Your writing of the gods’ interactions and relationships with each other in “The Doll and the Dragon” is so on point that I wouldn’t be surprised if it was revealed that Cra and Sadida have a great relationship with each other BECAUSE OMG CRA SINGS A NATURE SONG IN WAVEN.
She actually sings four songs but the first one called “Nature” is literally just her singing about, you guessed it, NATURE. Something that she isn’t supposed to be talking about, let alone sing, given her role!
Tumblr media
All the songs that she sings are in English by the way. No matter if you change the language when playing, it doesn’t matter. The song stays in English.
She sings how she and the people will be welcomed by nature and be protected by it.
This girlie is literally singing a whole ass song about it!! SHE’S THE ONLY ONE DOING THIS SHE’S OBVIOUSLY FRIENDS WITH THE TREE MAN-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CRA AND SADIDA HAVING THE CLOSEST FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN THE GODS CONFIRMED ‼️😭‼️😭‼️😭‼️😭‼️💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛
(I just love the idea that one of the MANY reasons why Cra likes him is probably due to the fact that he might just be the only one in the god group who doesn’t oversexualize her to no end since he’s a literal plant lol)
Hello, again!!
Thank you so much for your kind words and OMG THIS IS AMAZING????
Not gonna lie, one of the reasons I wrote Cra and Sadida as close friends is mostly to reflect canon. Both as a reflection of Amalia and Eva's bond until I get to introduce our blonde bombshell into the AU and also because the Cra and Sadida are close allies by virtue of the Cras stationed in the kingdom back in season one and their use of Sadida wood to make their bows.
It'd just make sense if their symbiotic relationship were an extension of their gods' own friendship, you know?
Honestly, maybe this is me being biased given my love for Amalia and her people, but Sadida is also my favourite god. I'm not saying he is without flaws, since his own involvement in the Lacrima debacle is almost as iffy as Iop's role in it, but he seems to be chill overall?
The fact that all his daughters were literally made by him as opposed to the rest of the demigods, moreover, the fact that he actually wanted them to live with him in Inglorium when most, if not all, other demigods are left to their own devices on the World of Twelve sort of speaks volumes about his true character.
He seems like an involved father for the most part.
Maybe it is because he is indeed a plant, but his not having countless children proves he has less of a wandering eye than most gods. So it'd only make sense that he doesn't hypersexualise Cra, as you said.
In fact, you can see his true nature (pun non-intended) through his people: the Sadida and their powers clearly take inspiration from voodoo which, while far more complex than TV will have you believe, does have a bad rep. And yet the Sadida are the kindest dark magic users you'll ever find. They're a peaceful kingdom more concerned with protecting their forests than waging war.
And I just love that for them.
So yeah, I'm going to be pretty smug if it turns out Cra and Sadida are besties.

I think people took the "hey, you should be aware of issues about the way some stories treat it's female characters" and instead of actually going forward and treating these characters as, well, characters that deserve to be fairly analized
they went backwards and put up impossibly high standards for these female characters and made anything remotely sexual about them regardless of context as "it is evil and bad writing" when they wouldn't ever do the same for the male characters.
They don't even bat an eye for the fact that whole fandoms will absolutely ADORE a guy who is either the most vile asshole in the story or straight up a bland nothing as long as he is generically attractive enough.
Like that's just misogyny but "girlbossed" now.
(I kind of went on a ramble here, I won't lie and I apologize for that. I just.. had a lot to say.)
And I definitely agree with you, Anon.
I made that same point that you stated in this point right here in a post I wrote a while back.
The same people who will say "it's bad writing" are the same people who don't take the time out to analyze a female character.
It's not "bad writing". You just don't want to understand her.
A male character can have the exact same traits as her and can be analyzed and "He's just misunderstood" and adored, but the most that female character can get is the bare minimum from the fandom.
I have my male faves, too, that I like to analyze. But don't the female cast also deserves the attention, too?
Everyone who follows me know I am a big Miruko fan. And I love her more now because over the past... 2 years or so I have written posts about her of why she probably acts the way she does or does the things she do. And it came easy to me.
Mind you, she is a minor character. She doesn't have a lot of screen time and we don't much about her backstory unless you have read Vigilantes where she gets a flashback arc. And even with all the little information she has from canon, analyzing her was fun for me.
Analyzing her actually why it's fun for me when I do so for Yuji.
It's just there.
Let's say a female character is comfortable with her own sexuality and femininity. "Slut, whore, oversexualized". But the same people who apply those terms to male characters in a more positive way.
"Such a slutty waist, look at him so sexy, he's such a whore and I'm here for it".
So let me get straight. A woman can be a sexy character, but a man can even those that aren't even all that sexy.
Again, I'm using Miruko as an example.
People will have grievances over her costume but were so quick to be horny over the male characters wearing that same costume. Which, and I know some of you ain't gonna like, some of them did not look good in.
Also, then what about the male hero costumes or the fact that Shigaraki and Dabi are obvious fanservice now? You're telling me you're okay with the fact that Endeavor and All Might's costumes are super tight but Miruko shows some skin and it's a problem?
Oh, I'll give another example of some fandom misogyny.
Maki Zenin. The JJK fandom be pulling some tomfuckery when it comes to her. "She's such a girlboss". Okay, but you feel sympathize or empathize with her? "Oh my gosh, Sukuna is gonna kill her!" So, let me get this straight. Even though others who have been hit with Black Flash has survived, Maki the one female victim of it is going to die from that one blow? Whose body is pretty much a cheat code against cursed energy? That Maki? That one?
Let's not forget, you can bring her up without someone bringing up Yuta! I wrote a post about her and Nobara and someone goes "At least, Maki loves Yuta, right?" THIS IS NOT ABOUT YUTA!! GOOD GRIEF, CAN THIS BE ABOUT THE FEMALE CHARACTERS FOR ONCE? LIKE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WITH THAT!!
And Yuki! Sooo... y'all are upset that Gege killed her off, right? Okay, understanding. I like Yuki, too. With that said... um... then why in the fuck did I have to type a Yuki Lives tag for her despite her being dead in the manga since December 2022? Almost 2 years? There are currently 3 fics with that tag and two of them are mine!
Kaori, oh, the fandom doesn't love you enough! I had to type in a tag for her! There was no Itadori Kaori & Itadori Yuji tag! THAT IS STILL HIS MOM?! "But Kenjaku---" Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is still Kaori's body, right? If Choso states he has three parents, then Yuji can, too. Guess what, Kaori is his mother. People love to make sure others know Kenjaku and Suguru are separate people but what about Kaori? You don't think she was her own person?
From Wasuke's words and behavior, I figure she was different than how Kenjaku acted.
Anyways!!
Also, with Delicious in Dungeon! I haven't even watched or read it and I have seen so many posts about how that one helmet guy had a lot of panty shots and loving it, yet I hear about people having problems with Falin and Marcille being sexualized? Makes no sense to me, it just doesn't.
It's like people in fandoms want something involving female characters just to bash those female characters.
Complex female characters - insult them
Female characters is written to have a variety of personalities and backstory - boring, shifts focus to more bland male characters
Female character exist with many characteristics - fandom focuses on one trait and make that her whole personality
Female character just exists - labeled just one single word, not worthy of any attention, post about her and someone will make it about a male character
Just... honestly, I feel like before you call a creator a "misogynist", how about taking a step back and observe how you treat female characters and understand the story in which those female characters come from?

ATLA Live Action Stream of Consciousness (Episode 2, Part 1).
Hang on this show is rated PG? Did they not see the people burning alive last episode?
The fire nation theme with a full orchestra goes so hard. I need Azula’s version too.
Zuko tearing up the room looking for his fucking diary while Iroh just fails to calm him down is peak 16 year old and his dad core and I’m living for it. I, too, want to smash stuff when my beloved things go missing.
Zuko’s right, Aang is a coward which is good because he’s nuanced! Now the show should acknowledge that.
We’re going to Kyoshi island yay!
Another good Katara monologue. They seem to have grasped the hopeful aspect of her character well (and it’s clearly in Kiawentiio’s acting wheelhouse). Now let her break stuff!
Wait if Aang can fly why did he fall out of the sky in the last episode?
On the Waterbending Scroll: @juniperhillpatient talked about this in a great post so I’ll link that here.
The Gyatso memorial was a really nice touch. I think Gordon’s acting was slightly flat (emphasis on slightly) but the way his voice broke on the last line broke me. Since it’s the first time I’ve had anything bad to say about his acting, I’ll give it a pass.
I will say idk if it’s sets of CGI but the whole setting is gorgeous. I’m glad their budget let them add in those details that we didn’t get in the cartoon.
Yay Iroh comedy! Give him more!
They nailed Zuko and Iroh’s dynamic. No complaints. Also since the main trio is less funny (which is fine) the comic relief is much needed.
Kyoshi Warrior makeup looks awesome!
Ooh Suki’s mom is here! And Suki getting some more background/development, always love! Not sure if I would have called “kindness” one of her core traits but it’s not like she wasn’t kind. She didn’t have much characterization to begin with besides “cool strong girl!” so I like that she gets a softer side.
Sokka’s fangirling over Suki this is cute and also hilarious. And Suki is EVISCERATING him with her skills.
Iroh is comedy gold (makes sense since I know this actor has a background in comedy) This episode overall is lighter which I think is a nice break since last episode was pretty intense.
