what influencers and cosmetic companies won't tell you, is that the best anti-aging and beauty regimen is a healthy, low-stress lifestyle. Regular exercise, hydration, whole foods, low sugar, a spiritual practice, minimal alcohol, no smoking, healthy relationships, gratitude, etc.
you could have expensive eye cream, costly cosmetic procedures, or high-end makeup products, but none of that matters if you're not healthy physically, mentally, and emotionally. If you stay in a toxic relationship for years, it will age you. If eat junk, drink, and smoke, it will age you. if you live a sedentary lifestyle, it will age you!!
skincare products are fun to use, and they can definitely take your skin to the next level (especially if you have conditions like acne or hyperpigmentation), but I always notice that my skin is the best when I've been drinking lots of water, limiting my sugar, getting sunlight, and staying stress-free. looking forever 21 y/o shouldn't necessarily be the goal, but aging gracefully is a byproduct of taking care of yourself.
TL;DR- stop spending copious amount of $$$ on beauty treatments, procedures, and makeup and just take care of the body and mind that you have. it will be far more effective (and cheaper) in the long run.

Face Masks
summary: you discover that if there's one thing your friend Steve is a giant nerd about, it's skincare
Steve Harrington x fem!reader ♡ 973 words
You knock on Steve’s door for the second time, peering into the closest window tentatively. You’d been supposed to go see him at work to drop off the cassette you’d borrowed, but you could’ve sworn his shift ended at eight tonight, not five. When you’d gotten there, Robin had told you with a shrug that you should be able to find him at home, but he wasn’t answering the door.
You glanced behind you, just to make sure you hadn’t hallucinated his car in the driveway. He wouldn’t ignore you on purpose, would he? You haven’t known Steve long, but you consider him a good friend, and he always seems to treat you with a tenderness he doesn’t quite show to his other friends, even Robin. He finds excuses to hold your hand and calls you “honey” and smiles at you in this soft way that makes your insides turn to mush. You don’t think Steve’s the sort of guy who does all that for show, being sweet and flirty in front of his friends and then ignoring you when it’s just the two of you. That’d be…you can’t believe that about him.
You decide to give it one more try before going home, but your knuckles barely make contact with the door before it’s swinging open. “What?” Steve snaps, then blinks, his eyebrows shooting high as he spots you. “Shit, sorry, honey, I didn’t mean to yell at you. I thought you were the postal service or something.”
“I…it’s okay.” You’re staring at him, you know, but you can’t make yourself stop. You could probably blame it on the shock of having him spook you like he’s just done, but it may also be due to another surprise. “You’re wearing a headband.”
He looks skyward as if he’ll be able to see it, then back to you with a half-defensive expression. “I, um…yeah.” He shrugs. “I am.”
“I brought your cassette,” you explain yourself dumbly, still somewhat mystified. “Also, you have…dirt on your face?” You reach out to brush some of the brown clots off his cheek, but he bats your hand away.
“It’s exfoliant,” he says, rolling his eyes. “I was rinsing it off when you knocked.” He turns from you and goes back inside, but leaves the door open for you to follow. You do, curious, and trail him all the way to his bathroom sink, where Steve bends at the waist, splashing water on his face.
“Stevie,” you guffaw, staring in astonishment at the products lined up on his counter. “Is all of this yours?”
“Yep,” he says, patting his face dry with a towel. “Laugh all you want, but all this?” He gestures with a circular motion to his face. “It doesn’t just happen. It takes work. A process.”
You hold your hands up innocently, but a smile plays at your lips. “Hey, I respect it. Whatever makes you look like this is good with me.”
Steve quirks an eyebrow at your abnormally explicit flirtation. “Yeah? Good, because it’s all for you, honey.”
Your face warms, and you’re quick to change the subject. “So, what does it do? The exfoliate?”
“Exfoliant,” he corrects you. “It gets rid of any dead skin and leaves your face smooth.”
You nod pensively. You have always thought Steve had unnaturally soft, glowy skin.
