aight. we're gonna get into some heated stuff. i recently came across someone who reclaimed the term "transtrender" and identified as a "trendergender". this got me thinking about non dysphorics and "trenders" in general (i hate to use the term, sorry)
transgender- denoting or relating to a person whose sense of personal identity and gender does not correspond with their birth sex.
gender dysphoria- a term that describes a sense of unease that a person may have because of a mismatch between their biological sex and their gender identity.
so what's the difference? transgender people do not feel their gender identity matches their biological sex. dysphoria is the discomfort with your biological sex.
here is a screenshot forwarded by a friend who said they were venting about their dysphoria in a vent channel in a trans safe space on discord.
(id: discord message showing the text: Geeze, we get it, you have "dysphoria" but you don't have [to] keep rubbing in our faces. You need to recognize how many of us non-dysphorics would give anything to be in your place and not have to fight to even be seen as trans.)
oh, jesus. you would give anything to be in said place? you would give anything to have to never feel right in your own body? you would give anything to look in the mirror and want to rip your own skin off because of how much you hate your body? just because you want to be seen as "trans."
let's face it. no trans person wants to be seen as trans. we want to be seen as the gender we identify as.
the very concept of "non-dysphorics" seems like a slap in the face to many trans people who spent years in anguish only to learn that they only way to end the anxiety involved a long road of transition.
how insulting is for someone to say they are transgender because they’re making a “statement about gender” when so many other trans people struggle just to make their day to day life feel like it’s worth living.
i'll say it straight up. no sugarcoating.
you are not trans.
fight me. you're not trans, you are using the term as a cute little badge to display on yourself because you want the attention.
we as trans people have to fucking fight our whole lives to get people to do something as simple as respect our preferred pronouns.
so don't come to me and label yourself as transgender just because you want to be quirky and unique- xoxo, cloudy <3

flags by me, based off of the voidpunk flag. i wanted to make flags specifically for those who identify with these subcultures, outside of just the aesthetics themselves. lmk if any of the definitions need to be changed. see also: trendergender, trendercoric, trenderpunkic.

a subset of choice gender that is specific to xenogenders. someone whois choice xenic can choose some or all of their xenogenders, and probably hoards them.
choice xenic's may or may not also identify with choicepunk, tumblrgender, trendergender, xenopunk etc;
Men (cis and trans), women (cis and trans), non-binary people, agender people, whatever you can think of really.
Drag isn't restricted to just one group. It's an art form that's meant to challenge society's perception of gender roles and the expectations of how men and women are supposed to act within society.
Drag was made to challenge gender.
Only allowing certain genders/sexes to participate in drag is both ironic and dumb.
