The second one is really vague and I’m sorry for that but I remember a WangXian fic where Wei Wuxian is part Veela and maybe he’s a Slytherin or Hufflepuff? I can’t seem to remember anything else besides there being a focus on Wei Wuxian’s volatile nature and battle prowess due to his Veela blood. He may have also killed a guy, or at least severely harmed some guy in self defense. I loved their world building and I’m so upset that I’ve lost both of them. Thank you for the help in advance.

I have a request though, I'm trying to look for this fiction where wei ying is a general (i think) and lan zhan is a dragon, and there's a war between all sect, with the lans, the nie, and wen on one side, against the jin and jiang on the other. There's also animal shifters among the gentry where I think the jiang might be water birds?? I can't quite remember. The jiang and Jin end up defeated and the others win. Wei ying.is also a genius tactician and is respected by the other side of the war. I can't remember the name of the fiction and I'm desperate to find it. I think it's a completed fic too

He's also pretty depressed I think? When WWX realizes that LWJ is born he storms into the Cloud Recesses and demands LWJ's hand in marriage -- LWJ is only 12 (I think) at this point and LQR and LXC are horrified but LWJ agrees without their input (he still has his original memories). WWX starts out just treating LWJ like a child he's very fond of but when LWJ gets older and becomes an adult, they resume a sexual relationship and I think WWX comments on how they're slowly shifting their dynamics from Kind Mentor WWX/Young Mentee LWJ to Bratty Bubbly WWX/Calm Dominant LWJ. Firstly, I want to say thank you, this blog is awesome, and I have found so many good Fics to read as well as find ones that I have lost or forgot to bookmark. 

Secondly, I would like help to find a fic, from what I remember Wei Ying was drunk on the rooftop when someone approached. In his drunken state, he thinks it was Lan Wangji that showed up so he goes on saying things like are you here to punish me again. He also asks why Lan Wangji hates him so much, but the whole entire time it was actually Lan Xichen he was talking to. I think it takes place after he got punished for drinking in Cloud Recess, and then something happens and he almost falls off the roof but Lan Xichen catches him. Lan Wangji had apparently witnessed the whole thing and tried to apologize but Lan Xichen coldly tells him the apology should be given to Wei Ying instead when he wakes up.

All I really remember from it was that it was short, like one to ten chapters long.

oOOOOooohhhhhhhh i get it now. i have Identified the Problem that has caused the most recent amadeus-related crisis/spiral/whatever you want to call it.

there are 5-ish "roles" that i have taken on as a solo dev:

project manager

musician/sound director

programmer/implementation engineer

writer/narrative lead

artist/art director

and for each i THOUGHT i had figured out how to tackle them.

project management: I've had some experience managing collaborative projects (GBA collab album, mystery jam game), I also solicited advice from other indie devs I met at Seattle Indies Expo, and I *also* applied what I learned about how we manage projects in facilities at my day job using Asana and have applied that to Amadeus. I very consciously treated this as a skill to learn and taking that specific skill seriously has helped a lot.

music: ...I straight up went to grad school for this. I took like a billion units every semester so I could learn as much as possible about composition AND mixing/production. This is the one thing I actually have a strong background in. I have the skillset and I also have People I can ask for feedback and advice. The music is lowkey going to carry this whole project.

programming: I went into this knowing full well I have exactly One semester of Unity/C# under my belt and have no idea what I am doing. I have experience learning basic HTML and JavaScript and have reverse engineered most of Ghost Trick's code via ROMhacking, so I have a sort of janky skillset, but it's very amateur and I knew that. I have asked SO many questions to people who are more experienced. KNOWING that this is my weakest suit has let me ask for help when I need it, and also accept that even the most polished possible form of this game is still going to be jank as fuck. That's fine. My #vision will still come through.

writing: the whole reason I set aside an entire month to just focus on the Mystery Jam game was because I knew I needed more experience writing, and specifically writing mystery. I've spoiled the whole game to two different people who have writing experience in order to bounce ideas and get feedback. I've asked for workflow advice from a third person with writing experience. Identifying this as a weakness has helped me focus on improving it, and because of that I am really happy with where it's at right now.

