Acting Inspiration

Oh, gosh. Well there are so many. Meryl Streep, obviously. Viola Davis, obviously. More recently, I was blown away by Enzo Vogrincic in Society of the Snow. And Eden Dambrine in Close.

Cast Camaraderie

I loved working with all my co-stars. I’m practically related to Jayden [Revri] and Kassius [Nelson] at this point. Yuyu [Kitamura] is a dream. Jenn [Lyon] is mother hen. Bri[ana Cuoco] is the cool older sister. Josh[ua Colley] is the cheeky cousin. Ruth [Connell] is the godmother who gives you a card and £20 for your birthday. It really is one big happy dysfunctional family. I’m grateful for all of them, on and off camera.

Dressing The Part

These heads of departments, and Monique and Kelli, [they’re] unbelievable. They were so collaborative. We went through different hairstyles and different things we could do with the makeup. We added a bit of eyeliner for [Charles] just to make it feel more 80s. And then Kelli, I mean, it was like she did her research on me. She added badges to the jacket which kind of represented me as Jayden, before I even got there. It wasn’t until I got the haircut, put the makeup on, put the costume on, and I was like, Okay, this is Charles.

Cast Camaraderie.

The vibe was just incredible. Me and George, we really wanted to set the tone for the series and make sure that everyone’s having fun and it’s an environment where we could all talk about how we’re feeling. We were just such a big support blanket for each other. If there was ever a time that somebody needed space, or they wanted to prep themselves for a certain scene they were going to film, we all respected that and we were each other’s cheerleaders the whole entire time. And it’s still the same to this day now. I think it really shows when you watch the series that we all knew what we were making and we wanted to make something that we would want to watch, which we’ve all done. I cannot shout out my castmates enough. Forever grateful.

Acting Inspiration

I watched a lot of animation. I used to watch the Addams Family, the black-and-white one, because I didn’t have Disney Channel or anything. Monk, Murder She Wrote, I was watching those things, so maybe I was actually destined to play a detective, now that I’m thinking about it. I watched a lot of cartoons and animations. I just liked the idea that I could be engrossed in another world. And I always wanted to know what happened next, or when the film finished, I would be like, “Okay, but then what? What happens after that?” And now I get to be part of that question or that answer (...).

Dressing the Part

We have a fantastic costume designer, Kelli Dunsmore. I always say that she literally wove the story into the fabric of the clothes, because there are things that she foreshadowed in the clothing that happened episodes later. Or, if characters start to get in some sort of relationship with each other, that will be reflected in the clothes that they wear or the colors that they have. Or, if they’re feeling any type of emotion, (...)l. Crystal wears these massive platform boots that must be about four or five inches. They’re huge, very heavy, but it’s funny because they change the way that you walk. (...) She’s not very light, which makes sense with the things that she’s going through and the experiences that she’s having. Practically, it helped, because Jayden and George are like six-foot-something. So, if I film a scene and I’m at the bottom of the lens and they’re up there, that helped. I’ve got a good couple inches on my feet.

Acting Inspiration

Sandra Oh is a woman that I will forever be indebted to because who she was on Grey’s Anatomy was so formative for me. The most interesting thing about her character was not that she was Asian, but that she was such a fully fleshed person with flaws and amazing qualities. And her work ever since I think has been iconic, so she’s a woman that I deeply look up to.

Landing the role in Dead Boy Detectives

I auditioned from Hong Kong and my dad was my reader because all of my acting friends were in New York. My dad was able to carve out time and be an amazing reader. And in that audition side, it’s the scene where Niko gets to see the “Dead Boys” for the first time, and there’s a line in there that was something along the lines of me talking to Edwin and asking, “Do you two make out with each other?” And my dad stopped the tape and he was like, “What are you reading for?” And I was like, “Don’t give me notes, it’s fine!” And so that was the audition process! I think within a month I found out I got the part and it’s been an absolute dream ever since.

Dressing the Part

I think on paper Niko can seem like a certain type of character, but even in the choice of every costume we did, every color that she wears, every meticulous little piece about everything from her nails to her room, it’s so well curated and thought out. Through her journey, we also find that she’s a woman that wears what she feels. On the surface, she might seem like the most joyful, young, optimistic girl, but it’s the inner confidence and bravery where we find that she’s layered, and she is very much a young woman coming of age.

Okay so a lot of us make fun of Qui-Gon for giving Obi-Wan a stone for his birthday, and people seem split on it.

