I've been having this thought rattling in my brain for a while. I think i might of posted on this already but I wanna say more.

Reverse-Isekai but the other world is at a different scale from the base world. Where both sides have humans, but one side just has.... bigger ones. Maybe they're more magically resistant or inclined, maybe they're fluffy. But fundamentally they're both basically the same.

I've been using Genshin Impact in uh.... rps with certain bots... to help flesh out the idea and round it out because I was pretty embarrassed about it before. But... this is Tumblr. You can post this sorta shit on Tumblr and if it's dogshit no one will see it.

But to put it simply when I do the lil rp shenanigans, I usually have it be a partial merge where the Teyvatian government has at least partial control of most of earth for several factors

Mora is made out of pure metal, it's more pure than basically any earth currency

Gods. No amount of rich fuckery can go against a god. Morax may be in retirement, but he's still probably gonna whoop the assess of anything that becomes too big of a problem for his nation to deal with on his own

The scale of Teyvat being 1|3 (one foot in Teyvat scale is equivalent to a yard in earth scale) means that they'd easily produce more food than any place on earth, and more materials. That alone would disrupt so much of the world market

Earth humans would be cat-sized to them and uniquely vulnerable to magic since no exposure nor evolution to protect themselves from it.

It would be really easy for Teyvats to kidnap them. And for the wildlife of Teyvat to kill the average human. Plus, I'm like... 70% sure that nukes won't work on Teyvat.

Basically, to put it simply, they'd be "superior" in pretty realistic ways...

Imagine in Mondstadt, if you will, a bunch of crates bolted down in one of the alley ways in order to make temporary housing for the Earthlings till they build actual housing for them. College towns on earth having portals set up to the Akademiya (I spelled that wrong probably but you know what I mean) and having college Teyvatians take trips to the various college towns and seeing the systematic strain. Having the different kinds of Teyvatian language be core languages taught in schools... plus the ongoing human trafficking and breeding of Earthlings like dogs for the appeal and for illegal shows

Plus, Teyvat having to confront and question why like... none of their allogenes are brown and colored when they see media depicting mostly white heros and stuff in earth media. Having both sides confront the reality that despite their differences, they both have similar issues of racism. Just for Teyvatians, it goes higher up.

Also I think Mavukia would whoop the assess of the folks who designed her region white once she learns about the cultures that inspired it

Anyways here's the height comparison chart I made real quick of the various primary gods compared to the average human heights (male and female)

I’m unhappy.

This is gonna be the last time I say something about this so I don’t sound like a broken record player but this is gonna have all my thoughts I’ve been having recently about Adam, this fandom and so on.

First, I want it to be known that everything said here doesn’t apply to everyone and that a lot of this is built up frustration that’s reached a point where I cannot stay silent anymore. This stuff is supposed to be fun, I shouldn’t care so much and yet here I am.

I love writing Adam. I’ve always loved it and I still do now but I’m upset with how he’s treated and some of that blame falls to me, I understand that. I don’t like pushing boundaries, I don’t like making people uncomfortable and I try to remain realistic and balanced to everything that I do when it comes to RP. And maybe it’s because of that approach I’m in this position because I feel that many abuse that and see my character/characters as something to use in order to bolster the superiority of their own muses.

It’s the worst when it comes to Adam. I feel like most interactions boil down to making him or both muses miserable or antagonistic prodding between muses that go no where. I feel like I’m at a point where if Adam even breathes he’ll be ridiculed or scoffed at. He can’t tell a harmless joke without it being taken offensively, he can’t make any kind of comment about anyone at all ever because once again, it’d be scrutinized and go beyond banter.

If I allow him to get angry and lash out, he’s in the wrong. If I don’t let him get angry and lash out he’s in the wrong. No matter what he does, he’s in the wrong and the people I had to talk to about these things and relate to that no longer relate or don’t talk about it and that sucks. So it just feels suffocating and like a constant air of doom at all times no matter what interaction I have. Like a ticking time bomb that at any point, even if it’s a nice thread, it’ll go to the wayside.

It’s hard to come on here and feel like I’m walking on a thin line or that I need to be the one to change the direction a thread is headed or put in the effort to keep a thread from dropping because how many times do you think I’m willing to do a thread that goes

Someone: *You’re awful and you should feel bad.*

Adam: *Cool*

Like. This isn’t fun and makes me feel secluded to the point where I cannot muster the strength to send asks to people who I know like my muse let alone people who are new/have a certain negative dynamic.