Zhao seems like less of an asshole right off the bat. Is he sneaky or just watered down? (Like Katara-no I won’t shut up about her).
Shirtless Sokka was not necessary I want everyone to stay far away from over sexuality the teenage characters I don’t care that some of them look over Netflix don’t Netflix this.
I like that we’re expressing Aang’s grief more overtly. Something the original couldn’t do.
I find Aang and Katara’s friendship really wholesome.
Katara talking about Aang knowing how to connect…BUT THAT WAS KATARA’S THING. Why are they taking her good traits and giving them to her male friends istg.
Suki is so cool I love her definitely no character crush here. Her literally being like “I like this boy. Obviously the logical choice is to show him my fighting skills” she’s so real for that.
“Only justice will bring peace” - please tell me Katara being the one to read that line is important because thematically it’s a very Katara line.
Aang’s backstory with people being scared of him and losing control is an interesting new touch that I think could be used really well. (Also seeing some Azula parallels especially with the “lucky” thing but I don’t think I’m that lucky).
I do miss Sokka’s Kyoshi Warrior uniform. The tension though! A little more of a mature tone than the original and idk how much I want to lean into sexual tension of any kind but the characters are 16 so I thiiink I’m okay with this but NETFLIX IF YOU OVERSEXUALIZE THEM ALL I WILL COME FOR YOU!!
Part 2 coming soon!

seeing some people's reaction to weird gamer men oversexualizing kiriko is "mauga is right there, half naked, with serveral pin-up sprays" and while i do agree to an extent, i do feel like alot of people are kind of ignoring like. the racial element of mauga's sexualization, like i like mauga, he's hot, but the second i saw him in the short story, i wasn't a big fan of the whole "big savage brown indigenious guy" and it feels like very few people are pointing that out.
RIGHT LIKE. we cannot fix "gamer men fixate on fictional asian girls to a violent degree, usually in a racist way or enabling racist tropes already present in the character" with "gamer girls fixate on fictional brown men to a violent degree in a racist way or enabling racist tropes present in the character" like you guys are part of the same problemmmmmmm youre doing the same thinggg its not better because youre doing it to men like.
i think some people only want to see the kiriko problem as misogyny and while im not going to even pretend that ISNT a massive part of it, theres still like. a reason kiriko and d.va and mei are fascinations for these dudes. there is a pointed difference between the way these three get spoken about compared to their white counterparts (and their dark-skinned counterparts too - look at the responses to illari for a really easy comparison to how kiriko is treated). their ~exoticism~ as asian women is part of the appeal. even if you dont just wanna take the way dudes online treat them (like making a joke that shes "obvious pornbait" for speaking japanese and using JSL) as evidence of that, look at their marketing. kirikos whole thing is atheleisure traditional, shes got her Mystical Japanese Spiritualism Ninja Powers and her magic doggy and they constantly put her in japanese and korean fashion, and dva has been constantly crossing over with korean merch companies. i cant help but notice theres no brazilian IP crossovers or merch launches for lucio, or any attempt to Sell Peru To Gamers for illari. they couldnt even pick a town in Samoa to name maugas map after. these people wouldn't buy that stuff because it's not fetishized in the same way asia is.
but like. a lot of the people trying to Gotcha these racist dudes with an asian fetish just whip out their favourite racist tropes instead and its a really bad look. like you guys dont wanna examine how your examples of The Characters Its Okay To Hypersexualize are all brown? even the people who wanna fuck cassidy dont talk about him like this. or like. fuck if you want a good comparison for mauga lets look at roadhog. big half-naked tank who theyve been playing up a sexual energy/comic relief duology on since day one with racially insensitive cosmetic options. nobody treats it like its completely normal to talk about him that way. the dev team isnt pushing pinups of him out. he isnt flexing his boobs in trailers. hes a white dude*, so he gets the bare minimum dignity of being treated normally. incidentially hot, maybe, but for the most part his character is sold on being cool , funny and scary. mauga is being sold 50% on being a Sexy Rogue Love Interest and 50% on. releasing late. they put in so little effort for him to be anything else despite hyping him up as suuuper significant to the lore and a major gamechanger its almost embarrassing to watch. (this is why that short annoyed me so much for anyone keeping track).

Why do you hate Erza? Is it because she's oversexualized, or is there more to it?
I don't really interact with Fairy Tail anymore so this response is going to be a lot less impassioned than it would have been back in my heyday. In the end, I hate Erza because she's boring.
Fairy Tail being what it is, there isn't that much difference between a fireball and a sword, and Erza really just stands as Mashima's cornerstone writing habits all rolled into one: power of friendship over everything else, Fairy Tail always has it and other people don't, and no real effort put into justifying wins--and therefore the fights as a whole.
The romance with Jellal doesn't help. You go through my blog for two or three minutes and you'll understand that I've always been aggravated by Jellal's ceaseless (and detrimental) presence in the manga and how he's permitted to behave while whining about his sins, which never received the weight they deserved beyond absolving him of them. There's not really much to showcase an attraction or even a star-crossed lovers angle between him and Erza after a while, because all of the tragedy of their romance happened early in the manga and from around the GMG arc onward, there wasn't a real reason why they shouldn't be together if they wanted to so badly, especially since everyone who didn't like Jellal (Kagura and Milliana) were cast as in the wrong.
Like Fairy Tail as a whole, Erza's never permitted to make mistakes, lose, or really look bad at all, and since she (along with Natsu) gets by far the most attention and presence in Fairy Tail's struggles, she gets a large chunk of the aggravation with those issues.
Sexualization is just a cherry on top. Mashima is pretty much the Google Definition of "horny mangaka who can't write with two hands" and the very overwhelming level of sexuality (and how every situation seems to twist to include tiddies somehow) is present everywhere in the manga and with every female character--but it's Erza who is cast as a warrioress and a knight, so when it hits her it crosses with the western world's long-established exhaustion with men only seeming to enjoy 'strong' women if they also look highly fuckable--you know, the 'armor with tiddies' and 'butch action girl wearing heels' problems.
Fairy Tail is a very simple manga, basically.

Updated thoughts on where I’m at with “Persona 5″ (palace 3, I just need to send the calling card out):
1) My party rankings: Morgana > Makoto > Ryuji > Ann > Yusuke
Morgana is my prime healer, so he’s at the top of my list. Makoto is a great all-around character (her “nuke everybody” skill really comes in clutch). Ryuji is great at offense.
Ann...she’s fine but I feel like I’d rather have Ryuji or Makoto on my team. She’s great as a backup.
Yusuke, I hate to say this, is my least favorite mainly because he tends to die/get critically injured. I don’t know why this keeps happening since no matter how much I upgrade Yusuke, he gets his ass beat.
/
2) Not the biggest fan of how the game approaches the female characters. There’s this uncomfortable feeling of oversexualization, which stands out since the same can’t be said about the male characters.
Ann’s whole character is that she’s seen only as as a sex object by Kamoshida and the student body. The story is technically fine since it’s about her standing up for herself and taking down her abuser...but the game undermines her story by having the heroes also objectify her (ex.: Yusuke forcing Ann to do nude modeling for him, Ryuji and Morgana trying to look up Ann’s skirt when she was sleeping). So, when the villains do it, it’s bad, but when the heroes do it, it’s good?
Makoto’s character arc is a bit better, but still has some uncomfortable, skeevy undertones. If you fail palace 3, apparently Makoto will be forced to work as a prostitute or something. And then there’s the fact that the villain wants to keep Makoto’s sister as a slave (they don’t say “sex slave”, but the implication is there).
You know...I would’ve loved the option to customize Joker/Ren/Akira, especially being able to play as a female Joker. But now I’m wondering if that’d be a good idea considering this is how Atlus is treating their female characters.
/
3) I’m not 100% sold on the storyline just yet. Now that I have a better grasp of what’s going on, I’m not really feeling what the story is trying to do. I mean, yes, we are the Phantom Thieves. We’re a vigilante group that goes around “stealing” people’s hearts and making them change their ways. What I’m not convinced about is that we’re being treated like actual criminals.
Like...if we get caught, what the fuck are we gonna get charged with? “Joker, you’re under arrest for stealing the physical embodiment of the person’s desires. Also, apparently for trespassing as well since you entered the Upside Down through your iPhone without permission”. And the fact that everyone is going along with the “Phantom Thieves are actual criminals” perspective without questioning things is just baffling to me.
This is lowkey reminding me of “Trauma Center”, another Atlus game. The story in that game was also pretty far-fetched and unbelievable, so that just might be Atlus’ way of writing stories.
Also, maybe the story irks me in particular since I’m a lawyer-in-training. I’m just imagining myself in court defending the Phantom Thieves, yelling at the prosecution, “WHAT ARE THEY BEING CHARGED WITH?! THEY DIDN’T BREAK AN ACTUAL LAW!”
/
4) Palace 2 is definitely my favorite setting so far. Palace 1 began to annoy the shit out of me, especially with the music, while Palace 3 is just...okay. Palace 2 was very creative and I liked how the artist storyline meshed into the game
/
Okay, that’s it so far. Will update again once I finish palace 3.

