Everything I can remember of my dream

so when the dream started all the usernames I could remember looked like this and it was just us posting blank pictures of belos and we just kinda got what that meant

then i woke up STILL DREAMING and deadwardian Philip was sitting on my brother's bed and he started talking about stuff I can't remember but I do remember how excited he was about it

then I joined a discord server and ran through a bunch of posts like a mario level and i called Azura my older sister/aunt figure

Then Philip from Zach's sytsem and I were in the kitchen and we had to wrangle, calm and then let my dogs outside

they went out to play and I woke up

collei (our primary host + the one who runs this blog 99% of the time) wants to relay a bit of a ramble though she's not out rn! she says "hi! i actually have multiple sources, being host for nearly a decade and going through a handful of fusions will do that to you. my sources are jade and nepeta from homestuck, michael distortion from tma, and collei from genshin! basically i'm Green Grrrlz + weird spiralthing."

okay first of all i am SO sorry this took six thousand years to reply to. but. i am very nervous bc this story has been my baby and a great comfort of mine for over 5 years so anyway. here we go

this is luis! he’s my funky robot oc. these drawings are all pretty old but they’re still pretty accurate. he was built to be a farmhand but found his passion in playing the piano, so traveled to the big city when his creator died to join a band.

and this is rubick! he’s basically for robots what doctors are for humans. he repairs robots and does checkups etc for a living. he’s a very sweet and funky guy.

now, these ocs have been in development for over 5 years, so they have changed a LOT from their original conception, and i’m afraid they are not nearly as comparable to the seinfeld / kramer dynamic these days as i lead you to believe. sorry for the false advertising. that used to be exactly who these ocs were created with in mind, so i still think of them that way sometimes, but tbh it’s not really a fair comparison these days. [for reference, luis used to be inspired by characters more like dale gribble, kramer and grunkle stan, but these days he’s a lot more mellow]

i am in the process of writing more of the actual lore and backstory behind these characters out, and i have a very vivid picture of the world and setting in my head [lots of 60s-90s tech aesthetics and elements from vintage eras while remaining futuristic] and there’s lots of other characters too! but it’s. A LOT and i don’t want to overwhelm you before i can even get all my ducks in a row LMAO

however i will say that rubick and luis are gay together hehe peace and love on planet earth <3 here’s some much more recent doodles of them!

Just read you had aspec Moon Knight posts you deleted, after reading you were looking for some aspec Moon Knight fics while I was searching your blog for more fics after I read your voicemails fic (it broke my heart in the most delicious way lol).

Hello! I never actually deleted any posts, just the harassing comments on posts. The existence of those comments just proves why I need to leave them up anyway. No aphobia on my blog! 😤

Anyway, idk how far you went back in my posts, but I have a ton of aspec moon knight stuff because the fandom needs more of it, especially the tumblr fandom. (Like, I get it, people think Oscar Isaac is attractive. I don't need to go into the moon knight tag and instantly get bombarded by hundreds of self-insert smut. Even tho that's what tumblr does... sigh) So, I thought I would make as much aspec content as I could to cater to the ppl who don't want smut constantly on their dash lol

the song sounded familiar and then i realized it’s because i’d heard my sibling singing it before. i love that so much. i think if my sibling ever got back into ninjago like i have they would really be able to appreciate garmadon from new perspectives. thanks for the ask, it brightened up my day!