Which leads us to....

...art.

My problem with art is that as of about 2 years ago, I was much more confident in my art than I was in basically anything else except music, because I have drawn stuff my whole life and have a shitload of informal practice at it. So I focused very heavily on the other stuff that was very obviously a weakness.

But, as we approach the final months of Go Time to finish the first episode... I'm like, hm, it turns out that the art and art direction of a visual novel are kind of important.

I *like* all of the assets I've drawn for the currently existing demo, but there are specific things about the overall look I don't quite like, and there is a specific metanarrative Thing that I have been trying to evoke with what I'm doing visually and I feel like sticking to that is at odds with making assets that look and "feel" right.

Basically I haven't really thought as much about art direction as I should have since finishing the demo because I kinda figured I could coast on the fact I consider myself a pretty good artist. I can make things that look Nice. But now that I've worked hard at my other areas of weaknesses, the fact I haven't really sat down with my art direction in the past 4-5 months is really starting to become obvious.

All this to say.

My "assignment" for this afternoon is to sit outside listening to all the tracks I've written (including new WIP ones no one but me has heard yet CUZ THEYRE AWESOME im SO excited about the new tracks im writing for this) and reading through my revised narrative with certain finalized plot points and concepts, and just sketching out visually what the game Should Look Like. I am almost certain I can still use the assets I've already drawn, like the sprites and backgrounds and icons and such, but I may edit them differently, or add to them, or otherwise change something about them. I just need to make some choices because I'm feeling stuck and I need to get un-stuck if I am going to finish this game AND I AM DETERMINED TO DO SO.

ah its okay i dont think ive extensively talked about them(?) !! heres a lore post so i can refer back to it as well!! (lengthy bpp incoming) ->

general history:

the m34th was originally founded in the central kingdom as a group of witch hunters/killers as part of the general anti-magic mindset that was common in a lot of the regions following the fall of the witch king

after a while they figured out that killing a witch wasnt practical/efficient because 1) they were loosing a lot of people and 2) even if you kill a witch, it doesnt kill the magic, the familiar just goes and finds someone else to be the host and then you have to find that witch all over again

and they also realized that witches in general were not commonly evil or harming the public, but at the same time the kingdom still saw them as a threat and wanted to erase them from the public eye, so the m34th became a kind of regulating force

ie, they wont kill or harm a witch (unless as a last resort), but if a witch is being a bit too....public?? they will step in. (so this is the reason no one really knows about witches/excuses it as myth. also the reason why witches are forced to find backdoor ways to fulfill their oath of helping people instead of just coming out and curing cancer left and right--the m34th wont allow them to ever be public)

in very EXTREME stubborn situations, they will actually kill a witch if shes too much trouble and just hope the next [insert animal] witch is less of a pain in the ass

so not to say that witches fear them, but they do consider them enemies because 1) a witches life becomes much more restricted under the eyes of the m34th and 2) soilders of the m34th are ACTUALLY capable of killing a witch

general information:

the m34th is made entirely of black canvases (highest possible magic resistance), since the whole point of their existence is fighting witches and magic. (marshal is an exception--he is extremely talented and whatever he lacks like magic res he secretly makes up for in potions)

they also are meant to be magics bane in the sense that in tcwg theres a struggle between technology and magic--technology was created to fill the vacuum that magic left when witches became outcasts, and so its the idea that technology does what magic does (but often slower and less effectively, like healing)

the m34th though is like any government where they have ample funds and resources, and hide a lot of technology and secrets from the public. that being said, the kind of machines and tech the m34th uses is WAY beyond what the public sees/uses/comprehends.

