Champagne drenched your body causing confetti to stick to your hair and skin. It was certainly a battle between the three who were all tied in the points going into today's race. Lewis crossed the finish line first causing the entire atmosphere to change. The crowds and the Ferrari garage erupted in applause and gleeful cheers.

Everyone was still overjoyed as you looked down at the crowd below the podium you were standing on. You quickly pulled a few pieces of confetti off of yourself and the champagne bottle you were holding, stashing them in your pocket.

You hugged Lewis tightly as you congratulated him on his eighth world championship and he thanked you for all your hard work. It was an incredible piece of history you had the honor to be a part of.

OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE THIS QUESTIONNNNNN UHMMM I THINK—

Ok joking aside😭 I ACTUALLY MADE A DESIGN FOR MY VERSION OF TREY... SIMPLY BC THE IDEA OF REDESIGNING HIM WAS SOOOOO FUN

I will ramble a bit on my desicions, my inspirations and the personality traits that I changed/added since I also wanted to do something else with Trey's personality, sorry Sheepie I just think he's a tiiiiiiny bit boring to my taste💔

However!!! Before I go on and on I just want to say, this is NOT me hating on Trey by any means, while he might not be a character I'm excited about, I do understand that there are people (like our lovely Sheep here💙) who really love him and care for him just the way he is, and I'm happy for that!! I just did this because i thought it would be fun :)

Appearance!! (Ryu from Kimi ni Todoke, Kim Namjoon and Kurosawa from Choking on Love)

I wanted to change Trey's hair DESPERATELY because I personally don't like Trey's haircut, I don't think it looks very flattering on him💔 So! I gave him a buzz cut!! While I'm always saying I love how men look with longer hair, I absolutely adore buzz cuts, so I thought an easy fix would be giving him a haircut that I think would be flattering to him, taking inspiration from all of these but specifically Kurosawa, I even gave Trey an earring like Kurosawa lol

I like thinking my Trey is more muscular than canon Trey, maybe even a bit taller? He's just a bit more buff generally speaking, I think that adds a fun touch✨

I also wanted to make his face shape similar to Namjoon, I made it a bit rounder and I also gave him dimples, which I think would be such a cute little detail everytime he smiled (which isn't a lot so... Hehe) :]

His clothes didn't change much, but I took inspiration from how Ryu wears his uniform, so I got rid of Trey's tie, but kept the rest the same! Also, I changed the placement of the clover symbol because I didn't like it before, I kinda still don't but? I think it looks better on the corner of the forehead

Personality!!

Trey's personality is lovely yes but a bit bland to me... So I took a lot of inspiration from Kurosawa, Ryu and even Mori from Ouran and decided to make him more reserved, quiet even. My version of Trey is a guy who looks intimidating on the outside, he doesn't smile all that often and he usually doesn't speak much, but he's actually a really caring guy, and helped Yuu and the others bake that tart with no problem really, as he wanted peace in Heartslabyul to be back again

I like thinking that my version of Trey wouldn't be like that when he was a kid, but he became more quiet after what happened with Mrs. Roseheats. So, my Trey would've felt so guilty for the humiliation his parents and Riddle had gone through, that he started believing it wasn't worth speaking out anymore, so he simply stopped speaking much ever since that day, he became super obedient too, and that's also part of the reason why he let Riddle continue with his awful behavior

My version of Trey would still be great a baking, and it would be a surprise factor for a lot of people, since he doesn't look like the type of guy who'd bake, (in my head Deuce even confused him for a delinquent, which couldn't be farther from what my Trey actually is lol) I think it'd be a fun detail to add... Also, I'm so sorry, but I'm taking away the Trey liking tooth brushing as a hobby... LIKE IM SORRY WDYM. THAT IS NOT A HOBBY DUDE. WHAT😭😭😭 My Trey is still interested in this very niche thing, maybe he even wants to be a dentist instead of continuing on with the bakery, but it's nowhere near the same level... His hobby could simply be baking itself

“Is the moon still in love with the sun?” I whispered into the empty room, the tears on my face running onto the pillow.

The moonlight splayed itself across the floor of my bedroom from my balcony. The sheer curtains gladly let it pass by, welcoming it in, even.