Some people think it shows true apathy towards him, and you know what? Fucking maybe. Sure. Whatever. The authors of those books smoked a lot of Qui-Child-Abandonment-Gon meth and you know what? Whatever.

But some of us like him to genuinely be a good master because guess fucking what else? I don’t care about him but Obi-Wan deserved a master who ADORED his sweet baby boy with all his codependent heart.

And you know what? We’re right too, because he eventually did get there.

Not what I’m here for I’m saying don’t fight me on this because both of us can be right.

But idk if this fact is canon or not but he told Obi-Wan that it was a force sensitive rock.

Why do people mock that aspect of it so much? So many of you say ‘lol nah he just gave the boy a rock’ no????? This entire series is built on force sensitive rocks??????

Kyber. Obvious.

Kyrat Dragon Pearls. They can literally be used as a kyber replacement in a lightsaber, they are THAT powerful.

In the Star Wars Visions episode Journey to the Dark Head, we see a temple of Jedi where seers are sent. They have a courtyard full of head sized round flat stones. When it rains, you pick them up, and certain ones will give you vivid visions of the future. The seers then read the vision out to a keeper who writes down each vision they can while it’s still raining. This happens on a sibling temple.

Star Wars Young Jedi Adventures: there was an episode where one of the main characters, Ky, goes into the forest with another child to finish a small mission. Obviously it’s a lesson in learning to work together, but the point is that they have to find a lantern that’s not glowing, and figure out what to do to get the lantern to glow again. None of these lanterns have a source of electricity, and they can’t be solar powered since they’re in a forest so dense that these lanterns are used regularly to keep the paths lit. As it turns out, they have a chunk of crystal inside, the side of one of their heads, and they both need to work together to make the crystal glow again. That was an obviously force sensitive crystal.

Same show, The Mystery of Opal Cave, in which the main characters stop pirates stealing a bunch of valuable opals from a planet. At the end of the episode, the natives show them what makes the Opal so valuable to them. They touch two opals together, it creates a ringing sound, and in turn, the previously dark cave lights up and all of them start to glow and sing. That was magic af don’t tell me real rocks do that they Do Not.

That fuckass rudesss cave on Mortis that gave everyone weird ass mean dreams and was full of giant crystals. Obviously they projected rudeass force visions meant solely to hurt me feewings.

There are probably a hundred more types I’m forgetting rn. Because. I’m literally just going off the cartoons and a bit of the video games. There are a LOT of force sensitive rocks, they do a lot of weird things.

Now. With that in mind. In an AU where Qui-Gon adored and doted on and loved Obi-Wan from the start (or even just what it likely was in canon, a thoughtful but maybe not adoring gift) he likely would have given Obi-Wan this force sensitive river rock without even realizing it’s abilities.

Let them keep that parent to child connection, I promise, it means a lot.

I'm not really a fan of the theory that Kim is just a figment of Eddie's imagination, but the clip of them on the boat is really interesting as data for this theory because...

Kim tells Eddie that she was an actress (a person who interprets fantasies, who interprets things that do not exist) on a TV show called "Failed System" (a failed system = a failed marriage).

She participated in 13 episodes, which was the total of the story, but only 7 were broadcast because the show was cancelled (We can assume that Chris is now 13 years old, and when Shannon died he was 7, meaning the show was cancelled. But it's also interesting to think about how effectively Kim is only in this story to "finish the show," meaning give it a shut down to Eddie regarding how he sees his relationship with Shannon and her relationship with Chris).

As I said, it's interesting because shows/movies usually leave these types of clues in situations where a character alludes to another person, so that later, when the truth is revealed, a montage can be made of all the situations that the character experienced with this hallucination and we can compare as spectators how impossible all of these coincidences were.

I don't really like this theory just because it would mean that Eddie is seriously ill (either psychologically or physically with, for example, a tumor), but it would also make sense that Eddie is at least imagining that Kim is so similar to Shannon and that in itself is worrying.

According to the actress who plays Kim and Shannon, she has a scene with Buck, so he will be in charge of revealing if Kim really exists, if Kim exists and does not look like Shannon, or if Kim is indeed the replica of Shannon. In any case, Buck is going to go crazy with worry and Eddie is going to have one of the worst time of his life.

