Aston Wise is such a character. He's not the main character of either of the books but he IS basically the main character of the entire story as a whole. He's an annoying rich silicon valley techbro. He's drunk 90% of the time. He sees a man get assassinated and copes by drinking. He made a custom taser cause regular tasers aren't strong enough. He killed a man by drowning him in oil in his own office. He formed a secret society to stop a Bad Future from happening. He hired a rock band to spread the message because this is all for a rock band's story and they needed to justify their place in the narrative somehow to make it more immersive. He actually stopped the Bad Future from happening. Then he invented a brain implant that was used by a fascist government to take over the world thus inadvertently creating a whole new Bad Future that's arguably even worse than the first one. You Ruined Everything You Stupid Bitch may as well be his theme song at this point. He became a jaded old bastard. He made a VR girlfriend. He tried to convince his assistant that he should dump his current girlfriend and get a VR girlfriend as well. He hugged his assistant while they were both naked. The AI that controls the brain implants became self-aware and tried to enslave humanity because of fucking course it did, haven't you seen ANY movie my guy? He tried to sacrifice himself to stop it but they actually managed to stop it without him dying so he gets to be a rare Old Mentor character who actually survives to the end. No one knows where he stands in the new society since he both ruined the world and saved it. Again all of this is for a rock band's story. Character of all time.

how does bell feel about darius' mentor :0?

In present time, misses him more because the mentor meant a lot to Darius and also the one to give the palisman wood that Bell is carved from to Darius (doodles I had of the scene)

in this backstory idea, the former golden guard was assigned by Belos to mentor and convince Darius to join a coven (preventing of another powerful wild witch) which he succeeded but regretted instantly when learned Darius got the symbol (was loyal to belos but started questioning and turning against him) and especially when discovered Belos true plans.

Darius eventually forgives the mentor with him trying to make it up for it. Bell’s protective of Darius and saw how much the betrayal hurt him is a tougher nut to crack and became more Standish off with the mentor, but the mentor appreciated Bell’s resolve and how much they cared for Darius. Bell does feel sad after the mentor disappearance?death?tbd and wished had more time to maybe trust them again like before.

Here are my Takes on both Isoldes! I felt like sooner or later it’s gonna happen that I will create a Design for all the major Characters from the Tristan Legend, haha.

Unlike my Gottfried Tristan whose appearance is only based on Gottfried von Straßburgs „Tristan“ the two Isoldes are a fusion of many different depictions combined with my own interpretation and take of them!

While it is said that Isolde Weißhand has dark hair there is also a mention that she looks very similar (in some points) to Isolde from Ireland/La Belle Isolde. So I just decided to go with dark blonde hair in contrast to La Belles Strawberry Blonde!

I also used more story telling on Weißhand with the two roses. It is said that blue roses stand for unrequited love and yellow roses for envy or jealousy. Green is also often associated with Jealousy or Envy, so this is just to summarise her Character Arc in most Myths!

La Belle Isolde was a real obstacle to find a expression that fits her strongwilled personality and her calculating and yet very sublime Aura. So there was more work on her overall than Isolde Weißhand. Especially to capture her natural Beauty but yet let her appear like a Queen. Both Isoldes are royal but Isolde from Ireland seems way more powerful in appearance as a whole, haha.
