this one is prob controversial to an extent because of huntlow becoming basically canon but i dont care so here u go.

hunter has always given me aro vibes not for any huge reason mostly just cuz i like interpreting him that way. hunter grew up in the emperors coven and never had time for romance, and id like to think that even after leaving he just didn’t even think of it much. i think he would be very surprised by how much he cares about others and how capacity he has for enjoying literary anything. being allowed to feel things and having the time to do so would probably be very new to him so even if he just got a squish i think it would feel like a really big deal. hunter grew up with very strict rules so the idea of him delving into relationship anarchy and allowing his relationships to naturally build and be equally important in different ways would be so good for him. also i think he would be very invested in his lil found family and that would be very very important to him. his attachment to belos above all else would make a larger family and support system so comforting i love that for himmm!!!

heya! i'm planning to write my characters (queers and allies) going to a pride parade, but i have never been to one so i'm wondering if you can help me describe the atmosphere and how people interact with each other during the parade? or are there any resources i can look into about pride parades?

I highly encourage you to go to one if you are able, but I know it's not something everyone can just do. My experience under the cut

First, it's my impression that they vary vased on how accepting the setting is. I live in the US in a very liberal area, and that influences my experience a lot, given that a) it's 80% either organizations or buisnesses of some kind showing support, and b) I don't encounter a smidgen of hate/counterprotest.

So my Pride starts as a parade down the street and into the park, where it settles and becomes a festival. I personally enjoy the festival far more.

Most people going , who aren't part of the parade, wear something with a flag on it, the rainbow being the most common. But more and more you'll see flags you don't recognize. People give out stickers-- either rainbow flags in different iterations or hearts with several of the most common flags. Wearing pride flags is very common.

There are usually a couple people with shopping carts so full of flags, boards displaying stuffed animals, large pins, and other things for sale. They start going around the parade area early on. This if good is you want a flag before the parade, but I usually avoid them-- usually these are not queer sellers, and are simply reselling products they bought elsewhere. That said, it was the only place last year I found a 7 stripe sunset lesbian flag.

People there are generally freindly, complimenting pride themed outfits and stuff. There are families with kids there as well as young adults.

The parade, for me, is mainly organizations supporting us-- the grocery store, churches, local politicians, the police (🙄🙄🙄 I went stony silent for them), ect. Groups that I loved tto see though was the local POC Queer group, Planned Parenthood, and my absolute favorite, a local social liberation group. I loved that last one so much because someone was shouting protest chants and there were signs calling for change in trans rights and stuff-- 90% of pride is a parade, not a protest, and feeling the protest energy made me so so happy.

Most people marching are in tshirts associated with theor organization that say something about pride. But you also see a lot of people with pride flags, rainbow butterfly wings. There is usually at least 1 float full of, plus a few other, drag queens. There's the gay bar's float with mostly men dressed in very little. There's giant bubbles or bubble guns. People in the parade will toss out candy, flags, support bracelets, ect to the audience-- also condoms, but I didn’t see any this year. But that might've been because I was near a lot of kids.

At the festival you have:

All those organizations have a booth. There is usually free stuff and sometimes spin to win (pay to spin)

However, you also have local small businesses! There's a good amount that make queer stuff, usually a metaphysical booth, jewelry, pins (fun pronoun pins), flags, umbrellas, fans, pretty much anything you can think of that can have a pride flag, including homemade stuff

The shopping carts are around still

There's a whole bunch of food, like food trucks and stuff. Usually these have nothing to do with pride, theyre just not actually homophobic, and are there to sell food. But there was a local cafe these 6 trans owned and operated that I was super happy to see bc I've been meaning to go.

STD testing somewhere

A stage with a band. I think a drag queen from ru paul came to ours (I go to a big one in a state capital). It's very loud so I don't usually linger here but a lot of people go and enjoy the music and whatever else performance happens.

Ours had rides! A swing ride (so popular I skipped it even though that's one of my favorites) and a carousel. Also face painting. We didn't even have those at the biggest local festival of the year

Free Mom Hugs! I learned recently that this is a group and not just shorrts that are worn, but mother+ aged women wear tshirts saying Free Mom Hugs (or Dad hugs, therre are men too).

