WHY does no one think camila would be super active in her kids' lives!!!!! that she would just immediately dip from the demon realm and not go back unless necessary!!!!! she's not gonna pull a greg universe and step away from one of the most important parts of her kids' lives just because she's uncomfortable with magic!!!! shes a Noceda!!!!!
she would become good friends with all the adults in luz & vee & hunter's lives. she visits the boiling isles several times a week and hosts big family dinners at her house where she invites all of her kids' friends and parents and teachers. her home is always open to any of her kids' friends or parents, whether they need a shoulder or a friend or a break or a hot meal or even just homework help. she babysits king whenever she can find the time to and he starts calling her "mamila" and no, it doesnt make her choke up every time.
she makes a penstagram account with a cosmic frontier reference for her username to keep in close contact with her new friends and she actually knows how to use it better than hunter does. she's the first person alador goes to when he needs advice about being a parent. she has a permanent offer to stay at the owl house or at alador's home whenever she needs. she meets with gilbert, harvey, perry, steve, and raine for brunch every sunday morning.
she and principal bump meet and he is absolutely honored to meet her and he gives her the opportunity to give extracurricular after school lessons at hexside about the human version of beast-healing. she does a single lesson once a month, but does open up the chance for one or two older kids at a time to shadow her at her vet clinic for a day as a little field trip (viney always gets herself at the top of the list and becomes well known around the clinic) and she is lovingly teased by her co-workers for always picking up "strays".
she is one of the people on scene during the gathering of the guards who had all been murdered by their own creator and left to rot in the dark for decades. she doesn't have the strength in her to be one of the ones collecting the remains of all these men and boys who once had her son's face, but she stands by hunter's side and keeps him from falling to pieces and they help make sure all the golden guards all finally given a chance for peaceful rest.
she helps gus with preparing the curriculum for his classes on the human realm in eda's new school. she is there at all of the emerald entrails' flyer derby matches and wears green face paint to every single one and cheers the loudest. she's the one who takes amity to her meeting with the dean of the university of abominations when alador gets fireflu and is stuck in bed. she is the one who figures out hunter's never had a proper birthday party and quickly remedies that.
she meets the elder clawthornes and absorbs every piece of wisdom they give her as if they were her own grandparents. she learns palisman care from dell clawthorne so she can better take care of stringbean whenever luz leaves her palisman with her mom. she gets roped into learning how to carve wood by hunter during the start of his apprenticeship under dell & the bat queen.
her name ends up in the history books of the boiling isles, and not just for being known as the mother of luz the human. she becomes known for being the reason of the sudden boom in witches who focus in beast-healing and the reinvention of the entire industry on the boiling isles. she is known as one of the first people to rediscover and establish contact and fight for the protection of all the basilisks scattered across the boiling isles, who were previously thought to be extinct.
she would NOT just stand by and watch her children come and go between realms with her house serving as the port but not the embassy. she was once that very child, caught between what felt like different worlds, feeling as if she might be forced to choose one or the other because her parents were too uncomfortable with what felt like half of her soul. she would refuse to let luz, vee, or hunter feel as if they have to angle those halves away from her so they dont have to watch her wince at them.
camila noceda would make an effort to make the demon realm a part of herself, too, so that no matter where her kids settled themselves down in the future, they would still always feel at home with her.

Talking about Side Order and... Marina. (SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!)
You know, i really enjoyed Side Order, like it wasn't perfect or anything but i had such a blast with it and if they continue to expand on it we could have something REALLY amazing. My reaction to the GOD DAMN TUTORIAL BOSS GOT ME HYPERVENTILATING! IM NOT JOKING! IT WAS SO EXCITING AND SHOCKING!!! THE FINAL BOSS WAS INCREDIBLE TOO! I was singing along to Spectrum Obligato and WHEN THEY BROUGHT IN THE STUFF FROM THE LIVE CONCERT VERSION OF EBB AND FLOW MY JAW DROPPED!!!
However i gotta admit, the story could have been better, what was the deal with the Octoling engineers Marina was talking about? That goes completely nowhere and i thought it was gonna build to something with the repeat playthroughs of the final boss.
And of course, the biggest missed opportunity in my opinion, Marina Agitando.
Tumblr media
Now look, i wanna say right off the bat, the design is excellent, it was so smart to bring back her Order outfit and make her into a giant abomination that moves in such a weird way that makes you feel uncomfortable. When i saw her for the very first time when you enter the room, i stood there for at least a solid minute in complete disbelief and shock seeing a giant Marina in some octopus tentacle heart thingy that beats and pumps with the music. The song that plays too "Unconscience" is such a BANGER and honestly it rivals Octo Callie's Bomb Rush Blush remix in my opinion.
The build up for this was pretty good too, seeing Marina say "help me" before she was knocked unconscious and then possessed by Overlorder BROKE ME! I was like "OH NO! ITS HAPPENING AGAIN! NOT MARINA!!" The build up to the 10th floor was so anxiety inducing because you know in the back of your mind that Marina is gonna fight you but you don't know what it's gonna look like, if you were there since Splatoon 2 and have watched Pearl and Marina since the beginning then this build up is even more anxiety inducing and its pretty damn good. And once you free Marina she feels so sorry about what happened and helps you out to put things right, heck she goes through a small character arc of embracing chaos.... but... i have to say...
It is unfortunately not executed that well or with any depth in my opinion because they repeated the whole thing of "oh no a character we know is evil because of (quote on quote) mind control!!!! oh noooo!!" Which is a tired trope in this series that needs to stop or else I'm gonna get REALLYYYYYY pissed off.
Tumblr media
I've done enough ranting about Callie's villain arc and how that has been misinterpreted and stuff, but for Marina, i really wish they didn't do the whole "oh no a character is evil because of an evil character oh nooo!! we gotta save them!!" thing again and i wish Marina was more of a villain with a sad motivation for her actions. As much as its cute to see Pearl and Marina act all flirty with each other in Side Order, it kinda ruins the mysterious and dark tone of the story that was teased from the trailers and the tutorial in my opinion. Everything is also explained so quickly early on which really sucks. I really wish Marina was actually conscious throughout her time as Marina Agitando and most of it should have been her fault. She does blame herself for creating Overlorder but it's kinda brushed aside quickly and Marina ends up being totally fine and free of guilt. There isn't enough depth to it which is so lame and a missed opportunity.
Marina is flawed, she makes mistakes and acts emotional and angry sometimes. We have seen a side of Marina where she snaps at Pearl when she loses Splatfests and has shown signs that she still hasn't recovered from her time before she met Pearl.
Tumblr media
She picked team Order because she was genuinely scared that her new life would fall apart and she doesn't wanna lose the people (especially Pearl) that she's met and grown to love. Marina is also heavily theorized to be on the autism spectrum and as someone who is autistic, i can see myself in Marina, they could have really explored Marina's psyche and mental health in Side Order but they just... didn't. Instead she's put to sleep and controlled by her ai child and all of the focus is put on stopping it like a traditional "oh no we gotta stop an evil ai!! oh noo!!" story... ugh... I mean Smollusk is cute i guess but there's not a ton to them and they come off as yet another "evil ai that wants order and control!! roarrr!!!"
Tumblr media
From reading the most recent interview on Side Order and seeing the concept art, they said that they wanted to tell a story about Marina losing herself to a machine that she created. Could you imagine how tragic it would have been to learn more about Marina and how she's so wrapped up in anxiety that she decides to make this replica of Inkopolis Square and make the Memverse? Maybe at first she makes it to help Sanitized Octolings just like in the dlc, but then maybe due to overwork and burnout (which Pearl mentions in the tutorial by the way), her emotions and anxiety become so strong that she becomes consumed by it, this obsession of order and trying to achieve happiness takes over her and then she gets the idea to spread this order to the real world, where her friends can be "happy" and "safe." Maybe Overlorder is still there but they just whisper to Marina, manipulate and point her in the right direction to continue to her mission of order instead of just fucking knocking her out and using her as a meat puppet for 5 minutes.
Could you imagine how much better the build up would have been to not see Marina until you get to the 30th floor for the first time and you got to unlock her diary entries beforehand? Seeing her thought process and her slow descent into becoming an antagonist. I'm not sure how they would have changed the permanent upgrades but they could have thought of something man. I get that they wanted to subvert expectations but, i think they should have gone WAY further with Marina Agitando.
I was waiting for Pearl and Marina to have their "Tidal Rush" moment where it's this emotional battle between the two, could you imagine how DEVISTATING a remix of Ebb and Flow would have been if it had gotten that "Tidal Rush" type of remix? Pearl singing her parts in this chaotic and emotional way, on the brink of tears trying to get Marina back and calm her down, and Marina trying to fight back against her words, not wanting to believe her because she's so wrapped up trying to make them both happy in her way. She's so caught up in order that she has forgotten what Pearl wants, that Pearl wants to be with her and go against any obstacle that stands in their way together. God i would have cried seeing that I'm not gonna lie. Maybe once Marina starts to think rationally, she breaks free from the machine and then leaps into Pearl's arms, and then we have to go back up the 30 floors to fight Overlorder and we slowly see Marina learn to embrace chaos throughout the floors instead of it just being at the final boss.
Tumblr media
I really do feel like Splatoon has this issue of trying to appeal way too hard to kids and being really scared to dive into the flaws of these characters. They are so avoidant of being more serious and they hide it away in optional collectables and obscure posts on social media that creates misinformation and stories that feel way too undeveloped. They just say "oh this character has been brainwashed!!" which is such a lazy and bullshit trope they slap on these characters to avoid getting into their flaws for some stupid reason. (Hell that word has lost all meaning to me now to be honest. Like no, Callie wasn't "brainwashed" per say, hypnosis is not brainwashing or mind control I've said that a trillion times in other blog posts but whatever. Agent 3 was knocked out and had no clue on what was happening. They weren't "brainwashed" they were used as a puppet from a fucking goopy telephone for five minutes while they were asleep. Maybe its poor translation i don't know.)
I know that Splatoon is made for all ages and primarily for children but, i find that to be a stupid excuse for bad storytelling, a good story with depth that's explored and set up properly can be applied to all kinds of age groups not just adults. And the adults that say that shit too, why do you think like that? Why do you wish to dismiss that sort of thing in media? So what if it's made for kids? Adults write these stories and plant themes and arcs into them. Why do you think people cried over the Rosalina storybook in Mario Galaxy and think its the best part of that game? You don't want that kind of stuff in games because "they are made for kids"? Why do you think there are so many adults in the Splatoon community hmm?
I am so worried for Deep Cut in the next game because i really don't want this to happen again, i want an actual proper villain arc for either Frye or Shiver. No hypnosis, no brainwashing, no mind control. Just a pure fucking villain arc caused by the flaws of the characters and without the involvement of a third party. Please, i wanna see growth in these characters that is explored way more clearly and better. Or maybe don't do a villain arc again and just have Deep Cut be fully happy with each other and develop their relationship more with lore and backstory. PLEASE!
Anyways ramble over, thank you for reading!

Lumity Episode Master List
Well, this is it gang. It's over. The Owl House is finished. Part of me will always be bitter about Disney gutting season three.
BUT at the same time, part of me is glad that The Owl House is over. Because that means lumity is canon forever and nobody can change that. What's that Disney? You don't like the gay? Well too bad. The only way you can change it is to make more episodes which I know you're not gonna do.
Nana-nana, boo-boo. Stick your head in doo-doo.
It's been a fantastic journey and if you ever wanna go through it again, there's always Disney Plus. But if just want your lumity fix without going through every single episode, then here you go.
I did it for starco and now I'm doing it for lumity. Here's every single episode the led up to lumity.
Spoilers for a show that we painfully know has ended.
"I Was a Teenage Abomination"
The revolution was a lie. Do you remember? When we were young and you wanted to set the world on fire? Sorry that's a reference to a song I like.
You can't do a list about a ship without actually starting the ship. The episode where Luz and Amity first meet and thank jeebus they did. Personally, I thought the first episode was okay and I didn't like the second one. But this episode was amazing. 10/10.
Luz feels like she isn't learning as much as she could from Eda so she sneaks into a witch school. With witch kids. We meet Willow and then we meet Amity, who I honestly thought was going to be some kind of Draco Malfoy bully type character. And she's kinda sorta like that in this episode. Little did we know the love that was gonna blossom here.
"Covention"
I get it. It's like coven and convention. OH now I get it. Well, we can't have them be enemies to lovers without them being enemies first. Willow and Gus invite Luz, Eda and King to the local covention where Amity just happens to be checking out the Emperor's Coven panel.
Yeah, she's still upset over the whole 'pretending to be an abomination thing.' We get some classic Malfoy-esque bullying from Amity that pushes Luz to challenge her. Since the Clawthorne sisters refuse to have one up over the other, they both cheat, embarrassing Amity.
The scene where Luz apologizes to Amity was the first hint that Amity would go beyond a Malfoy-bully character. Even though Amity was still upset, she broke the pact and Luz held no ill will towards her.
"Lost in Language"
I'm lost in language and I don't know what I'm thinking about. I'm back on my feet. Eager to be what you want me. Sorry. That's another song.
We get the first seed of the actual lumity ship and my first "I ship them" episode. Luz goes to the local library and the show shock everyone by showing Amity...reading to kids in the kids corner. You guys gotta remember that at the time this blew everyone's minds. The bully character reading to kids in the library? And they love her? Everyone's view of Amity changed, especially Luz's. Then we met Edric and Emira, who unlike Amity, are super cool and nice. All of which plays to the theme of the episode.
We (and Luz) discover that Amity is a lot more than she seems. She's not the bully character. Same with Edric and Emira. They're not the cool ones; they're the bullies. And that's the same way Amity feels about Luz. But with a little teamwork and a horrifying children's character come to life, Amity agrees to try to be a friendlier witch.
"Adventures in the Elements"
We wouldn't see Amity again for another several episodes. Thank goodness for that other country airing the episode early, am I right, people? Anyway.
Luz finally goes out with Eda for some serious witch training after Amity (oh cramity) warns her about the baby class. We get Amity making an actual effort to be nice to Luz, which almost completely goes to hell when Luz takes Amity's training wand. But then she does the "You'll only get hurt bit," and we see more of those little glimpses.
It's safe to say that after this episode Luz and Amity actually did become friends. No ill will on either side.
"Understanding Willow"
Luz and Amity became friends in the previous episode. Just Luz and Amity. Willow and Gus were a different story. Especially Willow. This is that story. It's the full story.
It's revealed that Willow and Amity used to be friends until Amity's parents forced Amity to push Willow away, something Willow still resents her for.
In the lumity side of things, Luz starts wiggling her way into Amity's heart with her upbeat, positive attitude. It's infectious. We even get a lumity hug, even if it was one sided.
"Enchanting Grom Fright"
Come on. Come on. Do I even have to at this point? The episode that blew this ship into the stratosphere.
It's Grom season and everyone's getting a date. Except for Amity who is unfortunately named the grom queen which means she has to fight a horrifying shapeshifting monster. Horray for The Boiling Isles being a safe and sensible place to live. Luz, being Luz, takes Amity's place so she doesn't have her worst fear come to life in front of everyone. But Luz is unable to face her greatest fear, and it takes the power of Wan to put Grom back in his place.
I love this episode. I love talking about this episode. I love how Amity is staring at her note because she's contemplating putting it in Luz's locker. I love how she says "Watch it, nitwit," before she realizes who she's talking to. I love how Luz and Amity randomly meet at the woods. Is it sloppy writing? Fuck you. I love when Amity grabs her dress when Grom tears her note. That's such a kid thing to do.