“And this,” he says, picking up another bottle from the counter and squirting a small amount onto his finger tip. “Is moisturizer. It’s supposed to be anti-aging, so I’ll stay looking like this forever.”
You laugh as he rubs it into his skin. “Great, so the rest of us are just supposed to get old and ugly and you’ll still look like you’re in your twenties?”
“Pfft, as if you could ever be ugly.” Steve waves you off. “If you wanna try some for fun, though, you’re welcome to.”
You roll your eyes at him, holding out your palm, but he pumps the product into his own hand again, using his fingertips to smooth it onto your face. You stretch your neck for him as he works it under your jaw, and you’re sure he sees your nervous swallow.
“It feels nice,” you say once he’s done, touching your fingers to your cheek. Your eye catches on another bottle. “What’s that one do?”
Soon you’ve been exfoliated, toned, and are laying on Steve’s bed with a goopy mask covering everything but your eyes.
“Smells pretty,” you murmur, careful not to move your mouth too much as Steve comes to lie beside you, his own mask in place.
“It’s watermelon-scented,” he replies. “Supposed to brighten.”
You don’t really understand how your skin can brighten (is that the glowy thing?), but you’re enjoying this time with Steve, and the pleasant scents are an added bonus.
“Could I maybe do this with you again?”
Steve grins at you, not seeming to care as his face mask globs a bit around his mouth. “Totally! I do this once a week, but I have dry skin. We could make you your own skincare routine and everything. It’ll be fun!”
You smile back at him, endeared and a bit surprised by how into this he seems. “Okay, what would I need to do?”
“Well, first we have to figure out what kind of skin you have. Have you noticed if you get oily?” You shake your head cluelessly. “That’s okay. We’ll figure that out, and then plan out your regimen from there. I’m thinking a clay mask, exfoliant of course, maybe an overnight serum…”You listen to him ramble on, not really following and beginning to get the sense that a lot of your paycheck is about to go towards this new routine. Anything that means you’ll get to see Steve this excited, though—anything that means you’ll get to see Steve, period—is definitely worth it.

They can't tell that I love you.
Tumblr media
Men and minors DNI One of the girls (AU) Warnings: Teacher-student dynamics, age gap, dark theme.
1 P.M You open your eyes. You felt hot and you woke up sweaty. You reach out for your phone but it’s not there.
Panic sets inWhere is it
MY PHONE You get up in your bed and start looking around frantically Oh It’s on the table being charged. Your room is cleaned up. You know that you can be drunk enough to jump off a bridge but not drunk enough to clean. You try to recall last night's events 12..18 vodka shots216 $Goddamn that's too much how drunk was Then, a girl with red hair in a silver dress touched me. Natasha. No that wasn't real. Drinking water. Hitting head on the nightstandSleepingDrooling
Dreaming about Natasha You couldn't recall coming home, changing clothes, cleaning your house. You open the gallery to check for pictures but none. You open your camera to check your makeup. It's removed and you can smell your  moisturizer You certainly didn't do skincare You get up and go to the kitchen for water. The whole house is clean. The dishes are done. The clothes are folded. And there's a wig and huge sunglasses by the table next to the foyer door. Those aren't yours. You pick them up and smell them. Gucci. Flora. You were sure of it. You loved per fumes and you were a pro at recognizing them. The scent was familiar but you couldn't remember. You go to your dresser and there's a note.
“Hey, stranger! We met at the bar, remember?----. See you again soon. Take care! Love Lilah” Silver dress. It must be that girl who touched me. Nice of her. She carried me home. So she probably used the wigs and the glasses? Next to her note is a strip of anti-hangover pills with one tab empty. That explains not feeling the hangover.