So far, Buck’s plan is going off without a hitch.  It’s a lazy, weekend night, just the two of them at the Diaz house, Chris having gone out with friends to eat his weight in chicken wings and see the new Ghostbusters movie—the kind of teenage outing that’s becoming more and more common these days. Despite his aversion to LA’s Friday night crowds, Eddie had offered to take Buck out to the Peruvian place in Buck’s been wanting to try, but Buck had demurred. “Let’s just stay in,” he’d said. “I wanna try out that tajin chicken recipe Karen sent me last week, and we can finish the Michael Jordan series.” “Jesus,” Eddie replied, playing with the fingers of Buck’s left hand, smiling that sweet, smitten smile that Buck’s been the preening recipient of more times than he cant count in the past few months. “Are we officially old and boring like Chris says?” “Pretty sure we hit that milestone a while ago,” Buck replied, equally embarrassingly smitten. There’s no one he’d rather be old and boring with than Eddie. Now, after a recipe trial deemed a triumphant success and half an episode of The Last Dance, Buck’s got Eddie right where he wants him—on the couch, underneath him, while Buck sucks a messy hickey onto the side of his neck. They’ve both already lost their shirts, tossed unceremoniously behind the couch. “Maybe,” Eddie murmurs between deep, sloppy kisses, “we should think about moving this to the bedroom.” Buck hums in agreement, rolling his hips lazily in Eddie’s lap and cradling Eddie’s face between his hands as he sinks into another deep kiss. Eddie’s own hands are busy roaming over the bare expanse of Buck’s chest, over his shoulder blades, down his back. One hand ventures further, dipping under the elastic of Buck’s sweatpants to grab a handful of buttcheek and— Freezes there. Buck grins against Eddie’s jaw as Eddie goes completely taut and still on the couch.  “Buck,” Eddie breathes after a moment. “Are you wearing—?” Buck nips at Eddie’s slack mouth and says coyly, “Why don’t you see for yourself?”

What exactly is the issue that most of the crits have with Vaggie being a fallen angel? This is isn’t a diss on crits, I’m just confused

I think it's because most of them just don't like the idea. There's this whole thing going around where Viv apperently took that idea of Vaggie being a fallen angel from a fan theory she saw.

To me I think the twist could've worked but it's just very poorly executed. The biggest problem with the twist to me is how Vaggie being a fallen angel barely feels like it matters to her as a character. Vaggie being a soilder in the angel's army doesn't really feel like it affects her that much if at all, we don't get to know what being an exterminator is like, how the way she was raised affected her (assuming exorcists are heaven-borns as Adam implies in episode 6 when he says that he "names" them), or anything like that.

There just doesn't seem to be much of a developed backstory here, the reveal is pretty rushed. It doesn't really add anything to Vaggie as a character or change anything about her, removing it changes nothing about her character in the slightest. The only affect Vaggie being a fallen angel has is that it's there to create drama between Charlie and Vaggie that gets resolved in one episode.

That's pretty much it. I'm making a rewrite for Vaggie and I want to try and give her a more developed backstory, a women rasied in a military army, and I want to try and explore how that enviornment affected her, which would give her real depth beyond being "Charlie's girlfriend". So...stay tuned for that (when I eventually finish that rewrite lmao).

You felt amazing, you had a lot of energy, you was ready to do everything you wanted to do today, and the first thing was going to the store to get supplies for a project at school.

“Morning guys!” You said to your brothers, you then saw Cas, “Oh hey Cas!”

“Hello Y/n,” Castiel said, while Sam and Dean shared a knowing look.

“Y/n, Sweetheart, are you okay?” Dean asked you and you nodded your head.

“I’m great! Sam could we go to the store? I have a project I need to do and I need to get some supplies,” You explained.

“Now? You don’t want a coffee or some food first?” Sam asked.

“No I’m okay,” You said, and that confirmed it for the brothers, you was having one of your episodes.

And of course Cas being Cas, he was very confused by your new behaviour.

“Okay, we can go out,” Sam said.

“Great, C’mon!” You practically ran out of the room as you went to the Impala.

After a full morning of shopping, and you getting distracted by different things every two minutes, Sam had finally gotten you back home and you instantly went to your room to begin your project.

Around an hour later, Dean was sat in one of the chairs in the library while Sam left to check on you in your room, then suddenly Cas appeared.

“Dean, why do you look so worried?” The Angel asked, and Dean was about to speak when Sam walked back into the room.

“She’s crashed,” Is all Sam said, and now Cas was very confused.

“Who’s crashed? Is someone hurt? Do we need to go to a hospital?” Castiel questioned and Sam began to explain what he meant as Dean walked out of the library, towards your room.