This is already way too long. I should move on.
"Wing It Like Witches"
The final part of the original lumity trilogy. We get the stupid fakey made up magical sport. Fuck you, Harry Potter. And we also get Boscha being a royal B. Someone tell her to see you next Tuesday. Am I right, people?
Luz, being Luz, wants to stand up to Boscha for Willow but, being Luz, makes things so much worse. Amity pops in and out of the episode to try to help but the gay panic is too much for her. Amity admits, out loud, that she loves how Luz seems to always get herself in over her head when she's trying to help someone. But they lose anyway. Fuck you, Harry Potter.
Enchanting Grom Fright was huge. But this episode was a bunch of fun. Fuck you, Harry Potter.
Tumblr media
"Escaping Expulsion"
After breaking Amity's leg because we didn't want her anywhere near the season one finale, she finally makes her grand return. We also meet her parents and Odalia is one of the biggest Karen's I've ever seen. Luz gets expelled which is bad but she's more concerned over Willow and Gus. She tries to cut a deal with thicc mama Blight, but gets roped into product demonstration. Odalia tries to kill a child and fails when Amity appears from the rafters like Sting and announces to the world, "Stay away from my Luz."
It was awesome. We get a return blush and Luz officially starts crushing on Amity back. Reminds me of another post I did long ago telling everyone to be freaking patient. This episode also marks Amity being a part of the Hexsquad, but not one hundred percent into the friend group just yet.
"Through the Looking Glass Ruins"
I'm looking at you through the glass. Don't know how much time has past...I forgot the rest of the song.
It's funny because I guess the lumity stuff was actually the B-plot to this episode. This episode was very important for a lot of reasons. It introduced Phillip's diary, the galderstones, Matt and Gus kinda became friends. But we're not here to talk about that.
Luz discovers the there was a human in The Boiling Isles who donated a journal to the Bonesboro library. And since Amity works at the library, you know the whole two stones thing. And we see Luz crushing hard on Amity for the first time.
Unfortunately, Luz does get Amity in trouble again for like the fourth(?) time or something. That puts a real dent in things. But Luz comes through for Amity (offscreen) and gets her her job back. Amity makes the first move right at the end of the episode marking the beginning of the purple Amity era.
"Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door"
Hey, hey, hey! Please tell me I'm not the only one that got that reference. Don't make me feel old.
This is it. The most important episode since Grom. Dana and the crew knew that the series had been cut short so they had to speed things up. So they turned to...Hooty? Yeah. Okay. Sure. Whatever.
Luz is torn between finding a way back to the human realm and trying to ask out Amity. And you know that old saying about chasing two rabbits? Yeah. Hooty's solution? Kidnap Amity and force the two into the tunnel of love. Amity is actually totally digging the tunnel of love but Luz is afraid that Amity is going to make fun of her. Both ideas backfire and Amity starts to the think that she's been rejected already.
But that's to Hooty losing his mind, and a little advice from Eda, Luz asks out Amity. And she says YES! Lumity canon! In episode 8 of season 2! That's how you do it, Star vs the Forces of Evil! You give the people what they want. And now that Amity is Luz's girlfriend, she can help get more info out of the echo mouse.
And the love stuff too.
Tumblr media
"Eclipse Lake"
Oh right. Amity. The girlfriend of Luz. The girl who is in a romantic relationship with Luz. Luz's girlfriend. That's Amity.
We have the first episode of Luz and Amity being a couple and hoo-boy, did Amity make sure to let us know. Nervous about having her first serious girlfriend, Amity wants to prove to Luz and herself that she is an awesome girlfriend. By going into the titan's veins to steal some of its blood.
As one does.
Hunter tries to prey on Amity's (and his own) insecurities about having to prove your worth. But it takes King and some well placed emoji messages to remind Amity why she fell in love with Luz in the first place. That Luz is so different from her family and her social circle. She doesn't have to prove anything to Luz. Luz wears her affection on her sleeve.
"Follies at the Coven Day Parade"
Night of the living dead is on its way. I keep making a lot of song references here.
This is the episode were the couple hits their first snag as a couple. Luz has a serious problem communicating when something is wrong (more on that later). After the traumatizing events of the previous episode, Luz can't bring herself to tell Amity that she promised her mom that she'd leave forever, especially since Amity is doing so much to get closer to Luz like learning Spanish. But Amity ain't no dummy. She can tell when Luz is hiding something. It's made even worse when Amity gets a hold of Luz's phone, which anyone who has been in a relationship could tell you, is a trap.
Luckily, trust and compassion win out in the end. Luz tells Amity exactly what happened, and they communicate. But if Luz was honest with Amity in the first place, we'd only have half an episode.
"Any Sport in a Storm"
Again, Lumity takes the B-plot.
While huntlow is becoming a thing, Luz and Amity try to search for the author of the Azura book series. On the way they parody fan theories in the nicest way I've ever seen in a show. And the big twist of the author of Azura turns out to be that there is no twist. It really is just a fantasy book series that Luz really likes that sometimes washes up in The Boiling Isles.
This episode is important because it serves to remind people what Luz and Amity have in common. Pointing out the fact that the two girls are different is fun, but sometimes you just have to go back to basics and remember that Luz and Amity just really like each other, get along, and are both nerds who like the same book series. And that whole opposites attract thing is bullshit. The key is compliments, not opposties.
"Reaching Out"
Hoo-boy. This one is heavy.
It's a special day for Luz, which is not a good thing. She wants to do anything but be alone with her thoughts. Good thing Amity shows up with a problem that could distract them all day.
Amity thinks that signing up for the Bonesboro Brawl could bring her closer to her dad (since her mom is obviously a lost cause) and ditches coven tryouts to compete for the championship title. Luz tries to help, but when Amity has the competition in the bag, Luz tries to help even more to keep herself busy.
But, as usual, Luz gets Amity in trouble and it really hurts this time. Not only did Luz get Amity in trouble (again), but she won't talk to her (again). When Amity has had enough, Luz does what she only does as a last resort and actually communicates.
That's when everything changes. It's the anniversary of Luz's dad's death. And usually Luz and Camila spend the day together. You know, to make it hurt less. But this year, she can't be with her.
This episode is important because after seeing Amity at a low point an unfair amount of times, this time Amity is seeing Luz at her lowest point. Amity makes this one face that, to me, says that Amity is shocked (to say the least) that her girlfriend was in pain this whole time. But she was so wrapped up in her own problems that she didn't notice. Or at least, that's my interpretation.
Luz and Amity make up and pick flowers together. It wasn't pretty or that romantic. It hurt and was kinda sad. But if you want to paint a pretty picture, sometimes you're gonna use some dark colors. And they're stronger for it.
"Clouds on the Horizon"
Oh yeah, baby. You know what this episode is.
When all hope seemed lost, it turns out not everyone believed Bellos' promises of paradise on the Day of Unity. While the adults are trying to stop the draining spell, Luz is sent on a slightly less dangerous mission of rescuing Amity from her mom's house arrest. Thicc Mama Blight even broke Amity's tamagachi thing. That bitch. See her next Tuesday.
But hope comes in the form of a Noceda as Luz enters through her bedroom window, Romeo & Juliet style. She promises Amity a slice-of-life future and Amity can't hold back anymore and
Tumblr media
Gifs you can hear. Am I right, people?
We get it. Our first kiss. Our babies grow up so fast.
Actually no, that took forever, but you get my meaning.
Season 3: "Thanks to Them" "For the Future" "Watching and Dreaming"
Okay yeah, this is a bit of a cop out, but also, not really. Since Disney decided to be, well Disney, season three was cut short. Just enough to finish the story, but not enough to get lumity centric episodes. Everything was mashed together into 3 forty minute episodes.
Yes, we do have a lot of important lumity moments, but they're generally spread around all three episodes. None of them are more important than the other.
"Thanks to Them" had Luz coming out to her mom and introducing Amity. "For the Future" had Amity comforting Luz about her palisman. "Watching and Dreaming" had more kisses.
Unfortunately, I have to end the list by just saying watch all of them or none of them. Not very specific for a post that's supposed to be a specific list. Sorry, gang.

Thank You, For Being You
Isaac Lahey x Fem! Reader
Restraint
Omega Part 1 | Omega Part 2 | Shape Shifted | Ice Pick | Abomination | Venomous | Frenemy | Raving | Party Guessed | Fury
Prompt: With Jackson out of the van, he's become impossible to deal with.
a/n: okay guys I won't lie, I looked over this chapter but wasn't very through so there's probably a few mistakes sorryyyyy
*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧*.✧
Stiles and Scott had sent you back home so they could talk to Sheriff without raising any suspicion on you. That proved to be pointless since when you got back home you ended back in the car, heading to the police station. Only you weren't going by yourself, you were with Melissa and she was not happy.
You two had reached the police station and other than the occasional questions to see if you were involved, Melissa was silent. Not like she needed to say anything to convey her anger, she was practically dripping in it. Walking into the police station didn't make it better either because down the hallway there was Scott and Stiles, sitting in an interrogation room being informed of the new restraining order against them.
There was a silence between everyone in the room when Sheriff had finished his list, only for his son to be the one to break it, "What about school?"
"You can attend classes while attempting to maintain a fifty foot distance."
"Okay, what if we both have to use the bathroom at the same time and there's only two stalls available and they're only right next to each other?" He was met with nothing but a look of irritation from his father, "I'll just hold it."
They were finally let out of the room and now you were witnessing Stiles and his dad going back and forth while you passed by with Melissa and Scott in front of you.
"It's not just this," She had turned him around, "Although, a restraining order is a new low that I didn't think that you would reach quite this soon. It's everything on top of it." By now you had zoned out for a bit since it was all directed at him that is until she got to the punishment.
"Then no... no Stiles."
"What, no Stiles?" You hadn't even realized the boy was behind you until you heard his voice.
"No Stiles! And that goes for you too!" She pointed at you. Your eyes widened as you raised your hands.
"What!? What did I do?"
In the end, Melissa gave her punishment saying she would be in the car after she had come to the conclusion that all this was because of Scott's dad. "I'm the worst son ever," Scott claimed leaning against the wall. Stiles had sighed slumping against the wall as well.
"Well, I'm not exactly winning any prizes either."
~
When you had gotten home, you were laying in bed just trying to sleep despite everything going on. However the buzzing of your phone was very distracting. You finally had enough of the constant disturbance to your attempts to sleep. Grabbing it, the light blinding you slightly, you read the texts from a surprising party.
__
This is Derek
Come to the station tomorrow
Urgent
__
Great, now you definitely weren't getting any sleep. How did he even get your number? It must have been Isaac, who else could it have been? You closed your eyes, forcing yourself to fall asleep as if it was the last thing you would ever do.
The next morning you found yourself in the one place you never thought you would be back to, the abandoned station. You also never thought you'd be back because Derek, of all people, demanded you to. You let out an unsure sigh as you walked down the rickety stairs for the second time. You could hear the voices of Derek, Erica, and Isaac discussing the full moon.
"Oh my, these look comfortable," you could see Erica picking up chains as she spoke.
"You said you were gonna teach us to change whenever we wanted," Isaac said.
"There hasn't been time," Derek replied as he shuffled through the chest of what was essentially medieval torture devices.
Isaac wasn't in the least bit pleased with his Alpha's answer, "But if you have to lock us up during the full moon, then that means you're alone against the Argents."
"They haven't found us," the Alpha sang walking away.
"Yet! So how about we forget the Kanima?"
"We can't! There was something about the way Gerard looked at it. He wasn't afraid... at all. I don't know what he knows or what he's planning. But I'm sure about one thing, we have to find it first."
"My, my, I always seem to walk in during these big speeches of yours Derek," you bounded your way down the last few stairs catching the three werewolves' attentions.
"(Y/N)? What are you doing here?" The curly haired werewolf didn't realize but his voice made you shiver slightly.
"I was actually just wondering that exact thing," you turned your glance to Derek, "What do you want Derek?"
"You're a Nymph."
Your eyes widened but then your face flipped to confusion, what did that have to do with anything? "Okay, and what about it? How do you even know?"
He pointed to your bag, "The book you held up the last time you were here, your eyes and from what Erica and Isaac told me you did at the school."
You kissed your teeth, "Okay so is that all you called me here for? Just to tell me that you knew?"
"I need something from you."
"No." Your words had cut through the air without any hesitation. Derek tilted his head from irritation, "I know you don't like me-."
"You're right, I don't."
"This isn't for me, it's for them."
You took a pause and then nodded, acknowledging his statement, "I'm not sure if it's true or not but there's a spell that's rumored to have been created to reduce the abilities of werewolves. It was mainly created for purposes like the full moon. Do you think you could find it?" His words made you hesitate, still you gave him an unsure nod, "I think so, I'll need some time though."
Derek nodded in understanding, "Thank you."
"Yeah, sure. I've got to get to school." You turned and made your way towards the stairs trying not to look at Isaac on your way out.
~
When you got to school you met the boys at the library where they were waiting for you and Allison. She had shown up only moments after you did. You saw her slowly walk through the aisles before coming to the point where only one shelf remained between you three and her.
She slid her tablet through the shelf allowing Scott to take it and start to look over the scripture. "It's everything Lydia can translate. And trust me, she was very confused." Scott looked through the books towards her, "Yeah, what'd you tell her?"
"That we're part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures." Allison and Scott shared a small laugh as you smiled.
"I am part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures," Stiles said with awkwardness.
Allison stood shocked, "Oh. Great."
Your hand flew to your mouth to snuffle your laugh that was on the verge of coming out and Stiles gave you a raised eyebrow before glancing at the dark haired girl with a straight smile.
"Okay does it say how to find out who's controlling him," Scott asked.
"Not really. But Stiles was right about the murderers." Queue the spastic boy's small yell of victory. "It calls the Kanima a weapon of vengeance," Allison continued, "There's a story in there about this South American priest who uses the Kanima to execute murderers in his village."
"Alright, see? So maybe it's not all that bad," Stiles remarked.
Allison countered back almost instantly, "Until the bond grew strong enough that it killed whoever he wanted it to." You nodded quickly, "So bad, very bad."
Stiles agreed with you, "All bad, all very, very bad."
"Here's the thing though, the Kanima is actually supposed to be a werewolf. But it can't be..." You looked over the Omega's shoulder reading the text, "Until it resolves that in its past which manifested it."
"Okay if that means Jackson could use a few thousand hours of therapy, I could've told you that myself." You scoffed at Stiles' words, "Seriously, that dude is all sorts of messed up."
Allison raised her head slightly, "What if it has something to do with his parents? His real parents." Scott turned to you and Stiles, "Yeah, does anybody actually know what happened to them?"
You could almost see the flicker of light that turned on in Stiles' eyes,
"Lydia might."
"What if she doesn't know anything," Scott acknowledged the possibility. You rocked your head side to side in thought, "Something tells me Lydia knows a lot more than she lets on."
"Well, he doesn't have a restraining order against me, so I'll talk to him myself." You looked at Allison, "He doesn't have one on me either. Do you want me to come with you?" She quickly denied your offer, "No my mom is watching the cameras practically every second, we don't want to draw suspicion."
Scott drew a blank, "Okay, what do I do?"
"You have a make-up exam, remember," She reminded him.
Scott looked over at the two of you for back up, which he never got as shown by the two in sync nods, "Seriously, you desperately need to raise your grades," you added on. The couple went on to have their moment, until Stiles interrupted it with pushing his head through the shelf. After Allison had shoved him back, all four of you went on about your days the best as you could.