I'd wondered about it for years. Did he love me as much as he vowed he did, on that wonderful day we were joined in holy matrimony? Did he lie to me? Was it all a lie?

Was I ever truly his sunrise? His dawn? His sun?

The daylight to his moonlight?

If I was, then why had he disappeared? Why did he vanish without a trace? Why did he leave me?

Two years, and I wasn't the same as I used to be.

Two years after having returned to my home kingdom. A disgraced princess. An “almost queen.”

They could throw all the names they wanted at me. They could call me whatever they wanted. I knew in my heart that I loved him. That I was faithful. That I never would've abandoned him.

And he still disappeared. He still left. No one knew what happened to him.

I rose from my bed and crossed the room, unlocking the doors to the balcony and pulling them open to step out onto it.

The night air was biting, and seeped in through my thin nightgown. I braved the chill and laid my hands on the cold stone barrier, leaning against it, looking up at the moon.

The moon. Where my prince had believed to had come from. That he was a moondrop, a gift from the gods.

“My dear moonlight,” I whispered, “Please return to me. I want nothing more than to be in your arms again.”

The tears flowed down my cheeks again. The wind blew against my face and made me shiver.

“I don't know where or why you've gone. Most days, I don't care. All I want is for you to come home safe. For my husband to return to me.”

“I'm so sorry, my sunrise.”

I whirl around and my eyes meet his. My love. My husband. I heard his voice, I saw his face.

A hallucination? I blinked, and he remained. He remained, standing as he always did. Like a royal, proper prince would.

With not a scratch on him.

I ran forward and threw myself into his arms, hugging him tighter than I ever had before. He held me tight, and I never felt so safe.

My husband. My love. My moonlight.

“You're here,” I sobbed. I could hear him whimper.

“I'm here,” he repeated.

He was here. He'd returned to me. After so long, he'd returned to me when I needed him most. When I was beginning to think he never would. When I was wondering if he ever loved me.

I lifted my head and held his cheek. Again, not a single scratch on him. No scars, no markings. His skin was as clear as it could've been.

“My moonlight, where have you been?” I wiped his tears with my thumb, and he held my hand as he leaned against it.

Normally, I'd be demanding answers and making him tell me who the hell he thought he was disappearing for two years without a word to anyone. To me, his family, his kingdom.

But when he closed his gorgeous moonlit eyes and kissed my hand, his face crumpling in another sob, I couldn't bring myself to demand anything of him.

I pulled him closer as I reached up, and he met me in the middle in a sweet, loving kiss. Euphoria bloomed in my veins as his lips pressed against mine, stars exploded behind my eyes. I realized then how bad I craved his touch.

When he pulled back, his lips hovered above mine, and his eyes looked into mine. He reached out to hold my face as well, cradling the back of my head and side of my face. I gratefully leaned into it.

“I'm so sorry I left you, my dawn,” he whispered. “I won't ever leave without telling you.”

“Why did you leave at all?” I croaked out, my throat closing up.

Grief washed over his face. Dread rolled around in the pit of my stomach.

I wasn't prepared for any of the words he said next.

“I returned to the moon.”

So after all of that I realized that the both of them had started to spend more time together. Colour me shocked when I heard that Professor Carl would be joining us on our trip to Pettman Island.

After spying on them for awhile, it's actually very easy to see how in love they are with each other lol. They tried to hide it yes, but often times I'll see him look at her with a face full of longing. It almost hurts to look at him honestly, there's not much he can do to hide his true feelings. So, picture it: a Christmas vacation with Hongjoong in any country you choose, and you're in the finest luxury suite they have, because it's only the best quality for his love. You're touring the local hot spots and you're so so busy exploring the sights, and Hongjoong is ready to do all you'd like, but he just can't seem to get you alone. Anything you do involves other people. Touring the sites? It's with a guide and a group. Heading out for a drive? It's with a chauffeur. Going to dinner? It has to be at the fancy restaurant hotel instead of room service. And he's getting a little impatient. He doesn't mind those things, but he just wants some alone time with his baby. And when you're coming back from dinner, he starts to tell you how he feels, but before he can, a man passes you by.

