Before we call anon rude because let’s see it from their perspective, imagine getting an entire feast to eat. That can be pretty hard to start with so much that’s going on, but if they start with one thing they know they’ll like (aka one character they like) that can be the start for them leaping to other characters to finish the story and the bigger story. I struggle the same way to start book series if I don’t have at least one character that drives me to read it, it’s all about what can be the hook to push them through. Sounds like the anon is neurodivergent (just a guess) so they might genuinely not see it as rude and see it as a solution to even play the game to start with.

Btw absolutely adore the game, the complex and rich characters making them all so unique is amazing. The art is so pleasing to the eyes I love it!! I’m waiting for it all to get out at once so I don’t get too impatient. Shae however interests me the most, which routes will have the most lore for them? Will there be routes that give more lore in general based on decisions you make or do they all share the same amount? (I mean general lore not just Shae lore)

Apologies; we are not trying to accuse any asker of being rude! We are simply explaining our perspective as the developers / are trying to broadly encourage folks to dip their toes into other areas of the story outside of the main route(s) they're interested in, especially considering some routes will be made available sooner than others, and these other routes will likely contain additional scenes/lore of everyone's fave(s) regardless! We want to give each main cast member an equal amount of love (and lore) regardless of their overall popularity, so our goal is not to tut-tut anyone for having strong preferences for one character over the others, but rather to explain that you may be surprised by how much *more* you learn about your preferred characters in the other routes. That's all!

For Shae... Well, they were a foot soldier for one of the worst periods of the War. Lore wise, any other story that touches on the War will likely have content relevant to them and their experiences. ^^

i made this blog 1 year ago today and it was my first ever venture into rp so really i had no idea what to expect but what i found was so much openness, love, & encouragement that i really don't know if i can express how it makes me feel!!!! this community has really opened me up so much to my own creativity and taught me to think more about the world & about storytelling, the stories i want to tell, how i want to tell them. andie has grown so important to me and it blows me away how important she is to some of you too!!! truly the love i've received is overwhelming 😭 she teaches me everyday. everyone here is so kind and i have so much fun with you. there's an incredible amount of talent and joy in all of the people i've met, so much creativity, detail, color. it's an honor getting to get to know everyone and to have fun w you all. literally this has filled my days with such joy and thoughtfulness i will always always have a positive thought for each of you. you're all my friends & i want to thank you for that and for being encouraging and for sharing all of your brilliance and all your wonderful characters with me it's so much funim so glad to be here with you. even if we don't talk a lot seeing your posts on my dash or sharing silly comments with each other is what makes my day bright. i love silly sweet interactions!!! Personally I think a lot of opinions about which Monster Hunter games are "good" and which are "bad" just comes from people failing to recognize that Monster Hunter has two different mainline lineages going at this point, each of which are supposed to emphasize different aspects of the series and create a more distinct experience between them to make it more worth experiencing both. And some people won't like both lines! That's ok! It doesn't mean they're bad, it just means the style of that line isn't for you.

That was more of a generalized reference to “humans are weird” fiction, but now that I think about it, I did write a few other things in that general ballpark.

There were the genetically-engineered intoxicants in Starseed Apples, and the intoxicating effects of caffeine in Not Special (Parts One and Two). A can of tuna gets used as a table hockey puck in Talking Sports.

And this food item in question isn’t a real food, but I feel like I should include the prank in What’s a Minor Heart Attack Between Friends?

Woah dang, waking up to 99+ notifs on tumblr almost always means that an old Homestuck piece is going around again... imagine my delighted surprise to see it was all notifs about Soli! That was a great thing to wake up to. Felt an actual flutter in my chest. Thank you so much, everyone! And apologies for how Elias' hair keeps subtly changing. You always kind of figure out exactly how a character looks and how to draw them as you go along with sequential art. It, funny enough, largely comes from figuring out their acting (so lots and lots of different angles and features that need to shift/change slightly to carry the weight of looking like they should feel, for lack of a better way to describe it ) At any rate, glad to see people are excited for chapter 3! next update will be next week, and will be a two page spread.

So I went to Pride for the first time in probably 20 years. It was a lot of fun and I got to see and meet some super nice people. Must admit I cried a bit while walking around because I haven't been able to live openly as my authentic self for a long time. It felt incredibly freeing to just walk among people who I knew wouldn't judge me for who I am and who I love.

But I mostly had an amazing time because I was invited to hang out with my friends. @ashleyrguillory and her wife are incredible artists and absolute stand up human beings. It was so cool to see their booth and watching people praise their art. Love them so much.

This was my corgi's outfit for Pride. I love his rainbow collar and the hearts shirt matched it perfectly.

I had a feeling he'd be popular but literally watching someone scream/squeal "OMG IS THAT A CORGIIIIIIII?" as they dashed over was pretty fun. I also think he was mind melding with people so they'd stop in their tracks and come over. 🤣🤣🤣 I am very happy to report that he did really well even with large groups of people and noise. He got spoiled with so much loving and treats!

And I picked up my favorite item from my friends' table...a "Be Gay Solve Crime" Benoit Blanc sticker from Knives Out! Look how dapper Benoit looks! They also had all their amazing Star Wars merchandise of which my favorite is the rainbow X-Wing pin!

Everyone was so kind and enthusiastic. The music was great and the weather was absolutely perfect to party outside. I'm definitely looking forward to next year! 🏳️‍🌈💖🥰