I put so much time and effort to make a muse that could be agreeable, that could make you question moralities and junk like that but it feels like more and more each day people are here to just get a one up on Adam and that’s it. Im tired.

Im sad that when there’s like a mini thing going on with Adam that requires help from outside support, he’s let down by those who can help but choose not to (This is based off IC interactions by people who were participating not those who didn’t see/didn’t want to participate.) it was to the point where people who didn’t meet certain criteria to help considered making new muses to help which is nice and I fully appreciate it so much but the fact that it needed to get to that point in the first place is just… Sad. Idk how to properly explain it.

Unholy Crusade took a massive toll on me as an Adam RPer, it took a toll on a lot of people but it messed me up and I think that’s where a lot of this stems from. Starting that with a poly only to end up abandoned by said poly and having to deal with feeling excluded, neglected and abandoned really messed up my feelings with the verse. I love it, I love the conclusions people had but the road to get there was such a painful journey that is not recoverable and has had rippling effects throughout how my muse treats relationships, group verses and more.

I don’t really have much more to say other than small knit picking things. I’m just exhausted playing a character that is just doomed either by his own actions or actions done by others for the sake of self gratification.

Im sorry to anyone if I forced my muse onto you where he wasn’t welcomed. Im sorry if our RPing experience has made you feel uncomfortable/upset/hurt or any other negatives. It’s not my goal, I’d hate to do to someone else what I feel is being done to me.

Going forward, I’m gonna still be RPing off and on with verses I’m comfortable with and muses I’m comfortable interacting with. I’m gonna be aiming to staying away from dash comms and all that. I won’t be taking a break or announcing a hiatus or anything because I still want to interact but I just needed to vent. I needed to get this out. Even if this is all just a byproduct of my own doing or depression or anything else. This is where my head is at, this is how I feel, I don’t want anyone to change their character for me, I don’t want anyone to do anything special for me I just want people to be conscious of how much shit they’re throwing my way or anyone’s way.

It’s one thing to want and love angst all the time but it’s another to do angst and have 0 recovery through it or expect only angst out of the other person.

I know this is all a mess of paragraphs and feelings but it’s the best I can really do right now. If you made it this far, thank you, I appreciate you reading my words and I hope you have a good day.

Although I must say that we have met before -- I transferred to your school (the name of which I will refrain from mentioning) some time ago and questioned a few people about a friend of mine, including you. Believe me, I would not have committed your name and face to memory if it weren't for the fact that you are the representative of my class, but it would be hard to forget you considering the fact that I see you every morning. I hope that you and I should get along pleasantly, though I'll admit that I'm not the most athletic type and I still believe that your "keep going till you drop" attitude could be very dangerous if you do not take other people's limits into account. Pushing yourself can be important for self-improvement but may be harmful in many cases, especially to those who have physical disabilities!

Hello! Depending on the time zone of whoever is reading this, it could be morning, afternoon, evening or night, so I thought a simple greeting would suffice -- otherwise I would of course have said "good evening". I should also note to myself that not everybody will read this at the same time, so even if time zones were not a problem it could still cause issues to mention a particular time in my introduction. I will try to keep this as concise as possible so as to account for the fact that blocks of text are difficult to read on a screen as well as the unfortunate fact that people's attention spans are decreasing almost by the day. I myself struggle to pay attention to something for a long period of time unless that thing is of particular interest to me, so I understand how necessary it is to keep my words to a minimum. I suppose I should tell you my name here, which as you can see from the title of my blog is Akechi Touma. I won't tell you my age or the name of my school -- disclosing my full name is already a risky decision and revealing anything more would be incredibly an incredibly careless thing to do! While lurking here I've noticed that many of my real-life acquaintances have chosen to share their location as part of their introduction and I must say that I shake my head whenever I see it. Internet safety is no joke, and revealing too much of your personal information online could have serious consequences! Fortunately I am someone who likes to keep things close to my chest, so I am fairly confident that I will be safe from stalkers or predators or anyone else who may wish to do me harm. Speaking of predators, if you do plan on saying anything lewd or "Not Safe For Work" in my inbox then I must ask that you refrain from interacting. I won't hesitate to block those who break this rule as it is one I take very seriously and I simply do not wish to deal with people like that. I sometimes wonder why these people don't have anything better to do, and how sad their life must be if their primary source of entertainment is making strangers uncomfortable over the internet. It's important to remember that those behind a screen are still real people, and your perverted or unkind words can affect them a great deal. That brings me to my second rule, which is that I kindly ask you to refrain from rude or bullying messages in my inbox. That sort of thing is incredibly unkind and can really bring a person's mood down -- although I do try not to let strangers' words affect me too much and have had plenty of experience with rather unpleasant people which has led me to develop a relatively thick skin. This, like the first rule, will result in an instant block if broken -- though I will devise a personal point system for how rude a message must be before I block the person sending it. Sometimes a person can be rude without intending to -- unfortunately people have told me that I tend to fall into this habit myself -- so I will endeavour to be as tolerant as possible. I don't think there are any more rules I need to mention, though if I think of any more I will be sure to add them!

