I think modern au Zhu SHOULD be the lesbian best friend trope to Ouyang except that its because this man is her pet project and gODDDAMIT she's gonna FIX him she's gonna MAKE him be BETTER she's going to SOLVE EVERYTHING and he will RESPECT HER (she is actively making him worse). She has a whole complex about it and everything. She has based a part of her identity on dragging this man up from his toxic funk and is fully convinced that if she tries hard enough he will eventually come to his senses and be an equal participant in this relationship. They have a terrible wonderful toxic loving codependent relationship that's neither a romance nor a friendship nor a rivalry but a secret fourth thing.
Predictably, this does not go well. The character arcs would be Zhu learning she can't fix a sinking ship and letting Ouyang fail by himself, and Ouyang learning to not be a shit person, actually, and coming out of his bubble of self-centeredness and working on himself instead of unloading his emotional labor onto the people around him. And they should both get to develop a healthier relationship with each other than what they had in canon bc queer solidarity is great and its even better when it's in the shape of some weird bullshit some gay people built out of the corpse parts of heteronormative romance (affectionate and completely unironic)

what does Minnie's cutie mark mean?
its based off an incident that occurred before she immigrated to ricks dimension and planet. She is originally from a royal/noble family in a fantasy type dimension (picture like the underworld but with more infrastructure), and she was assassinated but brought back to life by necromancy magic which she then inherited the ability to use.
So basically its just Horse Skull = Necromancy
thank you for the question! minnie's been my oc for like a decade so i dont always remember the things i've shared abt her.
(i sort of went off in the tags but i dont want to copy n paste it all up here so just make sure to read the tags for more info on her powers. I prommy im working on a minnie info post! 😭)

Had an issue with a coworker today (the 50 year old who loves to whine. Also the same person who was so upset about that 16 year old being dumb but that's a whole other story) that I actually ended up having to get management involved with. Which I hate doing, I prefer to solve my problems mano a mano or whatever they say. Like I prefer to deal with it between me and them rather than going to authority figures, especially in a work environment. But after a while I decided that a lot of her behavior towards me was straight up harassment so I did do it. Anyway, that's not the point. The point is that after quite a lot of back and forth about what happened and what was wrong with it I finally came to a realization that I think applies to my Tumblr blog too.
The fact that I have strong opinions is not an open invitation to argue with me about them.
Like, you do not have the right to be an asshole to me just because I feel comfortable saying, "The radio has too many ads and repeats too many songs too often and as a result it is very unpleasant to listen to," which was the opinion that pushed everything to a head. Like you're free to disagree, but you don't get to tell me to shut the fuck up over that, or to threaten me.
There were other issues at play but when I said that out loud finally I had an epiphany about the last several people I ended up having to block on here. They were all issues of me having some opinion and someone else just being. Outrageously dedicated to changing my mind. To an inappropriate extent.