14, 19, 28, 30, 36 & 38 for the FE asks
oooh lots of questions! i'll put them under a cut to spare everyone's dashboards from how long this will probably get lol
14. Something you really don't like about this series?
Hm.. Less about the series I guess, and more of the general treatment of female characters- The oversexualization of them particularly. I get having fanservice, but alot of what the games do is just 😬 We respect women in this house, they deserve better- AND if we're gonna fanservice WHERE is the equality? Sexualize the men too. Also, having thousands year old characters looking 12....
19. Favorite (canon) pairing?
Obviously (m)Corrin and Niles- Of course they are canon, IS hasn't come out and said they're not, so who's to say they aren't 👀 it's my playthrough and i get to decide the canon ships! and who am I, if not the walking talking kamu//zero propaganda machine? I mean that's why I'm drawing them all the time lol. I genuinely hope they get an alt together in feh the way Chrom and Robin did earlier this year.
In terms of pairs that are 100% canon in game, I do adore Louise and Pent! What sweethearts!
Also big fan of ~heavily implied~ Eliwood and Ninian uwu
28. Because this fandom doesn't see enough discourse [citation needed], post a spicy hot take here🔥🔥
oh geez I gotta come up with another spicy hot take- lets see. ah- avatar characters are in fact their own characters, none of them are "self inserts" despite having customization options, because they all have their own distinct personalities. also, while you can have a preference for one version over the other, ultimately male and female versions are the same, because they're literally the same character so it's pretty dumb to hate one version while holding up the other one over the same traits- (ex. i have seen people hate m!corrin for being "too emotional" while in the same breath adored f!corrin for being "a strong and emotional protagonist" they're... they are the same character. and people do this with all the avatar units smh)
30. Since horse abuse is currently popular on Tumblr, beat up a dead horse with your take on an oversaturated topic🐴
*leans into mic* Edelgard, while in fact being a very strong and interesting female character, is still the villain of 3h. And that's okay, you are allowed to enjoy villain characters, free yourselves from needing to justify everything your fave does and just enjoy baddies. Liking villains doesn't make you a bad person. Also her being bi does not excuse or justify anything she does?? Rhea is also a bisexual lead in the same game so. Ya know. Also potentially Byleth as well depending on player choices-
36. Share a funny FE-related story, either ingame or not!
I think I've told this one already, so sorry if you're seeing it again- But this is a favorite moment of mine. One (1) time I didn't marry Niles in a Conquest playthrough, for the sake of finally seeing Nina right? So I had Niles go after her, iirc he was closest, and she says something like "you'll never catch me daddy! >:(" and Niles, hitting a fucking crit, "you can't hide from me!" and oneshot poor Nina- I sat there like
Tumblr media
thankfully you can recruit her by defeating her, but MAN what a moment. I was shocked then, but I find it very funny looking back.
38. Freebie! Talk about whatever you want 🐉⚔
Outside of Smash, FE was introduced to me by some friends. And the series has introduced me to so many more so, I'm really happy for that! As rough as the community can get, I'm glad for all the people the series has connected me with. And the games themselves have brought me so much joy. Also, love seeing the shining creativity in the community, in art, fic, cosplay, analysis, etc. 😊

Jack Tripper x Fem Reader- "I'd Rather Jack"
Now here's someone I really don't usually write about...
You mean I'm now typing a fanfic not about a professional  wrestler?
I've had a crush on John Ritter recently, and since June is Pride Month and John Ritter will mostly always be remembered for playing Jack Tripper on "Three's Company", which was a show about a man who pretends to be gay in front of his landlords while he lives with 2 women, that's why I'm posting this fanfic.
______________________________________________________________
Before "Married With Children", "Two and a Half Men", "Family Guy" and even the World Wrestling Federation's Attitude era and the WWE's Ruthless Aggression era, there was "Three's Company".
"Three's Company" was an iconic, groundbreaking sitcom about a man who lives with 2 female room mates and pretends to be gay in front of his landlords.
"Three's Company" was a show that was controversial in its heyday for being raunchy and filled with tawdry sex jokes.
It had a lot of oversexualized women, sexual innuendo and double entendre.
But this moment doesn't quite exactly have innuendo and double entendre.
On a "Three's Company" episode in 1978, this episode involved Jack Tripper meeting you somewhere, and of course he was enamored and in lust with you.
When he offered to spend some time with you, he asked if he could stay at where you live, due to his fear that his landlords might hear what you and he might end up doing.
Jack was skeptical of asking to stay at your home, considering his fear that maybe you might end up living in a really bad place, maybe you might even live in an apartment and your landlords will hear what you and Jack might be doing, you could also be lying about living in a nice place.
Hearing that his name is Jack made you think of something you wanted to say to him, as well as something you wanted to do to him.
During the middle of this episode, you and Jack were standing next to each other inside the living room where your character lives.
No one else was in the living room or outside of it besides you and Jack, and that's a good thing considering what you plan on doing with him.
It turns out your home really wasn't that bad and you didn't live in an apartment, thank God.
Jack didn't have bangs dangling on his forehead, his bangs were swept sideways while his hair looked slightly long, and that's a good thing considering you love the way Jack/John Ritter looks when he doesn't have bangs.
Jack/John Ritter looked sexy AF in this episode, especially in this scene you're sharing with him in his living room.
While you stood next to him, you had a naughty smirk on your face and your head slightly tilted sideways while you stared at him.
Since you and Jack seem to be alone, now is seemingly your chance to say what you wanted to say to him.
"Since your name is Jack" you mentioned while you leaned your body closer to him, your mouth still having that smirk. "Can I jack you off?"
Your eyes looked into his eyes when you asked if you could masturbate him, you placed the tip of your index finger on his chest and slid it up and down his chest, your voice tried sounding sexy when you asked him that question.
The audience watching this was surprised hearing that considering that's such a dirty term, but they shouldn't be surprised since "Three's Company" was a show filled with so much sexual innuendo and content.
However, some people in the audience chuckled and laughed hearing that.
Some women in the audience made high pitched "wooooooooooooo!" noises, like how women in the audience made that noise when 2 people on "Full House" kissed each other.
"Three's Company" was filled with a lot of double entendre, like a woman sheds her bathrobe off to reveal herself in a bikini while Jack holds a champagne bottle, and the cork of his bottle pops open while foamy champagne drips down the bottle to simulate ejaculation.
But you offering to masturbate Jack and making a pun with his name, how could you use a double entendre?
Jack's eyes grew wide when he heard your suggestion, he couldn't exactly find the words to say.
He was speechless over your beauty and your offering, and of course he had an erection growing underneath his pants.
He nearly could fumble to the couch nearby where he's standing.
He definitely wants you to jack him off.
Despite that his eyes grew wide, he did perk up in more ways than one hearing your ask.
"And I'll make you eJACulate?" you asked and added, still having that smirk on your face while your eyes examined up and down his body, from his torso to his face, the tip of your index finger stroking up and down the middle of his would be pectoral muscles.
You put emphasis on the "jack" part when you said ejaculate, for obvious reasons.
Saying "ejaculate" really made the audience watching this really be shocked and surprised, but some people in the audience did laugh whereas other women cheered.
Jack was struggling to find the words to say.
He actually would love it if you masturbated him and made him cum.
He actually chuckled and giggled a bit hearing your asks, whereas you were trying to keep a straight face and trying not to laugh.
"Well?" you asked, your eyes looking in his eyes.
He couldn't really turn you down at all, he just wasn't sure what to say to you.
You'd love to grab and squeeze his crotch while you asked if you could jack him off and make him cum, but grabbing his crotch would be a little racy by 70's standards.
Granted, "Three's Company" was considered racy back in the 70's and 80's.
"Do you live with anyone?" Jack asked.
"No" you promised.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Positive" you confessed, sounding serious like you meant it.
"You know" Jack said. "I often jack off sometimes when I'm alone..."
This made the audience laugh and chuckle hearing that, even though that's not a very good pun.
You and Jack soon walked to your bedroom, where you shut the door.
The audience didn't get to see you giving a handjob to Jack,  but you didn't really get to masturbate him on television, though it was implied.
It was also implied you and Jack did more than just giving him a handjob, despite that the audience didn't hear you and Jack moaning from behind closed doors.
Backstage, when the cameras weren't rolling, you really did jack off John Ritter, sometimes when he roleplays as his Jack Tripper character, and of course you made him ejaculate.
Likewise, you did more than just jack him off.
______________________________________________________________
I really hope that a moment where some woman asks if she can jack off Jack Tripper and make him ejaculate hasn't been done on "Three's Company" already...