The Acolyte Lin x Officer Tenzin RP

I had a lot of fun with a recent ask and I included Linzin having an acolyte x cop spicy roleplay for them. The vibe was so fun, I wanted to explore this little fantasy of theirs 💜

For those who may not have read some previous posts, Acolyte Lin and Officer Tenzin are just roleplay characters for Linzin lol it's not an AU

Acolyte Lin/Officer Tenzin are the subs to Master Tenzin/Chief Beifong

This sub versions of themselves together in the same roleplay = competition for being the dom

Their alter egos don't like each other lol

Acolyte Lin likes to degrade Officer Tenzin and make him seem inferior to "Master Tenzin"

Officer Tenzin doesn't have much power in the police force and uses Acolyte Lin as his way to have power over someone with seemingly no power

This is the petty versions of themselves

Acolyte Lin (sometimes) won't moan bc Master Tenzin is far superior

Officer Tenzin edges Acolyte Lin to control her (slows his tempo and intensity, stops touching her right when Acolyte Lin is feeling good, etc.)

They'll bicker and throw shade at the other's "background" Example: Officer Tenzin holding Acolyte Lin's neck while he fucks her in the back of a cop car. Lin: Always abusing your power on innocent citizens Tenzin: at least i'm not part of a cult who says "yes" to everything a virgin says!

Because they kinda roast themselves, it gives Lin and Tenzin some personal insight into the institutions they represent. Tenzin wouldn't have really though about how the acolytes and Air Nation could come off as cultish until he had Lin's legs over his shoulders in the back of the RCPD Satomobile.

Spicy RPC Opinion: Morality

I think there is something to be said when someone takes a canon character and completely gets rid of the awful aspects of said character.

I do not understand why people feel the need to feel morally superior that their version of Valentino isn't an abusive pimp that committed sexual assault. I've seen people feel holier than thou for their version of a character not being as terrible as the canon-compliant versions of those characters. It baffles me and while I have had moments I thought that way, I really see how erroneous that way of thinking is.

I also think it's extremely strange and odd to take a character like Abel and completely woobify and infantilize him. While he most likely died young, it's still weird to immediately act like he's a sweet baby boy who could do no wrong just because he was murdered by his brother. Just because he was killed doesn't immediately mean Cain is this all-evil bastard and Abel was just a sweet infantile baby man.

We are in a community where the characters are in hell or are from hell and even the characters in heaven aren't 100% good. If you can't look at a character with a nuanced lense, and write their flaws, why are you writing this character? Characters are going to be homophobic, sexist, and even possibly racist (of course don't actually spew hateful racist rhetoric in the RPC there are like 5 POC in this entire community we get enough shit), you do not have to play a good guy. You are not morally superior for writing Mr. Pimps-a-lot, the moth pimp guy, as not abusive. He is, he's evil. You don't have to write Vox as a not-capitalist white guy, he is. You don't have to write Velvette as a sweet influencer, she's not.

If you are uncomfortable delving into dark topics, that's fine but being judgemental of others who do, or freely write them is incredibly crass behavior and honestly not welcome on my blog.

Discussing dark topics in a completely fictional space where you have the power is healthy, a lot of people cope with RP, you don't know what life the other human behind the screen has had, and you act like you're better than them because your version of a character isn't evil? That isn't the flex you think it is.