(slaps on *ancient technology* meme because i cant explain it. think really cool technological shit. limes hovering comm device. they probably have frictionless hoverboard bullshit. set your phasers to stun. the kind of technology that could counter and stand up against magic)

they wear almost all white as representation of anti-magic (to contrast witches traditional black attire)

they are the third component to the main magical groups that are in constant conflict with each other: witches, m34th, coattails which represent magic/technology/dark magic respectively (dark magic is a wip but its the forbidden magic of tcwg) and they balance each other out like a healthy ecosystem

another way to think of the m34th is like the cryptic men in black. if you as a citizen see too much or know too much, expect a visit from these guys who are gonna flash the memory pen at you to keep you and everyone in the public ignorant

(for the final conflict against the first witch king the m34th and witches actually do join sides to fight so theyre best thought of as anti-hero types)

its pretty much a "okay what if they didnt betray cell" kinda thing. VERY loose idea but essentially pac e mike dont betray cell -> cell is still weird creepy and gross but. not losing his mind because he wants to kill them so bad. basically pac does convince mike to work with cell instead of jv because of the protection cell can offer them. they come up with a plan to game jv instead and pretend to not work with cell just long enough to figure out the full escape plan so they can hijack it.

jv does still die in this! its awesome its bloody its hot. all great things

i also had some ideas about the actual prison gang stuff and pac e mike's position of being under cell's protection (which means a lot in alcatraz) vs still being relatively easy targets for someone who might want to exploit what they think is cells weakness. does not end nice for them tbh

cell is still gross and creepy but at this point theyre stuck with him. hes their gross and creepy now :/ he's definitely possessive of them and its not healthy but. theyre in prison. what about it is going to be healthy. i think its a lot of like. stolen moments that arent necessarily romantic but there are a lot of undertones. cell grabbing pac's chin and pac leting him handle him. possessive touches. at first its something that mike almost steps in on but eventually he knows that cell will only go as far as he thinks pac will let him, and pac only lets cell go as far as he thinks he can before mike's likely to gut cell with his own knife. its fucked and weird but its theirs.

hadnt thought about how guaxinim fits into all of this yet which was an oversight on my part. sorry everyone. anyways it probably goes very similar to canon except guaxinim doesnt mind trying to escape with cell because well. hes not constantly threatening his life this time. and lets just say that the boat fits all of them because why not. also now that cell escaped felps can find them outside of prison.

they find a place to lie low together because where the hell would they go but together and its. comfy. its undeniably fucked and cell is a miserable housemate but. guaxinim tempers him and they balance eachother out.

You were very loose with this, I hope youre aware, so I will start at the most basic, with the gods I have bc I have NOT figured everything out for all the empires. This is a WIP au at all times of the day. All of this lore, at one point, does tie into the Crystal Cliffs: Academy for Magic (CC:AfM) au lore! Specifically with Scott and Xornoth.

Rivendell - The easiest

Rivendell has two canon gods, and one original god I made. This, ironically, reflects the royal family. There's Oytix - Goddess of Stars, Aeor and Exor - Twin Stag Gods. This reflects the royal family with three children being born since Alinar and Cohnal. They had a sister – Naexi. In this lore, Naexi was considered the champion of Stars, while Alinar the champion of Aeor and Cohnal the champion of Exor. Naexi lived the longest of the Riven siblings – being the one to live on and provide for the next generation of Rivendell royals.

This is seen later, in Scott & Xornoth's generation with a sister as well. In this au, Lauren (LaurenZSide) is canon to the empires universe. She's the older sister of Scott and Xornoth – as well as the champion of Oytix.

The Overgrown

The Overgrown has one god, which is The Spring – God of Fae. This is a nameless god, preferring to be known as "Spring" to everyone around them. Spring went into a slumber after the death of Alinar and Cohnal. The Spring that Katherine talks to in s1 is their concious, who wants the best for their land and leads her to the right answers no matter how cryptic they are. Every ruler of the overgrown has been handpicked by The Spring, regardless of how theyve behaved in the past.

