When someone have their Mars in my 3rd house I almost always find their voice super hot.

One risk with 10th house synastry is that the fights seem to become very public. For example Amber Heards Sun being conjunct Johnny Depps Midheaven.

Moon conjunct Mars can create a dislike that neither person knows where it comes from. Just a sense of being easily irritated or triggered by the other person.

Positive aspects can turn out just as toxic as some of the negative aspects especially when it comes to Venus or Neptune. Venus conjunct Ascendant for example is such a beautiful placement but there is also a very dark side to it if the Venus person is not happy with themselves. Ive seen this one cause extreme envy in the Venus person. Infront of them stands the glamorous Ascendant who got everything they wish they had from looks to manners. Ive seen this aspect cause the Venus person to have this aggressive need to compete with the house person while the house person is not even aware of this competiton.

Also in synastry the Conjunction can be harder to get over than the Square even tho the Square is considered worse. Its like the Moon person just instinctively know what to say or do to hurt the Chiron person.

Lilith 10th house synastry seems to be common between people who have a public beef or just two people that everyone knows dont like eachother.

Nessus(7066) conjunct Ascendant in synastry seems to create an intense sexual obsession and awake sexually devious fantasies in both people.

The hardest thing for a show to do without absolutely Destroying its audience's belief in stakes is fake out deaths. It happens all the time during a season or even series finale: A main character dies, but then is revealed to be mildly/moderately/extremely hurt (throw a dart).

All the emotional payoff a character dying is immediately followed up with a cathartic return of a beloved figure. When its done right, it's Effective. That's why it was so popular, that and another reason.

The other reason is that its relatively Easy. It doesn't require the writers to change the status quo. Silly fun adventures with the gang go on as always without any real changes. This is so Cost and Idea effective, that it got overused and now everyone is jaded.

Now there's good ways to do this of course. AtLA comes to mind: Genuine threat of death, maguffin from last season finale which has been haunting the previous episodes comes into play, and the status quo changes: Aang is recovering from a serious injury for weeks, is furious that he died and failed Again when the world needed him, and he can't tap into god mode anymore.

So what's this got to do with the tags? Well if you know you know. Otherwise spoiler warning so gtfo already.

Sir Pentious, and I suspect Adam, did die a fakeout death, but the death part was genuine. Sir Pentious was not found in the rubble of the Hotel. Sir Pentious didn't respawn and explain that Adam's divine energy beams weren't angelic steel. Sir Pentious was Genuinely dead and the status quo has genuinely changed.

But! The show's premise is that the Hotel can help sinners redeem themselves. Redeption isn't a reward you seek. Its a condition that one meets on a personal, individual level. Sir Pentious came to the Hotel as a spy, and when he was shown that Charlie was willing to forgive him, it changed his understanding of the world. He realized that he could improve, it just starts with one good sorry.

Sir Pentious put aside his self loathing, his shame, his anxieties. He used his inventions to put himself on the line rather than keep himself out of danger (I mean that's what the airship is all about isn't it?). He fought for the people he cared about. He died to protect the ones he loved. And that transformation: from a paranoid worm of a human being (slimy? Snakes are not slimy), to an actualized individual willing to put himself on the line, earned him salvation.

Now Sir Pentious is an Angel! He's in Heaven! Even more so he bypassed the Pearly Gates and functionally respawned In the Seraphim's boardroom. Frankly He was one of the older sinners to be around so it doesn't surprise me the implication that he's powerful enough be worth the notice of the Seraphims.

So what about Adam? Why do I mention him? He was killed by a filthy janitor. Well. As another post mentioned: In the 10,000 years that Adam has been in charge of killing his own descendants because Lilith and Eve (where the fuck is she anyway?) screwed him over with the assistance of a short, dumb, naive angel (poor guy just wanted to share his ideas, look at him. 10,000 years later and he's hardly got a drop of malice in him that isn't put there by someone else), Adam has become Prideful, Slothful, Lustful, and Wrathful. Even one of those is enough to make you fall. Yet he was tolerated by heaven, most likely due to his extenuating circumstances.