Have fun in a community where it takes place in hell and we can talk about these topics, we're not 12, we're all in our 20s to 30s or older. Dark topics have a place here but your negative attitude towards those who write them doesn't.

Yin/Yang in Naruto (2/2)

The case of Madara & Hashirama

If you haven't done it yet read the first part : Yin Yang generality kudos to @shisui-uchiha-rp

The concept is omnipresent in Naruto. This isn't a surprise considering it's strongly attached to the japanese culture which includes both shinto and buddhist elements.

Naruto being a shonen targeting a young male audience, the main cast is masculine and centred around teenage boys' interests : friendship, competition, power scale, war in the shinobi world. In this context, the Yin/Yang is used to define :

implicitly the basic way to knead chakra : 50% physical energy throught training (yang), 50% spiritual energy through meditation (yin)

explicitly in a higher level it defines the chakra nature : Yin release (Inton) and Yang release (Yoton). A good example is Minato being able to split Kyubi's chakra. Interesting to note that he sealed the yang kyubi's chakra in Naruto.

Here it has nothing to do with gender or romantic attraction like majority of female audience falsely assumed (otherwise Naruto would be simply a shojo).

Being more interested by the Founders era let's see how it manifests for Madara and Hashirama.

Chakra Yin/Yang

if you have read the part 1, what Madara's saying will not surprise you

We know through the example of Naruto and Sasuke that the Senju/Uzumaki inherited the Yang release. The Uchiha clan the Yin Release.

Mokuton is a striking demonstration of Yang signature. What is wood release but the concrete manifestation of vitality? It's not conscious, there is no soul in the forest that Hashirama creates but there is a raw and powerful material form.

Madara's signature is the Sharingan and its superior form being the Mangekyou Sharingan and Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Being a Yin release, the sharingan depends on the powerful imagination and the spiritual energy of its possessor. For this reason Sasuke was able to break through Itachi's Mangakyou sharingan with a simple three-tomoe. Sasuke has simply a highest spiritual Yin release that his brother and I'm sure Itachi was aware of it. Being Indra's incarnation just like Madara, his dominance in Yin release was almost fated.

Sharingan disturbs and manipulates perception of time, and space. The internal Yin energy doesn't do any visible damage to opponents, but it's capable of breaking their mind. Sasuke and Kakashi spent few weeks in hospital after encountering Itachi.

This manipulation of perception works as well on the user. For example when they say that Sharingan can read movement. Think about a car passing close to you and you feel like that moment happened in slowmotion. The split second that has just happened wasn't changed but your perception of imminent danger was so high that your brain read a lot of informations in a small amount of time and it has created this ability to slower time. An other example, when you feel like you've seen a ghost in your room, it's usually the power of you imagination to create something in order to explain the phenomenon you've just witnessed (or maybe it's a real ghost👻).

In the same way, Susanoo is the manifestation of destruction. An imaginary God of storm made of chakra. It's not a concrete object like Hashirama's forest or his buddha statue. It disappears as soon as Madara is out of chakra or not able to use it properly, the form can also adapt to an other body when the susanoo became Kyubi's armour. And because the Susanoo is specific to each user, in Madara's case he has 4 arms and two faces. It manifests Madara's unconscious way to counter his weakness : fearing having someone on his back.

I should mention four other powerful ways to use Yin release in the Uchiha :

Kotoamatsukami by Shisui : it's literally mind control. It makes you believe you come up with an idea and use your free will, while absolutely not!

Izanami : I made already a post about Naori saying it's one of the most powerful one because this time it sincerely changes someone's mindset. You have to do your own introspection. Yin is often portrayed as emotional manipulation but originally it's transformation of the soul for improvement.

The rinnegan is interesting because it blurs the limit between Imagination and reality. It reunites both Indra and Ashura's DNA. Like the body and soul that Hagoromo was able to do for creating the bijuus. They are conscious being with a body. Madara missed to understand that, he saw them only like a powerful source of power and didn't recognise their lives, hence the importance of knowing their names. An other way the rinnegan is pushing the limit between reality and dream, Madara sees the limbo zone, Pain was able to access the world of the deads and brought them back, Sasuke can travel in alternative dimensions.