Which TSP ending is your favorite?

i haven’t personally played through them all yet, but i really like the skip button ending and the zending. i am a simple man; i like to torture the narrator.

in all seriousness, those are actually the hardest endings for me to endure. i feel very guilty because of the inherit cruelty of the situations but i also feel a bit lonely and hopeless because the narrator has not given me any reason to believe he is capable of change. i don’t think he’s simply a bad person with no redeemable qualities, but he doesn’t understand the weight of his influence on others. he’s self absorbed and selfish because he doesn’t understand human emotions very well and has never had reason to try. as far as he’s concerned, he’s an entirely separate entity who can’t be bothered with ‘stooping to their level’.

this obviously doesn’t justify his actions, but it makes me feel for him. he’s very naïve in many respects and i think if given the chance to grow he could under better circumstances, but he’s stuck. he doesn’t have the right ideas and his heart isn’t in the right place but i think he believes it is.

the skip button ending is just really, really well done. i sat through all his dialogue, and they did a really good job of making it feel like he was rambling forever without it feeling thin or watered down. the ending is ominous and scary but also kind of gratifying, because it implies some sort of freedom. the implications with the narrator being gone really terrify me though.

the zending is magnificent because i think the narrator actually does change a bit for the better, and he’s afraid to lose that progress. he feels happy and at home in that place and wants stanley to feel the same, but he still doesn’t understand that other people have different needs. of course stanley isn’t content to an eternity of nothing. when the narrator says “i don’t want to go back to what i was before!” it really hit me hard, because i know there’s no way for them to have a happy ending. there’s no ending at all, so how could they?

the narrator is a selfish jackass and i feel just as sorry for him as i feel angry at him. thanks for coming to my ted talk that was definitely way more than you asked for lol

This is so ridiculous I had to tell someone about it, but last night I had a series of extremely vivid, feverish dreams which were all entirely from the perspective of a Seinfeld character (like I'd become this person suddenly) but I won't tell you which one it was.

But what if Dr. Julien and Cyrus Borg held hands? What then?

omg. pulls up a chair. flips the cap off my water bottle dramatically. cracks my knuckles along with every other joint in my body. opens power point.

i’m actually working on an au where dr julien puts his brain in a computer in his last years at the lighthouse and eventually winds up in borg tower for a bit because him and cyrus naturally become besties. to me it’s not really romantic; cyrus looks up to dr julien and admires his work a lot, and dr julien is overjoyed to meet someone with as much passion for engineer stuff as himself, but there’s a couple reasons i don’t really see them together.

first, cyrus is pixal’s dad, and while i don’t personally ship pixal and zane the fact that their relationship is canon makes me hesitant to also ship their respective parents lol [this isn’t a dealbreaker either bc obviously there are a billion scenarios where there’s no awkward context]

second, while age gaps aren’t inherently an issue, being a crusty ancient old man is pretty much ingrained into dr julien’s personality at this point and i think it changes their dynamic enough that they wouldn’t be super compatible ?? idk

however!! this isn’t to say there’s anything wrong with shipping them of course, these are just the main reasons i don’t see them that way. i will say though that in my au they practically become attached at the hip and have LOTS of witty banter and gossip. they’re besties 🫶

I wish I had more thoughts and headcanons but there is nothing rattling around in my brain right now. I just remember experiencing the Zane is an android twist in real time and it permanently altered kid me's brain chemistry. I always loved how much joy and care Zane has particularily for animals and my autistic self felt kind of seen fkljkslh. He has a gentleness about him that's really nice and interacts interestingly with how blunt and straightforward he is. I think there's a lot of angst potential with his character that doesn't get talked about enough. To die so many times and have your body changed and altered probably makes one feel pretty disconnected after awhile. At least he has his found family there to ground and support him. I also love Dr. Julien and Borg so much. Science dads.

i desperately wanted to emulate zane as a kid because he was so much more patient and gentle than me, even with people and situations he didn’t understand, which always frustrated me to no end. i’m glad i adopted him as a role model because ninjago changed my life for the better in many ways and zane specifically made a huge impact on me; namely in the fact that i love robots more than anything to this day.

that thing you mentioned about zane’s angst potential… oh yes. i absolutely adore the scary robot psychology surrounding his intense fear of losing the things that make him sentient, like his memories and his humanity. it doesn’t get touched on nearly enough in the show, so i love to see it brought up in fanworks!

and yes, dr julien and cyrus borg are the best science dads ever. i wish they could have met in canon and geeked out together. it would have been so beautiful.