Grimlands

The Grimlands has two gods in technicality, sharing one with two other empires. Sol - Goddess of the Sun and Diana - Goddess of the Moon. Theyre not related and Sol has a . . . complicated relationship with Exor. I can and will explain if asked about it. The grimlands also refers to Sol as the Goddess of Redstone (Grimlands corruption).

Crystal Cliffs

In the ancient days, the Cliffs once worshipped Diana, the goddess of the moon. As many people began finding logical and magical explanations, they ditched the idea of godly intervention for basically everything. Some people remember, but Diana is not worshipped like she once was in the cliffs, much less taught about in the Academy. Gandalf the cat remembers the most, he's been in the cliffs for just over six hundred years - he will not disrespect Diana, and he says goodnight to her when he goes to sleep if he can see the moon. The Cliffs doesnt get very cloudy, so he seems the moon almost nightly.

Gilded Helianthia (why isnt there a yellow on desktop?)

Gilded Helianthia has always and will always worship Diana, goddess of Moon. You'd think the farming queen and her empire would worship Sol, or A goddess of Harvest1. They worship the moon, Diana, because with out Diana and the moon then they would not sleep. If they do not sleep, then they do not have harvest days or a way to provide as they'd be consumed with fatigue. 1 The land of Gilded Helianthia becomes the building blocks of Sanctuary, where the Harvest Goddess - Madre de Girasoles (Later referenced as Santa Perla)

Mythland (look I only have so many colors to work with)

The start of Mythland worshipped one deity, the god of war Fern. Is ironic that a god of war is named after a plant? yes. Do I care? No. Up until the canon appearance of Xornoth, Fern was the only god in mythland worshipped. While people of Mythland considered Xornoth a god of corruption, he is not and they were worshipping Exor. Fern did not like the division of his people, much less did he like Exor. He has a rocky relationship with Sol, due to her relationship with Exor. Often times, Fern would butt heads with Sol, Exor, and Oytix.

Lost Empire

Zaerus, the god of pride and life. While the only one who has an official title amongst the pantheon. He loves his land, and has always done whatever it takes to save his people and the royal family. Zaerus will go to whatever lengths he must, including siding with Exor if he must. This caused issues during the first Prophecy, as Zaerus refused to let the then emperor help Alinar, as he prophesized that in doing so, the empire (one of great wealth and many people) would be lost to time. The emperor helped Alinar and Aeor anyway, which caused Zaerus cursing his bloodline and the empire to become lost within the jungle. The bloodline is now the one we canonically see as the Tiger Blood Prince and Princess.

Pixandria

Rhamus, God of Prophecy. Rhamus was the one to originally prophesize about Alinar and Cohnal; about Exor's betrayal to the pantheon. Although he knew virtually nothing about the betrayal, he knew Rivendell twins would have to pick a side - Aeor, or Exor. After the prophecy, Rhamus began to have scribes, or oracles, for his prophecies. The one to repeat the prophecy Rhamus had was the great grandfather of Pix, and after his great grandfather, he became the scribe of Rhamus. He knew the prophecy of war, and of the rapture.

Oceanic and Swamp Empires

This is the second easiet empire to work with, because Lizzie and Jimmy are gods themself, in technicality! Theyre the children of two gods, their father being an Axolotl and their mother being a Cod.

Kingdom of Mezalea

Also one of the easiest empires, as Mezalea as no gods. Joel himself becomes a god, but thats not until the end of season one and the start of season two. Mezalea has no gods, as they have no faith or souls to believe in gods. Other than Joel, Mezalea is simply an empire of dolls.

The Undergrove

Gnomes have strict belief in their deities, however as Shrub is away from her family and with the empires more they adopt the deity of the Wolf Spirit and eventually, under the guise of the wolf spirit when facing Xornoth, Joey and Sausage, the pantheon accepts Shrub as the wolf spirit - This leads to many confusing dreams for Shrub, as they are spoken to from the Pantheon during sleep. Shrub has not mentioned these "dreams" to anyone, and yet Pix knows. The Wolf Spirit is seen as a deity, whether or not Shrub is one.