Stiles had set out on a mission to get information out of Lydia, Allison was on her way to try and talk to Jackson, Scott went to take his make-up test, and you were trying to not run into a certain tall werewolf.
All morning it felt like he was just everywhere and since you weren't assigned any sort of task you were practically forced to notice. Every hallway you went down, every corner you turned, he was there. It was beginning to irk you. You finally had to come to a stop at your locker and you could already feel that it was a bad decision.
"Hey, beautiful. Been looking for you."
You sighed, slowly closing your locker shut and coming face to face with the same boy who you've been trying to avoid. "Hi, Isaac," he gave a slight pout at your response, "What, no smile? I thought you would be happy to see me." His attitude made you sneer, "Don't play games with me, Lahey. I'll smack you." Your feet slammed into the floor as you walked away, heavy with anger.
"Okay, okay, too much. Seriously, (Y/N), wait up."
"No."
Your response didn't slow him down, in fact, it sped him up. Isaac had jumped forward in front of you, blocking you from leaving.
"Please just talk to me, I'm dying sweetheart," he pleaded.
You stopped and gave him a once over, your arms crossed, "You look fine to me." He groaned out of frustration, you turned once more heading for the opposite direction even if that meant being late for class. "Also, don't call me sweetheart, you don't get the privilege."
He, once again, dashed in front of you finally placing his hands on your shoulders, "Okay, okay, look I know you're still upset at me. I get it, okay, but can we please just talk. We have a killer lizard on the loose, I feel like that's a serious issue."
Your eyes narrowed as you realized what he was actually here for, "You're trying to get me to tell you who it is."
"So, you guys do know."
A scoff traveled out of your mouth with such power it was comedic, "Of course we do and I'm not telling you. Now, will you stop following me?"
"I can't, orders."
"See, again with the orders! This is exactly why I'm mad at you in the first place! Not to mention, you kissing me out of nowhere," you exclaimed. The hallway had pretty much cleared out by now, leaving just you two plus a few skippers.
Isaac's face scrunched up slightly, "What, you're mad because I kissed you?"
Out of reflex your hand shot out, punching his shoulder, "That's all you got from that?" When you didn't receive an answer, just a look of expectation you continued to gripe, "I'm not mad you kissed me. I'm upset because it's messing with my head."
"But you kissed me back," he argued, cluelessly.
You wiped your face out of irritation, "Yes, I know. But-"
A panicked gasp left you as you felt the familiar heat of your eyes glowing and one thought enter your mind.
Allison
"(Y/N)? What's wrong?"
Without much thought or care you shoved passed Isaac, sprinting towards the locker room. You could hear the calls of your name coming from the boy who was now also following after you. It didn't stop you though, nothing did until you got to the locker room door. You threw your body's weight at the closed door, slamming through to see Allison on the floor and Scott throwing Jackson around.
You crouched beside her grabbing her shoulders to gain her attention, "Hey, are you okay?" She nodded shakily and you secured your arms around her in a tight hug.
By now Isaac had arrived coming into the battleground that was the boy's locker room. You saw his head quickly travel from the two fighting boys and then to you, unsure of what to do.
He didn't need to think any longer as Jackson had thrown Scott back through the other door and into the hallway. Allison and you had finally gotten off the floor and rushed out the same door. You found Stiles and Erica already trying to separate the two. Erica had a death grip on Jackson where as it took you, Stiles, and Allison to keep Scott from going back for Jackson.
Isaac was just behind you and Mr. Harris had turned the corner yelling to try and break up the fight. "Hey! ENOUGH! Enough."
"What do you idiots think you're doing? Jackson! Calm down!" Harris had turned to the Omega, addressing him, "Mr. McCall, you wanna explain yourself? Stilinski? (Y/N)?" He had looked to you finally for answers but you couldn't give him any, from the lack of ideas for a lie and the lack of breath you had from trying to hold back Scott.
You felt Isaac gently place a hand on your waist, giving you some much need physical and emotional support.
"You dropped this." Everyone had looked behind them to see Matt holding Allison's tablet out to Scott, which was intercepted from Mr. Harris. "You and you," he started pointing at the two boys who had been fighting, "Actually, all of you... Detention. 3 o'clock."
~
After school hours had arrived and the whole lot of you were entering the library for detention. Stiles, Scott, and you had sat at one table; Allison made her way to another just across from you, Jackson and Matt followed her lead. You felt a presence next to you and when you turned you were met with the eyes of the blonde werewolf. You rolled your eyes going back to keeping your attention on the two boys across from you.
You heard the sliding of a chair coming closer to your table and then another body had joined you. Isaac, who had given you a slight smile, did nothing but keep his attention on you.
"We can't be in detention together. I have a restraining order against these tools," Jackson motioned to your two best friends.
Harris had replied back with an undertone of sass, "All these tools?"
"No, just us tools," Stiles answered gesturing to him and Scott.
"Fine. You two, over there." Scott and Stiles moved up to the front table leaving you behind with the Beta wolves. You let out a huff and slumped slightly in your chair. Then Mr. Harris started to make is way to the library's front desk, turning his back away from you. When you saw an opening you quickly and quietly slid out of your chair and into the one right next to Scott.
The werewolf was rocking his body out of anger and pounded his fist onto the table, "I'm gonna kill him." Stiles pointed at the boy, "No, you're not. You're going to find out who's controlling him and then you're gonna help save him."
You cocked an eyebrow, your arms crossed, "But you're more than welcomed to kill the one controlling him, to release your rage."
"No," Scott turned his head back to you two, rapidly shaking his head, "You were right, let's kill him."
"Oh, no," Stiles sighed.
You fixed your posture and changed the subject to try and ease the mood, "So, why were you with Erica?" Stiles gave you his signature sarcastic look, "Really, why were you with Isaac?"
"I asked you first."
"Fine, she caught me in the hall, she might know what happened to Jackson's parents." You nodded satisfied with the answer and with the ease you could start to feel come off Scott. "Now you."
Your eyes snapped up, "What?" Stiles scoffed a laugh, "Why were you with Isaac?" Scott had glanced at you, curiosity in his eyes, he clearly wanted to know as well.
Mumbled words left your mouth as you casted your gaze onto the table. Stiles cupped his hand over his ear mocking you, "I'm sorry, what was that?"
"He found me in the hallway, he didn't want me to be mad at him anymore," you mumbled once more.
Both boys had looked at you in confusion, "The Lydia thing," Scott asked. You shook your head slowly as Stiles had slid his hands onto the table in a questioning motion, "Then what are you mad at him for?"
"He kissed me," you whispered.
There was a tick of silence before Stiles ended it, "Okay forget Jackson, kill Isaac." You groaned, "Stop, you guys, I'm fine. Just confused is all."
"No, no. He doesn't get to just do that after everything he's done and just expect you to be okay with it. He can't play with your emotions like that," argued Stiles. Scott hadn't said anything yet, just had slid his hand into yours and squeezed for comfort.
"It's okay, we'll deal with that when we don't have a killer lizard and a controlling freak to deal with," you concluded.
You three sat in silence for a little while and then ideas started to flow, "Hey." You and Scott both looked at the boy across from you, "What if it's Matt? I mean this whole thing comes back to the video, right?"
"He is kind of a creep," you agreed.
"Danny said that Matt was the one who found the two hours of footage missing," Scott argued.
"Exactly! He's trying to throw suspicion off himself," Stiles exclaimed still within a whisper.
Scott looked back to Matt before going back to Stiles, "So he makes Jackson kill Isaac's dad, one of Argent's hunters, and the mechanic working on your Jeep?"
"Yes!"
"Why?"
"Because..." Stiles' gaze was on the table, "He's evil." You snorted a soft laugh as Scott argued again, "You just don't like him."
"I don't blame him," you added, "he used to always give me these weird looks when he first joined the team."
"That guy bugs me. I don't know what it is," Stiles leaned back in his chair, still observing the odd boy, "Just look at his face." You three looked back to see Matt offering Jackson chips. To which led to the Omega giving Stiles an unconvinced look, "Any other theories?"
You heard Jackson start to make noises of discomfort, followed by Matt and Mr. Harris asking if the boy was alright. Jackson left claiming to just need water and Harris followed closely behind. "No one leaves their seats."
When the door closed behind them, without a word, you three did just what you were told not to do. You got out of your seats and rushed right back to where Isaac and Erica were sitting. Stiles sitting next to Erica, Scott across from her, and you next to Scott, with Isaac on the end.
"Stiles says you know how Jackson's parents died," Scott concluded.
"Maybe."
"Talk," demanded the boy. She put her pen down, closing her book and starting her story, "It was a car accident. My dad was the insurance investigator and every time he sees Jackson drive by in his Porsche, he makes some comment about the huge settlement he'll be getting when he's eighteen."
Stiles interrupted, "So not only is Jackson rich now, but he's getting even richer at eighteen?"
"Yep."
"There's something so deeply wrong with that," Stiles commented to which you all agreed. "Yeah, try the word morbid, maybe," you added.
"You know what? I could try to find the insurance report in my dad's inbox. He keeps everything."
Scott McCall, please report to the principal's office.
Scott, you and Stiles shared an incredulous look as the boy left for the office, "That cannot be good," you said. Isaac and Erica gave you both odd looks and you raised your hand stopping their questions, "It's a long story."
Erica went back to searching her dad's records, Stiles basically hanging over her shoulder. You turned your attention to the leather jacket wearing boy, who's stare was completely on the table. He directed it to you once you had moved the chair you were using closer to him. At this point you both were inches apart. Isaac leaned his head down slightly so that you were closer to his ear as you talked.
"Why did you follow me," you asked, your finger tracing imaginary circles on the table. His knee nudged yours under the table, clearly trying to get your eyes to look at him, which had worked.
"Because I was worried about you."
You took a sharp breath from shock, your eyes widened slightly. When you gained your composure back you replied, "Isn't that supposed to be my line?"
He breathed of soft chuckle, "I'm serious, sweetheart. You had me worried."
"I told you not to call me that," you said.
"Really, I don't remember that," he had a soft smirk resting on his face.
You scoffed, "Yeah, whatever." His smirk didn't disappear, "You're cute when you're flustered."
You shoved him, "Shut up, you're being dumb. We're in a serious situation, you know?"
"If it's so serious why have you been focusing on me instead of those two over there," he pointed over to the two teenagers who were snooping through emails.
You clasped your fingers together resting your chin on your hands, "Because I'm trying to figure out what your game is."
"My game?"
"Yep, you stopped me in the hallway, you followed me to the locker room which landed you in detention with me, so what's your angle?"
He shrugged leaning back in his chair, arms crossed, "I told you, I was worried. Plus why would I not want to spend time with my favorite girl."
You raised your eyebrows, "Your favorite girl? Didn't realize I meet the qualifications for that title."
"You always did."
Your conversation was cut to a halt when the library door opened with Jackson and Mr. Harris in tow. You looked over to your best friend when you saw an odd look on his face.
"Look at the dates."
You perked up, "Oh, you found it." The responses you got were two nods as Erica began to read the reports, "'Passengers arrived at the hospital DOA. The estimated time of death 9:26 p.m., June 14, 1995.'"
Both yours and Stiles' expressions fell, "Jackson's birthday is June 15th."
A zipping sound was heard as Harris began to close his bag. Everyone around began to follow suit in getting up and grabbing their things when they were interrupted with the man chuckling, "Oh, I'm sorry. Yes, I'm leaving. But none of you are. You may go when you're done with the re-shelving. Enjoy the rest of your evening."
There was a collective groan as the door to the library closed, Mr. Harris on the other side of it. You all sluggishly each grabbed your own stack of books and scattered around. Eventually Scott came back and Stiles, Allison, and you all gathered towards the boy to relay more information to each other.
"It means he was born after his mom died by c-section. They had to pull him out of her dead body," Stiles explained.
"That's gotta take the cake when it comes to childhood trauma," you murmured, sliding a book back onto the shelf.
"So was it an accident or not," asked Allison. Stiles shrugged slightly as he answered, "The word all over the report is 'inconclusive'."
"Then his parents could have been murdered," questioned Scott.
"If they were, then it falls in line with the Kanima myth," Stiles said, "You know? Seeks out of kills murderers."
You had turned back, facing the group as Allison continued to glance at Stiles, "But for Jackson or the person controlling him," she asked softly. Almost out of complete quiet panic Scott said, "We have to talk to him. We have to tell him." Even with the sounds of you three's protests Scott didn't listen as he left the aisle.
Not even a minute later and you could hear crashes, ceiling and electrical falling everywhere. Stiles had grabbed Allison pulling her into him as concrete crashed by. Before you could even register everything, Isaac had come into your aisle wrapping one arm around your waist and the other cradling your head as he did the same thing, pulling you into his chest, away from the falling construction.
Once it was safe to do so Isaac released his grip on you, his hands now cradling your face, "Are you okay," he asked urgently scanning you over to look for any signs of harm. You gave him a shaky nod, your focus and eyesight blurred from the overwhelming situation. Then a crash was heard once more, breaking both of you out of your bubbles.
Scott had been pushed by a half-turned Jackson and back into your aisle. You slowly unraveled yourself from Isaac and crawled over to the trio, in between Stiles and Allison. Now in your line of sight was Jackson at the chalk board. His body was facing away from it, his arm stretched out as he began to scratch at the board. Once his message was complete he jumped out through the window.
STAY OUT OF MY WAY OR I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU
You all slowly walked towards the board in shock. Stiles turned his head and rushed in a different direction. "Hey, hey, hey, hey!" He had Erica in his arms as she grunted and gasped for breath, shaking.
"I think she's having a seizure."
Allison had gone to Matt making sure he was alive, while you three were with Erica. You could see Isaac in the corner of your eye and he was clearly in distress.
"We need to get her to the hospital," you said supporting her body the best you could with Stiles. "Derek," Erica interjected, "Only to Derek."
Scott spoke to Allison and rushed over to the other aisle, "Hey, Scott!" Stiles' attention was back on Erica after his panicked yell. You looked at Scott as he made his way back, picking up Erica.
"I'll stay with her, go." He nodded gratefully before rushing out, Stiles right on his heels.
Isaac made his way towards you and you spoke once more, "You should meet them there, they might need your help." The boy shook his head, "I can't just leave you after everything that just happened."
"I'll be okay, go." He hesitated, before nodding his head and following the same path the boys had just taken.
~
Once you and Allison were sure Matt was gonna be okay, you parted ways. You had once again reached the hide out of the newly formed Hale pack. You could hear voices talking as you reached the bottom of the stairs and walked to the train car.
Inside you saw a exhausted but okay Erica, laying in the arms of Stiles. Isaac and Scott stood to the side while Derek sat nearby the girl as well. "Good, she's alright," you let of a sigh of relief, getting all their attention.
Derek had gotten up leaving the car, Scott following close behind. You couldn't lie, it peaked your interest, so after making one final glance over the blonde girl you left the car as well and reached the duo.
"You know who it is."
"Jackson."
"You just wanted Erica to confirm it, didn't you?"
Derek nodded at the question.
"I'm gonna help you stop him. As part of your pack," Scott stated, giving you a look, you nodded at your best friend in agreement.
"If you want me in, fine. But we'll do it on one condition. We're gonna catch him, not kill him."
"And?"
You made eye contact with the Alpha, "We do it our way."