As for the people... my pride is crowded. People are usually drressed pretty lightly-- gentials are covered but that's about the only rule. Think rave rules-- boobs usually have their nipple covered. Being covered up is just as common though. No matter what the no-kink-at-pride people claim, this largely isn't sexual. It's queer, it's body positivity and acceptance, it's just being yourself. Also it's usually hot out. People are generally freindly, will compliment especially rarer sexuality representation or cool slogans on shorts. You'll see people in drag, a lot of androgeny, mixing feminine and masculine, ect. And there are plenty of people dressed more normally, too.

People don't necessarily act like everyone there is family or are that much more freindly/familiar with each otther than anywhere else. But mostt people there will respond positively to compliments, most people know far more flags than the average person. People assume pronouns slightly less, definitely still do (my enby gf, wearing all trans colors, no pronoun pin, was misgendered a few times) but it's a much safer environment to correct or ask for one's pronouns or respect ones they see.

Only other pride I've been to is in Provincetown, an extremely gay place. From what I remember, this was much more the common folk, much more an assortment of people marching and cheering and not as directly associated with an organization wanting support. I also went to a leather march there, also basically pride, except mainly... y'know. Leather.

There's a post on heere somewhere of someone watching someone on the bus after pride (idk if ot was a freind or stranger) who lookeed so happy and like themselves, theen having to peel off the stickers, hide the rainbows, ect., as they returned home. This will be an experience that still happens for likely a very long time.

That's about all I can think of. I welcome anyone else to share their experiences! I feel like I talked more about the festival than the parade but I like the festival better.

Unlike what people claim, there is no gatekeeping. The idea of people feeling like they aren't allowed is so weird to me because like. There's so many straight people giving support. There's so many people who you don't know theor sexuality. No one is at pride judging anyone for not belonging. If you look like a bunch of straight people there to party, maybe people will think that and move on. But for the most part no one would notice. You don't know someone's sexuality unless they have a flag, or if someone is there with a same-gender partner or not unless you see them kissing. And no one is performing sex scenes, that picture used in the no-kink-at-pride discourse wasn't at pride, no one does that. Did a freind once tie a bdsm knot on a ripe over my shirt at pride once? Yeah. So what? People there show some pride for their sexaulity, that's different.

this was going to be a modern Zukka AU taking place during Ghost Month in Taiwan. Also trans Sokka. There were a lot of moving parts that just didn't come together. It drew inspiration from Druck Season 3 and also Marry My Dead Body somewhat

Zuko was going to slowly fall for this guy he met but actually it turns out he's a ghost and now they're attached. That was gonna be a Huge Reveal lol. Ghost Month is coming to an end but now Zuko is in love and can't lose Sokka so he agrees to a ghost marriage. They maybe live happily ever after? I hadn't had it all planned out lol.

Character backgrounds:

zuko is half-Taiwanese (his mom is from Tainan but his dad is a famous Japanese businessman). He’s run away from home w Iroh so they live in a little place in like Sanchong or st bc it’s really the only area they can afford

Iroh owns a bubble tea shop that’s quite reputable in the community but it’s really no big deal at all bc there’s thousands of them around

Meanwhile Azula lives w her dad in that corkscrew apartment building by Taipei 101. You know, the one that EVERYONE knows houses all the rich and famous ppl in town and has a specific elevator dedicated to bringing your car up to your living room

Sokka and Katara are half First Nations Canadian and half Indigenous Taiwanese- probably Paiwan. because how awesome would that be. They came to the city for college but stuck around. Sokka worked at a math cram school and Katara works in a medical clinic. Her dad is super proud!

