The Palestinian Authority cannot divide the united resistance despite all efforts!
A fighter of the Al-Qassam Brigades in Jenin responded after yesterday's intense battle in Jenin, directing his message to the PA:
To the PA, he said, "Pack up your soldiers! Go and arrest the PA soldiers that were fighting with us, the honorable ones!"
"If the occupation ended [the national situation in Jenin] today, Gaza is present with missiles that can reach from the beginning of Palestine to the end of Palestine. If the national situation disappeared in Jenin today, it would come out of Nablus, Tulkarem, Gaza, and Al-Khalil!"

This is like a week later than I meant, but what isn’t.
This blog was created to
Ride along with me and shirt, my journey in game development, many many years ago. It did not do that. Shame really, that the blog did not assist me in this way.
This is in the past.
Now, I am currently committed to making a video game.
Far as I can tell,. It’s hard given we are experiencing it, but it does appear as though we are at the beginning of Andor in the middle of ,. Something of a renaissance for hobbyist Indy game development.
And delightfully, since the last one, I have developed a very particular set of skills.
So yes. I will be using this old side blog for the time being to post about the current work that I am doing.
This is the event, it is open for 2.5 more days until high noon on Friday, the 14th EDT
Just interviewed with P1 Games . That is where you’re gonna wanna start if you’re wanting to get into this as well.

Uniting Africa Against Climate Change
By: The Editor
As the African continent grapples with the devastating impacts of climate change, it is imperative that we come together in a collective effort to combat this existential threat. From scorching heatwaves to crippling droughts and destructive floods, no corner of Africa has been spared from the ravages of a rapidly changing climate.
In the face of such adversity, it is time for us to set aside our differences and unite in a common cause. Climate change knows no borders, and its effects are felt by all, regardless of nationality or creed. It is only through solidarity and cooperation that we can hope to mitigate its worst effects and build a more sustainable future for generations to come.
Now is the time for action. We must work together to reduce carbon emissions, invest in renewable energy sources, and implement policies that promote sustainable development and environmental conservation. By joining forces and pooling our resources, we can create a continent that is resilient to the challenges of climate change and capable of thriving in a rapidly evolving world.
Together, let us rise to the challenge of climate change and forge a brighter future for Africa and all its inhabitants. The time for action is now.
Help us grow our community here

Kinda bummed that they didn’t follow through with Fleeflak’s prediction that Rick will be maimed by Big Foot. Still, much better than the previous two episodes.
Rick and Morty is an American adult animated science fiction sitcom created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Cartoon Network's nighttime Adult Swim programming block. It stars the voices of Ian Cardoni, Harry Belden, Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, and Sarah Chalke.

I will continue to uncontrollably dump the last 4 years of my life onto tumblr until I run out of things to post! Here's an old project of mine, GPU based boids that are designed to run in VRChat, shown in this lovely world right here https://vrchat.com/home/world/wrld_e9c2c3bd-fedc-4289-a8fd-c7151ffc3cdb They utilize SDF's that were developed alongside a raymarching shader for previewing bounds, and are more approximations of boids than anything. They don't have proper collision avoiding, but they are close enough. The complicated swarming behavior you can (kind of) see here comes from just 3 rules
1.> Dont crash 2.> Stay in groups 3.> Travel in the same direction as other
Being on VRChat a few concessions had to be made of course. VR performance is a little rough, its running on a Camera + Rendertexture loop instead of a proper compute shader, and vision and collision avoidance are approximated, but I'm happy with how they turned out.
The editor scripts I wrote are super fucking cursed, and just have bits of shaders straight up hard coded to past into .txt files to be read as shaders for generating variants of the SDF's, but eventually I'd like to return to this to get it polished up to the point where an actually sane individual could drop it into a world and get some nice fishies

“It really boils down to this: that all life is interrelated. We are all caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

✍️ Digging Tunnels with Pens: Anonymous Publishing as Intellectual Resistance by Aziz Yafi, published in the blog of the Institute for Palestine Studies
"By embracing clandestine publishing, we reject the commodification of knowledge and the constraints of Western individualism. We center the collective over the individual, the struggle over the author. This strategy, borrowed from revolutionary movements across history, allows us to bypass the structures that seek to censor and punish us, creating spaces for radical ideas to thrive and circulate beyond the confines of institutional power.
Resisting the commodification of knowledge also requires resisting novelty. Clandestine writing does not necessarily have to be new. It can also involve the revisiting of revolutionary ideas from the past and archival sources that have been suppressed by the passage of time and institutional power hierarchies — returning revolutionary knowledge to our collective struggle.
Ultimately, we must recognize that our energies are better spent outside the academy, and in strategically extracting its resources to fuel our anti-colonial work elsewhere. It is time to return to the archives of insurgent knowledge, revive the revolutionary spirit of past movements, and produce knowledge that resists (self) censorship and affirms the struggle for Palestinian liberation by all means necessary.
In times of intensified repression, clandestine publishing becomes a necessity and a vital form of intellectual and political survival. As censorship tightens, we must draw from history, learn from past movements, and rely on one another to keep the flame of resistance burning. This is not a call to abandon the academic space entirely, but to master the art of navigating both worlds –— maintaining our presence within institutional frameworks while never losing sight of the collective struggle. To go underground as academics means to learn from the endurance of Palestinian resistance, the steadfastness of Gaza, and the struggle of Palestinian prisoners. It is a call to learn rather than teach, to apply knowledge rather than extract it.
The tunnels dug by Palestinian prisoners with spoons, and those created by Gaza's resistance, symbolize a reorientation of our approach — teaching us to think not just laterally but vertically, subverting spatial barriers and borders. These tunnels remind us to delve into our collective history of knowledge production, to republish what has been buried or scattered in lost archives, and to make accessible what's been withheld by institutional gatekeepers. Doing so teaches us to reject the Western capitalist drive for constant novelty, which seeks to erase the wisdom of militant generations before us. The words of those who were often assassinated for their ideas remain alive.
To learn from Palestinian resistance is to carve and dig escape tunnels from academia's mental production lines, with pens as our tools. We go underground not to bury our heads and remain hidden but to traverse and dismantle the borders that confine us. We go underground to emerge stronger, to speak loudly and radically in spaces where our voices are suppressed, and to break through the boundaries that seek to silence us."

