, I could’ve helped you with that.” He picks up a strawberry by its stem, holding it out for you. “Here, open.”
You sigh but tip your mouth open obediently, biting off the tip. Sweet, slightly sun-warmed juice explodes into your mouth.
“That wasn’t hardly a bite at all,” James chides. “Have another.”
You do. “I’m beginning to resent you more now that I know how good these are,” you tell him. The sweet tang lingers on your taste buds even after you’ve swallowed. “We should only get our fruit from that vendor from now on.”
“They clearly know what they’re doing,” he agrees. He gives you another strawberry after the first is finished, musing while you crunch, “Come to think of it, I’m starting to suspect you only pretended not to know what I was writing so I’d give you a back massage.”
You laugh. The thought actually hadn’t occurred to you, though his touch had felt nice moving over your back. “Write me another message, and I’ll let you know.”
James swipes a finger up the length of your spine, laughing when you squirm at the odd tickle. “Would you like me to bring you a glass of lemonade while I’m at it?” he asks.
“Mm, that’s alright. We just need to find some palm fronds for you to fan me with, and I think I’ll be set.”

Ruined Plan
I'm back again! Happy reading and please excuse any inaccuracies in my writing.
Pairing: Harvey Specter x Female Reader
Donna stared at her screen in disbelief and gasped. She closed her eyes and looked at the screen one more time and looked behind her, at her boss’ office. She printed the document on her computer and invited herself into Harvey’s office. She waited in front of Harvey’s desk while he was on the phone. Not long after Harvey hung up the phone and he raised his eyebrows at Donna. “Are you going to say something or are you just gonna stand there looking like fish out of water?” Harvey said as he jolted down something on a document in front of him. “Why didn’t you tell me?” Donna asked him in disbelief. “Tell you that I’m the best closer this town has ever seen? I think the world knows, Donna.” Harvey smirked and looked back down at the document. “If it’s a guessing game, we have to pen it down for another day. As you know, this case has been going on for far too long.” Donna didn't say a thing but instead slid the document she printed just minutes ago. Harvey peeked at the document and asked “Why are you looking through my bank statement?”
Donna rolled her eyes so hard, for a second she was scared it won’t get back. “To make your usual monthly financial report, Harvey. What else?” Harvey waved the page absentmindedly in the air. “And what am I supposed to do with this?” Donna leaned on his desk and pointed to a specific date. “Cartier? That much? On a lunch break?” Donna asked as she straightened herself. “You’re proposing,” Donna said matter of factly. Harvey grinned so wide that it scared Donna. “The thought was just so sudden and I thought why not.” Harvey shrugged. “And why didn’t you ask for my help to pick out the perfect ring?” Donna paced in front of his desk, looking like the world was about to collapse. Again, Harvey just shrugged. “The ring must be here. Show me the ring.” Harvey squinted his eyes at her. “Harvey, I swear to God if you choose not to show me the ring, I’ll turn your office upside down and nothing will stop me.” Harvey put his hands up in defense and retrieved a key inside a little compartment underneath one of his basketball cases and opened a middle drawer in his desk. He carefully took the box and handed it to Donna. With the same care, Donna took the box in her hand. “Let’s see if we can return this ring if it turns out to lo…” Donna said seriously and stopped herself once she opened the box fully. “Well?” Harvey stood up with his hands in his pockets and smirked.
Tumblr media
Donna nodded and grinned “Wow, you’ve outdone yourself. This looks beautiful, simple yet elegant. And jeez, Harvey. Are you trying to blind anyone who looks her way?” Harvey’s smirks grew significantly bigger. “Kinda need to show everyone she’s off the market.” He said proudly and Donna burst into a huge fit of laughter at the prospect of seeing Harvey finally getting married and most importantly, happy. “I know this case is important and you’re swamped. But let’s take 30 minutes to plan the actual proposal. This is a very important matter, Harvey." Donna sat at the chair in front of Harvey’s desk and moved his laptop to face her.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The sound of his own phone startled Harvey. He doesn’t remember when was the last time he looked up from piles upon piles of documents on his desk. He cracked his neck before he moved the documents around to find his phone. Harvey instantly smiled. “If it isn’t the most gorgeous girlfriend a man could ever ask for.” Harvey leaned back in her leather chair as he was immersed in the sound of laughter from the other side of the line. “Flattery won’t bring you anywhere, Mr. Specter.” Harvey smiled “But I’m known for my flattery and charm.” Harvey paused, “Is everything okay?” he suddenly worried as to why she called and it was not even 10 am. “All is well, Commander. Just asking if you could pencil me down for a lunch picnic today?” His heart heaved suddenly, Heaven knows how much he wanted to go and how hard it is to say no to her. But at least she wasn't here to show him the pout. “Oh baby, as much as I love the idea, I’m seriously swamped.” Harvey heard a big sigh and the sound of the fridge door closed. “Still?” he heard her pout. Damn it, Harvey thought. He thought not being with her and not seeing the pout will help. But now, he heard her pout. Great. “Unfortunately, still. I’ll make it up to you. Okay?” Harvey tried to reason with her as he thought of the getaway Donna and him planned earlier and smiled. “No worries, baby. Good luck with your case, okay? Don’t forget to ask Donna to bring you something for lunch. Don’t forget to eat lunch or I’ll send the SWAT team down there to shove a hotdog down your throat.” Harvey laughed heartily at her threat. “I won’t. Gotta go, the DA office called. I love you.” Harvey heard a cheerful I love you as he hung up.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Donna entered Harvey’s office exactly at 1.30 pm. “Your 1.30 appointment is here.” Harvey looked up, bewildered. “What appointment? I told you to clear up my schedule today. I’m busy.” Before Harvey saw her, he already smelled the mixture of vanilla and rose. “Even for me?” she said sweetly as Donna left the room and closed the door behind her. Harvey stood up immediately and walked up to her. “You’re too busy now for me, Mr. Naming Partner?” she smirked as Harvey enveloped her in his embrace. “Don’t worry, I won’t be long. I called Donna and she told me you refused lunch. So I took matters into my own hands and made you lasagna. I’ll only drop this.” she gestured to a lunch bag that he realized just now. “I thought you'd send a SWAT team? You’re damn pretty for I thought would be 10 bulky men.” Harvey said as he gently squeezed her ass and smirked before delicately pecking her lips. “Harvey!” she slapped her hand across his chest. “No fraternizing in the office!” she scolded, face all serious. “You won’t work here until at least another month. You’re here as my girlfriend. And maybe we could make use of the copy room? Or hmm, the file room?” She laughed though he earned another slap across his chest. “I thought you were busy? Come on, eat your lunch.” She separated herself from Harvey’s arms and he involuntarily frowned at the absence of her in his arms. She opened the lunch bag and laid down the food containers on another side of his larger desk for him to eat. “Come, Harvey. You should eat.” she frowned and she called for Harvey. He sat down and now he felt hungry. Between the sight and the smell of this lasagna, he realized that he has been working on an empty stomach. “That ain’t so hard, right?” Harvey nodded, mouth full of food. “Are these the files you've been going through since last night?” she gestured to the ones on the table and a few boxes near his desk. Again, Harvey nodded. “Won’t you eat with me?” He opened the lunch bag to find another lasagna for her. “Meh, I’ve had lunch at home. Thought I will just drop your lunch,” she said as she squatted beside one of the boxes. “I’ll take half of these files. You finished your lunch first.” She took a few boxes with her and brought them to his sofa. “Babe, you don’t have to. You’re not even working here yet, the merger isn’t yet effective. Go out and have a spa day or something. Thank you, but I have it handled.” Harvey said after he gulped a big amount of water. “I won’t have it, Harvey. I’m free to help and I won’t go. Well unless you call the SWAT team." They smirked at each other as she flopped down the sofa and started with the box on the very top. Harvey stared at her as he chowed down the last bit of his lunch. How come he scored such a beauty? She leaned her back, documents opened in front of her, as she pouted while fully concentrating on the task at hand. She folded both legs, hitched her summer dress, and revealed her smooth thighs. What a pretty sight, he thought to himself. Since 3 days ago Mike got sick, this is the first day he felt happy by the news. He looked down at his lunch and something occurred to him so suddenly. He just realized how devoted she is to him. Her bringing him lunch now wasn’t the first time. She’s taking good care of him. They had been together for a tad more than a year now since she was working with her previous firm, been living together for over 7 months now Even when she was busy working, he always got home to dinner. Sometimes even home-cooked lunches brought by herself to his office. The warm baths she always knew he needed without him saying anything. How she knew what to pour him. White, red, whiskey, or bourbon. How all his friends love her. Adore her even. That never really happened with his previous partners.