Adam has died. He died full of Wrath, and Pride. He died because he was unmotivated to come up with a better solution, and unwilling to keep himself in shape. He died because of his Blood Lust.

So I think that very early on in season two, we will get to see Adam's demonic form.

Two fakeout deaths! But not really. Both characters have provably died and both (theoretically) will create a new status quo not just by dying, but by reincarnating across enemy lines.

It was no use. There is no way you’re going to be able to remember which ingredients go into which potions by exam time. You’re going to make a fool of yourself in front of the class when your potion blows up in your face. 

Papers, books, pencil shavings, and various note-taking apparatuses are strewn about the round mahogany table before you. Despite the two hours you’ve been studying, you were no better off than when you began. Dramatically sighing, you fall back against Solomon’s plush red couch, hoping the cushions swallow you whole. 

Simeon chuckles from where he is seated to your right, “Penny for your thoughts, Little Lamb?”

Pouting, you dejectedly cross your arms over your chest, “I just don’t understand! How are you guys able to memorize this stuff?”

Solomon is perched in a matching red loveseat further to the right of you and Simeon. He shuts his own textbook, shaking his head with a small smile, “It gets easier the more you practice.”

“Easy for the who-knows-how-old sorcerer to say. I wouldn’t even know where to begin to practice. I don’t even have any magical abilities…” You lament.

Simeon is next to shut his textbook, “Why don’t we take a break? Returning with fresh eyes might help.”

You nod, bringing your legs up so that you can sit crisscross. Curse Levi for luring you into a gaming marathon. Lucifer is going to kill you if you fail this test. 

Never one to care about awkward silence, Solomon says, “It’s nice to have you visit us here in Purgatory Hall. We hardly get to see you outside of classes,”

“I’m sorry. Ever since Lilith was revealed to be my ancestor, it’s like the brothers are around every corner. I think the only time I’ve been alone is when I’m in the bathroom.” You joke, though the humor doesn’t reach your eyes. 

Simeon’s soft gloved hand squeezes your shoulder, “It’s okay to want privacy. We all need to be alone from time to time.”

“I never expected I would become so involved in demon life, you know? I’ve yet to learn anything about you and Luke or the Celestial Realm.”

“Are you saying you don’t want to know about me?” Solomon asks with mock hurt in his voice, hand splayed against his chest as if wounded.

You giggle, “Oh, finally gonna tell me your secrets, huh?”

Solomon chuckles before throwing a wink your way, “Nice try.”

“If you want to know about the Celestial Realm,” Simeon says, turning to face you completely, “Go ahead and ask. You have my full attention.”

“Oh, uh…” You tap your chin in thought, “I guess, what rules exist for angels? Do angels make pacts; can they be summoned?”

“Angels are forbidden from interfering in the lives of humans unless our Father explicitly tells us to. He did give humans free will after all, and if our presence is known, it disrupts the choice you are given. He wants you to willfully follow him,” Simeon explains, “So no, we do not make pacts, although we can be summoned, but it takes powerful magic to do so.”

You nod along, “So someone like Solomon?”

The sorcerer interjects, “Believe me, I’ve tried, but Michael refuses to answer my calls.”

“To be fair, last time he let you visit, half of his army fell sick from your cooking,” Simeon counters.

Solomon shrugs, “It tasted fine to me.”

Ignoring the queasiness in your stomach at the thought of Solomon’s cooking, you return your attention to Simeon. “Is there a hierarchy to angels? I know Lucifer was pretty important.”

“There is but not in the way most humans think of hierarchies. Angels are sorted based on how closely they work with Father. The “higher” angels, like Mammon was as a Throne, work closely with Father while “lower” angels like myself and Luke work closer to Earth and Humanity. However, we are all of equal status, though some angels are granted more power to help keep order.”

“Really?? Mammon in charge?! I love the guy but he’s not the most responsible person.” Your mind pictures the demon decked in white, a stern pout on his face as he tries to boss the other angels around. It makes you laugh.