As he passes, you catch a whiff of his cologne. "Excuse me, but your cologne smells amazing." The man smiles, giving you a quick once over before thanking you and continuing on his way. When you turn back, you don't realize that was Hongjoong's last straw. As you take the elevator back to your room, you notice he is unusually quiet. He doesn't say anything as you walk into the room until the door is closed. Grabbing you by the waist, he gently lays you back on the bed, before hovering over you and trapping you with his arms. You're suddenly surrounded by him; his presence, his body, his scent. He floods your senses. He trails his hand slowly over the skin of your throat as he speaks. "Sweetheart, I love that you're enjoying our trip so much. But don't you think I deserve some of your time? Hm? We haven't been alone since we got here, and I'm honestly kind of upset with you."

You're barely paying attention, since all you can focus on is the way he smells. The scent of his cologne is making your brain short circuit; you're reminded of past nights spent in his arms, and you can feel yourself slipping into the heated memories and the absolute need that they bring with them. Hongjoong noticed your eyes glazing over, and he smirked before tapping your cheek. "I can see it won't be too hard to make you forget all about that other guy." Your brows furrow in confusion as you ask him who he means, and he laughs. "Like I said, easy. Spread your legs for me, love."

katelyn and lucinda met in middle school and have had a weird love/hate relationship since

cadenza, kiki, and zoey live in a neighborhood close to the main cast

nana goes by [kandi/honey/sugar] not kawaii chan (there was no way i was keeping that stupid nickname. havent picked which nickname shed go by)

aphmau loves dating sims and got katelyn and nana hooked on them too

nana is actually a magicks user just like in mcd

she uses her little maids to do her chores around the house (katelyn and aphmau hate her for it)

aphmau had a fnaf hyperfixation and infected the entire group with it

aside from nana, who hates anything even remotely spooky

during halloween on mystreet, aaron has dressed up as ghostface

everyone lost their minds

aside from aphmau and katelyn, who laughed at everyone losing their minds

nana actually has an intense fear of relationships which is why she obsesses over other people's relationships because she romanticizes them in her head

garroth, despite also being of the fruity variety, is the friend who buys anything rainbow and gives it to his gay friends

laurence has been and will continuously be the main victim of this

garroth also has no idea what a lot of the flags mean despite everyone reminding him

katelyn has bpd

and he frequently wears crop tops to show it off too

travis is a lil sleepy guy. if hes not doing something important, you can and often will find him curled up snzzing

and we love him for it

aaron is the friend that carries around shit for his friends

specific stim toys for specific people (chewables and clicky keyboards for aphmau, a puzzle ball for zane, soft weighted plushies for nana)

aphmau has two long, jagged, faded lines on her back that she was born with. they look like were once deep scars

but theyve never went away and only seemed to have gotten bigger??

while not a big practicer of the craft, travis seems to be really good with witchcraft and magicks

no one knows what his magicks is though because both lucinda and nana have said it feels off

aphmau used to scare zane in a weird way. which is why (aside from just hating everyone and everything) he avoided her for so long before they got close

Sinnoh Gym Leader Headcanons Pt 1:

Roark:

- has a, dare i say, “rocky” relationship with his father. originally his father wanted riley to take over orebourgh’s gym, but since he rejected it roark was his second choice. he’s still kind of bitter over it and likes to rebel. (i.e “my dad told me not to do this” *does the thing directly after*)

- every fossil that the other miners find is double-checked by roark because he knows his shit.

- when he was in orebourgh trainer’s school he would be that kid moaning in the back of his class bc he thinks that’s peak comedy. also because he knows it’ll piss his dad off.

Gardenia:

- gardenia can interact with fantina’s ghosts without crying, and that’s it. one time, she tried to interact with cynthia’s spiritomb. it took the elite four and cynthia thirty minutes to calm the girl down.

- yes she loves plants but she’s also a piercer hear me out she can definitely do piercings she’d be that girl that gives other girls piercings in the school bathroom.

- is eterna’s local weed dealer. not as good as morty’s shit, but volkner tells her she’s getting there. cynthia definitely knows but looks the other way.

Maylene:

- maylene had her first kiss with aaron at age seven, as they were childhood friends. they both exclaimed “ew!” as soon as their lips touched.

- her mom left her when she was twelve bc of her dad’s gambling problem. her dad was never home which left her in the care of her grandmother. she’s angry over this. so, so angry. but cynthia tells her one day that she herself was raised by her grandmother, too – and look at her now: sinnoh’s champion. this inspires maylene to train harder.