He had to make her his now. Scratch that, he needed to make her his now. He moved carefully to his desk, as carefully as he could without disturbing her. He took the key and opened the drawer. He checked the box and sighed in relief as he saw the ring still in place.  He sat up straight and fixed his tie before walking up to her. She didn't even bother to look up, thought he must've needed something from one of the boxes she took. It then caught her attention when she saw him standing on one knee. “Harvey?” she looked at him quizzically. He pulled out the red box from his suit jacket and she gasped. She put her legs down, both hands covered her mouth as he opened the box. Exposing the ring. “This is not how I, actually me and Donna, planned it. We were supposed to be in Boboli Garden when I asked you this question. But I can’t wait that long. You are my life and I never loved anyone as much as I love you. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. Marry me.” Harvey looked at her sincerely and his eyes glistened. “Yes” her voice was just above a whisper. “Yes yes yes! An infinite amount of yes!!” She shrieked. Harvey smiled widely as he slid the ring down her slender finger. She put up her hand and admired the ring “Goodness, this is beautiful.” Harvey wrapped his arms around her waist and brought her up with him before spinning her around. Harvey stopped, her feet still hadn't touched the ground. Their foreheads touched as they grinned at each other. “I love you so much” she whispered as she closed their distance. “Not even in a proposal will Harvey Specter ask” Both of them laugh, as they kiss again. They separated in shock as Donna swung open the door so hard. She inspected the sight before her and screamed “HARVEY HOW COULD YOU PROPOSE TO HER IN YOUR OWN OFFICE?!?! WE'VE MADE A PLAN!”

“No, babe, it’s online, you can watch it, and can you tell Chris to watch it? I’m excited, I know he’s not happy about it, but, I am,” Claire’s voice is obfuscated by the chatter in the background, “This is a big deal for me, I mean—“ She cuts herself off, voice distant, “Oh, yes— No, not at all, it’s lovely to meet you—“
Beep!
You blink at your phone. She hung up on you. Granted, she’s been one busy bee so you let her off. For now. You shoot a message to Chris, tell him that as Claire said, this means a lot to her, and as tight as he is with the Kennedys, that she’s his sister, she should come first. You’re well aware that he knows that, that he wouldn’t dare put anyone above his sister, she’s at the centre of his world - it’s just for good measure.
The interview is lengthy, you suppress a groan because really you should very much be interested in the state of current affairs. And this is Claire’s line of work, and Claire is your girlfriend, and you should support her in her endeavours. Clicking on the link she’s forwarded opens up a grayscale website. The first video is President Kennedy in all his glory, which is not a lot of glory to be quite frank. He’s an eyesore to you. Like, that chin? Seriously? He should consider some sort of medical procedure, you don’t know if that’s a thing, but you know a girl who got her cleft lip fixed, so why not the chin?
Most of the video is full to the brim with political jargon that you fail to understand. Completely different language. Could understand Morse code better than this.
Skip, skip, skip.
“The issue with Penamstan? I hate to be rude, Mr. Kennedy,” No, she does not, Claire loves to be rude, “But do you know where that is on a map?” Claire, always straight to the point.
“I know all the stans,” President Kennedy smiles, charming and stupidly stupid all at once. He’s kind of cute when he smiles. It’s really just that chin. Very American though, you’ll give it to him. Named Kennedy too? America loves a Kennedy, he had it easy.
“What?” Not even an excuse me.
“Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Penamstan… The, uh, more forgettable stans,” He trails off, taken off guard by a woman in a pantsuit leaning down to talk to him, a hand cupped over her mouth, he blinks up at her slowly, “Uz-beki-stan,” President Kennedy sounds out as if the word is foreign on his tongue, and it is, so incredibly foreign, “Turk… Turkmenistan, and Penamstan, of course.”
That’s all you needed to know he has the brain density of a wafer. Was the most interesting part though. He would’ve made a good stripper or a boy-toy, you think. Instead, he’s being marketed as this all-encompassing package of a man, which he is not.
Skip, skip, skip.
Penamstan— Foreign Policy— Penamstan— Voting— Penamstan— Radicalisation— Terrorism— Your predecessor, Graham— Sexual relations— Gaffe—
You pause, rewind a minute or so back. Sexual relations. This is what you’re into. No idea who Monica Lewinsky is, know all about the dress though.
“You’ve heard of the accusations, yes?” Claire frowns so much like Chris you have to turn away.
President Kennedy’s lack of jaw tightens, and it’s the first time you’ve seen him behave so offstandish in the fourteen minutes you’ve ever seen of him. “Yes.”
“You didn’t like that,” Claire notes, her lip twitching upwards.
“Didn’t know we had a psychologist with us today,” His lips are stretched thin into a smile that resembles a grimace more than anything. There’s scattered laughter, and the lady beside him, poised as ever, taps him on the shoulder. “My apologies,” He straightens up immediately, “Ask away.”
“Thank you,” She responds coolly when she is anything but, “You- I mean you have to admit that it’s strange to behave that way with your daughter of all people, otherwise there wouldn’t be accusations in the first place,” Claire challenges him with a tilt of her head, he mirrors it.
The lady taps his shoulder once more, leans down once more, whispers conspicuously, they nod to each other. A gesture to someone behind the camera is made, and then, much to Claire’s clear dismay: “We’re sorry to cut this short—“
The video ends, and the opening frame pops up once more. Huh. So President Kennedy is tonguing his daughter on the side. Maybe you need to pay more attention to things that are actually important, or you need to listen to Claire more often unless she’s failed to mention the most interesting part of whatever case she’s building. As far as you’re concerned, if voting doesn’t go in the red, you’re fine. Claire says being a centrist is the worst thing you can be, it’s just that you’ve got your own shit to worry about. Work, college, Claire, family. It takes up your life. You pitch in to vote for whoever’s democratic, watch the descent into chaos and forget about it in a week as most do, an attempt to forget the state of the country.
You wonder what she looks like. His daughter. If it’s worth risking the presidency over incest she must be a cutie. And she is indeed, cute like a teacup terrier, you can see why he’d be balls deep— but that is purely because you’re a bit of a horndog. Harvard Law School, a privilege you’re sure, girl looks like a total ditz. Barbie doll legs, the palest of blondes, and her smile is adorable. Not like her father’s smarmy one in the slightest, sweet and genuine for a girl whose teeth look done. Braces? Veneers? Not a single gap between them, not a single one out of place, not a single one is coffee stained.