Sokka died tragically recently in a car accident

Katara lives in Ximen with Suki who does ballroom and is a personal trainer by day. She’s Sokka’s ex AND Katara’s ex lollll

Suki is Japanese

Aang originally came from Nepal to study in college but he stuck around to work for a big international NGO. He has a big sheepdog Appa and Momo is a cat. It’s a nightmare for his landlord. He lives in Da’an near the park, which is great to give Appa space to play

Zuko has a party, invites Sokka. Sokka shows up with Katara and Zuko is like omg ew he has a gf

At some point after Carmine escaped to the US, Tugarin tried to undergo a similar surgery but the Soviets instead took his brain, which is still considered the 2nd most powerful on Earth. They used his brain to operate the country’s nuclear defense system; after 1962 he was ‘shut down’ due to instability and the uh..fact that HE is the one who launched nukes at the US lol

jackie and henriks relationship is probably the most complex of all the ego relationships in my lore. like they hate each other. they love each other. henrik was made specifically for jackie. henrik loved jackie when he was first born like a little child but jackie was too sick to give him attention. jackie was afraid to love henrik at first because he was still grieving the loss of marvin. henrik put jackie in inpatient services because of how bad his schizophrenia and as a result he was completely alone to withstand jacks abuse and drug addiction. henrik finds out jackie is transgender and something in him hurts, hurts to see someone trans and out and happy. it hurts and he’s jealous and he doesn’t know why yet. 

when anti was created jackie was the only one who knew and tried telling henrik but henrik didnt believe him because again, fresh out of the mental hospital. and henrik loved him and was worried for him, thinking he was delusional again. anti is revealed to be real and jackie is angry that henrik ignored him, causing another painful wedge in their relationship. then comes Chase’s birth and jackie fusses over him WAY more than he did henrik, giving him so much love and attention henrik is pushed to the side. another wedge. anti comes back and possesses henrik. this sends jackie into a psychotic episode and no one is here to comfort henrik through his painful experience with anti. more and more wedges. 

henrik finds jackie locked in his room screaming and crying because jack made someone new and gave him away to anti. chase believes him right away, but for henrik, its not until jack is never found again that he believes a heartbroken jackie. marvin returns. jackie is healing and filled with love and marvin gets all the attention. they rescue jameson. jameson gets all the attention. jackie and jameson start fucking despite how worried henrik is about the new member of the family. jackie and henrik argue. a lot. about jameson. what’s best for him, what he needs. 

henrik is so, so bitter and tired and he hates, he HATES jackie, for everything, for all these hurts, all these wedges. jackie was never there for him. jackie says he cares, but he doesnt act like it. jackie is naive and nice and everyone else likes him but henrik doesnt. jackie doesn’t understand the bitterness. jackie is sad because of how henrik treats him. he tries to fix things but doesn’t understand where these hurts come from. its all too deep and hard and henrik is such a closed off man that it would take lots of chipping away to get to henrik in a way that matters. so he supposes he doesn’t like henrik either. 

every time they speak to one another, its tight and clipped and usually ends in petty argument. there is tension so thick between them you can feel it when theyre in a room together. they dont like each other. hatred on henriks side; sad, hurt and bitter jackie on the other.

other headcanons...my favourite one is that when shuichi is deep in thought, he makes a concentrated face and puts his fist under his chin. i love having kokichi and kaito be brothers. i like thinking theyre found family and that sure they hated each other for a while but they found comfort in each other and that should continue on in every universe. they should be allowed to be brothers. i also like to think that shuichi and kokichi are two people that just completely run on no sleep like so often that its worrying. this is consistent no matter what reality they are living in. kaito has a hero complex and i think that one is just canon but i havent engaged in the material recently enough to say...i have only been referring back to my notes on characterisation from the last time i did a character analysis...i should really fix that i need a refresher i cannot just Live Like This who am i if i dont have a proper handle on who these fucking people are

