You know how people say that we already have pixal Nya Jay and sora being interested in mechs and technology or smth? That it’s like so many of them have the same hobbie or smth?

I kinda feel like Jay could be excluded from it. I KNOW I KNOW he was introduced as an inventor or smth, but ngl I feel like barley saw him construct or invent stuff through out the series? At least def not as much as Nya pixal or sora. Like Nya and pixal are the samurai x girlies and Nya was even a mechanic before and all that- they were doing much more. And then there’s sora who, yeah you get my point.

This isn’t hate to Jay, im just saying that hes really at least not at the same level as the others or THAT characterized as an inventor or tech guy. Sure he knows some stuff and is kind of interested, I do think naya and him bond over that. But he’s not really part of the group that’s always creating mechs and stuff.

Edit : ok I wanna mek sure ppl understand 😭 I understand that aspect of his character is kind of there, but I myself just feel like the writers didn’t show enough of that side of him which makes me less sure about how we also call him an inventor or tech and all. It’s a cool part of his character and I don’t think they should take that away, I just think they already DID take it away, making it kinda hard to group him with the other girls who have been shown to be much more prominent with that, uk?

Jungkook knits his brows at your unmoving position on the bed - the same position he’s left you in 10 minutes prior - naked and all.

You mumble something inaudible to Jungkook and he sighs. He places the shirt neatly back into the closet and comes closer to the bed. “This is why I said we need a safe word.”

You suck your teeth at Jungkook’s words.

“Don’t be like that, Y/N. I fucked you so good that-”

“Don’t get ahead of yourself.” You hiss, straining your neck to look at him.

Jungkook wants to laugh because, of course, you’d speak up to argue with him.

“It’s not like we do anything that requires a safe word. You act as if you have me hanging from the ceiling.”

Jungkook rolls his eyes. “The way you’re laying there after a good fuck, you mind-”

Jungkook manages to dodge a kick, but it isn’t like you put enough force into it. Jungkook decides to stop teasing you.

“My body just hurts.” you murmur, a slight pout on your lips. “Not because of you or your mediocre dick, either. I just had a long day at work.”

Jungkook scoffs with a roll of his eye. “It must be so hard standing in the same place.”

Your eyes harden at Jungkook and in retaliation, you decide to turn over, back facing him. “I actually had to stock stuff today.” you say. You were sick of Jungkook and his constant teasing that your job “wasn’t stressful” because all you did was “stand there and look pretty”.

Jungkook gasps dramatically. “They had you stock the shelves?” he hides his laughter, especially when you attempt to send another kick his way that he dodges easily. “My poor Y/N, having to work even though I pay for everything.”

Jungkook dips onto his bed beside you, his hands rubbing circles onto your back. “Maybe you should quit if it’s starting to strain your body.”

You lay on your arms, turning your head to look at Jungkook with an unamused look. “I can’t just quit my job.”

Jungkook blinks, deepening the pressure onto your back. “Why not?” he asks. “What if they have you stock more shelves?” Jungkook bites the inside of his cheek because the thought of stocking shelves straining your body this much makes him want to laugh at how dramatically (cute) you were.

“Nice to know that my pain is bringing you such enjoyment.” you bite back, closing your eyes. 

“Of course not.” Jungkook focuses his hands on your neck, rubbing circles around them before he reaches your shoulders. “You don’t want to quit. This is your own fault.”

“I have bills to pay.” you murmur gently. 

“I pay your bills.” Jungkook retorts. And it wasn’t a lie - but it isn’t like you asked him to. Jungkook insisted like he always did, stating that if you and he were going to be dating then that meant he was going to have to “step up” more. “I get you everything you need. Your paychecks are just pocket change.”

“Ugh, rude.” you turn your head the other way, sighing as Jungkook's hands dip onto your back. “Maybe I don’t want to leech off of you.”

Jungkook remains quiet - you were far too stubborn. His words do nothing but go into one ear and out the other - no matter how many times Jungkook has to explain that he enjoys doing what he does for you, you’d never see it that way.

“So you aren’t quitting?” Jungkook asks after another 5 minutes. He’s sure you were dozing off, your breathing was becoming slowed and body limp. 

You made a sound that told him “no”.

“I see. I can get you a membership so you can get massages-”

“Shut up, simp.” you murmur, eyelids already heavy, but nonetheless, you move closer to Jungkook. At this, he allows you to come closer, lying down besides you to bring you closer to him. 

Jungkook’s warmth is inviting and you immediately sink deeper into his embrace. You hum softly when you feel Jungkook’s fingers lightly trace your back, as if drawing shapes or writing letters. It tickles lightly and causes you to squirm when they inch up your spine until they’re at the nape of your neck. “You’re so cute.” Jungkook murmurs, lips against your forehead as his fingers gently rub along your neck. “Wanna shower?”

You huff - because yes, you did. But you also didn’t feel like getting up off of the bed and out of Jungkook’s warm embrace (not like you’d ever tell him that).

