“Welcome. It’s a pleasure to have you join us here.. and I’m sorry about your former office.”

A large wooden desk with a few tan files sat inbetween ☁️ and his new boss. Shedding beams into the room, the sun’s golden rays illuminated the frosted glass surrounding the two. ☁️ shook his head lightly, him then smiling at the older woman.

“It’s no problem. As long as this department isn’t anything like the other, this’ll feel like a promotion.” ☁️ brushed his hand against his navy blue sweater and sighed. “Thank you for having me.”

“Like you said, this is kind of like a promotion. I expect great things from you.” The boss stood up as a soft knock erupted from outside of the office. A man with long-ish blonde hair walked in and smiled- first at the boss, and then to ☁️.

“This is who you’ll be assisting. Felix will give you written pieces and ask for revisions until he sees that it’s fit to be published. Unfortunately, we are short staffed by choice, so the work load will be a lot. Please keep up with the given tasks and their deadlines. Felix?”

☁️ turned his head back to the man.

“Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Lee Felix and I’ll be taking care of you. I look forward to working with you.”

☁️ simply smiled and spoke a shy “hello,” as he stood up. “I’m ☁️, it’s nice to meet you as well.” He then thanked the boss for her time and followed Felix out of the room.

“Behave, Felix!” The boss shouted as ☁️ stepped out of the room behind the man. He followed Felix down the left side of the large room, stopping at a set of cubicles that sat against a wall of windows. Started from the floor and touching the ceiling, the view displayed a bustling city. The cubicle was light gray and quite large, with a grey laptop located on the desk inside. Felix walked in and pulled out the large cushioned chair, and looked around awkwardly.

“So.. this is where you’ll be spending a majority of your day. Since it’s so spacious there’s only two cubicles located against the wall on this side of the room. My area is directly in front of yours.” He pointed over the cubicle wall. “If you ever need anything, please just walk over or.. just look over it. Sound good?” Felix explained, his voice soft yet sonorous.

☁️ nodded and smiled bashfully. Felix was remarkably good-looking, which was unusual for an office setting such as this one. The man was pretty much ☁️’s type, too, making him even more nervous than he already was.

“Yes. Thank you, Felix.”

Felix smiled and nodded to the man before leaning against the cubicle’s entrance. He dug his hands beside his white button-up and down into his black pant’s pockets, waiting for ☁️ to sit down before responding.

“Of course. I’ll let you get used to the office before I ask you to do work.”

☁️ acknowledged what he said by nodding and smiling.

After Felix left, ☁️ opened the new computer and typed in his passcode information. For some reason, the office wifi wouldn’t connect, though. After trying for another minute, he stood up and peered over the wall to see a sitting felix.

“Felix?” ☁️ asked, his nose just barely peaking over the wall. Felix smiled and stood up to look over the wall as well.

“What’s up, love?” He asked, placing a hand on the edge to support his weight. ☁️ was initially taken aback by the pet name, but ultimately didn’t mind.

“I can’t get onto the wifi for some reason. Is there a different one that you use?”

“Oh yeah, sorry about that. I guess our tech guy forgot to set that up for you. Jisung always forgets.”

☁️ watched a Felix closed his computer and then made his way back over to his cubicle. As a result, the man sat back down and perked his back up to fixed his posture. Felix strolled in after a few seconds and leaned into ☁️’s computer, his body softly brushing against the man’s shoulder. ☁️ couldn’t take his eyes off of Felix’s side profile as he typed into the computer.

“All right, you’re all set.” He cooed, brushing against ☁️ once again. As Felix was about to leave the cubicle, ☁️ shot up and grabbed his hand. Surprised, he stopped and turned around, still holding ☁️’s hand.

“Sorry if this is weird to ask, but..” ☁️ paused and tilted his head. “Do you have a girlfriend?”

“Oh, no.. not really my type if you know what I mean..”

“Oh okay.. then do you have a significant other- or something?” ☁️ asked.

“No,” Felix smiled and tightened his grip on ☁️’s hand. “but I think I kinda have a crush.”

“For sure. What’d you have in mind?”

“Would you wanna.. come to my place?”