Joining your laughter, Solomon remarks, “Knowing how air-headed he can be, it was probably for the better that he was kept away from humans. Who knows what trouble he would have caused.”

Sliding off your left shoe, you then playfully chuck it at the sorcerer, “Hey! Only I can make fun of him!”

Solomon merely catches your shoe and sticks his tongue out at you. You do the same.

“Children, please,” Simeone sighs, though you can see the twinkle of amusement in his eyes. 

Ever since coming to RAD, Simeon has been uprooted from the destiny he was created for. He has told you a few stories about his work; going incognito in the Human world to train Luke in the ways of salvation, guiding “lost lambs” back to their paths, and creating a ripple effect of harmony.  

Now he attends class in a world not meant for celestial beings, studying alongside his former brothers. You asked him if the Devildom changed them. Yes, he said, but their foundations had remained the same. 

Here at RAD, there are only two humans here for him to guide. Solomon needs relatively little guidance, though with the strange aura emanating from the man, Simeon does not mind keeping his distance. Then there’s you, sweet and naive, only knowing of angels and demons once you were thrust into their world. 

You wonder if that’s why he always jumps at the chance to help you when you seem stressed. Humans in need is his domain. Does it feel natural, comfortable even, to help you?

Shaking your head from your thoughts, you press on with your questions. 

“All of you refer to the same ‘Father’. I know the brothers aren’t blood-related, but instead created at the same time. Does that make them your brothers too? Actually, would all angels be considered siblings?”

Simeon’s face lights up with a delighted smile, “That’s a great way of thinking about it! The specifics are a bit more complicated. I’m not saying you aren’t smart, but since the Celestial Realm exists outside of the same reality as your world, it might be difficult to explain concepts that don’t exist in your reality.”

“If you’re all related then I guess you couldn’t date each other.”

Solomon snorts into his hand as Simeon flusters out, “Pardon??”

“I mean, what do you do for relationships, or are those forbidden for angels?” You ask, side-eyeing Solomon from your seat. 

“W-Well, uhm,” Simeon scratches nervously at the back of his neck, “Some of my fellow angels have mentioned having relations with humans when they visit their world?”

Tilting your head in confusion, you ask, “Isn’t that what got Lilith in trouble though? Falling in love with a human?”

Simeon squirms in his seat, face heating up, wondering how– if– he should explain further. 

With an exuberant chuckle, Solomon beats him to it. “He means the angels fuck.”

Your eyes go wide as you wildly scramble toward Simeon. “WAIT! YOU GUYS ARE ALLOWED TO FU-”

One hand holds the back of your head while the other covers your mouth. “It’s not that simple, and please don’t yell,” Simeon grumbles, flashing Solomon a murderous look.

You pry the hand from your mouth. “What’s not simple about fucking?” You ask with a teasing lilt.

Simeon wants to run, to retreat into his bedroom before this goes further. He can’t entertain this line of questioning. Not when you’re leaning towards him in a uniform skirt that’s riding up your thighs. Not when he can feel the warmth of your breath. Not with Solomon here. Instead, Simeon falls silent.

The poor angel, however, is not subtle. 

You had noticed all session how his eyes would drift over your form, quickly glancing away when his gaze would land on your thighs. Once, his eyes flitted from your thighs back up to your face, only to see you looking back. His face flushed as he quickly forced himself back into his work, admonishing himself for getting caught.

Simeon looks identical to then, blush spreading across his nose and cheeks. His eyes are glued to the floor, hands pressed into fists in his lap. He doesn’t see the look you and Solomon share, a silent agreement, and a plan being instantly formed. 

Solomon stands from his seat, moving to sit next to the angel, which forces you both to scoot to accommodate him. He stretches his arm over the back of the couch, partially leaning in over Simeon’s lap as if he needs to share an urgent secret with you. Mirroring him, you lean in to meet him halfway, noses almost bumping. Simeon is trapped underneath you two, pressed into the couch’s cushioned back. 