Project Link Up All Stars - The Salt and Pepper Diner
Inspired by this post
Tumblr media
Astor McCarl (Cartoon Network Unity Linkage, Linker of the Scotsman) - Narrating it
Becca Blossom (Cartoon Network Unity Linkage, Linker of Samurai Jack) - John's Friend
I wanna tell you one story, uh. This-this was the best meal I've ever had in me life, alright? This happened when I became The Scotsman’s Linker in Sunnyday Shores where I grew up and it took place at a little restaurant called The Salt and Pepper Diner, which was a family restaurant in the city.
Aye, yes, you know the Salt and Pepper diner? It's a wonderful family restaurant in Chicago, which means that it caters mainly to loons and homeless fearts.
Now I go into this place one day when I'm with me best friend Becca. Now I should say that her name is also Rebecca, I'm not calling herself her own real name. It's a separate human being. We walk into the Salt and Pepper diner one day, and they had a jukebox there, alright? And the jukebox was three plays for a dollar, so we put in seven dollars, and selected twenty-one plays of Tom Jones' "What's New Pussycat?" And then we ordered and waited.
Here's the thing about when "What's New Pussycat?" plays over and over and over and over and over again. The second time it plays, your immediate thought is not, "Hey someone's playing 'What's New Pussycat' again." It's, "Hey, 'What's New Pussycat' is a lot longer than I first thought, and it has like a dip in the middle."
You know how some songs have a dip, like Guns n' Roses' "November Rain?" You're like, "Hey, 'November Rain's' over!"
No it's not. There's more.
The third time it plays, you're thinking maybe someone's playing "What's New Pussycat" again. The fourth time it plays you're thinking, "Whoa. Someone just played 'What's New Pussycat' four times, or at least someone played it twice, and it's a really long song." So, the fifth time is the kicker. Now, we're watching the entire diner at this point. Most people have gotten wind as to what's going on, and we're staring at this one guy with his partner and he's sitting in his booth and his like hand is shaking while his stupid wee ones jump around and like he's been on to us since the beginning, and he's staring at his coffee cup like this and he has this look on his face like-ah-like he just got his thirty day chip from anger management. He's staring like this, and the fourth play fades out. It's dead quiet, and then, I don't know if you know this, but the song begins very subtly:
"Bwah-bwa What's New Pussycat?" and the guy goes, "Gosh darnit!" and he pounds on the table, and silverware flies everywhere and it was pure barry.
But a word about me friend Becca, and what a genius that lass was because, when we were first up at the jukebox and we were punching in the What's New Pussycats, alright? I'd punched in about seven, and then Becca says to me, "Hey, hey, hey wait. Before we drop in another What's New Pussycat. Let's put in one 'It's Not Unusual.'"
And that is when the afternoon went from good to great. After seven "What's New Pussycat"s in a row, suddenly, "Dum, da na, dum, da-na-na-na-na-na, It's not unusual," and the sigh of relief has swept through the diner; people were ecstatic. It was like the defeat of the main villain. You know, for years, scientists have wondered, can you make grown men and women weep tears of joy by playing Tom Jones' "It's Not Unusual"? And the answer is yes, you can, as long as it is preceded by seven "What's New Pussycat"s.
And on the other hand, when we went back. Holy crap. "It's Not Unusual" fades out. It's dead quiet:
"Bwah-bwa What's New Pussycat?" People went flipping insane. No one could handle it. No one could handle it, and they were surrounded by like this seemingly indifferent staff, you know, that was just like, "Yep, same stuff as always." Me only wish is that one of the fearts had stood up and been like, "Now you know. Now you know what it's like to live in me brain." They unplug the jukebox after eleven plays, and that was the best meal I've ever had.
Thank you very much, San Francisco. This was great, thank you. Hope to see you again real soon. Me name's Astor McCarl. Have a good night!

Worth noting that a lot of corporates don't understand what 'live service' means to people who actually play games and just understand it as 'we can patch for free using steam'. A fair bit of these are probably just games planned to have an early access period.