okay hi hello it is Late, i am Tired, and i have Thoughts About Dracula And Misogyny and i’m going to make that your problem
i’ve read a lot of things talking about dracula and women, ranging from the role that women play in the story, how the story demonizes women, and how the story is one big example of bram stoker’s misogyny. and oh my GOD this pisses me off so fucking much
i’m not trying to say bram stoker wasn’t a misogynist. i don’t know him. maybe he hated women. but when it comes to female characters who are written by men, lucy and mina are actually uhhhhh pretty fuckin’ dope. or at least nowhere near as bad as other examples. their voices may be similar, sure, but they’re distinct enough that if you give me two excerpts from dracula, one from lucy’s diary and one from mina’s diary, i would be able to venture a guess with a good amount of confidence. there are tonal differences that suit them as characters, and differences in length that remain consistent to their previous characterization. they aren’t the deepest, most multi-layered female characters to exist ever, but they certainly aren’t noticeably less complex than the male characters. like, when you look at the story, it’s kinda centered around them and the men tend to be referred to as “lucy’s suitors” and “mina’s husband” (and then van helsing, resident wacky mentor)
and i also feel like the way someone talks about lucy westenra is just going to be so revealing as to how they view women and femininity. because the amount of things i’ve read that call her “ditzy” and “shallow” and “oversexualized” are alarming. it just makes me wonder, where are they getting these words from? is it because lucy is characterized as a friendly and likable person? is it because she’s shown to be sensitive? is it because she fulfills the role of the damsel in distress? is it because she gets three proposals in one day?
all of the criticism around lucy being an “icon of misogyny” comes back to the fact that she possesses purely feminine traits. she’s sweet, she’s sensitive, and people like her. she’s not physically strong, she’s not a brainiac, and she can’t fight the vampire off on her own. but why does that make her bad representation? there are real women whose strengths don’t lie in physical ability or academic intelligence, and instead lie in their social skills and the ways that they connect with and care about others
(not to mention the whole “woman gets three proposals in one day = whore” conclusion, which is just wrong on so many goddamn levels)
and like, i’m (not) sorry, but what do you WANT from her? do you want her to stand up to van helsing and yell at him? she’s NINETEEN. he has MULTIPLE DEGREES. she is being REGULARLY MENACED BY A SEVERE GOTHIC THREAT. and nobody knows what the fuck a vampire is! not to mention the fact that i don’t think van helsing would actually listen to her even if she did try to stand up to him, regardless of whether or not she knew what she was talking about!
i just have so many thoughts about her. she deserves better than most interpretations, and it’s insulting how every single adaptation completely fucks her up. jazzy crows, i’m going to bed. goodnight.

10 Anti LO Asks
1. Ok so this is more of a proper comic book but if history, but there’s a DC heroine called Power Girl who is infamous for her oversexuslized costume, with the whole emphasis being on her overly hourglass shape, especially focusing on her breasts with a literal boob window as her costume. Since her introduction many decades ago people have critiqued it as grossly misogynistic and juvenile, but DC had the good sense to ignore it … until a few years ago where they tried to actually claim her oversexualization and boob window was actually the peak of feminism and empowerment with such excuses as:
She refuses to wear a Superman symbol on her chest, because she's her own woman. So her cleavage window is actually a mark of independence
She's never been able to find a chest emblem that truly fits with her beliefs and ideals. So her cleavage window is actually a poignant symbol of her search for identity
She uses it to distract people from her face, explaining how she keeps her identity a secret without wearing a mask. So her cleavage window actually has a practical purpose
As you can guess, absolutely no one buys this and find it’s rather pathetic they can’t admit to her actual purpose. Anyway, this exact sort of reasoning is exactly what I see from Rachel and her defenders over how they excuse how Persephone is depicted as an over-sexualized teenager, and how they want to try and hide under a fake veneer of “feminism”. They try to desperately claim that her constantly  being naked without her free will, sexualized at every moment by Hades, and designed quite literally like a male sexual fantasy is somehow actually feminist and empowering, and think making up any ridiculous reason will somehow cover up the reality. No one would care this much if they were just honest they want to gawk at young, hot women, but maybe admitting your “empowering and feminist” series is actually only about how a man should basically control and consume a woman for his emotional and physical needs while she’s no more than his borderline underage sex prize with no life, goals, or relationships outside of him doesn’t exactly align with the marketing.
2. You know why stuff like PJO, Disney, and HADES isnt as critiqued as LO? It's because they're either all stuff that's more suitable for children or a grinding video game, but none of them claim to be an accurate retelling of the mythology (arguably PJO is the most accurate beyond the demikid stuff) but LO is trying to be for older readers and claims it IS accurate to the mythology, so when it fails doing so that's when it opens itself to massive critique. It's really not hard to get why this is.
3. lo hades def looks like rachel tried to make a Tumblr Sexy Man™️ without realizing the whole point to those characters is that people latched onto them bc they're often unhinged villainous weirdos with zero game and not overly confident capitalists who lust after barely legal young woman with a forced sob story about how his dick is broken. hes the exact opposite of a tumblr sexy man. he is anti sexy. even tfreaking he onceler figured out capitalism is bad at the end.
4. This new Canvas webtoon called P**** popped up, and I dunno if it’s just me but it gives me serious Lore Olympus vibes? Celestial beings with abnormal skin and hair color, huge height and age difference between ML and FL, ML is an old guy with a weird pointy nose and ending a relationship with a beautiful yet “petty and selfish” woman, ML not shown negatively for cheating, FL insecure with (hinted at) parental and abusive relationship issues, FL lead working at ML company, ML and FL meeting accidentally when one is drunk… are these just tropes or do you think it‘s an intentional rip off?
From OP: I censored the webtoon name so if you know, you know. But yeah, me and some other antis saw this and also thought it was way too similar to LO. The creator claims it’s not inspired by LO but I don’t buy it. Especially since in one of the character sheets, her ML’s image looked like it was traced/heavily referenced from one of the LO Hades’ panels.
5. i literally do not care whats happening in this comic. i just want to know how artemis' cat and murder wolf is doing. where is cerberus, wheres that one puppy persephone got then forgot about after all of an hour. i only care abut the pets.
6. if persephone buds off a kid or they adopt baby dionysus or smth the actual issue will be persephone will care more for the kid because just going off how he treated thanatos hades literally does not give a damn about any child in his care, especially if theyre not related to him. he at best is ok with hebe but thats because shes a mini hera. maybe if the budded off kid is a mini persephone clone it'll be fine but im not holding out for that. rachel is p clear he only wants mini hades so 🤷‍♀️
7. idk how anyone is shocked rachel's fancast as almost entirely white people. only white people would bemoan theyre the real oppressed ones while they have all the money and power, abuse anyone below them, only care for the "good" people in the lower class/races, corrupt the politics and justice system in their favor only while the rest get worse punishment for less, get away with murder, and own literal slaves. like that screams white people 💀
8. I have the impression that RS doesn't have an actual plot for the story, she has an obvious ending but no plot
9. am i reading this wrong or is it true the second lo book only covers 26 to 49, so 23 episodes down from 25? are they seriously going to milk this until its at best two episodes per book? the further it goes on the episodes only get shorter too, how exactly does that work to put LESS content in?
From OP: I don’t think it’ll get that bad. Also, not going to 50 was a good move in this case. The book will leave off on the eye thing which is a good ending point tbh (Episode 50 is a pretty big cliffhanger).
10. the stans need to get over the idea popularity =/= good. its very easy to made mediocre products makes sales/get high readership when it has a huge marketing campaign behind it. thats why when they actually out big marketing into other comics (like everything is fine and boyfriends) they also pop off in popularity. ask any random LO reader and they'll likely tell you they only found out about it via a Youtube/Instagram/TikTok ad. it's really not /that/ hard to put two and two together here.

the sophie/tedros problem
so i saw a post about this on @letstalkaboutsge but i think i have more to say and i’m not sure if all of this will come out coherently but is that any different from me normally? no. so here we go.
the way sophie and tedros were written in sge was.......... disgusting. to say the least. and specifically these two characters. everyone in the series at some point is described in a way not matching their age, but their oversexualization in this series was INSANE.
tedros
i’m going to start with tedros. honestly, i do think tedros had it better than sophie in this regard. while he was definitely oversexualized when it came to people talking about his muscles, there was never much overtly sexual or flirty about the way they were described, just very unrealistic. (this did change in red school).
but let’s make this clear: no fourteen/fifteen year old has rippling muscles. none of them. not even fairytale princes. expecting them to have such bodies as children is unrealistic and imposes those thoughts on the children reading. the same thing happens to the evergirls, just on a smaller more intimate scale where they’re obsessed with their looks and the blemishes on their faces. it makes kids feel bad. i think soman forgot the age of his characters for a while and just went on doing whatever he wanted with them and superimposed the age on top?
this is made even worse in red school with the illustrations of tedros shirtless, where he has abs like the batman. again, this is a fifteen year old boy. i’m literally taller than most fifteen year old boys i know. it’s unrealistic, and the way he’s drooled over in the entirety of the series is disgusting. but honestly what i think is more disgusting is the way sophie is described.
sophie
i have a two main issues with sophie’s “f is for” saga: her weird cultural appropriation shit and her extreme oversexualization. i’ll include some quotes to back this up:
cultural appropriation:
“Her face was painted geisha white” - page 250
“Agatha turned to Beatrix, who was watching Nevers throng around Sophie in a revealing black sari and sharp-heeled fur booties.” - page 261
“fishnet bodices, faux monkey fur, sequined burkas” - page 273
“Sophie said, swishing by in shimmering makeup, ruby-red hair, and a black kimono.” - page 272
FOUR different types of clothing and makeup that belong to a specific culture and are treasured by said culture. FOUR. geisha are japanese icons. saris are cornerstones of ceremonial indian clothing. burkas are religious requirements for the women who wear them. and kimonos have been traditional japanese wear for centuries.
soman making his white characters wear traditional clothing from other cultures IS NOT REPRESENTATION. plus, soman wrote his character using asian culture to tempt a boy which touches on SO MANY STEREOTYPES that i have to do research and come back to this later. it feels so wrong to see a white girl appropriating so much, and it feels even worse when you see how she’s described.
