So she overhears smth about a anonymous singing contest and the winner will get $5000 which for mc, Yuu and Grimm that's a lot of money. And 2nd and 3rd also has cash prizes. I think she goes for 2nd place ,so she has the money of 1st without the popularity of 1st. So she puts her fears to the side (🤨no she doesn't) to help her friend and cat.

I see this contest being an online voting type thing. Also celebs 😉 do go on the show to help promote it, to judge them and what ever else they do.

In the show they give the contestants a "wish"/ charm that can help them with their performance (enter ✨shimmers✨ & instruments magic that was talked about). It what makes the show popular

Now we give MC song/writing abilities. She honestly has a diary of kind. She needs it.( Torture her bout it later😈)

Now I'm sure we wondering how does this come into play

and they’re crouched behind a rock for a few minutes and vil is annoyed because rook is doing rook things again and he does not have time for this. especially not today because he has to find someone to endorse for the music show he volunteered to judge.

only problem: EVERYONE SUCKS OR HAS AN UGLY PERSONALITY!! vil is disgusted by the cockiness and the greediness of these… influencers who paid their way to be on the show.

it puts a horrible taste in his mouth, especially with how shameless they are to try and win his favor. he’s not some cheap executive they can bribe to put their foot through the door, especially with their lack luster… abilities.

vil almost called it talent, but you had to be good to have that.

just as he’s about to voice his complaints and leave, rook’s grip on his shoulder stopped him from moving and the finger to his lips stopped him from breathing. vil was visibly shocked because rook never put hands on him, especially like this.

there was a snap of a twig up ahead. rook’s forest green eyes flicked to the horizon a few times, head too, urging him to look.

and he’s more than pleasantly surprised to see… you- well as much of yourself that you would allow the watchful eyes of the trees see. your ceremonial robe covering your short stature.

rook looked at vil expectingly, but vil was still confused, so what if a student was in the woods? unless it was his own this was a problem rook should bring up to the other house wardens. and it wasn’t illegal, nor against the school rules so-

then, you started singing.

he couldn’t recognize the song. but he could recognize the passion. yes you were untrained and flat in a few sections but that didn’t matter. you were good, pitchy but good.

song after song, sometimes repeating a few as you danced and bowed your heart away.

he wasn’t sure how much time passed but it was a considerable amount since the sun that once well over the trees now peeked through the canopy and was gazing longingly at the moon.

cursing, you looked around, bent down to collect the things you brought with you, and scurried away towards another entrance towards the forest.

vil was quick to react, to follow but rook stopped him. looking down at his vice house warden with an incredulous look, rook only shook his head softly. there was a reason you were alone in the woods and not in the various music clubs.

vil who WAITS for your submission so he can back you but you never submit… hm,

with a snap of his manicured fingers, rook is on it! maybe rook knows who you are, maybe he doesn’t, vil could really care less since the whole show is based off of anonymity.

(vil side eyes the influencers and other contestants who practically spell it out for the audience who they are so they can vote for them)

maybe to… put you on the right track vil has rook go to your little forest spot and place a flyer there, practically ENCOURAGING YOU TO SIGN. UP.

While looking up stuff about the muses and their part in Greek mythology for Omar and had so much fun learning about them.

The Muses are often referred as water nymphs. They're associated with water a lot because they were born from the springs of Helicon at Pieria by Pegasus when he stepped on the ground. Maybe I would do a mermaid! AU for Omar and he could be childhood friends with the octavinelle trio

The consort for the Muses was Apollo (god of sun, music and arts, etc.) Basically Apollo's entourage and romantic partners, and if you know anything about Apollo he had MANY lovers. Even had a few kids with them like Orpheus, Linus, Hymenaeus, and the Corybantes. There's too many and some may not even be Apollo's kids.

Challenging a greek god will result in you dying, turning into something, or some kind of torture. The Muses were no different. A singer known as Thamyris boasted that he was a better singer than them and challenged them to a contest. After losing, Thamyris was maimed resulting in blindness in addition of taking his singing voice and ability to play music. A king named Pierus had beautiful and talented daughters who he bet could be a match for the Muses. They lost and were turned in either jays or magpies as a punishment. There was also the Sirens vs Muses which was encouraged by Hera (goddess of gods). When they lost the Muses plucked their feathers to make them into crowns, turned white, and fell into the oceans to die. The lesson is simple: don't claim you're better than a Greek god.