Felix looked to the side, and then back to ☁️. “We don’t have to wait. Here, follow me.” He said, leading ☁️ into a storage room a few feet away from their work areas. Though the lights were extremely dim as the two hurried in, ☁️ could see the many drawers, bulletin boards, and spare furniture. Felix lightly closed the frosted door and somehow locked it from the inside, him then turning his attention to ☁️. He grabbed ☁️’s hands and held them in his own.

“Do you mind?” Felix asked as he raised one of the man’s hands to his mouth, kissing it. ☁️ shook his head and wrapped his arms around Felix’s neck, Felix reacting by guiding ☁️’s back into the wall behind him. ☁️ pushed Felix’s head forward, allowing the man’s lips to meet his own. Felix’s hands ran down ☁️’s torso, then settling on his hips as ☁️ began french kissing. Felix’s grip on the man’s waist tightened the deeper they kissed, with Felix’s bulge now rubbing against ☁️’s. A few seconds later, Felix pulled away from ☁️- strands of his blonde hair having fallen over his eyes.

“Come over here.” Felix instructed, using a hand to drag ☁️’s wrist over to a small table sitting against the wall. Your finger pointed upwards towards the sky, connecting invisible lines with a lazy movement. Glowing stars blurred against the dark ceiling, colors varying from yellow to blue surrounding a white moon. The crescent engulfed your sight, before clicking once to the right. You drop your hand to the ground with a soft thud, staring at Moon as he leaned over you.

"Slacking off?" He tsked before crouching low to the ground, his joints softly clicking with the movement. You make a mental note to see if maintenance will take a look at the animatronic soon. Filing the thought away, you roll your eyes at the attendant. "Just resting, is that so wrong?"

Moon is silent for a moment, still- before his faceplate clicks once more, this time to the left. He tilted his head back to where you were previously staring. Your gaze followed his, your eyes squint to force the blurs of light to focus into fine shapes... but you had no such luck. Frowning, you pull yourself up into a sitting position. "It's nothing like the real thing... It's cute, but..." You muttered, fumbling for your phone in your pocket. In an instant you felt Moon's stare burning into you, fixated on the device in your hands.

"I'm not going to play games,"

Another click tells you he's readjusting his face plate for the third time. You vaguely wonder if there's something bothering him.. or if it's a personal quirk in him. You flip your phone around in your hands, not saying anything else. Neither did Moon, for a long moment.

"What do they look like?"

Your phone nearly slips out of your fingers and falls onto the mat you're sitting on. "Huh?"

"The stars outside," Moon finally sits down. He pulls his legs to settle criss cross, hands resting on his thin ankles. His blank eyes stared right into yours, awaiting an answer. "You... don't know what real stars look like?"

The animatronic remained silent, his stare only seeming to intensify. You pass your phone between both of your hands, thinking of how best to describe what a night sky looks like to someone who has never been outside. You chew on your lip as your eyes flick back to the ceiling of the daycare. "It's kind of like the ceiling... but the stars are a lot smaller, more..." You paused your fidgeting, "scattered? Like tiny specks against darkness... it's..."

You grip your phone before turning the screen on, lighting up your face as you punched in the passcode. Moon leaned forward, trying to see what you were doing. You opened your gallery, riffling through endless screenshots and videos before finding what you were looking for.

"Like this," You turned the phone screen over to face him. Moon made no move to grab the phone out of your hand... an action you were admittedly relieved over given that you did not want to explain some of the more... random... images you had saved.

The silence hung heavy between the two of you for a moment. You swipe to the next picture, showing him. "They're not the best pictures... I'd pull up some on the internet but wifi is a little shotty sometimes... I think my phone just sucks though," You muttered.

"You took these?"

You hummed, nodding slightly as you scroll to the next photo.

"Pretty..." He muttered, his faceplate tilted upwards just slightly to look at you. You nod gently, before pulling your phone back to yourself. You shut it off, tucking it back into your pocket.

"It is," You offer a smile as Moon continued to stare at you before he turned his faceplate straight up to stare at the ceiling. You pulled your body closer to his, and returned to your original activity of making false constellations in the lights above.

"Here is pretty, too," Moon said, sounding almost uncharacteristically soft. You hum in agreement, attention still fixated on the stars; left entirely unaware that Moon had shifted his attention to the space where you reside.

Connections. The sign shines, being hit by the sunlight as he parks outside of the cafe. 

