When Mabel comes out to Stan, she’s really scared that he’s going to reject her and have an issue with it, so she’s emotional and asks him if he still loves and supports her and he’s just like “??? Kid I’ve been telling you all summer I’m one of the LBTGs” and then it’s her turn to be like “wait what??” because she thinks he had never mentioned a sexuality before, and it turns out Stan had been constantly telling the kids that he’s “ambidextrous” because he thought it meant the same thing as bisexual.

I lie awake every night thinking about how Rowena and Eileen were supposed to be bisexual... literally agonizing to think about how they cut out the scene of Charlie mentioning that she hooked up with Rowena and the deleted scene where Eileen is like nah dude i get why you kissed Velma cause same

She’s his sidekick, he’s her dad, she’s his mentor, he’s her best friend. They’ve known each other for a few days, they’ve spent their whole lives looking for each other, he sees her, she understands him, they’re flawed, they’re perfect, they don’t need anyone, but it’s the two of them choosing each other against the world that betrayed them.

Everything about The Owl House finale was spectacular and I loved it so much, but one smaller thing I enjoyed was that they continued in the She-Ra tradition of affirming all their gay couples and having them kiss in the finale while having their male-female relationship (though obvs Huntlow is queer too) be left technically ambiguous

You guys know the trope with the sunshine
and the grumpy one,
where the grumpy one sometimes shows his soft and smiley side because of/with the sunshine one?
(not interested my ass, look at how adorably excited Tommy looks when they decide to give it another chance)
I really love their golden retriever and sarcastic/pessimistic dynamic...
The first time they met Tommy literally said "we're probably all gonna die anyway" and Buck decided to maul his best friend for him

"queer people didn't exist in the 18th century, and especially not in the royal families" ...
Isabella of Bourbon-Parma
married to Joseph II, Holy Roman Emperor in 1760 to 1763 while simultaneously being in an affair with his sister until her own death in '63 Maria Christina, Duchess of Teschen. quotes of various letters she dedicated to her lover:
“I am told that the day begins with God. I, however, begin the day by thinking of the object of my love, for I think of her incessantly.”
“My consolation, I am madly in love with you, virtuously or diabolically, I love you and I will love you to the grave.”

Zoro comes to learn, after years of living together and fighting besides eachother, that Sanji loves in a quiet way. The flirting and the worshiping he does is mostly part of a persona he puts up, and also to make the girls laugh. When Sanji's in love he's.... Softer, gentle. He didn't really notice at first, thought that both of them had just mellowed out as they grew older, but waking up to Sanji brushing the swordsman hair with his fingers, smiling that little smile he only has when he's really proud of something, Zoro realizes that Sanji's quiet love is something he couldn't live without.
(Nami: so, explain to me again how you didn't realize you were married to Sanji for the past uhh let me thiink fucking decade?!!!
Zoro: how was I supposed to know that?!!?
Nami: YOU SLEEP IN THE SAME BED! YOU STARTED WAKING EARLY TO MAKE HIM COFFEE AND KEEP HIM COMPANY!!
Zoro: THAT'S- okay, well, I just wanted to help him-
Nami: YOU KISS HIM. ON THE LIPS. WITH TONGUE.
Zoro: YOU DO THAT TO VIVI TOO! THAT'S JUST NORMAL NAKAMA STUFF
Nami: normal nakama- I'M MARRIED TO VIVI YOU FUCKING IDIOT
A little further from them, Sanji and Vivi are just sipping tea.
Sanji: so how long did it take for Nami to realize she was married to you?
Vivi: oh like 7 years, she thought we were best friends for at least 5 tho)

Something something about Tommy ending up at HARBOUR and getting to be his true and full self. Now he’s doing the same for Buck - providing him with a harbour - a safe space for him to find himself and figure things out.
The water theming continues to send me spiralling