There are generations of Muses. The orignal muses were the Boeitian Muses had Mneme (memory), Melete (meditation), and Aoede (song). The main 9 Olympian Muses are Calliope, Clio, Erato, Euterpe, Melbourne, Polyhymnia, Terpsichore, Thalia, and Urania. One source says that the daughter of Aphrodite and Ares, Harmonia, gave birth to daughters who were the next Muses but it is a rare theory.

So my twst oc is based off the caterpillar from Alice In Wonderland

About the same height as Riddle (in the movie the caterpillar gets upset with Alice when she calls being 3 inches tall “the worst height to be” as he himself is exactly 3 inches tall)

Since I feel like it’d be weird if he’d somehow managed to get a cigarette in school he instead has these “chewables” that make his breath change color (where does he get them? Idfk, probably from Azul now that I think about it???)

Currently side effects of taking these that I’ve come up with are:

Feeling light headed/dizzy and slight hallucinations (if you receive it thru second hand smoking all you get is the dizziness for a couple of seconds)

The hallucinations he gets take form in these little like pixies? I’ve been considering connecting them to a backstory for him but I’m worried that I might go a bit too far off the character he’s twisted from-

If he were to stop taking the “chewables” then he’d probably be in a pretty sour mood-

As the pixies he relies on for entertainment (watching them go around and try and mess with things) are gone and the world would probably feel too “sharp” as hes seeing everything much more clearly due to not feeling light headed

This is technically his second beta as the original thought for him was much more comic relief like lol

Which is why I’m now going to share some of the scenarios I imagined back then

So I’m the beta, beta like I said he was much more of a “comic relief” (since he’s basically high all the time) so I imagined that Trey would like be trying to give him directions on what to do( as he’s just spacing out) and then he would just randomly say something like “yeah. i agree, pasta should be blue.” And Trey would be like

Ok so I have a question. I want to know what everyone’s headcanon is regarding how Leona got his scar because I think about this A LOT. I'm almost caught up to the Eng version but chapters 6 and 7 haven't come out in English yet so if there was a scar backstory reveal, I never knew.

I read one fic where Leona had gotten his scar due to a servant throwing a glass at his face (forgot the name of the fic but if I find it I will share. It was very good). I think there was another one where Leona had gotten it in a failed assassination attempt I think?

I know that Leona was inspired after Scar and is not Scar exactly but I have to wonder if he got his scar the same way Scar got his or maybe even the way Kovu got his scar.

In case you didn't know, Scar or Askari (his real name) got his scar due to being bitten by a snake. The venom messed him up and began to corrupt his mind, only making the jealousy he felt toward Mufasa grow.

In the Live Action Lion King, it is hinted that Scar got his scar from a fight with Mufasa and Mufasa had given it to him.

Kovu (in case you didn't know he isn't related to Scar by blood but he was picked to be his successor) got his scar from his mother. His mother in a fit of rage gave it to him after blaming his brother’s death on him.

A lot to take in and A LOT of lore but I'm the type of person who loves deep lore LOL

But what are your thoughts on how Leona got his scar? I would love to hear about them!

another twst post because malleus & mc's friendship is killing me

so Malleus actively seeks out MC to talk with them, he initiates spending time together (which y'know is very odd for him) from walks to library 'dates' to him just turning up at their dorm to more, he says that they tell him stories and he values their opinions and wants to hear more of them

so this implies two things, both of which are driving me crazy:

1.) MC talks with Malleus "off camera" more than every time we've seen MC speak at all during the game, put together

2.) Malleus is known to info dump for hours on end. The fact that he actively and continously seeks MC out to know their opinion on things means that, not only do they pay attention and listen when he's talking about the things he's interested in but they also engage in conversation about it AND they do all this in a way that encourages him to keep meeting up with them and talking even without them first extending an invitation/with him inviting them to things/inviting himself over

ik it may seem like a low bar to some, but having someone who intently listens to you for hours, remembers your special interests/hyper-fixations (specially over multiple meetings) and then participates in conversation about them is, in my opinion, the greatest love language & one of the highest forms of love (either romantic or platonic)