“Do you know the dos and don'ts of divinity?” The sorcerer whispers, eyes flitting down to where your shirt is unbuttoned. 

“No,” you whisper back, “I’m only human, after all.”

The comment elicits a soft chuckle from Solomon. “An angel's divine purpose is to love and guide humanity, right?”

You nod, though you can’t follow his line of thinking, unsure of how it will lead you to what you both want.

“Let’s simplify it, then. An angel’s divine purpose is to love. As long as their actions are guided by love, then it isn’t sinful.”

Simeon squirms underneath you before sitting up abruptly, requiring you and Solomon to part. He clears his throat. “Yes, well, there you have your answer. Angels can have sex with humans as long as they love them, and as long as they control themselves by never interfering with that human’s defined path.”

“Have you ever had a human you loved like that, Simeon?” You ask, placing your hand on his upper thigh. 

“Yes…” He shivers under your touch, “I mean, no. Well, yes. Yes and no.” 

With his arm still slung on the couch, you watch out of the corner of your eyes as Solomon nestles into the angel’s side. When Simeon reacts and tries to lean away, he ends up pressing his body even closer to yours. Your fingers now dance along his thigh, slipping higher along the inside seam of his pants.

What is she like?

To me, Lilith is very much like a mother. Im sure you could probably guess by how I addressed her in the beginning of this post( which I call her Mother Lilith for personal reasons). She very much holds the energy of a firm mother who cares very much for her children. Lilith is very much stern when she feels the need, but knows when you need her to be gentle. Many times she has been a source of comfort and encouragement for me. If you show her the decency and respect she deserves, she will give it to you in return. If she sees you as her child (or holds you dear in anyway) she will go to distant lengths to protect you or to show your abusers not to mess with you again ( at times on her own accord). There are times where she made things difficult for people who wronged me on her own(probably a lot more I don’t know about). Mother Lilith is extremely supportive and will be there when needed, but she will not coddle you. She will not baby you. I see a lot of practitioners say “ she wont hold your hand” that’s true in a sense. Yes there are things you need to face alone, but a mother wont deny holding your hand if needed, she just wont do things for you. She will empower you to do things with independence. Lilith is definitely the kind of mentor to give you a rude wake up call when you’re not acting like yourself or doing things that wont benefit yourself or others. She is not afraid to be mean and wicked with you if need be.

I have a grand trine in my chart with Lilith in pisces in the 10th house (my moon is also in pisces exact conjunct my mc still in the 9th), Venus in Scorpio in the 6th house, and Jupiter in Cancer on the border of my 1st &2nd , falling in my first. Hi! Thank you for your question, I’m not the most knowledgeable about Grand Trines in a chart, but I know a bit about it so, I will do my best to answer your questions.

Grand Trine in Chart:

A Grand Trine occurs in a birth chart when you have three planets that share the same element; fire, earth, water, or air. They also have to be within 120 degrees of each other.

It typically means that some things come easily to you, that you have effortless strengths, talents, and gifts. Now the element it is in can tell you more about what these are.

Water Trine:

People with their grand trine in water typically have a great intuition and are able to tap into their more sensitive side more easily than others. Their ability to tap into their emotions is their biggest strength, they should use them to make decisions in their life because their emotions are typically their intuition giving them messages.

I want to start off with a little introduction to the story of lilith in her human form.

Lilith was a woman who lived naturally, in the forest with her children and amongst animals. She stayed true to her self and her aura would captivate the men of the city, who at the time were religious and created cults around said religion. Lilith was the woman who did not move like anyone else outside of the village , so this made her magnetic. She was being who she was and men seeing her out and about not connecting with the rest of society they would eventually find ways to where they could control lilith. Lilith being who she was she wouldn't back down, so they painted her the devil. They would taunt her, bully her, abuse her, and do nasty things to her until the great 'death' happen. She became EXACTLY who they made her out to me.

The Devil. Daemon. A spirit that reckons chaos in the world.