You laid in your bed, your covers pulled up to your neck, and you stared at the unfinished project that sat on your desk.

“You okay, Sweetheart?” Dean’s voice came from the doorway and when you looked at him for a moment you saw him walking into your room.

As you shook your head you mumbled, “I can’t finish it,”

Dean laid next to you and you moved closer to him as he wrapped his arms around you in a comforting hold.

“You can finish it tomorrow,” Dean told you as he began to run his fingers through your hair.

Suddenly, Cas appeared in your room with a pizza box in hand.

“You said your favourite food is Pizza so I got you some,” He told you, but you just sighed and rolled over as tears flooded your eyes and you began to silently cry.

“Thanks Cas but Pizza isn’t something she needs right now,” You heard Dean say, then Cas walked out of the room.

“Why am I like this? Why can’t I be normal?” A sob slipped past your lips and Dean’s hand went to rub your back.

That was something Dean couldn’t answer, because him and Sam have been asking that first question for years as they thought endlessly about your mental state.

Why do you get like this? What is it caused by? Is it was them that causes it?

“Hey, what have I told you? Being normal is boring,” Dean told you, but it didn’t make you feel much better.

Now that Bridgerton has been released for over a week and I've had it on repeat since then it's time to process through some thoughts.

Overall this is my favorite season of Bridgerton. It's not surprising because Polin has always been my favorite pairing since season 1 and friends to lovers is one of my all time favorite romance tropes.

While I am loving the season there are still a few beefs I had while watching it that still irk me, but don't bother me as much as they did in the beginning which will be discussed at the end of the post.

Prepare for a long post and if you read it all thank you! Also SPOILERS ABOUND! Let's start with everything I have loved so far:

Mirrors. There are mirrors freaking everywhere in the season and we all know why. A lot of the side characters have mirrors in their scenes. We see Kate has a bunch of mirrors in her study, the Mondriches have mirrors. Mirrors everywhere to be found. Not only is a mirror going to play a major part in the second part, but it's so symbolic of Colin and Pen's journey of really finding themselves and subsequently each other. But Bridgerton is not subtle this season. There's mirrors everywhere you look.

Colin Bridgerton is a cinnamon roll and must be protected at all costs. My previous post already addressed a lot of the Colin hate floating around out there and I won't hear it. Our man is out there fully falling harder for Pen and not realizing how much he's affected by her. Until he does and then he's properly torturing himself.

The main characters this season are so relatable. Being a mid/plus size late bloomer female who has never received any romantic attention I relate to Penelope so much. I nearly cried in the second episode because I've had the same feelings she was having in that moment of believing you'll never have that in your life. At least she had Colin. But besides my personal connection to Pen compared to the previous two couples I think Colin and Pen are the most realistic and relatable characters.

The book references. I was a little nervous about changing the storyline to Colin having lessons with Penelope and helping her find a husband and Pen having another suitor, but I enjoyed it. It allowed them to bring a lot of humor to the show where we haven't really seen that in this show before. But they also incorporated very key aspects of the Polin relationship. The first kiss was nearly verbatim from the book and the very end of the carriage scene was also straight from the book just some dialogue switched characters. More on the carriage later.

Colin realizes he loves Pen much earlier than in the book. So glad for this change since we already knew Colin was the biggest dummy for not realizing what was right in front of his face. I'm glad we saw sparks of it from him before the first kiss. The garden confession? Please. It was practically a love confession as he was talking about all of the things he likes about her. The boy just couldn't put two and two together. And I'm really glad Pen tried to move on from her feelings it really put Colin into a place where he had to imagine his life without her and the man couldn't handle it.

Here are some beefs I have with the season but again they're pretty minimal and honestly I'm somewhat okay with it now except for one of them:

Lady Danbury not being involved with Polin whatsoever. They name their first born Agatha for heaven's sake. I really anticipated Lady D to be involved with Pen being a wallflower and practically just like her, but .... whatever. They gave Lady D other things to do this season instead.

Pen never asked Colin to help her find a husband. Okay this one still actually bothers me still. In episode 4 Penelope mentions to Colin when they're finished dancing that it was a mistake asking for his help and then in the carriage she says again that when she asked him for his help in finding a husband she didn't know he'd also deny her one (I told you guys I have watched this literally nonstop for a week). But she literally NEVER asked him to help her. In episode 1 he says, "if a husband is what you seek let me help you." At no point was she like "Please Colin will you help me?" I couldn't stand this. The only thing Pen asked of Colin was if he'd kiss her and I stand by this. That's sloppy continuity in the writing.