OOH ok i. i have two more pride if wips other than my current pride if otto multichap. and i really wanna finish all of them. one of them is a pride if reinhard fic and the other is. you know it was just supposed to be unhinged and incredibly cringe pride if ottosuba smut wrapped up in a small oneshot but now its unhinged and incredibly cringe pride if ottosuba smut with Probably A Little Too Much Plot and it probably wont be a small oneshot. oops 😳 every time…. ANYWAY the pride if reinhard fic. its planned to be a twoshot atm thats just going through the most important events of poor pride if reinhard’s life. and by important events i mean All the loved ones reinhard lost and then the entire country being set on fire 😭😭 idk if any fic has been made yet focusing on how reinhard like. gradually feels hatred and anger for the first time towards pride if subaru for Doing All That but id like to focus on that yes!! like its a Very big deal. and also i wanted to give joshua a cameo bc well. the dude Already despises reinhard regularly. the moment he finds out julius and ana brutally died and reinhard is Likely half of the reason why they died (the other half being to put emilia on the throne)…… anyway joshuas gonna be very upset with reinhard thats for sure!! ..and also this fic Might need a dead dove tag. totally not for reasons.

EVERYTHING. but more specifically writing breaking points and the buildup to them 😭😭 the aftermath too!! like. even more specifically i love when the cards are Really stacked against characters and so they change for the worst. that gets me every time. they change so much that theyre like the trope where someone Comes Back Wrong and then they hit some sort of breaking point where hes Abundantly clear that theyre not the same anymore. if you get what i mean hah. but i love when suddenly everyone close to them has to confront this fact!! that theyre not the same anymore!! how will they all move forward from here?? bc change can be good or bad and its what you make of it…. will the character get worse or get better in the future??? idk i just love the angst of it all T^T the bittersweetness T^T having to confront the person you were and the person you Are and that even while theres differences theres still similarities to your past self…. which is probably why i like gluttony if and subaru a lot hah (on top of. heinkel……. if otto……..). like having to confront that this person you know and love is Different now….. that the love you shared with this person is Now gone and just a faint memory…. that stuff hits fr T^T like the baggage… the history… things wont ever be the same… that kind of feeling, you know?? and also additionally i love that quote from undertale that goes “despite everything youre still you”. yeah. yeah. 🤌 i like how this kind of development is so. its got Despair but if you so choose it there can be hope too….

i got this ask and was like yippee! i get to talk abt my fics. and then i remember i committed myself to writing at least some more so. here i go.

ok I'm back. and they were roommates (again?!) is about yuki & tenma from a3!

to condense very many things, in that game, they're indeed roommates, and they are. very funny. tenma is a child star sixteen year old who is actually kind of pathetic in constrast to his perfect image and yuki is the fourteen year old who relentlessly makes fun of him. yuki's also super talented at sewing and stuff and is super into fashion! he wears lots of cute dresses and stuff. anyways i'm obsessed with their dynamic.

this fic basically deals with a slightly alternate reality where, after spending some years together at the same theater company (like in the game), they end up drifting apart due to other things theyre doing (tenma's acting career takes too much of his time, as does yuki's fashion work). this is like. tragic because the entire point of a3 is about found family. but by a bizarre set of circumstances, they end up attending the same college! and they're not roommates again, but their rooms are like, in the same floor of an apartment complex. and its basically a story that's hopeful in the end like, yeah, these connections that you thought you'd have to Grow Up From and Strike It Out On Your Own aren't actually over, even when you're further apart you're still together. and stuff like that. a lot of it was in tone likely prompted by the shut down of the a3! english server, which made me feel melancholy about a lot of things. so this fic deals a lot with like. growing up and reconnecting. and tenma & yuki's friendship which is one of my favorite dynamics