oh so much sexualization. i feel bad for sophie
“Her glass shoes had not only been repaired by heeled even taller, which together with the extremely short dress, showed off long, creamy legs.” - page 250
“But Sophie almost made her a believer when she arrived the next day in a belly-baring black halter, poofed miniskirt, spiky pixie hairdo, and heels dyed hot pink.” - pages 253 - 254
“revealing black sari” - page 261
"So had her black-robed fashions, bolder and more extravagant than before, in a grand pageant of scalloped plumage, fishnet bodices, faux monkey fur, sequined burkas, leather pantsuits, powdered wigs, and even a chain-mail bustier.” - page 273
“Sophie entered in a seductive black sheath dress” - page 275
soman. tell me why you’re describing a teenager this way. why is she “seductive” and “revealing”? and i’m not saying modest is hottest, okay, but this is WEIRD descriptions of a mid-end-of-the-teenage-spectrum teenager! why are you describing her this way? there’s a different between a crop top and a “seductive black sheath dress”. sophie was not an adult. she was a child. why did soman write her this way? it just feels gross. why is an underage child “revealing”?
the sexualization and cultural appropriation of sophie’s character during this scene honestly disgusts me. both her and tedros deserved an OUNCE of realism to their characters’ ages, or they deserved to be OLDER IN THE BOOK. it’s an easy fix that solves a really gross problem.
and i know this feels nitpicky. and i know writing about this seems like “oh i’m trying to cancel soman”. i know fairytales aren’t real life. but soman clearly cares about this sort of stuff, so i just find it interesting that his books are written in such implicitly sexual ways.

Witcher S2E1
I’m so excited for this
“rated for TV-MA for language, violence, sex, nudity gore, smoking” lol where is the smoking going to be?
the recaps are always telling what they want us to see/remember
Fringilla, I hope I learn more about you, girl
Yen, Ciri, I’m looking forward to seeing you two together this season!
let’s gooooooooo
this opens with an ominous bucket knocking against a well, building mood, this is such a Netflix show
interesting, i thought this snowy blue town from the trailers was going to be Kaer Morhen, glad I was wrong
Kira … or Kiera
oh, nope, she’s dead
***
oof, aftermath of the battle of sodden
“please let me live” “no today” Vilgefortz that was brutal
Tissaia, concerned mother, TM
4,000 Temerians and 5,000 Kaedwenians dead…what is the geography of this world??????? Where was Redania or Aedirn?
20,000 dead Nilfgaard, yesssssss, fuck them up Yen
Damn, Tissaia screaming Yen’s name, I feel that!
and now Geralt screaming Yen’s name!!!
noooo, not Geralt thinking Yen is dead, the pure emotion in his face, Henry, that was amazing, the “was it worth it” the stilted walk away, not telling Ciri who she is, ugh, keep trying to bottle up those emotions, witcher, you know that won’t work
***
Ciri and Geralt in the woods
aww, did Geralt build a little lean-to shelter for Ciri to sleep under?
so no one in this family sleeps, huh?
Ciri talking about the "black knight" sounds like a book reference, who tf is the black knight?
Ciri “i need to understand some things” that’s an understatement, kid
“I saved your father’s life...from your grandmother” did no one tell Ciri this story?? like there were hundreds of guests at this wedding banquet and no one mentioned it? Ciri's grandfather seemed cool why didn’t he tell her this story? like, really no one told her?
“she didn’t want your mother marrying … an outsider” interesting choice of words, here, Geralt
Ciri wants to go to Skellige “you’d be married off to the nearest lord of bad breath” Geralt giving real dad advice here, only wanting the best for his daughter, good oral hygiene only
***
ooh, a sweeping CGI shot of Aretuza, the budget!
Oh no Triss! don’t die!
that wig is a disaster
I love seeing Tissaia still all beat up from battle, love her character
***
Yennefer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also beat up
damn, this whole cast is peak “grimes up good”
***
back to Geralt and Ciri traveling
aw, Geralt referring to Kaer Morhen as “home"
“there was an attack, when i was a boy” ah, yes, I forgot we changed the backstory/timeline here
Geralt axiied roach, however, that horse actor does not look calm, Fiona is still clutching those reigns with a death grip
Geralt finds a dead animal in the woods, gets out a hunting knife to inspect it, calms everyone, then EATS A CHUNK OF IT? Geralt. why.
LOLLL, the ominous knocking bucket is back, mood
“I know someone near by” … the lonely cursed man living in a creepy abandoned castle nearby...so you’re basically friends with the Beast from Beauty and the Beast?
ah, the old “two people meet, attack each other, and then recognize they are friends" trope
is this whole castle magic? is Nivellen magic? how do things keep falling from the ceiling?
Ciri is in a bath, oh no, she’s getting out …...... omg THAT is how you film a girl getting out of a bath without oversexualizing her or showing any other unnecessary bullshit, thank you!
all this food falling onto the table and spilling everywhere, hilarious
Nivellen asking if Geralt told Ciri how they met, Ciri “no, he’s not especially chatty”, haha, drag him!
Geralt getting called a “snow-capped sourpuss” lol
fuck, is “wyvern” pronounced “why-vern” (rhymes with fern) and not “wheh-ver-en” I’m 31
“in front of the girl?” “she’s tougher than you think” yes Geralt, standing up for Ciri and thinking she’s amazing!
so this dude was cursed because he used to be a frat boy?
The WILD HUNT?????? That is going to be the villain of this season??? That’s the antagonist of the third game, which are all set after the books, no? and isn’t the show is covering the beginnings of the books? why are they bringing this villain in in now? isn’t it way too soon?
“The Wraiths of Morhogg” lol, LOTR “inspired"
“I’ve lived through a whole dark age and three supposed end of days” Geralt the millennial confirmed
Ciri sitting on the floor, saying, “Go on Geralt, we’ll be alright” Fiona, baby girl, I love you, your acting is perfection, playing Ciri like the fucking queen she is, you’re amazing
***
Back at Aretuza
Oh, it’s that dude! with the curly hair, from Nilfgaard… what’s his name? … how did he get captured again? like i remember you, but i don’t
Tissaia is fucking on a war path trying to find Yennefer, like this is really showing us the depths mothers will go for their children, and their mother/daughter relationship isn’t even on the best of terms, like they have so many problems, but Tissaia is still out here fucking torturing people just to find Yen, like damn
“i know you want to scream...but it’s too soon” holy fuck
the use of high pitched sound sound in place of screams... chilling, love it
***
lamo, did Yennefer just make fun of the mushrooms Fringilla made for her?
Yen calling Fringilla a “pawn” …. “he won’t be happy to see you return, tail between your legs” camera shifts over Fringilla, focuses on Yen, “you know I won’t turn” …. “I’ll be lauded for saving them” “I’m sure they’ll be most understanding, all leaders are” …..Yen and Fringilla, telling each other the truths you BOTH need to hear, I want more!!
“shitgaard” lol
***
Nivellen just happens to have this light carousel history thing...“a doomed young elven warrior and the human she falls in love with..the fall of the elders” wow, this story surely won’t come back, just completely added here for funsies, nothing to do with the plot, no foreshadowing here
Geralt talking to Roach about Ciri….sir, go find Yennefer! she’s not dead! start talking to Yen about Ciri’s development, not your horse! we all love Roach, but shes not going to be Ciri’s new mom!
Geralt follows footprints, they stop, so the thing turns into a bird and flies away?
Ciri “I wish I could go back in time and save them, save everyone” okay, I’m ready for whatever that journey will take us, isn’t she the mistress of time and space or something? is this going to come back?? I’m excited to see.
“Mousesack told me of a hedgehog man who was cured of pure love”…so someone did tell you the story of your parents, you just didn’t know it was them, sigh, when will someone tell you?
so all Nivellen's servants are buried in the garden… so not like beauty and the beast...but also, how exactly did Nivellen kill them not knowing his own strength? i want details
"monsters are born of deeds done, unforgivable ones” okay, so we have the basic “who is the real monster?” theme here. it’s obviously never Geralt, but the jury is out on Nivellen, he’s getting more suspicious, why are all your former employees dead sir??
holy shit, Nivellen just drank out of a tankard with that prosthetic head on. that shit was so fucking good, I’m so happy netflix is investing in practical effects and prosthetics for their shows, it’s this head is fucking phenomenal, it’s so realistic i forget I’m not watching another person, like the features are still a little stiff and the lip movements don’t exactly match, but holy fuck, they have moving lips that match the actor, like this whole head is so amazing to watch in the scene, the actor is doing so much acting with his eyes and body language, omg, i could go off forever on how much i love watching this character, just from a film-making point of view, like i really feel like I’m watching revolutionary effects similar to lotr, and so subtle, no huge over-the-top battle scene, just this one character who is non-human who needs a realistic looking head, this effect is fucking amazing, we need more of this!
Geralt inventing a drinking game of truth or truth, love it
lol, Geralt's little pinched face after he missed his knife throw, he’s cute mad
“what changed you” “who...Yennefer of Vengerberg” okay. so i love Yen. I love Geralt. I love the tension they had in season 1. I did not see the way she changed him, I may be wrong, but....where was it
Geralt telling Nivellen Yen is dead, “how are you now heartbroken” “who says I’m not” and the shot staying on his face, ugh Geralt, giving out fucking gut punches here, love it
**
i love every time yen and Fringilla are on screen, I want more
“horses, whores, and mages, all useful til we’re not” think better about yourself Yen!
