I love how the characters of Sanders Sides have evolved over the years.

I mean, I know the whole series started as just a silly thing Thomas did using his characters from vine, but that makes it better.

He didn’t plan for the series to take off like it did, and because it did, we now have the boys we know and love today. And I think that’s really fucking cool.

Like we could’ve never gotten Janus, or Remus, or hell, even Virgil and that’s WILD to think about. Because the show took off, we have the Sanders Sides and see it in a totally different viewpoint then we did 7 years ago.

Not to mention how the characters gradually gained depth the more the series progressed, and I’m loving that actually. It may have started as nothing serious, but it also did great on the pacing of the show in general, ykwim?

Anyways, my tangent is over, I just wanted to say how much I love how far the series has come, and I’m proud of Thomas and his crew for making such lovable and beautiful characters that we now know as Thomas’ Sides.

Thank you Thomas, and your crew, for your work. You’ve inspired many, including me, the past 7 years, and hopefully you’ll continue to do so in the future!

Hi! I’m Bo. I’ve loved a youtube series called “Sander Sides” made by youtube creator, known for his vines, named Thomas Sanders @thatsthat24 . I’ve loved it personally since I was around ten and wanted to do something inspired off of it but couldn’t. Now that I’m older, (I am 16!!) I have decided to write my own! Using original characters I’ve created over the years to help show difference aspects of my one personality. They are based around Thomas’s in a way but specifically for me so instead of Logic (Logan) I have Knowledge (Ember), Patton (Morality) mine is Arthur (Morality), Roman (Creativity), mine is Harley (Creativity) and last but not least, Anxiety (Virgil) We’ve got Anxiety, who’s named has yet to be revealed yet. My season one is not done but I might still upload the episodes I have now if I can’t find a way to put them all together. I have made a introduction which I will upload soon.

To Thomas: A Friendly Reminder

Hello there, Sanders.

I highly doubt you'll ever actually see this, but it needs to be said.

We, the entire fandom of Fanders, love you. I'm not talking about loving you for your work. We love you for you.

Life can be a b*tch, and sometimes Karma is negligent. Things go wrong. You make mistakes. Sometimes you hurt loved ones, unintentionally or otherwise. And you know what? That's okay. It happens. It sucks major d*ck, but it's okay.

I don't know what you've been through. All I know, like many of us Fanders, is whatever you make public. I've seen one of your most recent YT Shorts, the one that starts off saying "if you told me..." The one where you tell us a little tiny bit about the things you've gone through this year. I don't know you personally, of course. I'm literally just another random fan on the Internet. Literally I don't even expect you to ever see this at all.

But I need to say it, so you don't forget: we love you for you.

Do we love your work? Yeah, no duh we do. We love Sanders Sides and Cartoon Therapy. We love learning from your content. We love your jokes and little reels and the Vines you've done.

But we don't love you because of what you produce/create. We don't love you because of what you give. We love you because of who you are. You are Thomas freaking Sanders, and absolutely no one else could be you. Because you're you. We love you for you.

You are many things: compassionate, empathetic, sensitive, caring, loving, insightful, intelligent, kind, curious, and such a kind-hearted soul. You are creative and so wonderfully inclusive and open-minded.

You know who you are? You're a safe space. An educator. An inspiration. A literal life-saver because you're you.

You've helped me, and so many others, love themselves again. Learn how to help themselves, or that it's okay to get help. That our thoughts- including you, yes- don't make us bad people. You taught us that morals are messy and grey. That people are flawed and imperfect, and how wonderfully beautiful it is to be human. That being selfish? It's okay. It isn't necessarily a dirty word. That our mental health and well-being should come before anything else, or else it'll blow up in our face. Or else it could lead to the plane crashing down, as Janus would say.

So yes, I may not know whatever you've got going on in that head of yours, Thomas. But I do know that we love YOU, not for what you produce, but because it's you.

Please remember this. Know this whenever life decides to f*ck you up.

We love you. Your friends and family love you. You're worth it, Thomas. Not just as a creator, but moreso as a person.

I'm sure many of my fellow Fanders can agree on this.

Ok I was intending to do a little recap of my thoughts but I get easily distracted, basically all I can think about is:

Thomas is really good at making theories and I shouldn't be so surprised but I am.

The theory about the goat and the elf intertwining as employee of the month, he said he thinks both elf and goat are the same person goat just transforms, I love that.

He notices the ribons too, I'm not taking My eyes off that .

He joked about the Youngblood and Roman ship and thinks that Youngman is a fun ship name afaffsfaafa but realistically it's really hard for it to be canon because youngblood is Terrance character and this story is more about the adventure and only terrance can decide what to do with youngblood, he also is VERY aware of the parallels with Virgil and Roman sanders but says it isn't his fault! Terrance choose those things for his character.

He also says it's possible for other characters to appear, of any of his series/vine/tiktoks, but doesn't know who they could be because he isn't the DM.

Also the music video they are working on is inspired by sanders sides!!!!!

Laurens singing to Hamilton to sleep during a night storm

Them slow dancing in their tent, Alex being the one with his arms around Laurens's neck (cause he's short- )

Hamilton standing on top of Laurens's toes each time they steal a kiss

Not sure if this is considered a headcanon or a trope, but basically, Laurens being a protective boyfriend (my all time favorite- )