rambling about kara and leandra under the cut because i'm crazy and need to sort out my thoughts
i think kara's relationship w leandra is one she never gets closure with and neither is carver's death. from her early teen years kara started rebelling because she knew malcolm loved beth more and knew leandra loved the twins more and even tho she'd tried to help them growing up she just got sooo jealous and eventually was like ok fuck this fuck you all. and she was really troublesome and got into a lot of shit and fucked off all the time and tried sleeping around from such an early age to feel SOMETHING and then one day beth got genuinely hurt while kara was around and kara was like oh seeing the kids hurt is terrible actually. and then she became their protector again and more Passionately this time but she still didn't want leandra to think she was doing it bc leandra wanted her to. she sort of felt like she was the thing that had ruined her parents' entire life and she felt like she could Never be good enough so she was like well i'm not even gonna care and i'm not even gonna try fuck you no matter what mom no i'm not gonna make you running away from the circle worth it dad. WHATEVER. <3
that was what made her very anti-authority like....... even if beth wasn't a mage and she didn't have to protect her from templars she'd still say fuck the templars because she believes in freedom above all else. even if mages can turn into abominations she's like well let them make the choices that lead them there, outside pressure is not going to help them, it just makes things worse, etc etc, no i'm not projecting at all what are you talking about. ironically she had a better childhood than most people because the truth is leandra and malcolm were not very strict with her at all, they just wanted her to take care of the twins and whenever she fucked up it just contributed to that belief that she was the biggest fuck up in the world. and then she was like well if i don't care whether other people think i fuck up then i probs won't feel like i fucked up. so her own moral standard adjusted to what SHE thinks is right or wrong and not anyone else.
i think she lashes out at leandra for bringing up carver even without making it sound like hawke's fault bc kara does feel deep down that she DID fail but that realization is so painful that it would cripple her and depress her and make her fall into a hole so deep she wouldn't be able to crawl out of it. but at the same time kara fucking hates gamlen and hates how he treats all of them. so poor leandra gets this whiplash of kara standing up for her and being like idk how he could treat you like that you're his SISTER does that not MATTER and then leandra's like i miss carver </3 and kara's like jesus fucking christ mom shut up about carver. i think with more stability and ironically beth being with the wardens takes a lot of ease off hawke and leandra's relationship and they end up getting a tiny tiny bit closer btwn acts 1 and 2 and kara's like oh yeah i don't actually hate my mom and she's pretty cool when she's not making me feel like shit. and even then leandra doesn't know enough about her life anymore to comment so they actually get in a good place and they're sharing their lives with each other and eating dinner together. and then leandra goes and dies <3 and then Instantly kara's like fuck i was such an idiot i'm her daughter i'm supposed to make her proud and i didn't even try. she still saw leandra as that authority figure even when she was the one who needed the MOST care, more than bethany and carver ever did, and she hates herself for it very deeply and then whenever she talks about it she blames leandra and is like yeah my mom was a bitch lol to cover up her feelings. it's easier to feel guilty about speaking ill of the dead than admitting you're the reason they're dead in the first place

Another Cayde AU I cooked in the Content Box with @luna-light-eclipse
Hive Zombie Cayde AU
Basically Cayde gets hit with a Hive curse that doesn’t seem to do anything. He goes on with his life, flash coward a couple years. Cayde is dead, they’re having the funeral.
And then he gets up. And people start freaking the fuck out for a bit. Cayde himself included.
Physically he looks like a damn mess. While he’s tried to get some repairs in, his face still looks all scuffed to hell, he still has the wound that killed him, his limbs keep falling off on occasions, especially when they’re in disrepair, and sometimes his eyes will go out. The only ‘upside’ is that he effcitevly can’t die, so he can be in pieces and still be put back together.
Mentally, he’s also a damn mess. Thanks to some slight brain damage and deterioration from being dead, he has trouble remembering things or getting his thoughts together-not as bad as what Banshee has to go through (though Cayde definitely appreciates the advice on how to deal with memory issues) it’s likely bad enough that he gets taken off strike duty, at least until he gets better. Not to mention Cayde’s usual self loathing is gonna be worse-feeling like a freak, feeling useless, thinking his friends think of him as an abomination that needs to be put out of its misery. All that fun stuff.
As for Eris. Well she ends up putting some spells on him in case Cayde suddenly goes evil or gets taken over by the Hive. Him and Eris actually get along somewhat better, owing to them both getting screwed by the Hive.
In combat, Cayde is just…absolutely feral. Grows claws and literally tears through enemies like tissue paper. Has chomped down on enough bad guys that he has bits of guts stuck in his mouth. He tends to black out for a lack of a better term, coming to having just wiped out a whole group of enemies. It’s not uncommon for Cayde to return from a mission covered in gore. Eventually the Vanguard bans him combat baring emergencies, since he keeps traumatizing the Guardians he’s sent along with
And finally there’s ‘Osiris’. Hoh boy. His memory tends to blank out more around him, and people keep saying he’s been talking to him when he doesn’t remember. Meanwhile, Savathun is taking great pleasure in extracting every iota of information she can from Cayde-who, by virtue of being Hunter Vanguard, knows a lot.

I have not been able to get your 'would you love me if i was a worm' post out of my head for the past however long its been.
sooo. oops. hopefully this sends, it's. not super long, but long for an ask.
“Hey, Peter?” She allowed an appropriately timed pause. “Would you still love me if I was a worm?” Her husband looked up (down from her perspective) from his laptop, idly spinning pen stilling as he squinted.
“...Yes? Why would you be a worm, though.” Mary Jane rolls her eyes and flips her hair behind her shoulder.
“It’s a thought experiment from the internet. You would know if you ever lifted that rock you live under.” Predictably, Peter splutters in protest. “Anyway,” she continues, pressing a finger to her chin as the thought hits her, “We live in New York, Tiger. For all we know, some mad scientist type is currently making a…Wormification ray as we speak.” Pointedly, Peter makes eye contact as he leans over to rap on the wooden doorframe.
“Great job, MJ. You just spoke it into existence. Thanks for that. Gonna be a great use of my Saturday night.” He replies drily. She scoffs, planting her hands on her hips.
“You’re paranoid.”
“I’m right! It stops being paranoia when the world really is out to get you,” he sing-songs, turning back to his laptop. Mary Jane throws her hands up into the air. Men, honestly.
“Oh of course! How could I have been so thoughtless, to cause such pain to the great and wonderful Spider-Man!” Peter furrows his brow suspiciously.
“You’re making fun of me,” he states, flatly. She gasps, widening her eyes into the picture of innocence.
“Me? I would never!”
“Ha. Ha. Ha.” He grinds out, scrunching down further.
“Besides,” Mary Jane sings, “Back to the point-I don’t think that you, of all people, have any room to talk about turning into bugs,” she adds, only a touch snide, pointedly looking him up and down from his upside-down perch on their wall.
Peter opens his mouth. Closes it. Frowns down at her, and without breaking eye contact, stands and drops to the floor.
“Worms aren’t even arthropods,” is what he finally goes with, once he’s on ground level, that particular tic working in his jaw. He gets so defensive about the insect thing. It’s hilarious.
Mary Jane shrugs carelessly. “I’m just saying. If I was a guy who’s literally turned into a spider before, I wouldn’t talk.” Peter makes a face.
“I haven’t turned into a spider, exactly. Just. Into a mutated spider-monster.” He replies weakly.
“Multiple times,” Mary Jane nods. “Except for the one time you went all the way.” She pauses, leaning into an obvious thinking pose. “Hmm. I loved you through that, so I guess I’d also love you if you were a worm.” Peter wheezes, shaking his head at her.
“That felt uncalled for, but thanks? I guess?” He pauses, and grimaces. “With my luck, I’d be a spider-worm abomination, though. Would you still love that?”
Her mind conjures up something with far too many legs for a worm, and she can’t quite suppress a shudder at the mental image.
“Nobody else has these problems,” she mutters as an aside. “A worm? Easy. A spider? You’re basically halfway there, anyway. Both, though,” she trails off. “I probably would, because it’s you. Even if you do end up more radioactive than normal, or something.”
“Wow,” Peter replies, drawing the word out into a sigh. “I feel so loved, honey. What would I ever do without you.”
Mary Jane smiles, sly and teasing. “Be even more of a disaster than usual, probably. Love you too, dear.” She chirps.
ANON LET ME KISS YOU ON THE MOUTH!! MWAH

Magnus protocol 1&2 thoughts! Here be spoilers and also spoilers for TMA! Also fyi I'm gonna be tagging with "the magnus protocol" for tmagp stuff and continuing to use the fandom name plus "spoilers" for anything spoilery.
Stuff I like:
Diving right in with the majorly fucked up "statements," 100% here for it!!! I liked the second one better than the first because I felt like I actually understood what was going on in it better, and it was sufficiently fucked and creepy.
I like the idea that this is basically like the archive, but it's in a different form where they have to read/listen to/watch the statements and then categorize and file them
I ♥️ Sam, he's wonderful so far 😍
Gwen is fascinating and I appreciate a girl who's a stickler for filing things properly (I'm an Amy Santiago type of person myself). I'm interested to see how things go with her and definitely interested to see what goes on with her and Lena
Lena 👀👀 who is she? how did she get here? how much is she in the know? Presumably she's aware that she's running basically a Beholding archive but also presumably this universe does not have a living Jonah Magnus so her backstory is probably very different.
Jon and Martin zapped into the computer like Freakazoid is a great callback to the computer ep from tma and that they're not really alive in the same way they were before (assuming ofc it's them). I'm definitely interested to see who else is in there with them 👀
I like the way the statements start off in computerized voices and then gradually fade to normal voice and then back again 👍
Stuff I don't like:
Probably unpopular opinion: I absolutely cannot stand Alice. I want to like her and I'm hoping that the storyline will change my mind, but she's just kind of a jerk? Like the whole "go ask Colin about the app" thing was just a dick move, and the aggressive irreverence comes off as rude and irritating to me. Presumably she has a tragic backstory and this is some kind of put-on act to cover up her emotional turmoil but would it hurt to be a little nicer to people? Gwen is rude too but she's owning it, not pretending that she's nice. As a listener I feel like I'm expected to find Gwen disagreeable but I'm expected to find Alice charming, and I really, really don't.
The audio in the break room is terrible. I assume part of this is that we're supposed to be listening from the perspective of an electronic device, maybe a copy machine that's around the corner or something, and I get that, but I cannot fucking hear what they're saying. I'm usually either listening in the car or in an environment with lots of other sounds and it's just inaudible for me.
This is true for some other sections as well, though the break room is the worst. I have enough trouble just understanding accents sometimes since I'm not British (I watch all BBC tv shows with the captions turned on 😅) so when audibility is low this becomes even harder.
Some of the transitions were unclear. I loved the artist statement, but it was not clear to me who was listening to it, how it was getting played, or what was going on. I'm not familiar enough with the voices yet to identify people and for a minute I thought Lena was taking a statement in person.
I assume I'll figure this out in time, but I can't tell Lena and Gwen apart.
MY SOFTWARE PROFESSIONAL NITPICKS oh my god I know this is an eldritch abomination of a computer system but some of the technobabble is just conflicting! If it's ancient, then it can't be breaking when it auto updates, because 1) your OS and SW did not auto update back then, and 2) if it's been around and auto updating for years it would be newer and not ancient anymore! There was some other technobabble I can't recall at the moment that bothered me too, which I'll probably remember five minutes after making this post. These are all nitpicks that are only annoying to me because software is my day job though so I will accept them.

what’s an unexplained event/conspiracy theory/urban legend you can’t shake the feeling that there might be something to it? one you can’t believe anyone gives any time to at all? a notorious “haunted” location you’d like to check out? any you’d be willing to spend the night in? what’s the first famous murder or disappearance you remember hearing about and how old were you? what’s the creepiest/most malevolent instrumentals-only piece of music you can think of? what’s a horror movie from the last decade you think is overrated? what’s a trope or concept in horror you think is really effective and is underutilized (books movies tv, any or all)?
