One day Camille was given the chance to learn to become a Time traveller, and she got assigned a very, very unlikeable tutor, Renelle

Camille is sweet, energetic, naive, arrogant, determined, hopeful

Renelle is cold, calm, collected, direct, arrogant, straightforward, probably sadistic

Camille likes cute things, but tries hard to look cool and grown up

Renelle wears cute stuff openly, but will switch to cooler wear if possible

Doofenshmirtz is kind of proof that you can, in fact, make one of the funniest characters out there by throwing shit at the wall.

He’s a supervillain, he’s amicably divorced, he was raised by ocelots, his evil ambitions only stretch as far as taking over the tri-state area, he’s in a romantically-coded/joked about rivalry with a sentient platypus, he’s a good dad, he once lost a fight with a potted plant, he was forced to be a lawn gnome. But most importantly, he never gives up.

I just wanted to say I am super intrigued about your time travelers (Renelle and Camille). Do you have some ramble to offer about them?

I really should post more about them and the other travellers they’re just on the asleep side of my brain

Renelle and Camille are such a cool duo to me- cold and indifferent versus energetic and curios, so dead and so full of life-

Camille just wants to become a cool time traveler and do her job to make history happen, she wants to jump in every mission, discover new time periods, and become the force of nature that gets written down in history books, but she’s stuck with this unbothered teacher who won’t really teach much and just wants to get things over with. She grows more suspicious of Renelle, because she’s so reserved about herself, doesn’t explain things unless it’s strictly necessary, and somehow she always seems to know what’s gonna happen next, which pisses Camille off

Renelle isn’t really an obstacle to Camille, she just feels stuck with her on the ride. She also wants to take every mission available, but for different reasons

Renelle’s stuck in a timeloop, like all other time travellers, she’s forced to tutor the younger version of herself to become the time traveller she’s destined to become

Renelle’s real name is Camille, she changed name as a… company standard? Older travellers hide their true identities from their younger selves to avoid blowing their minds too soon, wearing contacts, changing names, hiding their history as much as they see fit

Renelle doesnt care at all about how soon Camille finds out, she will anyway, like young Renelle did when she got tutored (oooooo time loops)

All time travellers have some form of heterocromia (different eye colors), a VERY indicative trait that would reveal Renelle’s identity to Camille immediately, and all she does to cover it up is having long bangs

All Renelle wants is out, out of her time prison and destiny set in stone, a workaholic desperate to find her way to freedom, and will take any chance she gets to work every mission and study time travel from the inside out

First get fabulously wealthy, Back To The Future Style

Create and sell a line of shampoos, lotions, and other similar products whose gimmick is specifically that every bottle has an entire sci-fi short story included on the label in very small print for people to read when they're stuck in the bathroom and bored (again: pre-cellphone. There was a lot of shampoo-bottle-reading)

Several short stories would include ridiculously outlandish little details-- the Tesla tunnel death trap, the Trump presidency, remote learning during the lockdown-- that are just written off as sci-fi silliness.

Time marches on. There's now a subreddit about people who collect vintage bottles from that one weird short story shampoo brand, who swear up and down that it's telling the future