Now lilith wasn't always like this, she just had to transform because this scares off the men and the women who cant tame her. Who cant have her. Who have a problem with who she is and try to abuse her again and again.

Her full power came from the shadows of her psyche, and it boasted in full glory once she had enough.

So now, we get to Lilith in the first house. These beings literally could walk a mile in her shoes, because the journey that awaits them is a show that they will never forget.

You are a natural problem to society, because society has been programmed and brainwashed to believe that anyone who does anything outside of the religious doctrine is a serpent of the devil and must be tamed. You are the serpent, but you know waaaay more than what people think. Having to constantly figure out if youre friends truly love you, because youre too different for everyone to be around.

Different is good, but in this world they make it seem terrifying.

When you tap into yourself, you have this untamed magnetic aura that is hard to ignore. One thing that I have mentioned with strong lilith placement holders is that, a lot of your personal power comes from the womb/genital area (sacral) and a little bit in the belly (solar). It shows of a little invisible kind of like a plutonian but it is heavily felt. So no matter how you look or how you dress, people notice this in you and because your raw power is near the sacral (womb/genital) area peoples psyche automatically think (sex) because the power is in your sexual energy!

You might of had a deal of people thinking you wanted to have sex, or was being seductive. Even when you weren't, and then when you tell them thats not whats going on you then have them trying to abuse you for making them 'feel things'. It was all in their imagination and now its your fault. Kind of what they did to lilith.

At some point in time, you go through 'the great death' like lilith and become the darkness of your fears, wounds, and trauma only so you can heal them. You heal through chaos/dark magic. And you are a beckon to those who cannot see in the dark, thats who mama lilith was and is. <3

Boscha Ask: If people like seeing bullies slowly not be jerks, why not allow Boscha to have an arc? It could have been really compelling.

(I accidentally posted this ask when I meant to queue it. Wanted to post it later so sorry the full ask isn't here. I've included the main thrust and relevant parts of the ask for my response.) You're absolutely right that it can be extremely satisfying and worthwhile to watch a bully become a better person. To see them let their guard down and see the worth in others. For them to go from defensive and worried about any weakness to being able to open up.

TOH had one of those already and her name was Amity and we all saw how that worked out right? And she was a genuine, primary member of the cast. THAT'S why I argue that the show in S2 actually used Boscha well. She appeared for a couple gags when it was the right time to do so and otherwise vanished. Her role was after all as a small time antagonist and a marker for Amity's progression. She is not Sasha who has a deep, personal tie to both Anne and who Anne was before Amphibia and that is the point of her existence. That's why I say that after Winging it Like Witches, she has no reason to be here anymore because Amity is past Boscha, past most of Hexide, and this ISN'T Amity's story.

Or hell, how about a different character who after their main narrative use was up decided to stick around, albeit briefly: Lilith. She got mistreated AWFULLY by the show because she got in the way of Hunter's narrative purpose. She couldn't continue to be a character for the sake of the new villain. She could only be a joke. And while Boscha is just the romantic interest's old bestie, this is arguably the second main character of the show's SISTER and the PRIMARY ANTAGONIST of the first season.

Just covering a proper redemption for Amity and letting the fallout of S1 actually have an effect on the show, including what should have been Lilith's rage at Belos, could have easily taken up the main plot of at least half a season. Hell, in the show we got, Lumity IS the focus effectively for S2A plotwise with how little movement is in that half season. S1 sets up threads with just those two, ignoring Eda, Luz and Hunter, that are connected to the world building and drama of the world and plot itself that evaluating it... Making someone who is almost a one off in S1 and a supporting member of a supporting cast member seemed like the wrong move to me even when I was writing her before S2 came out.

And here's the ultimate rub: I AGREE. There IS a story there. I wrote a fuck ton of it with The Power of Love. Little Miss Rich Witch flips main character's perspective over to Amity, not Luz, and makes it her story in an original context. And do you know the part of TOH's identity that story focuses primarily on? The school drama, where a school bully can be a primary, ongoing member of the cast. TOH wants instead to have a plot that's grand fantasy and that's NOT where Boscha lies, even if she would have made sense as a member of the EC eventually.

