yeah dark magic makes you sacrifice healthy living people without asking them first to save your king, who also doesn't want it. yeah if it worked he'd be walking around with his soul in your body wearing your face while your loved ones just have to deal with it. yeah it encourages you to use sapient creatures with families and languages for spell parts. you have to shove blood and body parts of creatures into your mouth and consume them and maybe people also. the smell? yeah it makes you smell like literal death but only because it destroys your body along the way don't worry. after you use it the first time you get scary nightmare dreams that you may or may not ever wake up from. if you use it even once this other scary guy can reach inside your body and puppet you and make you do terrible things against your will. but it's totally neutral and not here just to talk about power and desperation like it can be used ethically and sustainably long term i promise

He’s the best!! My favorite character on the show 💞 and so underrated. I love how he framed Frost for murder and later barely even needed to apologize before the show decided they were a couple! We stan a low-effort romance 🥰

And him being so determined to get Frost back that he was willing to work with a villain and double-cross everyone, and also being willing to kill Khione with no qualms…yet still being shocked when no one trusted him? As he should!! He deserved better!!

And the show validating his fantasies about Khione by making her kiss him awake? Iconic!! Second chance romance my beloved!!