You pick up a pair of shorts and a tank top to go take a bath. On the sink is a strand of red hair. It’s probably Lilah’s. I need to thank her. I have probably seen her at university. It’s Saturday and you have 3 assignments pending. After you take a bath you chug water and decide to take a walk to that cafe and get something to eat. Your frequent visits made you develop a taste for the food there. You also bonded with Wanda. She was sweet and kind and always managed to strike up a conversation. It's Saturday so you probably won't see Natasha there. You decide not to change out of your outfit and just apply some lip balm, put on Crocs, and leave your hair as it is. You run a hand through it to fix it in place. You grab your phone, lock the apartment, and leave. The world is a much better place to live when you sleep 8+ hours of sleep and are hydrated. The walk was beautiful. You noticed the sunshine but stuck to walking in the shade of the trees since you had no SPF on. You forget about everything, enter the cafe, and walk up to the counter. As you're ordering a big salad and iced tea you see some red hair in the corner of your eyes. And the sound of someone clearing their throat Oh thank god wanda is here I won't feel alone.Over the days you and Wanda came on a first-name basis since she didn't teach you. You turn around and your heart sinks. It’s Natasha You gasped and remembered your outfit. It had to be the worst one. A faded tank top and shorts. Plus the Crocs and socks. Also the messy hair You could've died right there. She smiles at you as if something is funny. Probably the gasp Oh god.Why do you hate me x2 The audible gasp and the way you stiffened upon seeing her. Your hair in its natural state looked adorable to her Your bare face which showed your blush very obviously and the glossy lip balm on your lips. Adorable. She could push you on the counter and take you-
No.Not yet. “Hey, how are you,” she said with the most shit-eating grin across her face. This is what she wanted. To see you in your natural habitat where you're not putting up a front for her. The way you didn't expect her and she was right there. That's what she wanted. Otherwise, she didn't like how you always acted like a pouty little bitch to get her attention. ‘What are you doing here on a Saturday” “I was getting lunch and came here on a walk” You awkwardly positioned your hands behind you on the counter. Natasha was very close to you with your back fully against the counter. “Well same” “Y/n? Is there some y/n here? Your order is ready” You immediately turn around and grab your order. Natasha inches even closer. Her pelvis is almost touching your ass. You smoothly slip out of the gap and give her an awkward smile. “Natasha? Your order is ready” says the man at the counter. “Oh, what a coincidence. Come sit with me” “Uh- sure” She grabs your hand and sits you down at the seat across from her. She places your iced tea gingerly in front of you she smiles at you and for some reason, the fight in you and the tough front is completely gone. “So. what have you been up to” she asks “Oh, nothing. Assignments. I spent my entire night working on it” Liar “Aw c'mon don't lie to me” “No, really I spent a lot of time on it “Oh, then it must be good. Which assignment were you doing exactly?” “UM-...the..Kafka one’ “Oh great. Mind if I have a listen?” “Listen? What” you were caught. “Oh, you know. The assignment was that you record a part of his work and narrate it in your style while explaining” Natasha was lying too, The assignment was to read some of Kafka's work and write observations. She just wanted to test you. For funzies. “Oh- that’s not. My phone was running out of storage so the audio file is on my laptop” “Smart. But have you not gone out at all?” “Nope. just studying and working” You stammer on your words and lie to appear squeaky clean to her. She found every single thing about you adorable “Oh! By the way, Natash- Ms. Romanoff I have a question” She chuckled at how you almost said her name. “Yes, what is it?” “Do you know any lilah? Does she have red hair? Or like any red-haired girl you've seen around the university?” “I know Lilah but I'm unsure if she has red hair. How do you know? Why do you ask?” That made Natasha’s heart jump. “At the library. I met this girl who was wearing a silver dress and had red hair. I passed out. Dehydration I think? She dropped me home and cleaned my room. Funny story right” “A girl at the library in a silver dress? clean your room? y/n, are you okay?” she laughs out. “Yeah-” “y/n it's ok you don't have to lie. I know you went out somewhere last night. I saw your Instagram story. Nice dress by the way.” You awkwardly look down in shame. “I don't eat students for going out, you know. I caught your lie when you said you ‘recorded’ your assignment. You could've just said you were drunk and a kind girl dropped you home and you want to know her and thank her” “Y-yeah that. I’m sorry” “It's okay Malysh. I'll try to hunt down a red-haired Lilah for you. But you shouldn't pay much attention honestly. Girls are very supportive and I'm glad you made it home safe.” You and Natasha chatted for an hour at least, the conversation felt natural. You eventually forget about your outfit. The weekend passed and surprisingly you did all your assignments.--------------------------
You wake up at 6:30 am. Go for a run because Natasha mentioned she goes for a run. And you in the spur of the moment said you do too. You come back from your run, take a bath, and have breakfast  You pick out some black flared leggings and a sweatshirt. You apply mascara, lip gloss, and SPF and leave for college. You enter the class and there is a girl in your seat. “Hey um this is my seat,” you say . She wore a cute outfit. “Oh sorry. I am Lottie.” “Hi Rhea this is my seat” “I don't see your name on it” Bitch “Listen. Ms. Romanoff told me specifically to sit here, please move” “Why? She's bangin’ you?” That made your blood boil. You were furious. So much for your day being ruined by this A grade cunt. Natasha enters the class and the minute she sees your face she knows something going on “Hey, what's going on?” Natasha enters in a panicked state upon seeing the mini brawl take place.