AND ISN'T THAT JUST TRAGIC? no one even fucking knew him because he couldn't be honest out of pure fear and terror and a need to protect himself and that was ALL he was thinking about was am i safe and am i by doing this attempting to stop the killing game. he always knew it was going to go that way. and that is so tragic. and kaito had to be the one to carry it out and it didnt even fucking work it didnt even end the killing game. but at least kaito went to space. at least kaito went to space, somehow. and monokuma didnt even get to kill him. i just wonder if kaito in some way did find a way to like kokichi. i wonder if knowing that kokichi was always and forever hating the killing game no matter what he said gave him comfort and helped him forgive him. surely they had time to have a moment like. i dont know if i can forgive you but i would like to try. surely. i like to believe it. kokichi was understood for like the briefest of moments and kaito saw him as he was and then he was dead. i hope that brought him comfort. and this is mostly why i want to believe that its a simulation broadcast as drama television. like surely kokichi wasnt understood for a few hours and then killed for a plan that failed. kokichi gets to live a life outside the killing game and got to see kaito and later shuichi and everyone else and everyone got to see the show while they were waiting for everyone else to come out of the game and maybe they understood each other a little more and maybe they felt bad for each other after thinking about it for a few weeks like. maybe we didnt deserve to be put through that. maybe being put in that kind of situation brings the worst out of people and we just saw the worst of each other because we had to find some ways to survive. i HOPE. Reading internet fights doesnt have to be an internet activity that rots you (ie doom scrolling, falling into the tiktok algorithm hole, etc). Reading internet fights can light up your brain in a similar way to reading a newspaper article or playing a computer game from when you were 8.

The key is to read the good ones where people are arguing really niche topics but both sides (no matter how well or mis informed) take the time to explain the proofs of their conclusions. Like they write out the math of what theyre arguing. Because when someones wrong, this style of argument lets someone else cut them down by pointing out faulty premises or pointing out non sequiturs. When you can read the thinking processes of each side it feels better taking a side because you just saw all the work theyre doing to get to there. Reading good internet arguments can be different from falling in a tik tok hole because the serotonin feels likes its sourced from developing my thinking skills (vs receiving it from being shown something new every 8.7 seconds).

Internet arguments are bad and make me feel like im j watching a car wreck (engages you but not for a good reason) when they give me undeserved credit. Such fights include but sre not limited to (from most to least readable) people debating a proper ranking of priorities or thingd, (and this is one full tier below Ranking Arguments, usually) logical fallacies, introducing tangentially related but ultimately off topic arguments, generalized blanket statements, making statements that are j truly objectively wrong observations about material reality

Cherry on top is when a the Cool Arguer hits all the thoughts you were thinking when reading an Uncool Persons comment AND adds something you didnt think of (learning!) The cherry on top of that cherry is seeing Uncool Arguer get ratioed.

Its important to remember that even tho internet fights dont always have to be soul sucking, even the best of them are only the equivalent to drinking orange juice from Ralphs (idk if this is the most equivalent comparison but im too lazy to think of the right one). Its not soda, it probably wont do too much harm if you have some for brekkie every so often. Definitely shouldnt be drinking it everyday when theres water and teas and seltzer water around. You wont be the microbiome or kind person you want to be on OJ and internet fights.

And this is because 1) you do not want to be a person who has a habit of deriving entertainment from the conflict between others and 2) especially so when theyre arguing over a cause important to you. Example: if theyre arguing about transmisogyny, at the end of the day we want to get rid of transmisogny because 'transmisogyny is an issue you care about because you love trans women *not* because you want transmisogynists to be wrong' (thats j the fun perk). But internet fights abt transmisogmy can only exist if transmisogny exists! So letting those internet arguments become fodder for your attention or a source of receiving joy from the internet is not productive to the true end goal and cause you care for. *And* you dont want to revel in the by products of transmisogyny bc its just gross! Best relationship to good internet fights is 'phew! Comforting to know theres other people who reason things out in the same steps i do! no man is an island!'

not sure if this line of reasoning can be applied to good internet fights on topics i dont care about. I think if an argument is silly and in good nature then its all fun (and actually those types of arguments are good reading, more like water than the good internet arguments on issues i care for, because theres no stakes its just people having fun and connecting with each other thru the medium of the internet) and if people are having a good internet argument over something i dont know about (ie best cars engines from the 80s a la mona lisa from my cousin vinny) well then its also more like water than OJ bc its low stakes with less repercussions and reading it will teach me something. they have a LOT of things from their childhood still, mostly little crafts they made together. the most important thing though are the matching necklaces that they made, they're like. 15 years old at this point and have been repaired countless times over the years, and despite it all they both still wear them almost every day. they'd both be pretty devastated if they were to be lost. they could make new ones but it wouldn't be the same.