- it was rumored in veilstone that maylene’s hands were made of pure steel which is why she could punch so hard. one time as if to prove this rumor, flint asked her to punch him in the stomach as hard as she could. the league had to shut down for the day as flint recovered in the hospital. it was awkward to explain to the doctors and nurses as to what happened. no, flint did not want to press charges but he’s terribly embarrassed. aaron tried to warn him, so he figures he deserved this outcome.

Crasher Wake:

- wake did wrestling shows that were in the style of a drama (think, WWE) and would come up with the most outrageous storylines.

- was the kid that beat up bullies at his trainer’s school bc “two against one isn’t fair” and, “pick on someone your own size.”

- frequently challenges byron and fantina to a drinking contest after gym hours, and he almost always loses. but when he wins, he’ll throw his hands up, and then promptly pass out.

Fantina:

- when she was ten, she marched up to her parents and told her that she wanted to be called “fantina” from now on. her parents welcomed their daughter with open arms.

- is Kalosian, which according to the sinnoh league members would explain why she can hold her liquor so well. she usually comes out on top in those drinking contests between wake and byron.

- is the most widely known coordinator around the world. you could go to an island with no electricity and the children and elders knew the name “fantina dumont.” if you were fortunate enough to go to one of her shows, you would see paramedics on standby because when she sent out her Drifblim a few people would pass out in awe, not fright.

Byron:

- before he married his wife: byron shot his friend in the ass with a BB gun by accident, went to hoenn with his buddies and they got kicked out from every single bar by staging fights so they wouldn’t have to pay for drinks, and swam from johto to kanto after he and his friends flipped a police car and were being chased. he drops random stories like this at league meetings and everyone stares in bewilderment – including his own son because what the hell dad wdym you dropped acid with the champion of Unova once???

- occasionally stars as a guest in one of wake’s wrestling shows. they play lovers having a quarrel before wake tackles the shit out of him.

- during canalave’s yearly pride parade he is the one giving dad hugs because “even when i was a kid, men have always had men… y’know, i had a buddy once, back in the mines… and he was a little off to the side, but he was damn good with a pickaxe. had a beer with his husband once.”

Candice:

- snowpoint city in the sinnoh region is known as the “home of the yodelers.” on top of being the gym leader, candice is the best damn yodeler that snowpoint has ever seen.

- she also had a reputation as a little girl for throwing snowballs at visitors from another region before declaring sinnoh was the best.

- if you want gossip, candice will spill all the details. she knows everything about everyone. no one is more up to speed about who’s-sleeping-with-who, who-cheated-on-who, and how Stacy Cambridge from her trainer school definitely got a nose job and yes, it’s definitely noticeable. no one really asks for her gossip, but she blabs it at the league meetings anyway.

Volkner:

- smokes a pack of cigarettes a day. one time to be cheeky at a league meeting he lights one up, therefore cynthia threw him out – which was what he wanted so thank you cynthia.

- has been on so many fucking antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds throughout his life that he’s basically an expert on them. a lot of the younger gym leaders and elites (i.e gardenia, aaron, candice, roark, and maylene) are depressed and/or anxious and lets them know his own experiences with meds.

- when he was a kid, though he wasn’t a sunyshore hoodlum, he did learn how to use a pocket knife. not that he ever needed it since he had a pikachu to thunderbolt the motherfuckers if he wanted to.

He would do great as a classics person I feel (meaning here the study of ancient Greece and Rome, because that is a really ambiguous name to give a study area, but here we are I don’t make the rules). I’ve said plenty about the parallels you can draw with him and the Iliad before, and Loveless absolutely does give me ancient epic vibes, and specifically homeric epic vibes with the themes and the character of the goddess. And if I may go into lore speculation mode for a second, the Cetra do give me the ancient Greece kinda vibe in some ways, so it would be cool if that was the role they played to Gaian society like greece/rome is for us, and with how little of it there is and the whole freaking out over a couple new lines that got discovered (oof that’s a weirdly structured sentence)! So I am pinning my fellow classics major pin on him, he would love the classes I’ve been in which are solely dedicated to reading and discussing a specific text like that especially. He would so be the type of person to walk up to your discussion of the Odyssey or smth and be like “well actually it’s more complex than that bc the greeks’ society was based off this thing called xenia” and procede to lecture you on greek culture with the greek words that don’t translate quite right thrown in all the time lol (haha I would never do this wdym). I actually did have the idea for my thesis in my Greek Gods class that was very much inspired by him—I’m studying sorta the relationships between warriors and poetry in ancient epic

