IRL, my sister and I look pretty alike! But I guess it depends on each person. Some people think we don’t look alike at all while others think we look like twins :O! Our height doesn’t really differ either. I tried to incorporate some of Sippy’s qualities (physical appearance vibes) but my sister and I have completely different aesthetics qwq

Piggybacking from the first point, my sister is a coquette girl. She literally looks like a pinterest girl- like Sabrina Carpenter vibes. If I were to describe her properly, I’d say she’s Princess Aurora but as a brunette!

My sister, we’ll call her Allim, has really long eyelashes (especially the bottom ones like gah dayum) so I made sure to add that in the piece!

She really likes pink and ruffles, so I added those as well! I want her to look pretty and cute without leaning towards Epel’s look, so I made her look kind of like a business woman…coquette style.

Fun fact: her ear rings is what she wears daily irl! It’s a gift from her friend💖

She’s not in the TWST fandom, but I let her read an analysis of each dorm-sorting-requirements and let her choose which one she’d be most fitting in. I guess it would be Pomefiore because istfg her face card never declines but chile anyways-

Imagine how surprised I was when she said, “I think I’ll be in Savannaclaw☺️” and I’m like WHAT-

Cuz imagine a coquette girl in a place like SAVANNACLAW NJDHDSUHFSUBVOSII THE THOUGHT OF IT IS SO FUNNY TO ME😭 Just a brunette Aurora walking in with bulky beastmen running laps around the dorm n shit. But I do believe that she fits that dorm. Just…not aesthetically💀 She was in the R.O.T.C once so I think she’d do pretty well knowing the dorm.

I initially wanted to draw her with the dorm uniform but BY GOD IT IS NOT COQUETTE GIRL FRIENDLY. I’ll draw that one day once I figured out the design </3

She’s really good at cooking and has a main business; she sells cookies! Her slogan is “Cookie 20 Brownie 25” in Thai. That’s why she says it in the second panel of this post! Her cookies sell out within 3 days at MAX. She has an online shop in shoppee but only sells within the country at the moment :,))

BASED ON THE POLL, I was really surprised that the majority of you guys voted Pomefiore. Like- I wasn’t really expecting any dorm to win, but Pomefiore is the least expected for me idk why😭

I planned to draw her in all the uniforms but alas, I am not god’s strongest soldier😔✌️ maybe in the future tho!

As to why I drew her in Diasomnia’s uniform, it’s actually the correct (kinda) answer to which dorm Sippy’s most suitable in! I’ve done a quiz twice on which dorm I’d be in twst, and the answer was always Diasomnia. It fits!

Sippy is wearing leggings in the Pomefiore uniform because I ran out of ideas</3 i had fun with the ruffles though I think it’s super cute!

I wanted Pomefiore Sippy to have a red skirt, but decided against it because the inner fabric of the robe(?) is already red :((

I had a lot of fun drawing Diasomnia Sippy! For some reason I changed the neck-tie into a brooch but i can’t remember why🤷‍♀️I guess I wanted her to look different from other members.

Every time I think about Diasomnia I think about the military/guards/knights/soldiers (like Sebek & Silver) so I wanted to make her design realistic those two (ex.the pants, adding combat boots, no braids) . BUT it looked boring. And I don’t want boring. Who gaf about realistic designs anyway /j but yeah her stockings are kinda like Lilia’s!

I was planning to post Floyd’s pic a longggg time ago. It wasn’t even finished until I came up with the idea for the milestone event. Leona and Rook’s pic is also a bit different, since I used a different brush for sketching (I planned to not do the line-art and go straight to rendering, so).

꧁𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜꧂

- "𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝗼𝐝𝐲" The ability to summon small tiny golden spirits, about the size of wisps, by blowing a conch shell into a song. The user is then able to control these spirits. However, it is a docile ability. The spirits are too small to be aggressive. But who knows if they will grow larger by the age of the user….

- 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝗼𝗺 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥 : Legends say that if a child is born from a conch shell, it means that an angel has been born. The truth in this legend remains unknown. However, due to Pin-Cha being born born from said conch, he has a unique ability to contact and communicate with spirits.

- 𝐒𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 : Highly sensitive to magic and can see ghosts, spirits, demons, or supernaturals of the like.

꧁𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐛𝗼𝐮𝐭 𝐏𝐢𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐚꧂

- Pin-Cha is inspired by a character from a Thai literature piece called “สังข์ทอง” (Sang-Tong). Which directly translates to “Golden Conch”. The story is about a woman who gave birth to a conch! It is also a legend that, as stated above, if a child is born from a conch (or if you gave birth to it) it means that an angel has been born! Kinda weird, but fascinating in its own way🕺✨

- That said, his name “Pin-Cha” means “Gold”. I was looking for synonyms for gold in Thai and thought this sounded kinda cute😭 his name kinda sounds like “pinch”. Gotta make a dad joke with that some day-

- I struggled a lot with his hair- it’s very different from the first draft. And his eyes were supposed to be big and round😞 but I still liked how he turned out! I’ll draw his OG eyes in comics next time💓

- In the story, from how I remember, every time the mother goes out, a young boy (Sang-Tong) would come out of the conch and start cleaning the house. He would immediately go back in once his mother comes back. That’s why I made Pin-Cha’s ability to be quite docile, so he can use those spirits to help him clean the halls of Royal Sword Academy🫶

- Pin-Cha doesn’t wear shoes. But he has these two rings on his ankles that have bells on them. So every time he walks runs, you will here TINGLE TINGLE TINGLKEKJTINGW TING TING TINGJNGJRIFJEKF yeah. That’s when you know he’s near 🔔

꧁𝐀𝐛𝗼𝐮𝐭 𝐏𝐢𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐚꧂

- He’s quite timid and shy, very soft spoken and polite. Pin-Cha is all-in-all a good boy— the golden boy of royal sword academy (some might say.)