morgan's greatest wish is very simple, she just wants a house with a porch so she can put a rocking chair on it, and sit in it and make her little crafts while watching the sun + feeling the fresh air. she and lou don't have the best paying job ever so it's taking a LOT of time to save up, but she is very patient. they're getting there. slowly but surely. she also has a little crafting business on the side which helps with extra money for a house. she IS going to get it one day.

morgan is very loud and confident, do there's not much she really wants to hide, bc she's very happy with herself, but if there Was something, it'd probably be the fact that she gets anxious sometimes. which is Just Fine but every now and again she feels like she shouldn't be allowed to feel that way, and constantly needs to keep up her Positive appearance, or everyone will be upset or disappointed or whatever. she knows it's not true but she does get very down about it sometimes.

marcus sweet baby boy marcus. he thinks he's a freak. he sees ghosts, which should be a thing that's normal in this world, but people choose to believe otherwise despite all the evidence. and because of that, he feels like an outcast. it's fairly easy to hide, but sometimes it does make him extremely sick, and he can't just be telling random people "oh yeah it's the ghosts lol" every time he passes out or throws up or whatever. so he just has to be like. dont even worry about it i've just got Problems. seeing ghosts does make him act a little weird and skittish and jumpy sometimes, and he doesn't want people thinking he's even weirder than he already seems. so he's just. very much stuck in this cycle of being ashamed of his entire existence, and having to completely bury who he is in order to blend in with everyone else.

around each other and family/close friends, they are very unapologetically themselves. even out of close circles, morgan is still very much the same, never really felt the need to change who she was to be palatable to other people. she is LOUD and everyone has to accept it.

marcus is a very very anxious little man, he can talk to people but he's generally very quiet/fidgety/reserved at first, and it takes a few weeks, sometimes even months, to warm up to people and really get comfortable being around them. and even longer than that [in most cases] to feel fully comfortable being Himself.

🔪 KNIFE - how do they react to injury / misfortune befalling their loved ones (significant other, family, friends)? do they put themselves at blame?

i imagine morgan would feel extremely guilty about it if marcus got injured, bc he's her younger brother, and she should have protected him more, even though that's not the case at all. marcus would feel like he didn't do a good job looking out for her as well, but probably a little less on account of being the younger one. does that. make sense god i hope so hjgshj

outside of that, i don't think they'd blame themselves for other people's misfortunes [lou + jason specifically], bc they're their own people, they can handle themselves, theyre strong enough etc etc, but they'd still feel somewhat guilty for not being there to help, even though generally it would change Nothing bc lou and jason LOVE putting themselves in situations. their help would maybe just, get them a little less injured.

they'd understandably be upset about it, and morgan has a bit of a calmer head than marcus, so he would completely overthink everything and go into Worry Overdrive, while morgan is like it's fine, they're fine, they'll heal. It's Fine. still a little bit worried though. but they both do try to help in the healing process as much as they can.

morgan trusts VERY easily, not to say it hasn't blown up in her face before, but she always tries her best to see the good in people, no matter what. she'd only turn her back on someone if they turned out to be really shitty, and she is a very good judge of character and has no issue with doing that. if someone makes her unhappy, she's more than willing to drop them in an instant. she wouldn't betray anyone she would feel SO bad about it.

marcus. HGIHghfdkhwekjghfdskgh he did. he did trust people once!!!!!! HE DID!! HE TRUSTED WITH HIS WHOLE ENTIRE HEART!! and then!! the one boyfriend he ever had. turns out he was being cheated on the entire time! and he didn't even learn that until THREE ENTIRE MONTHS AFTER said bf completely ghosted him. so now he definitely does not trust anyone, other than his family + lou. i mean, he will trust people in the general sense, but he would never really trust someone with his feelings, because he's scared of it happening again. the one relationship he had, and he thinks it's going to happen again and again and again. i don't rly have full context so idk that i can give a complete opinion based on conjecture. the significance behind having teo and sai inhabit the northern air temple was about sharing culture and more than just idk... sai giving weapons to the fire nation to protect their livelihood. like that is a part of it, sure, but by removing the setting, it's taking away a lot of nuance the whole situation had.