And lastly Madara's infinite Tsukuyomi is also a powerful one by its scale ~the whole world! Note that Madara brought people INSIDE his dream and not the other way around.

Let's go back to the founders. Aside from their power, the whole shinobi career (or let's say public achievement) of both of them reflects how Yin and Yang had an influence in their life.

Hashirama had a successful public life as hokage. His face is literally carved above the village like the sun high in the sky. He's remembered as the only founder of Konoha. We all know his wife Mito, his grandchildren Tsunade and Nawaki. And his students Danzo and Hiruzen. He's also notorious for having transmitted to the village the will of fire. He's the "God of the shinobis", hard to find a better praise.

Madara in the other side had a shinobi life completely coherent with Yin energy. The fact he was one of Konoha's founder and it has been erased from Konoha's memory including Sasuke who's the Uchiha leader's son. He called himself the "Ghost of the Uchiha" What is a ghost but a lost spirit with no more physical body? Most of his life is shrouded in mystery. We don't know his brothers' name except Izuna. This one is still an enigma we don't know much about his relationship with his older brother. Madara's genealogy isn't clearly stated. How are Obito, Itachi and Sasuke really related to him? Sasuke does look like Izuna and his mum Mikoto but adult Sasuke drawn by Kishimoto in Naruto Gaiden looks intentionally exactly like Madara...? Obito with long hair also can pass as Madara in his youth. A big chunk of Madara's past is elusive. If we admit he lost at the Valley of the end in his early 30's and died in his 90's when he met Obito. It means he spent at least 60 years of his life in complete isolation, hidden in his cave, forgotten by all. Also if you remember what I said in part 1 on the Yin's power, Madara is a character that the name only produces fear and trauma cf Kurama, Tobirama, Onoki. His name alone is enough to launch the 4th Shinobi war. He also allowed Obito to use his aura to serve his plan. Madara is really the master of the dark Yin that he uses as a psychological warfare.

But Kishimoto is such a good writer (at least concerning male characters lol). He made their personality more complex and interesting that Naruto as an extravert and Sasuke as an introvert. If we focus on the founders' personal character we see that Madara is actually very yang and Hashirama very yin. Hence why the flashback was such a pleasant surprise. That mysterious Madara is actually a very impulsive and playful character while the God of Shinobi is a moody/unserious man bullied by his little brother to the great disappointment of Suigetsu.

If we have to associate few adjective to see how Madara's character is leaning toward yang let's list them : commanding, takes initiative first, competitive, expansionist, dominant, assertive, prefers to act alone, a big ego, thinks practically, nihilist vision of the world, materialist and disapprove anything not based in facts (discussion with Tsunade about what is power?), has a vertical vision of authority (Iwa's incident)

For Hashirama's traits, he prefers consensus and tries to satisfy everyone (Gokage meeting, accepting democratic election in Konoha), conflict avoidance unless it becomes a life or death situation, under the influence of Tobirama or Madara, visionary about the village but doesn't have practical way to achieve it. He relies on Tobirama to make the dream comes true ex : he didn't know how realistically deal with the Uchiha clans. He has a taste for vain activities like gambling, he may be a drinker too if he's like Tsunade. Generally speaking he's more collective oriented.

And lastly in their private relationship, the relationship with their brothers follow the same logic. We see that in this yin energy in day to day life Hashirama is constantly under his younger brother Tobirama's influence. By the way Tobirama is seen as protecting Hashirama from their father not the other way around. My two cents that his wife Mito helped him being more assertive as an hokage. because it doesn't come for him naturally to lead, to the point that his first thought was to give the leadership to Madara until the village decided otherwise.

In mirror, we can then guess what Madara's relationship was with his brother. The Uchihas are seen as a more traditional than the Senjus. Being the oldest, Madara has been raised most likely to lead and being a protector for his brother. Yet Izuna stopped him from making peace with the Senjus. His young brother might have been Madara's emotional anchor. In moment of crisis he might be the one stabilizing his impulsive side into realistic goals. After his departure, nothing stopped anymore Madara for realising the extravagant Infinite Tsukuyomi which is quite a crazy dream if you think about it calmly. But who can tell him now that black zetsu is dodgy in pretending to be his conscious?

opinion on Aphmau’s new tiktok?