Which, tangent, for as much fun as Sport in a Storm's scene is with her, I did one off for it at one point, it also creates the problem that Boscha didn't see Hunter and try to sign up for the EC despite having no reason to not want the power that would give her.

The problem with your position is a problem with a part of modern ship culture. You love a character so OF COURSE including them as a main character would have been great for the story overall because you'd get more of them. But... Is that actually true? I love Boscha. I think she had a lot of narrative potential that was never tapped into but that was for the best because this isn't a romantic school drama.

It's an adventure, fantasy comedy and the fact that we got Boscha at all out of that is almost condemnatory of the series as much as it is praising it. Sorry.

How long it took for Luz to learn how to use her powers?

That is something I'm still working out.

I love how Luz being human and needing to use glyphs is such a big part of her story in cannon, so I want to stick to that as long as I can, which is why I initial thought HM would be a good episode for her to unlock the Titan yell.

But now that I've been thinking more about it, I think Luz's powers will start to show up during YBOS, starting with her using the Titan yell during either her fight with Belos or her escape with Eda King and Lilith.

Pre-YBOS all of Luz Titan abilities are passive; stronger senses, an immunity to boiling rain (although for a while everyone just thinks her fur is too thick for the rain to get through) and a perfect memory for glyph combos.

Between YBOS and WAD is where things are still extremely nebulous, so I'm gonna skip ahead to after Papa Titan has fully passed on bc I have that a bit more nailed down.

Luz doesn't keep the full-grown Titan power after he passes, but she will eventually get back to that way in the future. I think I'm gonna have her inherit Papa Titans glyphs, so those still work, but they might be weaker since now it's fully Luz's power and not coming from a full grown Titan anymore, but I'm still working that out.

Oh! Being in the Human Realm does initially cut off most of Luz's magic. Since she's using Papa Titans glyphs and tapping into his power on the Boiling Isles, her own inherent power got stunted.

But being in the Human Realm finally gives her power a chance to grow.

In that cute Lumity dancing in the rain thing, when Amity makes her light spell, I was thinking of having Luz put her fingertip to Amity's and them drawing the circle together (something Luz would do with Amity and Willow when they were all younger to see if she could learn spells that way), and Luz's magic sort of half works, and combines with Amity's spell and even altering the shape of the light spell.

Okay but now that it's happened a few times, we really need to talk about the red drippings coming from people's mouths.

Because of Poison, people were theorizing it was Valentino's poison referenced in the song, but I'm not so sure. The reasoning was that it appeared on Angel during Poison, and even Vox when he showed up, plus it earlier appeared on Vox in Ep 2 during and after talking with Val.

There were two moments during Stayed Gone that threw me off this theory, though. The first was when Vox was on the jumbo screen a good while after speaking with Vox - why would his poison disappear then suddenly re-appear, and especially why would it re-appear long after he's gone? Maybe because once you're under his thrall, it can pop back up whenever it fits?

But then Alastor's final part kicked in, and as he's going into full demon mode, a whole bunch of the same red stuff starts full salivating out of his jaws. Why? He has no connection to Valentino, no reason why Valentino would be controlling him in this moment. Maybe his saliva just so happens to match the poison's color? Or maybe it can affect people who haven't even met Valentino? Or maybe, even Valentino and Alastor do have a connection we haven't seen yet, which is when the poison was first planted?

But then I noticed it happen again in these new episodes, and what do you know, now Valentino is starting to drip red from the mouth! What?! But isn't it supposed to be his special poison to use on others? Now why is he getting the same treatment? It's not like he tried using it on anyone in the scene, iirc. It just suddenly started dripping as he angrily left Angel Dust.

Sure, maybe it could be backfiring on him now, but let's just look back at every instance so far. Angel Dust's song about resenting his life. Vox going crazy over his rivalry with Alastor, having to deal with Valentino, and maybe even resenting Angel Dust (depending on how you interpret his look in the song). Alastor firing back at Vox and going full power. Valentino getting enraged over Angel Dust's defiance and being unable to fully fire back.