“redeem myself from what? … that implies choice … we were all just gilded pawns to control kingdoms” damn, Fringilla already calling herself a pawn too and looking at herself, damn what character development is in story for you, Fringilla?
“if I'd had Tissaia to shield me” damn Fringilla, tell her!!!!! Yen did get away with so much shit because of Tissaia! Fringilla got nothing! read her!
Yen, then calling Fringilla a bootlicker “eager to please. easy to wound” fuck, girl
okay damn, Yennefer and Fringilla just going back and forth with the barbs!!! I hope you both learn from each other, I’m fascinated by the positions they are both in and how they can be affecting each other here. Like, neither were left in good places at the end of season 1 and I’m excited to see where their charters will go in this season!
***
um, Nivellen, thanks for the exposition about how witchers kidnap children and torture them to turn them into witchers, but you’re telling a witcher that he had his feelings and emotions trained out of them…when literally in the last scene Geralt told you he was heartbroken over yen… you then claim witchers are monsters, when you literally just told Ciri monsters are not those with claws, but those who do bad deeds… like take a hint my guy
but actually Nivellen asking how Ciri feels about being Geralt’s child surprise is a good question, Geralt what does Ciri think??
“this is the look of a man who’s wondering why his old friend is cheating” call his ass out Geralt, Nivellen is only getting more and more suspicious
Ciri sleeping like a princess, cute
who is this woman on the ceiling?????!!!!! leave Ciri the fuck alone!
love her visual effects, the sped up movements, looks cool
love the use of contacts in this show…why don’t more productions do this, it’s such an easy way to drastically changes the looks of a character
Ciri “monsters to bad things to people” and Vereena “humans do bad things to everybody” you’re missing the point girl, it’s about individual actions, not collective punishment
Ciri immediately understanding the love story here, smart and empathetic, love it, you’re going to be a great queen!
Geralt back in the empty town again. how do we know? the ominous bucket is back!!!!!!
Geralt seeing a second set of footsteps disappearing, “it flies” … sir, you are a witcher…wasn’t that obvious from the first set of footprints?
“bruxa", or “bruxer” in Henry’s accent
ohh, we get the dramatic trailer scene with Geralt turning around with his witcher black eyes and telling Ciri to “move now”, good stuff, good stuff
soooooo… Vereena is eating Nivellen… like a vampire? is she killing him??
Geralt just going full witcher mode, sword in hand, breaking into a room to kill her, like how did we get here, you were trying to shelter your new daughter for the night and now you’re on a warpath to kill a bruxa, love it
oooh, Vereena’s double teeth! the way she screams!! fuck Geralt up!
um, Nivellen is just lying there, is he okay? is he dead??
Geralt following her on the ceiling, lucky he found the exact spot Vereena was in
in the courtyard, Vereena just fucking Geralt up then turning around and being kind to Ciri, love it
that show of Vereena flying back, with the white dress, beautiful, perfection, i feel like every fucking shot of this show was meticulously planned out, like the cinematography in this scene is great, i can see the planning and foresight in this show, and this whole scene is so monochromatic, love it, love everything about this
so she turned into a giant bat?? so actually like a vampire?
okay, why is she naked when injured? i like the placement and camera angle, no over the top nudity here, and Ciri runs to give her a cloak, love it, but what happened to her dress? she was already clothed
oh no, why Vereena, don't threaten Ciri!
oh shit! i wasn’t expecting Nivellen to come back and fucking kill Vereena!!!!!!
wait, she’s not dead, she’s trying to kill Nivellen! girl, give us at least one redeemable movement!
then Geralt just fucking chopping her head off, like damn
her last words, “he’ll come for you too” no, do not put terrible things into Ciri’s head! ... but also, setting up Geralt as a monster killer and Ciri becoming afraid of her potential powers, okay, I'll ride with it
so Nivellen lost his true love and broke the curse… but, she still killed an entire village and probably your servants, so...
“not for destroying the temple, but for raping the priestess” HOLY FUCK dude, you just said that casually, like, GODDAMN, this fucker was cursed because he was THAT kind of frat boy, what the fuck is wrong with you?
Geralt’s face twisting in absolute disgust at this revelation is perfection. Amazing reaction. Henry, I love watching you act. And they held that movement with Geralt and Ciri, like damn Nivellen, no one is sympathizing with you right now, amazing, love it
Geralt just turning away from Nivellen and walking away, like damn, that message is LOUD AND CLEAR
the treatment of rape in this fantasy show is refreshing, like no one is making excuses
Nivellen asking Geralt to kill him, “you’re mortal now, do it yourself” Geralt. Holy fuck, telling him to live with what he did, like fuck.
so, apparently this whole plot line was changed from the books…..but yeah, I’m just going to enjoy what this plot is trying to show and say in this story right now. When I finally read the books, I’ll re-review and get big mad over everything
Geralt in the woods, finally meditating, my baby, take a break, please actually sleep
Ciri is talking about being afraid of her powers? potential? she has some obviously growth to go through this story from being the princess to the bad ass character she’ll become, love her set up, I’m excited to watch her grow!
***
yes, my favs, Yennefer and Fringilla!
oh shit, all the red shirts just got fucking speared and removed off-camera, what is going to happen to my girls???

Ok so I love everything in the PJO universe and I found your blog and was reading through it and I was wondering what you meant by the POC’s deserve better I know it’s true but I just got confused and was hoping you could help me understand this topic better. This is coming from a POC themselves thank you so much I love your blog and how you say how you feel on all topics
So, first of all, thank you. Also, I’m sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but as I said, I’ve been busy, and I really wanted to give myself the time to give you a good answer, because I myself am white, so there isn’t much I can tell you from personal experience that would give you an in depth explanation of what’s going on.
So here is a masterlist of information about this topic that I personally found helpful when learning abo these topics. Please read through this, because BIPOC voices are the voices that matter the most, but I will give you a brief summary of each of the issues.
Some of the main issues are;
Hazel’s adultifacation. The issue is that Hazel, a black woman was made younger than everyone else, when she really didn’t have to be. This contributes to an issue in media where black girls are forced to grow up faster than other people around them. Not to mention, making Pluto look like H*tler, and making him the father of a black girl during the time of segregation was a very bad choice.
Piper’s character apparently had a lot of issues, from her appearance to her backstory, but some of the big ones include; feathers, oversexualization, cornucopia and whitewashing of her character. First, I don’t think I need to explain the issues with the feathers and the stereotypes, but also it shows a lack of understanding of the culture. Eagles in particular are sacred and are usually only worn by leaders- and they are not to be worn casually. As for oversexualizing her, it’s problematic enough considering she’s a literal child, but as stated in the post I just linked, oversexualization of indigenous woman is a huge problem in native communities. The fact that she used a cornucopia, a literal Thanksgiving symbol as a weapon is self explanatory. As for whitewashing her character, she is the only character described as mixed race. Now there’s nothing wrong with being mixed race, but the fact that this choice was made for the indigenous character in particular... that’s a problem. This in particular is problematic considering the constant erasure of indigenous people irl.
Rick also responded to criticism about Piper’s character in particular in a very problematic way. His response to being criticized was to accuse people of bullying him, and telling people to move on from being misrepresented.
Also, Rick seems to have an issue with describing BIPOC characters as... BIPOC? He erased a lot of Hazel and Piper nonwhite features, giving Hazel gold eyes and cinnamon hair, and Piper kaleidoscope eyes. They should have both had brown eyes, and Hazel should have had darker hair.
Leo was written well in the beginning, but Rick developed him into being a Mexican stereotype. First of all, the constant flirting is quite obviously stereotypical of Latinx people in general, and there is issues with the “Mamacita” line- it was addressed, but not well.
Reyna isn’t included in this post, because whoever contributed to it deleted their blog, but I have seen criticism from Puerto Rican fans that say that Reyna’s disconnection with her shows that while Reyna is technically representation for them, she was written for white people.
Aside from individual criticism, general criticism includes;
Most of the black characters have died at some point in the series- even Hazel died and came back.
Most BIPOC characters were cheated out of an arc, and most of the big parts of their internal conflicts were fixed off the page (Frank’s stick) or in someone else’s point of view (Leo’s desire to find a family).
I’m sorry, but Rick was willing to make a book about Percy & Annabeth, the characters we know the most about, but couldn’t equal out the point of views of Frank & Hazel with the rest of the seven?
Most of the Latinx characters were bilingual, when it didn’t make sense for them to be. Leo had an unstable life from childhood to his teen years, and there is no way he spent time in enough Spanish-speaking homes to develop their vocabulary. Reyna had been away from her culture for so long too, the same applies to her.
In general, I’ve noticed that both the fandom and Rick’s standards for BIPOC characters are much higher than they are for white characters. I cannot name one character of color that hasn’t been held to a different standard than other characters at some point.
Essentially, no BIPOC character was done well, and every marginalized group that was represented in some shape or form was not done well. The link also points out issues with homophobia and ableism.
The thing is, I think the reason why Rick did get away with it for so long, is because for a lot of these people it was there first time feeling represented, and at the time, there wasn’t a lot of representation to go off- but that doesn’t make it good representation in anyway shape or form. For example
This doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy these books, or these characters, but it’s good to look at how these characters were treated by the narrative. There will be a tv show, which is a good chance for Rick to fix at least some of his mistakes.