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Probably On Lies And Spies since it's a canon compliant peter fic, tho i think my prongsfoot fic might also be up there for competiton... Do you get hate on fics? mm yeah.. amtc specifically... idk what it is with that fic but ive had all kinds of things said there... people who hated the ending, people who thought no one should ever forgive james, people who said no one should ever forgive sirius, people being just in general mean (and not even in english??).. especially the comments in the bookmarks suck, ive had several people rate that fic out of 10, have had people write an entire list of what i should have done different etc etc... it sucks cause i still like that fic a lot, the first long fic ive ever finished, but its reached a point where im scared when people tell me theyre going to start reading it :(

15. How do you write smut scenes? Do you get very visual or detailed? How important is it to be realistic? I am a visual person, almost everything I write exists first in my mind as a visual scene. That's true for everything I write but definitely smut. I think because the visual is so clear in my mind I can sometimes be not very visual in my descriptions, because I forget that not everybody has access to the pictures in my brain. I think detail is important but, like, I try to give it out sparingly, kind of? I want you to know what theyre doing, obviously, thats the point. Like I like to tell you what theyre doing and then back away a little and tell you what theyre thinking or feeling or seeing etc etc to give the action time to actually happen without having to narrate every move everybody makes, if that makes sense?

I think it is important to be realistic if that's what youre going for. If you want people to think its hot its pretty important not to have any glaringly impossible things going on because that just pulls people right out of the vibe. But if you want to write silliness or over the top whatever like I'm not gonna stop you. It could be fun, honestly, to write just absolutely silly incorrect sex in a very serious voice.

24. Worst writing advice anyone ever gave you? I installed Grammarly for one day and it told me I use too many commas. I uninstalled it after that because my too many commas are beloved and I am not interested in changing them. Besides that nobody has ever really given me advice?

27. What is your most and least favorite part of writing? Most favorite is the click when the story starts to actually be something. When you find a theme running through it or you realize the motivation for the thing you set out to write is a little different than you thought, when you accidentally write a line that already echoes back to the beginning and gives you the roadmap for the rest.

The worst part is finding ideas. I want to write all the time but my brain spends a lot of time completely empty. I envy the people with 20 WIPs so hard!

I slowly slip out of the room trying not to draw attention to myself, and gain some sense of composure. As I step out onto the patio the warm, thick, Monoco air blows gently over my skin, I lean my head back, close my eyes, and take a deep breath, a deep breath that was immediately halted when I take in an all too familiar scent.

HI ELLY!!!! So so sorry for the late response im a bit sick right now, i hope this feedback is still beneficial for u🫶🫶 they'll be extremely specific and take em with a grain of salt bcs 1. im a picky reader and 2. im definitely not even certified to be giving out writing advice lol

Okay so i just wanna start off by saying the potential i see with u and writing is insane. Heres some feedback to improve it:

don't compliment the driver too much -> obviously theyre gorgeous but from a reader viewpoint, it could come across as a bit too much. you have to mention the attraction the reader has to the driver, ofcourse, but maybe try and make it a bit subtle.

show, don't tell -> i honestly think you shouldn't live by this phrase because sometimes telling is necessary but in this snippet i think showing would be more beneficial. (e.g. instead of describing the drivers features in the beggining and then saying that he looks much more attractive now that hes grown up, you can describe it from the very start. So, it would go something like, "Familiar golden flecs in his emerald eyes, slightly longer curls cascading perfectly down to his ears, and stubborn baby/teenager fat no longer hiding his lean, sculpted body.") ***btw im guessing that the driver is lando bcs of the green eyes + curls but i may be completely wrong & also is this a childhood friends to lovers type situation or??? just curious💙

sentence structure variations -> honestly i should take my own advice because i struggle so so much with this. basically what this means is that when ur writing, every sentence shouldn't be short and at the same time, every sentence shouldn't be long. There has to be a balance. A short sentence here and there. Maybe a slightly longer one to get the read more invested in your writing. And, then, once the reader i fully engaged and hooked onto your words, you can transition into longer sentences. Ha, see what i did there. I played with sentence variations!!! (E.g. you could rewrite, "As I step out onto the patio the warm, thick, Monoco breeze blows gently over my skin, I lean my head back, close my eyes, and take a deep breath, a deep breath that was immediately halted when I take in an all too familiar scent." into, "When I step out onto the patio, the warm, thick Monaco air blows gently over my skin. Relieved, I lean back. My eyes close and I breathe in the refreshing air; a breath almost immedietly halted when the all too familiar scent fills my lungs.") ***thats not the best example of sentence structure variation, i'll admit, but again, im so shit at it.