SOPHIE I COULD KISS YOU ON THE FACE OKAY SO
i'm replying to each question like i'm greentexting because idk it's funnier
>Most hauntings i can't believe anyone gives any time to at all, i'm naturally a Scully so it takes a lot to convince me and it's usually so obviously fraud. Anything investigated by Ed and Lorraine Warren i especially hate >It depends what you mean by "something to it" like the death of Cecil Lam, suaimhneas siorai di, i fully believe she was fucking murdered and the cops fucked the investigation and i'm still angry about it, but i don't believe anything supernatural was involved. The Valentich Disappearance had me going for a while, but i guess it turns out he probably faked it and was an avid UFO enthusiast soooo shrug emoji >I would love to go on a ghost tour of New Orleans. There's no one specific location that i'm like YES GIVE IT TO ME but i'd love to go to New Orleans for haunting type shit >I will spend the night in any haunted location i'm allowed to that wouldn't be insanely disrespectful i'd love that honestly >First disappearance i ever remember hearing about i was 7 and it was The Blair Witch Project so like lmaaoooo but noI think the first real urban legend/murder/anything i remember hearing about was The Bunnyman Bridge, since i actually live right nearby it so that shit was SCAAARYYY. Basically some guy who may or may not have been in a bunny mask or costume and may or may not have been a crackhead ran up on a couple random people and screamed at them for trespassing and menaced them with a hatchet. And of course that turned into a story about an escaped mental patient who killed people with an axe and hung up mutilated rabbit corpses in the woods and shit. I must have been...what, 7 or 8? Maybe younger? I can't remember. The first real crime i REALLY remember was the D.C. Sniper when i was 9 cause again, right near me. That shit TERRIFIED me as a kid i didn't wanna walk home from the bus stop cause i thought i was gonna get shot lmao >Most malevolent instrumental i can think of jeez that's a hard one i know the Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs soundtrack there are a lot of songs on that that are....there are some songs that are kind of beautiful, some that are tragic, but there's a lot in that game's soundtrack that's creepy as fuck >Horror movie i think is overrated...A Quiet Place. I mean don't get me wrong, i liked it, but it wasn't...y'know AMAZING. Left a lot to be desired. Also Bone Tomahawk which is more of a cult thing but like everyone who's heard of it loooooves it and i'm like okay it's really just that one scene though. One-scene wonder of a movie. Also racist. >PEOPLE DON'T USE ELDRITCH ABOMINATIONS ENOUGH or they don't use them right. Also i love the concept of never showing exactly what the monster is. It's often done poorly, which i think is what turns people off, but like At the Mountains of Madness, when the whole story just in the background there are these carvings of SOMETHING bad behind the mountains but the ancient aliens refuse to talk about it yeah it's a weird story and not much attention is drawn to it, and then at the very end the guy is in the plane and looks back and sees....................something and immediately goes stark raving screaming mad like that shit is haunting. Oh, there aren't enough movies like Underwater. I want sea monsters god fucking damn it.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

((Okay fuck it BG3!Nemesis and BG3!Dae posting time
just various background bits for now because I'm rather sure I'm probably gonna wind up writing fics for this l o l))
===
NEMESIS:
Tumblr media
—Black Dragonborn Druid (that also has a startling amount of red on them), with an alligator-esque tail like most of their ex-clan has
—Goes by she/they, and yes Nemesis is a name she chose for herself, no she will not tell you what her ~*actual*~ name was, that name's dead as far as she's concerned
—7 feet ish tall and built like a fuckin truck
—Has a fairly deep voice and is also capable of making a noise somewhere between an alligator bellow and a roar that she will happily use for intimidation purposes a la a Barbarian
—Adopted siblings with Daeyona the Dark Urge but isn’t aware of the DUrge thing, only that Dae “seems to have anger issues” much like their own just cranked up to 11
—When Dae was suspected of a murder they were stubbornly insistent that she didn’t do it but no one believed them and so when Dae got booted out of that Dragonborn clan, they went with her
—Only for her to just disappear shortly after and leaving them alone, and they’re not as bitter about that as one might think; they know that Dae just thought she was protecting them by taking herself off elsewhere
—Still hurt though
—That’s when they got picked up by a local circle and asked if they wanted to Druid and they went SURE SOUNDS GOOD
—Specifically is a Circle of the Moon Druid; she just likes turning herself into critters and has a serious knack for it
—Their grove is the Grove of Dead Gods, which is precisely what it says on the tin: it’s where a number of gods and a whole bunch of other spirits have gone to die over the years
—It’s a big fuckoff swamp wood because of that and she’s the only Druid in the grove actually because she’s the only local one that actually likes it
—They have a teacher who’s the leader of the local Circle, a male Drow Druid (an ex-Lolth worshipper) who only calls himself “Lahyra”, but he’s fairly hands-off at this point and generally trusts that they’ll do the right thing
—Whether or not he’s right about that is semi-debatable
—They’re very pragmatic to a fault and instead of getting unnerved or spooked by the sheer amount of creepy spiritual shit going on around them at all times, they’re mostly just exasperated about it, let them do their job of keeping the balance of nature please or they WILL bop Los Espookies over the head with a fencepost until they all knock it off
—Absolutely the type to unironically say DECAY IS AN EXTANT PART OF LIFE
—In fact she’ll outright start a screed about that exact thing because she gets annoyed that non-Druids forget that life is a fucking messy-ass circle not a straight uncomplicated line whose end is always a terrible thing period
—That said it’s not like she’s gonna demand people just submit to suffering/dying or suffering and death being “always good” or weird cult-y shit like that, she’s not a monster she’s just trying to keep the overall circle of life going, and also a lot of people take being freaked out over even possibly suffering/dying way too far and start making abominations about it and it’s a pain in her ass
—There are LAYERS to this mindset and they’ll freely acknowledge that it’s complicated and that they’re no less prone to being a hypocrite than anyone else
—They’re just at least aware of that so they can think about it and refine their philosophy more
—And they have a lot of time to do so since they’re basically living alone in a huge hollow tree with only the occasional bird for company
—And a wood dryad who is technically from a tree in a different Grove but who finds them fascinating to talk to/be around
—There’s also Grand Nona Sycamore who used to be a hag and then got turned into a dryad of the biggest oldest tree in the Grove of Dead Gods, after the prior dryad died, but even if she’s much less people-eater than most hags after that, she’s still very powerful and ancient and tricky like the Fae and while Nemesis is happy to occasionally do her little innocuous favors (namely giving her the bones of their kills and helping her with her hair) and show her a good deal of freely-given respect, they’re honestly a bit unnerved by her and Nemesis has better sense than to make deals with her
—Usually
—There was a Shadow Druid infiltration once when they were younger and Nemesis had to make a deal to get rid of ‘em since they were grossly over her general skill level at the time and they wanted to try and be clever about it and do it on her own
—They still consider it lucky that they only lost all their teeth for a while for it; Dragonborn teeth grow back, a lot of other shit that the Sycamore could’ve demanded does not
—In fact Grand Nona was so damn happy with that many widely-varied new skulls for her collection and all the teeth that she gave Nemesis a talisman to help them get even more creative with their shapeshifting
—It’s in the shape of a red dragon skull, albeit at a very shrunken scale, hanging on a leather necklace strap, and Nemesis very literally can’t lose it
—It’ll just. Reappear on their person after a couple hours of delay
—Nemesis’ fave form is actually one she temporarily loses post-tadpole-ing and only picks up again while facing Nere in Grymforge: a dragonish and very spiky thing with greyhound proportions, and a pair of large finned “sails” on its back
—If you’re imagining a Flight Rising Sandsurge dragon: yeah basically that just with horns more like Nemesis’ own
(—Basically is a reskin of the Owlbear mechanics-wise, may not look like a tank but acts like it)
—Got picked up and tadpole’d out of fucking nowhere one day, which reset a lot of her spell-learning and transformations unfortunately
—But it didn’t reset her memory for plants and shit and so she’s definitely the designated I HAVE A TEA/POTION FOR THAT guy out of the lot of them
—Definitely SOMEHOW the most well-adjusted out of anyone in this fucking game and she both leans into that fact and also is immensely wigged out by it
—The incarnation of Eldest Sibling Behavior (TM) to everyone but especially towards Astarion lmao
—Would 100% bite someone and has the jaw strength to back it up
—In fact one of their fave games they used to play with Dae as kids was "jaw sparring" which is exactly what it sounds like
==
DAEYONA (AKA "KHANNJAEGA"):
Tumblr media
—Red Dragonborn Warlock, with an alligator-esque tail like most of her ex-clan has (her form took a lot of developmental cues from those around her you see)
—6 and a half feet tall, built more lithe than bulky like her (adoptive) sibling
—Has a rather low but more distinctly feminine voice than her sibling does; Daeyona was the name given to her by her clan (and is what she uses after her memory loss), but she started going by "Khannjaega" or "the Laughing Hunter" as the Dark Urge
—Dark Urge, so therefore made by Bhaal and chucked out into the world to go Murderbhaalin' Murderballin’
—Her egg just happened to land in Nemesis’ clan’s territory and she and Nemesis were incubated and hatched together and put in the care of the same lady
—Said lady was unfortunately an ass who had little patience for either of their “temper tantrums”, and while Nemesis managed to learn to keep hers under control, Dae uh
—Much less so because Lol Bhaalspawn
—In fact she did wind up offing another Dragonborn as a teenager for picking on her too hard and then got kicked out for it, even though the lot of them never were able to prove that she did it
—That Nemesis actually so stubbornly stuck up for her and believed her better than to do that, even when she wasn’t, haunted her so fiercely that she ran away instead of staying
—Like yes she WAS bitter at her clan’s indolence in stopping their “mother” from being awful while being so quick to ban people for technically unprovable murder, but Nemesis’ unrelenting belief in her is what drove her to running
—Then Bhaal-Sceleritas showed up all HEY BHAALKIDDO <3 and convinced her that it’s alright, she was destined for something greater than that anyway, would she like to see it
—And given she had little else in her life now other than him and her own violence she just went I Would Like To See It
—And that’s how she wound up in Baldur’s Gate in the Bhaal temple where she was hailed as the second coming of Evil Jesus and that went RIGHT to her head
—Here was a “family” that actually cared about her! That honored her talents, nasty as they were, and encouraged them! Whose authorities actually wanted her when she had never been wanted before!
—Never mind that it was basically for their own selfish ends, she had just gotten so used to that that it flew right over her head
—So ofc she goes right for being Bhaal’s Chosen and he’s perfectly happy to give it to her and turn her loose on everyone
—Which she does! With aplomb! Very murdery aplomb
—It’s basically a case of boiling the frog where it just steadily devolves from “simple” murder to nasty murders to torturing people
—That said she never hits the depths that Orin did on that last one—that level of torture was mostly reserved for people who had very pissed her off and/or tried to harm her, otherwise you’d “just” lose a couple fingers or something reasonably quick for displeasing her
—Not that she ever stopped other Bhaal cultists and Orin from doing crazy extended torture shit for giggles though. She just called it gauche and refused to participate
—Look she’s the avatar of murder not the avatar of torture that’s more Loviataar’s or Bane’s shtick than hers
—SPEAKING OF, Gortash is actually rather fascinated by her (as in typical DUrge canon fashion lmao) and keeps trying to figure out what makes his murderbuddy tick, but while she can appreciate his dedication to his god’s art and his subtlety in getting what he wants (in fact she learns quite a bit of underhanded slyness from him), she stays fairly withdrawn and keeps to herself
—She’s increasingly coming to realize that it all feels kinda. Empty. Yes she has what she thought she wanted but it feels like she has to constantly constantly perform “correctly” Or Else (Orin was very very keen on demonstrating that out of sheer jealousy that Dae got what Orin thought she deserved instead, and Orin had a growing number of supporters)
—She still has everyone else’s expectations weighing her down they’re just. Same shit different bowl, everyone just wants something from her and never just…her
—And yeah she is still thinking about Nemesis’ stubborn fucking trust in her and knowing that Nemesis wouldn’t like any of this and is very torn by it
—She doesn’t like feeling this! She even agrees to the crazy-ass Netherbrain plan of Bhaal’s with the thought that it might make her not just want to die because if constant exhausting levels of performance and never being allowed her own identity is all that’s expected of her from everyone else (except Nemesis who would definitely hate her for what she’s done) then what’s the point of it all
—And it uh. Doesn’t work.
—Yes she’d love to have the rest of the world burn but she knows on some level that it wouldn’t satisfy her and would just be letting herself be puppeted around yet again and her inherent pride was starting to resent that a fair bit
—Cue a Mephistopheles devil named Runya stealing an opportunity from under Raphael’s nose and showing up to her (in full winged rothe-headed form and everything) and messing with her head
—Doesn’t she want something different, doesn’t she want to be free of everyone else imposing their idea of what she should be on her
—Doesn’t she want to not feel like death is the only answer anymore for what’s left for her
—Doesn’t she deserve a future that's hers, not something dictated to her by someone else
—And eventually she actually agrees to make a deal, and when Runya goes to seal it, it literally etched itself into her bones in ittybitty print
—It was Painful and Runya only made it worse when he whacked her in the skull with the business end of an ice pick and knocked her out
—And knocked enough of a chunk of skull out for Orin to stuff a tadpole in and scramble her brains and etc etc to get her on the Nautiloid
—Far as he’s concerned he only promised to give her an opportunity to be free and the exact manner of it wasn’t specified; he has just barely enough foresight (like, the literal seeing-the-future kind) to know that this is the closest way to wrecking the Dead Three’s plans somehow and he wants to wreck those plans
—If the Dead Three had their way there’d be no more new souls to bargain with! Which would be bad! And Runya wanted to impress his own boss too with his cleverness, soooooo
—And he got great headway on it already by taking an annoying escapee of a Great Old One spirit off of said boss’ hands
—And stuffing it into her eyeball as part of the deal, which turned it that bright orange color and also turned her into a Warlock
—It’s a weird interdimensional eel spirit that feeds off of feelings and also made a deal with Runya that it would get to escape Hell’s back shelf (where it was otherwise just collecting dust), but that any souls that Dae killed would pass by her and instead get funneled back to him and into soul coins
—Not that Dae’s entirely aware of it or the deal itself, fucking Orin man
—In fact her memories extend up to the point of running away from Nemesis before they turn into a total blank (IE: she lost knowledge of the entire Ur A Bhaalspawn Lol thing)
—Not that it made the murder-urges any less but she at least tries to keep a lid on them
—Desperately trying to be hinged. Clinging to those hinges by her fingernails. DESPITE EVERYTHING.
—Falling for Astarion of all people didn't help that but she tries
—Now is very fond of shotgunning Eldritch Blast and likes her Warlock spellcasting but is incredibly fast with knives and maces and sufficiently short swords courtesy of the part of her life she doesn’t remember
—…Yet

Frisk
Tumblr media
Frisk's personality drastically changes on each route, which I guess would be kinda expected, how can the same person be an absolute angel and do an entire genocide of the people they saved on another timeline? On a pacifist timeline their actions would be guided by kindness, a belief that monsters are like humans and should be treated with love (not LOVE). On a neutral route, their actions are made out of fear. The Underground is a scary place full of creatures they've never seen before, escape and defend is the top priority on their mind. On a genocide run, however, things go the way they do based on the thought that these creatures don't matter. Their lives are so meaningless in the first place to be put underground for a century in the first place, who would miss such abominable creatures? Soon, the lack of care for their lives would turn into an addiction to the power and adrenaline. To their core, Frisk is kind of a sarcastic person, and is one that first acts and then thinks. They are not the most empathetic person, not to say they are heartless of course, just saying that they might have trouble relating to others. They have a great curiosity that constantly seeks to be satisfied. They are young, 15 years old to be more precise, which means they are still learning and developing their personality. Each decision they take can have a great impact on them, if they let themselves learn from them. Their past is not clear, and the reason they fell into to the Underground is doubtable. They tripped on the root of a tree which made them fall, yet never elaborated on why they were on Mt. Ebott in the first place. When talking about how life was before falling, they only mention how his household wasn't the best and ran away for a couple days, always thinking to coming back eventually, but never explains further about why it wasn't good, nor anything nor anyone else on their life. Friends, family, hobbies, anything, they just don't talk about it.
Chara
Tumblr media
When Chara was born it had been only 30-40 years since the monsters' imprisonment, so there was still a running hate on their village to them. This played out terribly for the kid. They were born with albinism and some features and slight deformities that made them look like a monster, more specifically a goat monster. This lead to the people of the village constantly mistreating Chara and calling them a monster, and ended up with them trying to off themselves on Mt. Ebott (wow, you guys really made a ten year old try to off themselves). Luckily they survived, were found by Asriel and lives a very happy life in the Underground, the rest is spoilers I'm not gonna say yet. Chara is someone who seeks for justice, though their judgment may be clouded when it comes to humans due to their view of them because of their past experiences. They have a difficult time trusting people, but once they've established a relationship with someone, they'll never let them go. They are very loving and protective towards their friends and family. They have sworn to themselves that they would protect monster kind no matter what as a thanks and repayment for all the kindness they have shown them since they arrived.
Sabria
Tumblr media
Sabrina is the soul of patience There's not much to say about her for how young she was when she died (12 years old) Her parents died when she was just a baby in an accident, so she was adopted by her neighbours. She was a very shy and quite girl, but would never stop talking with her older sister. People often described her as a sweet little girl that never had much to say.
Mettaton
Tumblr media
Mettaton was created by Alphys and Sans as the ultimate defense system, but he ended up developing a personality of his own and becoming a tv star. Though he is basically his own person by this point, he still responds so Alphys' and Sans' every command since he was programmed to do so, he would never do something that goes against something they said. "But what if Alphys and Sans give him contradicting orders?" He would respond to Alphys, since she had more participation on his creation, meaning that she has more power over him. Mettaton isn't actually interested to get Frisk's soul to cross the barrier and become an idol for the humans, but instead fights Frisk because Alphys tells him to do so. Personality doesn't change much from OG Mettaton other than he sounds and acts a bit fruttier.
