Ugh I despise this ship so much. The two of them don’t even have any chemistry! Caitlin has more chemistry with Barry than she does with Iris…and Caitlin deserves sooo much better than Iris anyway. Such a blatant example of “pair the spares”, I’m so glad it was never canon

Ah, yes, clearly my most hated of ships. Certainly not the ship I've written for *glances at Ao3* the most for and absolutely not a ship I'd write *glances back at Ao3 again* 124 (and counting) fics for. Ooooh no, it is truly the worst and most hated ship.

I mean... the ship would be full of belligerent UST. And of course I would never ship anything that had that in it. Like ColdFlash. And sweet, heroic Cisco paired with a guy who tried to kill (or at least very badly maim) Cisco's best friend? I would never. Just like I'd never ship Barry with a guy who kidnapped Cisco. Truly I would never enjoy a ship full of messy or complicated relationship issues like that. *nods sagely* *quietly closes the ao3 tab*

Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that trauma was a game to you. If it's so easy to just stop being traumatised, then you should've said something to Elain about that a whole book ago? Or perhaps said something to Mor 5 centuries ago. Since Cassian made it clear 50 times a day that he's 'seen it before' and 'knows what she's feeling' or whatever, he must clearly be the expert on the situation. Imagine how much easier life will be now that everyone can just stop being traumatised.

Let's be serious for a moment though, if it was that easy, Cassian might have actually stopped making himself the victim in every scenario regarding Nesta throughout all of ACOFAS and ACOSF.

The fact SJM wrote it so Cassian, who said shit like this, was the one in the right the whole time in ACOSF makes me wanna puke.

Opinion about Barry's whump?

I hate Barry whump. Hurt him less ffs. Seriously, poor guy has been through ENOUGH. He gets hurt way too often, it’s actually ridiculous. My least favorite scenes are the ones where he’s getting hurt; it’s lame, it makes him seem weak, and it annoys the fuck out if me.

Like 2x06, when Zoom beat the shit out of Barry and ran him around the city?? I got nothing out of that. So so boring.

I definitely don’t dedicate countless hours of my life to hurting him specifically in fanfiction. “Barry Allen whump” definitely isn’t my favorite tag on ao3. I definitely don’t get a huge smile on my face every time I see, read, or think about him hurt.

Overall, happened too much. HURT HIM LESS

He’s the best!! My favorite character on the show 💞 and so underrated. I love how he framed Frost for murder and later barely even needed to apologize before the show decided they were a couple! We stan a low-effort romance 🥰

And him being so determined to get Frost back that he was willing to work with a villain and double-cross everyone, and also being willing to kill Khione with no qualms…yet still being shocked when no one trusted him? As he should!! He deserved better!!

And the show validating his fantasies about Khione by making her kiss him awake? Iconic!! Second chance romance my beloved!!

Coldflash? Terrible. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I would certainly never buy fan merch for a ship such as this.

A hero? And a villain? In love????? Preposterous. Ridiculous.

Besides, Barry is definitely straight. Would never discuss the Arrow's penetrative capabilities with Felicity or agree with Cisco that they stand no chance at love when Eddie is that hot. Certainly would not engage in homoerotic behavior with one of his villains by slamming him against the wall and gazing soulfully into each other's eyes.

And clearly Snart is also straight since he would never pout over not receiving the Flash's attention, never get jealous that his partner in crime wants to abandon him for other men who crowned Mick as their king, never try to find the good in himself just because Barry insisted it was there.

Ah, no, ColdFlash is clearly just a very awful fanon thing with nothing in canon that could possibly make anyone want to ship it. Just two straight guys who hate each other on sight. Yup, yup.
