A lot of discussion lately about whether or not jason fans hallucinated a character who cares about his community (the ‘protects women and kids’ thing), but i think that’s doing us a disservice and frankly letting DC off the hook.
Its not unreasonable to dislike that DC consistently makes the kid with the poorest background the most violent and selfish. (And the second poorest, Steph, the most incompetent).
Its not wild to extrapolate that someone who was first characterised as being Too Upset About Rape Victims and later characterised as prepared to take action where others won’t, could be getting involved in that kind of work.
It’s not crazy fans being blind to canon when we don’t want the sole voice of reason on the subject of community support to be the benevolent billionaire.
It’s not delusional behaviour to make fanworks where the guy heavily implied to be a child victim of sexual assault takes on responsibility for other victims.
Is that what DC gave us? No, they didn’t bother to address it.

Greetings SAGAU community! Today, I bring you this dumb meme I made. Enjoy!
How Chapter 13 of Messianic Aureation Should've Went (Spoilers):
(This was funnier in my head)
Cara & Messianic Aureation belongs to @isshua
Imaginative Depictions of Cara
Read chapter one here!
Cyno here: The joke is that Cara (the person in the cat suit) brought a cat suit made with cat hair to a fight with Venti. Venti is canonically allergic to cats. Therefore, Cara would defeat Venti without issue.

Buy me a ko-fi, perhaps?

i don’t understand why people hate gale.
“he’s annoying” or “he talks too much” or “he’s too clingy and got offended when i was in a relationship” (which was a BUG, it takes two seconds to do some research before jumping to conclusions) are the most stupid reasons to actually hate a character.
he’s the one that has the warmest personality when you first meet him as well, so i just don’t get it?? i’m not saying you’re not allowed to dislike him, and this doesn’t apply to everyone, but SOMETIMES it feels like people just hop on a “hate bandwagon” because i see so many comments (especially on tiktok… where most of the people only started playing because it’s “trendy” now) about him that are the exact same as each other and it’s like people have lost the ability to think for themselves and form their own opinions after actually playing the game properly and learning about the characters.
so many people even go on about how it’s a turn off that he “doesn’t shut up about his ex”… like maybe actually continue playing the story to understand why it’s a significant conversation to have and why it’s a huge part of his character arc, and stop being weirdly bitter/jealous/annoyed when the man is also a VICTIM that has been manipulated and abused in a relationship with a massive power imbalance.

Okay but why are people so aggressive in the notes on polls like ?? I’m sorry people aren’t agreeing with you that does not call for an attack on their character or you saying they’re stupid or clearly lack insight
Having different interpretations of a piece of media can actually generate really cool discussions and even if you don’t agree with a certain view that doesn’t mean the person holding it should be attacked

reading Bruce Wayne: Murderer? now to fill in the gaps for some of the issues in Batgirl (2000) and oh he's operating on maximum maladjustment in this one isn't he
I do so enjoy when characters with personas or identity issues decide to be as frustrating as possible about them