jet and co being behind the bombs makes sense but idk in what context. if they're tailing fire nation spies outside (outside???? or does omashu having a woodsy side to it where they've set up camp and i just missed it?) the city to eliminate them, then why also bomb them inside the city? that part to me still seems like indiscriminate attacks meant to incite the army to fight. but i will hold back bc i dont wanna give these writers credit if thats not the case and its smth stupid instead rhgowhgqeg

also i know i said this last time but i wanna say it again re: the change in genre. taking this show from a global journey adventure serial and trying to make it a drama is removing a lot of what made atla work so well. there was so much planning and nuance in everything, and it worked bc of the genre it fit into. trying to slice and dice certain elements of a season to fit a not even 8 hr runtime isn't great to begin with, but like. you can make the show more adult-oriented without changing what it is at its core, y'know?

now that there's definitely gonna be a good chunk of next episode also set in omashu, i rly hope there's some nod to haru and that it's not smth they cut entirely. tbh, i said everything connects throughout atla's three seasons, and this rly makes me wonder if they get a s2, what they're planning on doing then. i thought before this came out that if they were gonna cut anything, that i actually didn't care for jet's episode that much, but if you cut out jet, then you get rid of one of the more iconic scenes of s2, if not the whole show, where he's being brainwashed by the dai li. everything connects. the friends you make along the way come back to lend their assistance. i really hope the rest of what they'll do with omashu is decent and not wasted time.

I've been seeing a lot of posts about this all over social media, and while the majority of them are fine and just people expressing their opinions, a lot of people from both sides of the argument have been saying some really inexcusable stuff (such as telling people on the opposing side to off themselves, etc) and it's really pissing me off. Pls everyone idc if you agree w me or not but at least try to be mature and respectful when engaging in these conversations bc the goal is learning, understanding, tolerance, and cooperation (working together to find solutions to problems that will benefit all of us). So here's my stance on the issue, and feel free to reply, ask questions, or dm me and start a conversation regardless of your veiws. Just be nice! Here's my opinions, based off my own personal experience:

To start off: pansexuality is not inherently biphobic and/or transphobic

Yes, there are pansexuals who are biphobic, and yes they harm the transgender community in that sense. This is because generally pansexuals who are biphobic say they bisexuals are transphobic and essentially invalidate binary trans people's identity as a man or woman by saying that bisexuals are only attracted to cis men and cis women, not trans people. However, the majority of pansexual people do not think this way. Personally (and most of the pansexuals as talked to agree w me), I do not believe that bisexuality is transphobic. Why? Trans women are women, and trans men are men. If you will not date a trans person simply bc they are trans, then you're transphobic, but that has absolutely nothing to do w your sexuality. My own and most people's understanding of bisexuality (and the definition you get if you Google it, and the definition that most bisexuals will give you), is that bisexuality means attraction to 2 or more genders (which yes, could mean all), with a preference. With. A. Preference. I identified as bi to myself for years, and came out as bi for almost a year, never feeling as if the label fully fit me or that I was fully understood by the community bc there is always sm emphasis on the fact that bisexuals have a preference, while I never have. I don't think anyone is less than anyone else for having a preference, or better than anyone else for not having a preference. Pansexuality simply allows me to be apart of a smaller more specific community that fully understands my experience w attraction. I also know that bisexuality can be used as an umbrella term for anyone attracted to 2+ genders, but in the same way that it's not biphobic for lesbians to prefer to date other lesbians bc of their shared experience, I like having a smaller community that specifically experiences attraction in the same way that I do. I've also seen a lot of people talking about how people seem to think that bisexuals only care about sex, and that pansexuals think theyre better bc they're uwu innocent babies. I'm not entirely sure I'm not on the ace spectrum somewhere but lemme tell you that does not make me any less of a whore. No one is better than anyone else for how much or little they think about or enjoy sex.

2nd; bisexuality is not inherently transphobic.

Yes, there are bisexuals who are transphobic, but this is not the majority of the community. Most bi people consider trans women to be real women (which they are) and trans men to be real men (which they are). I will say it again; if you won't date someone just bc they're trans, you are transphobic, but that has nothing to do w your sexuality. As for non binary people, yes, bisexuality includes them too. Bisexuality is not inherently transphobic.

3rd; all mspec labels are fucking valid.