The headlines pretty much say the thing. Kennedy fucks his daughter. Kennedy said she reminds him of Marilyn, so what does that make him if he’s a Kennedy? Truly, they harp on about it with no proof, apart from that photo of them too close for comfort— And the other one where they’re too close for comfort— And the last one where they’re too close for comfort.
Claire returns in the early hours of the morning, her jacket squeaks when she takes it off, hanging it the back of the vanity chair. She gets into bed, touches your hand to check if you're awake, her eyes sparkle even in the dark when she asks, “Did you see it?”
“Mhm,” You pinch her doughy cheek when she grins, “I’m so proud of you.”
“Thank you,” Claire says, head dipping to rest in the hollow of your neck, “I got cut off at the last minute.”
“I saw… He got touchy about the daughter-fucker thing.”
“He always does,” She huffs out air through her nose, “Only people who fuck their daughters get defensive when people accuse them of fucking their daughters. Oh, and his wife, she doesn’t go to a single event, it’s always Ashley, Ashley, Ashley— it’s so fucking strange.”
“True,” Your fingers slip beneath the loops of her hair tie, loosening her ponytail, sometimes you fear it’ll come off clean with how tight she makes it. It’s like Claire’s intention is to recede her hairline on purpose. “What can you do though, right?”
Her lack of response is eerie, you pass it off as her falling asleep. She’s had a long day, an exciting one at that, Claire’s likely just crashing. So you kiss her head, let her nestle into your chest, the spot where she’s most comfortable.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Giving your girlfriend the benefit of the doubt when she’s putting you up to the most outrageous scheme quite possibly ever is hard. “I have work, Claire.”
“Work can wait, babe, this is seriously important, it means a lot for America’s future,” Ugh, you don’t like when she talks like that. Sounds like a propaganda poster come to life.
“I don’t care about America’s future, I care about mine, babe, I care about ours, I don’t think Kennedy fucking his kid has anything to do with America’s future.”
“Babe, America’s future is our future,” She insists, “I won’t ask of you ever again,” Claire clasps her hands together, kneels in front of you as if you’re in fresco on the ceiling of a half-painted chapel, as if Claire Redfield, famous and outspoken atheist activist is the most pious woman to set foot in the USA.
“I have work, I have to get ready, I don’t have time for this.”
“See, this is what I mean, you’re so—“ Before her frustration reaches its boiling point, you watch Claire mouth the words one, two, three and onwards to fifteen. “Baby, darling,” She cups your cheeks, “This would mean the world to me when I say I would never bother you again with my shit, I promise. Pinky swear.”
“Don’t call me darling,” You wriggle out of her grip, “I can’t risk another day off, Claire.”
“There’s an opening in the office,” She offers, “It’s not much, but it’s better than what you’re doing now.”
“How so?” Your interest is piqued.
“Desk job,” Claire shrugs, “It’s easy, babe, you’re smart, too smart for retail.”
“I am too smart for retail,” You agree with a sigh, it keeps you on your feet all day, then you end up blowing your paycheck on pedicures.
“You are,” She coos, kissing the back of your hand as if you’re the most delicate thing since butterflies, “And you’ll do so well, that’s why I want you to do it, babe, ‘cause I just know you’re the only one who could do it,” Flattery does get Claire somewhere, it gets her in your good books, “The, uh, you don’t mind the, uh, y’know, incest part.”
“He’s not my dad, she’s not my sister.” Detaching yourself from the incestuous element would be best, you don’t know if you have a strong enough stomach to handle it in any other way.
Tumblr media
“You can’t kiss me,” Claire frowns, her professional face on, “From now on, we can’t be seen with each other, okay?”
“Babe,” You pout, she scowls, “You look so good tonight, I don’t want to leave you.” The notched lapels of her suit make her shoulders look broader, you want to drag your nails over the cashmere, over her tender skin.
“Your name is on the guest list,” Your alias, she means, you don’t know how she did it, but Claire manages to manage, “Please…” Don’t fuck this up for me, you assume, “Good luck, okay?”
The security process is tedious, they drone on and on about a topic in which you have no knowledge, they pat you down— Should they be doing this to someone who might be an esteemed guest?
You pass through, the crowd is full of beautiful girls with made-up faces and dark ringlets and dresses like wedding cakes. There’s less than savoury men. She doesn’t stand out in a crowd like this, but you spot her anyway. Nobody in their right mind would wear that shade of orange. Ashley Kennedy, according to your girlfriend, is fucking her father, and so she is clinically and mentally and psychically and biologically and any other ally insane. So, yes, she would wear rust orange proudly, she would go out of her way to purchase a floor-length evening gown in that exact colour. Just to prove that, yes, she is indeed fucking her dad. Would calling it quits at this very moment be justifiable to Claire? Would your reasoning be enough to accuse a girl of fucking her father?
To your utter astonishment, both Mrs and Miss Kennedy approach you first, both as in Ashley. As she is both his wife and daughter if Claire’s deduction is correct.
“Hi,” Ashley’s smile is as perfect as it was in the tabloids, her skin is dewy, and her lashes light with no attempt to darken them. It would look unnatural.
“Hi,” You grin back at her, focus on the pendant that swings low, a silver eagle that sits cushdy between her perky tits.
“Daddy told me I had to—“ Her face drops for a split second, “Oops,” She covers her mouth, swallows back a nervous giggle, “Dad told me I had to socialise, make connections,” She imitates his formalities, “Oh, gosh, I am totally being so rude right now!” Ashley waves her hands at you, “My daddy- Dad is the president, sorry to come onto you like that like you were supposed to know, gosh, I’m Ashley by the way.”
“I know,” You take her hand in yours when she offers it, squeeze it warmly, “Don’t sweat it, I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t know you.”
“Right, right, I guess that’s true,” She hiccups, “Sorry, god, champagne, I’m so new to drinking, I really don’t think it’s for me.” This girl is making it too easy for you.
“You just haven’t tried the right one, I love your dress by the way, colour brings out your eyes.” Like how grass brings out the pumpkins on a pumpkin patch.
“Oh my goodness, thank you!” Ashley follows after you, lost and clinging to the person she has deemed friendliest.
“Have you ever had a French martini?”
“Oh, no, what’s that? It sounds exotic.” She’s bubbly, excitable, so sweet you almost feel bad setting her up like this.
“Do you like pineapple?”
Ashley ponders, “Only juice, eating pineapple eats at my tongue, I totally know that’s what it does, but still it feels so weird.”
“You’ll like this then.” You assure her, and she bobs her head up and down in agreement, her trust for you is unconditional within five minutes flat. Claire deserved that spot at Harvard.
“There’s vodka in it,” She hums, “Daddy,” Her third slip-up of the night, “Dad doesn’t even let me near vodka.”
“Really?” You raise a brow, then your glass and she does the same.
“Never, he sucks when it comes to me doing, like, adult things,” Her nose twitches at the first sip, she reminds you of a bunny, an energiser bunny.
“Like what?”
“Drinking, driving, partying,” Ashley lists off, “He’s okay, but he’s protective, I know it comes with, like, president’s daughter territory, it just totally sucks!”
Drinking, driving, partying— Dad doesn’t mind when she’s doing adult things like sucking his dick though. That’s not a problem!