“I can run you a bath instead.” Jungkook offers, kissing your forehead softly. He understands that he could be a bit rough when in the act of intimacy and as much as you enjoyed it, it did weigh down on your body. “I wish you’d just tell me to slow down sometimes.”

“My mother didn’t raise a bitch.” was your response - a typical you response that has Jungkook snorting. 

Jungkook kisses your forehead again, “I’ll start the bath for you.” he says, untangling himself from you and lowly, you groan at the lack of warmth but didn’t protest. You didn’t want Jungkook actually thinking you wanted his presence - because of course it wasn’t that.

As time passed on with you staying in Jungkook’s home frequently, he made sure you had essentials. He cleared up some room for you - assuring you had a couple drawers in his bathroom for your own feminine products and beauty products. As he starts the bath, he’s sure to add the warm smell of vanilla you enjoy so that you could relax. 

“Come.” Jungkook tugs at your leg gently to get you to move from your position on the bed. “Your bath is ready.”

“Ugh.” you groan and lift yourself from Jungkook’s bed. Jungkook has a small smile on his lips  as he watches you go from his bedroom to the bathroom and dip into the bath. 

“Feels good?” Jungkook asks, leaning against the counter and watch you sink into the bath and only your head is present. 

“It’s okay.” you murmur, closing your eyes and Jungkook knows that it’s your way of saying that you loved the gesture - but you were undoubtedly you and giving him credit would be the last thing you’d ever do. 

However, Jungkook would never take you seriously so he just snickers. “I’ll order us some food.”

One eye peaks open at Jungkook who is waiting for a response.

“You want me to get something sweet, too, I assume?” Jungkook already knows by the look in your eyes and when you nod, he laughs. “Anything for you.”

“Simp.” you murmur, sinking into the bath to avoid Jungkook seeing your expression.

I turned around to march up to my laundry hamper, deciding it better to re-wear something this once than to simply have nothing else until I noticed it was missing from its key spot. 

I looked up to see if any of my siblings were in the room and saw my sister, Bea “Hey uh Bea have you seen my laundry hamper? I can't remember where I put it…” I say to her with sleepy confusion laced into my voice “Oh yeah well it's laundry day and you were sleeping for a while so Annabeth decided to take yours and do it for you!” Bea explained, “So all my clothes are in the wash.” “Oh yeah sorry is that a bad thing I mean I can't say I won't judge you if you wanna be those people who don't bathe or anything..” Bea says with an astute tone to her voice and a clear grimace on her face “Um no no it's fine…” I replied under my breath.

I look at him and scrunch my nose at him as if he were the foul smell you would get if you ventured to the stables. But with that pause in my step, Luke took it to his advantage quickly snagging the owl sleeping mask off of my head and holding it up.

“Well, you'll just have to come by if you want this back then hmm little owl.” With him snatching my eye mask and this newly formed nickname my face glowed a light pink you would think I was a daughter of Aphrodite for a second “Wait what-” Luke already cut me off with a quick peck to my cheek stunning me again and starts to strut off before calling over his shoulder “Okay see you later then my little owl!”

I turn to watch him walk for a mere second before knocking some sense into myself and continuing my walk. I know I shouldn't go. I'm a daughter of Athena, I should be smarter than this but maybe Annabeth could wait a day. It's just fruit…  I think I just really need “my sleeping mask” back…

Okay, okay. I love the Furiosa movie. Not as much as Fury Road but I love it for what it is.

However, there is one really odd plot hole I can’t get over that sort of ruined the undercurrent theme/threat of female enslavement in Immortan Joe’s male dominated dystopian cult.

Furiosa gets tossed into the big ole Wife Vault for a hot minute. She escapes and…no one notices? No one cares? Okay, she’s new, I guess I can ignore it.

The big one that I cannot understand at all: She joins up with Praetorian Jack and returns to the Citadel, long ass gorgeous hair, looking fine as hell. Clearly a woman!

How, someone tell me how Immortan Joe didn’t snap her up and toss her ass back in the Vault to see if she’s not barren? How did this not occur?

Literally all full-life women in this place are placed in chains. That’s…that’s like Immortan Joe’s thing.

You can’t tell me this Bad Man felt so generous that he’d just let Praetorian Jack keep her on his crew. I’m just. Ugh.

It sort of ruined the threat aspect of being a woman in this hard, terrible dystopia where women have no rights (they are valued only for breeding perfect specimens or providing milk). How did this NOT APPLY to Furiosa?

Was Joe like, “oh she fights, I guess she doesn’t need to do the most important duty that only a few women in this Citadel can perform”?

Like, if Splendid Angharad was a fighting bad ass, Joe still would have thrown her ass in the Vault. No questions asked. Nah girl, I have men to fight for me. What do I not have? I don’t have men pushing out perfect babies!

The whole misogynist world in the Citadel got reduced by this plot hole not being explained. Furiosa spends all this time hiding as a Boy, but then freely shows herself? Doesn’t make sense, I can’t make it make sense.

