Those of you who are into tortured priests and vampire priests will be happy to learn I discovered one in my story as I wrote it. Hopefully, it won't take you too long to meet him.

I accidentally foreshadowed it for myself without realizing it. When my main character, who is a writer as well as being a vampire, is being pitched to to adapt some of her books into streaming, the person in acquisitions brings up one of her early stories. She says she will not give the rights to as it is too sacrilegious. The person from acquisitions tells her that she underestimates the market for priest kink.

It was meant to be just a throwaway line but must of lodged in my subconscious because as I was coming out of sleep the other day, I suddenly saw the back story for a character that I had a hard time conceptualizing and it all just came together.

That was two days ago for, for documentation purposes in case the story goes anywhere. Haha. I mean, if all goes well, there should be at least 4 books to this story.

The plan is

Book 1) The MC today, her books are adapted and her relationship with those bringing them to life. (Her "touching grass" with humanity)

Book 2) Her origin story (1995-97)

Book 3) Her search for her people and meeting her maker again (early 2000s)

Book 4) Bringing it home, She reunites with her Maker and together they face an enemy more dangerous than vampires. (Aprox. 2026)

I mean, the characters are gonna take you where they want to take you. But that's the loose plan.

I- I might have doodled some more- Rollo can point anything deadly at Rook all he wants, it still won't make him back away or stop grinning. Rook's been knocking at the window randomly for weeks before finally getting (accidentally) invited in And he's probably awake during daytime too because why not, the trickier to move around the funnier ! It's like playng the floor is lava but actually deadly ! :)))