“I like you,” Ashley says, two French martinis and one cosmopolitan in, “You’re so fun, I don’t really get to meet people other than, like, the one daddy introduces me to. Don’t get me wrong, I get it, I’m privileged so I talk to privileged people, but they’re so…”
“Stuck up,” You finish for her, “I didn’t expect you to be so sweet.”
“Oh, I can see why, I get it, I’m not offended or anything,” She sighs softly, gazes at the chandelier as if she longs for more than ball gowns and Havard and spending her days shifting idly through the clothing racks at Dolce & Gabbana while her daddy lounges on the chaise chairs. “I just think you’re so down to earth,” Poor thing, it’s a shame she’s fucking her dad, you hope to uncover an entirely different truth, that they’re close and it’s nothing more, “Who did you come with by the way?”
“I’m a plus one,” You knock back your drink, grip tightening on the glass, “No one important, just lucky, I guess.”
“Huh,” Ashley takes in your words, she nods, another drink slips down easily, and by the end of it, she is clinging to your arm like you mean the world to her, “You should sooo come back to my room!” Her words slur until her sentence is more of a single word, “We could have fun,” Whether she’s soliciting sex or she wants your company, you don’t mind, “Me and daddy are staying here tonight.”
“Really?” You ask, as if Claire hadn’t briefed you on the room number prior to this, “Then I guess I wouldn’t mind coming.”
“Yay!” Her security detail emerge from the crowd, and you’re dumb for not having noticed them beforehand, but what Ashley says goes. “Gosh, you don’t have to tell, daddy, he’s busy right now. No, we’ll be fine, you can leave us to it, when daddy’s done then he’ll come up.”
An elevator ride up and up and up to the top floor, through the stretch of hall to the finest suite. Ashley is high energy, for a lack of better words, she is tiring. She kicks off her heels, still stands tall, modelesque in shape. Boyish hips jutting out of her square torso. The key card is left on the side when she’s not paying attention, which luckily for you is most of the time, you slide it beneath the door frame and shoot a text to Claire who is hovering nearby. A minute later, she confirms her success.
“Ugh, I was so over it,” Ashley groans, “Do you mind helping me out of this?”
“Of course not,” You say smoothly, wondering if this is an invitation to something more. The silk of her dress is made by the wealthiest of silkworms, just as you get your hands on her, the door unlocks.
“Ashley,” President Kennedy is panting like he ran up all twenty-nine flights of stairs at the Fairmont, “Princess, you worried me.”
“Daddy, you scared me, you scared us,” She gasps, he’s swift in his steps, tips her chin upwards as if he’s checking for damage on her angel face, he thumbs her smeared lipstick.
“Did you kiss… Did you?” Kennedy’s eyes flit from your lips to Ashley’s, you wonder why he’s so wound up about a kiss, must be the incest. Her lipstick is smeared on the rim of her martini glass, not your lips.
“What? Daddy, no, don’t be silly, not yet at least,” She makes her intentions clear, “I thought you were busy, daddy.”
“Ashley, I’m not too busy for you, I have things to oversee, but…”
As your father, I have to oversee your sex life, Ashley! I demand to watch!
“But, what?” Ashley cocks her head to the side, her hands running along the shape of his shoulders, then downwards over his chest.
“You’re more important, you know that.” Kennedy strokes her head, she bats her lashes at him, they’re barely visible so it’s more a flurry of blinks.
“Oh, daddy, you’re so sweet,” She giggles, puckers her lips and the sentiment is shared between them— They kiss like lovers do, dirtier than you and Claire. Unaffected, Ashley looks over his shoulder at you, “We can still have fun,” She promises, “Daddy can just watch, won’t you?”
Jesus Christ. Now that you’re actually faced with it. Incest in the flesh. It’s nerve-wracking. How is one meant to digest incest?
“Ashley, I don’t watch you catching anything nasty,” He tries to be discreet, you hear him loud and clear.
“Daddy,” She scolds, hitting his chest. He shucks off his suit jacket, laying it out on the back of the chair adjacent to the Alaskan king bed that could fit a family of five let alone the three of you. He sits, stares at you with his glassy eyes. President Kennedy is handsome in real life, you kind of get the appeal now, the camera does add ten pounds, ages him by ten years too apparently. There is something about him that is effortlessly masculine yet soft, sweet almost.
Ashley’s dress comes off next, she cares little for the way it is left wrinkled on the ground, her hand finds its way between your thighs. She’s not inexperienced. She knows her way around your body like she would her father’s. Her fingers are long and slim, nimble when the pads come to ghost your clit, lifting back the hood to press her thumb into it.
Instinctively, your hips buck into her hand, she kisses you, smiling into your mouth. Claire is at the forefront of your mind, she’d given you the permission to do this, but it feels wrong still. The incest feels even worse. You’ve been trying to ignore it so far, pretend it’s just Ashley here. Ashley’s lips on yours, her fingers in your cunt, her tits pressed flush to your chest— His eyes are so blue.
Ashley scissors you open with two fingers, you suck on her tit, both of you tangled up within each other. Pulling off with a pop, she takes out her fingers and you’re left empty. You taste yourself on her tongue, on her fingers and grow sick of it.
“C’mere,” You take the pillow that’s propped up against the headboard and slot it underneath her hips to keep ‘em raised. Ashley’s cunt is perfect like the rest of her. You wonder if there are procedures to get it this pink, her labia pokes out past her parted pussy lips as does her swollen clit, you give a tentative lick to her cunt, unsure of how she likes it. Claire likes it messy, but Ashley’s rich, she might like it classy. You could eat pussy classy if you tried hard enough.
She lies back, her head sunken into the mass of pillows - the one you had taken barely left a dent in the pile, her tits are small but round and her nipples are pointed and as pink as her pussy. Ashley takes initiative, daddy’s been giving it to her real sloppy it seems, ‘cause she pushes your face into it. Your nose bumps her clit and she sighs sweetly when your tongue works its merry way up her slit, from her slick hole to her twitching bud that you pay extra special attention to. It deserves it, pretty like a pearl, wrap your lips around it and suck till her thighs close around your head.
“Outta the way,” Mr. President, fully clothed, cock hard straining in his slacks, takes Ashley’s leg and spreads her further, “Keep it there for daddy, princess.”
When you lift your head out of pure curiosity, he kisses you, jams his tongue into your mouth to taste you like your tongue wasn’t just jammed in his daughter’s cunt. His daughter who is spread-eagle on the bed for The United States of America. Though, from the way they’re behaving, Ashley is a renowned patriot, this isn’t her first time confessing her love for all things red, white, and blue. And rust orange.
Dumbfounded by his takeover of the pussy you were having so much fun eating, you crawl back over to Ashley while daddy blows raspberries on her clit, spits on the First Daughter’s, his first daughter’s, cunt like she’s a corner whore.
“Daddy,” Ashley moans, she’s unabashed, grabs his hair and forces him deeper, she tells you to suck on her tits, she’s bossy when it comes to sex. Mastered the art of fucking.
“I’ve got you, princess,” Her daddy says, he can talk while he’s eating it, impressive if you do say so yourself. The most you can do is go down on Claire till you get lightheaded, breathing is out of the question.
She cums sweetly because there is no other way in which Ashley can behave. The blood that runs through her is inherently sweet unlike her father’s. Mr. Kennedy slurps away even as she jolts due to aftershocks, he’s intent on drying her out.
When he does decide to join the two of you above, it’s to press kisses into Ashley’s neck, to sniff her perfume, “Good girl,” He praises, “Daddy’s good girl.” Those lines sound like something out of a cheap porno. Hard to believe that it’s real. That you seriously just sat there and got cucked by Ashley’s father.