Also, if there is anything my BIPOC followers would like to add on, please do. If my information is wrong, please call me out.

Tonight I watched all of He-Man: Revelations and most of Centaurworld (I watched the first three episodes like, a week ago?) and I have ... opinions. (And it’s 4:37am, might as well share them while they’re fresh!)
(Warning, this got very long and ranty, sorry for stretching out your dashboards if that’s even still a thing anymore?)
He-Man was entertaining, but it did feel like (as someone with like, less than a passing knowledge of the characters) someone’s super-angsty fanfiction more than like ... a continuing series. They killed off multiple well-known, beloved characters, to drive home the point of how SERIOUS and how HARDCORE this series is, and instead it felt like being a little kid in the 80s watching Optimus Prime get murdered to sell more toys. Like, WHY DID THEY DIE? Oh right, to show the viewer how SERIOUS the bad guys are! And to give the other characters things to angst over, to show you they’re no longer just shallow 80s muscle man stereotypes to sell toys! But then you gotta wonder, where will they go from here? Who’s even left to continue the storyline? Is it still He-Man if half the supporting cast is dead?
Like I said, I’m not a He-Man fan by trade, but aside from the pointless murder, it did seem like it delved into the backstories that a lot of people have probably wanted since the 80s, and it made some very interesting points. So, hey, maybe it’ll be beloved by its fans! And it was very entertaining, especially as someone who wasn’t a childhood fan so I didn’t have a lot of nostalgia that I had to watch die. It doesn’t end on a happy note, there’s definitely the ‘what if the villains WON’ theme going, so maybe my opinion will be less dour when the next part comes out. (I did like that it focused more on the female characters, which was a very unexpected change, and in that aspect I felt it was very well written; that could explain why I’ve heard other screechingly negative feedback elsewhere online, heh. He-Man fans probably don’t appreciate the heavy preference paid to Teela.)
Centaurworld was ... well, I watched the first episode with my mother, which was a Huge Fucking Mistake. I heard that it was a thrilling combination of something akin to Adventure Time and a more serious cartoon like Avatar, and instead I got 10 minutes of that, and then 16 minutes of continuous ass, fart, and poop jokes, combined with a couple of great tunes and a lot of tuneless recitative style “songs”.
If you follow this blog, you probably know toys; you know the Poopsie Surprise toys? The ones which were so obsessed with uncomfortably sexualized poop/fart/barf references that entire scholarly articles were written about the sexualization of children with scatology-themed toys? Yeah, that’s what Centaurworld felt like, almost the whole time. Like just ... an uncomfortable amount of poop/butt/fart “jokes”, to the point where it felt like it had to be one of the writer’s fetishes. Like, it was clearly not funny, and the main character is clearly uncomfortable with it ... and it just keeps going.
I say jokes in scare quotes because jokes are supposed to be funny, and a lot of Centaurworld just wasn’t funny. You could tell it was meant to have jokes, but it was very much dated early-2000s type humor, I want to guess? The kind where it’s not so much ‘setup-punchline’ but the more ‘awkward reference awkward reference awkward reference drawn out wooooord’ type of “jokes”. And most of those “jokes” were just - you guessed it - drawn out references to butts, or farts, or some combination of the two. I felt like an aged boomer watching it. I like to think I’m hip and with the times, but it felt like it should be aimed at a middle schooler - but like, an oversexualized middle schooler? It was uncomfortable to say the least. (One character talks to his farts, claims they talk back to him, and he addresses them as ‘Daddy,’ while another character expresses how uncomfortable that is, and implies he has “issues” to unpack. Because that’s hilarious, I guess?)
Centaurworld did, beneath the heavy layer of scatology, have an intriguing storyline. A warhorse from a LOTR-style world is thrown into a wacky Adventure Time-type land made up of silly centaurs, and has to try and find her way back home. It was thrilling at times, if you could slog through everything else that beleaguered it. There were some really good jokes! But I couldn’t quite muster up a laugh, because I was still wondering when the next butt reference would sneak in. After ten terrible jokes, the one good joke couldn’t manage to lift me from the depth of despair I’d sunken into. It really only felt like the show got ‘tolerable’ around episode 7 (out of ten!!!!), which was an episode heavily focused on cats. (Which, again; wasn’t the internet very much about LOLCats in the early 2000s?)
If six episodes of a ten-episode series is nigh-intolerable, is it a successful show? Should you bother watching something that is 60%+ garbage? (And DON’T FUCKING WORRY, the poop/butt/fart jokes continued UNTIL THE FUCKING FINAL EPISODE.)
I suspect that, if there was a “goal” for all of the fetish stuff (beyond fetish stuff for fetish sake), it would be to illustrate to the viewer how uncomfortable the main character feels in this strange new land, and for us to share in her discomfort. Which, fine, sure! Secondhand embarrassment is definitely a trope. But the sheer uncomfortable volume of the poop/butt/fart jokes clearly went way beyond mere discomfort, and veered into ‘why is this coming up so much, is someone getting off on this?’ territory, at least for me. A couple butt jokes an episode, fine, okay. Entire five minute bits devoted to farts and butts? Entire songs about butts? I start questioning why it’s such a beloved subject for you to write about.
Plus, and I may be reading into this too much, but several of the only Black-coded characters felt racist. I’m talking neck-snapping, tribal body paint type racism, although only one got the exaggerated “soul” type music to sing, which I guess is a relative win? (Waterbaby and Judge Jacket, if you’re wondering who I’m referencing. One of them is a literal hippo centaur, giving us shades of Madagascar.) It wasn’t obvious, but combined with everything else, it felt ... bad. (There are multiple other nonwhite voice actors who aren’t stereotypes, so maybe it was just a bad case of ‘trying to represent different culture while being clueless white people’, who knows?) There was also some classic fatphobia, with one of the villains being shown as a fat neckbeard collector/nerd. Wasn’t that relevant in - wait for it - the early 2000s? They redeem themselves very slightly by having maybe two other characters who are visibly fat, but one of them is also viewed as an antagonist.
Anyway, I was disappointed enough with the show to feel like I should say something, so - there it is. Centaurworld did have some good moments, some lovely songs, and there was some really heartwarming and tender character development that I liked, sandwiched between huge swaths of discomfort. There might be a season 2 (there shouldn’t be, LOL) and hell, I will probably suffer through it because I want to see what happens to them. But I can’t recommend that anyone else do the same, in all good conscience. It’s not good. It’s just not. But if you have 5 hours to kill, there’s worse stuff out there?
If you want to watch one episode to see the best of the series, I recommend episode seven, “Johnny Teatime's Be Best Competition: A Quest for the Sash.” It’s themed after the CATS musical, and the extended number at the end gave me shades of MLP or Fashion Star Fillies. (I found an official clip of the song posted here.) There’s also other lovely songs in the series, but you’d have to suffer through entire bad episodes to see them. The lovely “You’re Okay” shows up in the very first episode, so if you’re curious give that a watch... just be aware it never gets better, only worse.
This series genuinely upset me, because I wanted it to be something much better, and there were glimpses of it; you just had to try and close your eyes to the obsession with butts and farting to see pieces of what it might have been.
One notable fact that I thought was kind of like ‘wow, oof’ was that Meghan McCarthy, of MLP:FiM fame, was a story editor for Centaurworld. And considering how MLP went downhill in later seasons, I gotta say I’m wondering if there’s a commonality there. Maybe her fetish is bad writing? There’s worse fetishes to have, AS CENTAURWORLD CLEARLY DEMONSTRATES.