Asriel
Tumblr media
SWEET LITTLE GUYYYY, MY LITTLE BABY, CAN DO NO HARM Ujump, I mean He is the same as OG Asriel, but doesn't let himself be pushed around as much. He is usually the one taking the lead when doing stuff with Chara instead of the other way around
Toriel
Tumblr media
Probably the only remaining member of the Dreemurr family with emotional stability. she is what you would expect of her, a mother who lost everything, yet still finds it in her to keep going. She has a lot of love inside her, but since he lost those who she sought of giving it to, she instead gives a piece of her love to everyone around. She's been around for longer than what people can imagine, making her someone very wise. But don't take everything she says as facts, because though she has a lot of knowledge in her, her feelings sometimes may get in the way of her acting. She lives by the thought that everyone deserves a chance to show who they are, and a second chance to amend their mistakes. Never will she treat someone badly without them being mean first. But, of course, just because she is a radiator of love and kindness, that doesn't mean she's stupid. There is a line, maybe invisible to some, but very much there, that once you cross it, you'll be in her bad side, and you don't want to be in her bad side. "The only thing that works in this world, is that you treat others as they treat you. Those who have treated me with kindness, I will repay that kindness tenfold. And those that treat me with injustice, that use me, that hunt me down, that hurt my friends, I will repay that injustice a thousand times over." (if you know where that quote is from you are so cool)

hello welcome to “i took way too long of a nap and now cannot sleep” warden thoughts
i never want kids so its often. really hard for me to think about my characters having children
literally with my Original original characters no one has like. birth children. min-kyung and cali look after tabby but shes like, 12 already, just a ratbag who liked following them (most of them are like in their 20s and young too but ignore that, bonni and pedro dont want kids i think theyre like my oldest characters together) (people have parents but i have not established parents that well)
but for my wardens like. mifen and morrigan Obviously have kieran.
going down the list (these all count for all-wardens-live au as well lol)
sataren - nah man. she and zev out enjoying life and i think she would have issues with the idea of raising a child anyway (ignoring the warden life limit freaking her out when she thinks about it too much) i put too much of myself into her lol
vikaya - i think leli and her wouldve talked about it, but it goes back to Theyre So Fucking Busy Oh My God warden commander and divine left hand man?? they got too much going on (i need to look at dwarf kid/caste stuff again but vikayas whole thing is like. subverting family expections but still leading in the same way bc you cant run from ur past type shit. i get nervous trying to put too much serious meaning into things bc it feels like i cant write about things well)
mifen - kieran ofc. mifen is such a family gal too she adores children
devlyon - my sad lil boy, but uh yeah nah his mabari is his kid. put up with it alistair
cheron - ok listen. i still need to actually do his run, but tldr he becomes king with anora, they. honestly. probably would have kids? just bc theyre royalty and having heirs is a good thing? no idea what their relationship would be like in any way, expecially with an alive loghain, so
julian - holy fuck could you IMAGINE? lol
corrick - corricks whole thing is “fuck all of this, im just gonna live how i want” and he accidentally becomes a historian lol. i think he accidentally picks up a ratbag from the street bc the kid kept following him and oh no guess im ur dad now? fuck? what is being a good parent in any way? (similar to tabby but more sad lol, everything is just the same 7 ideas remade over and over again)
my hawkes def aint having kids, kataban isnt, my other inquisitors i havent thought enough on so who the fuck knows. probably not. oscar def isnt, hes too busy digging up baby graves to make a baby abomination.

You’ll Be Okay
AO3
fourth owl fight attack! This one’s prompt was “Hunter and Luz being siblings” and I went a whole Direction with it
Summary: The Emperor was defeated. Amongst the ruins of a half-destroyed castle, Luz finds Hunter. While waiting for the others to find them, Hunter's shields finally fall apart. After all, at the end of the day, he was just a kid.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Luz found Hunter in the wreckage of the Emperor’s Castle, using his staff (the one that had Rascal perched atop, not the other, artificial staff. That one had been snapped in two) to support himself, his other hand clutching his side.
“There you are!” She breathed, rushing forward.
Hunter flinched at the noise and whirled around, lifting his staff to aim it before falling over at the lack of support. He hissed and curled up on the ground, eyes squeezed shut.
Luz faltered for a moment before continuing towards him, albeit much slower and cautiously now.
“Hunter?” She called, crouched down low.
He cracked open a wild, unfocused eye. It took a moment till it landed on her, and a few more until she could start to see him process who she was.
“Hey,” He croaked, slowly raising his head. “I was beginning to think I’d gotten rid of you for good.” He chuckled, before he was wracked with coughs and curled back in on himself.
“Oh please, you’ll have to try way harder than that.” Luz huffed, though the forced teasing in her tone didn’t work much. “Are you…okay?”
“Take a wild guess,” Hunter muttered, bracing one hand on the ground as the other stayed wrapped around his side.
And yeah, in hindsight, he really wasn’t. His white cloak was ratty and torn all over, the piece of under armor he often used barely hanging on by one strap. He was covered in gashes, bruises, grime, and who-knows-what. His breathing was ragged and raspy, and she figured that, yeah, when one is used as a living portal-booster they aren’t going to come out of it okay.
“Alright, fair, bad question.” Luz admitted, inching closer and placing a hand on his leg. “You need any help?”
“If I say no,” Hunter wheezed, eyeing her hand for a moment. “You’ll help me anyway.”
“Yeah,” Luz shrugged. “But it’s polite to ask.”
“Never stopped you before,” He rasped with the faintest of smiles, slowly leaning back until he was flat on the ground, staring up at the sky.
“Need a minute?” Luz asked, scooting until she was sitting right beside him.
“Or three,” Hunter agreed, shutting his eyes. “Everything kinda hurts.”
“Then rest, someone will find us eventually.” Luz assured. “I…may have run off to find you when I realized you weren’t with the others.” She admitted sheepishly, rubbing her neck.
“If they accuse me of kidnapping, I’ll break your shins.” Hunter threatened, though his tone never changed, and his eyes stayed shut.
“Understood,” Luz smiled, watching as Rascal transformed back into his usual self, chirping as he settled himself on Hunter’s stomach.
And the two remained silent for what felt like hours, though Luz was willing to bet it had been no more than ten minutes. She just looked out at the rubble around them, aching all over as a light wind breezed by. Had she not seen Hunter’s ear flicking periodically with the wind tickling it, she probably would’ve thought he’d died then. His breathing barely even disturbed Rascal, which she had to wonder if he was doing on purpose or not.
“When are you leaving?”
Luz blinked, turning her head down, finding Hunter had cracked open a single eye and was peering up at her.
“Huh?”
“The portal, you went through all this trouble to go back to the human realm, right?” He said. “So, when are you leaving?”
“Oh, uh,” Luz swallowed, shoving down the memory of standing before blinding car lights, reaching for a hand she phased right through. “I...I don’t know.”
“You don’t know?” Hunter repeated, giving her an incredulous look. “You went through all this trouble--”
“Okay, in my defense, this goes a little beyond getting the portal back, there were other reasons.” Luz said, waving her arms to the ruins around them.
“Still,” Hunter braced his arms under him, grunting with the effort as he pushed himself upright, disturbing Rascal. “Last I checked, the portal’s fine. How come you’re not making a beeline for it?”
“Uh, because I need to make sure my friends are okay?” Luz said, like this was the most obvious thing in the world, which, really, it should’ve been. “I’m not gonna leave right away. I need a day or two to make sure everyone's alright and figure out what they’re gonna do now.”
“Go back to normal?” Hunter raised a brow.
“An entire government was just dismantled, Hunter.” Luz deadpanned. “My fantasy books never really got to the part of explaining how they fixed a toppled tyrannical way of ruling, but knowing the Boiling Isles, I doubt this is gonna be easy.”
“Let the people good with politics handle that,” Hunter said casually, slumping back down on the ground and throwing an arm over his face. “They’re not gonna listen to a teenage human and her band of misfits for a new government, anyway.”
“Lilith might be good at figuring that out,” Luz hummed, ignoring him. “She has experience. Raine, too, technically.”
“If you put Lilith in charge, every witch and demon in the Isles will riot in the street.”
“We’re not putting her in charge,” Luz stressed, appalled at the thought. “Just guiding people. See? This is why I need to stay for a little bit, I gotta know what's gonna happen!”
“Do you actually want to go back, or was this all a game of keepsies?” Hunter muttered.
“Of course I--I’m not arguing with you, you’re wounded.” Luz said stubbornly, crossing her arms.
“I'm not in that bad of shape."
“Really now,” Luz said drawled, reaching out a hand towards his chest before Hunter batted it away.
"You trying to hurt me more?" Hunter grumbled, rolling onto his side and wincing with the movement.
"I don't think you could get any more hurt if you tried." Luz deadpanned.
“I’ve had worse than this.” Hunter wheezed out, Rascal fluttering around him anxiously.
“Worse than a living portal puppet...thing?” Luz lifted a brow disbelievingly.
“...alright, fair,” Hunter sighed, a wheezing, noisy one as he shook his head. “This is probably the worst. New record.”
“I don’t want to know what the old record was.” Luz cringed as Hunter rolled onto his back once more, wincing with the movement. “You think the worst of it came from the portal, or being thrown around like a ragdoll by an eldritch abomination?”
“Portal thing,” Hunter said, eyes shut. “I’m used to…” He trailed off, mouth clicking shut as he refused to finish the sentence.
Used to Belos, Luz reasoned, was likely where he was going with that. She gazed at him sadly, his hands clenched into fists over his stomach now, Rascal nudging at his shoulder.
“He didn’t make it, right?” Hunter asked softly, and she didn’t ask him to clarify who.
“I don’t think so, we didn’t find anything.” Luz answered. “We could go check where we last saw him...if you’d like.”
“...later,” Hunter sighed, raising his hands to press the heels of them up against his eyes, fingers gripping his hair. “I don’t wanna think about it much right now.”
“I’m,” Luz started, fiddling with her sleeve. “I’m sorry, about all this.” She said, because she didn’t know what else she could say.
“No, you’re not.” Hunter scoffed bitterly. “You’re glad it’s over.”
“I am,” Luz agreed. “That doesn’t mean I’m still not sorry.”
“I’m not mad at you, I get it.” Hunter said, agonizingly gently. “I don’t need your pity.”
“I’m not--Dios,” Luz muttered as she ran a hand over her face. “Me olvidé de lo reprimido que estabas. You are my friend,” Luz shoved lightly at his shoulder, and he jerked and raised one hand away to give her an offended look. “And as your friend, should the stars align, I am sorry that this terrible situation happened to you, because I care about your well being.” She said, perhaps a few notches more aggressively than intended.
“...I’m your friend?” Hunter blinked, removing his other hand.
“Yes! Yes, you’re my friend! Are we seriously still on that page?” Luz demanded, almost yanking at her hair. She raised a hand when he opened his mouth to speak. “If you start protesting about all the times you were a jerk to me before you switched sides, I’m going to hit you.”
“...you have a very mean way of expressing concern.” Hunter settled on, voice small.
“Because you,” Luz poked at his forehead and got a growl in return. “Can’t get it through your thick head that other people can care about you. Newsflash, buddy. Eda’s already talking to Hooty about making another room for you.”
“She what--”
“So I’m sorry that the castle is destroyed, and I’m sorry that your uncle is gone, because you cared about him.” Luz continued before he could butt-in. “And about that whole...Grimwalker thing, which is a whole other pile of messed up things, but you get the point.” She waved her hands around. “You...you deserved better.” She finally finished, realizing she’d sat up at one point to face him, and now leaned back on her knees.
Hunter stared at her for a moment, opening and closing his mouth repeatedly. Rascal had crawled his way up and onto his shoulder now, looking between the two of them.
Eventually, the tension left his body, and he lay on his side, cheek pressed into the dirty, rocky ground. Rascal jolted, fluttering up onto his head.
“He was awful,” Hunter mumbled, like he was trying to convince someone.
“I know,” Luz sighed, looking down at him. “But you loved him.” She said, and Hunter didn’t dispute it.
“...m’sorry,” Hunter got out, which sounded like a shuttering gasp, as though his throat was closing up.
“What for?” Luz tilted her head.
“You want the list?” Hunter managed, his snark falling short as he rapidly blinked his eyes. “I’d ask why you care at all, but you’re Luz.” He said, shaking his head slightly. “You’re too nice for your own good.”
“It worked out this time, didn’t it?” Luz said, offering a tiny smile as she held out a hand, just short of touching him.
He eyed her hand for a moment, then his gaze flicked across her face, searching. He must’ve seen something, because the little resolve he had left broke, and he reached for Luz’s hand and gripped onto it far more forcefully than needed.
She hoisted him upright, and barely had a moment to spare until he was grabbing onto her, hands fisted in the back of her shirt as he pressed his face into her shoulder. She froze for just a moment before she returned the hug, forcing herself not to protest against the tight grip along her back, definitely going to form nasty bruises later.
She saw that the white of his cloak was covered in dirt and blood all across his back, from injuries he must’ve sustained, though most of it looked dried now. She wondered if it hurt for him to lay on his back like that, and avoided disturbing those wounds as he trembled in her arms.
He shook with cries that were barely choked back, and she pressed the side of her face against his head. Rascal warbled sadly and nuzzled into his head from where he was perched in his hair.
Luz murmured words she couldn’t remember for the life of her, rubbing small circles across the uninjured parts of his back. He only pressed closer, clinging desperately like she’d vanish if he didn’t, and Luz had to put in effort to not fall back.
It might’ve been a few minutes, it might’ve been longer, but gradually, Hunter ran out of steam. His strained cries became muffled sniffles, slumping against Luz like dead weight.
“Sorry,” Hunter hiccupped again, voice muffled against her shoulder. “I think I got your cloak dirty.”
“It was already pretty messy.” Luz assured. “You wanna talk about it?”
“No,” Hunter muffled, hunching his shoulders.
“Okay,” Luz said simply. “We’ve got time.”
“And ain’t that a new concept,” Hunter mumbled, raising his head slightly to instead rest his chin on top of Luz’s shoulder, and she could already feel him wiping at his face. “Having time. I didn’t think I’d make it past nineteen, if I was lucky.” He sniffled, voice hoarse and raspy.
“That…” Luz frowned. “Yeah, we’re gonna make you see someone for all of that.”
“Make me?” Hunter repeated, a faint, fading amusement to his tone.
“We have our ways.” Luz said with a hint of pride. “You’d be surprised.”
Hunter remained quiet for a moment, and Luz watched the old, ripped tapestries in the rubble wave when the wind went by them. She wondered if Eda would be stealing any of those as a trophy, and how long it’d take before Lilith took it away from her.
“Are you going to come back?” Hunter asked, quietly, curiously, without any hint of pleading in his tone, which she was quite impressed by. The subtle grip around her sides tightening just an inch gave him away, though.
“Of course,” Luz said, not needing clarification on what he had meant. “I couldn’t leave this place forever, not even if I wanted to.” She said, and prayed she wasn't lying.
“Yeah, you couldn’t.” Hunter snorted, slowly pulling back as he wiped up the last of his face, though it was still pretty damp as he faced Luz. “They’d be insufferable trying to get you back.” He said, frazzled hair hanging into his eyes.
“Oh, so you wouldn’t put in an effort, then?” Luz scoffed good-naturedly. “Can’t wait to get rid of me, huh?”
“Well now how am I supposed to respond to that?” Hunter demanded in a whine. “I say yes, and you start getting melodramatic and bringing up pointless random acts of kindness like I’m a liar. I say no, and you get all starry-eyed and unbearable.” He complained.
Luz laughed, despite it all. Hunter rolled his eyes and sat back, looking up at Rascal on his head like they were in on some joke she was missing. He chuckled along with her and shook his head, ears twitching down.
“You’re impossible,” He huffed, though he bore a smile.
“I know,” Luz grinned. “And what’s it say about you, still caring anyway?”
“Don’t push it.” Hunter warned, shoving her shoulder as he leaned further back, her only giggling in response.
A call sounded off in the distance, and they both snapped their heads in the direction of the sound. Hunter’s ears pricked high, the sudden shift in personality from relaxed to alert being another slightly alarming thing to put on Luz’s list of traits Hunter had.
The call sounded again, and Luz could recognize the sound of Eda’s voice. She smiled and stood, untangling herself from Hunter as she peered out at the terrain, seeing a figure off in the distance, and if she squinted enough, she could see a few more not too far away.
“Over here!” Luz shouted, hands cupped around her mouth.
“Ow,” Hunter winced, rubbing at his ears.