“Thank you, daddy,” Ashley giggles, stroking through his dark hair as he suckles on her nipple, spit stringy on his lips and her breast when he pulls back. “No, not me,” She refuses when he, with his slacks mid-thigh, presses his cock to her inner thigh, “I want to watch you, daddy.”
See, you’ve taken dick, you take Claire’s silicone dick often. Taking presidential dick, it’s new to you. Presidential dick that could’ve possibly at any time today been lodged inside his little girl, meaning you’re being double dicked not only by a presidential cock, but an incestuous one. It’s fat, browner than it is pink, uncut, the tip is leaky like nobody’s business.
“Aw, oh my gosh,” Ashley coos, “Don’t be scared, you’ve got this!” Your nerves don’t stem from taking his mediocre, prized dick, but from everything else about this situation. “Daddy’s good at it, it never hurts.” She holds your hand, brings it to her lips to kiss, fluffs the pillows and peppers kisses all over your face as President Kennedy, a man of assumed integrity pushes your legs to your chest.
His cock rubs up and down your cunt, catches on your clit, the fat tip is sucked into your stretched hole and inch by inch he forces his way into your hole. With each inch, not that there’s many, it gets thicker, till the base is engulfed into your greedy pussy. Ashley wipes the sweat from your brow, “Isn’t it good?” She gushes, “Daddy’s just the best, I don’t think I could ever be with anyone else, he’s just so good at it, isn’t he?” In response to her blabbing, you can only whimper, giving a quick bob of your head to satisfy her.
Inside of you, each vein embeds itself into your walls, the head jabs at your cervix painfully, and most of all it feels stupidly good. His cock is thick and sturdy like all good dicks should be. And he’s fucking you like he hates you. Which he does. Deep, hard, slow and nasty.
“Is it good, daddy?” Ashley asks innocently enough, her hand rests on your tummy, grows bored and trails lower to flick at your clit.
“Not as good as you, princess, never,” Comes his instant answer. You take offence to this and clench around him so tight he groans and his head drops to your neck, lips on your collarbone. There’s a sticky sound each time he draws his hips back and pushes in, you’re dripping for Ashley, for him— You don’t know anymore, head so clouded you’ve let the incest slip.
“Aw, daddy!” She places a hand over her heart, then she’s back to pinching your clit between her fingers, forcing you to unravel.
His thrusts are deliberate, mean, and he fucks you like it’s all your fault. As if he doesn’t get to hump Ashley at all times of the day. The squelch of your cunt is embarrassing enough for you to be over and done with, each stroke is a hit on your ego and on your cervix, the latter being a more delicious hit, but a hit nonetheless. When he cums, he does it on your stomach in white, watery ropes, and it pools in your belly button as you writhe with the immense pleasure he and his disgusting cock have bought you. Ashley’s bony fingers helped to some degree.
“Is it my turn now?” Ashley perks up when her dad kisses her all sloppy on the mouth, spit and drool included.
“Give daddy a minute, princess, I can’t keep up with you,” He chuckles, pats her head, they’ve started their incestuously affectionate display, so you cover yourself up and shoot Claire a second message while they begin to act lovey-dovey in bed. Let their guard down, and you hate to do this to such a lovely girl, but your girlfriend is an even lovelier girl.
Soon enough, she and the gaggle of reporters burst through the doors, flashing cameras in hand. Ashley was foolish for letting off her security detail for the night, President Kennedy is the bigger fool, and Claire, well, you’ve never seen her smile so big.

PDA - Zoro Imagine
Tumblr media
Pairing: Roronoa Zoro x Reader
Spoilers for One Piece (?), also kinda NSFW?
Summary: Zoro showing a lot of PDA in front of Sanji because he knows it bothers him
Requests are closed
A/N: Unofficial sequel to Cardio. But works as a stand alone.
************************************************************************
"(Y/N)-san! I'm sorry I left you alone on this ship with this pervert! I promise I'll make it up to you"
"What did you just call me, ero-cook?"
"You heard me! If you just as much as put a single finger on (Y/N)-san I'll make you regret it"
"Sorry, to disappoint you, but I did a little more than that", Zoro laughed.
It's been a few weeks since the crew barged in on Zoro and (Y/N). Nothing really changed between them. (Y/N) was still shamelessly flirting with the mosshead and Zoro didn't really reciprocate - at least not in public. He was never the type for public displays of affection but when the two of them were alone, the swordfighter didn't have any problem to show the girl how much he enjoyed her company.
"You looked so good today", he mumbled against her lips.
"So usually I look bad?", she grinned - her smart mouth getting the best of her again.
"Too bad you still don't have a filter", he rolled his eye but didn't loosen his grip around her waist.
"But you love me for it", she laughed.
He exhaled audibly but didn't protest.
The two of them decided not to complicate things. They'd rather just let the relationship progress naturally. For the moment, neither of them would change a thing being happy with the way things were.
************************************************************************
"It's so nice to finally have some free time again", Nami sighed - already excited for a long overdue shopping trip.
"We shouldn't leave the ship unattended", (Y/N) nudged Zoro in the side not really caring about exposing her true intentions. She knew that her lover would be up for some alone time - which was confirmed by the smile that the swordsman failed to keep off of his face.
But it was not only (Y/N) that noticed. The mosshead's smile didn't go unnoticed by a certain curly-browed cook either.
"I'll be keeping you company, (Y/N)-san! There are a few new creations that I wanted to test out anyways", Sanji exclaimed.
(Y/N) was just about to protest when Nami's voice cut her off, "Yeah, that's probably a great idea. These two need a chaperone! We don't need any little Zoros and (Y/N)s running around deck!"
(Y/N) pulled a face, "Seriously? Sex has never ever sounded so unappealing"
"And don't you forget it!", the read-head scolded, "Always think about the full diapers and the disrupted night sleep"
(Y/N) tried to drown Nami's words out by putting her hands over her ears and singing loudly.
However, it wasn't just (Y/N) who had a problem with the thought. Zoro's eye darted over to where Sanji was standing. It was almost unnoticable but for the fraction of a second the cook's face twitched when Nami started her rant. At this moment, the swordsman got an idea to still make the afternoon worthwhile.
"Can we go now?", their captain interrupted the discussion - eager to raid the market place for street food.
Zoro threw his arm around a confused (Y/N)'s shoulder. This was the first time that her lover actually touched her in front of the others. Before she could say anything though, Zoro spoke up, "Yeah, you guys leave and we'll hold the fort here. Right, babe?"
"Uh, yeah sure...", (Y/N) blushed at the little nickname.
And with that the crew parted ways. (Y/N), Zoro and Sanji remaining on the ship while the rest of the crew made their way towards the city.
"So, it's just us now, huh?", (Y/N) tried to overcome the awkwardness. Spending a whole afternoon on the ship together with these two didn't seem very appealing to her. But surprisingly these two mortal enemies weren't at each other's throats immediately.
"Well, since our plans have been so rudely interrupted", the mosshead turned towards the cook, "Why don't we squeeze in a training session?", Zoro asked his girlfriend - his voice almost soft. After hours and hours of asking, (Y/N) had finally worn down the swordfighter. So, lately Zoro agreed to let the girl join him during practice. On one hand, her constant pleading got on his nerves so that he partly agreed just to shut her up. On the other hand, though, training with her meant he got to spend time with her. To him, she looked adorable as she was trying to figure out the steps and maneuvers. And if she ever needed correction with her stance, he wouldn't complain either.