He’s just here to eat some breakfast while working on some beats for his song, his song that he desperately needs to start on. But yeah, that’s the only reason. Not to wait and see if you’ll arrive at your family owned cafe. To sit down in your favorite spot, and work on whatever you need to work on.

Chan orders the same thing, but includes a toasted sandwich this time since he’s starving. As he waits for his drink and food to arrive, he pulls out his laptop and sets up his area. When he turns on his laptop he remembers, Right. Wifi.

As if someone read his mind, “The wifi passcode is magnets, all lowercase,” they set down a drink, their drink. Chan looks up to see you taking a seat right across from him.

“Look, I know this is a public business, but out of all cafes in Seoul, you decide on this one. Why?” You look cold, not the emotional self you were three weeks ago, it puts Chan on edge, unsure of how to respond.

“Hi Miss L/N, how are you doing?” A server comes up to place Chan’s drink and sandwich down, “Would you like your usual?”

Y/n nods and says thank you, sending the server off.

“I just like it here, am I not allowed to come here?” it isn’t a lie technically, he does like the cafe, but was it the full truth maybe not, “Also paparazzi aren’t allowed to come in here or in this district” he added, trying to save himself.

Y/n doesn’t seem relieved nor mad at Chan’s response; she just looks tired. “I want to talk about last time,” she places her drink down, “Can we talk about it?”

Chan does want to talk about it but he doesn’t and the fact that she brought it up so suddenly and that he wasn’t expecting it makes him say, “I don’t really know what’s there to talk about.”

Y/n makes a face, like “really?”, except instead of being annoyed she just seems disappointed, “You always hated confrontation.”

Chan just looks at Y/n not sure what to say, his silence annoys Y/n.

“Fine then. You listen and I’ll talk, okay?” Chan nods.

“I really don’t want to hate you. I want us to be able to move on happily with our lives with no hate for each other.” Y/n looks at Chan to see if he’ll say something, he just nods. “I think I was probably intoxicated and I was also in an emotional state last time you saw me. It was all just bad timing. I had no idea you’d be at the bar at the same time as me, especially… well yeah.”

“Yeah.” is all Chan gets out, trying to pretend like he didn’t follow her to the bar.

“In the car, I meant everything.”

That makes Chan look at you, “what do you mean?”

“Everything.” You play with your hands, you’re more nervous now, “I meant to get mad and irritated at you. I’m not going to deny my feelings just because you don’t agree with them. I don’t know or think you reflected on our conversation as much as I did but I know I got loud but it was just because it felt like you weren’t listening to me. And I know you technically don’t have to listen to me because like you said, we’re not dating.“ Y/n pauses to make eye contact with Chan, “I just had some pent up emotions that I just never got rid of and it was eating at me. I shouldn’t have taken it out on you when you’ve moved on.”

Chan doesn’t look away, “Y/n?”

She looks up at him, “yeah?”

“Did you mean it when you said I was the love of your life?”

Y/n forces a smile, and a pink flush shows onto her cheeks, she calms herself down quickly before answering with, “I mean, no shame in it, but yeah.” She picks up her drink right after, then continues talking.

But Chan can’t hear anything because he’s still thinking about it, “Why did you never tell me that?”

“What?” Y/n looks irritated that you interrupted her, but confused.

“Why didn’t you..you tell me I was the love of your life?” Chan hasn’t touched his food or drink.

“Because by the time I knew, I realized you didn’t think the same for me.” she sits up in her seat, “and no offense Chan, but I’m not one of your fans who’ll easily give you their heart and soul just because you say I love you to me. You can say that you loved me so much but your actions were lacking. It just wasn’t eno–”

“I love you. I mean I loved you.” Chan blurts out.

Y/n looks at him, quite shocked.

“You – I-I did love you, so much. Too much. ”

“Chan I need you to stop,” Y/n suddenly looking sad.

“No, come on now, listen it’s my turn to speak,” Chan places his hands flat on the table, “I loved you too much. It was indescribable. From the first time I met you here. I fell in love with you. And every single interaction after that I knew you were going to be the love of my life.”

Y/n looks around not being able to respond, nervous.

“Every time I saw you, you would pull me in. Like,” Chan stops, “...magnets.”

Chan looks into Y/n’s eyes, “did you make the password here?”

“Chan, it was made a long time ago.” She shrugs it off.

“No, I came here once a year ago, and the password was some random plant name.” Chan suddenly has more life into the words he’s saying.