There has to be some common theme we're missing - some deeper trigger and meaning to the red drip. Is it negative emotion? But Alastor seemed to be having fun, unless it was a facade. It can't be tapping into demon powers / trying to repress the powers, since Angel Dust wasn't really doing anything like that. Is it like I suggested before - that there are multiple red drips that look alike but are in fact not connected?

I don't really have proof right now, but there are two possible theories that I just have a gut feeling towards, which came to me when it first happened to Valentino in Ep 6.

The first is: what if it's Lilith? I don't know how or why yet, but Lilith secretly doing something and having control over demons just feels right to me. Given how she seemed in the latest flashback - as well as what's been said in the intro narration - I'm wondering if Lilith isn't so admirable as she seems and maybe even has evil intentions for the future. Some have already theorized that all the musical numbers are also due to her influence or something like that, which I also wanna put stock in. It could be both, even.

The second is more general: that there's just something about Hell or being a sinner that causes this red drip to happen, and it's going to play a role in the future. Even if I'm wrong about why it happens and where it comes from, I'm still willing to bet with how many times it's happened by now and all the various situations and characters, it is going to eventually be pointed out by someone and become important.

If there's other moments of the red drip I've missed, please let me know. It's such a subtle detail and I've already been reminded of just how many times it showed up on Vox, especially during Stayed Gone. I could've sworn it happened on someone other than Valentino during the new episodes, but now I can't remember and only wanted to include the examples I could verify.

BACK AGAIN with the astrology Okay, so Taylor’s chart is a little less straight forward than Nick’s (because capricorns are repressed), he’s a Capricorn which is off to an interesting start already. so in the events of Lesson 16, Xhura was the one who was sent back in time to find out how Belphegor got free — & thus he was the one who was killed, & who Barbatos reversed the death of by choosing a reality in which he never died at all

but something wasn't right. Xhura kept having dreams & recollections of the reality where he died, even after Barbatos said the residual magical knowledge from time-traveling should have faded. they eventually discovered that Xhura was somehow caught between the two realities; one where he died & one where he didn't — which led to him repeatedly falling into these magical 'coma'-like episodes where his body was for all intents & purposes dead, but he was still awake & conscious in his mind, just trapped

the only way any of them could figure to fix this was if Barbatos made a pact with Xhura & agreed to share his power over manipulating reality — where Xhura could tap into it himself & just 'pick' the reality where he never died

only Xhura ended up tapping into way more than anyone would have expected. he was already terrified of returning to the human world after the exchange program ended because he had nothing & no one to return to. yes he could have made a home with Ayla but he'd come to love & embrace the Devildom so much in his short time there that he was already willing to do anything to find a reason to stay there

& tapping into Barbatos' power gave him the push he didn't know he needed to turn his burning wish into a reality

the official explanation is that Xhura — who was a descendant of Lilith on his mother's side like Ayla was on her father's side — wanted to belong in the Devildom so badly that the part of him that was Lilith's angelic blood 'fell' much like the brothers themselves when they were cast into the Devildom

it started with a pair of cosplay horns Levi gifted Xhura as a coping mechanism following the aftermath of his pact with Barbatos, which he was warned would cause the equivalent of a severe depressive episode. they were just clip-ons, but Xhura loved them so much that they eventually manifested into the real deal

& then other circumstances led to the wings, & other other circumstances led to the tail — which led to Xhura having to conceal one over the other since no demon in recorded history has had both. he went a little overboard on the 'belonging'

& that's how Barbatos realized that Xhura was unconsciously & unknowingly using his ability to manipulate reality to transform himself into someone who truly did belong in the Devildom — a demon

believe it or not that's the shortened explanation of everything — since it doesn't cover Diavolo's mother (Xhura's ancestor on his father's side) who was the first human to transform herself into a demon — but there you have it!