"I'd say you're welcome to join us, waiter. But I don't think you could handle it anyways", Zoro mocked the blonde. And of course Zoro's words had the desired effect as the cook immediately started cussing out the mosshead - swearing to make him look old in any type of training.
(Y/N) rolled her eyes. Of course, the peace didn't last long, "Oi, Sanji? Didn't you actually want to try out some new recipes or something?"
She didn't mind the cook's company but she knew if Sanji and Zoro were to actually train together, their competition would be anything but friendly and she didn't feel like a headache today. To her surprise, Zoro just shrugged though, "You can try, ero-cook"
And with that the three of them started their work-out. Almost provocatively Zoro took off his robe, showing off his body and sending (Y/N) a cheeky wink. He knew the effect he had on the girl.
"We should start with some stretching first", he announced - his arm already behind his back.
(Y/N) decided to get on the floor, working on her lower body first, whilst Sanji was bent over easily touching his toes without any issue.
"(Y/N)-san, you're so flexible~", the cook complimented the girl.
"Hm, I don't know. I think she could do better", Zoro acted thoughtful, as he walked over to where (Y/N) was standing, trying to reach her toes aswell. Her fingertips just graced the floorboards but that wasn't enough for the swordsman. He positioned himself behind her, his crotch dangerously close to her backside. With a gentle hand he pressed down on her lower back to help her bend over even further, so that her palms fully touched the ground.
With a soothing voice, her lover praised her and while (Y/N) enjoyed the personal attention, she'd be lying if she said that she wasn't confused. She wasn't used to him being so gentle with her when other people were around. What she didn't see from her bend over position however, was the look Zoro and Sanji exchanged. The mosshead sent the other man a gloating smile, which only got wider as he saw how blonde struggled to keep his composure.
"Oi, Marimo! When you're finished harassing, (Y/N)-san, how about a sparring session?", there was nothing he wanted to do more than to beat up the brute that dared to lay his calloused fingers on a lady. The cook was of the opinion that a beautiful woman should only be touched in the most gentle way - a word the marimo probably didn't even know.
Zoro barked out a laugh - (Y/N) long forgotten. Fighting with the ero-cook was one of his favourite past-times.
(Y/N) knew there was no way her lover would continue their practice anymore. Instead she decided to just keep exercising on her own and to leave the two guys to it - not feeling like getting into the path of fire.
After an hour or so, the two of them didn't show any sign of slowing down but the girl decided she had enough, "Hey guys? Guys? Oi!"(Y/N) clapped into her hands loudly to get the two frenemies' attention. Almost immediately the men stopped what they were doing.
"While I do enjoy watching two handsome men exhaust themselves physically", she sent Zoro a wink, "I think this is enough. I'll go take a shower and afterwards we should probably get started on dinner. You know how hangry Luffy can get"
"Of course, (Y/N)-san~", the cook was delighted by her compliment, "I'll create the most exquisite menu just for you"
The girl thanked her friend, by now she gave up on the idea of convincing the blonde that he didn't have to do all that. It seemed to make him happy, so she just decided to enjoy the perks of having the talented cook at her service.
"Great, while you do that, we'll go take that shower", Zoro spoke up.
(Y/N) head whipped around to face the mosshead, who could barely hold back a smile. He, however, wasn't facing her at all. His smile was not directed at her and her surprised reaction but rather at Sanji, who by the looks of it was not amused about his suggestion at all. (Y/N) massaged the bridge of her nose in no mood for these two to start fighting again.
"Okay, we'll do that", she grabbed Zoro's hand and pulled him with her. However, Zoro had other ideas. While (Y/N) was walking in front of him the swordsman's hands reached out to pinch the girl's sides teasingly which earned him a surprised yelp from his lover.
"Oi, idiot! Who do you think you are? Leave your dirty hands off of (Y/N)-san!", Sanji yelled towards the couple.
"Oh, does it bother you?", Zoro yelled back, "Good thing, (Y/N) likes it"
"(Y/N)-san! Just say a word and I'll save you from this... this... pervert!", Sanji's voice was soft as he adressed the girl but grew harsher towards the end - his dig clearly directed towards the marimo.
"Thank you, Sanji, I'll keep it in mind!", she yelled back at her friend as she tried to usher Zoro, who was loudly protesting the cook's claims -inside the Sunny towards the bathroom.
Once inside, (Y/N) let out an exasperated sigh, this isn't how she expected her afternoon to go. Zoro, however, didn't waste any time attacking her lips with his own. His hands everywhere they could reach.
"Oi, you okay?", Zoro asked almost nonchalantly when he realized that (Y/N) hesitated to return the kiss - as if he wasn't the cause of her desperation.
"Respectfully, what the fuck?", (Y/N) answered the mosshead.
"Huh?"
"I mean, I'm not complaining but how come you're so touchy-feely all of a sudden? And let me repeat. I'm not complaining. At all. It's just... unusual is all...", she rambled - not wanting Zoro to feel like he crossed a line.
"Oh, that", he smiled, "I noticed PDA bothers that shitty cook, so naturally I had to play it up"
"Of course", (Y/N)'s voice was sarcastic.
"Are you mad?", the swordfighter acted unbothered - like he couldn't see how that could possibly offend the girl - but in actuality he was worried that he took things a step too far. He knew she was okay with their arrangement. He know that it didn't bother her that he only showed affection towards her when the two of them were alone. She once told him that it made it even more special. But would she be okay with him suddenly publicly flirting with her just to spite the shitty cook? His eye scanned her face, searching for any sign of hurt. He couldn't always show it but he cared about (Y/N) a lot - more than anyone else in the crew.
(Y/N)'s face turned soft when she realized that the man in front of her was actually insecure. She reached out to cup his face and press a gentle kiss on his lips. When they parted, he was relieved to see her smile.
"Of course, I'm not mad! In fact, I think it's hilarious... if anything I'm mad that you didn't fill me in on it", she grinned, "If I had known, I'd have enjoyed it more"
"Oh, so now you didn't enjoy it?", this time it was him, that teased the girl with a lopsided smile on his face.
"I did! I really did! But my confusion kind of overshadowed the pleasure", she tried to assure him.
"Don't you worry", he started to undress her, "I'll take care of that"
His hands were gentle as he pulled her towards him by the small of her back.
"Who do you think you are? Touching me with those calloused hands", she scolded him. He paused what he was doing until she finally broke into a giggle.
"I can always count on you to ruin the moment", he sighed when he realized what she was up to. Quoting the ero-cook was the last thing he wanted from her.
"But you love me for it", she smiled up at him.
"Shut up", he leaned down to capture her lips in a kiss before leading her into the shower.
************************************************************************
When the two entered the dining room after the shower, the kitchen was already filled with the steam from whatever the cook was preparing. The two were greeted with the most delicious of smells. (Y/N) sometimes seriously asked herself how the cook could be this good and still improve with every meal he prepared.
"Wow, Sanji this smells great!", she beamed at the blonde, who by the looks of it couldn't be any more pleased about the praise. After all, the way to a loved one's heart is through their stomach.
"And this is only the beginning (Y/N)-san", the cook explained happily - hinting that there'd be more to come.
"Is there anything I can help you with?", she asked the cook, knowing he'd probably decline.