Hey! I'm fairly new here and I have a pretty uncommon take on Kaylor. But I just wanna start off by saying I try my best to be as supportive of LGBT people as possible and if they're both bisexual, then I would be 100% okay with that! I'm not trying to "defend their heterosexuality" or anything, I think that's really weird
Okay, so my personal theory is that Kaylor did happen, but that Taylor and Karlie are both straight. I know that might sound contradictory, but I say this based on my own personal experiences based on how I am with my best friend. I think Karlie and Taylor's relationship might have been similar in some ways to ours
Right, so I'm straight and I'm not into women in the gay kind of way (but it's completely cool that some girls are), and I have this roommate who's gorgeous. Really gorgeous, she's like a 10/10 "I would sell my kidney to look like you" kind of girl. She's very attractive, she has like tan skin and long legs and gorgeous brown hair and pretty eyes and nice lips and just like… she's just very good looking. I'm definitely jealous of her body, I won't even pretend I'm not 😪 I lowkey hate her because of it (jk)
We've been living together since not long before COVID started, and we're very good friends. There were three of us before, but our other roommate went back home to stay with her parents until in person classes are back on and we agreed to it and worked something out because she has really bad anxiety so we understood her reasoning for it
Anyway so it's just been us two and because we've been at home a lot during this time instead of out for most of the day like before, we've gotten to know each other a lot better and have become a lot closer. We were already friends from before, but now we're like super close besties, we've been hanging out a lot together and playing board games, watching movies, helping each other with essays, just having long conversations about anything and everything, etc
Like it's been so nice having a best friend that I can be this close to now because I haven't had a best friend since I was a kid
So my friend and I were having like a conversation last year about how hard it's been in quarantine not being able to go on dates and how we miss kissing people, and so we decided to just like, make out for fun you know. I mean, there's not really anything that's inherently romantic or sexual about making out, that's just society that says that. But tbh I think making out with your friends if you want to should be normalized, it's fun and it can even be emotional sometimes. It's not that different from hugging people
After a couple of weeks or so, I think we got bored of just making out with each other and decided to like, fully hook up. It started off because we were modelling lingerie for each other for banter and were pretending we were each other's runway judges and then I think we just decided to hook up with each other as like part of the whole "game". I can't remember who initiated it now, I think it might have been me as a joke lol
Like just in a platonic way for fun, as a kind of substitute until we can go back into society
And tbh I always expected hooking up with a woman to be like mediocre and boring and awkward, but although it was a bit hard to get the hang of at first and there was a learning curve, it's actually very enjoyable. Like I was very surprised actually at how hot it can be, I think I can maybe see why bisexual women and lesbians like doing it
Anyway we both liked it and we just carried on hooking up on the regular and it's been like 8 months now and tbh I just think it's very sweet and heartwarming, like it actually makes me feel a little emotional how we're close enough and care about each other enough that we can even help each other out with the physical intimacy side of things so that we don't get sexually frustrated while we're stuck in lockdown
I just think it's really cool and we even sleep in the same bed most of the time now because tbh what's the point in sleeping alone when you can sleep in the same bed as someone else? It's nicer, like you can cuddle and stuff
Anyway, I think that maybe Kaylor's relationship might have been similar. I think they're both straight but they became really close friends in a short space of time, and that their friendship was so intense that it became physical but in a platonic way
I think lesbians and bisexual women are amazing and I have so much respect for you guys for accepting yourselves in a society that tries to erase you, and I think there definitely needs to be more wlw representation on TV and in movies
But at the same time, I would also like there to be more close female friendships like the one that me and my friend have where you can just talk about everything together and do things that society usually reserves for romantic partners, but in a platonic way. Because female friendship is really important and beautiful, whether that's between straight women like me and my friend who I think is probably straight too, or between queer women because one thing I've learnt during my short time on this blog is how queer women can have very close platonic friendships with other queer women too
I think society just has overly strict ideas of "straight" and "gay". Like for some people, they would hear about two women sleeping together and think "Oh that's gay", but not necessarily because straight women can enjoy sleeping with other women too, like it's normal 🤷‍♀️
I think it's just a result of women being a lot more physically beautiful than men are, like straight women really got the short end of the stick tbh compared to straight men
I also think it's because women are so oversexualized in the media, and obviously straight girls see that too and so we sort of internalize that attraction to women because we're so used to seeing women being presented in a sexual way? Except it's not real attraction with us like how it is for queer girls
Like I'm very much "attracted" to my friend, she's genuinely stunning and just very hot tbh. But I still identify as straight because it's just a case of what I mentioned above, it's a "fake" attraction. And also because men are afraid to compliment other men because it's seen as "gay", but women can be fully confident in their sexuality and still recognize other women's beauty and sex appeal. You see it all the time in instagram comments, and I really love how we're all so supportive of each other like that
Like I can be fully confident in my sexuality and yet still say that some women like my friend are gorgeous as hell and also 100 times better looking than most men I've seen. I'm very much obsessed with some women's appearances but in a platonic way
And I just love the concept of "girl crushes" and I think that from a feminism viewpoint, it's beautiful that we're focusing on other girls and showing love towards other girls too, instead of just to men who, let's be real, don't even fully appreciate it half of the time
I am going to be sad when we all have to return to life as usual and my friend and I won't be able to spend as much time together anymore. I'm dreading it tbh, I don't want it to end yet. And it really sucks that the physical side of our friendship will probably have to stop too once our other roommate comes back because I think she'd definitely misunderstand the situation and think it's something different than it actually is if she ever saw us kissing or something. I really am going to miss it a lot though, I really like how things currently are and it's just really really nice and I don't want it to change :/
Btw I'm sorry if I sounded fetishistic or offensive with any of this, I just get a bit jealous sometimes that you guys get to date girls and we're just stuck with men. Honestly if it wasn't for all of the homophobia and the struggles that you all have to face and the fact that it would feel disrespectful to the LGBT community, I would probably really wish I could change my sexuality to be bisexual or gay instead because I just think women are better. Sometimes I really do wish I was into women in that way because dating girls just sounds so much more appealing to me (in a non fetishizing weird way) but unfortunately I'm stuck with dating men 🤦‍♀️ But I also know I'm lucky and privileged to be straight even though most men are mediocre and kinda gross and I don't mean to be disrespectful because I know you all have to face homophobia and other LGBT difficulties and it really sucks, people are awful. There's nothing wrong with women dating women or men dating men at all, society is just ugly and bigoted
Anyway, does anybody else have a similar sort of take on Kaylor where they think they could have both been straight and just had a very close friendship with a physical side to it? I think it would explain a lot. But like I said, this is just a theory of mine based on my own situation, and I'm also open to the idea that it was an actual relationship and that they're both into women for real, not just fake "into women" like I am.
Also pls feel free to call me out if I accidentally said anything offensive towards LGBT people, I tried my best but if I made a mistake anywhere pls let me know and I'll avoid it next time!
You’re not offensive. Please stop apologizing. And we’re gonna come back to the Kaylor stuff another time because... Honey. You and I need to have a conversation for a bit.
So firstly, I’m not trying to like “diagnose” you and at the end of the day it’s your choice what you want to call yourself but... tbh you might not be straight. Sexuality is fluid not static and exists on a spectrum not in absolutes. It’s not like it’s straight, 50/50 bi, gay and you’re born knowing and there’s no room for anything else. That’s not true. There’s a lot of room in between all of these and labels can change over time. We’re people, not cereal brands, and sometimes we don’t even KNOW the word for what we might be. I’m tagging a tag for you from when we asked people to share their label journeys for you to see. It’s not simple or easy and it’s not just because of external stuff - it’s because figuring this out internally is HARD. If you found yourself having such an intense friendship it became physical, repeatedly, you liked it a lot, you still sleep in the same bed and continue to share all your thoughts and you don’t want any of that to end... I’m not sure you’re Kinsey 0. And I think you might lowkey have a girlfriend dude.
You can obviously prefer men but like... hun I reaaallly don’t think you’re completely straight.
Also: it’s okay to say “I see myself winding up with a man and this is a situationship for right now!” but that doesn’t make you straight because again, sexuality is a spectrum and you can manifest a particular kind of endgame while experiencing other things along the way.
But here’s where you really got me: “most men are mediocre and kinda gross” and “women being a lot more physically beautiful than men are, like straight women really got the short end of the stick tbh compared to straight men” because that’s the kind of thing I used to say in my Bi 1.0 era before I ID’d as a lesbian for a bit and before Harry Styles (KING 🥺) made me bi for real. Hun, no. Straight women like men. Tbh BI women like men. I genuinely, unironically, find Harry and Timmy and Matt Smith to be sexy beasts and I would do dirty things to the former two but maybe not the latter irl in 2021 but yes also him if I could be on that Spain trip with him and Karen where they got sloshed and which I think of often. These men are genuinely fucking beautiful to me in the same way Taylor is and Di Silvers is (okay she’s prettier than all of them but like same ~vibe) and like Megan Thee Stallion is and Indira Varma in everything but especially GOT and Gillian Anderson and Keira Knightley. Like those women are HOT to me and SO. ARE. THE. MEN.
Straight women find SO MANY DUDES hot. So many. Starting from objectively pretty options I just cannot personally understand like Chris Evans all the way through to bitches who are outchea simping for wrestlers and Cole Sprouse. Do I understand? No. But like... that’s straight girl culture and ours is not to judge.
If you’re struggling to find men hot then... you might be gay.
Also, I’m not sure what you mean by “fake attraction”. Like queer women - especially femme women which I assume you very much are - experience the same kinds of feelings straight girls do. We have women we want to be like and look like and find enviable (me and Oenone Forbat) and women we find aesthetically gorgeous (me and Anya Taylor Joy) and we have extremely close female friends who we can spend hours on end spilling our guts to - as you say female friendships are truly special - and without going into personal people that you don’t know, that’s me and Cam and Sim right? I literally talk to them for hours. Like those are not gay feelings. And yes we can chat about those kinds of feelings with straight girls and call them “girl crushes” and not immediately get “caught out” because they experience this exact shit too.
But here’s the thing. They never do and I don’t want in the cases above to fuck these women. It’s not sexual.
The moment I can actually imagine fucking the women in question that’s... gay.
Like it’s not “fake attraction” it’s literally just gay. That’s how we desire women. We want to fuck them. Not all women. Not always. But sometimes we want to get under or on top of one and just really truly fucking make each other moan with pleasure.
I have no idea if Karlie or Taylor are into women. They could both literally be straight. I have no idea.
But I have a better idea about you.
Hun, you’re fucking your roommate/best friend and don’t want to stop.
You’re not “into women”.
You’re into this woman.
And possibly into women more generally.
So I know it’s weird to have to be the one to tell you this, and if you want to keep chatting via anon or in my DMs or if you want me to try collate resources for you from around the web but...
Like.
Dude.
You’re a whole ass part of the rainbow.
Welcome to the community you thought you weren’t a part of earlier today 🌈 ❤️
It’s nice here, sure there’s homophobia, but at least we get to fuck girls and man is it good.