You turn to her with glossy eyes and a clear look of anger. “Miss Romanoff? I'm a new student and she says she needs the first seat. Will you please let me sit here it's my first day” she said trying to act all cute Sure, you were Natasha's favorite but as a professor, she couldn't let her favoritism toward you show now. “y/n, honey, why don't you sit on the next bench hm? What got you so worked up, what'd she say to you?” “Miss Romanoff I simply jokingly asked her why she is so adamant about sitting here, is it because you are banging her?” she said the last bit loudly, and all the other students in the classroom turned to look at the three of you “Well first of all Lottie,  I asked y/n not you. Secondly, that's a very inappropriate remark about your peer and professor. This is a warning. I don't like individuals like you to act up” she said as she placed a hand on your lower back while guiding you to your seat. This was her way of letting Lottie get the message.
Lottie’s mouth felt agape as she saw Natasha touch you. Then she saw the smirk on Natasha's face. Throughout the lecture. Natasha's eyes were fixated on you. She kept checking to make sure how you were doing. After the lecture, you immediately had to leave for another period. You pack your things, smile at Natasha, and leave. After the lecture, Rhea got up from her desk and went to Natasha. She made sure everyone left. “Hey Miss Romanoff?” “Yes Lottie what is it,” she said annoyed “I wanted to ask you something” She bends forward on the desk exposing her cleavage
‘Yes, Lottie. what.is.it?” “I was wondering if you are willing to offer me extra lessons? Y'know. Just us?”
“You have gotta be a real stupid person for wanting extra classes in literature. This isn't high school math. Lottie you chose this subject. Now deal with your consequences” “But Miss Romanoff you give extra lessons to y/n” Natasha's eyes shot up at her giving her a deathly stare. “I already told you, you're being inappropriate. I have all the rights to drop you as a student and transfer you to another class. My limit for each lecture is 45 students. You're the 47th one” “Then drop y/n too” “You and the student on the last bench are getting dropped. y/n and the others were the first to sign up and get allotted to my class” “Ah, I see she wants to bang you THAT bad” She leans closer to Lottie. And whispers in her ear “Yeah so? Are you jealous?” She pulls back and leaves the classroom. Lottie feels burnt to her core. Although Lottie had a girlfriend. She couldn't help but think her girlfriend's sister was hotter. Yelena was Lottie's girlfriend.

beauty standards and curated aesthetics online
tiktok, pinterest and the promotion of aesthetics
curated aesthetics like coquette, downtown girl, cottagecore, femme fatale, that girl, clean girl, coconut girl
anti aging (promoting retinol, 10-step skincare routines, palstic surgery, not smiling to reduce wrinkles????)
normalization of plastic surgery
body types (heroin chic, curvy, etc.)