Im not gonna talk about the Jason stuff, really. Mostly just that I’m happy that things weren’t how they were assumed to be, and that she’s safe. I know a lot of people did worry about her. But, her personal life is her personal life, and now it’s just not something I concern myself with. I do think PDH should’ve portrayed the age gap differently, if it was intended to be based off of their relationship, but no one ever claimed that PDH was a masterpiece of writing.

And, focusing instead on the rest of the tiktok.

Jess has spoken before (on a livestream, I think) about how shippers made her make a big change in MCD that she didn’t like, which lead to her eventually dropping the series, so that wasn’t particularly new information. There was speculation about whether this meant that the whole aarmau storyline was a result of shippers driving her crazy, or if Aaron’s death was, and of course now I’m inclined to believe it was Aaron’s death due to the specification that it was Garmau shippers in particular.

Jess has mentioned struggles with shippers a lot, and whilst the stalking situation is newly mentioned, I really hope that her and Jason are safe, and comfortable, and so are their kids.

I see even in her comments that people are still going on that they ‘Will never forgive her for not having Garmau endgame’ which feels so insensitive considering the topic of the tiktok? I think a lot of people in the fandom, from the roleplay era specifically, are actually kind of weird with Jess when it comes to these things, and I think we need to learn a lot more sensitivity.

I’m not acting like I’m morally superior, I know I’ve been an ass in the past, but I just think, from here on out, we should probably be a bit more considerate about the things we say to Jess and the context in which we say them. Because our response to ‘Garmau shippers pressured me into doing something I didn’t like with my series so I ended it’ shouldn’t be ‘but garmau should be endgame tho 😡😡’

Also I’m really excited for more rp content :3

Ater Lucidus - The One Who Wasn't Chosen

Elder twin brother to Micans, Ater acts as a stand-in during certain events and prefers to support his sibling from the shadows. Neither twins enjoy the spotlight, but Micans has grown accustomed to it while Ater has shied away from it. With his vast knowledge of occult practices, magicks and the Void, his thirst for knowledge is still unsatisfied.

Depending on when you meet the man, Ater's mastery over black magic and his innate abilities as a half-voidsent changes. He's always been ruthless and protective over his twin, but later events push him far beyond what he have imagined he's capable of.

Etain Snowdrift - Stoneheart Mercenary

Rage is what defines her, towards any and all authority. She has been wronged many times in her life, abandoned in the Brume, being left for dead by her mercenary band. Despite life's trials and tribulations, she continues on, one step at a time, trying to make sense of a world she views as so very hostile.

She can be found in any corner of Eorzea, and at times beyond. She frequently takes work as a mercenary, trying to gather any information she can on her former band and where each member has gone.

Erravi goe Corvus - Garlean Gone Astray

As his name would suggest, Erravi (or simply Avi to those close to him) is a Garlean deserter. He served for nearly a decade, until he was deemed more of a liability than a resource and his superiors ordered his execution. Left in the snow, near death from bloodloss and hypothermia, is usually where his story starts.

Idun - Budding Blood Mage

A young Veena only in his 20s, they fled their master after enduring vicious attacks due to not perceiving themself as being male. Since, he has taken up work as a dancer, traveling around Eorzea before meeting a certain unscrupulous doctor in Ishgard. They are affectionately described as a "temperamental little spitfire".

Domitien Ormesang - Cursed Marksman

He was not always a wanderer, in fact he was a weaver of some renown from Gridania before deciding to set out for Ishgard with his companion and lover. They suffered a terrible fate on that journey, however, leading to his lover's soul being consumed by the cursed weapon that he now carries. Now he searches for a way to break the curse and put his lover's soul to rest, by any means necessary.

Micans Lilius - Naturalborn Lightwarden

WOL - He/Him - Gay - Shipped (Soulmates Beyond Time) - not lfrp

Micans was born in Garlean territory, the youngest of four children. His mother passed away shortly after his birth, something his father blamed him for until his dying day. Before that though, it was 12 years after Micans' birth that his father almost killed him, leaving him with a scar from the gunshot. His siblings bid him to run, and so he did, eventually making his way to Eorzea and starting his journey as the Warrior of Light. At times he believes Hydaelyn made the right choice, as the very Crystal of Light She bestowed upon him was furthering his light poisoning.