Whether you identify as bisexual, pansexual, omnisexual, or polysexual, you are valid. You can use bisexuality as an umbrella term if that's what you're most comfortable w, or if the definition perfectly describes your relationship w attraction then that's cool too. If you feel that pansexuality, omnisexuality, or polysexuality better describes you and you enjoy having a smaller more specific community to fully relate to, guess what, that's also cool. No one is better than anyone else, and while there are members of every community who feel that they are, they do not represent everyone.

4th; panphobia/omniphobia/polyphobia only comes from the mspec community, if it comes from outside, it's probably biphobia

Let me explain; there is no problem that comes from people who are not attracted to multiple genders that everyone on this spectrum doesn't face. Bisexuality is a spectrum that we all fall on, an umbrella term that we all fit under. This means that unless it's coming from a person or group on this spectrum, it's probably biphobia you're facing. There are 2 types of biphobia: the biphobia that comes from mspecs, and the biphobia that comes from people who aren't on the spectrum of bisexuality. The biphobia that comes from inside is only against people who identify as bisexual, and the biphobia that comes from outside is against anyone who is attracted to multiple genders. I'm not saying there aren't a few instances of people who arent mspec targeting a specific group and not every mspec identity, but most of the time, if it's from the outside, it's classified as biphobia, bc that includes all of us.

In conclusion, this is what the mspec sexualities are and some of my final thoughts;

Bisexuality = attraction to 2+ genders with or without a preference. It can be used as an umbrella term by the whole mspec community, or as a specific label on it's own. It includes trans and non binary people, and is not a transphobic label. There are transphobic bisexuals, but the fact that they are transphobic and the fact that they are bisexual are not related in any way. They are not more or less than any other mspec identity, or sexuality in general.

Pansexuality = attraction to all genders without a preference. It is not biphobic and/or transphobic. There are biphobic and/or transphobic pansexuals but the fact that they are biphobic and/or transphobic is not related to their pansexuality. Many people who identify as bisexual describe their attraction in the same way as pansexuals. This is 100% valid as bisexuality can be used as an umbrella term and the label you identify w is all about your comfort. They are not more or less than any other mspec identity or sexuality in general.

Omnisexuality = attraction to all genders w a preference. It is not biphobic and/or transphobic. There are biphobic and/or transphobic omnisexuals but the fact that they are biphobic and/or transphobic is not related to their omnisexuality. Many people who identify as bisexual describe their attraction in the same way as omnisexuals. This is 100% valid as bisexuality can be used as an umbrella term and the label you identify w is all about your comfort. This is 100% valid as bisexuality can be used as an umbrella term and the label you identify w is all about your comfort. They are not more or less than any other mspec identity or sexuality in general.

Honestly, I think we all get enough hate from inside and outside the lgbtqia+ community and we need to stick together and have each others backs. It's not the microlabels that are causing problems, it's the exclusionists. Invalidating eo's experiences and saying that biphobia is a bigger problem, panphobia is a bigger problem, omniphobia is a bigger problem, or polyphobia is a bigger problem, isn't gonna help anyone or solve anything. We can have slightly different experiences and still relate and support eo. Also, even if you have a problem w a specific label, pls just ask your questions genuinely, and try to understand the opposing side. Just have a mature conversation. If you're too young or immature to do that then you probably shouldn't be on social media. Calling eo names and telling eo to off ourselves isn't helping anything and there is no excuse for it. I've always loved the lgbtqia+ community for it's love and acceptance, but the more active I become within the community itself, the more I realise how toxic it can be. Sometimes I'm genuinely embarrassed to part of this community. Especially when it's grown adults acting like children that is causing the problems. Pls do better. Also I just want to add that ik there are more mspec identities than this, and you're all so valid. These are just the sexualities that ik enough about to give a proper statement on and the ones I've seen mentioned in this discourse the most. I'm actively trying to learn more about the mspec identities I mentioned, and those that I didn't. Pls feel free to give me any info on any sexuality (doesn't even have to be mspec I just want to learn more so I can be good ally for everyone), or ask me any questions about my own sexuality, and pls let me know if there is anything I should add or any misinformation in this post (I will not be including blatant blankphobia against any mspec identity so don't even try it bitches)