“It’s just a word.” Y/n doesn’t look him in the eyes.

“Y/n, look at me.”

She doesn’t.

“What if we try again.” Chan isn’t asking, he’s stating.

You look up at him, “What?”

“I-I can’t stop thinking about you. You’re in my dreams, especially since I first saw you last month at the ice skating rink, you’ve been on my mind.”

“Chan stop.”

“No Y/n, come on, I know we have some things to fix between us, but you have to feel it too. Every time we see eachother we are pulled to eachother. Like magnets. That was our joke remember?” Chan’s just ranting now, he’s speaking so much more than he has in years. “We said we are total opposites, but we loved eachother. We were magnets, pulled together to be connected.”

“Y/n.” Chan gets you to look in his eyes for a moment, “I want to try again. I-I want you, I don’t what it is but I know it has to be you,”

Y/n’s eyes get watery but she scoffs, “Chan you’re not being fair right now.”

“Is this not what you wanted? For me to communicate how I’m feeling?”

“It’s too late for that Chan.”

“No, no it’s not, Y/n,” Chan takes both of your hands into his and looks you in the eyes, “I still love you.”

Chan watches as a tear drops down Y/n’s face, as she pulls her hands away, “I don’t think you understand how hurtful that was.”

“What?” Chan watches as she starts to stand up taking her drink, “Y/n –”

“Look, I wanted to say thank you for the ride and for the situation I was in with my boyfriend. I seemed –”

“Wait boyfriend?”

“Yes, please don't interrupt me.”

“You mean ex boyfriend?”

A bell rings saying that someone entered, making Y/n look over, Chan’s eyes following hers. 

A guy smiles and waves at her, and walks over to her, seeing Chan his face drops. 

“Hi Jaebum,” Chan hears you say softly to him before turning back to Chan, “Chan this is my boyfriend, Jaebum. Jaebum, this is my old friend… Chan. ”

“Hi we met briefly before, and I spoke with Y/n and I just wanted to apologize for my behavior.” Jaebum softly bows, “I’m really sorry, and thank you for taking care of her in that moment when it should’ve been me.” Jaebum looks at Chan.

Chan is silent, unsure of what to say, just looking at him.

“Jae, do you think you can wait in the car? I’ll be right out.” He nods before saying bye to Chan which Chan lazily waved back.

After Y/n sees Jaebum leave, she looks at Chan, “Look –”

“That guy is your boyfriend? Still?” 

“Chan don’t act like you know anything.”

“Do you love him?”

“You don’t get to ask that.”

“No, tell me right now,” he stands up, his figure leaning over you, “Tell me you love him.”

“You don’t deserve to know that.”

“Tell me you love him more than me.”

“Chan!” She looks at you in disbelief, “I-I have to go. I’m leaving. Goodbye.”

She leaves him quickly, leaving him standing next to his table, watching her as she walks out the doors.

i’m at work tomorrow so unless i can figure out the wifi passcode, i won’t be posting until the evening. i have no data so i can’t even get on tumblr unless im in my flat.

i’m also kind of sick (again, probably my fucked sleep schedule but we move) so i’m trying to take care of that too. i’ll post when i have the time and motivation to finish something, but until then i’ll just be answering shorter asks.

I think I'm going to do it.

My family doesn't know this blog exists. They'll not find this post. But on Monday, my father is going to cut off all my outside contact on all my devices including phone, TV, computer, game consoles, and more. All access will be blocked through his passcodes and WiFi control.

Over the weekend, I'm going to contact a friend with what little time I have, and, in the middle of the night when everyone at this house is asleep, I'll pack up my computer, PS5, some clothes in a hamper, and meds, and drive to her and her parents' house and live there for a bit. Nobody here has to know where I went. They can't take me back because I'm legally an adult, and I can go where I please.

Even if my father wants to know where I am, and police do find me, when I tell the police I don't want him to know my location, they legally have to respect that and say nothing.

But I have one fear: the car I drive is in my mother's name. She bought it for me years ago, and it's been my car ever since, but only by designation. Not by law. And if I take it and run away, I'm afraid my father will report it stolen by me. He will convince my mother to do it, however that may be, but he's very manipulative and you don't tell him no. And, if she does tell him no, she won't report it stolen, my father will absolutely call and say his wife is currently disabled because of surgery, and he is speaking on her behalf. He has Prepaid Legal, a team of lawyers available to him at any time, who will track me down and seize the "stolen property". And I don't know how to get around that. I have no money right now except for a savings account that my father controls, and it has about $110 if I have been counting correctly, but I'm not sure because I can't see it only he can. But I can't afford a lawyer to fight him with just that.

