jealous web-slinger x reader

Summary: web-slinger is jealous of spider-cat…..

Lately, you’ve been spending a lot of your time with Spider-Cat. You've been giving the cat kisses, feeding it, cuddling with him, petting him and letting it sleep on you. Spider-cat was always with you. Though someone wasn’t happy with this, Your boyfriend Peter Parker aka web-Slinger....

You guys were in the cafeteria. Web-slinger would’ve sat right beside you but Spider-cat would hiss at him if he got close to you, so he had to sit across the table. Web-slinger has been glaring at the cat for a while. The cat was in your arms. That should have been him instead. you were carrying him like a baby. He was purring loudly, You were feeding him. Web-slinger would question himself why hasn't Spider-cat hiss at you, he usually hisses at people and wants to be alone.

Web-slinger is mad at you because you would love that thing more than him? Plus he has Widow(his horse) why don't you love Widow as much as you love Spider-cat? He’s confused. “So uh... Are you ever gonna let go of that cat?” he said. You looked up at him confused “What do you mean?”. “Honey you've been carrying that cat like a damn baby the whole day” “But I can't help it look at him” You picked up Spider-Cat And held your arms out to show your boyfriend. “See?.... Look at him,” you said excitedly. Your boyfriend let out a sigh.

Web-slinger was making eye contact with the cat and was glaring at him. *Shockingly* the cat started to glare back. “Are you glaring at the cat right now hun?” you couldn't see that the cat was glaring back at your boyfriend. “W-what?... No of course not honey... That's crazy talk, I'm not jealous of a cat” “ I didn't say if you were jealous hun... Are you?” looking at him. “Like I said I'm not jealous honey. So how come you don't show this kind of love to me or Widow?”

“Well widow is yours and spider-cat is mine and he's just so cute.” “Honey he can take care of himself he’s a Spider-Man, just please let him go”“Fine” you let go spider-cat, he seemed sad when you let him go once he was walking away he turned and glared at your boyfriend. Your boyfriend was looking back at him and smirking under his bandana. “You know” you start off saying making your boyfriend look at you “you could've told me that you were jealous of Spider-cat, I would’ve hung out with you instead” “Fine, I admit I was jealous of him” you smiled and got up from your seat and sat next to him. “I like it when you’re jealous… especially from a cat” “Now will you cuddle with me?”.....

“Web-Slinger was one of the most fun assignments I had. Spent months exploring all kinds of different cowboys and cowgirls until we settled on something a bit more classic. This is one of the characters I spent a lot of time getting the details right. With Widow the details were really important. I spent a ton of time doing research, and asking several friends who had been riding for their whole lives so i could understand everything I could about saddle construction. A lot of of job is highlighting details so it translates.” — Kris Anka

what is the premise for your spidey x deadpool cowboy fic? it sounds super interesting <3

thank you so much, how nice of you to say! there's obviously a little summary on the ao3 page, but the set-up for the story goes as follows:

wade wilson, a jaded mercenary with a miserable past, is hailed the spirit of the west, a destructive, chaotic force that moves from town to town, killing plenty and loving none, all motives unclear except for the monetary ones. one day, he’s hired to kill curtis connors and his team, a group of scientists creating a so-called cure out of venom of a spider they cant find, for fifty-thousand dollars. he accepts— it’s easy money. or so he thinks. 

peter parker is a depressed sharpshooter recovering from his shitshow of a marriage living in san antonio with dreams of becoming a zoologist like his late father, following the success of doctor connors’ team from afar. when he discovers the spider’s probable location and tracks it down, he’s hired, and moves to san fransisco to finally make something of himself. sharpshooting on the side for a little extra cash and befriending wade, a strange but endearing man, he thinks all his dreams are coming true. 

until his fellow scientists start dying, wade goes missing, and connors reveals their new test subject— deadpool. when peter puts two and two together and realizes that the mercenary is awfully familliar, he begs him not to escape before running away after he’s bit by one of the spiders. as peter transforms, he realizes that he’s effectively doomed wade, and, so that none of his coworkers recognize him, disguises himself to rescue wade. 

armed with new powers and the ability to finally make a difference, peter is desperate to stop connors from corrupting the frontier with this dangerous bio-weapon and to expose his project for what it actually is. betrayed after believing peter set him up, wade is determined to finish what he started and kill not just connors, but peter, too. reluctantly enamored by the stumbling, nameless mutant that crashed through a laboratory to save him, wade decides that since they’re heading the same way, they might as well be partners.