“energy” (divine feminine)
doe eyes, siren eyes
popular pretty, natural pretty or model pretty
why this is harmful
curated aesthetics- people are pushed to conform to a manufactured style. instead of creating your own style and wearing what you want, people are trying to fit into aesthetics
anti aging- people are now terrified of aging and are going thru great lengths so they don’t get lines on their face. at the end of the day, you’re going to get wrinkles eventually. when you’re 80 no $500 serum is gonna stop natural aging.
normalization of plastic surgery- plastic surgery is now seen as a trend. the kardashians did all that work, then got their BBL removed. no it’s about buccal fat removal. whats next? why do we view plastic surgery as a trend? fashion trends are one thing but our faces are another.
body types- beauty standards for our bodies shift all the time. 4 years ago it was big boobs, tiny waist and wide hips. now it’s heroin chic, ultra thin with slim faces and no buccal fat.
“energy”- no one cares about divine feminine energy. it’s a chronically online idea, similar to the whole alpha male, beta male sigma thing. in real life people aren’t gonna go “wow she’s so divine feminine!” outside of the online sphere, people don’t care at all about these terms.
conclusion- we’re all being pushed into boxes style wise. the clothes we wear, how our bodys are built, how our faces look, what energy we give off. if we have doe eyes or siren eyes, if we’re popular pretty, natural pretty or model pretty. it’s just another stressor that pushes people towards insecurities. and these social media platforms push this content towards young women and teens like me, making us feel like in order to be pretty we need to fit these labels and conform to these standards.
taking back our identity
recognizing online manipulation- when this content gets pushed so heavily, especially on tiktok, it’s easy to get caught in the algorithmic loop. but it’s important to take a step back and think- what am i actually watching? how is this affecting me?
cutting back on social media time- another thing that helps is just taking time offline and cutting back on social media. when you do so you realize how pointless these things are. in the real world no one is going to notice if you have “doe eyes or siren eyes” or if you’re a high value woman or a femme fatale or whatever.
embracing health over trends- my main point though is to prioritize your health over trends. prioritize taking care of your body- eating good, working out, taking care of your physical health. instead of getting caught up with anti-aging, just focusing on basic skincare and nourishing your body. by taking care of yourself you’ll be embracing your natural beauty :)
conclusion- social media can be damaging, and it can promote negative ideas. i’m getting tired of all the curated styles, the pressure put on appearances. it’s just another stressor in life, one that isn’t important. if you enjoy these styles online, thats great i do too! but its important to remember that it’s all pointless really. youre not a femme fatale, youre 15.

Yk when u purg3 and ur face gets all red and puffy and ur eyes get swollen? I got a solution!!!
I thought of this yesterday but yk how ppl use ice cubes to "de-puff" their faces in the morning?
U see where I'm goin'?
I tried it and it works so good
It makes ur puffy cheeks and go down and fixes the swelling around the eyes, and if ur face is still red u can be like "it's from the cold" AND it has other benefits (firm skin, anti-wrinkle, anti-aging, etc) so u can say that u r doing it for skincare purposes
It won't look like it does much right as u do it, it will just turn ur skin redder, but once ur skin returns to a more normal color it INSTANTLY brings down swelling
Like I did it yesterday on half my face first to test it and I could literally see a difference between my eye and cheek on one side to the other, like one side it was still kinda red and my eye was squinty (well squintier lol) and the other it was much closer to normal and the redness was GONE
So if u need a quick fix, yk
Just make sure you get under ur eye rly well, that's the part that looks the most noticably swollen
Anyway ily all and stay safe ♡

I dreamt last night that Jack had a youtube skincare channel and i watched some of his vidoes and they were all cute (you know, just how he is) but the comments were so mean???