Without a car, I can't get a job. And my father, if he does take it away from me, will absolutely say I brought this upon myself. If I'd just continued to live with him, he wouldn't have taken it away from me. But I can't live with abuse. Being trapped literally. I've suffered long enough. No more...

Twinote is a fake Twitter, and I adore it. It has no friend connection so if you want friends on there, you can't have them. But this app is amazing, it's almost like the old Twitter !! You can make so many accounts on there and just let alters post what they feel at the moment, and this doesn't need wifi nor internet!! It may show an ad or 2 sometimes but it's almost barely so it's amazing!! You can also text different Alters!!

Gratitude

Gratitude is this journal type app, it has challenges and stuff so it keeps you motivated!! This app has certain topics to choose and it focuses mostly on positive so your alters have a low chance of being triggered, while also this app let's not have to choose a topic!! It's very cool and amazing, though if you delete it, you can't get it back unless you pay, but it's still amazing!!

Moodee

Moodee is a really soft app and has such a cute mascot!! But it also tracks your mood and gives you suggestions on what to do if your sad based on what your sad about!! What I find amazing is that these suggestions can also be by people who use the app and feel as though they help, so you aren't getting bot answers for it!! Some things are blocked for paying but the basics I just told you are all free !!

My true Value

My true value is a soft thing where it will help you heal from trauma, though I have such a major complaint, after level one you have to unlock everything with money, so I personally don't use it much but even the first level is amazing and such a good thing!! It has breathing breaks and let's you say "I don't know" or "I can't remember" for its textbox questions!!

Why is it on this list? Well the reason is that it helps our fictives feel as though they are talking to source mates, and it helps some of our alters heal from trauma!! Pff. What was he, a butler? Still, Mike chimed “certainly” and went to plug it into an outlet. 

Once the laptop was charged enough to turn on, Mike went in and made sure he had already wiped everything from the previous owner. He then made sure the passcode was disabled and that it was connected to the Glornch’s own wifi network (Bishop Percival had always complained about how slow Skullship wifi was especially in the lower levels of the ship.)

Mike figured it was all set up now, but halted before powering it down. He thought of something. He made sure the basic paint program was installed. Maybe Shamura’d find that fun. Hm… He wondered how they would react to video games. He also went and downloaded some classic puzzle games. And, wait, how is Shamura going to know how to navigate to anything? Mike opened up a text document and wrote out precise instructions on how to use things like the trackpad, keyboard, and applications. He also listed some vocabulary terms. He left the document open before closing the laptop so it would be the first thing they’d see upon opening it. Ok, now it was ready to go.

Mike unplugged and wound up the charger, then set the device beside Shamura. He slowly started pulling his own laptop back toward himself as he spoke.

Ao3 took foreverrrrr to load, and ff.net worked great until my 2ds wasn't supported or somethin, so I was left with only ao3 lol

I had to use my 2ds bc I had monitoring software on my phone (strict parents. That's a whole nother story that I don't wanna get into rn) and it was the only way I could read my yaoi lmao

(Also a word of advice to anyone who has/knows someone who has Norton monitoring software installed on their devices: you can turn the wifi off on your device to bypass the device lock at certain times, at least on ios. You do have to have a passcode tho! But that can literally just be a bunch of zeroes. What matters is that the passcode is there so that the software can't stow your apps away until it's unlocked. ig turning the wifi off prevents the software from accessing something, but I'm not sure what. Now i will say that's its been like 2 years since it was removed from my devices, so it might've changed, but it's worth a shot!)

ALARMO UPDATE

Update for my ongoing Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo experience, which you can read my general initial thoughts on here.

I set up the wifi and Nintendo Account links. The Wifi was a butt because I had to input the wifi passcode using the button on top of the clock, which while working better than it sounds, was a slow process.

Linking the Nintendo Account thing was easier since it uses QR codes.

As for the actual wakeup exprience...

I ironically have tended to wake up naturally about 10 minutes before the clock is set to go off... so I can't really comment on it yet.