The brothels. Both scenes were completely unnecessary to me. The first one I've come around on slightly, but I will never get over the second brothel scene. I get what they were trying to do, but with the awkward flirting with all the ladies in the ton that was already accomplished for me that Colin was trying to act like someone he definitely wasn't. I didn't need to see Slut Colin for that. And I get it for the first brothel scene they made sure to hit that home, but the second one? The second one comes after he realizes he's fallen in love with Penelope and I don't fully understand his motivation for going there. I also am just sick of the rake storyline and since we know that's not how Colin is I was upset they tried to turn him into that. But characters must grow. To me it could've been done differently or even better yet not at all.

No flashback to baby Polin. I really was hoping for a flashback. There was a flashback episode for season 1 and 2 but none for 3. I really thought they would have done a flashback of some kind. At least Colin remembers and talks about how they met. "Do you remember when we first met?" Bro please. You don't need to ask Penelope if she remembers it's the moment she fell in love with you, bro. I'm hoping for a callback to this in the second part when she hopefully tells Colin she's loved him for years.

Last beef. That the carriage scene and love realization happened with no LW reveal. I get it. They're pushing this off to the second part. Makes sense for the drama of it all, but it fundamentally goes against season 1 Pen when she was trying to convince Marina to tell Colin that she was pregnant. Like hello. Now she's just doing what Marina did by keeping this from him. And I'm sure that's what part 2 will be about, but I don't like it. In the book he proposed to her fully knowing who she was and now in the show there's this huge chunk of who she is now missing and I DON'T LIKE IT!

I woke up to the bright lights of the medical room, my eyes slowly opening to adjust my vision. I felt my body ache like hell, as though I had been run over by a truck.

I also felt a sharp pain on my left side and on my chest. Fuck. It took me several seconds to realize I wasn't alone there. Looking over from the corner of my eye, I noticed someone was attaching my metal arm back again.

It was (Y/N). I took a sharp breath and inhaled loudly. She got caught up, not expecting to see me awake. "Oh- I'm so sorry, did I wake you?".

She didn't manage to finish attaching the piece as she waited for a response, and I shook my head. I could say I was glad I have finally gotten it back, but I was beyond pissed.

My mouth was dry, and I was feeling like shit. I tried to lift my torso and sit up, but she stopped me right away. I shot her a confused and annoyed glare.

"You're not supposed to be moving too much, Master" She said in a whisper. "Do you need anything? I- I can let the doctors know you're awake. Luke fell asleep on the couch".

Then I looked on my left side and saw my little boy all curled up, deep in his sleep. I sighed, he must have been really worried about me. Confused, too.

It was taking all of me to not call her out after what happened to me. But I wasn't going to do that, not in front of Luke.

"I want you to finish this-" I looked over my faux arm. "And I want you to be out". My voice came out hoarse from the lack of speaking and drinking water.

(Y/N) looked at me in complete shock, but nodded and didn't say another word.

As soon as she finished it - which didn't take her much, since she was professional at it - I watched as she stood up from her chair. (Y/N) kept her gaze on the floor the entire time, not even noticing when I gripped my metal fingers around her wrist tightly.

Her eyes shot up to where I was holding her, and she hesitantly looked at me. "This is-" I had to clear my throat as my voice wouldn't come out. "This is your fault, I hope you know it".

I let go of her, staring at her back as she made her way out of the room. I pinched the bridge of my nose and muttered under my breath.

Lukey was still out, and I didn't want to wake him up.

It took me two fucking days to actually get released from the medical bay as they wouldn't let me get out at all. My stab wound was barely healed, even though they made sure I would be able to be up and walk.

I spent almost the entire day with Luke, helping him with his homework, as well as playing with his toys or teaching him a few mechanic skills I learned back in Tatooine.

When I could finally do something rather than being completely useless, I headed to the office where we usually plan our missions. I walked past the door and Cal hurriedly came to meet me with a hug.

I groaned from the touch and he realized he pushed the boundaries. "I'm sorry, Master! Jesus, I forgot about it for a second there. I'm just glad you're up and good".

He started rambling, and I placed a hand on his shoulder, calming him down, "I appreciate it".

I smiled briefly before sitting down on the desk, releasing a low sigh. It's only been two days and I already missed being out there.