"You are too kind, (Y/N)-san ~ ! But I couldn't possibly take you up on your offer. A beautiful lady like you should never have to prepare her own food - in fact, you should be served~"
"Oh, but I insist", (Y/N) smiled. Anybody that knew her also knew how stubborn she could be, so after a little back and forth Sanji eventually agreed to let (Y/N) stirr some pots and maybe even wash some vegetables.
Zoro decided to take a seat at the dinner table, watching the two of them do their thing whilst enjoying a drink. He would never admit it but watching (Y/N) do mundane tasks was one his favourite things. He loved seeing her being lost in whatever she was doing. The way her brows creased whenever she was concentrated or how she started mumbling to herself if things didn't go her way. This was more than a innocent flirt and even more than a friends with benefits type of arrangement - at least for him. Her company was one of the few pleasures his life had to offer. At first he was annoyed by her everlasting presence, the way she wouldn't shut up, the constant flirts but now he couldn't imagine a life without her. He was so lost in his thoughts that he wasn't even bothered by the shitty cook prancing around her.
One after the other all the Straw Hats arrived into the dining area - just in time for dinner. As everyone gathered around the table, the space next to Zoro remained free. By now, the crew was used to (Y/N) exclusively sitting next to the swordsman. When she finally plopped down next to him, her hand almost automatically found it's way to rest on her lovers leg. Zoro didn't seem to mind the PDA. Usually, the girl refrained from touching the mosshead while in the company of the others - respecting his boundaries - instead only choosing to show her affection verbally. But right now, she decided it was fair game after the stunt the swordsman pulled on her.
"And what do you think you're doing?", Zoro leaned down, speaking lowly so that only she could hear him. (Y/N) could hear the amusement in his voice.
"Do you want me to stop?", she turned to face him - their faces now merely an inch apart.
For a moment it felt like the world stood still around them but then the two lovebirds were interrupted by their navigator.
"Come on, guys! At dinner?", Nami was not amused about the scene that unfolded before her very eyes.
"Seems like Sanji isn't the only one bothered by PDA", (Y/N) grinned but her voice was soft.
"Well, if that's the case, it seems like I'll have to keep this going", Zoro answered - his voice just as low.
Both of them knew that all of this may have started as a means to annoy the cook but by now it was merely an excuse to keep the open display of affection going. Seeing (Y/N) in private was just not enough for him anymore. What harm could a little - just a little - PDA do anyways?
"The things you do to me", he slowly shook his head.
"But you love me for it"
Usually, Zoro easily dismissed her little catchphrase but this time he couldn't quite deny it. Maybe he did. And maybe she knew that. But maybe that wasn't so bad...

After I finished reading The Epic of Gilgamesh today, I entered a fugue state where I sat down and read the entirety of Alanna: The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce.
On the record, I have had a lifelong love and adoration for Pierce's Tortall books. I first read the Song of the Lioness quartet when I was 11, and they rewrote my brain. I love them so much. I reread them and the other Tortall books on a semi-frequent schedule.
It's been a while since I reread any of the Alanna books, if only because my sister took our shared copies when she moved out. I've been meaning to buy my own set for a long while now but haven't been able to justify the purchase. The other week, I just so happened to find the first two volumes at my local indie bookstore. I bought them immediately, as well as ordered the third and fourth book. (And discovered that the store owner knows me by name-- when I went to pick up my order, she saw me and said, Hi Frankie! I got your books over here.) (I may be spending too much money there.)
So I have been in a bit of an emotional rut these past few weeks. Work sucks. Life stinks. The temptation to run off to Tortall and curl up in the fantasy story that captivated me as a kid has never been stronger.
Ergo, I ran off to read the first book as soon as I could.
If you're looking for any critique of this book, series, or Tortall in general, I will never give it. Sure, it's problematic and dated, and in many ways imperfect, but someone else can list out all of its issues. They're all perfect to me.
Anyway, the book. I should say something about this book in particular.
One thing I appreciate about Pierce's writing is how she handles school settings in fantasy. Learning and training is so mundane. All of her heroines have to work hard and put in extra hours of study in order to improve, much less keep up with their peers. It's so normal that it circles around to being weirdly refreshing.
Also, there is still no other fantasy author who handles period talk and birth control the way Pierce does. We make fun of the trope of fantasy birth control nowadays, but I rarely see it presented as it is here: as a part of normal puberty lessons and given long before sex is in the girl's radar. And even today with the glut of YA fantasy stories out there, I still have yet to see menstruation be portrayed as frequently or as bluntly as Pierce writes it.
There was a period of time publishers really tried to push the Tortall books as straight YA, which doesn't work for that reason alone. You gotta market them to middle schoolers. They're the ones just starting puberty talks, and getting scenes like this is so good for their brains.
Moving on: I fucking love these characters. Alanna was an icon of brash, temperamental heroines that have shaped my taste to this day. I love how even in the first book, Jon is kinda shitty. I adore George Cooper. Talk about a taste maker the way this man sets a standard.
I just can't be coherent when it comes to any Tortall books. I have no thoughts. Head empty. I am going to binge the rest of this series as quickly as I can before my library book comes in. Then normal book content will resume.
Before I go, I need to talk about the book covers.
Growing up, my sister and I had these covers:
Tumblr media
Which, god. I love them. The black is striking. The art is incredible. Alanna looks so good. They were the perfect pocket-size too. I was going to buy the same edition for my copies, but instead I got the 40th anniversary reprints:
Tumblr media
Not bad at all! These books have had some seriously bad covers, and these look great! Very anime, which will appeal to the 11 year olds who need to have their socks rocked by this series.
But, man. I really miss those black covers. One day I will splurge and buy a second set of them just so that I can stare at the art.

pick a pile: "New Year's message for you"
take a breath and choose the photo or number that calls you the most to find a message that this new year wants to be delivered to you as it starts.
HAPPY NEW YEAR Y'ALL! May you stay blessed, healthy, safe and happy all year long. May you be able to see your dreams come true before your eyes.
don’t take the reading too seriously. only take what resonates with you and leave the rest. if you're not called by any pile, let this reading slid as it may not hold messages for you. if you're called by more than one pile, there may be messages in each of those piles. remember that is a general reading and some things may not resonate with you. energies can change and readings are based on present ones (as you read); you're always in charge of your life.

Honeybun this year I want you to focus on doing a bit more for yourself. More of the things you enjoy, more of the things you can do to show yourself love and care: make yourself a cup of that drink you love, stay hydrated/eat well, make your bed carefully, take a long bath, read or watch a movie, start that course you wanted to try, go to that new shop/market you wanted to see, dance and sing, draw and paint, go for a walk, take a nap, give yourself accolades for all you've done until now. Give yourself small gifts here and there to show yourself how much you appreciate all you do and the person you are becoming. You deserve that. Working on yourself while handling relationships and life is not easy, and you're doing your best. Take a breath, take time for you and set your boundaries. You're giving a lot on the outside to others, and I'd like for you to learn how to include yourself more into that receiving side. Not everything others need has to be so impellent: give it the right importance. Give to yourself too, you are as deserving as anyone else just because you're alive now: you don't have to do anything in particular to deserve love and care. Remind yourself that is not perfection what you're aiming for, as it doesn't exist: mistakes are okay, they help you grow and better yourself. Be nice, be happy: beautiful things are coming. Stretch yourself out, take (up) your place/space in your life. P.S. I know you like to write, so write. Write it all down. You never know... Don't be scared of talking about yourself and your needs.
song: cure my desire | hannah wants, clementine douglas
Possible meeting of new people especially friends and especially if you've been alone for a while now in the most unexpected ways/places (maybe also while you're expressing yourself in some -even artistic- way: could be photography, writing, talking, taking notes, studying, classes/courses...), follow your guts.