Like, all the comment were like „the guy shows us anti-aging products when he‘s only 24 years old? And he is god? I bet he fakes the results with god power🙄“ and „i bet he didnt even pay for that and just manifestet it instead, ick🙄🤮“
And that made me really sad

i hate you plastic surgeons on social media who speculate about what work celebrities and influencers have had done. i hate you celebrities and influencers who pump their faces and bodies with fillers and/or get surgery after surgery, then proceed to lie about it all for years, crediting some bullshit weight loss tea or dumb workout routine or ‘holy grail’ beauty product. i hate you fashion brands who make their clothes to suit a very specific body type that only a small percent of people have and only carry a small range of sizes bc, fuck it, they feel like it.
i hate you diet companies for pushing unrealistic standards, promising unrealistic results, targeting mostly young women and girls, and just straight up lying to people in much of your advertising. i hate you social media (especially fucking instagram) for pushing a bullshit, unrealistic beauty standard and telling us that we all have to meet it or else we’re ugly and unlovable. i hate you “legging legs” and “body by ozempic” and “buccal fat removal” and “bbl body” and “heroin chic,” i hate you body type trends.
i hate you people who feel the fucking need to incessantly comment on the foods people eat and their body size and tell them that “that’s so unhealthy” as if they don’t already fucking know that!! just let them fucking enjoy their goddamn meal and feel comfortable in their own skin!!! it’s not that fucking hard!!! i hate you skincare companies that market your anti-aging products to teenage girls and women in their twenties. i hate you doctors who refuse to take women, trans people, people of color, fat people, and those who belong to two or more of those identities seriously when they come to you with their health issues.
i hate you politicians for turning something as simple as preferred pronouns into ammunition for your bullshit ideological warfare that you use to distract from the fact that many of your constituents can’t even afford to live and that, currently, you are working as hard as you possibly can to strip our rights away and set us back decades upon decades. i hate you news stations who would rather focus on celebrities and their lavish fashion and their lavish events and their lavish PR stunts than the genocides and geopolitical conflicts in Palestine, Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Artsakh, etc.

My 10 Step Anti-Aging Skincare Routine
by Emery Allen
start with an expensive cleanser  made of seaweed and ground up saltwater pearls.  of a beautiful girl’s tears  that can make you just as beautiful. double cleanse, quadruple cleanse, cleanse until your skin is empty  of the whole life that you wear on your face.
use the acid that comes in a gold bottle  to remove the damaged layers.  become as new as birth.  become even newer. here, I’ll show you how.
turn into cheekbones  and skin  and lose all roundness.  forget the glow of your moon face, one once worshipped for its fullness.  that’s better.
become smaller and smaller  until you are  nothing  but a little spirit  of light dimming.  then, maybe, you can fit.
use micro currents to tighten your face for only $499. wear a red light mask, too, become red light  if you can afford it.
drink a gallon of water a day  to avoid wrinkles.  drink as much as a pond.  become a pond and forget the body all together. be as smooth as  an undisturbed day.  windless, motionless.  still, quiet.
forget yourself.  do everything less, live outside of your body  and watch it like a stranger. bury your intuition  in beauty products and a pile of trendy jeans.
and god forbid, don’t get old. never get old.
never get loud, never get angry, never get something in your teeth, never let your eyeliner smear, in fact never wear makeup that looks like makeup. never let your skin grow pale, grow dry, grow lived in. hide your pores, hide your sadness, hide your ambitions. never turn a man down, oh just ignore it. never ask for more than a crumb. never want the whole dinner, and dessert too. never want more than they are giving you right now. be grateful to have any of it. never drink more than two drinks, never go a day without sunscreen, never forget your retinol even when it leaves you raw. it’s doing its job. never sleep on your side, never want more for yourself, never be selfish, never grow. never forget to moisturize your hands, too.

"have you ever thought its because they sell you poison in a bottle, sister?" idc about men or their skin but the whole radfem fearmongering over parabens and 'poison' and 'carcinogens' in skincare is honestly just making us look stupid. i have a serious skin condition that is fixed completely by skincare products. a lot of skincare products are, at worst, completely pointless. but they're not ~poison in a bottle~. i don't get how it can be a problem in itself to care about the health of your skin
hi, thank you so much for your ask!