After discussing for a couple of hours, we were all dismissed for a gathering outside the Temple. I excused myself and made my way to the dining hall, where Luke should be having lunch with his few friends and C-3PO.

I felt my spine become rigid and my hand went cold as I saw him bonding with (Y/N), again. I couldn't help but roll my eyes in annoyance, trying to simmer down. I haven't forgotten I was pretty mad for what happened.

"Luke!" I called out in a rather loud tone and he looked my way. The boy waved at me and proceeded to get back at what he was doing with her.

She barely looked at me and I knew she was keeping her guard up when I was around. I walked toward them, watching as she managed to handle a T-16 skyhopper toy. It was probably his.

(Y/N) felt her heartbeat go off too fast, and she could hear her blood pumping through her veins. After what happened between them two days before, she couldn't even handle being near him again.

And the fact she was found making company for Luke made the situation even worse. She followed his steps as he approached them and sat next to the boy.

It was like he was never really calm. He was constantly angry or frowning at everyone and everything. The only moments he seems to be at peace is when he's with Luke.

"What did I tell you the other day?" Anakin mumbled, not even disguising how he glanced at her. His son pouted and apologized.

"He came to me, asking to help him with hi-" (Y/N) was about to explain but he cut her off.

"Didn't I make myself clear the other day? You have to stay close to 3PO" He pretty much sounded coarse, although he wasn't yelling.

"He said she's trustworthy, daddy. And she was helping me set up my toy" Luke kept his head down the whole time, not daring to look up at his father.

This is ridiculous, she thought. What? He thinks she's gonna literally lose it and kidnap him? Or just vanish with the kid without anyone noticing?

He huffed, still not giving two fucks if she was there or not. Anakin tried to look indifferent by the way his son was literally trusting a person he couldn't trust. Someone who was strange to them. Well, quite like it.

"I'm sorry, I have work to do" She gathered her things and rushed out of the table without even looking back.

Anakin took the toy from his son's little hands and gave it a look. "What's up with it?".

Luke sat on his lap and pointed to one of the wings. "One of the wings is hanging loose. I thought she could fix it, since she fixed your arm".

He sounded frustrated, especially because his father noticed how low the boy's voice came out. Anakin felt guilty about Luke and swallowed hard.

Maybe he could fix it himself. Or maybe he could ask some engineer or a Droid to do it.

He just didn't want to have to see her again.

He was definitely frustrated. He felt like he wasn't being a good father, like he wasn't able to actually educate his son and be there for him all the time. Even though he had time to rest his body and heal faster, Anakin felt worn out.

Obviously he noticed the way people looked at him, even his fellow Masters. It didn't matter to him to be honest, he already made himself clear that he didn't care about that.

His eyes were holding a shadow of sadness and frustration with himself; they weren't vibrant with the same determination he had before. The blue irises became cold and sad.

He was in the training room, practicing his movements with the newly fixed robotic arm. Anakin couldn't actually complain about the job they had done, because it seemed to work better than before.

The limb was polished, even. He swooned his lightsaber around the room, avoiding any abrupt movement to prevent any harm to his wounds.

It was a lot easier when Obi-Wan was around. He definitely had a good mood to practice, he was always supporting his apprentice. 

Sometimes, when it got too quiet, Anakin would hear his rough words shout out to his former Master.

"I hate you!" He had just lost the love of his life. "You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you".

"Were". "Loved". It felt like his heart got ripped out of his chest and stomped on.

After that, he promised he wouldn't trust anyone. Besides C-3PO and R2-D2, he knows he can barely trust the other Jedi he goes on missions with.

His mind goes way back. To the day his mother died. To the day Padmé died. To the day he felt betrayed by Obi-Wan. To the day Palpatine left him behind, beaten up and mourning for his losses.

It has been six years already. He should've gotten over it. He has Luke now. He has the Droids; and somewhat, he had Cal Kestis, who was a loyal Jedi and colleague.

His flesh knuckles were almost raw from the punches he was throwing at the punching bag. It was becoming hard to reach his relief that day. He let out a strangled groan as he threw his final jab, sending the bag flying.

Anakin fell to his knees, feeling defeated. He didn't want to cry out his sorrows, he told himself he was past that.

From the corner of his eyes, he felt like he was being watched. The shadow standing behind the closed doors was glancing at him with a knowing look.