- Pin-Cha has never known his parents. The only parental figure he’s ever had, and still has, is the headmaster of Royal Sword Academy. The headmaster is a father figure to Pin-Cha, and the boy wishes he could call the headmaster “papa” some day.

- The headmaster allows Pin-Cha to attend classes, and the boy does! Even though he doesn’t understand what the lessons are all about, he still likes to observe how a lecture works. But he usually cleans the academy most of the time.

- Although Pin-Cha is a sweet boy, he sometimes wishes he was….cool.

- Because when he was allowed to visit Night Raven College, he immediately laid eyes on a rowdy group of students. A red-haired boy with a heart on his cheek, another boy with a spade on his cheek, a young girl and a…talking cat?

- He saw how much they laughed together. He saw how much they do all sorts of weird things— especially that talking cat and the girl. Pin-Cha just wished he could climb trees and act crazy like they do.

- And then he began his “rebellious” journey….the most he did was eat pizza with a fork (he thought that was evil.)

- Pin-Cha still has a long way to go , it seems!✨

꧁𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜꧂

"𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞" The ability to put someone in a trance. The trance will show their darkest fear or deepest desires, depending on Charin’s intentions. The victim will be put in a trance when Charin summons a large lotus on the ground (kinda like a booby trap). If the victim steps in the lotus then off they go into dream land, they’ll just stand there with pale and dull eyes, completely still. The longer they take to break out of the trance, the more energy it consumes from both Charin and the victim.

The victim can fall unconscious if they’re in a vulnerable mental state or they take too long to snap out.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐧 : Warriors are adorned with talisman (tattoos) , giving wearers resistance to black magic and blot. And also some resistance to normal physical damage (ex. a normal blade, a bullet)

𝐌𝐞𝐫𝗺𝐚𝐧 : Charin is half merman. Though he can’t transform into a one, he possesses a skill that can swim just as fast as any merman.

꧁𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝗼𝐮𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧꧂

I originally planned a second ability for him. He can summon tiny lotuses that can heal minor injuries if you eat them. It’s like a family thing, since he comes from a family of healers and such, but I decide to cross out the idea.

Charin is also based on the literature piece Ramakien like Anan! He’s inspired by the character…..*drumroll please*….Muchanu! (มัจฉานุ). Muchanu is the son of Hanuman, they’re both Yakshas. But Hanumna uh did the devil’s tango with a mermaid so yeah..there’s Muchanu🧍‍♀️

I originally planned for Charin to be based off Hanuman (หนุมาน), but I decided to go for Muchanu for shits and giggles. I just think the fish tail is so cute I couldn’t pass it up.

If I remember correctly, Muchanu is a goody-two-shoes and is kinda like a side character. I don’t think he had that much screen time.

I created Charin because I had a feeling that if I was in Twisted Wonderland, alone with no magic and no one that’d speak my native language, I’d be lonely as hell. So Charin is like a comfort character to me<33

His hair resembles a lotus (doesn’t really look like it but yeah) it’s not a blooming lotus though. And his hair is not a bun.

His big ears represents Yakshas that are related to monkeys(?) (or just monkeys. They draw monkeys pretty similar to yakshas (in the literature piece)

The swirl-pattern on his cheeks is something I notice in a lot of monkey character designs. Or maybe I’m tripping and I’m remembering it as something else but I swear I see it from time to time😭

꧁𝐀𝐛𝗼𝐮𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧꧂

Since Charin is (half) merman, he loves water sports! He loves going to the beach, go diving in the deep sea, he surfs too! He goes to the local beach so often that the people (and workers) there know who he is.

Charin’s a very fun guy. He loves to party too (he gets along with Kalim well too, and they’re both in the pop music club!) But he’s not that energetic to the point that it’s suffocating, he knows when to have fun and when to stop.

As the body guard of Anan, he doesn’t seem to be strict at all. It’s not because he doesn’t care about his job (maybe), it’s because…well….could any one actually beat Anan? Jokes aside, he may have a baby face and is fun to be around, but he’s actually way stronger than he looks. His father’s lineage are warriors that served the King of Yakshas, so I guess that’s where he got his skills from.

But hey, don’t get scared now! He’s a pleasant guy, he wouldn’t start a fight unless you give him a reason to. Though…he wouldn’t say no to a spar or two. Show him what you got, he won’t judge! Charin’s not the type to play dirty too, unless the situations are dire, of course.

Charin, ever the mysterious guy. You wouldn’t even know he had a fish-tail until later. He likes to hide his tail for unknown reasons.

Charin has a habit of being flirty, but that’s just a part of his personality. He doesn’t even know he’s flirty! And he’d get so confused that someone caught feelings. Hm? What do you mean you like him? He thought he was just being friendly…