A scene could have fixed this, but instead we got a massive time jump where we just have to accept that Furiosa is somehow driving the War Rig?

Side note, the scene of her sleeping in a room full of War Boys also gave me the yikes because there are so many things that could just…go wrong…in that situation…

What do you think of the argument that it was hinted from the beginning that Stella was a bad mother because of these following reasons:

She stayed in bed while Stolas went to comfort Octavia, and all the drawings in little Octavia's room was of her and her father but didn't feature Stella at all.

In my opinion it could be a sign that Stella is somewhat negligent and distant from her daughter's life, but to be fair it isn't proof that she is abusive, Via even spends the weekends at her place presumably out of her own free will.

I think ultimately I just feel extremely frustrated as I feel like Stella has been portrayed very inconsistently and the inconsistencies haven’t been explained well at all because we’re shown so little about Stella. In the words of Fear from Inside Out: Boooo, pick a plot line!

It’s hard to make too many conclusions from the Looloo land Octavia nightmare scene as it was just one brief moment. Octavia called for them both and Stolas says to Stella that Via is calling them before Stella tells him to deal with it and he does. That doesn’t tell us whether she never comes when Via needs her for something like that and Stolas and Via are asking on the off chance she changes her mind. It also doesn’t tell us that she does often come and that was just a blip moment. We have little idea how many other times there has been and what they were like.

Either way. In retrospect now we know the marriage is arranged, it feels very sad, as if Stella was on the edge and exhausted and didn’t really want to tend to her daughter… well, that’s a daughter. That she had no real choice in having. It’s honestly very dark and I wish that was given the weight it deserves, but the show just. Won’t. Commit. If Stella was neglectful, show it and commit to it and make it clear.

And I guess the drawings do make it seem like Stolas spent more time with Via back then, but also yes, Via leaves with her mother on the weekends in the present day, so maybe Stella got closer with her daughter the older she got? Which could have been incredibly interesting to explore, Stella stepping up after a few years of not wanting to parent and falling in love with her baby a little late because of everything. There is so much great material there.

But it’s never used properly and we never see anything other than random snippets despite the focus this stuff deserves. Because everything has to focus on Stolas and Stolitz and just. MAN 😭 ugh.

Tl;dr basically. I think that even judging exactly what Stella is or was like as a mother feels borderline impossible in the first place because we’re shown so little of her story and interactions with Via, despite all the raging potential there and despite her being so relevant to the story given how focused on Stolas is.

Definitely a girl dad. He would be very gentle with her, but almost excessively. It would take him quite a while to get used to having such a little human around the house when she's a newborn. As she gets older however he will learn that she will be able to do more and more herself. He won't have to carry her everywhere, she'll be able to say what she wants, she'll be able to climb up on furniture and by the ripe age of like 3 Gunil will be saying things like "they grow up so fast," you better believe that Gunil is raising a little drummer girl too. When she's little he'd hold her on his lap and give her the drumsticks to play with. Everytime she bashes one of the drums Gunil feels a piece of him dying inside 💀 but it's all worth it for his precious baby girl.

Jungsu

I see Jungsu as either an uncle or a "trying my best" girl dad. I think Jungsu would get super stressed out with a kid of his own and he'd want to give his wife time to rest but he physically doesn't know how to handle her, specifically when she's first born. He'd want to help the mother by feeding the baby through the night but after being woken up like twice he would get exhausted 😭 he'd be much better at parenting when she gets older.

Gaon

I feel like Gaon is in-between. I can see him being either or both. Something tells me that Jiseok would want to be in the room during labour but basically as soon as it starts he would pass out 😭 but once everything has calmed down he would absolutely adore his baby. Like the pure adoration that would fill his eyes when he sees the baby for the first time UGH. He would love to hold them in his arms and play with them with his finger, letting the baby hold his finger and even suck on it. He would be like Jungsu in the beginning, trying his best to not fall apart but when they get older he would be so fun. When they can walk he'd love to play with them and run around in the backyard 🥺

Girl dad. No hesitation. Probably the best dad in the entire group. As soon as you confirm that you're pregnant he will be reading up on how to care for them and buying everything you may need. When you can finally take the baby home he would be an excellent help. He would feed her, sing her to sleep, rock her, and bathe her all while still helping the mother. Her first words would probably be his name or "dada" because of how much time they'd spend together. Also random thing to throw in here but he'd love sleeping together, all three of you. When he gets older Junhan would stay relaxed most of the time but you better believe Junhan is raising a little guitarist. As soon as the baby can handle slightly loud sounds he's playing the guitar with him and buying him his own baby toy guitar.

Goofy boy or girl dad. I could see him doing the thing where you throw the baby up and catch them but every time he does that you would just freak out because you swear to God if he drops your baby he's dead. He'd play all kinds of games with the baby and make weird faces at them and he'd usually get hit the 👁👄👁 baby face but after a while, the baby would laugh at Jooyeon. He'd also be good at feeding even throughout the night and when the baby starts eating mush food he would still be great at it.