“Oh, are they sensitive?” Luz worried, lowering her voice.
“Just a bit, I think I had a concussion earlier.” Hunter said, shaking his head to clear it.
“You’re seeing a healer,” Luz said firmly, looking back out to the figures in the distance. “Cover your ears.”
Hunter grumbled something about Luz being dramatic, covering his ears as Luz continued waving her hands and hollering to the others. It took a moment, but she saw one of them break away before the others followed suit, and Eda’s wild nest of hair could be recognizable from anywhere.
“Are you ready to make formal introductions?” Luz grinned down at Hunter, who slowly drew his hands away from his ears.
“Do I have to?” Hunter whined. “I could just live off the land, making a tent isn’t that hard. I know how to steal.”
“Nice try,” Luz lightly pushed at his head. “Unless you’ve got a proper living space, you’re staying in the Owl House.”
“I’m sixteen, no place in Bonesborough will give me an apartment unless I’m rich.” Hunter complained.
“Precisely,” Luz said simply, offering a hand to him. “Wanna try standing up?”
“I guess,” Hunter grumbled, taking her hand and letting her pull him to his feet.
He stumbled for a moment, hissing and favoring his right foot, and would’ve fallen right back over if Luz didn’t stop his fall with her body, hanging onto his arm to steady him.
“Yeah, that’s sprained. Or twisted, don’t really feel like checking.” Hunter gritted out, Rascal cheeping from his head before flying off, transforming into a staff that Hunter was quick to grab and then lean on, taking his weight off Luz.
“Viney can take a look at it, I’m pretty sure she came with us.” Luz said, grabbing Hunter’s hand and slinging it over her shoulder. “C’mon, let’s meet them halfway. You’re lighter than a sack of lumpy potatoes, it’s not hard to carry you.”
“I resent that,” Hunter growled, though he let her do as she wished. “You're just weirdly strong.”
“You live in the Boiling Isles, you're telling me you're not?” Luz scoffed, beginning to walk with Hunter, who used his staff occasionally to push aside heaps of rock or try and limp himself along.
“Well, I don’t exactly have a frame of reference.” Hunter drawled, looking up, his ears pinning back against his head when he could make out who was approaching in the distance. Luz could now see that King was sitting atop Eda’s shoulder, too.
“You didn’t answer my question,” Luz said, noting Hunter’s nerves suddenly spiking. “Are you ready to meet everyone, outside of, you know, portal mishaps?”
Hunter swallowed, looking down at Luz with something that might’ve been fear swirling in his eyes. He searched her face, closing his eyes and taking in half a breath, anything more causing him to cough, exhaling as he opened his eyes again, facing off towards where the others were gathered, the fear replaced with determination.
“Yeah,” He said, clearing his throat when his voice started to shake. “Yeah, I think so.”
Luz smiled, bumping her body against his, and he looked at her with a smile of his own that might just have been hopeful.
She turned back to call a greeting to her friends as Eda was already scolding her for running off the moment she was in earshot, King wailing something about being worried. Hunter gave them his best crooked smile, despite his earlier claims, insisting she’d only come to drag him out of the rubble.
Yeah, Luz thought as she watched Eda and King pause and look Hunter over, easily slipping into mocking him for how beat up he looked, like nothing had ever gone sideways, and it was any other day in the Isles. They’d be okay.

"Relax, darling!" Kol Mikaelson x male reader
I don't really know what's that supposed to be but I like Kol a lot and... Well, that's it. The title and the gif don't really give a hint of anything, which is sad.
Tumblr media
You never thought much about Klaus's family. Honestly, you never even thought you'd meet them.
The Original Hybrid was more than just your maker. Your savior. He showed you, the last of his hybrids, that you don't have to be a lone wolf.
So, when he said he's going to New Orleans, of course you go together. With or without the sire bond, he had your loyalty.
"Who's that?" You asked him when you guys went to this old house on the French Quarter. The place had some distinct stints. Rain, forest, a little sulfur... Magic.
"Do you remember how the Salvatores killed my little brother, Kol?"
"Yeah, you made me collect his ashes." You rolled your eyes, smirking.
"For a reason. I made some contacts and brought him back. As a witch, even. And I need you to protect him."
You shrugged, not really objecting. Orders were orders. Klaus held one of your shoulders and smiled. "You know you're important to me, right?"
"Yeah, the last of the hybrids and stuff." You agreed.
"Not only because of this." He made you look at him. "You made me feel like I wasn't an abomination that made other abominations when the world said otherwise. I will always be grateful for this."
Smiling, you hugged him. Had to take those rare moments where your alpha would open up so easily. "I love you, Klaus. So, go on. I'll take care of your lil brother.
And so, time goes by. The whole mess about Klaus's baby with the werewolf lost princess Hayley Marshall, Elijah showing up and then Rebekah too.
Apparently they didn't knew about Kol's ressurection, something about Klaus planning stuff.
"You know, love, we could just get out of this bloody house and have some fun, even that if only for a night." Kol said, one afternoon at the house you guys were in. "This place is covered by spells, I can use a glamour and you could... Definitely wear something better."
"Excuse me?" You laughed. "What is wrong with what I wear?"
"Nothing, it's just... Meh. And if you want to get laid with a girl-"
"I like boys, Mikaelson. Well, girls too. Actually, I like everyone. I'm bi, I guess." You shrugged, not really caring about labels.
"Oh. Okay. Well, then you really have to change your style. Be a little hot than just pajamas with crocks." He smirked.
Living with him was surprisingly good. Not as chaotic as Klaus made you think. Kol was as deep as the rest of the family.
One night, really late, he came to your room, asking if you could talk. He opened up about things. How being dead was like and how he missed his littlest brother, a boy named Henrik, even after a thousand years after his death.
And maybe, just maybe (for sure) you were having feelings for him. When he touched your shoulder, you'd have shivers running through your back.
When he talked, you just wanted to close your eyes and appreciate the sound of his voice.
And when he walked around shirtless... Good gods, that made your inner wolf howl.
But he was your alpha's brother. Not only that, he looked straight. So you buried your feelings, as you "should."
When everything was fine and Hayley finally gave birth to the baby, a little girl named Hope to which you instantly liked (because babies, you know? especially such an important baby), Klaus revealed who's the witch that helped him with his enemies.
So, yeah! The Mikaelsons were finally back together, everything was fine for once and they were a family again and all that.
"Hey, where are you going?" Klaus asked, showing up in front of the room you had at his house.
"I have some friends in New York. Gonna spend some time there. I mean, you don't need me anymore." You smiled. Not that you were sad, but it was a fact. He had his family. "Your brother can look out for himself."
"He can, for sure, but I need you around. You're family too, Y/N." Klaus said. "Hope could use an older brother."
"She will have Marcel." You smirked. "I think we both know I'll always be a burden to you, Klaus. I'm the last hybrid, a living memory from a time when you weren't so good as you're today."
"You are absolutely crazy!" He huffed, loudly. "You are not a burden to me, Y/N! You never were! You are important to me, to this family, to Ko-" He interrupted himself, but you got it.
"Kol? I mean, yeah, we're friends, but...
"He likes you, I noticed. You make him happy, even if you're both just too damn stupid to notice it. So, go on! Leave us! Make us feel like garbage for not being enough for you!"
You looked at him, changing glances. And then you both laughed like crazies. "That's low, Klaus!"
"Had to say something to make you stay. So please, stay. And talk with my brother before I have to make you both make out."
Later, during dinner, you sat between Hayley and Rebekah. In front of you, Kol tried to glance without looking obvious, to which he failed.
"Can't you guys just talk? This is making me disgusted. It's annoying. Just fuck already." Rebekah whispered to you. Of course, all the vampires could hear it, so when everyone but Kol giggled, he knew something was up.
"What?"
"Nothing. Your sister is just bugging me." You rolled your eyes, giving a little shoulder bump on her. "We could talk about her and Marcel, what about that!"
"Please, no. It's already too weird that my step-son is dating my sister, I don't need the details."
"Well, Y/N's basically your son too and Kol and him are teasing each other forever. Let's talk about that." Everyone was surprised that Elijah, of all people, came with that. Hayley giggled.
"Ah, well. There's no point in denying that I think this handsome warlock in front of me is hot as fuck." You blinked at him.
"I think I'm full of dinner already. Y/N, please, would you help me with some spells?" Kol got up, and went to you. Without even flinch, you got up and followed him.
Out of their sight, you guys made out passionately. And for a long time during your life (mortal and immortal), everything was fine. More than just fine, you were happy.
BONUS! Meeting Freya, after coming back from the honeymoon.
(because hell yeah you guys got married, and Kol was now a heretic. Something about his blood still having the vampire curse and activated when you guys got attacked by the Strix).
"What the bloody fucking hell have you got us all in now, Niklaus?!" Your husband said right after the teleport he casts worked on you both.
"Like we didn't had enough to give us headaches." Rebekah huffed, but came to you, giving a hug. "I missed you so much. How was Paris?"
"Great. We had the time of a life in there. The food was great, the fashion too, until a bunch of crazy Elijahs wannabe came after us!" You glanced to your former Alpha. "Could've told us there was a sireline war going on."
"I didn't knew. Until Lucian told me."
"Urgh. Lucian Castle. I remember when you introduced us to each other. I hate that guy. He's clearly jealous of you." You noticed, and then went to get some bourbon. And finally, you noticed her. "Hello?"
"Oh, yeah. That's our oldest sister. Long story short, she was not dead, but cursed to sleep for a hundred years. Meet Freya." Klaus introduced you to her. "This is Y/N, Kol's husband and a hybrid."
"Nice to meet you." She greeted. "Seems like I'm the only one without a person, huh?"
"I know a girl I could introduce to you." You smiled, already planning everything.
"Easy, Y/N, she's my sister, not a toy." Kol joked.
"Shut up." You smirked. Hayley called you, and came to the room with Hope on her shoulders. "Oh my god, she's all grown up!"
The Mikaelsons smiled. Even after all that time, it was so good to see Kol and you together.

"Play the Game" Masterlist
The sun hasn’t even risen when Nanami came to consciousness as usual. It did not matter whether he was on vacation or working, he just automatically wakes up at the same time each and every morning without miss. It’s regardless of whether he slept enough or not. He saw no point in tarrying in bed – it was unproductive – and immediately got up without skipping a beat in his routine.
“You’re too vanilla,” he remembered you commenting when you stayed one weekend at his place in the city for an art symposium, having met him on the hallway on your way to bed after staying up all night playing video games. He just brushed your remark off with a grunt back then, but at present, he couldn’t help but muse over the fact that everything he did reminded him of you.
It was a bit light outside when he emerged from the adjoining bath of the guest room. He threw on a pair of grey sweats and a white shirt and grabbed a water bottle and a small towel on his way out of the room, mind set on going for a run. If there was something great about staying at Gojo Manor, it was the fact that it was surrounded with acres of grassland and forest with trails great for walks and jogs.
Nanami particularly grew fond of the path that led to the lake at the bottom of the hill where the mansion stood. There was a direct view of it from the balcony at the back of the structure, appearing like a jewel in the middle of the woods, and it had always been his favorite spot. The late former clan head told him it was man-made and has been there for more than a century that it became a natural feature of the estate. It was a spot in the property with a great history and great value to the clan, thus his gravitation towards it.
It’s her favorite place in the whole estate, too, he thought indulgently.
Inhaling deeply, he set out to the back doors that led to the patio and the walled gardens, starting in a slow jog before building his momentum as he reached open grounds.
And thus, his day began as such.
He came back from his run when it was already too hot, heaving deep breaths and desperate for a shower as his white shirt and grey sweats stuck to his body, drenched in sweat. His leg muscles ached, but it had been a good run.
Greetings from the staff met him as he reentered the manor which he returned with polite nods. He was headed to the stairs when he passed by the breakfast room and happened to hear Gojo talking to you. It went against his principles to eavesdrop in an evidently private conversation but he stayed rooted on his spot upon hearing you speak.
Despite your seeming foul temper upon leaving him the previous night, you seemed to have bounced back to your usual self, your tone sounding more jovial than usual. Your words were at odds to your tone as you told Gojo not to piss you off so early in the morning.
"Are you sure there's nothing going on between you and Kento?" Gojo asked just as the person in question was about to pass the doorway.
"It's really none of your business," you responded, voice devoid of any emotions. He did it, Gojo. He finally fouled up your mood.
"But I'm your brother!" Gojo protested, acting all dumb around you again. He just had that complex where you were concerned. He has always been very soft on you yet he was also fiercely protective. You hated his attention though. Yours was a strange dynamic.
"Worry about your wedding, will you? Geez. Don’t you have a luncheon to host?"
"Why did you kiss him then? On the mouth no less!"
Nanami’s heart skipped a beat, anticipation rising like cold water from his toes going up his chest. He wanted to hear what you had to say. Fuck principles. He needed his answers, too. It did not matter in what way he was getting them at that rate. He was secretly hoping you will say something a little bit more revealing about what goes inside your head given that he cannot just pry inside it even if he wanted to.
"Because I wanted to." You stated it so matter-of-factly that Gojo was at a loss for words for a moment. “Didn’t you hear me? I was dying to do that since he arrived.”
“You’re not serious, are you?”
“You tell me.” That’s becoming your signature line. “You won’t understand unless you kiss, Nanamin, too,” the tenor of your words turning fanciful. “He has such an alluring taste to him.”
What is this woman on about?
“Oh, god, stop it!”
"You should have seen the looks on your faces though. I was half expecting your eyeballs to roll on the floor. Wouldn’t that have been grand? It’s definitely shocking but a good subject for art if not a medium." At that, you laughed, the sound hitting Nanami like tinkling bells. It was such a happy sound that reminded him of better days although the thought that prompted it was utterly macabre. “Maybe that should inspire my next work. It would be like Munch’s The Scream, the next of its kind.”
"Hmm. Good point…” Gojo mumbled, sidetracked, obviously sharing your sentiments on the idea of such grotesqueness, but regained his composure just as quickly. “It's not funny!"
"But it is." Your laughter subsided as quickly as it erupted from your throat as if it wasn't even there to begin with. Your capricious nature was surfacing once more, and if there was something that was more frightening than your strong, habitual liking for trifling with people, it was that. "So what if I have other intentions behind it? Are you gonna get mad at me or something?”
"Well, do you?!" Gojo sounded like a manatee on the throes of death.
“But what are you going to do, brother? Stop me perhaps?"
He of all people should know just how unstoppable you were when you have set yourself into doing something. “N-no –”
“And what if Nanamin has the same intentions? What will you do then?”
“Hey, that’s enough of you. I know you’re trying to trap me into saying something again.” He clucked his tongue. “I seem to be the only one who isn’t in on your games, and if it is one, I have to know. You’re just way too outrageous these days that I cannot tell what’s serious and what’s not anymore.”
Gojo took a deep breath, sounding distressed as he exhaled. “Is there something else going on?”
"Maybe,” you answered noncommittally.
"That's not an answer at all!" he snapped.
You clucked your tongue, sounding irritated. "Stop screaming, Satoru."
"Do you like him?"
“Is your emphasis on that word supposed to change its meaning?”
If Nanami’s heart was skipping earlier, it has now stopped completely, robbing him of air as it seemed to have affected his lungs, too. You were maddening, not only to Gojo but to him as well. It was evident that you were in your gaming mood again, and although you were only intentionally riling your brother, he was also directly in your line of assault.
Gojo sighed in defeat, mirroring Nanami’s feelings. “Y/N, please, just answer the question,” he whined.