The unwanted and unintentionally abandoned for the WIP ask game? 👀

ah this ones fun!

ok so i took a few artistic liabilities lol i played round with ages a bit. korkie is obi wans son, but only by birth and obi wan was unaware that he knew. in satines eyes korkie didnt need a father (the story goes in to this a bit, its a very mandalorian perspective, which is fun)

the theme of this fic is:

He was a good man but he wasn't a good father

and

He wasn't a good man but he was a good father

the story begins post order 66. Korkie and Boba meet each other when theyre both doing bounty hunter esque work. korkie saves boba and they end up bonding and form this weird partnership/friendship based around the fact that they are both teenagers coming to terms with the fact that their fathers left them in this mess and now theyre having to fend for themselves in a fucked up galaxy.

theres a contrast between how the other adults in korkies life saw his birth father not being involved (and how they expected him to see it) and how korkie, raised pretty isolated from traditional mandalorian culture, and with satines death and the start of the empire, left to fend for himself when he's still a kid really. pretty much. everyone expected korkie to be fine with it and saw obi wan as nothing more than a sperm donor really, and korkie is very much not fine with obi wans absence and does not see him this way. he projects a lot of his anger towards how things have turned out and the galaxy he's now living with on to obi wan.

at the same time, boba is 15 in this. life has been tough for him these past few years and he's begun to feel kind of bitter towards jango for dying and leaving him in this mess (its a very 15 year old perspective, and he finds korkie at JUST the right time to encourage it. otherwise i think that boba would get over that pretty quickly and return to the idolisation of canon)

theyre working togethr and they wind up on tattoine for a job. korkie is heading through a market and hears someone mention 'ben kenobi' and he's like. surely not. no way. korkie ends up finding obi wan who in this au is living with luke raising him himself. korkie argues with him and then storms off and he and boba fly off. theres then a perspectibe switch, we see that obi wan who was unaware korkie even knew who he was is pretty surprised, and then shock! none other than jango steps outside of obi wans house, making a sarky remark about korkie, just in time for obi wan to call him a hypocrite.

jango is not dead. he has just left boba to fend for himself believing that his father is dead, and bizzarely has ended up bumming off obi wan of all people. it started after obi wan stumbled on jango in cryro after the war and reluctantly resuced him, then jango never left. obi wan and jango's relationship in this is so fun. theyre such prickly arseholes to each other. but they keep the other around all the same.

boba and korkie do some more jobs while korkie thinks about obi wan (angrily). korkie ends up doing some research on luke and thanks to his inside knowledge, works out just who he is. then, completely coincidentally, they end up running in to leia whos been kidnapped. they save her. but before they return her, korkie figures out who she is and gets really angry at obi wan again, as he feels its pretty unforgivable to split a pair of twins like that. he goes back to tattoine with her to confront obi wan (the decision making in this fic is bizzare. you have to remember at all times that korkie and boba are traumatised teenagers and jango and obi wan are weirdos). this time boba comes with korkie to visit obi wan, jangos presence is revealed, and obi wan has a bit of a break down over the fact that his teenage son has kidnapped a princess after obi wan didnt pay him enough attention.

