Dunno if this has been discussed but I'm a sucker for characters one-shotting themselves by imagining their crush in wedding attire. Jade? Oh, he'd be hopeless.

Soft and fluffy scenarios? That's his usual state of mind, no issue.

Spicy and smutty daydreams? Light work, no reaction

But passing by a boutique in town, glimpsing a beautiful white dress or handsome dark-navy suit, and imagining his beloved wearing it? He's blushing a bright pink and fidgeting to the point where Azul has to remind him why they are in town in the first place

I think that while it's cute to imagine Jade daydreaming in front of a boutique, you'd be hard pressed to find Jade in such a state! He keeps up appearances very strictly, so more likely he's going to look at the clothing on display for a bit and then go on with his business.

Oh, but the thought of you all dressed up as you two faced each other at the altar, a sweet smile on your face as you looked up at him and said "I do" was just a dream! He wonders if you would go with the white dress or the dark suit. Or perhaps you have different wedding customs back home? He's heard that some human cultures have vastly different marriage ceremonies and dress. Oh, but he'd also love to have a wedding under the sea! He'd find you the finest pearls to adorn your neck, coral delicately wrapped around your wrists, and just the thought of you with a gorgeous tail?

Not to mention the delightful wedding night you two would share...

kinda think one of the ways that jeremy punishes himself is downplaying his accomplishments.

when jeremy talks about rehab he makes it clear that it wasn't his choice, but while he may not have chosen to go, but he chose to take it seriously and get clean. jeremy doesn't go to therapy as often as he tells his mom he does, and he does have avoidant tendencies, but it clearly has helped him. cat says a therapist worked wonders, jeremy mentions going over standing up for himself to his parents with his therapist, and he also references something his therapist said about noah to jean that clearly helped jeremy. despite having a rocky start with the trojans, and literally getting clean while playing, they clearly trust him and believe in him as a captain. he is able to lead them very assertively and with little pushback from them. the trojans are also a team that has ranked top 3 before and during his time there. he is said to be basically guaranteed to be signed when he graduates and even to make court. he also puts in so much effort to help and care for jean, not just because of his feelings toward him, but because he feels a responsibility to help others after noah and is just a good friend and trojan. hell, he might even be valedictorian. i'm proud of you jeremy knox.

I know the “is Edward Little a sopping wet cat or a competent officer” discourse simply goes in circles but I personally feel like a major appeal of wet cat Ned is that Edward IS a competent officer who wants to do well in his role for his captain and his men, but through a series of events and circumstances he has become a kicked dog of a man. The oldest Ninjago Fanfic that I can find is dated December 4th, 2011. This was almost a year after the pilots initially aired and two days after Rise of the Snakes/Home aired.

As you cannot backdate works on fanfiction.net, the date published is the final date. And if no other fic had been there pre-mass deletion of fics in 2012/deleted any time before this moment, this is the first recorded fanfic in the fandom! (At least on ffn.)

The Fanfic in question is Tale of Cole: First of a LEGO Ninjago Trilogy by user TLFScarheart12.

Cole tells Kai about his early training and what he learned after facing a Kaiden.

This is the first of three fanfics in a series, as the title suggests. The other two are about Zane and Jay. (The Jay one even has a mention of an oni in the description!) I took the time to sit down and read this first one, and it is a nice little read!

Cole tells Kai a story about how he was convinced to actually try to be a team with Zane and Jay.

It sort of places Cole in a similar place to where Kai was in the pilots. He's trying to be the best, and in turn, he doesn't accept Zane and Jay's teamwork. SPOILERS: They end up saving him from the kaiden and he eventually learns the importance of teamwork.

For a fic that came out two days after the actual show aired, it works super well, I'd say!! It's a fun little read and a neat tidbit of our fandom's history!! It's also this author's first fanfic on their account, which consists of mostly Ninjago based works!!

For what it's worth, I think Campaign 3 suffers when compared to, to put it bluntly, pretty much anything else Critical Role has ever put out, as well as most actual play that I've watched/listened to. But I think it uniquely suffers when juxtaposed with a narrative that says "if you do not make rapid decisions you and others around you will die; if you spend too much time whining about how it's unfair that you are called to make these decisions, including ones that might challenge you, you and others around you will die; and if you do not above all prioritize community and deal with threats to that community - and expand your understanding of community to be a very broad one - you will be destroyed." It was jarring and hypocritical to watch Campaign 3's defenders who had been calling for the gods to be slaughtered for much of the campaign suddenly spin around and praise Bells Hells for finding [having handed to them] the nonviolent option because that's actually always the best one, don't you know; and I think EXU Divergence challenges not just that ideal but the concept that there's a universal solution. Sometimes the right thing is to hide; sometimes it's necessary to commit violence to prevent further violence. Sometimes the right thing is to secretly eat some of the cheese yourself to prevent you from dying; sometimes it's to be on the lookout for someone trying to take more of their share in a resource-limited community and to stop them. Sometimes the right thing is to carry others; sometimes it's to give them to someone stronger and more able. And above all, many of these choices will be extremely unfair and difficult and put you at risk, and you do still have to make them, and soon.

what i think about zeref: wow he sure is a fascinating character to analyze. the tragedy of him; the way he doomed himself completely. the way he shaped the entire history of the FT universe by his mere existence. the way he loved natsu so fiercely that it set in motion a chain of events spanning 400 years. the way his curse is genuinely one of the most compelling plot devices in the series. the dichotomy of zeref and mavis; the way mavis is his perfect foil in a way that makes their dynamic so thematically interesting.