many skincare products do unfortunately have unregulated, toxic ingredients in them, and the more expensive ones seem to think they can get away with it because of their luxury brand status and flashy advertising
take kylie skin for example, a skincare brand by a billionaire that ruined the skin barriers of many, and caused several breakouts because of the horrible ingredients, which included PEG-100, an ethylene oxide used in ww1 to create nerve gas, i.e. poison
many luxury brands, like i referred to in my post by referencing a $250 serum often carry strange smells, or are fragranced, which is not good for the skin, and can dry it out
of course im not anti skincare, especially if you need it
i myself do skincare because my skin can get so dry it can become uncomfortable
i find it an issue, however when women feel forced to purchase expensive, unregulated products to try and keep their skin looking the same as it did at 18, and ultimately end up worsening the state of their skin
i see many women also compare themselves to their male counterparts, wishing that they could also put in the bit of effort they do and still have 'nice skin', all the while trying all sorts of different products, ingredients, some with a big price tag, others not, in a desperate attempt to "defy aging"
its certainly not an issue to take care of your skin, its an issue to feel compelled into purchasing unregulated products in an attempt to have barbie skin
i hope this helps! and i wish you luck with your skin, i know what its like to have skin conditions, it can suck

Nighttime Routine
concept from @reveriehs
Tumblr media
Harry and Y/N had been doing their skincare together every night since she moved in with him. Their products created a long, colorful row across the bathroom counter, which they navigated with ease.
“Close your eyes,” you instructed as you peeled open one of your favorite face masks. It felt so cooling and refreshing, you were sure Harry would love it. You laid it gently on his face and his eyes widened in surprise before you coaxed them back shut. “If that feels good, wait ‘til you feel this.” You ran your jade roller all over his face, lifting it up rather than pulling it down.
Harry practically purred at the sensation, his head falling back against his neck. “Yeah,” he groaned.
“Yeah, H?” you questioned, and he gave you a lazy nod in response.
“Feels so smooth,” he moaned wistfully. “ ‘F only I had some of my own.”
“Too bad,” you piped cheerfully as you continued rolling the stone up his face. “It makes your skin feel so smooth, it’s almost unrealistic.”
“You are unbearably unrealistic,” Harry groaned, head still back. “Goddess.”
You let out a soft hum in place of a giggle as you finished massaging his face. You peeled off the mask, leaving him in awe of his smooth, hydrated complexion.
“Now what are you gonna do to me, Mr. Styles?” you asked, giving his bare chest a playful slap.
“I haven’t quite decided yet,” he replied as he examined you with a smirk on his face. “Maybe…”
You watched his eyes scan the array of products before him as he carefully selected his favorite face soap. “This.” He squeezed some onto his dampened fingers and lathered it onto your face. He rubbed gentle circles across every inch of it as you blushed subconsciously, a result of the attention from Harry.
His eyes were glittering before you, enthralled by your beautiful face.
“Who’s got you so bothered?” you inquired, to which he didn’t respond.
He only reached for his moisturizer and spread it across your face, taking extra care to be gentle.
“It’s so smooth,” you commented.
Then, it was your turn to pamper him again. “Close your eyes and pick.”
His fingers fumbled around a small brown bottle and he handed it to you. “What is it?”
“Anti-aging serum!” you exclaimed, your chipper tone driving him mad. “Just perfect!”
“I am not aging,” Harry contradicted, folding his arms in retaliation.
“You sure look a lot different that when I first met you,” you reasoned, dripping the golden serum onto his forehead and cheeks. “Obstinate, aging baby.”
He let out a growl at your words, but he wasn’t unhappy, because every word was spoken out of your adoration for him.
Your fingers worked the serum into his skin, and, when you’d finished, he looked in the mirror, claiming to have aged backwards. “I feel rejuvenated,” he remarked coyly. “I am your baby-faced baby again.”
“Shut up,” you hissed through your giggles.
Harry picked up your new vibrating contraption that was supposed to tighten your skin, and turned it on.
“How do I use this?”
“Press the button and put it on my face,” you explained dumbly.
He died as you instructed, letting the machine whir gently across your skin.
“I can’t see how this is tightening, but it makes me want to squish those precious little cheeks.”
“Ooh, Harry!” you exclaimed, causing him to nearly drop your gadget. “I have a lip scrub from Lush that I wanna try on you. Come closer.”