boba and korkie think its outrageous to keep the twins seperated and arent really willing to listen to jango or obi wan at this point. but theyre eventually convinced that the twins cant be together because of the empire as it isnt safe. at which point they kind of shrug and go. right then. time for the 4 of us to bring down the empire then i suppose

they have a cute lil vacation romance and bob is her summer boyfriend and they go to wonder wharf together (I think bob actually grew up closer to bog harbour than seymour's bay but for the sake of simplicity lets say he grew up in the town FJDJSKSDJDK) and then the next day when linda leaves she's like well I hope I'll see you again someday (its the 80s so phone numbers and email wasn't as much of an option) and gives bob a kissy :) and of course they do meet again a couple decades later when they canonically meet in the show!!! very cute summer romance fic I would truly love to finish it at some point bcuz theyre the sweetest kids ever. linda and bob thinking the other is soo cool and linda being excited to have an Older Summer boyfriend she met on vacation (he's like 17 months older than her maybe) is cute to me. i think they would have been friends if they knew each other as kids

well colorful text anon, i can provide the best of my abilities! Kind of. maybe i can talk about my general thought process with nowhere train instead.

So i've been in a bit of a slump regarding it, but I think I'm finally pulling myself out. See, my Toontown fixation has refused to let me enjoy much else besides it, so a LOT of my OC projects got thrown on the backburner. Its part of the reason I fell off of the splash arts (that and general lack of motivation...). NWT was also in a bad spot of me feeling really really insecure about it.

I... know we're all going through multiverse burnout, so i became really worried about me potentially perpetuating that cycle when i didnt mean to. But I watched Cartoonshi's video about the thing and realized... oh i was just overreacting. That, and I finally got around to finalizing some much needed redesigns. The main 4 just need to be digitized and they'll be done. I wanna touch up Polaris, Henundher, Backenforth, Cozimo, and Stealer so theyre still a WIP (polaris and stealer are very close to being done though).

Coming into the new year I want to actually... do Stuff with them. Now that ive made peace with the fact Im not required to do lunium/"danganmon" content I feel much more free. Unfortunately I must reiterate they are also on the backburner compared to anything Toontown related, so it will be a slow start.

I stated a while ago Id love for it to be animated someday, which is true! But I understand that is... a long time away if it comes at all. Could we expect a comic at some point? Maybe, I've certainly honed my skills regarding the craft. I'd really prefer to start small though (even though I... have mostly worked with small one shot comics, I wanna build to something bigger, ya feel?). Whatever happens... happens I suppose.

I also want to... find meaning in the NWT cast. Various DGM incidents have lead to me feeling detached from my own characters, and I'm only like... JUST recovering from that. Its a hard balance to strike! You want to care enough that they mean something to you, but not too much that attacks against them become personal. This of course could just be because of my interests right now, but you never know.

Anyways, I think I've gone on long enough. This probably isn't what you asked for but it was kind of a vague question! No hate though, I love talking sometimes.

ive been hibernating since february (last fic completed let alone worked on Properly) so i am more skeletal than rotted at this point but surely . surely it will come back to me and i will go crazy again

LITERALLY IT IS SO DIFFICULT INTRODUCING CHARACTERS i tried to write oc content recently and it went so bad that i couldnt even stomach the idea of it anymore it is so DIFFICULT but fanfic? fanfic is so much Simpler in my brain. in terms of work i mean because at the point that im writing fanfic about something ive already gone so deep into the lore that i could name 8 niche quest npcs and their full backstory + all of my headcanons in the form of 300 very lengthy discord messages

oh my god. sorry but midway through this ask i just remembered that i still have something of a discord wip channel in use right now, but its not for full works and it IS for snippets. sometimes i have these little ideas in my head but theyre not good enough for a full fic so i just jot em down in a discord channel for (hopefully) later use.... the discord wips will never die

real talk? what you said about any finished work being an accomplishment makes me feel alot better about how irregular my fics are because i end up feeling guilty about how by the time my writers block is over, the fandoms are completely different .. and to be honest when you stop thinking about it it IS kind of funny because theres a. wow fanfiction and b. anime fanfiction. i wonder sometimes if people go to my page and have an aneurysm looking at the fandom list
