Ive always said I'd rather die than leave someone but that's far from the truth. I just see some kind of moral superiority in staying no matter what, no matter how annoying, uninteresting, mean, or even straight up abusive someone is. James Marriott -> obvious choice! As a prev Lovejoy fan, I can tell all of you you'd really anjoy his music.

Together Pangea -> typically fast paced, garage pop, or whatever you want to call it. They also have a small US tour happening soon!

Half·Alive -> you may have heard them from 'Creature' from their album 'Now, not yet'. I highly recommend these guys; very lyrical and have an insanely beautiful mix of jazz, rock and pop.

The Frights -> another indie rock/pop band! Has some really fast paced stuff, and some calmer acoustic stuff.

I've seen a lot of people saying 'seperate the art from the artist!' but, full honesty, go listen to new music! I can't take back the emotional attachment I had to his old music, especially YCMGA, but listening to his shit gives him money, and there is no way I'm giving money to an abuser. Let alone, it's become glaringly obvious that the e-girl trilogy isn't a persona, that was just him. Let alone the theme of Your Sister Was Right.

Plus, he's said multiple times that the money and the fame was all he cared about; he would disappear for months and, when he wanted attention and money, would come back to a dedicated fan-base who gave him exactly what he wanted.

i think shigaraki tomura has dermatillomania and trichotillomania

i still see people speculate on why shigaraki scratches himself and as someone with both of these disorders it just seems like it’s more rooted in his extremely severe anxiety & trauma rather than his quirk itself.

i’ve never been a fan of people calling tomura “crusty” for this exact speculation just because it hits rlly close to home for me

trichotillomania: a compulsive hair pulling disorder

these disorders often manifest in people who have severe anxiety, although the exact cause has not yet been identified. both of these disorders often go hand-in-hand and it’s common for someone with dermatillomania to also have trichotillomania and vice versa. they are both closely related to OCD symptoms.

dermatillomania and trichotillomania alike often spike during unbearable amounts of heavy emotions, such as anxiety or rage as a coping mechanism — but can also occur absentmindedly when an individual is bored. where, sometimes, someone may zone out in a daze and scratch at their skin or pull their hair out without even knowing they’re doing it. occasionally, they might even not remember.

individuals with trichotill or dermatill are unable to just “stop” picking or pulling. it is compulsive.

tomura has expressed that the “itchiness” would only occur while he was at home, which we all know affected tomura’s mental & physical well-being negatively. tomura struggled with his fathers abuse alone, as his family didn’t want to intervene — despite seeing the neglect & abuse inflicted on tomura regularly.

this was before tomura’s quirk was even awakened. that’s why i don’t think it’s related to his quirk at all.

in tomura’s adult years, tomura is often depicted scratching himself while he’s stressed or angry.

these are two very substantial emotions that might be difficult for some individuals with dermatill /+ trichotill to regulate, usually resulting in a flare up of picking and or pulling to soothe themselves because of the sheer overflow of emotion. tomura’s “chapped” lips could also be due to dermatillomania beginning to advance into his adolescence as we hadn’t seen him with the blemished lips when he was a child; only when he was an adult.

although on the more subtle side of things, in terms of why i believe tomura has trichotillomania is due to him being depicted with no eyebrows as an adult.

in his earlier years, he was shown to have eyebrows, but for some reason as an adult he lacks them.

as i mentioned previously, dermatillomania and trichotillomania often co-occur. it’s possible that he developed tricho in his adolescent years as well as more and more stress was beginning to topple on his shoulders.

He used to be a pastor and now he’s like a christian influencer with a lot of followers. He’s like the most religious person I ever met. Religion has traumatized me because my dad kept brainwashing me to the point I was so scared of dying because I didn’t want to go to hell. 😭😭 Obviously, I’m not religious anymore because I’m here talking about naks. He irks me sm 😭😭😭 He’s very much conservative and traditional. He got disappointed that I haven’t gone to church and mentions god every time we talk, it drives me nuts! I can’t have a convo without him trying to convert me! He plays loud christian music everyday. It’s so annoyinggg 💀My dad is very much image conscious and wants to look good in-front of people. How he presents himself on the outside is not at all how he is behind closed doors. Like people see him as this gentle, kind and appealing person. so, for one, he’s manipulative. he has no combinations in twisting the truth or dodging it entirely for his own benefit. like, the man could stand in front of his dead best friend’s orphaned son & not even allude to the fact that he knew his dad. he had no problem bringing james & lily up in the most twisted ways possible to guilt/emotionally influence harry. so remus in a relationship would have the capacity to either knowingly or unknowingly manipulate his partner. the definition of gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss except more sinister.

next, his spinelessness. either as a defensive measure to deal w anti-werewolf hostility or as an innate personality trait, remus has the habit of just—not standing up for things. he looks away when his friends act like assholes, even when he’s in a position of authority (which yes, u can argue that he’s afraid of losing them but atp they’ve literally risked life & magic & azkaban for him so either way, he comes off badly—either he doesn’t mind himself, or he doesn’t fully trust their friendship, or it’s just easier to look away). in a relationship, this can manifest as bottling everything inside u until it makes u bitter or u violently unload on the other person in an entirely disproportionate manner. the dynamic would also be a bit skewed. the people pleasing u mentioned is also such a big thing that people usually overlook. when ur constantly trying to make the other person happy and don’t want to rock the boat, that is a cocktail for miscommunication and breakdown of relationships. ur also constantly putting the emotional burden of constructively dealing w issues on ur partner instead of doing it urself.