The time the fan had determined they wanted to see you and Damian pair in the Mixed Match Challenge, you had been surprised. You are a face, while Damian is a heel, but you work so perfectly together.

You look as he pins your opponent, while you hold Charlotte back, to avoid her breaking the pin.

1... 2... 3! It's done. You are the first mixed team to advance to the final of that season of the challenge. You slid into the ring and the referee holds your hands in the air, while you take in both the cheers and boos of the fans attending that episode of Raw.

"Well done on keeping Charlotte out of the ring." Damian whispers to you as you both head backstage.

"That's my job and I'm pretty good at it." You reply as you high-five some fans on the way.

"So full of yourself." He huffs, shushing you to the back.

"Never as much as you are."

You tease him, following him until the interviewer stops both of you. She places herself between you both, a little behind, keeping the mic in front of you.

"I am here with Damian Priest and Yrn. Guys, you just advanced to the finals of this challenge. How do you feel about it?" She doesn't ask anyone in particular, but it's Damian who speaks first.

"We were put in a team together just by joke by the fans. Well... Here we are! Heading to the final match as the first team qualified! How many of you thought we could come so far into this challenge? Never underestimate us!" Damian looks always straight into the camera, moving around, his hands as well, while he speaks.

"We may have some bickering from time to time, but we work strangely good together. We won't stop here, so whoever is going to win the last semifinal, beware: we'll be the winners! You have no chance against us." You grin as you speak, looking from time to time to Damian, but you keep your focus on your part of the segment.

"Speaking of working well together..." The interviewer catches your attention once again and you both turn slightly to her. "Everyone sees the chemistry there is between you two each time you have a match together. It seems like you are perfect partners. Many are wondering if there is anything between you two."

"..." You are left astonished for a moment, not expecting such a question, but you are quick to answer. "Our relation is only workwise. There is nothing between us backstage or outside work." You laugh, playing it cool, while Damian follows you.

"Then how is it..." She can't finish her question, since you cut her off.

"Well, let us show you that there is actually nothing between us."

You feel slightly pissed off while you reach over to Damian, getting on your tiptoes - Damian being at 2 feet 5 inches be damned - to kiss him on the lips.

The kiss lasts not even one minute, the interviewer looks surprised, as much as Damian, but he smirks letting you lead that chaste kiss. Once you take some steps back, you avoid looking at Damian, looking at the camera instead.

"Our chemistry doesn't involve anything personal. Now, if you'll excuse us..."

You dismiss yourselves and go to your locker room, lightly touching your lips deep in your thoughts, raising an eyebrow as you feel Damian following you. You are questioning what you have just done, because instead of proving it meant nothing, deep inside your heart you feel it's not like that.

"You don't need to follow me, you know? The cameras aren't with us anymore." You try to act still cool, but you can't stop thinking about the kiss, wanting to feel those lips once more.

"You know we didn't need to prove that, especially not in that way, right?" He asks, grinning. "Kissing me like that, will make the fans talk about it, instead of have them thinking there is really nothing between us."

You blush a little, scratching your nape. "I... I acted on instinct. Thought we could persuade them somehow." You definitely hate yourself now, you definitely shouldn't have.

UMINEKO: ANGEMAMMON KISS

This piece was started after the second stream in the NezumiVA readthrough of Episode 4, and finished this Wednesday morning. The idea was to draw as beautiful a piece as possible of the two women, Ange and Mammon, kissing; then a doodle of the nonmagical series of events where Ange's just playing tongue hockey with the air. However, we all know that magic is real, so she's still got those impossible lipstick marks.

This one was tricky, since I'm used to darker pieces rather than this daytime lighting setup. I still think I did well! I made sure the pose was sufficiently magical with Mammon floating as if swimming in the air, with a windswept look to everything. I like to think it's a real tender and gentle kiss ya know? Also made their expressions were subtly different, Mammon being more confident and Ange portraying more desperation, leaning and sinking into it. And of course I had to do the foot pop: who do you think I am?

The alt colours were made with help from our very own Arahabaki Gaming, who looked at the alts from Golden Fantasia and told me what colour their shoes were. I zhuzzhed it up a little further by swapping their hair colours.

So so soooo excited for this Friday! Even if you're looking at this not knowing wtf's going on I recommend tuning in to the stream, where Nezumi will be wrapping up Episode 4. It's like when you watch Jotaro Vs DIO before anything else JoJo and then go back and watch it all through from part 1 onwards. Obvi if you don't want spoilers I understand though.