You opened the container, waving it beneath his nose so he could get a whiff of it.
“It’s called Watermelon Sugar,” you explained excitedly. “It’s perfect for you!”
“Oh, goody.”
You scraped some of the soft crystals from the jar and spread them across his pink lips, scrubbing them gently back and forth. When you were done, he couldn’t help but lick his lips in amazement.
“I can kiss you again!” you remarked, receiving a dirty look from him.
“Watch it missy,” he warned. “I could use that vibrater for things you cannot wrap your pretty little mind around.”
“Such as?”
“Oh… you know…” he began, scrambling for ideas. “Ah… rattling your face off, pussy torture? The usual.”
“The usual, hm?”
“I don’t know about you, love, but I feel like using the kiss facial right now.” With that, his mouth was all over your face, whether you liked it or not.

Skincare Acids: A Guide to Healthy Skin
In the world of skincare, various acids play a pivotal role in promoting healthier and more radiant skin. These acids are used in products like serums, cleansers, and exfoliants. Let's explore a few of the most popular ones:
1. Hyaluronic Acid (HA):
Known for its powerful hydrating properties, hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. It helps the skin retain moisture, leaving it plump and supple.
2. Glycolic Acid:
A type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), glycolic acid is excellent for exfoliating the skin. It removes dead skin cells, unclogs pores, and can improve the appearance of fine lines and hyperpigmentation.
3. Salicylic Acid:
This beta hydroxy acid (BHA) is effective for treating acne and oily skin. It penetrates pores, exfoliates the inside of the follicles, and helps reduce inflammation.
4. Lactic Acid:
Another AHA, lactic acid is gentler than glycolic acid. It provides mild exfoliation, making it suitable for sensitive skin. It can improve texture and hydration.
5. Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid):
Although not a traditional acid, vitamin C is essential for brightening the skin, reducing hyperpigmentation, and protecting against free radicals. It promotes collagen production.
6. Retinoic Acid (Retin-A):
A derivative of vitamin A, retinoic acid is known for its anti-aging properties. It can improve fine lines, wrinkles, and skin texture. It may cause some initial irritation.
7. Azelaic Acid:
Effective for treating rosacea and acne, azelaic acid has anti-inflammatory and exfoliating properties. It can help reduce redness and hyperpigmentation.
8. Kojic Acid:
Often used in products designed to lighten skin, kojic acid can help fade dark spots and even out skin tone. It's a milder alternative to hydroquinone.
9. Ferulic Acid:
Often combined with vitamin C and vitamin E, ferulic acid has antioxidant properties that enhance the stability and effectiveness of other ingredients.
10. Mandelic Acid:
A gentler AHA, mandelic acid is suitable for sensitive skin. It can improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and help with acne.
When incorporating acids into your skincare routine, it's essential to start slowly, use sunscreen daily, and consider your skin type and concerns. Consulting with a dermatologist or skincare professional can help you choose the right acids for your specific needs and ensure a safe and effective regimen. Remember that individual reactions may vary, so patch testing is a good practice when trying new products.

Wait for Vils for Tuna ending am I understanding that ending right is he is using a mind altering perfume??? Im alittle lost on why he was hiding?
I mean...if you want it to be that, you can have it be that.
But that wasn't my intention 😂 this is one of the more innocent endings, aside from Vil not so subtley bragging about your date.
Remember during the fake dinner date, when Grim told Vil he was old and had gray hair at 25? Vil immediately dyed his hair and upped his skincare routine, then he had his infamous interaction with Azul in chapter three. I'm headcanonning he went into hiding, perfecting a new anti aging beauty routine, and formulating a hair dye that was slightly closer to his initial shade. He spent weeks refusing to be seen in public, until he was absolutely perfect again.
As for why your head would go empty at the end of his ending...if Vil Schoenheit took your hands and kissed your cheek, wouldn't your brain shut down?
That said, if you want to interpret it as a new perfume, which I wouldn't doubt him capable of making, then I am not upset about that. In fact, that interpretation totally makes sense!