But he would not stop at just one, he is so extra lmao—I could also definitely see him being an english major. And I won’t say theater major exactly because I feel like he would he the exact flavor of english major my uni used to have that I have been told stories of where they had this weird rivalry with the theater department lmao—the eng department would put on productions of Shakespeare, and every department would usually have a decent amount of rep with showing up at the performances, except. Most notably. The theater department, because they were salty that anyone besides them got to put on Shakespeare. The petty energy of that is so Genesis to me, whichever side of that he would he on—although I do tend to lean towards the english side of that for him because he loves analyzing the work so much

ive been writing nostalgic chill for like a year at this point (posting it for half of that) and im genuinely so surprised how many people are only now clocking that im the author! even though my ao3 username is. almost identical save for one letter, but maybe thats a thing one overlooks when lost in the sauce.

im full of hinaegi thoughts and i really need to share them rn ..

FIRST, people don't talk nearly enough about the natural connection hajime and makoto have with each other, like in the 6th trial, where junko puts that fake makoto here, the others seem to be weirded out by makoto but they don't really know what, and even then they still refer to him by makoto, like sonia saying "makoto? what has happened to you?" but hajime literally says "I knew it.." and "Just as i thought.. There's something wrong with you!" he never says like, this guy is crazy, or that they shouldnt trust him, he clearly says a lot of times that there IS something wrong with him! at some point he even stops refering to junko's 'makoto' by name, it's funny, he only talked to the real makoto for some seconds before the class trial, but he still chose to believe that makoto over the fake one junko literally put in front of them, and it's because of that he discovered his contradictions.

there's also how they both bond a lot in some side events about both being really "common" and i honestly think they would serve as big comfort to one another, i believe even tho hajime would often feel like makoto is way better than him, he would also try to believe how makoto comforts him and says that he is capable of everything. and makoto, i believe he would really look up to hajime without a single ounce of shame now that he saw the real hajime and how much he has grown, but at the same time he would try to be a nice inspiration for hajime after everything that happened in the neo world.

NOW DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THEIR ULTIMATE HOPE PARALLELS, makoto getting his title for defeating junko enoshima, for being himself, for being so so optimistic in a broken world and in the middle of so much chaos, he was a simple dude that became the ultimate hope for being himself, makoto naegi. while hajime got his ultimate hope title when he became izuru, when he stopped being himself.

ALSO, OFFICIAL ARTS, WHY THEY SO DAMN CLOSE ALL THE TIME 🙄 and that wheres just the two of them, YOU CANT TELL ME HAJIME IS NOT PETTING MAKOTO'S HEAD . LOOK AT RHAT

also, hajime in the 6th class trial saying "To prove whether that Makoto Naegi is real or not.... I'm gonna shove *that* in his face!" wdym by that hajime?

The part where he recognised instantly that there's something wrong with the fake Makoto instantly made me kicks my feet. I think despite Hajime's skepticalism on the real Makoto he talked to before the last trial, he just instantly knew how Makoto is from then, Makoto's way of speech is just so.. normal and he just radiates that harmless, safe aura. No matter how skilled Junko is in acting she can't really completely copy the real Makoto.

And the "common" part is so true!!! It's cause both used to be ordinary people, that they feel more comfortable despite not knowing eachother as much from before. Again, one missed and one regreted of the lost of normalcy they have before. Perhaps together, Hajime could finally appriciated and grateful of the normal life he could have had, while Makoto can still have the normalcy in his life (aside from komaru) despite the condition and his responsibility, not all was lost.

And the official art!!!! I have them in my grasp irl, that 512 pages DR1.2 reload book where half of them filled with DR1 and 2 official arts, I have them in my grasp, the way they look at eachother head in hands, they were so very close and when I first opened it I wonder if they have that in the book and there they are!!! I was so estatic!!!