connected to his cowardice is his habit of running away when things get tough. remus is conflict avoidant; he does not like to put himself in a position where he has to take a decisive stance, especially if it’s against what others around him believe in. he runs away when things get tough, and tbh, for me, this comes from a constant spiral of self hatred & self victimisation, both of which stem from his experience as a werewolf. in every difficult situation, he centres himself & his discomfort and instead of dealing with it and moving forward for a constructive solution, he decides that stepping back from it altogether is better. which, yeah, works well for him bc he can temporarily put a pin in it but it’s kinda terrible for everyone’s who’s left behind. so i also think that remus is a profoundly selfish character who doesn’t look beyond the end of his own nose. u can imagine how those traits might manifest themselves in a relationship.

and his people pleasing!! so this might be verging on fanon but his gratitude and/or devotion to dumbledore sets an…interesting tone. it’s also another example of how he cannot conceive himself in any other term except as a victimised werewolf. the marauders did a lot for him, arguably even more than dumbledore’s token representation formula, but he never felt indebted to them the way he did for D. dumbledore also kind of makes him feel needed? validates his feelings? and that just speaks to a very twisted sense of self for me. which, again, won’t bode well for his other interpersonal relations.

also, on a very hc note, i also feel like remus just…does not have any significant capacity to love. he takes and takes and takes but doesn’t give much in return. this doesn’t even have to be an actively malicious decision, tbh, just a very self-centred one. he doesn’t realise how much he’s taking bc he’s only thinking about his own circumstances.

all of these are also just why i can’t see r/s working out in any healthy manner. remus is exactly antithetical to everything sirius is/believes in, and not even in the fun ‘opposites attract’ way. but that’s another rant no one asked for lmao

They still wouldn't, even now that you were married to the Number 2 hero. He reminds you a lot of Touya, in a way. He'll never be him, but you can't spend your whole life mourning a boy you loved as a child. You're happy, especially now that you have your son, who looks similar to his father in that he has his wings and the markings around his eyes, but those eyes are yours. He has your face too. Touya wants to hate the child, but he can't. Not when he makes you so happy. Not when he looks just like you. He's only a child after all. Children shouldn't bear the burden of an adult's regrets.

He wants to tell you that he survived. He's always wanted to tell you, but he knew it was for the best if he stayed away. He tried to ignore you. You think that maybe if you can just find him, you can start to make sense of things, but when you finally come face to face with him, it only makes things harder.

He's standing right there. He'd still been watching you and he'd caught on to you trying to track him down, so he let you. Like a fool.

Now the both of you are standing here, staring into the eyes of the one person you never thought that you could live without for the first time in over a decade and everything feels the same, but you're both painfully aware of just how different things are now. You're terrified to speak and petrified by thr thought of letting him slip through your fingers again. You don't know what to say and neither does he, so you don't speak.

You close the distance, slowly at first, but when he takes his first hesitant step forward, you run into his arms and you embrace for what feels like forever, though you know it'll never last long enough.

okay so i have a wild theory about what the final showdown in the animator vs animations series could be…..just as a forewarning i am writing this at a fever pitch at 3 am and i joined the fandom like 2 and some change days ago so, if anything is blatantly wrong i extend my deepest of apologies for not consuming the lore hard enough. anyway ONTO MY CRACKPOT THEORY. (under the cut)

I fully believe that Victim (and im 99.9999999Eipie% sure its him) wants the Chosen One captured in his facility for one of two possible reasons: 1) to persuade him (or coerce him) into helping Vic take down Alan (who still hasn’t reckoned with his earliest crimes against Vic) once and for all, or 2) skip the middle step altogether and just straight up steal the Chosen One’s powers for himself (and possibly his clone army.)

I am leaning toward believing the second, because we’ve already seen that TCO is willing to let bygones be bygones towards Alan. He helped ward off the ViraBot from Alan’s computer, fought TDL with Alan and the others without protest, and didn’t attempt to initiate a fight with Alan’s cursor after everything was said and done. He didn’t even care about Alan when he went to recruit TSC’s help in part VI, so I highly doubt that Vic would be able to turn him against Alan with pure rhetoric or appeal to emotions.

You see, I think Vic is building something in his facility. We can see all his worker bees milling around clearly doing something of importance, what that is exactly, we dont know. And we likely wont know until one or two episodes down the line. But, I will hazard a guess and say that he is building something to extract TCO’s powers. What would be the best way to exact righteous vengeance on Alan and his cohorts? That’s right, by turning The Chosen One’s all powerful abilities against the person who wished life upon him. If he bestowed TCO’s powers unto his hoard of loyal minions? EVEN BETTER. whats worse then a single pissed off Chosen One? A Thousand. Alan couldnt beat 2 of them, so suffice to say, if Vic is planning something even remotely like what i’m suggesting; we should all be supremely terrified of the next arc.

edit: gonna add another thought here. i dont think Vic will want to target the outside Internet like The Dark Lord, because he simply isn’t interested in it. The internet didn’t cause him any harm or emotional damage, but ALAN did. He wants revenge on ALAN, so he may use and abuse the internet as he sees fit to gain whatever edge he can, but his ultimate goal isn’t to invade the internet or destroy it or whatever like TDL, no, his vendetta is more personal, more targeted, more conniving. Also, out of universe, we’ve been seeing more and more of the Stick world, like their cities and grasslands, so I’m gonna assume that Vic’s conflict with Alan and TCO+TSC will continue in that setting. IDK, im rambling at this point XD

edit 2 electric boogaloo: ALSO THE CELL VIC PUTS THE CHOSEN ONE IN IS A BLANK WHITE VOID, LIKE THE WHITE PAGE OF AN ANIMATION SOFTWARE ‼️ dude i am so convinced Vic wants to manipulate him somehow or steal his powers like fr you can’t convince me otherwise atp save for some VERY compelling evidence to the contrary