Little cutie you're so lovely you have no idea. And you're hurt, even if maybe you're not entirely aware of the ways you are. But that's okay: it'll come to you with time. We don't have to know and understand everything immediatly: that'll be too much, don't you think? We need to let things move and develop at their own pace. And at our own pace too: we need to respect ourselves. I know for now you may just feel confused and hurt, and I'm sorry. But don't give up. What I can tell you is: I'm gonna be gentle with you. I'm gonna watch you grow and learn how to take care of you and of your past, step by step (baby steps!). Your inner child needs you so much... Don't shut them off, listen to them. Help them find the answers they seek and could never get. Help them receive the love and attention they deserve. Those bandages you put over your wounds are now in need to be removed and the wounds need a better healing. Let them go, don't hold onto them anymore. I know you feel so worned out now, but you will make it. You have no idea what can be born on a healing wound. Think about the cracks in the concrete and how flowers can born from them. You're the same. You have buildt up walls and confined yourself behind a rigid structure to protect yourself but now it's all starting to crumble: you're too sweet to not be willing to deal with others and receiving love. You need others, everyone does. Let it all crumble, let others come closer. You will know who to trust, trust yourself. You will know how to make flowers come out of that place of hurt, you will survive. You will make it. I love you.
song: release | editors
You have probably jaded yourself out of pain or have been jaded for a while, maybe you're finding out about triggers and traumas you may need to work on. I feel things will start to improve this year, you may be approached by good people. Some of you may also be approached by someone from their past trying to make things up: up to you if to let them in again in your life or not but please be aware of who they are now and keep in mind the pain they caused you. Stay grounded. I don't see much career/school-wise, probably it's not the main focus of the year or there aren't huge changes in sight as for now.

Sweetheart, it's time to move. It's time to change, to travel. To see new places and experience new emotions. To start a new life. I know you want it too, you're hungry for all that at this point. It's time to travel in time as well: go to your past once more, it's almost done. Take care of your inner child and younger self, help them heal the last bits of pain. Love them and love your present self the same way, as they're still part of you. They still live inside of you: embrace them, embrace your whole self, embrace every part of you. And plan your future: don't let life and others decide your moves entirely. Listen to what they want to say and find the hidden meaning of what happens if you need, but then act according on your intuition. Trust yourself and your guts the most and be aware of others' real intentions and energy around you. Be graceful and delicate as you've always been but don't let anyone fool you, don't let their fears win you over, don't let your hurt self control you and hinder you. You already know it: it's time, it's time. It's time to shed a light onto what is hidden, onto what is dark; it's time for clarity, especially of your mind. Be open to receive, also new downloads from us. We're not leaving from your side, ever. It's our time too now. Be a ray of sunshine for everyone to see, be always lovely and warm with others as I know you are. Dream big and act even bigger.

Dear one, this year I would like you to focus on creating your new self, on crafting yourself with no fear of failure. You have all that you need, just let yourself see that and welcome who you are from within. Take time to know yourself/build up yourself again, if this is what you need now. You've been through a lot now so it's okay to be confused and maybe even angry. But do not give up on the amazing person you are. Shine bright, and let those who like you, see the real you. Let your real self out and be liked by others, and don't worry about how they may perceive you. I know it's hard and you only want to be accepted, as you are tired of feeling alone, but trust me: the moment you start embracing yourself, people will come at you, attracted by your amazing talents and abilities. You can't see them now, so please, go within to find them. You have plenty, trust me. Be nice and compassionate with yourself: you've been through a lot. And remember it's okay if it's going to take a little more time to get where you want: the path you will choose, will take you anywhere you want. Just don't let others' images of you make you change your mind. Life and relationships are pretty complex, and it's hard to get through them tbh. But you can make it, you can come out of the storm and you will. And out of this storm, you'll find exactly want you want. Even me.
song: le cose più rare | cosmo (at the end it keeps repeating "then maybe one day we'll meet again" and I think it may be important for someone of you, especially if about someone you're no longer in contact with/cannot be in contact with)
For some, there's possible love/partnership (also friends) in sight; career-wise you may receive an important offer and/or as said get into a partnership or find clients interested in what you offer (you may come up with that in a few months if you aren't still sure about it)

everything has changed - mark estapa
in which, mark has had a crush on tatum prescott for as long as he could remember. but she had never noticed him, not until that fateful day.
Tumblr media
sophomore year
mark could not remember a time where he wasn't infatuated with tatum prescott. she was pretty and kind to everyone. she was captain of the volleyball team at his high school, so it was no surprise when she got into michigan to play volleyball for their woman's team.
mark was sure that this meant something, that the universe had aligned them to go to the same college because something was bound to happen between the two teenagers.
but come sophomore year and he was still pining over a girl that had never even looked his way. this was partly his fault, because it didn't matter how much ethan bugged him or how many times dylan pretended to laugh really loudly when walking behind the girl, mark never grew the courage to say a single word to the girl.
he had hoped being on the hockey team would gain him some attention, but even when he saw her in the stands during a game, her eyes were everywhere else but on him.
all that changed one fateful day, however. mark was about to leave the rink after practice when he was called into his coach's office. his eyes widened and his heart dropped to his stomach at the sight of tatum sitting across from his coach.
"estapa, this is tatum, she's our new social media marketer. i need you to give her a tour of the rink, show her where everything is." coach had explained as he rushed around his office grabbing pieces of paper before all but running out the room.
tatum stood from her seat, and mark could not keep his eyes off her. it was almost embarrassing and he could only hope that he wasn't creeping her out.
"mark, right?" she asked the boy as she approached him. mark nodded his head, confused to how she knew who he was. sure, he was on the hockey team she now worked for, but that didn't mean anything. "we went to the same high school." she smiled in remembrance.
"you remember me?"
"please," tatum scoffed jokingly, "i never forget a pretty face, estapa. now come on, you owe me a tour." and with that, the shorter girl looped her arm around mark's and dragged him out of the room.
junior year
tatum was running seriously late.
she had woken up too late, without realising her mistake, and had taken extra time getting ready for the hockey game that was tonight. it was against ohio, and she knew how the boys hated the wretched team. so her being late was definitely not easing their nerves.
over her passed year of working with the team, she had grown a special bond with all of them. she was good at calming them down when they were anxious by simply being there and yapping about random things.
so, when she arrived to the arena, it was a bit of a mess.
ethan and dylan were arguing over whose tape job was going to perform better during the game. rutger was hopping around on one skate as he searched for his other one. tyler was pulling at luca's hair as the eldest fantilli brother swatted his hands away angrily. nick had his head in his hands as chaos resumed around him. and mark was checking his phone frantically every three seconds.
"holy shit show." tatum exclaimed, crossing her arms over her chest.
"where have you been?" nick exclaimed as he jumped to his feet. "look what you've caused." rutger exclaimed as well, almost falling on his face.
tatum rolled her eyes before ushering all of the boys out of the room for warm ups, handing rutger his other skate as he left. mark was the last one to leave, a small childish smile on his face as he approached the girl.
tatum smiled up at the boy, placing a small kiss on his lips as a good luck. "you're gonna do great."
mark smiled widely before leaving his girlfriend in the changing rooms. tatum watched the boy go, the same boy that she fell in love with her sophomore year of high school but was always too nervous to approach.