“I guess.” There was a pause then you said, "I mean, what's not to like?"
"What?!"
“Like it or not, Nanamin is a very excellent specimen of the male populace. He’s fucking irresistible and that’s an understatement.” You scoffed. "Even you like him."
Your voice was followed by your footsteps as you neared the door. In a daze at your vocal expression of how you find him physically attractive, instead of backtracking, Nanami stepped forward and collided with your form, nearly knocking you off your feet. He was after all twice your size and a good foot taller than you.
"Careful," he said between deep breaths, one arm securing you by the waist while his other arm gripped onto the door jamb, the position making the veins and sinews of his arm rather pronounced.
“Speak of the devil…” You straightened up, not making any effort to hide the fact that you were checking him out. Your head turned towards the direction of the breakfast room, making him mimic the action only to see Gojo standing slack-jawed, watching what was unfolding before him with eyes wide with shock. Nanami could've sworn his best friend just went into a state of catatonia.
"Didn't see you there," you said, addressing Nanami, your blue eyes assessing him as if in suspicion.
"I'm sorry," he muttered under his breath, feeling the tips of his ears heating up. Before you could notice, he stepped aside, heading towards the direction of the stairs.
"Hey, Nanamin," you suddenly called, making him halt and turn his head to your direction. You were smirking at the direction of your brother as you said, "Nice ass."
He shook his head. It was really just a ploy to get to Gojo’s nerves, and he was your pawn.
**
The sound of graphite scratching on paper like a harsh slash of sword punctuated the impending absence of thought in your mind. Nothing mattered but the sight of your hand gripping a pencil as it created unintelligible strokes on the plain page of the sketchbook on your lap. It progressed to furious scribbling, your movements becoming faster, the sound dominating your corner of the room. Everything has been drowned out – the endless chattering, the sound of porcelain and silverware hitting each other in chaotic cacophony – heightening in a painful crescendo of auditory abomination and dying in the air, overwhelmed by the picture you were creating on the blank expanse of space.
“You must be so proud of your daughter.”
Scratch.
“Who wouldn’t be? It must be great to have geniuses for children”
Scratch.
“She’s just as famous as Satoru.”
Scratch.
Just like that, they didn't exist. The room was empty save for you and the view outside the window coming to life on paper. Your eyes darted from your sketch to the familiar yet equally exhilarating view just outside the parlor. Gojo was animatedly talking about something, easily excitable as always. His fiancée laughed on the side while Nanami was witheringly eyeing him, stoic as always. Shoko, who arrived the previous evening, also joined the group. All that was missing was Geto. You wondered if you should draw him somewhere in the sketch.
The image before you reminded you of those days when reality seemed far away, back when Gojo was still a student, exceptional as always but still young, not the renowned genius tycoon he was at present. His friends would always be around him, lounging around the manor like they hadn't a care in the world.
His crowd grew in number with Geto and Nanami being the two closest pals he had. Shoko joined in shortly in middle school. On the other hand, Utahime came during his university days, also starting off as Gojo’s friend and eventually becoming his girlfriend. Now they were about to get married and it seemed to punctuate all the changes that came with being the grown-ups that they are.
It scared you.
Fact is, growing up and growing old and the changes that come with it was terrifying. Even if you yourself were already twenty four, seemingly had your life together and appearing to have matured without a hitch, that wasn’t the case at all. Genius or not, your brother also had his issues even while he was rising to his current position in society.
The problem was within you, you knew it. That and the fact that you did not really know what growing means. Your work grew, matured like crazy. You didn’t think you yourself grew, stuck in those days when everything was relatively easier. At least then, you only had to worry about your classmates hating on you. Now a part of the public did.
Looking at Gojo and his gang, they’ve all handled that well, making you wonder how they did it. He is one of the youngest CEOs in the country, having built his business empire at just seventeen. Your future sister-in-law is a professor, Geto is a sought-after model and Shoko is a forensic pathologist. They were all great at what they did, struggled as well, but came out with perfect grace.
However, you think the best one out of them was none other than the object of your pining – Nanami Kento. The man made transitioning to adulthood look rather easy. Maybe it was because he had always been mature and held himself in perfect equilibrium. Sure, he was no Gojo Satoru, but he was innately intelligent and became one of the youngest barristers who held the position of a famous attorney’s partner. He handled controversial cases and is one of the best prosecutors in the country with a high winning percentage. His work aside, he seemed to have the least struggle out of everyone.
Your lips curled up at the corners at the thought of the man. Your gaze flicked to him from the sketchbook, sitting there with a beverage in his hand, the noon sun glimmering on his hair and the planes of his face, looking more laid back without a blazer on. He was dressed rather casually in a pair of khaki trousers and dusty blue button-ups, but he still looked smart. He always dressed that way which you found very attractive although seeing him in more casual clothes like that morning was another level of hot altogether. He’s quite a bit formal, making him seem monotonous, but it’s that consistency that you liked about him. It was only a bonus that he was devastatingly handsome with those sharp features and the suits made him look so sexy in that it left everything about his real physique to imagination.
One just could not get enough of him, at least you couldn’t, but you did see how his partner’s paralegal eyeballed him all the time. (You secretly wanted to gouge her eyes out.) That’s the kind of man Nanami was. He doesn’t speak much, but when he does, it leaves profound dents to one’s psyche. And man, was he hot in court! He’s fucking sarcastic when he wants to be, to the point of being vile, but one just can’t get offended with the kind of logic he has. Once he speaks his mind, one wishes he wouldn’t stop, but he does and leaves that person craving more, his hypnotic, deep voice a rare treat. He wasn’t big on actions, wasn’t expressive, but when he does something, it’s always with purpose and precision, never over the top and always with disciplined stoicism.
You chuckled quietly, your pencil drawing perfect strokes of his hair when you were pulled out of your trance.
“Yuuji!” you heard Gojo say, pulling your attention to the direction of the window.
You broke into a grin at the mention of the name, hurriedly getting on your feet and running out of the room, deaf to your mother’s protests against your unladylike behavior – the commotion foreign to the ladies in the room who moved with the minutest rustles. You made your way out to the patio, that familiar tuft of pink hair coming into your line of vision. You sprinted through the glass doors towards the person whose name your brother called, smile wide and genuine.
“You kept me waiting long enough,” you called out, voice louder than usual. You’re hardly ever giddy nor were you easily excitable like your brother, but Itadori Yuuji was a different story altogether. You loved the boy with a fierceness akin to a mother and were always ecstatic to be around him but suppressed it by acting gruff. You were crazy like that.
“That’s because you won’t help me with my final requirements,” he retorted good-naturedly, wrapping his arm around your shoulder and nuzzling the back of your head as if you were a fuzzy plush toy, making you drop your drawing implements. Well, you were considerably smaller than him, and he was probably the only one who could do that to you and get away unscathed.
You rolled your eyes, noticing how Gojo had picked up your stuff, looking at the page where it was opened. “You should exert yourself more. You’re no genius after all.”
“That’s mean!”
You smirked at him, your eyes straying to your brother who was smiling at your drawing. He had such a proud, fond look on his face that you couldn’t do anything but stare. He has always been ever since you first held crayons and drew him as a cat. “You even included Suguru,” he cooed, pointing at the missing person you included then proceeding to show it off to his friends. “Guys, look. My baby sister drew us.”
“Surprise, surprise,” you sallied, but you were happy that he’s always showing you off.
Utahime and Shoko stood beside him, also looking at the sketch. The latter raised a thumb at your direction. “Damn, kid. You’re really great at what you do. How do you make things come alive with just a pencil?”
You smiled awkwardly. “I –”
“Give it here,” Nanami suddenly butted in, hand reaching for the sketchpad which Gojo promptly handed him.
You felt Yuuji elbowing you while you stood there, observing the man who was in possession of your drawing.
Nanami blinked then, handing it back to you. “How come I don’t have a face?” he asked, expression expectant of your response.
Annoyed, you snatched it back from him.
“It’s obviously not finished yet,” Shoko commented, but she couldn’t have been more wrong.
It was not that you cannot, but you would never draw his face. Ever. You tried tons of times if the tens of pages of sketchpads at your apartment filled with different angles and parts of him would be a basis for that. You could draw everything else about him, just not his face. No amount of contemplation and practice helped you to know why, but you attributed it to the fact that you could not do his face justice, at least in the sense that you would not be able to bring it to life as Shoko said.
Finally, you said, “I didn’t feel like drawing your face.” You turned away, dragging Yuuji with you. The boy was still giggling like a hyena until you got to the second-floor balcony where you propped yourself up on the balustrade, looking sulky.
"You might fall there, you know," he commented, jumping up the marble balustrade to join you.
"I can say the same for you," came your quiet reply. "Where's Megumi?"
“He’ll be here before lunch.” Yuuji leaned close to you with a mischievous grin on his face. “What, or rather who, is that look on your face for?”
"I think you know the answer to that."
"Did you tell Nanamin?" He addressed the man just as you did and got away with it, too, for some reason.
"Tell him what?"
He scoffed playfully. "Are you seriously playing this game with me? I'm your best buddy. I know everything."
"As irritating as that is, it's true."
Yuuji pouted at you. "I heard what you did yesterday. Why do you have to make games out of everything?"
"That's how I communicate. I thought you knew everything."
Harsh as always, he thought. "Be a normal person for once and just tell him." His brows knit together. "Well, you're anything but normal," he mused aloud. “I meant that nicely.”
You blew a raspberry. "You're just as normal as I am if you claim to be my best friend. Which you are. No take backs."
Yuuji couldn't help but smile at that. You have always been a loner and you did not mind being alone. He was grateful you wanted him around despite that.
"But you should stop doing this. He wants you. It's obvious."
"It's not that simple."
"What isn't simple? If it's Satoru, he'll understand for sure if you just try to be honest. I'm sure he just isn't for it more because he doesn't know how you feel. I mean, if I were him, I'll also protect my baby sister from my male friends. That's just how it is."
You blinked, pivoting your whole body so you were facing him.
"Well, of course, Nanamin needs to fight for it, too," he was quick to throw in, rambling to himself when he suddenly felt you reach out towards him, gently running your fingers through his pink hair. He leaned towards your touch, smiling contentedly.
"Don't worry about me. I'm fine."
"I'm not –"
You narrowed your eyes at him. "Are you seriously playing this game with me?" you asked, mimicking his words earlier. "I'm your best buddy. I know everything, one of them being the fact that you worry worse than my mother."
Yuuji jumped off the balustrade, reaching out to grab you in a bear hug despite your protestations. Just like how you were with everyone else, you shunned his affection, but he knew better than to let go when you were saying exactly that. He found that trait of yours adorable.
"You're so irritating," you hissed, flipping your platinum white hair over your shoulder when you finally managed to get off his grip but he wrapped an arm over your shoulder nonetheless, undeterred by your words.
"You know you love me."
"Shut up."
Yuuji pouted. "You sound like Megumi."
"I heard that," the person in question suddenly spoke from the direction of the entry, his deep voice making you and Yuuji turn towards him. "They're calling everyone for lunch."
Yuuji followed behind as you approached Megumi, also one of your closest friends and practically your brother, keeping you in check more than Gojo ever can.
"Guess what," Megumi said to you as you walked beside him. In one of the rare moments you would see it, he grinned and you knew it wasn't because of anything good.
"What?" you and Yuuji, who thought the same by the look on his face, chorused.
"Nobara switched your name card with Miwa's. You're now seated next to your man candy. You're welcome."
“Isn’t that more of a perk for Miwa? She’s scared shitless of Nanamin, you know.”
The three of you laughed while Yuuji could just shake his head at the inescapable trouble that will follow. His only consolation was that it’s fun when it involves you.
**
What were the odds, Nanami thought to himself. He didn't have to look twice to see whose name it was on the card on the spot next to him. He exhaled loudly, unfolding the napkin and placing it on his lap. This could only lead to hullabaloo he was not exactly in the mood to deal with especially after you just told him you did not feel like drawing his face. You sure were mean when you wanted to be.
He surveyed his vicinity. Your father, the current head of the clan from whence your blue eyes came from, was seated at the head of the table, your mother to his right, while Utahime’s parents sat to his left. It seemed to have been the only formalities observed in the arrangement. From across Nanami sat Utahime and Gojo while on his right were a couple he only knew as cousins to the Gojo main family.
He was internally pinching the bridge of his nose. You really had to be the one seated next to him and right across your annoying brother, too.
The luncheon started without you. It wasn't a formal gathering after all except they were serving a full-course meal. It was more of a way to get everyone to know one another over the week for some reason he cannot fathom, and he was glad that only your father was the one who had engaged him in a conversation, mostly about work. It was easy enough to deal with.
"Where are Y/N and her friends?" your mother asked Gojo out of the blue.
Utahime, answering for the clueless person beside her, pointed towards the direction of the door to the banquet hall where you were leisurely walking towards your designated seat with Yuuji and Megumi. The former rounded the table to sit next to Gojo.
"Still managing to be late even when you're already at the venue, baby sis?" Nanami heard Gojo say as you assumed your seat. It was evident in the way his eyes shifted from Nanami to you that your tardiness wasn't exactly the problem.
You blatantly ignored his comment and turned your attention to Nanami. "Had a good run this morning, Nanamin?"
"Just so," he answered, side-glancing at you.
"Yeah. You looked super hot this morning," you said just as Gojo was taking a sip from his wine glass.
Megumi snorted when the older male started choking on his drink while Yuuji was trying hard not to laugh.
Nanami knew he would have reacted the same way except that he had been bracing himself for whatever you will say the moment Gojo opened his mouth. Of course you will use him in your counter attack. It's yet another game, not that he was less affected by your words.
"You should have seen him, Iori," you continued, addressing your brother's fiancée. "He looks so much less uptight in casual clothes."
It didn't escape Nanami’s notice how Gojo was looking at him. He looked about ready to drop onto the floor, but paid him no mind as he leveled his mouth to your ear. "Y/N, let's not make your dear brother snap, shall we?"
"Oh, sweetheart, maybe that's what he needs right now," you deadpanned, meeting his gaze squarely, your disposition unreadable as you let your eyes linger on him longer than was deemed appropriate.
Yuuji finally laughed, earning him a kick to the shins under the table courtesy of Megumi.
What it was about you that made everything else irrelevant and nonexistent when you’re that close to him was something beyond him. You always made him lose control, tempted him to break the rules. He only knew he couldn't act on it. Most of the time anyway. He also felt like laughing, oddly enough.
Utahime just chuckled good-naturedly breaking the tension. "Since the two of you are here, I should tell you that the final fitting for your clothes for the wedding is this afternoon. So, you better go together at the shop."
"Traitor." Gojo pouted at Utahime but nobody was really paying attention to him anymore. For someone so important to society with a flawless image, the closest people around him sure were good at disregarding him when they deemed it fit.
"Okay," Nanami said, looking at you for confirmation.
It was you who looked away this time. "I'm free."
"That's set then." Utahime clapped her hands and to Nanami she cheekily said, "Maybe wear something less formal."
At that, you grinned wickedly at him. So much for avoiding trouble with you.
-end of part 2-
*I used “you” here, but since my character is Gojo’s little sister who is established to be his female clone for reasons essential to the plot, she possesses the same blue eyes and white hair. I did not exactly want to create an OC (although technically, I did by describing Y/N), but I opted for the best of both worlds in this fic, leaning more towards the literary aspect of it as opposed to it just being reader/you-oriented. I hope this isn’t iffy to anyone, and yeah, i’m not being exclusive or whatever.
